PermaVista Ranch is beautiful location for a corporate retreat/weekend. My company rented the ranch for a client weekend and had a fantastic experience. The staff was very friendly, even helped me unload my car and responded instantly anytime we had a question. The chef-prepared breakfast every morning was top notch. I highly recommend PermaVista Ranch to anyone looking for a location for a corporate/client weekend.
We booked this venue before it was posted on The Knot as a wedding venue, when it was so on Air BNB. Ruth, the face of the property was initially responsive and quick to tell us all about the property. Vendor flexibility, breakfast/brunch included, ceremony flexibility, use of the kitchen, etc. However, once committed everything changed. She was no longer responsive to our emails. The previous agreements were changed. We no longer were able to use the kitchen. Outside caterers were no longer allowed to use any of the properties amenities. They attempted to change the catering prices on us and we requested a tasting multiple times. Once we were told they would host a tasting in July. That feel through, then it was in Sept. That came and went to. She finally responded telling me she was about to email me with some dates, after I requested a cancelation and now only wants to refund a third of my money. Brides beware! There are other, more attentive, nicer venues in the same price range and are with far better service professionals.*** I wouldnt know about any wedding packages, because none of that was ever presented to me. Guess Ruth forgot to provide that as well.
What a lovely weekend! I booked the ranch for an annual girls trip with 10 of my best friends. We arrived on Friday and were greeted by Ruth and Julian. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They helped us get settled and showed us around. We loved that the rooms were spread out and each had our own bathroom for privacy.MEALS! All I can say is WOW. Julian and his staff were beyond amazing. Our group was small enough to enjoy the beautiful dining room and the food and the service were just off the charts. Delicious homemade authentic Mexican food! Homemade salsa at every meal!The guys were great about having coffee set up so the early risers could get up and enjoy a cup of coffee and visit on the patio while the others slept in.HORSEBACK RIDING: We went down to the stable about 10 am on Saturday and met Shannon, the ranchs horse trainer. She could not have been nicer! She obviously has been riding her whole life and has the knowledge and personality to make sure everyone had fun! She asked each of our comfort levels in riding and saddled up a horse that would suit us the best. We loved how she knew each of the horses personality and story. This helped us get to know our horse before we rode. She started us off in the area as many of us had not been on a horse since since middle school! Once we got saddled up and comfortable, she let us have some freedom in riding while still staying close enough to look out for our comfort and safety.OVERALL:The ranch was beyond our expectations. We travel to many places like this and it was by far one of our favorites! The house was clean, well stocked and a perfect setting for out annual get together.
Beautiful venue! The staff is great and extremely accommodating. The ranch has two feels... old school ranch style and a new modern entertaining house with patios and an observation tower.

Loved Perma Vista Ranch, cant wait to go back! It it so relaxing and waking up and sitting out by the pool to see the sunset was just breathtaking and amazing.

2022-04-28We rented the location for a 2 night work retreat and had a great experience. They were super great with check in and check out times. The amenities were fantastic (pool, hot tub, pool table, shuffle board, grill, huge patio, multiple bar spaces, horseback riding, personal chef etc.) Tons of bedrooms and sitting rooms. Beautiful views (best Ive seen in Texas). The horse trainer, Elise, was BEYOND AMAZING. Super helpful and patient, answered all our questions. I would 100% return.

2022-06-13PermaVista is a gorgeous property! We had our wedding at the ranch and hosted our family/wedding party at the house and we could not have been more pleased. Everything from view to the staff, chef and property manager (also wedding coordinator, Ruth) were all amazing!If you’re looking for a weekend getaway with plenty of space for family, outdoor events and outstanding chef onsite…this is the right place.Thank you to Ruth and the entire team for a memorable weekend! 2022-07-02We had a great family reunion/vacation. We all enjoyed the pool, tennis court, shuffleboard and party room. We especially loved the amazing gourmet breakfast provided every morning. Just wish the dining room was a little bigger to hold all 22 of us comfortably.

2021-10-21The PermaVista ranch exceeded our expectations, the wedding was perfect! Totally customizable and catered to you. Ruth worked with us for over a year making sure everything was perfect. She has been attentive, helpful, and goes above and beyond. For example, there was a downpour 1 day before the wedding. Ruth had an extra tent and sidings setup in a few hours. Any last minute problems, Ruth took care of immediately. She is an unbelievable asset to the ranch and a strong leader. Silvio, the chef, prepared many outstanding meals for us, everyone raved about the food. It was phenomenal. The staff are all so happy, and so helpful. Just an absolute pleasure to deal with. We could not have had a better stay, or a better wedding. Words cannot capture how amazing the PermaVista ranch is.

2017-10-17PermaVista Ranch is such a hidden gem nestled in the gorgeous hills of Brenham. This is definitely the ideal place for any big gathering you are having such as a family reunion, graduation party, birthday party, etc. The staff are all amazing, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The rooms are gorgeous and feel exactly like home. I don’t think a stay at a ranch was ever more luxurious than my stay at Permavista. There are also activities to keep all ages happy entertained like tennis, basketball, horseback riding, and more. The pool and hot tub are definitely perfect for relaxing after a long day. If you are looking for your next event location look no further because it doesn’t get any better than PermaVista.

2021-10-27We took our five children and spouses and six grandkids to the ranch in October 2021. The trip was awesome! We had such a good time and built some family memories that will last a lifetime. The Ranch was a perfect family getaway for us - pool, tennis court, horseback riding, the huge grassy fields to throw the football and frisbee. The game room was awesome! The horse trainer, Elise was outstanding in every way - so good with the small kids but also let the adults have an awesome adventurous ride. We definitely hope to return soon!

2021-06-07We had a group of families visit! An absolutely gorgeous magical time! The property is spectacular! We will certainly have family vacation there again. When they said served breakfast we anticipated a mild continental style. Nope! It’s a legendary experience with fresh fruit, sausages, eggs, pancakes/waffles, bacon, etc. the food was incredible. We did not opt for the chef prepared dinner this time. We didn’t realize what an amazing experience it would be! Honestly, you could have their breakfast and get the dinner experience. That is all the food you’ll need! The game room was insane🤩! We loved every second! Definitely returning!

2016-08-15PermaVista was an amazing place to hold my daughter’s bat mitzvah celebration. The natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country never disappoints. And the folks who work at the ranch all went the extra mile to ensure that each detail was properly executed, from following recipes, to decorative arrangement of platters, to replenishing the buffet. We had a total of 140 adults and children who all raved about the spacious and beautiful facilities, both indoors and outdoors. While we had to go home when the party was over, we were offered our choice of the many beautiful bedrooms that could have accommodated at least 20 of us. Everything was top notch!
