Outback Steakhouse in other cities:
Worst food ever i took my daughter and her wife out last night. No one else was there to eat however it took almost 45 mins to get our food however my daughters ribeye was way over cooked and my Alice springs chicken was for the first time in 25 years that I have eaten at outback was way over cooked the cheese was hard and brunt on top my baked potato was old as hell and my broccoli was cold i have never had a problem at any outback until I went to this one. I went here because my daughter and her wife wanted to eat here. Never again will I ever go back and my waitress was worse than the food.
A little disappointed. Bloomin onion was not hot. Steak was not medium rare and was chewie and an item that was supposed to come with the meal showed up after the fact. However Server was very nice and friendly. The bloomin chicken was super tender. Outback will have to up their game for me to return.
Our visit was more than a 5 star! Our waiter Joseph R did an excellent job. I ordered the Strawberry Kiwi Rita for my drink and the presentation was beautiful, our food was made the way we asked and our dessert was excellent! Thank you so much Outback! Will be returning soon!!!!❤️
Weve eaten here twice and had it delivered 3 times. The last 2 it seems the quality of the meat has really gone down. Especially this visit to the restaurant. The filet was literally as thick as a pancakes and over cooked. The sirloin was terrible. It was so chewy I only ate half. The French onion soup had a hamburger bun for bread. Even the regular table bread seemed a little oldThe upside, Dave out waiter did a great job.
Ordered desserts for curbside and they were horrible! The brownie was cold and spongy. We waited 10 min in the curbside spot before finally calling the restaurant to see if our order was ready. It was ready a while before that because the ice cream was melted. The text says to stay in your car and they will come to you. Apparently not unless you call them.
Ordered through Door Dash and got a double priced steak that couldn’t be cut with my best steak knife. Don’t get me started on the lack of topping for a potato. Really??? Sharing a 1oz cup for butter and sour cream & cheese? It’s 1 thing to over charge for a piece of gristle disguised as a steak but it’s a total different story to skimp on condiments and plastic cups just because the customer isn’t standing in front of you. Has big corporations greed gotten so bad that you choose to rip people off this much? This is pathetic…
The food was really good. I had a rime rib cooked medium and they actually got it perfectly cooked. A lot of times a lot of places just miss it by cooking it just slightly under or over. The lighting in this place in a little dark, I prefer a place with a little more light myself. But overall my experience was very good. I would definitely go back. And whoever the gentleman was who looked at me like he wanted to kill me for taking photos of the restaurant chill out bud its a free country!!! May God bless you all!!!
Ordered a medium Sirloin and it was cooked as pictured. Also had significantly more gristle than their steaks have had in the past. I was pretty disappointed compared to previous visits here. Also, the server smelled like a Holister store sprouted legs and was serving steaks.
3/29/22: Ordered through uber eats. Really wanted a steak and took a chance after last order (see below). Everything arrived in perfect order packaged well. It wasnt until I tasted the steak... MELT IN YO MOUTH DELISH. The plastic knife that came with my meal cut through the steak like butter(11oz sirloin) Was so impressed, I called Josh the manager. I really hope he passes along my thanks and appreciation to the grill master. What a great way to end the day. Cant give 5 stars because I was never contacted about the cheese fries.6months ago: ⭐⭐Ordered through door dash. Stesk, baked potatoes and cheese fries for appetizer. Ordered extra bacon and extra cheese on the fries. Was charged extra for the extras. No bacon at all on the cheese fries, and no extra cheese. 🙄🙄
Sirloin and coconut shrimp with baked potato and salad. And Sirloin, baked potato and salad.Medium well steaks were black on one side, tough to cut with a sharp German steel knife. Approximately 1/4 tsp of bacon bits and 1/4 top of shred cheese for full sized potatoes..Good flavor, just disappointed in the steak, and topping for potatoes.
Service was kind and very nice. We sat at a booth by the bar and the waiter was really kind. Food came.out fairly fast, but.i dont feel like the quality matched the price. The shrimp was dry and over cooked and had no flavor. The steak was way over seasoned to the point I cut the top and bottom off and only ate the center. As far as cooking goes, they are true to scale. Unlike most restaurants, when you ask for medium, thats what you get.We will not be returning here. Other locations are better. Not this one.
Staff was great , the food was good , the only down side is that the place is starting to look worn out, the epoxy on the tables is peeling up, and its very uncomfortable to rest your arms on the table. Your plate rocks back and forth when your trying to eat. The Outside sign doesnt work and chairs are a little worse for wear. This place could be amazing again if the owner or management put a little money back into the building.
The wait staff is outstanding. Clean restaurant. The issue was the food that night. I ordered the new blooming onion chicken fried chicken and my wife ordered the grilled salmon. My chicken came out way overcooked which made it bland. The salmon was also overcooked and was rubbery. Neither of us wanted to send the food back but my wife did mention to the waitress that everything was overcooked just so they could correct the issue with the cook. She sent the manager over and the issue was again explained. He apologized and said he would speak to the cook. And that was the end of the complaint. It stopped right there and never heard anything.
I went there for lunch while my tires were being installed down the street. Decent meal, steak was tasty but a bit tough. The waitress was quite rude and very aloof to my patronage. She literally told me, that if I wanted to sit in the booth near the door, nobody would serve me. Huh? She sat me in the bar area, took my order, and brought it to my table. Not another word out of her. Really bizarre. The only saving grace, was that a man who appeared to be the manager, checked in on me to make sure I was good. I almost complained to him about the attitude of the waitress, but decided to leave well enough alone. I wont be returning...
I loved my hamburger and I’m extremely picky about burgers. My husband steak was cooked just the way he likes them and seasoned just right. The blooming onion was not. It was not fully breaded and parts was so greasy it left puddles in our plates. I don’t think it had been drained at all. That being said, our waitress was one of the best we’ve had. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.
Service was awesome. Food was awesome. I had the Salmon with Shrimp and it was amazing. We had a party of 8 with reservations which were missed. They seated us right away and our waitress was so patient and kind. From what I could tell everyone loved their food especially the guest of honor who said his steak was perfect!
Fantastic. I know its a chain restaurant, but that has its perks in consistency. My steak was done perfectly, medium rare, and the sides were generous and cooked as the should have been. I can not complain about the service either. My server was attentive and accommodating. Definitely a great steakhouse.
We called with no notice about a party of 25 people because the original restaurant we had plans could not accommodate us. They got us right in, and killed the order! They did amazing. Everything was fresh, drinks were refilled, and food was superb! Definitely recommend Burleson outback!!
I placed an DoorDash order on Sunday 08/22/21 and it was delivered on time however, the food was absolutely horrible! Ordered sirloin steak with shrimp on the Barbie. Steak was to be cooked well done, it was burned to a crisp, the three itty bitty shrimps were very tiny and the loaded mashed potatoes were cold as ice. My food bill was $30.01 after all the delivery fees were added and definitely this dinner wasn’t worth that at all. At this point I am not happy with Outback and will most likely not order from there ever again🤕🤕🤕
My wife and I both had the sirloin. While taking into account that sirloin is not generally the most flavorful cut, both our steaks were just meh. You know how it is, good enough that you dont want to bother sending it back, but bad enough that you might not order it ever again. There also seemed to be some [potential] management issues going on:1. Host stuffing his face with french fries at the host stand.2. Loud cursing coming from the back room (to-go area maybe?). Several tables with children, including our four kiddos, were located immediately beside/adjacent the area.3. The bathrooms were NOT okay. 😳The best thing I have to say is that our server was pretty solid. If I could remember her name, Id give her a shout out. 😕
My family went to this location for dinner and were the first people in the door I started talking to the hostess who awnsered the phone while we were trying to get on the wait list. While she was on the phone several other partys came in and as we were trying to be respectful we were standing a little out the way and trying to wait patiently while she helped everyone else. After about ten minutes the line in the lobby started to go down so I stepped forward to speak with Josh who was the manager and I explained that the hostess started to get us on the wait list and that she never got our name and asked if they needed it. Josh tells me that I should have pushed my way in started to get an attitude with me. I told him that we would just go somewhere else and started to leave so Josh tells me that he does not know why I am being rude and they are busy. Ending to the story we went across the way to Logans and had exceptional service and a great meal. Guess we found our new steakhouse.
Wow...so expensive for the same thing you can get anywhere else for about half the price.. Bowls of soup are some of the tiniest Ive seen, measuring a cup at the most(I think their butter cups are deeper), and their soup is $5.99 at that! You want french onion soup? Thatll be a dollar more. You want mac and cheese as a side in place of the one that comes with the meal Thatll 1.99 extra. Ridiculous. My husband and I got home and were like never again!!! I ordered a basic grilled chicken dinner..It was overcooked. We were very disappointed. Three adults and a 5 year old $80!! Id go anywhere else before I go there again.
I really dont like giving out bad reviews but Ive Givin this location so many chances. 1st to go I ordered a month ago was wrong order. the order I made last night the blooming onion was half runny dough had to put in air fryer and still wasnt great.... gave barley any sauces. Mac and cheese was cold and cease salad was sad paid 90 bucks and not happy at all very disappointed. wont be back at this location
We usually love Outback but it was horrible this time. Bloomin Onion was greasy and not completely cooked. My medium steak came out rare. Tried the new ribs...way to sweet for me. Service was great but we wont be back as they have taken out the mask and have all the tables open.
Ordered takeout tonight and was pretty disappointed. My husband got the Bloomin’ fried chicken which was delicious but they completely forgot his mashed potatoes, paid extra for the Mac and cheese which was awful…basically rubbery noodles with a few pieces of shredded cheese on them, no flavor. I got the prime rib sandwich, also didn’t have much flavor and didn’t seem to have horseradish sauce on it. The au jus was extremely greasy and had little flavor. The bread that came with our order was delicious but the nickel size amount of butter just wasn’t enough to enjoy with the entire loaf of bread. This is our first experience with this outback and we most likely will not be going back.
Excellent decision to give Outback delivery another chance as our last experience was not so good. Our meal was delivered hot by a very cheerful young lady. And every bite from first to last was amazing. Just goes to show you that every restaurant deserves a second chance.Well done Outback!
Price is good, place is clean, people were friendly. But service wasnt that great, took a while for 5 plates of food to come out and place was half full. When they brought them , they didnt bring to each person . He asked us to pass it down, and he put a plate down to pass to next person crossing my sons face. Then when one of the plates were really wrong , they took it back and took forever to bring back a Rare Steak. , The other people were almost done when they came back with it. And they didnt even discount it due to the problem and time it took to bring back. And we were almost done.
Now that Ive been here twice in a short period I can say that they are consistent with their great service. I was very pleased with the food on my first visit, and my second visit we tried something a bit more inexpensive to see if the quality was the same, as well as the service, and I can happily say both experiences were great. The bread was fresh, the steaks were cooked exactly as requested, every bite was extraordinarily delicious, and honestly the bill for the 2nd visit was less than 40 dollars for 3 people which was incredible. You could easily spend the same or more on some subpar food at MacDonalds.
The Blooming Onion was cold and somewhat raw in the middle. My wifes steak was chewy...almost expected to bite me back...ordered Med and it was close. Just think it was luck of the draw on the steak. The drinks were on point. I had the Huckleberry Moonshine and she had the Margarita sampler.
The food was great! The waitress was at our table a bit more than I would have liked her to be. However, I suppose being over-courteous is definitely better than not being courteous enough! Not worth taking a star off for sure. Clean restrooms and the food came out in a timely manner. All around good experience.
Our waitress was not welcoming at all, she made us feel super rushed, we were there early so its not like they were trying to close or anything. Not sure why she was so unpleasant.I unfortunately hated our experience and couldnt wait to leave.I just wanted a nice lunch date with my husband :/
Ordered door dash from this location on Friday night. Spent $157.00 it was absolutely trash. All the fries we ordered with our meal were raw, the burgers had so much mustard on them it was edible, and to top it off the shrimp from the pasta was raw as well. I’ve never been so disappointed in a meal. Tried calling them after we received our food and no one would pick up the phone. We love outback and had never ate at this location but we will never give them another shot.
Went in for my birthday. My steak under cooked my husbands over cooked. Forgot my vegetables. My lobster was cold and tough. And was as big as my thumb. Horrible worst experience at outback. You figure you pay 100 for 2 meals it would be right. Got tired of asking for thing that were forgot. Didnt have time to get it remade. We had reservations we had to get to.and whats sad is they barely had anyone there mabey 6 cars in parking lot.
Molly was such a great waitress/server. She made sure everyone had everything. Our glasses never went empty. Even when we had to send the Kookaburra Wings because they had hair on them. The manager of this shift was a little rude about us sending them back saying the hair is just feathers which was slightly unprofessional but Molly fixed it and got us new ones. She was so caring and genuine she made the experience great. And my party and I will be back because of her.
So good. After being greeted with a smile and a happy disposition, we were seated and provided with a drink immediately. We placed our order and received beautifully cooked, amazing food within minutes. The restaurant has great curb appeal having cultivated a beautiful landscape. Inside the restaurant, their newest interior updating is sophisticated and engaging. Good food, great staff, inviting ambiance, all professionally executed. We could not have had a better experience.
Love the blooming onion. The steak was mucho tasty! The potatoes & asparagus were amazing. The baked potato was perfect (not all places get that right)! The salted caramel cookie was scrumptious! Servers were all great! Good atmosphere. Really fantastic visit. Thanks!
I was very unimpressed with the steak. They evidently mixed up the order because my daughters steak was more done then mine and she ordered medium rare. I gave her my bigger steak because it was barely medium rare and we both thought it lacked flavor. The skillet mac and cheese was the worst. I didnt know you could mess up mac and cheese, yet they did. Neither of us ate it, took it home and the guys didnt want it either. Outback used to be my favorite. I wanted to add we did get the mushrooms appetizer and it was way more then expected and was wonderful.
Tried the Limited time offered Beef Rib. Ive had beef ribs before and really enjoyed them. For the price $25, i wasnt impressed by the fibrous single bone in rib with 2 scoops of mashed potatoes. Was a bit chewy and didnt have alot of flavor. Also the waitress neglected to tell us that we could substitute one side of potatoes for something else, in fact we didnt even know it came with 2.
My wife and I dined here the evening of 9-4 and had the pleasure of having Gavn as our server. We have recently had a death in the family, and this was our “date night.” We had the new steak dip appetizer (which Gavn picked out for us!) and the French dip, as well as steak and lobster. The food was delicious, as always. What really made the night was our server. Gavn was very on top of his game, and just an absolute sweetheart. My wife and I are both service industry, and Gavn had an awesome, very genuine personality. We really enjoyed our evening here. :)
Went Friday night with the wife for a much needed night out. Got an 18oz steak of course which was cooked excellent. Wife ordered the chicken fried steak which she liked very much. Great portions and friendly service. Our waitress was pulling twice the tables due to someone not showing up to work, but handled us and the other tables flawlessly. She deserves a raise for as hard as she worked. Will be back
I sat at the bar.. The bartender immediately filled my drink order. I ordered the bone in rib eye medium rare. The flavor and the cook were fine. However, much of the steak was not edible. The gristle was something I have not experienced at a restaurant, even of cheap steaks. Definitely not at the $30.00 range... So, was overall disappointed...
Now THIS is what its supposed to be like! We had a great experience and Tonya S was a fantastic server. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. And sometimes when you go to a restaurant on a downtime you can get less than good service but that was not the case. Literally nothing that I could complain about.
Food was just ok. Husband ordered soup that came out cool. My steak dinner also was not hot and my potato had to go back bc it did not come out as I had asked. Waitress did offer to have manager come over. He offered dessert for the subpar food however neither my hubby or myself cared for the dessert options so we passed. Glad that they acknowledged the issues though.
When it was time to checkout, I told the waitress that I would like to apply the Heroes discount being that I am a nurse. The waitress asked her manager, Dave about applying the discount to my bill. Dave, rudely and adamantly told me that there is no such discount for nurses, only military and AARP. I knew this was false because I viewed the details on the website prior to arriving to the restaurant. Dave ignored me when I tried to show him the site containing the information on available discounts. I will NEVER visit this location again. Even though it is very close to my house. Id rather travel the extra miles to a more welcoming location than deal with someone as rude and condescending as Dave. He needs retraining on customer service skills immediately as a manager, thats embarrassing. You should be the epitomy of valuing customer experiences at your restaurant, not driving consumers away!
This was definitely not our usual experience at this location. The food was subpar and the service was ok but was very slow. Our food came out cold and my steak was very tough. We asked for a drink before our meal came out and did not receive it until we were half way through our meal. Our server was very nice but seemed overwhelmed.
This location wasn’t the best. I ordered cheese fries and paid for extra cheese and when I got them they barely had any cheese on them. When I go to other outback locations, these cheese cover the fries when I order extra cheese. When I finished the order, I still had a bunch of fries that didn’t have anything on them. I will not go back to this location again.
We have eaten there a couple of times in the past maybe a year ago and everything was fantastic. Last night I ordered the medallions, salad and garlic potatoes. I was served tough stew meat and a warm wilted salad. I tried a couple bites of meat and could not chew it, spit it out. We informed the manager and he offered me something else but I told him I was good. He did remove the meal from our check. So, Great atmosphere, good wine, good service, but the food needs A LOt of improvement.
We had the best time at this location. Food was amazing, atmosphere was superb, and the drinks were awesome. We had also met the most delightful manager, Heather Matthews, she made sure we were well taken care of. She was very kind and knew the answer to every question we had about our meal. I’ve never met a manager who was as educated and knowledgeable about their work. I know she’ll go very far with Outback.Great job! A night to remember.
The service was amazing and the food was good but I paid for Steak and Lobster and not the special the $25+ order and the steak was good but the lobster tail was about 1 inch wide and 2 inches long(not even 2 bites seriously)....Smallest Lobster tail I have ever seen. Really not worth the price I paid for it. The kitchen also missed my husbands order entirely...if it wasnt for the waitress and her amazing attitude this night would have been a total disaster.
Meh. Not impressed. Food was mediocre. Steak was cooked perfectly, but not seasoned well. There’s an up charge for a blue cheese salad and yet I can barely see any blue cheese in it. Unfortunately I took the salad to go, so just now discovering it’s mediocrity. The meal wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t good. I’ll drive on up the road to Saltgrass next time. If I’m spending $40 for a meal for one, it better at least liven up my taste buds.
The food was great, the servers were nice and attentive, and everything was clean. Only grievance I had was the steak, asked for a medium rare but it came out more medium. Same for my father, asked for a medium, came out more medium well. Still, Its a small grievance in an overall enjoyable experience.
We honestly had a pretty terrible experience. 2 stars because once we did get the food is was decent. Minus my steak being overcooked which didnt make much sense as I ordered the same temp as my dinner mate and same steak and theirs was cooked properly. The service left a lot to be desired. We had a reservation for 6:15 and were not sat until 6:40...at which point OUR ENTIRE SECTION WAS SAT AT ONCE. So obviously a group of servers started to scramble. Plates were not organized, drinks were melty and slow from the bar, and we had received the wrong potato. Pretty small and was corrected quickly. No big deal. Seemed like all the tables around us were kinda ticked off at one thing or another. Service was fairly quick once the dust had settled and food was out. However, another big issue was the fact that the servers were cleaning empty tables and completely ignoring our table. Even when I STACKED THE PLATES. We were literally finishing our drinks around a pile of plates and they were much more concerned about cleaning their sections for what I can only assume was the next bum rush. There were two sparkling tables when we left and a line out the door. This whole crazy wave thing the managers and hosts are doing really sets it up to fail from the get go. Ive never had such terrible service at an Outback. Period.
Usually very wonderful place, but last time we went it wasnt great. My plate was dirty and burger way overcooked. I get that I shouldnt have ordered a burger but I cant eat steak really. And my parents ordered steak and asked for medium and got well done. Like I said, usually wonderful place but just one bad experience.
We had a great time at this Outback! Have had issues at some other locations and decided to give Outback another chance when we came across this one during lunch. Great service and amazing food. Casually told the server about our experiences at other Outbacks and the manager came over and thanked us for giving the brand a second chance and made us feel absolutely at home!
Our server was friendly, we ordered the center cut sirloin and shrimp, it came quickly and was cooked perfectly.I got the steamed veggies side and was glad I did. It included carrots and squash which were also done very well. The herb butter garlic shrimp was good and since it was a endless shrimp promo, I tried the fried shrimp as well. It was like a chicken batter rather than cornmeal or beer batter and was okay, but I liked the garlic butter better. We will try to get back soon.
The cheese on our Aussie cheese fries was crusted to the fries in a huge clump. Our drinks took forever each time we ordered. Our steakhouse mac and cheese was dry with very little sauce. We did speak with the manager and were given extra sauce to put on our mac and cheese as well as offered to remake them. But by the time we had waited just to be checked on by our waiter we were ready to just go. After speaking to the manager we were given several dirty looks by other staff members. We paid for our meal and left a good tip for our waiter. Even though we had bad service we understand that everyone has an off night and it did feel good to tip him 30.00+ after the rude looks we got. Maybe he will think twice about making rude remarks about customers that just want to enjoy a good meal and good sevice.
Always good quality. A bit pricey but I know Ill be getting good quality, so Im not complaining.I wish they had not reduced the size of the salad though. Their salad was always a favorite of mine, but now there is less. Ugh. Seems the cost of rabbit food is minimal in comparison to having your customers walk out completely satisfied.Ill go back thoue.
The seasonings they put on their steaks make for a wonderful flavor. And they seem to always cook them to order perfectly. The servers seem to be too intrusive, though. If you prefer to have your conversations interrupted constantly, mid-sentence, asking if your water glass needs to be refilled then this the steakhouse for you! If you, as I do, prefer to have servers who simply take care of your table needs, as they arise, without interrupting your conversations by speaking, then you might be somewhat frustrated.Overall, the food is a 5. And the service is a 3 for me, earning this location a 4 star rating.
Food was cold. Asked for it to reheated.. waited another 30 minutes while my husband ate his semi cold food. Eventually they brought out my food in a to go bag. I eat there a couple times a month.. this is not normal. Obviously an off day in the kitchen. We will try again.
Went with my family last weekend for lunch. Wife ordered the tuna, which she said was very good and not too large of a meal. I got the chicken fried steak and it was huge! There were actually 2 of them on my place. I could only finish one, along with the sides, so I had lunch for the next day. Price was a little steep for steaks, so I didnt order one, but Im sure I will in the future to give it a try. Place was clean, staff was friendly and it was an overall good experience.
We tried the pick up and go the store offers. They brought everything out to the car on time, the food wasnt all mashed up in one box. They take the time to separate it into containers so when you get home you can make a nice plate and enjoy great food in your own home.Great and was my first time eating Outback Steakhouse food. Good job guys.
I had a great experience! My appetizer, salad, and food came out hot, fast, and tasted great. The waitress was on point keeping drinks filled, bringing the check e.t.c. My only complaint is that we did not like the mac n cheese, it was dry and just tasted weird....which will not stop me from coming back.
The first time we went our food was very good. My T-bone steak was cooked perfect and had so much flavor. 5 stars for our first visit. This last time was horrible. Got the T-bone steak and it was completely opposite. Had zero flavor and wasnt cooked any where near medium rare. 5-11-18 we decided to give it another try. Got the same T-bone as last time.....but this time it was cooked perfect and had tons of flavor. Ask for Jacob(from statefarm)
Lunch time escapade.... I went with my mom and there were barely anyone in the restaurant and our service was mediocre. I had to ask for everything. Pretty sure I ran that poor girl to death. The girl acted like it was her first day and I know damn well it was not. Not her fault Im sure everybody has personal issues. She was still sweet . The food was overpriced and they did not even have a lunch menu which doesnt surprise me but it is what it is.
I ordered my food for pick up. I called at 5:15 and told them I would be there at 5:45 to pick up. I arrived at 5:45 and they came to my car immediately and took payment. My food was not brought out until 6:07. When I asked they said the kitchen was being slow. When I got to eat my steak that was ordered medium rare, it was well done.
Id never been to Outback before. Underwhelming dining experience. Server was nice and prompt, but food presentation was bland, steak was seared in a way that indicated grill surface wasnt cleaned right....the sear had charred pieces from other meats stuck on my steak. They announce size of steak, but not of lobster tail. Mashed potatoes had great flavor, but dried up quick on plate. Sweet tea was bland.
I like it I just wish I could smoke in the restaurant but evidently were minorities now so I probably wont be going there anymore just because of that you dont care enough to bring in a customer with a smoke machine then you dont care to have any business at all sorry
We had a great time at this Outback! They’re a chain that gets it right and knows how to make you feel special! Went in for an early anniversary lunch and a few drinks and the staff made us feel so amazing! The manager Heather (I think?, shorter with dirty blonde hair), came over during our meal and congratulated us and surprised us with a beautifully plated cheesecake (the hubby mentioned it’s his favorite). I was so impressed!
Worst food ever!!!!Well, Im not gonna rant or bash this company. Instead, I will list everything that was ordered but what we received instead. Sounds good?1. Glass of water. It was a dirty glass with food remnants on the rim.2. Kids mac and cheese. It was just macaroni not a single drop of cheese, maybe a shortage in the cheese factory.3. Seasoned broccoli. broccoli that seemed like it was freshly picked outside and was hard as a rock.4. A waiter. Our waiter was never to be found to let her know if our problems with the food. Once the issue was brought up though, the manager and the waiter kept stopping by the table checking up on us.End results, fresh Mac and cheese and removed from ticket. We will definitely not be going back or to any other outback for that matter. Couple years ago we did Arlington outback steakhouse, terrible food service.
Service was great. Food disappointing from previous years at outback. No seasoning and very bland. Onion rings soft and not battered or fried as shown on photos or commercials. Always been our favorite. The stock show does a better job now. The mixed vegetables were steamed in same steamer as fish and tasted fishy.
Food was decent. Server was...sad. No tip for her because she didnt care about her job. Didnt tell us about all the extra charges. Ran our bill up significantly. They need better training. The manager was rude. We asked for BBQ sauce for our childrens chicken strips and he said it comes with honey mustard. Why would you say that to a cutsomer? If they ask for something, just give it to them! Server passed our table several times and didnt really check on us. Forgot my water. Im so tired of bad service in Texas. I guess if we were white we would get better service because thats who they mostly spend their time with. Definitely not worth the $60 + dollars we spent tonight. Id rather go to Fridays!
This place doesnt deviate from my expectations, which always makes the visit pleasant. Had the Bloomin Petals (?) and the steak/rib combo with fries. They dont claim to have the best steak youll ever experience, but they always deliver a high quality product. Very good with hot fries, which is also unusual for table service.
I had a great (And patient with our table of 7) waiter. He always kept our glasses full, and bread on the table. Our steaks were good, but the burgers were lacking. Just flat out weak. My son and I both had the grass fed burger. They forgot the garlic aioli on both and they were not hot and the bun was tough. I guess dont go to a steak place for a burger!
Really disappointed, the menu has changed eliminating items we had enjoyed over the past 20 plus years. The steak I ordered had so much gristle running through it that clearly should have been trimmed off the one side, and my husband thought hed try one of the new menu items, well as he put it we would have done better if we had gone to Whataburger! I have to agree. (Salad & bread were great)
Havent been in over 15 years and now I remember why... way over priced. They charged 4 dollars for 4 sticks of asparagus that wasnt prepared properly and still had the woody ends. I will give them a star each for cleanliness, service and flavorful food but 90 bucks for a pork chop, philly cheesesteak sandwich, shrimp and chicken tenders... nope. Maybe I will come back in 15 years after I forget the taste the bill left in my mouth.
This outback was a awful experience for my mothers birthday. The server seemed like she was a new girls so we were patient with her but then she started making it sound like our fault that several orders were wrong and the food was not very good. And when we told her about bad food she just says I wished you would have told me, which I dont know how many times you have to tell someone before their knowledge somethings wrong. Then when she brings the tickets those are wrong and she still makes us feel like its our fault when we finally get our tickets and leave we stand outside to take a picture and we have a server come out to help us take a picture and tell us will its not my job description but Ill take your picture trying to push us out. Very rude and not good food Burleson needs to work on their Outback.
Our waitress was fast, great team work from expos- manager serving our food on time and the place was busy. Onion bloom is amazingly seasoned! Coconut shrimp was yummy. House salad was cold fresh. Entrees of ribeye steak and uncut center of tenderness were cooked to mouthwatering, melt in your seat, perfection!Thank you for such a great experience. Oh the yogurt parfait served in a mason jar felt like a home dessert and was a creamy fruitful delight. Very satisfied. Great experience thank you everyone that waited on my husband and I.
Well this is my first time at this location. I will not be back. The waitress was definitely racist. She was training a guy that was really nice genuinely. She had such a hard time serving that you could tell that she was pushing herself to serve someone black. I really hop that they realize we don’t live in a time where whites only exist. It doesn’t matter if this is a public business for all to eat, you are going to have some people that refuse to serve in all sincerity.
Total bill was 156...Steak medallions were done wrong twice. They have no idea what medium rare is. They sent out well done and dry...... the Lobster cook was fine but it was completely covered in spices making the flavor terribly hot. They sent food out on the wrong plates. They forgot some sides. The fried coconut shrimp breading was soggy. The chicken fried steak was burnt. This was a over all very disappointing visit. The food was over priced. They took off $20.00 for the bad food. Sad considering that all orders had something wrong with them. 3 of 5 plates had several issues. Dont go here....
We were not offered bread. The mashed were dry no gravy. We were charge 4 dollars for Mac cheese no sauce just pasta. We werent told that mac n cheese was extra. The steak was very small over cooked. The onion blossom was small but the price was more than last time. No drink specials. Drink refills were minimal. Will not be going back.

2022-04-22Outback doesnt disappoint. My faves were exactly the way I expected them to be. Its an old favorite of mine for a reason. The main event was the Prime Rib cooked medium and you can never go wrong with that. I asked for some grilled Jalapeños and man between bites of steak, that bright and smoky spiciness is just right. I cant say enough about em. Big ups to Matt, our server for being great. Listen, I went all out in menu selection but it was worth it.

2022-07-12Stopped by this Outback after work the other day for a cocktail and some pasta and was not disappointed. I hadn’t been to a outback in years but this one was great. The bartender Megan was really knowledgeable about the drinks and helpful with what I should get. Two different managers checked on me and the other bar guests and I noticed they were also very attentive to all the customers and were helping their servers out where needed. Will definitely go back for both the drinks and the staff!

2021-09-25Pretty good food. The blooming onion is amazing. The staff is wearing mask but you dont have too and everything else seemed normal as far as covid goes. Wasnt to busy for a Friday night so no crazy wait times.

2022-07-18The food here was delicious. Im a steak fanatic and I enjoyed probably the best steak I ever had here. The service was friendly. The only reason Im giving a 4 star rating instead of 5 is because my drink refills were slow. Overall had a great experience. Will be back.

2022-05-19I ordered one of their seasonal specials. It was fettuccine with grilled shrimp and beef bites on the top. It was wonderful. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the shrimp were well seasoned and not dried out. I had enough left for lunch the next day. I was apprehensive going back since last year everything we ordered was soooo salty (my salad and my daughters mac and cheese, husbands steak). Thought maybe it was their chef at the time. Whoever is cooking now. I hope they keep them.

2022-04-06Been coming here for years, this place really knows how to cook a mean steak!! The bread is incredible and lets not forget about the chocolate thunder for dessert. Aside from the food, the staff is always wonderful and attentive. I love the vibe of this outback location. Always look forward to stopping at this place when passing through Burleson. A+++

2022-02-24The steak and garlic butter were bomb! The blooming onion was so good just really greasy. The sides were meh. Kinda bland really. It tasted good when paired in the same mouthful with the steak. Hubbys burger wasnt anything special either. Its not gross or anything, just a burger. I couldnt eat it all, so once reheated it was still good. Friendly staff as well.

2022-06-21I rate 3 stars. Me and my dad arrived at this outback for a nice Fathers day dinner on June 19, 2022 at 4:30pm. We got sat immediately however we were sitting down watch servers and hosts and all that walking past us for a good 5 or 6 minutes which none of them made eye contact with us or said anything. I would understand if they were busy but they were not. I had got up and asked for some service as we have been sitting for a few minutes. The service we got after we had got a server was great. I ordered the 12 Oz ribbye hoping that at last 6 Oz of was meat. By the time I got done taking all the fat off it was a good 3 Oz of steak. It was good. Me and my dads mash potatoes were cold when served to us. Everything was good and all that. I even ordered a deser to go. Got home and about 30 minutes after getting home I was watching a movie with my dad ehwn my stomach hurt and it was twisting and turning and all that. I got food poisoning from my steak. I rate a 3 stars because of the service I received when I had got there and there only being 3 Oz of meat left on my steak and the food poisoning I had got. Otherwise it would be a good 5 star rating.
