Overall had a great time, but only giving three stars due to some issues with their Catering/ Events team. Brought a group of about 12-15 people and had a contract, but was told one thing and reality was apparently something different when we got there. PINSTACK was fun, but if youre bringing a group make sure you get everything you want in writing because they seem to have issues with communication.
Definitely a place you must go to if you want to have fun in Allen, TX. My family that consisted of 3 teens (16, 15, 14ys old) on this trip had a blast. We did spend a small fortune, but to have so much fun with your family, its TOTALLY WORTH IT!! Staff were friendly, but we had to get the attention of someone at the bowling desk because 3 staff members and not one acknowledged is for LITERALLY 5 minutes, so I finally made sure I got their attention. Thats the only reason its not a 5 star.. they dropped the ball in that area.
This location is a great venue for birthdays! I booked this venue for my daughters 13th birthday and it was fun! Shoutout to our host, Yvette and manager, Maxmilian! Yvette was great and made sure everything went well. From the event manager, Maximilian checking on us ever so often, to the host and her other assistants checking with us if we needed anything....we felt very special and they made us feel like they appreciated our business. The food was great and the kids had fun with their 2 hours of games and attraction after the party. I highly recommend!
Our server was absolutely amazing and tried his best with the busy tables he was given. The bartender however wiped his nose with his hand and proceeded to pick up the candy for our drink WITHOUT washing his hands and placed the candy in our drink!!! When asked to remove the drink from our tab and to take it back he rolled his eyes at us.***EDIT: The manager handled the situation wonderfully and disciplined said worker. Our server also came by to personally apologize. Due to their professionalism I raised the rating.
VIP area not only has its own dining area, but the dining area is separate from the private bowling lanes, so others bowling in the VIP dont disturb you.The staff was very attentive and the fajitas were very good. First time at Pin Stack and if I lived in the area, Id be back!
Do not come here. By far the worst experience I’ve had at a bowling alley in the last 15 years. After the first frame the machine seized up and would not dispense pins, we waited 20 minutes for the issue to be resolved only for 5 minutes to be added back to our time. Adding onto the complications the lane conditions were atrocious with no oil and balls crawling down the lane. After another 15 minutes, calling service and taking multiple trips to the bar to complain, our serve Keely finally showed up with 30 minutes remaining in our hour. She took our order and finally returned with our drinks 15 minutes later. The next time we saw her she gave us our ticket without asking if we needed anything and left. After another 2 minutes she came back demanding a form of payment while we still had time left with 2 hours prior to close. After receiving blank stares, she stormed off annoyed not to return for another 25 minutes after our time had concluded. It took multiple trips to the bar to ask to close out before she finally returned to our lane.Never come here, and if you do and Keely is your server you’re better off leaving.
Superbad experiences more than 5 machines dont work and the machines take your points and when you ask for a return your points the person in the counter says no you dont play that game and I see how the machine take my points so them they insinuate that you are a liar
Decided to take the family for bowling, at $38+ per hour for a lane you expect a great experience. Got our lane, sat down started setting up and a kiddo across from us accidentally knocked over my beer which broke the glass and spilled the beer all over the floor. Took about 5 min to find the waitress, let her know he accidentally knocked over my beer. She was completely disinterested, gave the folks next to us their drinks and did not come back. I grabbed another waiter and let him know, said he would get our waitress. In the mean time we had to grab napkins from everywhere / anywhere to place on the floor so that we and our kids did not have to step in the spilled beer. She did finally come back and asked us if we wanted anything else, we showed her the floor and let her know again our beer was spilled. She brought back a beer (that she charged us for) and never did anything about the floor. At $150 for an hour and a half and poor service will not be coming back, and you should not go. Find somewhere better.
This establishment did not live up to my expectations! I was expecting a fun, wholesome environment but sadly, this place did not deliver. The food was sicken and many of the games did not work! I was expecting more!! FYI my little billy had explosive diarrhea at home after consuming your food!! WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!
What a terrible scheduling policy! We called 48 hours in advance to book a birthday party with 10-12 people and stated we cannot make reservations during the week, but should be perfectly fine to show up and get a lane. Call day of and they tell us no lanes are available due to a “scheduled” private event. Find else where what a joke!
Went to this place on a company outing. The chicken and some of the hamburger served was raw. Not just raw but VERY raw! A few members of our team got very sick after our conference due to salmonella poisoning. The managers gave our team All Access passes to the arcade to apologize for serving raw meat but when we made it to the arcade, the All Access cards were not actually all access! They only worked on a handful of games in the arcade. When the leader of our team approached the manager about this issue, we were told that All Access actually only meant the games with blue lights. I do not recommend this place!
Its very new feeling. Restaurant and full bar.Ordered a soda and the bartender sold me the higher priced refillable drink cup without asking. I took advantage of it, but still. No biggie I guess. Still got the cup at home! Bar was not attended quite often though. Odd for a Saturday afternoon. No more than 5 minutes of waiting for them to show up. Not horrible. If you are looking for bowling, games, and Lazer tag all under one roof, its a good spot. If you only are looking for one or two of those, might be able to do better elsewhere. Arcade is decent, but DNB has better for the premium prices they charge. The place has plenty of business. We could not get a lane (high traffic time). So they must be doing something right. Probably wont go back just due to what we got for the prices. I dont mind premium, but not blown away. But give it a try. You might be more impressed.
If I could give negative stars, I would. I’ve never been here. I’m a volunteer coach for a 4th grade girls team. I was told by another coach to order a king pen pizza it would be fun. I called a month in advance and asked if I should book an event. They said typically Wednesday nights are not busy don’t worry about it. So I went in and got 15 game cards courtesy of the coaches. I walked over to the patio area to order the king pen pizza . For fun and 15 kids drinks for the party. The waitress was immediately rude like she could not be bothered. She said what beverages do you want? I said I didn’t know because the kids were playing so I just said sprite. Can they come up and order what they want when it’s time. She said yes. I said here’s my card she said I’ll open a tab. Come. To find out she just dropped 15 souvenir cups full with sprite for the kids. Of course they all just grab it. A few spilled them almost immediately. 3 asked for water instead. When trying to settle the bill I said. I’ve never been here before I thought we were getting kids beverages. Some of the kids didn’t drink or keep cup. The answer was you saw the itemized tab receipt not my problem. I said that’s really unreasonable I was trying to give 15 kids cards and set up an award table I wasn’t dissecting the receipt . I asked for the manager because this was just really an unreasonable response. Plus they added 25.00 tip when she didn’t serve anything she took an order. I had to go pick up the pizza and serve them . I had to get plates they only provided 7 I had practically beg for more. The parents and I asked repeatedly for napkins they only gave a few. Plus I was trying to clean up the soda girls spilled. It was kind of a nightmare. Parents were trying to help but they wouldn’t give us paper towels or anything. Finding staff took a long time it’s like they just kept disappearing. Finally I got very fed up and asked for the manager because this was a ridiculous bill. That didn’t go any better and I was met with the same attitude as the waitress. I realized I was unaware about the cups but I specified I had never been there before and I ordered kids beverages. I was told after by the manager kids cups don’t exist they only have souvenir cups. I said well that would have been nice to know before . They kept saying you got the itemized tab. I said I realize that but I thought it was a place holder till kids could choose beverage. But all fell on deaf ears. We left 7 full sprites /souvenir cups on table. I waited to speak with a different manager but refused to sign the ticket as it was. Then the “ same manager” threatened to call police on me if I refuse to sign. I said then call them but I’m not refusing to pay my billl, but I am refusing to pay this amount. I’m asking you to be reasonable and told everything again. I said I know for a fact 3 asked for water and your waitress was rude to the parents. Rolled her eyes. He finally agreed to take off the 3 cups but only after about 30-45 min of dirty looks and laughing in the corner. I’m not an unreasonable person. I worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years. I understand this work but the waitress was not informative or pleasant. The manager wasn’t much nicer. I did not pay the added gratuity but I did pay still an astronomical amount for beverages. As a volunteer coach for youth team. I’m deeply disappointed in the lack of professionalism at this location.
Honestly, this place has gone downhill so much. The last 2 times I’ve been, the service has been terrible. The employees do not want to do their job. It’s absolutely disgusting because they don’t want to clean. They are workers that see you request service just walking around on their phone watching YouTube. When it’s 2-3 hours BEFORE closing, anything you ask for is convenient just put away. You’re lucky if you even get that far to have someone actually come help you. When you go and ask for help, they are very rude. Don’t waste you’re money here.
Paid $120 to bowl an hour and half. Ended up spending more time waiting for the staff to fix the lane from stuck balls than bowling. After 30 mins I approached a manager who moved us to the VIP lanes. Nothing more special than having a lane that is functional. I didn’t get more time added. I got what I originally paid for. 🙄This place is aging and nothing has been done to maintain the equipment, yet of course prices have increased.
Very fun experience. When i went in on friday night around 10:30pm there was a waitlist f9r the bowling alley. But while waiting there are plenty of fun things do do in the arcad eincluding lazer tag, wall/rock climbing, raceing, classic arcade/carnival type games and much much more. Even if y I u have to wait for one things there is always something else to keep you entertained so no bordeome or frustration there. ^^ They also send you a text to your phone to let you know when you are able to get into tge biwlling area so if you are busy doing one thing and might not be able to see kr hear that a spot is avalible they will let you know through message. Very convienent.
None of the staff know what they’re doing, the laser tag guy cussed us out. They don’t know how to make change, they can’t do math, they still your money, all the workers are like 14, do not come here if you want to have fun. It has rlly weird vibes and everyone is creepy.
Bowling was great but the service was horrible. The lady asked me once if I wanted anything then never asked again she tended to the other family first. I had to call by my bowling to kiosk to place my order. Then the person who delivered my food threw it on the table half of my food landed off the plate and they forgot my fries. 🙃😐
Very exciting atmosphere, tons of fun to be had. Everything seemed clean. Food was pretty good, definitely much better than other bowling places. Bowling, rock climbing, laser tag, a cool “sky track” obstacle course, bumper cars, the prize room looked like they had good choices. Just wish they had a dance dance revolution machine!!!
This was the worst possible day ever. 1. The machine took my points and didnt let me play the game so i had to go and get my points back. 2. We had to go up the counter 5 TIMES AND COMBINE THE CARD POINTS OVER AND OVER again. 3. The staff member cant hear. If you see this the owner of pinstack you need to fire them or get thier ears tested
We had a Awsome time for my Birthday there Saturday. We got the private bowling room very Nice place to hang out with friends & family. The food waa great and service was excellent. This makes our 3rd party there and will be having more. We Love the atmosphere and its an over all great place!
Took over 30 minutes for drinks. Food was brought without plates. The lane next to us was broken for 40 minutes+ with nobody checking on them. If being understaffed is a problem then more employees need to be hired as the customers are being left alone. Ill try another location but will not be returning. Not the service I was expecting from the vip lanes.
Waitress, the only one at 1pm, hussled with a wonderful smile. Nachos with brisket were good, but needed more queso. Street tacos with pulled pork were too light. Haggard farm salad was very good. Brunch - Eggs Benedict and Stuffed French toast were hits. Actually, we had a good experience... there were platers helping the one waitress.
Brand new place. Very entertaining. Good beer selection. It took over an hour to get to lanes for our large party of 10 with no reservation. But the wait was worth it. Staff were very friendly. Bowling lanes were very good. They have the longest foosball table I have ever seen. It can engage up to 20 players!! Dont miss it.
My boyfriend love coming here since our first date together. One night, the lost his ring while bowling. It just flew off his finger. We let the managers and staff know. They could not find it that night but they called me and let me know that they will look under the bumpers on Tuesday night. AND THEY REMEMBERED ME!! Such great customer service! They called me and asked for the description then sent me a picture of the ring he believed it to be from his personal phone. Rudy assured me that he locked it in his office and we can come pick it up anytime. Staff here is always so friendly and helpful.
This was a nice outing for my husband and me. We were on a waiting list for 15 minutes. So we play other games in the place. The people are nice and helpful if you need them. It is clean and smells nice. We really enjoyed the user friendly screens for bowling. We will be back with our friends!
Really cool place with good lanes. Did a company Xmas party there in the VIP section, really cool experience. Nice buffet style food situation going on, although I always find it inherently awkward when someone is serving me.. still tasty. Nice whiskey selection at the bar and a cool arcade area as well
Went to main event last week, then Pin Stack this week so I got a good look at the difference. Pin Stack is better. To qualify what I mean, Pin Stack was cleaner, had a better Lazer tag room setup, also had bumper cars and wall climbing that ME doesnt offer near me. And the video games were newer and all worked. And finally it was significantly less expensive than ME.
Made my first visit in for a leadership team building play date recently. We are in the dining room and received excellent service. I arrived late, and still had my salad served and eaten by the time everyone else was ready to pay out and move into the game room.We enjoyed the variety of games, and took advantage of the ropes course, climbing wall, and bowling. The staff at the Allen location were courteous and helpful. Great experience!
Great experience. Great atmosphere. They had a waiter call off today, so the manager Jeff was busting his butt making sure all the guests were taking care of. Saw him all over the place, waiting, serving, bar tending, cleaning. Was a very nice guy. And the lady at the shoe counter Melanie was very nice. Very helpful. Was very sweet to our daughter. Couldnt ask for a better time here. Will definitely be returning. They also had all kinds of deals. Today we had cheaper bowling prices. But they also have good happy hour deals. Definitely recommend.
My kids love this place. It took a while for me to figure out the ticket system, but once I did, I prefer it to the oldschool ones that spit literal tickets out. Its easier to carry a card with everything loaded on it than hundreds of tickets. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. My oldest loves the rockwall selection, which has a range from beginner/easy to hard. The claw games are rigged a little, but mostly in the positioning of the animals, and not the actual systems settings, though a couple are set to a higher difficulty in that respect as well, which should be expected. The littles love the laser tag. I cant comment much on it because I havent been inside to see the setup. They also love the bumper cars, though there isnt a lot of room to move in there.. there is a ropes course suspended above the arcade that my oldest enjoys as well. Its a little frightening to watch, but they are harnessed in and secure. The food is good, but nothing to boast about - mostly overpriced. The bowling lanes are easy to use and the seating area is comfortable. The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere, other than it being hard to hear yourself think because of the other activities going on next door during busy times (the arcade / bowling - which is, again, to be expected). I do love the outdoor seating area and the giant chess, though Im not sure if that portion is currently open due to COVID-19.Overall, a little pricey, but a lot of fun. We cant wait to go back again.
No stars but didn’t have that option . I always go to los colinas location but I’ve been hearing good things about this location so we came here . The bartender was rude and careless. To end off our night my wife seen keeli in the bathroom getting high . She dropped her product right next to the stall of my wife and she confirmed it was her once she walked out . I ordered 2 drinks which were made both incorrectly. I walked up to her to ask her to fix them and she told me this was not her job until it get rerung in by my sever . Then she blew me off to ask manager to go smoke . She did this to another customer asking about cheese fries that came out incorrectly she turned them around to go find their sever instead of grabbing plate and taking to kitchen. This girl is a junkie with a job . Never returning and if she is the person helping u please expect the worst . Very slow and careless of her job . So sad .
The food was mediocre, but honestly I didn’t have high expectations. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, but the buffalo chicken wrap was eh. The bartender was good and made a very good Moscow mule 🍹 our server was good but would often disappear for 30minutes at a time..I was surely disappointed with the arcade games. At least 4 times we swiped our players card on a game, the card read, but the game didn’t start, essentially eating our points. We had to find an employee to help us redeem those lost points. The ticket games are over priced and don’t pay out well..
Enjoyed the Arcades with the kids on a Friday summer afternoon. Got to ride bumper cars, basketball arcade game, kids loved the car racing arcade games as well. Loved the Mario games as well. The fact that attendants were continually walking around for any assistance was ni w when we had an issue with one of the machines that wasnt working and was immediately fixed.
We love coming to this PinStack! We have come twice this year already. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, there to help for anything you need. The cleanliness is great. Love the bumper cars, 2 story laser tag, and customizable bowling. Thanks, PinStack! PS- the food and drinks are also dynamite. Highly suggest the pesto sandwiches and Brisket loaded potato skins.
Nice clean lanes. Before 2pm on weekdays its only $10/hour per lane. Shoes are $5/person. Everything is constantly sanitized and disinfected. Servers are always nice. Whenever were in a rush to add more time because theres only 2 minutes left but we want more, the people are very speedy because they know how important it is to keep a game going. My favorite place to bowl.
The ambience and the bowling was fun. Wish they had a more diverse music selection. We were there for about an hour and our waitress didn’t approach us not once except for when we first got there when she introduced herself. We hit the request waiter button twice and no one came to see us. Yet she did go to the other people in the lanes near us. It made no sense. Service needs to step it up and we were in the VIP section.
This place is great when you can bowl... this rating is for the FOOLISHNESS they are using to reserve a lane! I shouldnt have to pay $100+ for 2/3 people for 2 hours because your prehistoric system showcases only prices for 8 people including shoes! What if I have my own shoes?.... Im still being charged for 8 pairs of shoes!.... and you cant come in to reserve a lane???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!??? At least thats what the mgmt said🤣🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️.... yall HAVE to do better you have a great product! Just make it more convenient for your customers
Stopped by for lunch break with my kids. While they played, I decided to grab a bite to eat. 2pm 10/11/2021. Male bartender provided horrible service. Left area and complained to manager on duty (Diana). Didn’t even eat due to experience. Changed my mind.Other than that, my kids had fun and all other members of staff were great.
Kids love this place, super fun arcade area, many claw machines, overhead obstacle course, bowling, and more! We are vegetarian and the food is not that great at all. Both quesos have chicken broth in them FYI. Pizza is very mediocre. Hubby liked his beyond burger. Kids liked the mozzarella sticks.
“VIP” is a joke! We paid extra for 2 “VIP” bowling lanes, the VIP room was empty when we got there except for the 2 lanes next to ours that was full of drinks/plates etc. that needed to be bussed, along with the high top table. There were servers standing around but no one actually bussing the tables. So I had to take it upon myself to bus at the very least the high top table. Our “VIP” server was non existent. It took about 30 mins to get 2 basic margaritas. I had to go out to the bar and find the bartender to remind him that we were waiting. Our group was a group of 12, we had asked for water when we got in. We got 1 pitcher and 6 cups. When we ran out of water I had to take the pitcher to the bar myself to get it refilled since, again, service was non existent. Another person in our group had asked for water later and the response was “I gave 6 cups”- which is great- if our group was 6 people, but since it was double that then we were obviously short on cups. We will never come back to this establishment and definitely NEVER pay extra for the “VIP” lanes with supposed service.
This is a cool place to spend time with the family or friends. Its a bit expensive, but thats just my personal opinion. They could improve their prizes, both variety and prices. Theres slim pickings and everything costs a bunch. The candy was all old and gooey. Bowling is always fun and service is great.
We were looking for a family dinner with flair so we went to Pinstack. They were not busy. It was a late Tuesday night. Turned out all appetizers were half price , late night happy hour. We got lots of food and had fun together. The service was slow. Maybe ask for a pitcher of whatever youre drinking, water, soda, beer, so you dont run out. The chicken wings were our favorite. The salsa is meh and so were the nachos. The $20 burger is yummy and we just split it between several people.
The place itself could be great. There are a lot of arcade games to choose from and there are plenty of lanes for bowling. The reason I’m giving this place 1 star is for poor service. It took them 30 minutes to come to our table to ask what we wanted to order. Then when our bowling lanes were ready, they said they’d bring the food to us over there... It took them 1 hour to bring us our food. Fair enough, they were busy right? But when they did bring our food, we were missing one order of Buffalo wings. It took them yet ANOTHER hour to bring us those wings. All the while nobody came to check on us to see if we needed anything. We had to check on our order 3 times. When they served the food the waiters didn’t even bring silverware either or napkins. If you’re coming to this place, my advice is- eat beforehand. The wait is NOT worth the food or money.
Sorry, while this place might be great for the games for the kids and drinks for the adults, but it is the worst place to go bowling for real bowlers. It must be ok for the novice since they dont know any better. The floors are sticky, the approach is awful so dont think your going to slide to the line to release your ball. Will never go back to bowl.
Roughest bowling place Ive been to ever. I wouldnt be annoyed if I didnt have to pay the peak price of over 70 dollars and have the lanes broken more times than my girlfriend and I were able to bowl (mind you two lanes). We also had the unfortunate mishap of sharing lane space with a ton of rowdy kids who were consistently letting balls go into our space and overall disrupting our evening by putting our balls back on the rack etc. It took three managers to deal with this. The first just simply moved us onto another lane. This wouldnt be a big deal had we not also be moved from one broken lane to another. Second manager had zero resolution. Third manager could only offer free game cards. If Im upset with the experience and lack of respect given the upcharge to bowl, a game voucher is not going to entice a customer to come back. Terrible experience. I wouldve been better off paying less money to Main Event.
Extremely crowded and a little expensive, the food is good and the staff is alright. Every single card machine was either broken or out and nobody was around to restock them so getting cards took a while. With the right skills and tactics you can make enough tickets to get anything in the prize room
We went in on 09/05/21 for a night of family fun. We first wanted to eat dinner, but we were told there was a 30 to 40 minute wait for a table. However the restaurant had all tables open except for one. After 40 minutes we get seated just to wait another 20 minutes to be helped. There was only 1 waitress addressing the tables and working the bar. After dinner we went continue playing in the arcade where we wanted to ride the bumper cars. We waited and waited until an associate came over to assist us. Once he arrived his attitude said it all, he was upset and annoyed that he had to help us.This was our first visit and it was very off putting.
First time at any Pinstacks. The place itself is great. Arcade, restaurant with large tvs, nice patio, alley way is great. Unfortunately the service here is horrible. There are some staff members here who are doing their best but, due to other bad staff, it falls short. 2-3 people standing at the host desk, oblivious of whats going on. Some of the waitstaff are slow, new or just flat out bad. Tables are left dirty too long. Dirty dishes are left on the tables (customers have stacked them up). Our table had to repeatedly ask where our drinks were and for refills. The restaurant was half empty. We came here to watch the Cowboys play and then we were going to play games. Since the staff wasnt paying attention, the tv was changed. After we notified the hostess desk, they had no idea what had happened. The game was put back on quickly. Not sure if there was a manager on site, didnt notice anyone in charge. Have to say, very disappointed.
This place is big and plenty to do while there. We came to bowl but had to wait almost 2 hours to get one. We ate in the restaurant abs the good was good and hot. The waitstaff was a little slow and could have been more attentive. We finally got to bowl and the floors were sticky so it was hard to slide but we managed and had a good time. The biggest downside was that not everyone was wearing masks. Only about 65% of the people wore masks.
Took our nephews here for their birthday and had a great time! The only thing I would say was a little annoying was that the line in the shop to exchange tickets for prizes was very long because kids who didnt know how much things cost or how many tickets they had were trying to get too many/too expensive items. It would be nice if they required adults to accompany kids in that situation or had an extra employee to help out.
After checking into our lane we wanted to order some food and drinks. We used the kiosk to alert the waitstaff and someone came out with water and then disappeared. We alerted again and someone else came out said they werent our server but took our order anyway. We order the kingpin pizza because we have 2 teenagers who eat us out of house and home, not to mention my husband can put some food away. The lady counted how many was in our group, which was 6, and just sent us a large pizza. Our kids polished it off in less than 5 minutes and was still hungry. Why she didnt just send us the pizza we ordered we will never know. Then later on our kids wanted to climb the robes. No one was there and they were told it was closed. Our friend asked someone else why it was closed and they said it was opened and asked someone to help us. As were waiting in line a guy showed up and asked us to wait while he found someone to help him. The young lady near the ropes told me it was closed. I nicely told her that we were told to wait and hell be back. She got an attitude and said yeah but hes not here so its closed As I was started to tell her someone was just there seconds ago he came back and that was the end of that conversation. We thought it was going to be great because of the reviews but it seems like we got a really bad group of employees that night.
This has to be one of the best places to go bowling in North Texas. There are plenty of activities and great food options. The wait times are pretty long on the weekends though and the prices are insanely high. The only way we can reasonably afford it is if we go during early bird hours.
Great bowling experience. Went with my 5 & 3 year old boys. Also great assortment of games. Only major dislike is the prizes. You all need to refill the prize bins. Everything below 75 tickets was out and unless you have 500 you cannot get anything basically. But if you just want to bowl and play games not win prizes like my boys did, great experience.
We visited this place last week for a birthday party. All of the staff seemed so nice and accommodating. Our younger son has autism and sometimes has trouble comprehending how to operate the games. The reason for this review is because there was one young man that stood out and I fervently hope that this establishment recognizes what a jewel they have for an employee. I asked for his name and I believe it is Alfred Chetham. I hope I spelled that correctly. He assisted our son with riding the bumper cars and was so kind and compassionate. Let me say that we have been to a lot of indoor activity parks and establishments and they usually recommend that our son just not ride or partake in the activities because they do not want to assist or rules forbid them from doing so. When Alfred stepped in there to help with moving the bumper car around, my son smiled the biggest smile. You cannot put a price on that kind of happiness. It literally left me in tears. Thank you Alfred for assisting our son and helping him experience the joys every other child gets to experience. You are an amazing person and an asset to this company. I hope there are more like you and I hope that Pinstack recognizes that they have someone with amazing work ethic working for them.
Restaurant service is non-existent (literally.) The restaurant is empty and they have a waitlist? They told us the wait was 20 minutes. Then of course waited 1.5 hours and were never seated. Ended up ordering pizza from 5th Street Pizza! Btw, this is not a kid-friendly place. There are people drinking everywhere and nobody says anything.
Pretty awesome game selections for not being a big arcade. My kiddo enjoyed their time there. Game card prices are affordable. Paid a dollar for a game card and 20 for 100 points. That was enough for several games since the cost to play most games were only 5-8 tickets. Rock climbing is 20 tickets and ropes course is 24.
This could get long winded... Honestly my expectations were much higher than I feel I ultimately got. I wanted so much from this place. But it all boils down to a simple bowling alley, with an arcade section and glorified bar food. This venue only does online reservations and if you want to wait 3+ hours then you can. The prices are EXTREME and the customer service is horrible. The one bright spot was the manager, J on duty that extended the time 10 minutes so we could finish 2 frames without buying another half an hour. We felt it took that long to get set up and get in our place... But the time was counting down. They made us pay for 2 pairs of socks $4.34... After paying 225.00 for 2 lanes for an hour and a half. I know main event does not charge you for socks. The service we got at the table was not prompt, actually the ladies attitude glowed through her fake smile and chatting with her friends was more important than caring about her customers. We ended up getting our own drinks from the bar. This is the other bright spot... And the bar tender (female) got the appropriate tip. This place was NOT packed when we got there at midnight and stayed until close. There is a police officer on duty here, he seemed friendly and happy to be there. Just unsure as to why they needed him there? Games were priced inline with Dave& Busters. Food was meh... But we paid oof for it. Overall, 3 stars is all this place deserves. But it got the job done and we did have fun. The lanes were great, videos on the screens was fun and the quick ball retrieval and pin reset made the time fly by. If your looking for lanes, Plano Super Bowl is kick butt and affordable. So are several other places that are bigger and know what customer service is all about. I would go back... If someone else invited me and I had to go. But after spending over $400.00 on the 2 lanes, food and drinks. I would not plan my next event there. I would not take, nor recommend this place to my family or friends. Maybe next time they might change my mind.
We love coming to this location and collectively have probably been upwards of 50 times and spent alot of money and time here. The kids love is and we generally get very good service. They manage the games well and not many are ever out of service for maintenance. Bowling is typical as you would expect, the vip section is nice as well. The only reason for the 4 star is because the game room selection is poor. We have earned over 80000 points but not a good selection or higher end items to select from. They should add in video games, consoles, etc.. stay with the market, mostly junk toys, and stuffed animals etc.
Horrible service... Had to wait 1 hour (no big deal) for a table, and then had to talk to a manager to get us a server... I understand that folks call in, and you may be short staffed, but we waited... We spent money at your establishment (on drinks, and games). Then, once we got a server from the bar, he wasnt rude, but extremely short and unpleasant... Probably because he was being worked to death with very little help...Great games, entertainment, and fun... But work on your personnel and logistics... Hire more maybe? Only saw 1 girl cleaning tables... Seriously??? You have a business in ALLEN TX!!! Do better Pin Stack!!!!
Absolutely awesome place! I could spend a whole day here (and come back the next). The place is pristine clean and service is beyond expectations. Arcade counts with variety, novelty, and relevant video games (for all ages). We spent the visit joining a friend and his kids celebrating their birthdays and the experience was amazing. Kids got two hours of unlimited arcade play, laser tag, bumper cars, climbing wall, and ropes course. The birthday party itself included bowling, pizza, and cupcakes. The associate that was helping with the kids was very friendly with the kids and courteous with adults. The ropes course is great, basically you harness yourself and walk through beams and ropes located right above the arcade. Kids really enjoyed playing laser tag but did not come back for a second ride in the bumper cars. For adults, the bar was well stocked and beer sampling was extraordinary. Our bartender held interesting conversations and made sure we were comfortable. I really liked the fact that there is an open space were you can look outside and get an idea of time of day based on sunlight. The bowling alley was stylishly dark, to the point were black light and disco balls can be appreciated but not too dark. Overall, the place feels friendly, clean, comfortable, and perfect for kids with attractive entertainment for adults accompanying kids.
Fantastic service! My wife was awarded a teacher of the month certificate that came with a gift card for bowling here. Unfortunately this all happened prior to the pandemic and the gift card has now expired. That didnt matter to the manager here. Not only did he still honor the certificate, but he provided us with a private lane in the VIP room along with a free appetizer and drinks for our family. Five stars does not do them justice. We will absolutely be returning!
So we had a situation at this location I don’t want to say because my husband and I both work in hospitality and we know what reviews do to a company. I just wanted to give a huge thanks to the manager or GM and the staff for making it right. They went above and beyond of making the situation right my daughter had a special day because of the staff being so apologetic. Thank you for what you do we will for sure be back even with “the situation “
Our server was really nice and friendly. Only thing is he accidentally got our order wrong so we asked him if we could get another pizza with the right toppings on it and he had no problem re-ringing it in. He was nice about the whole situation. The guy that brought our pizza out the second time, gave it to the wrong table, set it down for them to eat it before the lady told him it wasnt their order. So then he took it to the back and not even 5 minutes later brought it back out to us. (Keep in mind we were waiting on the correct pizza for 15 minutes so there was no way they made a new one with our right toppings on it in 5 minutes) We asked him if that was the same pizza he gave to the other table and he said yes. We told him we didnt want it anymore. He said well why not in a rude tone. I told him because he already gave it to another table. He didnt apologize or offer to make another one. You would think he wouldve been a little nicer than he was considering they messed up on our order TWICE. He was rude about the whole situation.
Pretty nice place to go to hangout with friends. The restaurant inside is a little expensive, but the burgers are really good. Not that many games and its a little crowded but they are fun to play with. I think they have 7 pinball games. Laser tag is better than adventure landing but lesser than main event. Overall a nice stay.
Great place for the whole family. Also great for date night. I went in to book a party for my son. The process was very smooth and quick. Details were provided by email and info regarding the cost was provided to me. I had the option of booking it online or in person. I chose to go in person because thats just my way. The event planner that I dealt with was very professional and courteous. I wish I could remember his name. It was a Hispanic gentleman and he was very nice. I will be posting a review after we have my sons party.
It was a GREAT way to spend a frigid Friday night! With Covid and some cabin fever my family and I had big fun at PinStack. It was the perfect place to get a little quality time together. The staff was friendly, helpful, and diligently cleaning up between customers in the bowling alley. I did see some cleaning in the gaming area but, to a lesser degree probably due to the volume of people going from game to game. Most of us ate before we went but, my husband wasnt very impressed with the food. He sent two things back for being salty. The beers were huge and the cocktails were strong so, Isuggest you eat something from somewhere. My children are grown but, yhere were plenty of families with small children throughout the place. One last thing. The bowling ball sizing was rough for most of us. Getting right weight and hole opening size for a ball was ROUGH! I have small hands and slender fingers and the Small hole size was TOO small. Other than that, you should have a great time!
Went here for New Year’s Eve , the staff wasn’t helpful at all, The whole experience was very disappointing. Bowling kept running out of time. The food was cold and not very good. Then with the package it included 6 game cards but wouldn’t let us combine the tickets on the cards together. I recommend spending your money at Dave and busters over this place.
Good place, they need a huge improvement in client service. They told us our wait was 30-45 min, and they have open lines, when it was our turn, they also were some empty lines. People at the bowling check-in need to be train in customer service. Restaurant was a nice surprise, good service, food decent. kids love the food. The arcade area is nice, but some games, like bumper cars area is too small.
Service at the bar was abysmal. Took over 8 minutes in a basically empty place to get silverware after our food came out. Had to flag bartender for anything, because he wouldnt check on his own. No one checked if we wanted to order anything from lanes either. Ill be picking a different spot for bowling and such moving forward as the one other time Ive been here (pre-covid) it was the same story.
The food and service was not good at all. There werent many tables so I guess I expected a bit better service. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins, salt, pepper, etc, basic items. We ordered a pizza, mac and cheese, and a salad. Again kept having to ask for dressing for the salad, the pizza was not very good. The games were fun. Overall, eat before you go!
Place is really fun, but service is absolutely horrible. Will stand at desk for 5-10 minutes as employees just stand around and look at you like they don’t even work there. And when someone finally comes to the desk, they claim it’s someone else’s job & they don’t know where the person is. First & second time we came a waiter/waitress came over to ask if we wanted drinks or food & took pretty good care of us. But last few times we have been completely ignored. Waiter will go to lanes on both sides of us and take care of the guests there but never come up to us like they used to. Have been 3 times now without anyone approaching us. One night manager is very nice and helpful, as he usually takes good care of us (haven’t seen him last few times though) while other employees stand around and talk at the bar or desk. Will still come back because we have fun, but will be sure to eat or have drinks before we come.
Clean building and great choice of games. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Their are many different events to do here from bowling to arcade games (low cost pinball), large board games, food, the bar, and much more. There was a wait on bowling but time went fast as we did other things as we waited.
Service was terrible. We had to hunt down a waitress to get our food order taken. How do you miss a table with 12 adults sitting there? Food came with no silverware and napkins. Same story for refills or any other thing you might want. God forbid that they would stop by your table every now and then to ask if you needed anything or if everything was alright. Horrible experience which made us all very furious. The arcade area is pretty cool and the children loved that, so if you want a place for your kids to have fun and if you dont need food or drink then this might be the place for you. Otherwise we are done with them. Cant stand overpaying for bad service!!!
Great place; the games are really fun. Bowling is now just a family great-together for a fun day. Their mozzarella sticks are great, but their drink selection is a bit slim. I quit drinking soda recently, and there was hardly anything I could get for myself. The floor is a bit sticky, by the lanes.Otherwise, great place! Have some fond memories there, and I cant wait to make more.
Super fun place to have our son try bowling for for the first time. Sophia was an amazing server and helped us a ton! She honestly was the only employee to really help. We got there and no employees were behind counter to help get a bowling lane. She started to help guests best she could do until someone came. A lot of employees just walked by before she got there and stared instead of maybe trying to find someone.
Great place for any day thats too miserable to be outdoors. Plenty of activities for kids ages 5+ and adults that are still kids at heart. You definitely want to make a reservation for a Friday or Saturday night as it gets very crowded. Modern bowling facilities that score automatically and offer some new game types.Food is better than you would expect in a place like this albeit a little on the expensive side. Full bar with great service that doesnt keep you waiting even in their busiest times.Check it out, I dont think youll be disappointed.
This was a great experience. There are so many fun things to do- video games, pinball, bumper cars, bowling. It was a weird mix of tiny children and adults, both trying to have a good time. There was a feeling of parents are at the bar and they let their kids run around unsupervised. But, it was still a great time.
Truly exceptional experience! The facility was immaculately clean. The only reason you didnt receive 5 stars is because there was an odd lingering odor in the facility.Everything else was amazing, right when you enter the establishment you receive an upscale ambiance with a unique breathtaking vibe that will take you back to your childhood memories. Customer service is top notch and theres more than just bowling. They have arcade games, rock climbing, bumper carts and more!!! A great place to bring the family or friends along to bowl and or vibe out. If youre looking for a spot that has it all (food, fun and more) this is it!Great PricesExceptional Customer ServiceClean Facility4 out of 5 stars
Game area is great but the staff and food is horrible. I loved coming here but the past two visits have been absolutely awful. On our last visit when we ordered food the waitress was rude and the young man bringing out the food was extremely rude and just gave me the food to pass to the whole family. Do your job man, I didn’t come to work for you. The food was ice cold and the cheese looked curdled, we didn’t receive any of our sauces or refills, the list goes on. So I told the manager and I was told that if I gave them 2 days notice before we came back I would be taken care of. Lol really no refund or apology and who in the world knows two days ahead of time when there coming to this place besides maybe for a birthday. Which we will not be doing anymore. Idk what has happens to this place. It use to be great but now it’s awful and that’s sad cuz me and family loved going here. But no more.
We had a fun neighborhood get together and rented 2 lanes for our party of 16. We had 3 food trays included in our coat, which was great and allowed us to snack throughout our event. However, the service was only okay and no one let us know that our food was going to be removed. We turned around to find that all our sodas and almost half of our food was gone! Someone asked if we could bag up the extra or take it to another area of the venue and we were told no. Big waste of food and drinks! Otherwise, the lanes and venue were a lot of fun!
We had an amazing time!!! We arrived at 9 had dinner, played the large connect 4 game while waiting. We wish we knew about the large jinga and chess outside before they closed, but we will definitely not forget next time. Laser tag and bumper cars was soo much.. (A must do for everyone). My wife did the in air obstacle course and had our entire group laughing while she maneuvered through the course.. Fun. Friends. And Laughter.. We had a good time!!
Great! Fun place for family. Offers bowling and arcade type games, rope course, laser tag, bumper cars, rock climbing all under one roof. Food is decent. The place is new so everything looks spectacular... Hope they maintain it well. We have attended 4 birthday parties here already since it opened.
Great spot for a relaxing evening. Good drinks and food that wont break the bank.Highly recommend the VIP lanes, especially with a group of Adults. Much more calm/quiet and is a waited area with a bar for barely any extra cost. Also the arcade is great.Have not tried the rock climbing, laser tag, etc but it all looks good here!

2022-06-14The bowling alley was great. Neon lights. Big screens. Well kept. It looked new. I highly recommend the bowling. Laser tag was pretty cool too. They had 2 floors! There is a bar and restaurant but we did not eat/drink.The arcade part was not so good. A lot of games not working. Felt like a waste of time and money. The bathrooms were a bit messy. Toilets not flushing.

2022-06-03Pricey, but fun place for video games. Cards are filled with points and each games varies in points. Its real easy to drop $100 on video games unless your constantly converting points to the cash value. Although, Its a good distraction from your everyday routine.

2021-10-24Good family fun including the longest foosball table I have ever seen its nuts! They have good music nice and loud during weekend glow bowling. Wish the restaurant had more options in general and some gluten-free choices would be nice at least a GF bun but they do have a pizza as big as a table! (check out pics)

2022-03-29We had the place to ourselves on a weekday, and had a blast. The food was somewhat pricey, but absolutely delicious. I appreciate the various options for bowling screens or games, too. For example, theres an Angry Bird version that kinda functions as the phone game does...picture you rolling the ball is pulling back and flinging the bird; certain pins, then, are the pigs. Hopefully you get the idea! Still, these games can be five frames...so, as youre starting to run out of time, try a few of these quicker games. While we didnt check out the gaming area much, there seems to be a wide variety.

2022-03-06The games are well priced and you dont burn through $20 very quickly. The food was decent considering bar food. We only did the appetizers, would absolutely come back to try the burger. Not great value for the wings but very tasty.

2022-06-30Visited this place for a bowling activity with friends, we had booked VIP Suite lanes for bowling on a weekend night. All the lanes were occupied throughout the time - that indicates prior reservation helps. The place was very well maintained. We had people from the bar come to the lane and take orders during the time. They were pretty friendly and staffs were always around to help when needed. They also had many indoor games, that were also kid friendly, many families were having fun with their kids.Their LED Rock Climbing activity seemed very unique & exciting and there were many people waiting for their turn.Definitely a great place to have fun with family and friends.

2021-03-21Great place for Family Fun, Individual Fun and Private Parties. All ages are Welcomed. My Lil Family and I Bowled for 2 hours and we had so much fun, that it seemed like 30 minutes. The Food was so good, that I only got the after pictures. Our waiter Ethan was AWESOME! He was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the Menu. Made it easy to order. They also have a Fun Arcade, Bumper Cars and High Rope Walk.I Highly recommend this place, if youre looking for a Good Time!

2022-04-03Very nice place, comparable to Dave & Busters, enough to keep both the young & adult children entertained! Downside- So, so busy! If we hadnt been VIP we would have waited 3 hours for a bowling lane! VIP- now THATS how you take someone on a date! Its small enough where youre not overpowered by the lanes, teams, craziness, etc. while also allowing close enough proximity where youre comfortable mingling & encouraging your bowling suite mates if so desired or keep your date to yourself and/or focus on your game (wink wink)
