I have so many questions and can never get ahold of anyone. I leave a voice-mail, and never get called back. Ive called tons of times today and it seems like they dont really care. 3 stars because I cant speak on anything outside the people who never answer the phones.
HONEST REVIEW:I recently moved out of The Parallax of Georgetown Apartments and it has been an up and down experience. When I originally moved in back in November, I had the pleasure of working w/ Daniel and Richie who made the process of signing the lease AMAZING! I’m a transplant from Miami and Daniel and Richie made every thing great including my move over to TX.Somewhere along the line of me staying in the apartments the front office staff was changed completely and Daniel and Richie were no longer there. New office staff was placed and they are nice and really try to work on customer satisfaction especially Katherine and Kendra.Besides the nice front office staff. The apartments themselves are subpar and headquarters is TERRIBLE! While staying here my car was broken into, someone damaged my bf’s car and I had the worse experience with making payments online. If you plan on moving here please make sure you take pictures of your monthly rent at the time of payment because the system loves issuing late fees for a bill that has been paid. KEEP TRACK OF EVERY PAYMENT!This was my first apartment and for the most part it’s been an ok experience. I’m only giving 2 stars for the front office everything else is 👎
Management here is subpar at best. We’ve been attempting to get in contact with them for over a week now with no response. There is a roach infestation that nobody will take care of. The apartment hired exterminator is very nice but he only comes once a week... if that. Our washers and dryers were broken by repairmen after the winter storm. Very ironic. Despite this they were not repaired to working order for close to a month. Even after they were “fixed” it was bad quality work and they just broke again. No access to water for weeks after the storm with only pool water offered by management. Luckily the nearby church stepped in and brought drinking water. Management took their sweet time repairing pipes and the last building was completed a week after they started the first building.Roofs and walls are thin so hearing neighbors is a constant. The dog park is nice.
By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.Parking is a joke, if you get home after 7 be prepared to park in front of the office and walk. They refuse to do a parking permit so the lot is full of either work vehicles, cars that never move, or people letting their friends park at the building when the need a place to store their car.You will almost never get a real person when you call. Ive called corporate multiple times, they dont call you back.Have not had water running water to my building for over 9 days now. They turned the water on knowing they had not fixed a leak in my apartment and flooded it again and when I asked about who was going to replace my damaged furniture they told me to call my renters insurance even though they are the ones that Intentionally flooded it.During the big snow/freeze weather event nobody bothered removing any of the ice or snow off the sidewalks making it safe to walk on nor did they even bother putting out any salt. I watched multiple people fall and get hurt. After being without water for over a week they still have not provided anyone with drinking water but said we could use the pool water, thats real generous of you.I asked about getting out of my lease since they cant seem to remotely care about the residents or their well being and provide some drinking water and I was ignored. There are better apartments around Georgetown that truly care about the residents.Side note, the maintenance staff are absolutely awesome. You just mentions something to a guy driving past on a golf cart and it will be taken care of super quick.Update 3-9Management still has not called me back and I left 2 messages about still not having hot water in my bathroom sink and still have not gotten a call back from management about getting out of my lease since all of these things either can’t be fixed or addressed. Management obviously does not care but it’s funny they left a comment saying to reach out to them but they don’t call back?
First experience- I called the office to check the rates and availability for leasing. I spoke with Richie who was insightful and efficient! He gave me the correct information and set me up for a self guided tour the following day.Second experience- I arrived to the community to complete my self guided tour the following day. The property was well maintained, neighborhood quiet and overall a beautiful complex. I entered the unit and it was amazing. It had everything that I needed and more! It did not disappoint at all.Third experience- I called the office and Richie sent me the quote for the unit along with the application. He explained the process and it was seamless. I applied and he let me know that my husband and I were approved. He explained the next steps and set the expectation clearly from that point.Fourth experience- I pay all the fees and prorated rent, get a welcome letter and keys. The unit was just as nice and clean as the one that I toured. I felt so welcomed by neighbors offering to help and also introducing themselves. This has to be the best complex that I have ever done business with since living on my own as an adult! I called Daniel in the front office and he confirmed our storage unit info. Once again, this was the second office staff that I encountered that was friendly and went above and beyond regarding my concerns. They are all so helpful and genuine! I honestly could live here forever! The property is well kept and in such a secluded area. I never knew that Georgetown was so peaceful and serene. I love it here! I love my neighbors and the complex!
First the apartments have been horrible during this winter storm. I was displaced for over a week due to no water and would like to be prorated on rent. My washer was left on my patio with no real date on when they will be repaired. I was so disappointed that during the winter storm they left with no notice and didnt even try to salt the streets so I slid in my vehicle trying to escape. They are horrible with communication unless you ask. I moved in this apartment and my tub was a mess. My restroom sinks dont drain water and my ceiling fan in the master bedroom doesnt work. I get it, its COVID, but there are amenities I paid for (business room and cafe express) that I dont even get to use. Parking is a joke. I dont mind parking anywhere, but there is no point in having covered parking and. NO ONE even used them. So Im left parking across the apartment complex and walking back with my children.
We have lived at Parallax Apartments for 2 years. We started on the 3rd floor and have just recently transferred to the 1st floor with a yard. We have never had any issues with the apartments or the community. There are pros and cons to every community. The only con we had while living on the 3rd floor was that parking by our building was really bad and it was a fight to find and get a parking spot close to the building. The Pros: landscaping is kept very neat and clean. Maintenance always responds to work orders in a timely manner and updates you as to what was done or what needs to be done. The office staff is always ready to help with anything and is always very friendly when talking with you.The pool and the fitness center are always clean and ready to use, given the current circumstances, and there are BBQ grills around the pool and everything is always accessible.I have never lived at an apartment complex for so long and really enjoyed it. I would recommend this community for friends and family. They do resident events to help bring us together, but have had to cancel due to the current circumstances with COVID.
This apartment has given me issues since day one. They make you pay for a parking spot and I still see others complaining about no parking. No one has worked in the office all year and rarely answer your calls. They have the thinnest walls, floors, and ceilings I’ve ever seen. I listened to a child run and stomp above me for almost a year and had to deal with the person below me complaining they could hear the kid running. I didn’t think they could get any worse but then Texas got a little snow... I’ve been displaced from my apartment for over a month, and was ignored for weeks about the situation. Still had to pay my rent, water, electricity(even though we haven’t had it!) Previous to the situation, I didn’t have AC for almost a month due to the maintenance workers. I was mansplained and told my AC didn’t work because “it was cold outside” Several times they said they needed to order parts but finally a new maintenance guy a flipped a switch to turn it back on...I just want out!!
Sadly due to covid-19 my roommate and I have had our jobs relocated and have had to break our lease & move out. So before we go I wanted to leave a authentic review how it’s been living here for a year for future residents! It’s an incredible safe community and very peaceful and quite for the most part. Everyone here is very respectful as neighbors and a community, and the staff/front office are incredible! Especially Lauren Black in the front, so incredibly thankful for all she’s done for my roommate and I! If you’re young in your 20’s, or even older I would recommend this place! We have some awesome older neighbors we had the pleasure of living next door to. Just don’t take a few bad reviews over all the amazing ones for this complex, it’s really been a blessing! Sad to leave but thankful for the year we had & memories! -Building 13
Terrible customer service. We have had two billing issues where payments do not get processed due to IT issues on their end and then they added late fees and most recently an eviction notice taped to our door while we had left two unanswered messages trying to resolve why payment won’t go through. Have had fees added for packages that needed to be picked up (that were not even ours) and had to fuss multiple times to get that credited. And the storm situation ... 10 days without water and still no washer and dryer after almost a month. When we call we are told they don’t know how to fix whatever the issue is and we are treated as if we somehow are to blame for their IT or human mistakes. People make mistakes but work with your tenants to get issues resolved and don’t hide behind corporate BS. UPDATE: after about a week the manager called us back about the billing issue and was actually very nice and the issue was handled. The original phone call exchanges with the other employee where horrible, but the manager got it all fixed. I took it from 1 star to 2 due to fact issue was resolved ( after a week of insults and unnecessary friction with other employee).
I was looking for the number to call maintenance and got side tracked on reading these reviews. I personally have had a great experience with Parallax. The unit we live in was clean with some pretty nice amenities. If and when we do have a maintenance issue, the staff is very prompt to address the issue. I do not believe weve ever waited over 24 hours to have something fixed. The office staff is always very polite and helpful. There are some fees that you can not get away from but they are not extremely expensive fees. Overall I would recommend the Parallax apartments to friends and family. Oh and the community events they hold almost biweekly, it seems at times, are awesome.
Well it was almost 5 starts before this snow storm. No one was out de-icing or shoveling snow from walkways. They did not pro-actively turn off the water when they knew we were getting sub zero temperatures. After the pipes froze they shut off water and then tried to turn them on during a day with a high temp of 43, when they turned it on while the pipes were still frozen it caused pipes to burst. Fortunately I wasn’t one of those apartments but many people’s places flooded and I’m currently on day 10 without water, can’t shower, can’t cook many foods, can’t wash clothes, can’t clean dishes, have to carry water from the swimming pool to my apartment just to flush toilets. A local church had to bring water in cause they didn’t do anything, then when that water ran out they said they’d call the church for a refill. Rather than spend some money on buying cases of water for all of us, when I called them out on this they did go get cases of water but additionally have not offered any sort of rent discount for their negligence. Simply saying nothing was their fault and that they are dealing with the water issue in a timely manner, almost half a month without water is timely? I see more people here demoing apartments and walls then I see plumbers.Tristan R.
No where to park... ever.. everyone hits your car door when you find a spot because the spots are entirely too small to park in. Pool has been closed for over a year now... no one returns phone calls EVER or emails. And the way they handled the winter storm is unforgivable. Id give it 0 stars if I could. Definitely do not recommend
In the beginning, I gave 5 stars and left it at that. I didnt want to brag and jinx it. Now that Ive lived in these apartments since last October, I feel it is the respectful thing to speak my mind about living at the Parallax.Nothing has changed, they have remained as awesome as always. Admin and Maintenance have even handled Covid in a spectacular way. Id like to be able to use the gym past the hours of 10 - 4 and the pool being closed makes me sad -but- that is what we have to deal with to get past this pandemic, I suppose. This property is one safest Ive lived in and the neighbors that weve met are incredible.Though everyone pretty much minds their own business, there is still a solid community vibe and the doggos are treated like royalty.Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, its enjoyable to live here.
I’ve lived at Parallax for almost two years now and I love it! Maintenance is amazing, they always take care of any work orders I have either that day or the very next, they’re always professional and very nice. The office staff is super friendly and take care of any concerns I have quickly. I love the package lockers, especially since I order from amazon all the time, and the pool is so pretty!!
Living at Parallax is exactly what I would want apartment living to be like. Great response time, in my experience, to service requests/work orders. Management has been helpful and communicative during the pandemic which I appreciate. Honestly my favorite extra additive is the valet trash service, seeing as I am lazy and appreciate them taking the trash to the dumpster for me.
The new lawn mowers are not good, they leave grass all over the back porch, they dont blow it off the old ones used to. These ones just blow grass on your furniture, your car and just go.... i used to like this place but since the new management took over its been slow....
Ive lived in these apartments for several months and absolutely LOVE living here. When I first did a walk through and had questions the staff was very nice and polite. I am very pleased to say their friendly and professional attitudes have not changed in the months that I have lived here. The pool is always clean when I go by , sadly I work night shift and havent gotten many chances to swim and the grass is always green and no signs of trash. Vantage is Pet friendly and everyone knows I love my dogs, so that is a huge plus to anyone who has pets. I highly recommend my apartments to all my friends and family. I am very sadden at all the negative remarks but with their attitudes and horrible remarks I am happy they are no longer living in my apartments. Please meet the staff and do a walk through and be a judge yourself before listening to somebody with so much negatively and dare I say hatred in their hearts. Again I highly recommend and enjoy living here!!
I have lived here for several years now and have been very happy overall. The staff is friendly and there have been continuous improvements made to amenities. I appreciate that they also try to have several social events each month. It is very thoughtful. My only two issues are parking - it seems like we are always fighting over spots in front of my building; cant speak for the entire complex - and the hard floors on the third floor. I have had several neighbors upstairs and they always sound like the are exercising horses and elephants. I am sure they arent intentionally stomping, there is just no sound muffling in place.Other than that, I would reccomend this place to anyone. Georgetown is such a great town to live in and the apartment is just minutes from everywhere you would want to go. :)
No concern for people’s living conditions.I have been unable to live in my apartment for a month now because the had to demolish EVERYTHING, and they are still charging rent. No one has been given any time line or notice as to when repairs are happening. It is nearly impossible to contact any management, and is Impossible to get a straight answer for any questions. They won’t give me any information on how to get out of my lease so I’m stuck paying for an uninhabitable construction site. Hundreds of people’s lives have been turned upside down and BH Management is just taking our money and hanging us out to dry. They have insurance to cover loss of income too, but they want to collect what they can.
Very disappointed in the maintenance services I recently received, and no one here pretty much seems to care. I regret signing a new lease, and I hope and pray that this property gets new management that will actually take care of the residents. I knew things were going down hill when the neighbors downstairs requested an emergency work order for a water leak, and the maintenance guy came to my door in the middle of the night at 10:30pm last weekend. They kept their promise to hire a plumber (contractor, not part of the property) but the plumber and his crew skipped out on the job saying it was a bigger job than they thought all for a broken water pipe under my kitchen sink. Its been nearly 4 days now without running water in my kitchen and I cant even use my dishwasher either because of this mess!I continuously asked the property managers each day for an update on the new plumber that was scheduled to come out yesterday to finish the job, and they said they werent aware of the situation and to contact maintenance on the app!First off, the Rent Cafe app that I have on my phone doesnt allow me to message anyone, it just allows me to pay my bill. Second, I have to login to the resident portal on the website just to message someone there in maintenance for a valid response since no one bothers to communicate with each other.I feel bad for whoever the new guy will be in this apartment, because it was gotten out of control here smh...*Update: They fixed the broken pipe issue 5 days later
The rooms and amenities are excellent for the price, in terms of both quality and square footage. Ive been here for a couple weeks now, and very pleased. The staff have been courteous and helpful, as well. Particularly Traci, who was the very first person to greet me when I walked into the lease office on the first day, saw me through the whole process of applying, and continues to go out of her way to make sure everything is going well for me.The pool and Starbucks coffee machine are great social focal points in the community, too.
We have lived here for almost a year, we have loved it. Our AC went out a couple weeks ago, Russ the service manager went above and beyond to make sure we had fans until our unit came in. Service like that is the reason we resigned another year. Thank you Russ and the management team.
If your youre looking for a great place to live in the Georgetown area, take advantage of a tour of Vantage at Georgetown. Its a wonderful place staffed with a great group of helpful, friendly people, with very welcoming spirits. When I enter the office its not like l have entered a business, but like I have come home. Youre always greeted with a smile by Annie, Traci or Alicia and offered help with whatever your need is and if theres no need...youre offered a cup of coffee and a pleasant conversation. In the last month or so there has been quite a few welcoming changes. I just want to note that, they havent gone unnoticed, so I applaud whomever is responsible. However its bitter sweet for me, because Ive had to seek residence closer to my place of employment. However, I take this time to thank the staff at Vantage for making my transition to Texas and my 13 month stay at Vantage at Georgetown the best ever.To the staff continued success and best wishes to those of you perspective new tenants.
We have lived here for about 4 months while we look for a home to purchase. We love it here, the neighborhood is nice and safe. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff has went above and beyond to help us in any way. I just adore Annie she has helped me from printing documents, to giving me directions on where things are around town and in austin and is always so nice to me. I also love the newest addition to the office, she is very sweet. This place has made our transition from out of state very easy and we appreciate it.
Parallax has been so far my favorite apartment I have lived in in my 6 years of apartment living. It is not perfect, no place really is, but I honestly could not be more pleased with my decision to lease with Parallax. Here are the two main cons I have: the leasing process wasnt the best experience. It was a lot of back and forth with the leasing agent trying to get all of the documents, they were extremely hard to reach over the phone, and I felt like I was given conflicting information as to what documents I needed etc, but I think this was mainly due to the leasing agent being confused, I believe she was new. The second con would be that my roommate and I often have bugs in our apartment. I think this is unit specific: we have a unit on the first floor with a backyard and facing the outside of the property which is just a bad combo. We have friends that live in a different building that dont have any pest issue.Valet trash and covered carport are mandatory fees in your rent which can be annoying, but its a really nice service to have. The pros: I LOVE the facilities, the wooden floors, the nest thermostat, and I love the fact that we have a backyard! (Not all units do) It makes apartment living feels a little more homey! The complex also has a dog park and a great pool area with hammocks. The gym is on the small side, but it has the basics. I also really like the price, I think its affordable and really worth it.I have the master bedroom in the 2 BR floorplan and my walk in closet is huge and so is my bath tub, I have two windows that give to our backyard and let in lots of light, I love it!But what really blows my mind about Parallax though is the maintenance. Russ is A-MA-ZING!!!! Super timely, polite, and just overall a really nice guy. Never have I lived in an apartment where maintenance came so fast, yall. I have never made a request that took more than 24hr to be completed. One time my roommate and I accidentally chipped the paint off our accent wall in the living room, so we put a maintenance request to have it painted over thinking it probably wouldnt get done but why not try, and they actually came and did it!!Yesterday I had an issue with our heater and I placed a maintenance request that I labeled as urgent given the freezing temperature, Russ came knocking on the door within literally 5 MINUTES of me placing the request and spent a lot of time trying to problem solve through the issue, did not give up, and eventually got it figured out !!! We make pest control requests every 3 months or so and they are always done super quick!I also love that management take the time to plan monthly events for residents! I havent attended any due to my busy schedule, but I love that they do that. One time they even gave us free breakfast in the driveway!I have lived here since June of last year and will be moving out in July because I am moving back to Houston, but I would highly recommend this place! It is really close to the Texas State campus (if youre a PT student looking for an apartment, this is the perfect place for you! :) ). I gave it a 5 star review regardless of the cons because its simply the best place Ive lived in, and after reading the bad reviews I think it deserved wayyyy better.
This is a great complex for college students or young couples with pets, if you arent sensitive to noise. The units themselves look nice on the inside, though I wish the kitchen sink were full-sized and the blinds were able to stand up to occasional opening and closing without snapping...The complex allows large dogs which is rare, and is a great place to live if you have pets. They have a dog park and dog wash station that comes in handy. The manager has changed a few times since Ive been here but Ive always had a great experience with them, and if they ever made a mistake they were quick to correct it. They are really good about hosting community events such a BBQs and smore nights that bring the community together. The walls are a bit thin, so dont expect total silence beside or above you. Some of the units, including the one I was in, have decently sized yard for your dog to play in, which is really nice and something I havent seen at many other complexes. This was my first home away from home while in college and I had a great first apartment experience here. Now that Ive graduated and have a larger income, we will be moving to a more upscale community, but reccommend the complex nonetheless.
I moved in May and had a slight hiccup, but after speaking with the property manager, everything was corrected and now my son and I are very happy living here. The manager went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed to enjoy our time here and I see her do it when other tenants walk in. There have been some really rude people - like one tenant that actually posted on here claiming the manager was racist. I can say that is NOT true and the lady flipped out for no reason...she did not like the answer that was given so she turned it around and tried to turn it into a race issue....a little immature and sad. I have met some really nice people here, I have a 5 year old and he loves it. The pool is amazing and soon as I step out of my vehicle in the afternoon, I hear laughter and kids playing, makes me smile each time knowing people are genuinely having a good time! Do not listen to the rude comments, use your own judgment and think how illegal it would be if the manager evicted someone just as this rude lady claims...but yeah, some people right?! LOL - oh and they have awesome events for tenants!!This is a NEW property and with any new properties, there are going to be kinks and things to fix....the team at Vantage works VERY hard at correcting the kinks and making everyone happy. I remember when my ex and I purchased our new home, it was literally just built and there were soooo many things that I had to get them to come fix...it happens. These people do the best they can with what they are given, so I applaud them all for their work and thankful that they just dont go around evicting people because they feel like it. :)Brandy
When I lived here, the community was very nice and quiet. However, when I moved out, the management screwed me over. They owed me $174 (I have a recording of the property manager admitting to this) and sent me to collections saying I didnt pay rent. I opened up a case with the BBB and Parallax never responded to my complaint. Do not live here. It isnt worth your time being cheated. Just living here can mess up your credit even when you paid your rent on time every month.Edit -- A couple months later, the new management refunded me the amount that was owed and withdrew me from collections. They were very pleasant to work with.
THANK GOD FOR TRACII normally dont do reviews, however I need to rave about my satisfaction living here. Vantage is a beautiful and an amazing apartment complex but what sets it apart from all the other complexes is its amazing staff. Im a college student who only gets like 3 hrs of sleep, so Im typically really cranky and bitter. BUT every time I come by the office for free coffee, one of the workers, Traci, never fails to greet me and ask me about my day. Her greetings never fail to brighten up my day. What an angel she is!I never really had to talk to the manager since Traci was always able to help me right off the bat. Anyways, lovely staff!Another reason why I enjoyed vantage so much was the little events they set up each month. These events help me get to know other residents living here. So far they hosted: a large picnic with bunch of cool prizes, bagels for breakfast, and wine and painting. Who can say no to these events? Not only are they innovative but engaging. Im definetly getting my moneys worth here.
Was great when I first moved in, and then new management came in. Every month my bill had extra charges on it, and when I notified them about it they said that the system automatically bills you and they couldnt take extra charges off. I would not recommend these apartments. Spent way more money than I anticipated.
It was a great place to move into at first, especially being my first residence off campus during college. However, when Vantage became Parallax, I was pretty annoyed at how difficult it was to get a hold of the employees. Several calls throughout the day went unanswered, and even with voicemails left with name and number, never got a return call from them. The few employees I did get to talk with were actually quite rude and I didnt care for their attitudes. It felt like they were talking to me like I was a child. Im also very annoyed at how they chose to communicate with residents through tacky pieces of paper left on the door and only contact through emails when it pertains to keeping Parallax clean! including frequent grammatical errors. It also feels like they are constantly charging residents for bs that shouldnt be charged for or at least making them unreasonably expensive. Above all, when they respond to these google reviews it feels very shady and sarcastic to respond to someone expressing genuine concern or just straight up frustrations with we guarantee our staff would never (: do (: such (: a (: thing (: Cause honey Im here to tell you they damn well did.I dont think there is necessarily anything wrong with the amenities that you get or the layouts of the room, those are what attracted me in the first place, but what really drove me away was the overall management of the complex. Also before the manager replies requesting that I come in and talk to them, I would like to say that I have tried multiple times and could either 1) not get a hold of you or 2) talked to someone else who proved to be more disrespectful than helpful. Whoever actually DOES answer phones if at all is obviously not good at relaying messages. I will not be setting foot near Parallax again or recommending it to others.
I have been renting since i moved to austin for seven years and i am in shock at how these people still have their jobs in that office. Any time something breaks in our apartment we are always accused or blamed. This whole apartment complex is made cheap. I can hear my neighbors on both sides of me carrying out conversations that i can hear clear as day. The doors in these apartments are a joke! It took Maintenance over a week just to replace our bathroom door and to top it off he didnt even install it correctly. The doors are literally as thin as a cardboard box. They also claim that they have curtesy poo bags which is another joke. There are never any bags in the stations and it will be like that for days. Since the day we moved here it had just been disappointment after the next!!!!! i really tried to love it here but the staff has made that impossible. They have horrible attitudes and dont have any people skills. I will not stand for them to belittle or try and twist my words around anymore.
Horrible and dishonest staff. I have been here 2months and still havent had anyone to come fix the initial move-in complaints. The second bathroom tub has been stopped up and kitchen sink.and dishwasher has been having a slow drainage since 1 month ago. It was told to the lead maintenance as well as the apartment manager and no one has came. I give up the entire staff should be fired.
We rented here only a short time, while our home was being built. We dealt with Traci in the office with the rental process and with any questions or concerns we had while we were here. She always went out of her way to help us, answer any questions we had. Always pleasant. She arranged events at the complex in a monthly basis which got the people in the complex involved. Traci definitely made our short stay at Vantage very pleasant.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone in there 20s with a roommate or your first place. Very peaceful and safe community, and Lauren in the front office is awesome at resolving issues and being attentive. Not to mention very affordable for how nice they are, loved living here!
Really starting to hate these apartments. They’ll make you pay for a carport even if you don’t want it and never requested one in the lease proposal. Pulled the “ it’s in your lease agreement under additional items “ which in my lease says if applicable it’s not applicable if I never chose to have one. I have the sceeenshot so I’ll be in contact with upper management. Then if you ask to have a storage instead you get a response like I’m not sure we have one available. Maybe go check?
AVOID THIS PLACE. Ive been living here for less than 6 months, first off, they offered me an specific 2b 2b and when I was approved they suddenly changed my apartment number to a half finished place, no sink cabinet in the master bathroom, no cabinets in the kitchen, and several other not nice things that were never fixed even after the complaint. Then the walls are extremely thin, I can hear neighbors having sex, I can hear neighbors loud music, even conversations! and this is daily, people never clean up after their pets so youre always moping poop and washing your shoes, AND your car will be towed for NO REASON but they will say you were taking 2.5 centimeters of a second space so the towing company will charge you almost 300 dollars because they say so.
Wow , now from an outsider looking in....this really seems petty on everyones behalf. Ive never been to the property as of yet and at this point Im a little hesitant. These reviews are bogus......Im sure all these reviews are from friends of tenant and apartment personnel. The apartments should be ashamed to let themselves be dragged into a game of whos penis is bigger. Not sure if its a race issue but it definetly is not professional. Seems to me like Vantage at Georgetown needs to replace current apartment employees.Im amazed at the lack of integrity and professionalism from the staff at Vantage at Georgetown . It saddens me to see that after my review , the property manager Alicia went back and changed all her responses to what seems like every review. Seems to me as if someone is trying the best they can to back track and do as much damage control as possible. Really makes you wonder if the bad reviews on this place are true. I definitely will be contacting corporate to shine light on what i have stumbled across. This world has become a horrible place due to the fact that people like this, have become more prevalent in our society. Id advise anyone having problems at this property contact Tenants Council regarding any and all issues with staff/property
The WORST! This place caters to all the people with bad credit and other issues that are not accepted at all the other properties in GTown. Management is a disaster and changes regularly as they cant keep anyone working here. Maintenance is a complete joke and my apartment was dirty and my kitchen sink leaked regularly. This is the Section 8 type of place for the people who are a risk to rent to.
If your not white best thing to do is stay away from these apartments. To many racist people live here . You cant walk in your own apartment with out getting a noise complaint . The place is also to overpriced for how cheap everything is . And if you have kids this is not the place for you
6/23/17: There has been change in management team since March 2017 and it is obvious it is ONLY about the money and NOT about the residents. It appears they do not know how to fix serious issues with the apartments. Stay far away from here because it will only get worse if something doesnt change!
WORSE PLACE TO LIVE!!!ALICIA THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS RACIST SHE WILL PLAY NICE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY TO GET YOU IN BUT ONCE YOUR IN SHE NO LONGER CARES THAN SHELL TURN AROUND AND EVICT YOU IF YOU HAVE LITTLE KIDS WHO PLAY IN THEIR HOME. THE ONSITE COMES TO THE DOOR WITH HIS GUN READY TO SHOOT OVER LITTLE KIDS PLAYING IN THEIR OWN HOME. THEY NEVER FIX ANYTHING...THEY BASICALLY DONT CARE SHE ACTS LIKE SHE DOES BUT SHE DONT. IF YOU ASK HER TO DO SOMETHING SHELL AGREE TO DO IT BUT NEVER DOES IT...THAN SHELL CLAIM YOU NEVER ASKED HER TO DO IT. SHE OFFERED ME A JOB BECAUSE SHE GOT MY RESUME ONLINE BUT WHEN SHE MET ME IN PERSON SHE ALL OF SUDDEN WASNT HIRING WHY BECAUSE IM HISPANIC AND I DONT MEAN HISPANIC THAT WILL TURN ON MY OWN COLOR TO PLEASE WHITE PEOPLE IM HISPANIC AND I LOVE MY RACE. SHE WILL DISRESPECT YOU AND TALK LOUD TO YOU YELL AT YOU BUT THE MOMENT YOU SNAP BACK SHELL HIT YOU WITH ALL KINDS OF VIOLATIONS. THE WAY I SEE IF YOUR A PROPERTY MANAGER TREAT PEOPLE EQUAL DONT TREAT PEOPLE DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THEIR SKIN COLOR OR RACE. SHE HAS EVICTED MULTIPLE HISPANIC FAMILIES. SHE DIDNT EVEN TAKE THEM TO COURT SHE JUST GAVE THEM NOTICE TO VACATE.

2021-12-29Moved into these apartments in September and I love it here! The staff are so helpful and welcoming. Anytime I call the office, they help me right away or call me back within a short period of time. Maintenance requests have all been fixed promptly and well. My apartment is beautiful inside! I love the large master closet, the numerous kitchen cupboards, and the dark wood floors. This is by far the best apartment I have ever lived in!

2021-11-24I have been a resident here now for 3 years and I’m glad to say this is by far the best apartments I have resided in!!!! From day one, the managers, assistant manager and staff and maintenance , have been nothing but nice and respectful. Never once had an issue with them. Now there are new staff members in the office and so far they are the most caring and concerned I have seen. Ms. Nina, community manager, is so welcoming and very attentive and very concerned for others. She goes above and beyond her duties for her tenants and a lot of people don’t have that right now with everything going on in this world. Katherine is another wonderful lady! She checks in on you and very helpful and concerned. And she works with you and for you! GOD BLESS all of them and it’s always good to check in on them sometimes as well. It’s hard for everyone right now, so a kind gesture goes a long way! Stay Blessed everyone 🙏🏽

2022-05-20This five star review is dedicated to Nakisa aka Nikki. The courtesy, professionalism, and empathy that she displayed to me as a potential tenant was so impressive I could not believe that she had only been working there for two weeks. She was the epitome of proficient, ideal hospitality. Her supervisor - Katherine - could learn from Nikki as her unprofessional demeanor, cadence, and aloofness is what lost her a tenant. If you are to lease with Parallax; ask for Nikki - NOT KATHERINE!

2022-02-17Recently just moved here, so far so good! Amber Blair really helped us out getting settled in! She was very informative and always responsive! It’s always good to have a person who cares! I’ve seen some bad reviews but with our experience so far it’s been going pretty well. The hallways can be a little more maintained and clean but other than that, the area is nice and is prettier than what we’re used to haha. Cant wait to officially get settled in!

2022-06-15Resident of 5 years. Was a decent place to live until February 2020. Since then it has gone downhill. They got rid of repair requests on their website. Zero communication through email. Pool has been closed for 5 months WITH NO EXPLANATION. It is now June 15th in the middle of summer with no pool and no answers as to when it is open.

2021-07-29Very beautiful apartments. Kendra was very attentive and offered me refreshments while she proceeded to help me with leasing information. They didnt have any availability, but she still provided me with information about the apartment features and amenities. I will definitely lease here once they have something available.
