Worst service of any Popeyes I have been to. Even before Covid, you wait forever to get your food. Went there last week after 10am, sat at the drive thru box for at least 10 mins, people walking in and out the back door. No one said anything. So I drive to the window, manger at the counter looking at her phone. I knew she saw me at the window. Never even acknowledged me. Then several minutes later, another worker came to the window to tell me they weren’t open. All the workers running around the building, not one person told me this. Terrible service. They need new management
This popeyes is very clean and their manager is super friendly. Will be coming back soon again.
Ordered a meal deal that consisted of chicken, red beans and rice, fries and biscuits. I asked for spicy and got all mild, the fries were lukewarm (from sitting under the hot light) and the biscuits were hard and no butter on top. This was the first visit to this location and I wont go back!!!
If you place an order for spicy chicken/tenders using the app, the full expectation when you get there 15 minutes later is to get the spicy chicken/tenders. I DONT want to hear its gonna be a while. I order ahead of Tim so that you KNOW somebody needs some.

The chicken was soggy at the bottom, and I ordered all mild chicken...I got a spicy drumstick. I didnt even get my receipt, they gave me an expedited ticket for another order. I spoke with the manager. He said to bring the receipt and chicken to replace it. I explained about the receipt and I was going through when I picked the chicken up. I came the next day and the same thing asking for the receipt. I will never go back to that Popeyes again.
Didnt have the non spicy breaded chicken. Had to wait 7mins. Then drive home with the smell. It tasted so good.
Good quality food. The order received is rarely correct. Employees are very polite when correcting incorrect orders though. The Alvin store can close up to 30 minutes earlier than the actual closing time, so keep that in mind when going to that location.

Chicken was delicious as usual but everytime I visit this location they are always out of something, this time was fries, last time it was spicy chicken sandwiches.. management needs to better on ordering their product
Recently I went thru drive thru & ordered 3 shrimp baskets.The shrimp were hard as stone. I didnt expect them to be like fried shrimp in nice restaurant. I did expect then to be edible though.Only upside was my dogs enjoyed them!
Stopped off to eat at our favorite chicken joint and we got screwed. Seeing we couldnt dine in we had to takeout. We ordered 4 meals,.. chicken strip, shrimp box, and 2 2pc chicken. We ordered spicy,.. we got mild. If we wanted mild, we wouldve gone to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Other than that, food came out fresh and hot.
This Popeyes is particularly slow to both take your order, and get your order to you. Ive noticed several times that it takes over ten minutes to get two pieces of chicken with nobody in the drive-through.I would say not to go there, but hey.. (whispering) its fried chicken.The chicken is usually hot as heck, and juicy and delicious. I tear it up on two piece Tuesdays.
Family that ordered right before us was finished eating before we even got our food. And that was only because we went up to counter to inquire. They cleared our order before fulfilling it! I had ordered a 2 piece white meat they gave me dark meat. Not much available at the soda machine...no ice! And a handful of choices, not even regular coke was available. Worse service I’ve ever experienced at a Popeyes
The food here is good--especially the new chicken sandwich--but if the service were any slower, theyd have to charge rent. We were there when there was only 1 other customer & it took 15 minutes after we ordered before the order of 2 sandwiches was ready. If we didnt really like the chicken, we wouldnt go there.

This is perhaps the best fried chicken I have ever placed in my body in my entire 26 years of existence. The seasoning and breading that is applied to the glorious chicken is utterly immaculate and juicy in my mouth. The founders of KFC and Churchs have spent the entirety of their measly insignificant lives attempting to accomplish what this humble and superior kitchen has done. Lets not even talk about the mouth-watering Chicken Sandwich that was released just last year, because I could spend the next couple of days giving it the credit it deserves. While the government and professional scientists were attempting to create a cure for COVID-19, Popeyes created a masterclass sandwich that not only brought peace to the world, but true transformation and character development. If you have not tried Popeyes yet I highly encourage you to take the liberty of replenishing your bodily fluids with this oscar-worthy chicken. It will truly change your lives.
The staff was friendly, and the food was good, hot, and fresh. My only complaint is I had to wait a long time. Normally this wouldnt bother me because I am a patient person, but it nearly made me late getting back to work and I allowed myself more than enough time. I plan on visiting again, but only if I have all the time in the world at that moment.
Food is cold a lot of the time and although every other Popeyes is open inside they are not, and this makes for some long wait times, and seeing how most of the time Im delivering from them and only eat there if Im really hungry

Its Popeyes, of course its good. If you just were to judge it on the outside appearance you might not stop. Its definitely worth turning a blind eye to the parking lot which is in need of a cleaning
Absolutely horrible service. I go in there for a biscuit and get an attitude. Yes it was only 1 biscuit but I needed to get something quick and always liked the biscuits so thats what I wanted. I order and hear the girl and in drive say shes coming in here for a biscuit? Really? Rude as all get out. If you dont want to do your job then dont get one. A customer deserves respect no matter how much they spend. What a bunch of idiot losers who want to get paid for standing around doing nothing.
They open at 10am. I walked in the door at exactly 10. ZERO food prepared in the store?? They said it would be 15 minutes. 35 minutes later we finally received our order. Get it together people.
Chicken was ok. Mac n cheese worst Ive ever had. More like mush n watery cheeswiz. They packed my side dishes as soon as I ordered but chicken came fifteen minutes later. Then got part of order wrong..Then told me thats what I ordered..put it back in for some other poor soul to eat. Got my food and a dirty look to go! Great customer service.
Drive tru service was great, but the food was mediocre. The fries were stale and not warm. The beverages also were not good. They were watered down.
I had the most pleasant Experience waiting for my food!! By far the best customer service. And this was the drive thru. The women that took our money at the window went as far as to offer us something to drink while we waited and we didnt even order a drink. She truly made this an unforgettable visit to popeyes!

Lady who attended us at the window was super rude and didnt know what dark meat was. We werent given any silverware napkins or sauces. We were served EXPIRED coleslaw. The receipt was ripped in such a way that we couldn’t provide feedback online.
Very rude drive through staff, even ruder manager. Apparently you can only get a 3 or 5 piece strips in spicy...but not anything more? That makes no sense at all. The rude service or lack of is the worst though
The people are always very nice ,but when I ordered a 16pc, no side with biscuits. I told them I was getting the chicken and my daughter was making the sides because it was my husbands birthday 🎂 and his children were coming over right after picked up his granddaughter and coming over. Well after all the phone calls making sure that we get enough chicken for everyone. Well we get home and I was getting plates ready and my husband said, out of 16pc they gave us 8 wings.
Voodoo tenders are awesome. However the spicy chicken sandwich was a letdown. One fourth of the entire sandwich was only batter, so if you were unlucky enough to get a bite of the sandwich ,that was entirely made of batter, it would taste like biting into a sponge that was bathed and smothered in grease. On the other hand, the Xtra thicc pickles and the spicy sauce almost saved it, but I think me and many others were unfortunately disappointed by the hype.
Ordered, paid, given no receipt and asked to wait up front for order. Waited 10 minutes, guy asked our order number...dont know, no receipt..other car..also given no receipt. Finally got ours..10 minute drive home..item missing. Tried calling so we can get item tomorrow and no one answers phone. Always been something with this location..use to go every Tues before pandemic..1st time back in months..same ol let down.
16 piece family meal and not one breast in the mix, mostly legs and wings. Asked for spicy, got all mild. I had to wait on the order and was incorrect anyway. It also wouldnt hurt to actually put more than a teaspoon of gravy in with the mashed potatoes.
You can never go wrong with Popeyes.
Staff routinely closes 15-20 mins before stores hour state. I get that you hate your job, but dont take it out on me. I need my chicken and Churches is gross.
Popeyes is the shiznit! Seriously, I do not know why I ever ate at any of the other chicken places! Popeyes is always fresh, crispy and everything I order has great flavor! This location especially has never disappointed!
At least they were nice enough to tell me they dont take phone in orders on Tuesdays (unlike the other Popeyes that simply just left me on hold for half an hour). Once I got there they were actually fairly fast.
Amazing staff. Very friendly and good food. I havnt had a bad experience there yet and we eat her somewhat often. The foods never been bad and the service always seems to be awsome. They also have one if those newer soft drink machines this isnt a selling point for some but for me being able to add flavors and stuff to your drink is.
Friendly employees. But their portions are not like other Popeyes. Very small portions, have to go back to counter to ask for condiments. Plus they did get our order wrong. Not a place we will go back too.
Do NOT work here. I REPEAT DO NOT!I worked here not all that long ago and out of every place i have ever worked this is the WORST job Ive EVER had! The manager is a VERY rude woman, she would often bump into me and push me aside without even an excuse me. Or a sorry she would call me at sometimes as early as 6 am to tell me if i worked that day and if I didnt answer she would send an employee to my house ALL INSTEAD OF JUST POSTING A SCHEDULE! shed have you work a double and not give you a single break. And for a GOOD while the space in which we had to put our belongings was FULL of black mold! And just fyi yall there was black mold in the ceiling and it also leaked which is why one of their Tvs were out for a good while. I have held this off for a long while but now when I go in there ti get food my order takes FOREVER! I can stand there and nobody will even take my order which is ridculous seeing as I am a customer NOT an employee. I am just giving everyone a heads up 👍
Ordered the 3 piece meal. Didnt get a leg, and the breast piece, meat was super dried out. Kinda gross.
I visited here recently and the restaurant was flooded from a broken supply line going to the tank on the toilet in the men’s room. We walked out without placing an order. I do not know anyone in their right mind who would serve food while their business is flooding from inside the bathroom. I took a look and the plumbing had been rigged with a very poor improvised repair using a cut water hose and several metal gaskets.
The steak and cheese sandwich from subway was delicious. after being ignored for over 5 minutes while waiting at the counter to place my order I left and went to the subway at the other end of the parking lot where I received prompt service and delicious food. popeyes was not busy at the time I was there, the employees were just being lazy. this is really a shame because popeyes does have the best chicken if you can get them to actually wait on you. this isnt the first time Ive left popeyes

I had to repeat myself over and over . It was as if I were speaking another language. I wanted an order of shrimp . No biscuit no drink just shrimp . They couldnt comprehend this . Finally I asked if they had an ala cart menu to clear the confusion. This snowballed the confusion. After about 3 minutes of trying to get through to the workers they bring a manager to the window . She knows exactly what I was asking for, but there would be a 7 min wait. .. I just left .

Worst service ever!! the guy taking My order kept rushing after each item ordered and most of the stuff on the menu they no longer served. When I got to the window a lady manager did not even greet us, she handed the drinks to me I advices her the drinks where incorrect she was upset and just poorer the drink out and ringed the cups and refilled them. Then she gave me my change and no receipt, I was asked to wait on the side once I received my food I went inside to ask for my receipt the time on it said 3:08 I was just leaving at 3:24. That is rediculus no apologies for the long wait nothing.
Went thru the drive-thru this evening. the lady taking my order was on her cell phone. she never hung up while taking my order. I got to the window to pay and she took another call on her cell phone from her mother. I know this because she held a conversation with her while taking my money. to top it off, when I got home (a 15 mile drive for me, I live in the country) my order was wrong. so not only does the building need to redone, and the cleanliness looked into, but the service is horrible. will be last time I go there.
The food is always consistent in flavor oh, Im not a big fan of spices so I always get the mild flavor, which to me is the best chicken I have ever eaten.
My whole order was messed up, I didnt get the extra 5 biscuits I asked for and paid for. And the sweet and unsweet tea taste like dirty dish water

Just horrible...one to work I stopped and got and order of the 10 pieces of the boneless wings they were soooooooo old and hard like they dumped old wings back into the grease to make it appear like a fresh order OMG!!!! On 02/24/2018 I went through the drive at the Alvin Popeyes at 5:03 PM. I ordered the eight piece meal with one large side. I chose the Cole Shaw. Got home and it was an order of red beans and rice. It was nasty.
Went there on 04/02/19 at about 630pm and sign on the door reads Closed due to compliance. Drive thru also blocked off. Interesting.

2022-07-19The chicken was good but they gave us spoiled coleslaw. I called and the lady was nice about replacing it. I also asked for no thighs and they gave me thighs anyway and they dont do the white meat chicken specials like some other Popeyes I have been too.

2022-06-19Had a large order, they had many in drive thru line. From the board i could see those in drive thru, had large orders too. I love popeyes, but i was disappionted in my 36 count chicken nuggets, not seasoned, the fries were cold. N when you spend as much as i did and had to wait. I would think everything should be spot on. Disappointed

2022-03-18Popeyes Flounder is the bomb!! One of the best fish sandwiches Ive ever had. There is a tendency to put too much spread and unless you like that much have it on the side or request light spread. Soooooooo good!

2021-10-01Best chicken in town. They were out of chicken legs so they gave me thighs instead. WINNING! I couldn’t decide which two sides to pick so the wife picked for me and like always she didn’t disappoint. Red beans and rice and mashed potatoes and gravy, the best. Love that chicken

2021-10-25We usually Love Going to Popeyes...Today We went through the drive thru. We Ordered the Special 10 piece, Chicken Only, Mild. The Server said it would be about 7 m8n for the Mild Chicken to Cook...We told her that was Fine. She asked us to drive !around to the front & they would bring it out to us. We Waited, & Waited & 20 min later My Roomate went inside with our receipt to find out what was going on... He attempted to get two different servers attention...Finally a Nice Lady Took Our Receipt & started to wait on someone else...He said at that point she must have realized how long we had been waiting & went ahead & filled our order. When he came out with our food it had been 35 min since we ordered at the drive thru.No apology for the long wait was included...if they had been real busy it wouldnt have bothered us so much...When we ordered 35 min before, we were the Only Ones in Line...During Our Wait we Watched 5 Cars Come Through the Drive Thru & Leave & 4 Walk in Customers Come & Go...They Just Plain Forgot Our Order & Us!NO APOLOGY!!!7 Min- 35 Min.

2021-07-04This place needs to close until they can fully open. The day I went only the drive thru was open, they were incredible slow despite the fact I had ordered in advance to pick up inside, which as I said before was closed. My drink was almost all ice, the shrimp was cold, the red beans and rice was delicious but only partially full.
