Pieology Pizzeria in other cities:
1st time here this past week & I had heard so many good things about this place. I have to say it lives up to it’s reputation! Great variety of dough, sauce, & toppings. Pizza made quickly & efficiently with friendly customer service. Will be back for my lunch breaks more often!
Custom pizza made to your taste. They have all sorts of ingredients, and you have no limit as to what you can put in your pizza. From regular pepperoni, to artichoke to lettuce and cucumbers, you can truly make the pizzas your own.The workers are nice and friendly, too.
The pizza taste is good because you put what you like on it after fighting the pizza bar worker for almost forcing you to put oil or butter all over your crust. The pizza looks delicious when its given to you until you lift it and realize the bottom is crusted with the day’s ashes of pizzas already eaten. The floors and tables are all decorated with trash while workers are all grouped behind the counter talking about the struggles of the task I would imagine. The place has large of potential of success for years only if they find a workforce that cares a little and treats customers a little better.
First time checking out Pieology today after hearing so many good things. Im so glad. Got a thin crusted Margerita pizza and it was completely made in front of me from start to beginning. It was absolutely delicious as well. Also their fresh made lemonade was so good. Not too sweet but just the right balance.I also tried the cucumber mint lemonade and it was unbelievably good. I might be back just for the lemonade soon as it was heavenly in taste.Next time Ill be trying the make your own pizza. Today I was in a rush so went with something that was quick to order. But Ill be back soon for some lemonade and pizza.
I used to really like this location because they have a brick oven and a nice dinning room, but recently I have noticed the use of really strong Apple cinnamon air freshener being used in the dinning area. I used the women’s restroom and figured out why. Sewage!! One of the stalls/toilets is completely closed. The smell is so strong! There is a real problem and it’s being masked by the air fresheners. It’s so 🤢 gross. I am surprised the health department hasn’t closed them down. Perhaps if they read these they can go check it out.Oh and they stopped giving water cups. Now they make you buy a fountain drink regardless of drink. Service gone down and prices have increased.
Decided to give this place a try with my family this past weekend and we had a great time. Quality ingredients, excellent customer service, and delicious pizza.Cleanliness was subpar (floor needed to be swept, drink area needed to be straightened out), but a staff member did sanitize the tables after customers left. I love how there is a gluten free crust and cauliflower crust available. It can be pricey depending on your budget but then again, we live in COVID times people and that means inflation, and increased costs of everything.Overall, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and will be back again soon!
I just want to know in what world this is acceptable?I ordered this pizza on doordash and within my first bite I tasted charcoal, and noticed my fingers were black. Super disappointed I can’t send a picture to doordash support so I’m posting this here. Clean your ovens! This is disgusting. Other than this the pizza would have been great…
Tonight my pizzas were a simple disaster!!!Yes, it was slightly busy BUT there was NO reason for all 3 pizzas to be undercooked! I bit into one of them outside and it was tepid. Ugh!!!They made one thick when it was supposed to be thin. I had to bring to one of the employees attention that you DO NOT put a dirty used spoon into a new fresh container bc that is against food handling protocol. The employee was bothered. Oh well!!!This was my 3rd time EVER getting Pieology and now Im not too keen on returning.
The first time I didnt even finish my pizza was because of this restaurant. The flavors taste almost non existent and the price was terrible, they gave my my pizza while it was still not ready and a bit wet . Tastes like someone poured water on a good pizza which is a shame.
Pizza is great! Staff is okay some of them seem like they don’t want to be at work today some are on it and willing to work. But how do you run out of cups for your guests to drinks while they eat they did Have some bottle drinks but personally I don’t like Jarritos drink and the selection was very limited. Makes no sense go to Sam’s or Costco and buy cups for your customers to purchase drinks too drink with there food!
Food was way too expensive and the pizza was really watery and undercooked. The dine in area was dirty, had several tables that isnt cleaned up and the environment wasnt welcoming. Not to mention the staff was so unhelpful for a first-timer like me. Definitely wont be coming back again.
Had the Vegetarian Gluten Free pizza, with my much needed new way of eating I was glad my husband found Pieology, the pizza was so delicious, perfect size, fulfilling and more than enough, plus the price was perfect! $12! They have plant base Meats I plan to go back and try. I will recommend Pieology. Went a second time and customer service was great 👍 Thank you!
Dont bother with this location, staff needs more training and basic customer service skills. They dont bother with numbers on orders like other locations and gave my pizza to someone else. Mistakes happen but they couldve let me know and confirmed the ingredients instead of simply telling me it would be out in a bit and guess what I wanted. Restaurant wasnt busy yet it took them longer than usual to bring it out. Since they didnt bother to ask the ingredients again, they forgot I asked for Buffalo sauce instead of red sauce, only some light cheese, and missed another topping. Instead the pizza looked rushed and with little topping amounts.Hate to sound entitled but an apology would have gone a long way as I understand mistakes happen but if they had confirmed ingredients and apologized I wouldnt be writing this.
My family and I were very impressed by Pieology. Think of it as the Subway of pizza. Customizable personal pizza! I have a pork allergy, so this was perfect. Got to choose chicken and veggies as my toppings without sacrificing taste. Their house salad was fresh and so tasty. Wish I had taken pics, sorry.
Great experience and pizza. Great drink selection too. The dinning area needed a little more attention, and the prep area was not that organized. Where they have the ingredients it was a mess, they should care a little more about preparation area.Update: 8-11-19Again, great place to enjoy a fresh made pizza, but still four stars because this time the employee preparing our pizza looked a little mad at something. It made us feel a little uncomfortable asking for toppings.
Just horrible service. Placed an online order for pickup and was made incorrectly. Manager that could refund my money was not on duty. Stated that a refund would take 2 to 3 days for online order. So now I have to wait to get my money back. Extremely disappointed. I wasted my time, my money, and the gas to drive over there. If you go to a place and they get your order wrong would you be upset? Would you make a scene? Someone has to take responsibility right?
Ordered online for curbside pickup. No instructions on how to notify them I was there so after waiting for a couple minutes I called but nobody answered. I ended up having to go in but because I dont have a mask they wouldnt even hand me my pizza. Insisted theyd bring it out. By the time they did we ended up with cold pizza. Crust is flavorless. It would be better if the pizza was at least good but its very disappointing. Not worth the money or the headache. Wouldnt recommend.
Spent over half an hour for my one pizza, waited for them to call my name out like they did for everyone else. I finally walked up there wondering where my order went only for the girl up front to look at us confused. She went to look at the boxes of pizza and said, oh yeah its right here. They had the wrong name on the box and they just scribbled it out and put our order name. You couldnt have just called out the correct name if you fixed the box?
Worst customer service experience, first off some guy wearing a jacket covering up his name tag was very rude and assumed I was going to ask for regular cheese instead of vegan cheese. He literally wasted a good pizza crust because he didnt ask a simple question. Not only that it was not busy at all and they gave my pizza to someone else. I understand mistakes happen I get it. I work in a food industry as well I get how busy it can get and mistakes happen. But the girl bringing in my food instead of apologizing she just said yours will be out soon. I saw the other customer bite into my food all she had to do was apologize and explain the situation and just make a new one. Instead she just lied about it. The manager needs to get there staff in order with building better customer service skill sets and try to be more organized. Worst pieology Ive been to.
At first I was wondering if the cauliflower crust would actually be healthy and would actually taste good. OMG The cauliflower crust is amazing! Tastes like thin pizza. It’s just amazing the ingredients all went together, you get to pick but they were so many choices! I highly recommend!
The store ran out of deep dish crust, didnt inform me until after receiving my order. Employee made my pizza with Pie Rise crust without my consent. Employee did not provide me with $0.50 cent refund for the price differential. Not much of a difference but its the principle that counts. Employee did not give me a receipt. I purchased a drink in store, employee did not give me a receipt from my drink purchase. I was unable to scan receipt to use as points on the app. I dined in, the Employee did not bring any napkins when delivering the pizza to the table. Not to mention that staff do not greet customers as they walk in or acknowledge customers as they leave. Maybe my expectations are too high but customers shouldnt have to lower their expectations.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cauliflower crust pizza and the possibility to go nightshade-free, which - unfortunately - I have to. All the options make it easy even for a person that has to stick to a strict and quite difficult diet to put together a very scrumptious pizza.
I love that you can put whatever you want on your pizza. They have great choices for just about every diet. I was doing a cleanse in which I could only eat vegetables at one point and this place was my saving grace with their cauliflower crust, vegan cheese and protein options. Plus they have the best lemonades.
Ive visited similar concept restaurants and I love the fact you basically make your own pizza. However, I did feel like the service & food taste was below average. The A/C mustve not been on, because the entire place was not comfortable. Not to mention they dont have blinds or tinted windows to help block out the sun (probably why its so hot). What bothered me the most was how dirty the whole place was. Both behind the ordering counter and in the dining area. The employees also didnt seem to care much about anything. Not sure Ill be returning.
Please dont forget to hit the like button below for this review after you finish reading, so Google can credit me and all your local guide reviewers for all their hard work! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Perfect pizza pit stop. Tasty ingredients, nothing wrong here with service or quality. On point. I came here with my good friend Bianca the day after Christmas, 12/26/18. We had a nice time eating the good pizza and talking.
Delicious make your own pizza, like subway. Great ingredients done fast. The only thing I would ask for, is for them to have signs with pre-configured pizza options so you dont have to guess what taste good with what. As a tip, search the ingredients of the pizza u like and start from there
Delicious vegan options the cauliflower crust is so good, they also have vegan cheese. Only drawback is every time I go and request plant based protein they run out. So Im happy they have a demand but I wish they were able to keep up with it.Great food and drink options
A super good place to eat pizza, 100% recommended. Is almost like a subway but on pizza I love it 😍😍. They have different crusts and a lot of toppings. On the drinks they have to improve more they need more for kids. The prices are right, And the best thing theyre fast. I love almost everything. 😍😍😎😎🍕🍕
I ordered online like normal, I am very very particular on my food because of FOOD ALLERGIES. My husband went to pick it up and they can’t find the order. Ok fine. Then he brings it home and it’s made completely incorrect!! I can’t eat jalapeños. I literally had to tear the pizza apart to get them off. I tried calling NUMEROUS times with absolutely no answer. This is insane we never had these issues with ANY pieology ever..
I was in El Paso for business trip and was wondering what should I eat. When I saw this pizzeria, i thought it would similar to other pizzeria and I should try something different. Not sure what clicked in my mind and I went inside. This is the best pizza I have ever had. You can add your choice of toppings with tons of options, multiple sauces, fresh dough and they bake it on fire. It tastes so yummy. Staff is really good.
Fantastic concept.....build your own pizza.Food is outstanding.Staff is good, HOWEVER, it would be nice if your first point of contact, (the crust person), would acknowledge customers in front of him/her , even if they are busy.ACKNOWLEDGE your customers!!!!!!Ive brought this to managers attention, but he seems to not care.🤔
The best custom pizza place. Over five different crusts. Thin, deep dish and cauliflower are some of them. You top it the way you want with as much as you want for a reasonable price. If you dont feel creative just select one off the menu. Need a dessert just all for the Churro pizza, yummy!
My family and I really enjoyed this place, reminds me of the chipotle style of service. You have your choice of 6 types if pizza crust, cheese, sauce and a variety of toppings. The pizza is baked in a giant oven, that has plenty of room for a lot of pizza. Our pizza pies where brought out to our table in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot, our sitting area was adequate. The location we went to though does need more sitting area, do to the high volume of people that frequent the place. This place has great tasting beverages aside from the regular fountain drinks, like cucumber lemonade.
It was definitely a different experience from any other pizza place, one thing for sure is that I will be coming back and recommending it to anyone that has not tried it. Only downside is that we got a lousy cashier that ended up getting mad at us for her mistakes. Other than that it was delicious and a fun experience.
The pizza was OK. Everything well cooked. They use the thicker yet smaller in diameter pepperoni. You will pay about $9 for one of there small size special pizzas. However if you are looking for something different in terms of order options, this place will do it for you. They are also conjoined with another resteraunt. So if you get there and find that you didnt want pizza after all you can go to the other eatery that I believe is to be affiliated with Pieology and still remain in the same building.
Ive had pizza from Pieology before in various cities and locations. The pizza is normally really good. This time around, I tried the one at El Paso TX on George Dieter st. First off, the place was very, very hot (temperature wise) inside. Seriously, my wife and I could not feel the A/C at all. Second, the restaurant is mainly made of clear windows. So between the sun blaring through the windows, the hot big pizza oven, and the lack of A/C, it was super uncomfortable and we had to take our pizzas to-go. Even the guy employee was sweating so much he had to keep wiping away the sweat off his head. The pizzas we ordered were decent. My wifes pizza was undercooked and the dough was still not fully baked. Overall, 5 stars mainly for Pieology in general since the pizza is normally real good. 1 star for this particular location.
I love these custom Pizza places and Pieology is one of the best ones. There is also a Poke sushi burrito spot inside too.The ingredients are really good and the bread is so good! Especially when its crispy! Make sure to keep your eye out for unique ingredients like Carnitas (which I had here), chorizo, and others because they add lots of meaty greasy flavor!Enjoy!
It was my Wife and I’s first time coming to eat at this place, when it came time to pay for our pizzas, my Wife told the cashier to charge us for 2 Pizzas. My Pizza came out first and we waited 20 minutes for hers. It never came out and we had to ask what happened to it. The staff had no clue what happened to it. They said they’d make a new one and it would take “5 minutes.” Then they forgot about her pizza again. The food was good but after almost an hour of waiting we lost our appetite and the pizza was still cold. Not the best experience for our first time eating here, very unhappy with the service and food.
I’m not sure I went to the right place. But this was the worst, worst pizza I have ever tasted. Part of it taste like school pizza and the other side, they burn the flavor off. I should have listen to my stomach - “Peter Piper, Peter Piper” . Good thing about this place, it’s shares spaces with a Poke place.
Ive been here three times and it has been the same. The line at the start is troubling with the wait time and also if the sun is going down hitting the window makes it uncomfortable. You order your own crust and what I appreciate is the cauliflower crust since Im a fat guy. The items are plentiful and you get a good serving amount. The wait time is quick yet the dinning area is small which creates another uncomfortable variable if you go with a group of 4 or more. The taste is good and portion size above average. I will go back because of cauliflower crust but not a first choice. (NOTE: Whereever you fall on the tipping paradigm, I dont think that should be an option as you pay)
I order online and I get the order ready for pickup message so i go in and stand where online orders should be handed. And 6 employees there and non of them helped me 🤷🏻♂️ one of them making the dough 2 putting toppings and one on the phone. The other 2 were a girl and a guy, the girl was dancing to the music and the guy was in standing next to toppings looking at the toppings and not doing anything 🤷🏻♂️. My order was ready but i stood there for 3 minutes just waiting until the other guy who was actually working gave me my order. It is my favorite pizza in EP but these 2 employees are stupid.
What horrible service. My we were not greeted, we were not spoken to, we were barely even looked at. I was ready to walk out but my friend really wanted their pizza so we ended up staying. Only after this exchange between my friend and I did anyone bother to ask if they could help us. We were there at lunch rush, but to not even acknowledge that we were waiting for service is unacceptable. Will not be back to this location. Pizza is good, but the service is unforgivable.
This place is sometimes 5 stars, but the last time I went there was during a busy time. They rushed the pizza out to me before it was actually cooked. Now Im afraid to go back again because a place is only as good as the worst experience you expect you might get, unless that is extremely rare. But that was only my second time there.
Pizza is good, but customer service is horrid. Twice weve been to the George Dieter location and twice did the employees treated us like theyre doing us a favor, complete with annoyed expression and slow service. Gave this place a second chance, only to confirm that employees behave like theyre volunteering/working for no pay. No pizza is worth being treated disrespectfully.
This place was sooooo disorganized considering the quality of establishment theyre clearly shooting for.Think of a Subway but for individual pizzas, except in our experience the line workers kept getting our pizzas mixed up with the group in front because they were in incorrect order for some reason, so the group in front of us was building our pizza regardless of the fact that we brought it to the workers attention several times. To top if off, the girl in charge of saucing the pizzas left the line several times during our order (once to hug and talk to a co-worker who was leaving, once to text, and once to get more sauce) during the process of putting sauce on a single pizza (mine) so it took well over half an hour just to place our order. They were out of straws and lids at the self serve drink area, all the parmesan cheese shakers were empty, and the trash can was overflowing despite workers walking by it frequently to deliver orders. That being said, the pizzas and drinks were very tasty, once the order was delivered we received the sauces we asked for VERY quickly, and the manager seemed to be very involved on the line. I will return in a few months once they get their act together, I believe the issues to be related to a relatively new staff and restaurant. My chief complaint is the amount of cell phone use by most of the staff which I think heavily contribute to the issues.Manager/owner, I appreciate seeing how active you are in daily operations, and how clean the line itself seemed to be. 5 stars for flavor, -2 for the above issues
Pieology is a good chain with great pizza. Not so much El Paso. A very un friendly staff that didnt know what all the toppings were. I asked a young lady about Turkey sausage in her reply was Turkey like Thanksgiving? The rest of the staff was too busy on their cell phones to do anything else. The Building was extremely hot and we decided after a few minutes to leave. Not the Pieology I know. SMH!
After placing our order we found it difficult to find a clean table to sit at. even though we both put in her orders at the same time we receive our pizzas five minutes apart and that was because I went to go ask about it. They ran out of clean aluminum pizza trays to put our pizzas on. By the time we both begin to eat our pizzas were cold.
The manager just stands around ( especially when there’s a mess in store) and is not very friendly. A few things: we saw a man open the red pepper and stick his fingers inside the jar ( gross). We have gone a total of 3 times, this last time was pretty awful. They were out of their teas on both pieology and poke and the soda was gross. The place looked so dirty.Stick to the westside one, staff is friendly and place is pretty clean. As far as red pepper, order packets instead.
Really good pizza. Im a forego the vegan cheese because once its exposed to heat it has a texture of softened Bazooka Joe bubble gum and no fewer than fifteen tictacs. That part is on the cheese company and not the pieologists. The pieologists are knowledgeable and definitely dedicated to making sure each pie is what the guest wants. The jams were all bumps and I cant wait to get stood up on a date here.

2022-06-26Pizza was good but this place is a fast food type of restaurant. They ask for a tip before delivering your food or service. I came during lunch and I paid $21 for a personal pizza and a drink.

2022-06-19Good build your own pizza , you tell them what you want, they actually build an bake it for you.Nice options from conservative to creative souls.I personally like the mango lemonade as a go to .To call it the subway of pizza sells short the potential of your ideas.

2020-04-20I was skeptical at first but when I took the first bite, WOW!My experience here was nothing short of amazing. The staff is eager to help you and they patiently wait for first timers like me to make up their minds on what they want. There are tons of options for people on any kind of eating plan. But the thing that really made the whole experience as good as it was is that the pizza is DELICIOUS. I have never in my life eaten a better pizza, ever; not even in Chicago. It tastes so home made! I came back to El Paso some weeks later after my first visit and I had to go back to Peiology. Amazing, amazing place.

2022-07-15Love coming to this Pieology because of it being cooked over an actual flame vs an electric oven. The flame definitely adds more flavour to the pizza. Never had any issues here.

2019-06-24Great place to take the family for a custom pizza .Well prepared and the very good.Price is responsible and service is quick. What took the longest was picking our toppings.Kids had the meat combination with (Yeah) pineapple! The crust was really good. Toppings were fresh and the watermelon ice tea was very refreshing.

2022-07-21I feel this place deserves no stars at all!! I should of known something was up. I tried calling this location an hour and a half before they closed (7:23). They close at 9:00. The girl that answered the phone was acting like the phone wasn’t working. I gave the benefit of the doubt to the girl and decided to drive to the location anyways. I wanted to try this place out. I live far and I went to the George Dieter location and I ordered two pizzas to go from this place. After a while a young lady gave me the two pizzas. I trusted that the server was going to give me the correct pizzas so I drove home. When I got home, I was ready to eat and when I opened the pizza box I saw that they gave me the wrong pizza! I was so angry, so I decided to cal back and the same person that answered was still acting like the phone didn’t work!!People like me try to give these places a chance and get disappointed when these things happen!! Not going back, tomorrow I’m requesting my refund!!

2019-03-06The pizza is good. Very well made and I like that they dont have a limit on the toppings. The staff is incredibly courteous and the Cucumber lime drink is the best. They also have ALLOT of Vegetarian options so thats a huge plus. I give it 4 stars because the deep dish was really really burned and very raw in the middle. So we couldnt finished that one. Also the restaurant is always dirty, the tables are never wiped down. There is always trays and there is no place where you can put the trays if your done. So you have to leave them there. Its probably because they dont have enough staff to clean the restaurants because the place is ALWAYS full. Other than that. Its good.

2022-01-24I have tried this place twice, both times I had a different pizza they were delicious
