If a new store comes up and you like it, shop fast. They never last long. Also, there tend to be fight amongst stupid kids or stupider adults. Food court also changes fairly often. Some restaurants are fantastic though. Unfortunately, its pretty much the best place to shop in town. It just needs a better security plan, and to find a way to make it more appealing to the town.
Went to Graphic Designs located by foot locker very nice gentleman that waited on us answered every question we had and most definitely will be doing business with him I thought I later learned the guy did not complete my order the back of the shirts was not done then when I did finally catch someone there I learned supposedly the guy I thought was ok had been doing alot of things and was no longer there
The mall is nice, but we have seen nicer. It could use and update on the furniture and flooring. The food court is small but has an ample amount of food to choose from, the down side to the food court area is the different restaurants hounding you as you walk by to try their samples or by their food, The stores are nice, but the few times we have been here the electronic directorys dont work so it would be nice if they would have them fixed,
Parents: there is no play place! Its not a bad mall, pretty typical actually, but when you take young kids to a mall, you really hope theres a play place of some sort. They do have stroller rentals though. The food court is good sized and its kept pretty clean. They just added an arcade and it looks awesome, but I havent had the time to actually go in. Id rather go to the mall in port Arthur though, just because they have a place to play for kids. Its not near as nice as Parkdale but its better for me
Keep your purse close and your belongings closer. The mall itself is somewhat safe, but dont let kids wander off by themselves. I would strongly advise against going at night, the parking lot has a reputation for muggings. But in the day the mall is a great place to hang for a couple hours and kill some time
It has some really great stores that I love going to and hopefully get to visit again, such as 2nd and Charles. They also have many choices for food when it comes to lunchtime. The only thing that I dont think that they have is a theater, which doesnt bother me too much. I just like going there for all of the awesome stuff I can find.
Mall is small. Lacks a lot of the stores that people are looking for but it will get you by. The Earthbound store is nice, different from the norm. Not too many people even on the weekends. Bad thing is.. You will probably run into someone you know. Food court is good.
If there is air conditioning it must be controlled by someplace like dry and far far away where they believe that 78 degrees is comfortable. With southeast Texas humidity it is incredibly hot and stuffy inside this Mall. I will not shop here unless there is a store I need something from and then I leave as soon as possible. Always feel like I am going to suffocate when Im in Parkdale Mall. Bathrooms are horrible, dirty and smell like pee. Food court is dirty and greasy too. I avoid this place as much as possible.
Mall is not safe and the management does not offer proper security for customers nor store employees. The company that owns the mall is struggling and is cutting costs by not hiring adequate security.Stores are not seeing much foot traffic so stock is not up to date when compared to other malls outside the city. The turnover rate at many stores here is terrible. Stores are struggling from peoples reluctance to visit and the inability of management to fill spaces. Also shop lifting (loss percentage) is at an all time high at this mall for its stores even when compared to Houston mall store locations which experience more traffic. Some stores have hired loss prevention to help as mall security cannot do anything in regards to the shoplifters. Many stores are experiencing pressures from their own corporate offices with how little security is present in the mall and how the current security refuses to perform citizens arrest. The mall will not hire police officers to actively patrol to protect customers or assist store employees. As a result this hurts the performance of stores currently in the mall. Many will continue to leave as it is cheaper for them to close up shop rather than pay for constant loss prevention when other malls actively provide assistance.
The Over all experience of shopping here was pleasant. I am a disabled American and find that in a Mall setting it’s often difficult to get help from customer service reps. The Store manager Stacy, at the B&BW in Parkdale Mall in Beaumont Texas was informative and helpful.Taylor the CSR WAS WONDERFUL!!!! She’s a young beautiful, bright, young lady with a great sales career ahead of her. She was patient, helpful, decisive, and not at all pushy or judgmental!!! She alone gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!! My overall shopping experience was fantastic and I would definitely return!Sincerely, your GOOGLE SHOPPER REVIEW EXPERT PENNI N JOHNSON , ORANGE TEXAS!!!
Lots of stores and excellent parking. I drove down from Dallas to adopt an older animal to save her life (older animals get put down in shelters first, I love giving them a life of love in their senior years!) and picked up supplies to bring back to Dallas. I absolutely LOVE the Beaumont area and all the friendly residents and students living and working there. Been a few years, will be back sooner!!
This place has really become slightly dilapidated in the last few years. There are numerous empty shops, and lackluster sales about the mall. Parking is okay, and most of the employees are nice. Though, trying to head to use the facilities, we had solicitors following us...
I am not too fond of malls because they can be too overwhelming but if I had to choose a mall to go to around the area I would definitely choose to go to this one. Has a ton of stores so you can find exactly what your looking for. Visited during a week day and mall was not crowded. Was easy to get in and out. Would definitely return!
It was a cold day recently and we wanted exercise. We decided on an inside walk doing a couple of laps at Parkdale Mall. Its a pleasant walk and crowds rarely slow you down. We decided on no shopping as a rule. That worked for the first lap, but on the second lap, as we started slowing down, the store seemed more and more inviting. We got our exercise in and brought home a couple of bargains -- pretty good for an afternoon walk.
Ok mall owner and retail store establishments.Time for you to demand an better shopping experience or I will bring my business elsewhere. Store clerks and managers of several establishments are deemed inexperienced and non operational. If they have no knowledge of retail do not let them in the door. My job is to spend money. Your job is to make sure I spend it there. But this will not happen until changes are made.
Parkdale mall is a dump. Most of their restrooms look like they are under construction or falling apart. The food court is usually a complete mess.Their security is terrible. For that reason I would like to have my concealed handgun on me not for in the mall but walking to and from my vehicle in their dimmly lit parking lot. They have a no carry policy in place because one idiot did something he shouldnt have done. So now law abiding citizens cant feel that they can protect themselves. I avoid this place completely.
Great place to go for shopping and eating. Some of the stores become disorganized during the holiday season mostly to the blame of messy shoppers and understaffed stores, but still a good place to find bargains. There are some higher end stores like Express and Victorias Secrets, but also some stuff for geeks like game stop and 2nd & Charles, a resale store for books, movies, vinyls and more.
The stores themselves arent bad, but the mall itself is so unsafe. The risk of being robbed or kidnapped for human trafficking is real, and the mall is a gun free zone so you have no means of protecting yourself. Ladies, dont go alone. And do NOT let your children wander alone.
I would have given Parkdale mall 5 stars but something has changed. Im not sure what but somethings different and it just doesnt seem right. Used to come here and I would see everyone happy and just rule loving to be there but now it seems full of lack luster and full of just people and staff that seem like they do not wanna be here. What happened to the hospitality? What happened to the joy I used to see in peoples faces when they would walk through those doors? Either way the selection is wonderful and the prices are even better I just wish I knew what was wrong and I know this is not the malls fault, at least I hope not but somethings not right. I do pray it Will be reconciled though
I used to enjoy shopping at this mall but it seems like every store I used to shopped at are closed down. I know this is out of the hands of Parkdale mall but they could make rent (I heard) more reasonable for those stores. The restrooms in the food court are horrendous. Hopefully theyll open more stores and make the place more safe and I maybe Ill continue to shop here.
Is an non commonly his spaces distribution and that catch more my attention to rediscover day by day what can find on it. You will notice the Mall is sectioned well and fiscally separate, in which case you will have to walk around inside and outside of him in order you can say you looked all.
Food court...best time for fresher better prepared food etc is no later than 1pm...for all restaurants in the mall...anytime after 1pm the quality just plummets. Older employees work early shift and care way more about quality than the youngsters who work evening and night shifts...this is a fact.
Have to love this place because its the only place in my area to go shopping at several different places all in one spot standard Mall. A lot of the places are really nice I havent been in quite a while until recently and many of the places that I was used to being there were no longer there however they did have a lot of nice stores replace the other stores that were there previously.
Its a mall. Its like most malls. Its not one of the more depressing malls, so thats cool. Theres a Suncoast, which is neat, and yummy bubble tea. Torrid employees were friendly, if a little unfocused. Spacious, well lit, and a clean bathroom down the hall by JC Penney.
I cant remember the ladys name but she is the manager at Zales, she was polite and very helpful, she helped me pick out my engagement ring even though I was being very picky and indecisive, she never showed any signs of frustration as I looked at about 30 rings and I am glad she was so professional about it because I left with what I wanted and I am still in love with my choice. 😍😍
Its a good mall, I give it 4 stars because there is every kinda clothing shop in that mall. There are even custom shops where you can make your own size suits if you can find your size and even GameStop, gym accessories shop, footware and phone carrier shops but I still dont give it a perfect 5 because of the food court, I heard there are few inspections and those Chinese shops were found with dead cockroaches and other insects in their shops and I love Chinese food I used to eat there Everytime but now I dont go to food court at all
I dont know if every mall is starting to feel like the old run-down empty places that nobody is at anymore but this one is on its way. Theres still a Footlocker and Champs and Footaction on Hollister and other contemporary notable sorts but there are many source that have pulled up stakes and left for good as well.
During my last trip to this mall a group of teenagers got into a fight, security personnel stood by idly. The food court was uncap the trash cans overflowing food on the floor and tables and the restrooms appeared unsanitary. It was a very unpleasant experience I felt unsafe and I will not return.
Beaumont mall is garbage now. Most of the stores are gone that i would visit. Not to mention theyve added some (improperly applied) 30.06 signage.30.06 and 30.07 signage has some very specific rules as to how it should be used, and where it should be placed. They do not have the lettering against contrasting colors, you cant even see itnuntil youve already almost committed an offense. Not to mention, most of the outlets do not uave the aignage on their doors creating a situatuon where you could walk into a store and not be in violation, because you never passed a sign, but still be behind a sign because the mall has the signs on their doors. The second you leave one of the unmarked stores and step into the mall hallway you are committing an offense when you havent even been warned. The arcade is gone, the knife store is gone, sears, jc penny, all gone as well. The only stores left are over priced clothes stores, and cell phone shops.I reccomend avoiding this place if you wanna keep your sanity.
Sad I use to shop at the mall for almost everything. Now I have to walk around sizing up the threat factor of each person around me. Sorry I have seen the news and personally know a people who have been mugged at Parkdale Mall. Its not safe. If you must go to the mall, please pull your head out of your phone and stay alert.
I feel sorry for this mall ,every time I go there to shop ,is one store closing its doors, and going bankruptcy, crazy 8 was one of my favorites, now is closed.Hope this place survives, because I like to try the clothes on me before buy,and feel the fabric with my hand.
WHY is the food court so HOT??? It’s unbearable and so uncomfortable I almost passed out when we attempted to eat last week . Does anyone care to fix the situation? I know a ton of people that don’t even go here anymore because of how trashy the mall has gotten and half the stores are so mismanaged and filthy and run down ....
Not the best mall in Texas but not the worst either. In recent years parkdale seems to be having issues keeping stores. It seems like they are gone almost as soon as they move in. Alternately, the stores that last have been there for years, and are dependable to suit your needs. If you ask me, the Arbys is the very best reason to go there, with a 20+ year old Suncoast coming in a close second.
Too many people, takes too long to get waited on!! Cant find anyone to help find things your looking for!: Last time I went was with my Daughter N Law,we went right in too exchange something & left after exchanging it!!! If I wouldnt have been with her, I wouldnt have went!!!
Parkdale Mall really needs to tighten up on their security, people no longer want to shop there especially at night. I worked at the mall for nearly two years and I can tell you that large groups of children running around unsupervised will usually mean trouble. I guess people think that its a daycare of some sort
Don’t go to the food court and expect to eat went with my fiancé Thursday and it was so boiling hot we literally had to leave Couldnt even enjoy our food she was miserable and I was also it’s pathetic horribly engineered had to have been at least 90 degrees in there ... can they not afford to fix the situation or they just don’t care ???
Went to J&H photography to get some photos done (that we were pushed into by a sales person at a kiosk and didnt want in the first place) and the photographer was 20 minutes late. My boyfriend and I were almost late to work because of it. Secondly, we had no say in the poses, we got a lot of stiff looking unnatural pictures with weird positions which I didnt like at all. The entire ordeal just felt unprofessional and more about getting our money than giving us our moneys worth.
Parkdale Mall in this area who does it go to the mall everyone goes to the mall great place friendly service they have everything there you need have all kind of stores there clothing shoes restaurants even a game room for the kids they have a food court great food great service the malls a nice place to visit
I guess with online ordering PDM is going down hill. I have mentally challenged child in my family so hear me. The one that is a teenager that the parent drops off every day, that they let walk around with head phones singing vulgar lyrics at the top of his lungs every day now..... Was the nail in the coffin for me.

2022-06-26Ridiculous...100° in the mall. Parkdale mall needs to be bulldozed. We need a beautiful outdoor mall like Houston, The Woodlands and Austin. Beaumont is in a time warp and has been for years.
