For three years I have been working on a note card project. Terri, the owner of Paper Arts has supported every step of my journey. From what I recently learned at the DC Fountain Pen Super Show.... Paper Arts has products that are strictly the top of world class. The very best thing is that the owners knowledge is equal to her finest international products. Terri is fondly known to me as The Paper Goddess. Terry and the gang at PaperArts are TERRIFIC! Its the only resource of its kind Ive ever stumbled upon. I absolutely love going into the store and looking at all of the paper. Its true that you could while away the entire day just drinking in the incredible variety of stock they have. Its a little challenging to get to the location, but its quirky and down-to-earth, the way an art store should be. If you want corporate-franchise-leve-sterility, this isnt the place for you. PaperArts is a boutique catering to the love of print, sculpture and anything else you can do with a sheet of paper. I cant imagine what my paper-using life was like before discovering this gem. Patronize them soon and often, lets keep these kinds of businesses thriving!
Teri and the other person thats there(forgot the name sorry) are incredibly knowledgable in there products and mediums can be used on them. Teri has an adorable little dog around the shop too. Neverve had an issue with anything. If youre looking for a huge variety of paper and great quality, this is your place NOT michaels
This place is a hidden gem in the Dallas area. Wonderful unique handmade paper hard to find paper for wrapping gifts doing crafts and a must see for artists.
A neat specialty shop. Origami paper, bookmaking supplies, beautiful imported papers, vellums, printmaking workshop... So many nifty paper art supplies.
Love it here! This is the only print shop in Dallas AND the only place in Dallas that carries Gamblin printmaking products. A must stop for paper lovers and printmakers

2022-09-20I love Paper Arts! I recently attended a book binding workshop there and Terri, the owner, was kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. They have a nice selection of beautiful papers and other materials in a quaint shop.

2022-05-30Not even a one star. Extremely rude. I was about to go check out the store pulled up with my brother want even outside 2 minutes before she told my sister about the parking. Continued to take out her phone and take pictures of the vehicle lol all while I was on Google looking to see before I went in. Paper looked cool but definitely wouldnt consider coming here just from that treatment. 😅 sorry lady thats not how you get customers. No wonder why your store is so dead. Never coming back and I will be letting everyone know what kind of a rude bickering woman you are. Taking pics of cars like that go get a life.

2022-01-28Highly recommend this store for art paper. The selection is not monetarily cheap, but very comprehensive, and the owner is beyond knowledgeable. Left equipped with all the tools I needed.

2022-08-26Excellent selection of handmade paper imported from around the world. Cold press watercolor paper, colored envelopes, printmaking materials, Japanese calligraphy brushes.. this place has it! Lovely place run by genuine people.

2021-09-20The woman who runs this store is very rude and took a picture of our car because we didnt see the sign about the parking space. The store was closed and we did double check Google to be sure. The parking lot is small and there are other establishments sharing it. She claimed that there were 7 labeled spaces but we only saw 3. When we tried to explain that we didnt see the sign. This woman was incredibly disrespectful even as we were preparing to move the car. I was a potential customer with interest in buying my supplies from here. I would have gone in if it didnt say that the store was CLOSED. All in all not a person I would give money to.

2016-04-29I don’t normally write negative reviews on small business because of how it could affect their business. Unfortunately, today I had a bad experience at Paper Arts. Ive now gone to this store three times and have had the same type of experience. The employee there was extremely pushing and rude about me handling the paper. I understand paper is extremely fragile but that doesn’t give you the right to talk down to me and make me feel bad for looking at your product. I am there to spend money, hard earned money. I understand the products that I am buying or I would not be going to a store for speciality paper. I will not be returning to this store, I feel as though my money is not good enough. Also, sun-damaged and old torn edged should not cost 25 dollars...that makes no sense.I will give Paper Arts some credit, they have a good selection of paper available for purchase. It may be too costly but its a good selection.

2018-05-17This place has a fantastic selection of paper. If youre just looking for something to run through your ink jet printer, this may not be the place for you. If you want paper made from different materials or woods, handmade paper, paper with unique prints, or even some huge paper, this is the place to go.

2018-04-06Knowledgeable friendly staff! Great selection of artists papers, that you can’t find elsewhere. Will definitely be back! The owner made paper cranes with us; so much fun! Bring the kids.
