Have never had a bad experience. I have 3 fur babies, so I am at the pet store a lot and after finding here I refuse to go anywhere else. They have a great variety of products. Theres one guy working there and he is amazing! The rest of the staff is also kind! They offer a military discount! And their 5 for 25 DIY bath deal is AWESOME! Always great sales! Always taking donations for local rescues! No complaints here! My all time favorite pet store!
I love their staff!! I have bought all my fish for my aquarium here and my snake. I am very happy with my purchases. I love that they let me hold her and explained that they in-store train all of their snakes for handling. Now that I have had her a few weeks, their work sure shows. I am proud to call myself a loyal customer of this place.
Love this place all the store representatives are great and positive full of knowledge and I must say Cat is so sweet I love her and Christian they are amazing people knowledgeable about reptiles and their care

I had rescued a leopard gecko who was supposed to come with everything he needed which was severely lacking. We went to Pet Supplies Plus, and was immediately and very thoroughly helped by the employee Cat. She was very knowledgeable about reptiles and the products she had in her store. Will definitely be going back and asking for Cat if I have any questions.
I had never been here and needed some items for my turtle. I didnt feel like driving down to Petsmart either. I Mjust had taken care of my errand at the UPS store, a few stores down from Pet Supplies Plus. I checked it out and found everything I needed. The selection wasnt too overwhelming, but they still had everything I needed. Everything was easy to find, and the employees were friendly and helpful.
This store is great. We used to go to Phydeaux and Friends but its very expensive there and the workers a bit pretentious. Pet Supplies is 2 mins away from my place, everyone is awesome and they even brought in my dogs specific brand of food and they keep one safely tucked away just for when I need it. And they price match!! I got my boy a biiggg bed from there thats their brand and its great quality. Finally, HEB is next door so I grabbing groceries is a breeze. Oh! And their bath station is a godsend. Highly recommended!

Ive been going here for years (I used to go to the Anderson Mill one but moved away!) and a few things:- Its well stocked, and well organized. I usually just need cat litter/food, but if I feel like looking for a gift for a dog-friend, its not a whole *thing*.- The staff is always incredibly helpful and nice. Theyre patient and are really really knowledgeable about the products they sell. They also really care about animals - Ive brought in my cat a few times (he likes to pick out his own toys) and theyre always really sweet to him. 10/10,- Theyve adapted really well to COVID, including curbside pickup and delivery. I just do my shopping on their website and run in, but theyre always the first to ask if I need help or tell me to wait in my car, haha.Pet Supplies Plus is amazing, honestly. 5 Stars!

This place is great. They always have sales going on. And the employees are extra helpful and nice. I get most of my cat and dog needs from here now and couldnt live without this store being so close now.Edit 1: Still love coming here and have been for a few years now. I will never go to another pet store again. The staff knows their stuff. These people genuinely care about animals. I come with questions and I always leave with a warm and fuzzy feeling leaving here.

Too expensive for one toy that I bought for my dog puppy and I found cheaper at dollertree.
This has been my go-to place for the past couple of years. I love that their employees are very friendly and helpful. However, I found out that they no longer require their employees and customers to wear masks. I am sad that it has come to this, but I will not be going there anymore. I will not jeopardize my health. There is nothing above peoples lives, hence, they are not getting my $$.

This store is amazing! I adore the people who own and help operate it. They are well informed and truely care about you and your pet. They have the same variety as the larger pet stores but are warmer and much more personable. They have the cutest little dog treats up front that my dog LOVES(they look like iced ginger bread cookies), and also carry very high quality pet food (my dog is allergic to normal dog food) that is well worth the investment. The owners are the most down to earth people you will ever meet. At their grand opening they personally stopped to explain what was causing the skin issues my dog was having, and how to help alleviate the problem. Every time I go in the assistant manager takes the time to ask if I need any help, and even offers to carry the dog food to the front while I shop. Hes always ready to help locate items or answer questions. You dont see that level of customer service very often, especially from management. They have a very affordable doggy bath ($25 for 5 washes) I would definitely recommend supporting this wonderful business! Im sure youll be just as impressed!
Its a good place if you need something a little more specific for your pet. There is a large selection of foods, I would dare to say better than some other large pet retail stores. The staff are friendly and create a comfortable environment to shop. Its not a big discount store but you can find some good deals on clearance or sale. I love that they have canned cat food in about 12oz sizes.
I had an excellent visit today that reminded me that I absolutely love shopping here. My visit with Josh (I believe was his name?) And Chelsea was awesome. They helped me find everything I needed, helped me carry it to the car, and pointed out some excellent deals without an pressure to buy a bunch of stuff they were absolutely amazing. And I always come here to do work with my dogs training for distraction, and the employees are always super understanding and helpful with training for not jumping or getting too excited. If they have the time, they will even do some work with me for my shyer dog! All in all, absolutely amazing place with amazing people, and amazing service. This is my favorite place for pet supplies.

This place has a large range of pet food that you normally cant get from certain stores, they have lots of good treats and foods to look at for your pet whether theyre a senior or a puppy! The bathing area is also very nice, super affordable, only $25 for a card that sets you up with multiple bath uses for whenever aslong as you have the punch card or $10 for just a single bath whenever youre feeling like coming in and bathing your dog.Lots of cute critters like hamsters, birds and fish and the cat and fish sections are nice and stocked
This place is great, and Amanda is the best. She was knowledgeable, went above and beyond to help me make my decision about my purchase (two frogs I’m very excited about!!) both on the phone and in person, and she was honest and informative about what supplies I needed and didn’t need. I’m really happy I found this place!
I love this pet store!! There are lovely and very helpful people working here. They always recognize be and my dogs.. Theyvea good amount of time helping me figure out the right dog food for each of my dogs. They are already pretty cheap in comparison to the major chains and they offer discounts on top of that. Theyve earned my business for life.

So used to going to PetSmart, forgot about this place. Some things were less than PS, but appeared to have a good mix of stuff. Recommend getting the membership to save a few dollars.The return policy is pretty good (product dependent). Will see what is good for the fur kid on next visit to pet store

I went in to get some dog food, and I saw 2 employees with masks, but a few more steps and I was stopped in my tracks. 3 more employees DID NOT have masks, management included. It was not as if they had their masks down on their chins so they could eat a snack or take a drink, no masks whatsoever. They were not wearing masks despite Austin still having the mask mandate in effect. So, I immediately walked back out.I will NEVER shop where they do not care for the health and safety of the customers as well as themselves and the world at large.TLDR; they trying to kill us at this store.
This is the BEST pet store EVER ! staff is always warm and super friendly. to both 2 and 4 legged customers :) prices for both toys and food are excellent. and i think that their dogwash is a great feature !
I think overall, it is a better place to shop for pet supply compare with all other near by pet store.The staffs were super friendly. You can see they have passion in animals.The staffs were knowledgeable. They were able to constantly recommend the suitable product for my puppy.The staffs were also very patient. Because they have multiple staff in the store, so they dont need to rush back to whatever they were doing and stay with customer to chat and give advice.
Stopped by this place to check it out and to get out of the heavy rain we had today. I wasnt really looking for anything in particular. I noticed they have a great selection and prices. Staff is really attentive and friendly. They even offer a pet washing station and its only $10 a visit 👍In the end I purchased two pastry treats and some training treats for my dogs. Definitely worth the visit. I shall return next time to try out the pet washing station.

I really like this location of pet supplies plus. The employees are nice and helpful. They stock a large variety of brands for every price point. If you’re on their email list you usually get a coupon every weekend, at minimum they have certain items on sale. This location has a washing station as well if you need it.
I absolutely love this place! They have a good selection of high quality food for cats and dogs without being overwhelmed with choices. To the employees are so friendly and even help you carry your items to the car. They have regular sales on already reasonable prices. Ill never set foot in PetSmart or Petco again.
I took a point away as I feel they can do a better job cleaning dog wash after every a customer leaves. And not leave the job of cleaning up the dog wash area to customers.
Very helpful staff and great selection of things for your pet. I got my first puppy and they helped me understand procedure for washing my puppy.My puppy had her stomach upset and they told me few solutions for her. They were super good with my pup, they weighed her to help me find the right medicines for her. They have everything you need for your pup.They also have supplies for other pets.Definitely recommend
Went in with a friend to wash her dog. They have a punch card for múltiples at a discount which is cool. The treats selection is good. I finally found a place to buy the only treats my dog likes at a reasonable price.
Passed by this place a few times and decided to stop in and check it out. Wow! The store is not big from the outside but when you go in - its a fur-baby paradise!!!So much to look at and such a variety of product for all types of animals. I have 2 lil fur baby dogs that are very spoiled and I am happy that there is a place near my home that I can find everything I need for them.Prices are reasonable and they have clearance specials, which I am a huge fan of. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back with my reward card in hand

Thank you for always being extremely attentive! Ive been lucky enough to be there when a rep for raw food was there and was able to take home a kit to try out. Also the back dog bathing area is awesome, towels, air drying, multiple shampoo options and treats.
Its very much a chain like other well known pet stores carrying the same brands. The fish variety was moderate, but not that many reptiles. I would suggest this store for a cat, bird, or dog owner only as the prices for critter items were very high, near double than competing brands online.
This location used to have good customer service, but not anymore. We bought a $17 dog toy, weve bought the same one several times before. We buy it until our dog destroys it enough to toss it out, then we buy another one. The one we bought on Monday we took it home and once our dog started chewing on it, it sounded like she chipped a tooth! A loud cracking sound. We took it back today because it seemed like the squeaker was flipped around or inside out because there was a really hard bit right at the surface. The lady at the counter today when we showed her the issue proceeded to argue with us, and was more concerned about user error and thought we had done something to the product in the day we had it. She insisted they were all like that, even though weve bought this exact same toy several times and never had this problem before. We left, unsatisfied, with the same $17 dollar toy that we are now throwing straight in the garbage because we dont want our dog to get hurt. This is why people buy from online places like chewy and brick and mortar establishments are losing out on more and more sales. Customer Service will ALWAYS be a #1 motivator to shop (or not shop in this case) somewhere. We will not be shopping here again, we were loyal customers.
I love this pet store, especially since they are conveniently located right next to my vet office. They have the specialty food that I buy for both my cat and my dog, and they have grooming and self-wash services in house. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.
Small town feel pet store. Decent selection. Pricey, unless you join and get a little scannable key ring card, but thats no big deal. Definitely more personable than Petsmart. Ill continue to give them my business.
Love this place! I now only shop here for my pet needs. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are more than willing to admit if they do not know something but will try to figure it out. If they do not have what youre looking for they will look into it having it as a constant at their store, which is service thats almost unheard of nowadays. And they also support our veterans, so and less if they change anytime soon they have a customer for life!
Friendly people work here! They are also so proactive and nice. They all seem knowledge about the products and if you go to the vet next door you get a discount if you go there afterwards to purchase something. Prices are comparable if not better than Petsmart. Also love that I can take my dog and wash her there for cheap, and they do a la carte grooming at really great prices.
Five stars in simply not enough, Bradley and Amanda are incredible at what they do. Attention reptile enthusiasts, prices can’t be beaten here and variety of supplies is the best in town!!!
Found my dogs food easily. Greeted when I entered store. Cashier offered and carried 35 lb. bag to car. Always attentive here. Good selection of products in my neighborhood.
Joshua have me the white glove treatment while visiting your store. I explained to him that i was getting a new puppy and he gave me so much useful information and product guidance. He was truly unbaised and gave me advice that was practical and that could extend into my puppys day to day life. He told me about the app that shares sales information and about the clinic on Sunday.This is my first puppy and I feel so prepared and like I have a place to go when I get lost. Ill be back!

The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I have one really bipolar-PTSD- aggressive dog. I rarely take him anywhere bc of his aggression. However- he loves Pet Supply Plus. He is loved on by the staff. Gets a bath And treat. Feels great knowing he nor I will get judged coming here. 💜
This is a hidden gem. Where has this place been all this time? I found more stuff at this store that ive been looking for u should of started here. They have a variety of stuff for all animals not to mention just cool items such as the Batman collar my dog now has. Better selection in harnesses than the larger store like petsmart amd petco. They also have a dog washing station with stocks for the owner so you can somewhat stay dry. I found a rain coat for my girl and even some goodies for my cats. I will def be going back. My dog accidentally went pee on the floor i went to go find something to clean it with and jn no time one of the employees had already mopped it up. I would recommend this place if u are a new pet owner and need your starter supplies or a tenured pet owner lookinr for additional/everyday supplies.♥

Went to inquire about their fish/aquarium selection. Their staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. They actually take the time to make sure theyve answered your questions and if they dont carry a specific item they are more than willing to locate it and special order it for you.

I went into Pet Supplies Plus on Mopac in Austin, TX to get my little 3.5 lb, 14 year old blind Chihuahuas nails trimmed. The store brought in VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic that day and they are atrocious. A vet tech was holding my dog and the Veterinarian was trimming her nails. Everything was going fine there were literally no issues and then another employee from VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic who was checking people out when they were done must have been bored so he came over to where the Veterinarian was working and told me not to touch my dog….? My dog is very old and blind and I was simply touching her head and letting her smell my hand so that she would know I was there – she can’t see because she is blind and was scared. I thought it was inappropriate for this person to interject himself when everything was going just fine and no one had any issues until he showed up. That conversation got heated because here is someone that is not involved with what was going on telling me to not touch my dog because it’s against their policy and then he actually said “I am not going to get fired because you are violating policy.” The Veterinarian and the vet tech holding my dog never complained about anything and never said a word before or during this entire interruption. Immediately after that a girl that had to be in her teens that works for VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic came over and said she is refusing service and told me I had to leave the store – the Veterinarian stood their looking at her completely perplexed as to what was happening. How this little girl decided this is beyond me but that isn’t her store (she doesn’t even work there) and they had no right to talk to me that way. I called the store manager after I got home and he had no idea what was going on in his own store and said that they are a franchise and don’t have any say in whether VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic is allowed to work in their store because that comes from corporate. My takeaway is that if there is an outside company in your business and they are causing you to lose customers because of the ego of VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic employees then you better figure out what you are going to do because this was an epic fail for VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic and Pet Supplies Plus. Someone that is not employed at that store told me to leave the store because I was touching my little dogs head!?! Veterinarians are supposed to be there for our animals and this company does not put the animals first in care or comfort when they are treating our loved ones. Do not do business with VIP Petcare Community Veterinary Clinic they allow their employees carte blanche to treat their patients and owners disrespectfully and Pet Supplies Plus does nothing to manage what they are doing when they are onsite in their business.

Often out of a lot of product and a bit overpriced. Paying for convenience when I go here, really. Good selection of bettas and dog stuff.. Not so great for cat or small animal products.
Helpful staff (had to size/fit my dog with a new e-cone and they let us try them on to be sure), and they have my 10 yr old Bichon’s limited ingredient food (Blue Buffalo for adult small breeds).
The cashier was very friendly, and told me the exact date something they were missing would be restocked. She even offered to help carry my things to my bike, which I declined, but the offer was very kind of her.

Kinda disappointed, Your employee suggested wrong size of diapers. They didnt have measuring tape. Wasted money on wrong size. Lots of your stuff is sold by measurements, why not have measuring tape.? Pets Mart is probably best. Quit Pets Mart but am going back.
This place is great. Not just a pet supply store. They also have a self serve Dog wash! We go for a bath and pick out a treat on the way out. Fun!

2021-10-23I was very impressed with the selection this store has to offer! They have a ton of different dog food at good prices. Also, they have dog treats that represent a very wide variety of preferred diets. A lot of what they carry, if you look for it, is single-ingredient, healthy, food-grade treats. Good dog toy selection and I even found a find the treats game there that our dog absolutely loves. Ill be a regular for sure.

2022-02-14Okay so I normally HATE leaving reviews for places, in fact I’ve never had to do it before however the business practices I was met with today made me feel extremely disappointed with this store. I have worked in pet retail before and I understand that it can get busy but by no means does that mean you out right LIE to customers.To clarify I’ve been to this store a few times to pick up any odds and ends my pup may need if my usual place is close to closing or I simply don’t feel like driving out to it. Today I called ahead to this store to make sure they had a certain food in stock, I had seen it there before but I wanted to make sure it was this location that had it. My partner called ahead for me and the lady on the phone outright lied to her after we stated the brand of food we needed. there was no patience coming from this store worker, you could tell they didn’t even check the aisles, look it up on their inventory, or check the website only a simple “no we don’t have that.” even if this were true it would be helpful for them to recommend something else to us (which they had plenty of things similar to this product). I went ahead and went into the store to make sure because I swore I had seen it and there it was… a pretty big chunk of their shelf was dedicated to it. It wasn’t even busy in the store so there was no need to rush the call to end it. Either someone needs to make sure these employees aren’t causing the place to lose business by lying over the phone or there needs to be some serious training involved when it comes to what they carry. I’m not upset that they lied, it could’ve been a mistake for all I know. It’s the fact there was nothing they did to even try to supply us with correct information. I’ll shop there for odds and ends but there’s no way I’ll trust them when it comes to relying info.

2021-04-11The staff is awesome the manager is awesome my baby dragon loves them. hes in chameleon really. And on their website they have a phone number for a place for reptiles that is also awesome because I called them and got some advice on what plants to put in his tank. Definitely check them out and go there and visit these wonderful sweet awesome people. Highly recommended 10 Stars#Dragonapproved

2022-04-05THE 2 YOUNG LADIES THAT HELPED US WERE BEYOND AWESOME !!! Went in 15 mins till closing and the 2 young ladies working 03/04/2022 were beyond helpful, understanding and very noticeable. Not ONCE did they mention it was 30 mins past closing, they both helped my daughter and I until we said okay we are ready to check out . Really wish I had gotten their names to add to this review.

2022-06-20Huge shout out to Whit behind the cash register. Some customers handed him a fake 100 dollar bill and he refused to take it. They gaslit him, then blame shifted and started talking badly to him but he maintained respectfulness and stood his ground. Bet they won’t come back with their fake money again but other locations should be ware.

2020-07-15My baby coco got into some mud!! I let her enjoy, but then took her for a bath at Pet supplies plus on Mopac. They clean for you before you use the tubs. So you know they are clean for you to use. There are various shampoos to choose from. The deodorizer shampoo does the trick! It smells so good!!!

2021-12-17I love this pet store and my pup loves it more! I shop in person and do curbside pick up and it’s always great. Bradley is the manager and he is amazing. They always have deals going on and if you sign up they send you coupons!
