Bed was great, pillows average, room was fine. No breakfast but coffee was provided at the office and not in room. Had to ask for extra towels, but provided with no issues. Great place to sleep, but not to hang out.
Very clean place very friendly clerk idk his name but hes always there at night and he is the best very attentive my card didnt work when I got up to the 3rd floor so I called and instead he told me to wait that he would come up to the 3rd floor and opened my door....and the BEST PART my fur baby was allowed at no extra charge she is a full blooded pitbull her breed is considered aggressive and they do not discriminate BEST LOCATION IVE BEEN TO IF I COULD ID GIVE 5 MORE STARS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! Parking lot is nice and clean and very spacious no kind of drug addicts hanging around no one outside begging very very relaxing location!!!! Rooms are very clean and spacious!!!!! Lovvvveeeee it!!!!
I requested room ahead of time and asked for senior citizens, non-smoking room I did make changes, no excuse to put the room on 3rd floor! We are both in seventies. My husband has severe arthritis on back and walks with a cane and I had a spinal surgery. Also the person at desk was not a welcome host and smiling! We did make it the room but straightened we’d go 2 r 3 steps at a time was horrible! Of course we signed out and went to Super 8 hotel and the receptionist was very nice and got t us what we requested l!
It was the worst place I have ever stayed at. Bath tube doesnt drain. Ice machine doesnt work and hasnt for over 3 days. Someone hit my truck in the parking lot near our room. Lots to say but nothing will get fixed. Staff rude. We wont be back.
Outside of motel is run down. I arrived late with a lot of luggage to unload into the room. I ask the desk person for one of the luggage carts. Looked at my oddly and said they did not have one. Never heard of a motel not having a luggage cart.Room itself was clean. Bed was not lumpy. Having laminate for flooring was a nice touch over typical motel carpet that you have no idea what is in it.
For $55 this room in Humble, Tx was exactly what you at for. A clean room with king sized bed. The linens were older but clean. Bathroom was clean but only soap provided. There was an outdoor pool but the bottom was littered with cigarette butts from guests flicking them off the balcony. Overall it was a clean room and fair price. Pet friendly with no fee.
Over this past weekend my stay was at the humble tx location. The lady at check in was nice. I didnt care to much for using the window instead of going in office. I had a hard time finding the office since there was no visible sign for it the construction wasnt bad except it was to loud to early on a Saturday morning. My sheets on the bed kept coming off since it wasnt a fitted sheet it was just a top sheet laid over the mattress. And the blankets on the bed were very very thin.....
Bad feeling when you pull up and there are bars on windows on some of the rooms. Cigarette burns in the bedding, steps going up to the second and third floors were in bad shape, give up if you want a non smoking room as they are few and far between. Granted they made an attempt to make the rooms look modern but the attempt made is not near enough as ones security is quite questionable at this property. I will not stay here again and discourage families from doing so as well.
The customer service was awful!!! There was no welcome and no smile from the clerk that checked us in and I didnt know about any of the amenities because no one explained them to us. The bathrooms were so small we could not close the door while using the toilet and after showers we had to come out of the bathroom to get dressed. The people next to us was getting high on drugs. The price was great but now I can see why. Very disappointed in Motel 6😠😡
Housekeeping cleans the rooms everyday, especially the ones with pets. Nice housekeeping staff, however not very talkative but only because very few of them actually speak English. Overall Id stay here again and again. Nice place and conveniently located in the midst of several nice eating establishments, my personal favorite saltgrass is right next door.
I made my reservation in Las Vegas 2 weeks prior to my arrival. My wife and I arrive, get our room and we open the door to a room that isnt clean,or prepared. My wife was not happy. I asked the attendant for a refund which I received. The only thing that went right with this experience was the refund. I recommend Super 8 motel. They accommodated us with a very nice room. Our experience with Super 8 was great. I would NEVER recommend Motel 6 again. I was extremely disappointed with the experience .
Ok value for the price. Wifi, fridge, microwave, excellent location in Humble.Nothing fancy but for about 50 bucks a night not too bad. Ill probably stay again for the price, its one of the lowest ones on Expedia..what the heck.
The property looked well presented from outside, although the damaged corridors over reception was disconcerting. There was quite a bit of noise in the early hours of the morning, but fortunately this did not last long.The room was fine but on the departure morning, there was no hot water. All we could get was lukewarm.Told reception on departure but they didnt seem interested. Not what you expect when the price being paid was already twice what the normal rate would have been.(note - the lady on reception on arrival was really helpful and friendly - not true of the young man in reception on departure. My score below is for the lady only)
If you need a reasonable place to lodge, I recommend this place. Very clean room, no pest at all, cable, nice location very close to shopping centers, the mall, grocery stores gas stations and restaurants. Also alot of truckers stay the night her cost about $52 a night!
If youre looking for the best value near the Bush Airport, this Motel 6 is probably it. I travel to Houston every month, and have stayed at a variety of motels. My rate with coupon codes is as low as $44.99/night. Ive never seen a single bug. The showers are virtually spotless, and floors are very clean. My only complaint, and its minor IMO is sometimes the sheets sometimes have burn holes in them, but I can live with that at this price. There are microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms, the pool was clean in summer, and free wifi at this motel! The staff is polite and accommodating as well.
Terrance was awesome at check-in great customer service and very professional. Sabina is a great source of information on local places and events as well as being very guest oriented. Rooms are always clean and smell great. No issues. Very pleased.
I got a non smoking room. And was giving a room that smelled like smoke after I called the front desk and they told me thats the only room they had. That maybe someone didnt follow the rules.The fact the he is trying to act like the room didnt smell or he didnt know its more worry some.Wouldnt recommend staying here at all.Dirty place over all.
Was grateful because the lady gave me a easy axcess first floor room as I was 35 weeks pregnant. ..so trying to get up 2 or 3 stories was NOT an option. Everything in the room was fine. I think its a bad thing there is nasty smoking rooms and you can smell the horrible cigarette smoke in the main office. Also not having an elevator is also a problem for those who cant climb stairs and this should be listed when booking rooms. Because the lady put me on the first the floor and kept me away from the smoking I give it 5 stars. Thanks.
The room reeked of cigarettes. There was an ashtray in the room which was clean, but I did not take notice to the room being a smoking or non smoking room, so I guess this first one is on me. The door to the outside had a portion of the door seal missing so I could see daylight from the inside and a nice below freezing breeze came through into the room. The bed sheet had a hole in it that looked like it was from a burn (maybe a cigarette burn, i dont know). I used to be a smoker and I have nothing against people who smoke but I never understood how to make a room smell that bad. The bathroom door would not latch shut. The retractable latch that is inside the door itself (basically every standard door has these) was broken off on the inside of the door. The water pressure on the shower was not amazing but I guess that was the least of my worries. I came to Houston to transport a dog for an animal shelter and having no prior knowledge of the city maybe I just picked a really bad part of town and this is par for the course in that neighborhood, but I was pretty surprised at how bad it was. Ive stayed at Motel 6s before and none of the other ones have been this shady.
Id say its an ok spot to stay a night or two if your a local. Not really somewhere Id pick to stay if I was on vacation or something. I do however like the location because your not right off the highway, but its kinda confusing if you dont know where it is already.
Awesome value siper nice people, they will definitly take good care of ylu highly recommend you choose if traveling cause its safe, clean, affordable, and they allowed pets no problem at all!!!!!
Have stayed in many Motel 6 across the country and this one was by far the Cleanest & quiet Location was perfect for my trip. Close to Rest. ,& Best buy/Home Depot etc. All walkable.
We unexpectedly had to vacate our home and chose to stay at this motel due to the price and location. It was inexpensive and they had a room available at 8pm. The room looked like an inexpensive motel room. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.
I was fooled by all the positive reviews for this motel. What a big mistake. I stayed here because it’s close to IAH airport. The non-smoking room I got stank like smoke. There were burn marks on the table, which also wasnt clean. At midnight the couple in the room beside mine started fighting. When they started banging on the wall, I asked the manager if I could have another room. He said he would call and tell them to stop. The woman left. The man looked like a tweaker who was high on drugs and he started hanging out on the balcony outside my door talking loudly on his phone. By this time it was 2 AM.I called the manager back. Again he said he would deal with it. Later the manager called and said the guy was not answering his room phone and he was uncomfortable going upstairs to talk to him. Since I was a solo female, I was afraid to leave my room at this point. Manager called the cops. Police showed up and did nothing but tell tweaker to be quiet. Anyone with an ounce of sense could see this guy was high on meth. Less than an hour later tweaker was visited by another tweaker and they stood outside my door again talking loud. After the friend left the guy started up on his phone again. By this time it was 3:45 AM. I was fed up, I packed my stuff and left without saying anything to the manager. If he had just found me a different room like Id asked for in the first place, I likely wouldnt be writing this now. Don’t stay in any cheap motels near IAH. Its not worth it.
Not great experience. Room was mediocre at best staff very rude and not helpful when we couldnt get our things together fast enough we were trying to book another night since it seemed they were empty we were told they needed the room and were hateful about whole situation. Not very clean, not good location
Rooms are Super Clean. Top to Bottom. Bed sheets clean, towels, floor, shower was clean but weak water pressure. nice flat screen tvs. Fridge and microwave in room.
Im rating the Motel 6 located in Humble, Texas near the Houston IAH airport. Ive stayed so many times that the very amicable lady at the front desk knows me by name. The pool is nice and clean during the summers, and the rooms are clean as well. I have never seen any kind of bug at this particular motel 6, and I do check for bedbugs. The free WIFI is great to have, as are the mini fridges and microwave. You cant beat the price, which has been as low as $43, and never over $50 a night with taxes. A washer and drier is available for clothes, but youll need to bring detergent, and vending machines and free ice available as well. Its in close proximity to the airport, and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the Deerbrook Mall with an AMC theater. I would only stay somewhere else if this motel were sold out! Great value and amenities, with CLEAN, bug-free rooms!
This is where Ill stay the next time I need an overnight in Humble and have a trlr with me. The night manager/clerk went above and beyond to accommodate my needs including coming outside and moving his personal vehicle and spotting for me as I parked. Very pleased.
The room was decent overall for the price point. however, we were extremely disappointed with the level of communication among the staff. after being granted a late check-out (noon), we were repeatedly harassed regarding when we would leave (thus mooting the point of the late check-out). it is very unlikely that we will return.
Its a good hotel. The staff is accommodating and the room, as well as the surroundings, is clean. The hotel is pet friendly which is a big plus for me. I will definitely come back. Its worth your money.
It was available when I had to evacuate for the flash flood. Water pressure was terrible, disgusting burn marks everywhere, blood stains on beds, 3rd floor and had to go up and down stairs to retrieve ice at front office. Girlfriend tripped and hurt herself on broken walkway. Very disappointed but grateful.
Bare bones place to sleep. No shampoo, no lotion, no Kleenex, I had to ask for clothes hangers only to be told they didnt have any. Some hangers showed up by the 2nd night - after a complaint
Had a good stay, rooms were clean and the king size bed was awesome!! Housekeeping came by to offer clean towels and very friendly. Thank you once again.
EVERYTHING was perfect except that the edge of the matress was hard but it didnt affect the rest of the matress. Its nice to be able to travel with your pets. The room was truly a NON-SMOKING ROOM too. I will stay there again.
Room wasnt the best, no breakfast, it was cheap but they guy had a hard time running my card... Took fifteen minutes to pay when its a newer card with more then enough money on it. My only complaint was the card fiasco. Other then that, worth the money.
I told management about bed bugs and nothing wasnt done. At checkout I was to they were going to get an exterminator to come check it out and give me a call and/or email to let me know what happen. I havent heard anything after we checked out. Then they said I was going to be refunded on the room but that too never happened.
MILITARY DISCOUNT!!!! Me and my 2 teenage kids were there after driving all day... We had a double room... 2 queen sized beds, table with 2 chairs, long desk with dresser and shelf, tall ceilings, closet space.. The room is huge and clean... And Wonderful!
The exterior was receiving a long overdue paint and repair job, so I asked to see a room before I rented. The rooms looked good and smelled clean, so I stayed for several days.
Air conditioner was loud we were put on the top floor my wife has problems going upstairs seems like management does not care about people with disabilitys no ground or 2nd floor rooms available due to Imelda seems like the management team could do more instead of putting overnight people all the top floor they need better plan of action they need to move the people on 1st floor to 3rd floor unless they have a disability of some sort and they need a frist floor room they should be on the 3rd and second floor complete waste of money had better stays at other motel 6 propertys not to mention the beds were much more comfortable at the the other motel six properties weve stayed at before the bed was hard as a rock very uncomfortable other properties are nice and soft and comfortable this property is rundown and needs a major overhaul seriously outdated rooms
Just like the reviews I read before booking this place it was nice, clean, quiet and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is no little bottle of shampoo.
The room was exactly what you would expect from a Motel 6. The walls were thick enough that you couldnt hear the room next door (which was a good thing for us because she was a moaner once she got my b*ner). All and all of you need a room
This is the worst experience of a motel 6 I have ever experienced. After checking I noticed that one bed had burn holes & the other had stains. I then requested new sheets & was given 3 new sheets. Those sheets also had burn holes & stains. Then I was awaken to small roaches crawling in my bed. I immediately let Barry at the front desk know & he threatened that if I called corporate he would not be able to give an $11 discount on the room. I opted to call corporate instead. Also the small fridge hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The freezer part had something spilled. See videos below. I recorded with Snapchat so the one that showed in detail all the stains & burn holes deleted but I’m sure you get the gist.
The best Hotel Ive ever stayed at was the Holiday Inn express and I tell you this place comes in a very close second. I mean the rooms are spacious and the colors are uplifting. Truly great place to stay at.
Clean rooms;standard mattress; standard Wi-Fi; refrigerator; microwave; TV had snowy picture. Clean towels and hot shower. The hotel was in the process of renovations. Friendly staff.

They only had one room and it was a room where you can smoke. I was very surprised because it was very clean and it didnt smell like smoke, i was able to sleep comfortable.
Horrible. Front desk gave me a room that was left vacant and then another guest opened our door. They later called the cops on us and woke us up saying we werent suppose to be here. This was just hours after we checked in. Worse experience from a hotel stay.
The only reason my ranking is so high is because the front desk staff were amazing.housekeeping was super friendly . The only thing i have a complaint on is the manager blocking me from staying there because a meth head who has been there for two years said i was shooting green lasers threw his door.,bad call motel 6 in time you will see....
I had a terrible experience in A Marysville motel 6 and swore I would never go to a motel 6 again, but Houstons Motel 6 brought us back k. Many thanks as we have been avid people at your locations in Utah, Florida, California and Washington for 26 years.
Great for the price, I was put on 3rd floor and only gripe was the ice machine on 1st floor ONLY. NO breakfast. Overall worth the money, clean and no problems, and Wifi was great.
I stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms were clean and the wifi worked, what more can you ask for?

Very clean room but the bed is horrible...mattress old u can feel the springs...sheets crawling off the bed...we tossed and turned all night...slept horrible...our backs are killing us!

Save you money and go elsewhere. This place is terrbile. My wife and I got head lice from this filthy place. They practically never clean and if they do its shoddy. Please save yourself a headache and just spend a few dollars more for somewhere decent.
Well to start this conversation..we got kicked out of the room for having propane tanks..which I use for catering..instead of them asking me too remove them..they kicked us out for that reason...very unprofessional young guy at the front desk...so I probably will never return nor recommend anyone to your location..my wife got rushed to the hospital so the room had clothes on the bed and a few dishes that day but we cleaned our own room everyday.

2021-05-01At the front desk I felt that the manager was a little lacking in professionalism. But he was accommodating. The room was reasonably clean. The bed was hard like sleeping on a board. But overall.... It was still a decent stay. I would recommend.

2018-04-13Great staff, very clean owners, staff, and rooms. Rooms are remodeled and in very good condition despite the exterior of the hotel and nothing is broken or damaged in the rooms. Even great water pressure from the shower! They have new, comfortable beds and pillows, flat screen TV show, microwaves, and mini fridges in every room. Plus the air conditioners/heaters work very well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people constantly!

2020-06-29I have stayed in over 80 Motel 6s in the past few years. This one is in the Top 10.I stayed in this motel for 4 nights.The staff were polite and helpful. Tim, the manager, got me the room on the floor I requested.The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great and was quiet.Other guests, with the exception of a couple, were basically quiet and orderly. No major problems with rowdy guests. There were no gunshots at night.There was a railroad track about 200 yards away but the train ran only during the day and was not a noise nuisance.Airplanes taking off and landing at Intercontinental Airport were noticeable only in the early morning. No nighttime jet engine noise.The internet was fast and reliable. I needed it for a project I was working on and used it a lot.My only concern was that the motel suspended coffee service due to the Covid outbreak. This is the first Motel 6 I have stayed at that did not have free coffee in the morning, but I understand that other Motel6s are also suspending coffee service due to the virus.It was a very pleasant 4 day stay and I will stay here in the future.

2019-10-11It was good for the price but I am disabled and the room was up three floors the toilet backed up and I had to ask twice for a plunger. Also the AC was old and it made a large noise and took a while to get cool. Management could not change my room to a downstairs room and my husband had a big tote dolly with our stuff on it to carry three flights of stairs

2019-11-03I have to begin this mentioning that this place is a MOTEL. This is not at HOTEL. So it works for its purpose. I stayed there one night and it was good. The rooms are decent size and clean the same as the bathroom. Linen are clean the same as towels. The only thing is that they allow to smoke inside the rooms. The have ashtrays inside the rooms but the problem is that the smoke stays I side the room and event thou the room was spotless the smell was a little bit intense. Overall, the value of what I paid for was good.

2018-01-135 stars all the way! I was beyond pleased with this MOTEL?! It was a comfortable feeling knowing that they accommodated my family on such short notice. The concierge was very quick and pleasant to speak to. Although only smoking rooms were available- my family and I were not off-put with the faint smell of cigarette usage. My room: 228 was very well maintained. They have HARD WOOD floors with 11am check out. They’ve made a returning client out of me. (Keep in mind they were the only reasonably priced lodging at 3:30am and I felt relieved at the sleeping conditions...compared to most locations in that area) VERY SATISFIED=rooms were spacious, secured parking and NO bed bug problems

2017-05-09The overall hotel itself was very clean from the room to the pool area and grounds. Some remodeling was in process on the outside which is always an improvement. The office staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. As far as location goes, seem difficult to get to, even using GPS. A lot of up and over highway and turns, never noticed hotel from highway like I do others. Many restaurants and shopping areas close by. The only real improvement I would suggest is the shower in the room. Water pressure very low, took awhile to get soap out of hair and body. Hot water is more like warm water. Shower curtain didnt hold water in very well, had to put towels down to soak up water on floor. Very pleased that hotel offered SMOKING rooms with king size bed. Not very many hotels offer smoking rooms which makes it very difficult to really enjoy room and stay. I would recommend this hotel to someone based on cleanilyness, friendly staff and a fair reasonable price.

2017-06-26My room was clean, no noise except for cars passing by. Big King size bed, flat screen, mini fridge, and microwave. They have a swimming pool but I didnt indulge; nothing bad to say I just didnt feel like swimming.....I recommend

2017-05-30My son and I have stayed at this Motel 6 many, many times. We have never had any problems. I always request a bottom floor, non-smoking room. This time I got a second floor room, but cant complain since I waited too long to make my reservation. We will continue staying at Motel 6 when we travel to the Humble area. We enjoy staying there and it is close to all we do on our visits.

2018-03-06Great hotel, very friendly staff. They are very security aware. I had failed to leave the name of my dog show friend with the desk and even though they knew she was coming, they still called me to verify before giving her a key. This was exactly the correct thing to do. Only down side was the water pressure in the shower was low, I did report it and they said it would get fixed. I will definitely would stay there again.
