I have an older dog who hates being groomed, & now that I work from home, hates being separated from me. The staff there treat her gently & with care. They go out of their way to make her feel comfortable. She only spends about an hour there. I wont take her anywhere else.
Petco consistently has a good selection of pet products. Their addition of human grade and vet perscribed diets - Just Food For Dogs, is the reason Ill keep coming back.
The fish section is way more better than petsmart, they looked healthier and happier. Megan( I supposed) have great knowledge about fish, she answered all my questions and concerns, this is my pet-store now!
The required process of walking a food prescription to the Petco vet so that they can write the info on a card… is a waste of my time.

Ashley is a horrible groomer! Left my dog looking uneven and didn’t cut his nails properly. The customer service is horrible there. I strongly recommend DO NOT bring your dog there to her to get groomed!

This store is always clean and organized. Stock is a little low, but it is like that everywhere. The animals look well taken care of here. Staff is great!
I always enjoy shopping at Petco! I was able to quickly find the items I wanted to purchase for my cats and checkout without waiting. The store associates were friendly and helpful. I also appreciate your store hosting adoptions for cats and dogs.
We are pretty new to having fish and have been struggling even more to learn how to maintain are aquarium especially with our wonderful Texas water but out of all the stores we have visited, and there are a few, this one has the best and most knowledgeable staff and a decent selection of fish. But most recently I was just about to start a new aquarium and told the guy that was working in aquatics about my struggles and had a bottle of expensive water treatment in my hand and he immediately stopped what he was doing told me his honest opinion on that product and recommended something else that was way less expensive and gave me a few tips on set up and preparing the new tank and I ended up spending Less then I planned on more products then I had come for on that trip. And today I came in to complete my tank with the final fish addition which I was not aware that it was a adoption instead of a full price and I really wanted to say thank you to April for taking the time to catch the extremely fast and hard fish I had come to get and never once seemed to be bothered by having to take so much time for a small sale. I will be a life long customer because of those two associates.
I took Kahuna in to have his nails trimmed, ears cleaned and be professionally bathed and brushed for the first time since adoption last week. Kahuna is 4-5 years old, has had several owners and fosters, and his first home allowed him to be an indoor/outdoor cat. We all know cats clean themselves and that water is a cats archenemy but from time to time they do need a good scrub down just like our dogs do, so when I found out that Petco in Allen off McDermott & 75 has a new cat bathing, grooming, and shaving program I knew I had to try it out. I can tell you cats arent the easiest creature on the planet to bathe from personal experience. The last time I made the mistake of attempting to bathe a cat by myself was back in college and I ignorantly thought I could get into the tub holding the cat... which resulted in every claw being implanted into my chest like a reverse backpack that wasnt going anywhere. Never again I said. The cool thing about Petcos technique is they put this small helmet over the cats head to keep water out of their ears and eyes, keep the cat relaxed with limited field of vision and keep the groomers safe from any stressed lions. The grooming team was very nice, was able to see me same day and assured me they would take great care of him. Paige delivered on her promise and Kahuna did NOT come home traumatized for life like I feared with all the changes hes faced recently. Instead he smelt like he slept overnight in a lavender field and looked like a handsome prize-winning panther. Thank you to the groomers who worked as a team to get him looking his best. Kahuna has already asked when we can book again. I highly recommend this grooming academy!
Everyone is nice and knowledgeable. Helped us get ready for our new puppy and set us up with the rewards program. When we came back to buy a few more things we forgot our card and our rewards werent set up yet so they looked up our previous transaction so we could get our rewards and use our coupons. Thats truly going above and beyond to offer great customer service.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Have a very large selection of betta fish and can special order diffrent types of fish for you.
Store prices are inflated. Have your phone ready to ask for a price match if you’re going to shop in stores.A few months ago I came in to buy cat dewormer which was listed as $15 on their website but it was $30 in store. Today I picked up a pack of cat food that rung up as $50 but was $42 online… thats 20% more. Plus their store was so disorganized, it actually showed a different price on their shelf.I don’t know how petco operates like this in 2021. Why make it harder for customers and employees when you could just match your retail and online prices? No other big box stores do this.
Your fish specialist doesnt know you his fish. try to charge $35 for a $1.49 fish ..Look at the picture on price tag..

My mini Labradoodle has a grooming appointment on 6/19. I was called not long after dropping him to let me know I could pick him up that he was not calm enough because they were so busy and had so many dogs. She did inform me that they didn’t cut his hair on his head but I could bring him back on a day that wasn’t as busy. I was very disappointed when I picked up my puppy!!! He had patches everywhere! I will never come to this location again. If he wasn’t calm enough to cut in the first place no services should have been done at all
One of the best petcos Ive been in for fish stuff. The employees take such good care of their bettas, I was shocked. Their aquatic section is bursting with plants, fish, and even saltwater coral!
I really like being able to physically go into the stores, and I know you dont want to hear this, but I find that a lot of the chew toys I would like to get for my puppy cost 3x the amount of Chewy.com . Seeing as how she is a voracious chewer, it is not cost-effective for me to shop there for those items. I sdo like the convenience of it being close by if I forget to get something important and the people are always nice. My son loves being able to see all of the animals

We take my sons dog to the Petco Grooming Salon in Allen and ALWAYS request Ashley. My sons dog is a very nervous dog, but he LOVES Ashley as she takes the needed time with him and does a fantastic job! I wont take him anywhere else....Ashley is the BEST!
The people restocking the shelves seemed super helpful. Unfortunately, the cashiers didnt seem too happy to be there. I also wish they had the prices clearly marked on the cookies by the front door, they are all bagged but nothing is marked. :(
My dogs love coming here and always look amazing after their grooming sessions! I always refer my Real Estate clients that are new to the area here. The best!
The store is great. However their grooming services are pretty bad. I took my Puppy there and they were not patient with him. They said he was not cooperating and after charging the full amount sent him back with no haircut. I was even ok with that. But I could not tolerate when he slipped from the table and they let him hang and didnt care to hold him so it doesnt happen. It happened a few times and I felt so bad for my puppy and had to ask them to stop. Be very cautious if you take your dog for grooming.
The entire process, from ordering and from speed of the order being ready was amazing! When I went in to pick it up, the lady at the front counter made me feel at home, and was very helpful in talking with me about the medicine I had picked up for my precious dog. We had a very pleasant conversation, then I was quickly on my way! It was a great expereience!

Do not go here, we were had a whole appointment scheduled and all shot records with us and we were turned away and told to come another day, they profile you if you have a big dog and you’re black they didn’t want to give us service after wasting time and gas to bring our Rottweiler to an appointment and he is not aggressive at all.

I have had my husky here every year for grooming. Usually twice a year and she loves coming. They do a wonderful job and the people here are super friendly.

Of all of the big box pet stores in town this is my new favorite, specifically for their fish department. Everything is clean, inventory is impressive and livestock is healthy and plentiful. I purchased more tanks than I could fit into my vehicle and these guys went well above and beyond to make sure everything made it to my house that same night. I drive past 3 other Petcos and 2 or 3 Petsmarts to get to this location and will continue to do so. Other big box stores need to pay attention to what these folks are doing at this Petco.Thanks guys!
I went to Petco Allen looking for an itch remedy for my dog. I spoke with Spencer, and he helped me not only to find a spray to help heal his sore spot, but also educated me on how to change his food so he could have long term itch free results. He was very knowledgeable, and very helpful. I really appreciate the time he took to help me find what I need to make my dog feel better.
This was easily the nicest Petco Ive ever seen. Very well organized and the selection of fish would rival some local fish stores. Everything from leopard puffers to mollies. A FANTASTIC selection of gourami and plants. Not to mention that in my 15 minutes there i had 4 employees check on me. Very good customer service in a very clean store. I dont live near this store but i will absolutely return soon.

This place is great and has everything you need for your pets. I visit them every time I need any fish supplies and they have a vast variety of freshwater and saltwater livestock.
Very friendly staff, we looked online for an item an the website said it was instock. We looked in the store everywhere but it was not on the shelves. Multiple employees helped looked for the item, even the dog trainer on site helped us look. After 30-40 boxes she found it! Lovely staff thank you so much!
Every employee greeted me no matter where I was at in the store. They also asked if I had any questions or need help finding anything. Not once did I ever have to look around for someone to help me. The employees seemed like they truly enjoyed their job. Have not seen that in awhile.
This is the best petco I have ever been in. Everything from the pets to the actual store, which looks like theyre remodeling, is so well kept. The staff is all super knowledgeable and informed. They dont have as many small animals out as far as furry things go but everything that they have is well taken care of and looks really healthy. I feel lucky I got a peek at where what looked like feeder mice were set up and Ive got to say they looked happy and healthy in nicely set up and clean tanks. Its a really great pet store!
I have been taking my dog here for grooming for the past 8 months. Today he had an accident (poop) at the place. They had the audacity to charge me double because of that. I can understand at least half but twice the amount??? Seriously. Never again. Not even a warning, next time this happen we will have to charge you for it. Learned my lesson.
Ashley in the pet grooming dept. does an excellent job with our dog. We are so happy with her great service and very positive attitude towards cutting our pups hair!
I found what I needed after realizing that I placed the wrong order online. The Petco Team member in store even applied the online price to the item I needed when I made the exchange to give me a discount.
Good customer service and price is decent. Im a little hesitant to take my dog because some areas on the floor are dirty and there are yellow spots on the ground all over the place. Aside from the floor other areas are clean and the customer service is great.
Had to wait a long time to get service in the fish department. had to wait even longer to check out my order. Lady at the fish department was extremely nice and helpful. It is not her fault that the store is understaffed.
They just renovated the store. I noticed they have more salt water fish and I havent seen it before. My daughters love to see there. It reminds me like in the aquarium but in small places. They have $1 goldfish adoptions. Reptiles on 25%sale. Clean women restroom. Friendly staffs who help customer. Always greeting customers when they come inside

Curbside pickup is so valuable during these times. Petco just needs to develop their app to handle check in and also school their staff on proper order fulfillment. Check the receipt against the number of items in the bag.Stores are always clean and tidy and have a good selection for every pet.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! Absolutely butchered our Goldendoodle! What was supposed to be a trim turned into a complete shave down.The first groomer gave her a good once over before going into the back and said, and I quote... “Oh this is nice she doesn’t have any mats.” So you just want us to give her about a half cut. We said yes sounds good, please do lot cut her like a poodle.Ok great, after that our dog was a bit hesitant going into the back (having never been here before) instead of trying to be friendly with her and earn a little trust all the attendant did was yank on the lead and not seem to even care. I had my fiancé step in to help out. Didn’t like their demeanor at all, not friendly not caring, nothingAbout and hour and a half later we get a call, “so I’ve been trying to get all the mats out of her and she has a lot so I gotta take her down a little more than half way” Ok so what happened to “she doesn’t have any mats” and a half shave is good??? And even after us repeating her name to them several times this lady still didn’t know it... called her Ramon instead of RAMEN (yes like the noodles). wow, again not friendly or caring. Knowing full well what was transpiring I simply said “ok” and left it at that.My fiancé goes to pick her up and BAM!! Complete shave, ears cut straight across like Dora the explorers hair and she’s shaved down to maybe a half an inch of fur!! No explanation from the groomers or any detail on how the appointment went or anything... wowSo we’re never taking her there ever again. Just a terrible experience from start to finish. Maybe if you’re working with animals which as we all know are members of the family you should be friendly and get to know the dog and there owners but none of that here.So needless to say but I am beyond irritated and done with this place.PS- sorry about the long review folks, just had to tell the entire story.
I really like this Petco. I searched everywhere for Advantage II for my cat and no-one carried it in their stores, only online. The stores that did have it were too far. I called this location and spoke to a nice young man who was more than happy to check that they had the product in stock before I drove there. I asked him to hold it at the front for me. When I arrived 30 mins later it was there ready to go. The young girl who checked me out was super friendly. Although nothing extraordinary happened during this visit, this store has what I needed, all the employees were very friendly, provided great customer service, and thats hard to come by these days.

Cashier was very helpful, we were asked more than once if we needed assistance love the layout of the store, we love that they has a cookie and treat cart for the fur babies. We are new at puppy parents we have two cATS and a puppy now cant wait to go back.
We needed catnip.They had a great sale going. I bought 4 big jars.The clerk helped us so much as I use a walker and couldnt get around quickly. How kind she was!
I really enjoyed going here for my pets supplies. The only reason I am knocking off a point is because of price, compared to Walmart and Chewy. But the service is great, associates are caring and overall my experience has been great. It’s convenient so I’ll continue to go but not for stuff I can find elsewhere for fraction of the price.
Petco really knows what they are doing when it comes to betta fish. They have a fish specialist who owns her own Bettas, so she knows what shes talking about. I have had nothing but good experiences here.They also provide a very high quality dog food that is affordable called Whole Hearted. It has the same ingredients as the premium brands, but is significantly less expensive!
Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. I go weekly for questions, help, and to buy new plants/fish for my tanks. They always take their time, listen, and accommodate to my pets needs. Grooming salon also does a great job.
I called ahead to ask.them go pull some items for me, & hold them @ the front, as I was going to need to hurry, & would have little time to spend in the store. They were very gracious & helpful. My 6 items were ready & waiting when I got there. All I had to do was to give them my PALS Card, Pay for the items, and go get right back in the car. Was Very Helpfull!

Decided to go there for some stock up after verifying their price match policy from the website, only to be told that they DO NOT PRICE MATCH Chewy, Amazon, and Petsmart because they are [Petcos] competitor.Ended up buying the stuff anyway, but everything was doubled the price (example: Petco charged $7.99 when competitor charge $4.09).

We were at the Pet Vet at this store today, and decided to shop here since we needed food for our dog. I usually dont shop here because of rude staff, but we were already here so I gave in. We bought food and dental cleaning treats, and once we got home we saw that the treats were expired! One has been expired for almost a year! The other has been expired for 3 months. How do you miss expired product for that long? I can tell they dont care about the health of my dog here. This was the last straw, and I wont be going back except to return the expired treats.
Been shopping at Petco at a few different locations for over a year now. They always have everything I need for my cat, they have rather good selections and varieties on products and decent prices. Sign up for the rewards program, gives you little discounts, reward dollars, coupons and promotions.They have their store brand foods and other things such as litter, Id recomend both, especially the refillable litter! Very cheap, clumps well and my cat loves it! The best thing about Petco is actually their price matching! Theyre very flexible on that! Also I love the staff, theyre very friendly and helpful at every store Ive been!
Nice and clean for the most part. Employees could only be bothered to help when you broke up the constant conversation they were both having but nonetheless we found what we were looking for only slightly overpriced.
We never have an issue at PETCO. We buy all of our dog food, toys, suppliments from you and even use your training. We have a Boykin Spaniel and he loves it there too! Plus the rewards are worth a great deal to us as well.
Was treated so nice by the staff there. The wonderful lady named Janet that checked me out should get a raise or something. What a awesome person! And young man that helped me with dog kennel was just so helpful. Thanks Petco.

By far the cleanest pet store i have ever been in the workers made me feel so welcomed, i felt that they actually care for your animals well being, very help full, the workers will happily carry on a conversation with you, after this visit with petco i will never step foot in another petsmart again
Petco stores will price match a competitors prices including their coupon offers. For their services like grooming or hotel if they have it, I was told it varies by the store depending if the manager allows it. I think a smart and helpful manager or employee would honor or match a competitor stores offer if the store wants the customers business.
I took my skittish dog in today for a nail trim and they not only treated him with the utmost care and patience BUT they also did a great job of easing this anxious dog moms heart. 100% recommend this store for any anxious doggos or dog moms and dads. Going back later today to sign him up for obedience classes!
Walked to door right at closing time. I didnt know the closing time changes to 8pm. The employee was very kind and allowed me to get the dog food I desperately needed.
I had a pleasant experience with Adam. He was very helpful and he accommodated my schedule time for training for my new adopted dog Cleo. Looking forward getting Cleo trained by Liz starting next week.
Very helpful, low prices for what I needed. Only thing is I got my dogs nails clipped and buffed shes been itchy every since. I bathed her, see no signs of fleas. Its quite concerning.

I took my puppy for grooming the other day and showed them a puppy cut and they butchered my puppy and left no hair on her body.she had ton of razor burns and she was uncomfortable for 2 days. The cut was not even. Basically they turn my puppy into a mengy dog. We couldn’t recognize her. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.
Poor quality of saltwater marine life. All fish were stressed, showing huge signs of ich. All tanks were caked with cyano algae due to poor water flow and circulation. Prices for the fish were 5 stars, but the health and habitat for these creatures 0 stars. Corals were priced very high for the health and conditions all specimens were in 0 stars. I gave you 3 overall stars only because the man refused to sell me a sick fish, and I can respect him for that and your located up the street in my hometown oppose to spending all my hard earned dollars in the city of Plano and Dallas. Please show attention to detail and maintenance these habitats and clean them, increase flow, do water changes often, and you will improve quality of fish. At that price, healthy saltwater fish in Allen is convenient for me to utilize this location for some of my purchases, but not until they work on issues. A very good friend started out at Petco, went on to own his own fish store. When he worked at Petco, their tanks were phenomenal, and they had exotic and exciting fish and corals compelling you to stop by and see what new amazing addition to your home tank you were making next.
Crystal does such an amazing job in the dog grooming department. We have a couple of dogs that require a little extra TLA when getting gussied up. They look beautiful!!!
Leilani Ann in the fish department rules !! Truthfully entails the entire store staff .. but the employees in the fish area are SO PATIENT. My kids lock in on ONE SPECIFIC FISH of the hundred in the tank .. & these guys bend over backwards to catch them. 🤣🤣🤗🥳😎👍👍👍

I went into the store in Allen and went to the fish department were I was politely greated. As I stared explaining that I only need a few feeder fish for a turtle the clerk tells me theyre out of the small fish they only have the med and large. Ok cool give me 5 of the medium ones. The other clerk had walked up front to help other customers at this point. So I take my bag of fish that should cost around a buck to the front counter to check out and its the clerk that had walked away. I handed him like a buck fifty and said leave the change for someone else. He goes us you still owe me over 2 dollars. I go what I got the medium feeder fish theyre 19cents each I got 5...how do I owe you more money? These are the large ones( remember he walked away and didnt hear the whole conversation) He proceeded to tell he was there for the conversation I owed him a little over 2 bucks and called me a liar in front of the customers behind me. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and guess what...it was him! I gave him his 2 bucks and told him I would never be back
Its great it has everything you need for a small pet like food water habitat cages and even toys i got my pet lizard there a phew years ago and it has been awesome. Who would have thought that they sold meal worms and crickets just for the well being of their animals.
Petco has the worst fish stock ever. $80 spent over 4 weeks, all ended up dead. One trip to a reputable aquatic store, and our aquarium is happy.
Had to figure out how to set up a tank for a bearded dragon ask the girl what you need she said you dont sell stuff separately but I found stuff that I wasnt sure what to get I felt like nobody wanted to help us anyways have a blessed day
This is one of the larger PetCo stores.. very well arranged and most pleasant staff... I actually arrived on adoption day and had a blast visiting all the Little Ones . Its clean and well lit as well.. I enjoyed shopping there that day.

I was trying to purchase an item and do a price match but the lady at the cashier gave me a hard time, rude attitude and even raised her voice at me.I will not support Petco any longer specially since their items are 2x - 3x more expensive than other pet stores and they won’t even price match like it says on their website.
I got a great deal on my dogs sweaters and they were available for pick-up the next day. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful.
I visited just to look around. I wasnt really shopping for anything in particular, I was asked if I needed help with anything twice but I didnt need it at the time. But when I did have a question I couldnt find anyone available, but no big deal it was just a curiosity question and they were actually helping people that needed help.

Petco is OK. We go there when we dont feel like driving up to Stacy and going to Pet Smart. We used to go more often but they decreased their selection of the kind of food we buy for our dogs. Their prices are also not that great. Often Pet Smart is cheaper and Amazon is cheaper for many of the items we buy, so we go that route.
Petco crickets KILLED my bearded dragon within a week!!!!I went in to get crickets for my Bearded Dragon, and what should have been a 5 minute trip (assuming the store wasnt crowded) turned into a 30 minute ordeal. I wasnt greeted, and when I finally found an associate she was more concerned with testing water levels and answering another customers question, regardless of the fact that I had asked her assistance first.When she finally took time out of her busy schedule to help me, she seemed unconcerned with my needs and had to ask me multiple times how many crickets I needed. Her attitude was horrible, and I was really displeased with my visit.To top everything off, the crickets were infected with a parasite that KILLED MY DRAGON a few days after he ate them.I will never shop at Petco again, PetsMart is cheaper and has better quality items and a staff genuinely interested in my needs. They should consider themselves lucky I dont pursue some form of neglect charge.
Sad, saltwater section was in poor condition. They need someone in there that understands the needs of fish and corals.
Staff was very rude and no one was willing to help me find anything. And when i ask theme were something was tbe gurl said they didnt cary it but i kept looking and found what i ask her about but she was to busy on the phone to help me .
The three employees there were doing the best they could but yall really need to get them some help. They were struggling!

Far as major pet stores chains I really like this place Im into fish keeping so cant really judge the other areas of the store but the guy that works in the fish section seems very knowledgeable about fish keeping an actually knows what hes talking about they also have a really decent section of fish an all seem very healthy excellent selection of aquarium supplies also
Dont like how they actually ask u for a tip , like I have 2 . So I said Im known 4 tipping when extra services r rendered. Im like this is a paid job already from Petco lol

Vet clinic traets my fur babies and TLC. Very nice and caring staff they take care when I have big concerns as well as routine checkups.
Overpriced everything, but great if you need something now. Check online, Amazon, or Target/Walmart first. Only use Petco as a last resort! Otherwise nice staff.
Friendly staff clean environment easy to find what you needmy biggest problem with Petco is there pet food its always so expensive but I will say the pet food they bring to the store is usually better than a lot of other stores.

I always bring my dog Charlie to them for grooming and every time they do an excellent job and treat Charlie like hes family. Highly recommend them

I stopped by to check out their cichlid assortment and OMG they are loaded and if they dont have it they can get it receiving 3 shipments a week absolutely phenomenal the employee that helped me Paul was excellent knew his fish and explained to me the fish wish list deal theyve got going I dare anyone to find a dead or sick fish in their gallery ansolutly amazing experience .

I bought Petcos brand of fish tank. The problem is they arent stocking the filter that is required. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift but the person I bought it for isnt the type to order online, and shouldnt have to. Just frustrated.
Im very upset that they never have a groomer on sight when I come in.... Ive tried to get my dogs nails clipped three times this week and its always sorry were short staffed today or sorry shes st lunch its absolutely ridiculous and horrible service. Wont be coming to this location anymore.

The lady working the register was amazing. She was nice offered my dog a treat and helped us with a tag.
Okay location, but the staff was unhelpful.There were random staples on the floor that I had to keep my dog from chewing because that can be extremely harmful in a pet store to animals. Didn’t seem to have been swept for a while. There were so few toys I had to ask where they were even though I had walked on that aisle before already.
Great service and one of the best grooming salons around. Wide variety of pet products, although they are a bit pricey as are most pet centered stores.

They sell a Betta tank that killed or Bettas!!! Its called Betta falls. DO NOT BUY IT. The girl behind the register said it is only for female Bettas, however it is advertised with male Bettas in it. Petco employees do not care about your pets.Go to PetSmart instead! They are friendly people and do not sell that Betta death trap!
I can only rate the fish area, as that is the only area I use. They guys there really know their stuff and helped me setup my tank. My fish are well and they can answer any of my questions. And the fish are well taken care of. Only place I go for fish and fish stuff

I thought the store was clean, well organized and large enough I found everything I needed and was out in a short time.
Prices were a little high and I had a hard time finding one of the items that I needed, but they are usually pretty good. They are also pretty far away from me.

2022-07-01Tried out their mobile pet grooming and it was great! Kyle took great care of our 2 sweet girls and made then look great! one of our dogs is sound sensitive and reactive - he identified that quickly and was super gentle and caring with her. Overall price, I felt was reasonable for mobile grooming! We will definitely book with Kyle again!

2022-06-11The McDermott Petco location in Allen, TX is THE BEST. Highly recommend this location, as EACH of the employees are filled with heart and happiness. I visit the store several times per week and I always walk out with a smile. The employees go above and beyond to help you with your needs and make sure you’re serviced appropriately. The store is large and clean as well, but the main reason for this 5 star review is the employees! They are LOVELY.

Always friendly, ready to help & answer any questions Ive had (Ive had hundreds thus far since We are acquired a new breed of pets! 🤣) Props to the SM & all the Dept Managers for continuously providing excellent customer service 👏 🙃 . I travel to this location for customer service instead of the Plano location which is closer (but the Small Animals waiting for loving homes are just as adorable & Healthy at the Plano Location!) I will continue to use Petco Allen for our Small Pet needs/treats!

2022-05-17My dog Mystic had her first mobile grooming with Kyle today at the Davis Apartments at the Square. She loved it and looked beautiful. No anxieties afterwards. So nice to just walk downstairs and have her prance inside for her spa day!!! Thank you Kyle and Petco!!

2022-04-13My dog has not been the same since he came home from the grooming here. He is hiding under closets and beds shaking. He has never ever acted like this before. When I coaxed him out from my closet and started to rub his belly I noticed a very red, and bloody patch of skin in the folds of his neck. It was razor burn. They had shaved him bald and cut him. When I called the management said we cant see it in the pictures the groomer took but if you are unhappy with your groom come in for a refund. I got the refund but it will never make my dog okay. This is responsible and unacceptable. Do not bring your dog here.

2022-05-19I had horrible experience today with the groomers.I was come here with my little dogs all the time but last time they didn’t want to do my old little dog hair because he older and today I brought my husky and they didn’t want to do her grooming because she has anxiety. Even though I told them ahead in advance. How she was and they said it’s alright but today they were extremely rude and seem like didn’t want to big dogs or dogs who have any kind problems.They were rude with people ahead too.I won’t be bringing my dogs here anymore.

We have specifically asked this guys to trim the hair from leg,body and tail but they didn’t do anything and even after requesting to do that again , what they did was not satisfied at all…. They gave us unacceptable reason … Anyway never going here again…

2022-01-26A great place to find fish since I needed some for school. I got covid so I wasnt able to see the fish a lot. My experience could be better since I saw one slightly dead fish in the tank. Assistants would help you through the process of getting a fish and what you need if you are not a expert.

2021-12-13Wow- I just had *such* a great experience at this Petco!Ive been to several around the metroplex over the past few weeks, searching for aquarium products and this one blew all the others out of the water (pun absolutely intended!)I worked with a gentleman named Billy. He was EXTREMELY helpful: he answered all of my questions, even ones I didnt know I should have yet! He helped me find the kind of product I was looking for & made sure I *didnt* buy a thing that wouldve killed my set-up! (Whoops..!) Their aquarium section is GREAT- tons of healthy fish & plants. You can tell the people at this location *actually care* about what they do- it literally shows.I will absolutely be back in a week or two to purchase some shrimp & snails!
