Presidio Apartments in other cities:
We have lived here over a year. I had not lived in an apartment in 35 years and I wasnt sure I would like it. But living here has been a blessing, I truly feel like I was brought here for a reason, and feel this is home. The ladies that are in the office now are wonderful. Vivian will go out of her way to make sure all needs are met. The new manager seems to care about the complex and all its residents. I have encouraged my friends to look at moving here when they get ready to move!
I have lived here for 2 years and I must say I have never met anyone more friendly and efficient at their job than Vivian in the leasing office! She always follows through with what she says she will get done and if unable to, always follows up. She has excellent communication and I’ve never seen her without a smile! You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She has gone above and beyond for me and I can’t say enough great things about her! Also, the maintenance team here is spectacular. I’m absolutely surprised how quickly they respond. I highly recommend Presidio Apartments!
This community was extremely well kept and safe before Tamera left 6 months ago. So happy Tamara is back, she will make this community feel like home again. Tamara, the office staff and maintenance are always friendly and quick to respond to any problems that arise. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others,
Ive lived @ presidio Apt (Allen) for over a year now and I must say I love it. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the apartments are very spacious w/ updated features. Maintenance request are responded to under 48 hrs, and the grounds are kept neat! After hours: The community is very quiet and peaceful through the night, on days w/good weather Kids are outside playing but in designated areas and not late @ night, you dont see kids all in the streets blocking parking spaces or possibly tossing a ball around other vehicles (which is great, goes to show you tenants here care about the surroundings as well as theyre neighbors) . Last but not least During the end of 2020 my company was impacted by the pandemic causing me to be laid off, Jarell & Tamara were heaven sent, although it was a stressful situation , Tamara was very understanding and helpful by providing helpful leads and working w/ me , Jarell became my borderline therapist lol and also provides assistance where needed, yes these are apartments, No its just not a business , its a presidio family :)
If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Management is horrible, when I move into my apartment literally so many things was broken & not printed properly also the apartment was filthy the day I received my keys to the apartment! I will never live here again cause I never lived in a apartment complex this horrible!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have lived here three weeks my floor sweats from the ac, now the ran water floods my apartment. I pay 1500 for a 2 bedroom that is inhabitable. They removed the carpet padding and left a blower. It rained again.my asthmatic allergy prone child broke out in hives. The manager came in and said the wall needs to be removed but continued to say it was habitable. AVOID AT ALL COST. She tested the walls for humidity and once the number jumped to 15 refused to get lower down the wall. They refuse to transfer me units! Or even compensate me. TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE LIVING. Wouldnt recommend. TAKE THE WARNING SIGNSFAST FORWRD SPOKE WITH MANAGEMENT COMPANYMANAGMENT DIRECTOR PROMISED REFUND....YOU GUESSED IT I HAVE RECIEVED NOTHING
Great place to live. The apartment complex is clean, parking is always available, and neighbors are considerate. Tamara and Vivian are very nice and helpful, they always strive to make sure residents are taken care of. This place feels like home and I intend to stay here for a long time.
Since my previous review of the apartments there have been some major improvements to and within the complex / community. Likewise there are still some lingering issues that are important to keep in mind when looking for a new residence.Pros:This is a VERY quiet community. In the ten years or so that I’ve been in the same apartment I have only had a few people nearby who were loud on occasion. In apartment living this tends to be expected. You can tell that the staff are trying to make an effort to improve the office / tennant relationship. I’m seeing a difference with the new portal where Vivian (leasing) is communicating quite a lot with the community and it’s nice to see the changes where the phone is answered more often than not by Eunice (current manager) and Vivian (leasing).Parking is plentiful and no issues finding a spot.In my ~10 years here I’ve NEVER seen any indication of pests within the apartments. Mostly bunnies outside but nothing else.Cons:For me there are only a few major cons when it comes to older apartments. The main one that sticks out would be the older, single pane windows. During cold spells the windows leak so badly that if you are roughly within 2’-5’ from the window you are able to feel a distinct difference in temperature from one side of your body to the other. This is an issue for anyone trying to keep their electric bill down.As for the appliances they are older as well and not very energy efficient. I’ve requested an upgrade to new appliances that they have used to upgrade / remodel the vacant apartments but to no avail. Conclusion:Overall I’ve seen an improvement over the last few months but as most places go it’s cosmetic and in my opinion it would go a long way to see structural improvements to things like adding new windows and security / monitored alarm systems to the apartments.
Friendly staff. Super organized and made my husband and I felt very comfortable! Vivian was especially awesome with us. Shared some laughs and she was the one who gave us a tour of our new home, we couldnt be more excited about it. Our phone call and visitation with her here was great! Very welcoming staff, recommend anyone and everyone to check them out!
Vivian was amazing! She made me fall even more in love with the apartments. Vivian is always so helpful and led me to writing this review. Normally, I am not one to take the time but because this staff goes above and beyond I simply had to share my experience. Reading through some of these reviews though is baffling and leads me to believe these people complaining just do not read their lease. The office is always very helpful and if I cant reach them over the phone a quick email is always replied to promptly. I have enjoyed living here and look forward to a long stay.
The property is prettier in person. Vivian handled my initial call and wide range of questions! She was not only helpful but very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything i asked in detail. During the tour of my new home, she took the time to go above and beyond what i was was asking and needing and that was a HUGE help! The entire staff was welcoming! Ive dealt with many apartment homes but the vibe i received from the get go with this group has been awesome. I would recommend them hands down!
Ive been here for 6 months now, and I have nothing but good things to say about Management and Maintenance here at the Presidio Apartments. I am always greeted with the warmest reception by both Ladies. It had been 12 years since I had lived in an apartment, so I was really behind the times, but Vivian in Management EXPLAINED whatever I did not understand about my lease, rules & regulations. Now Maintenance, when I put my service calls in...they are handled if possible IMMEDIATELY. WEEDO and/ or MR. HERMAN, these two Gentlemen I have had the pleasure of meeting, and their work ethics & service was impeccable.I am so grateful for you Vivian, and the entire Staff at Presidio Apartments South Allen
Moved From Florida, was good for first few month. Then the manager changed and our neighbor below violated the contract by smoking indoors. We could smell it 24/7 and we were getting sick of it. The manager said they would move out Mid May. Here we are in the beginning of July and they still refuse to move. Dont go here.
I lived here from 2013-14. I never had a major issue, except the walls were extremely thin and my neighbors would call the police on us for sneezing too loud. The inside of these homes are great, theres a lot of space even in the one bedrooms for entertaining. Patios are big, the community is well taken care of, LOTS of counter space as well! As for the staff, I never had a problem with anyone in the front office. Everyone was very kind, very understanding. The maintenance was kind as well, but they never knocked or let you know they were coming to fix something. Over all I would have loved to renew our lease, but we moved to Colorado. Would recommend!!
Horrible place to live. I lived at their apartment from 2017-2018 of November. The staff isnt friendly and the only person worth anything is the maintenance man. Once we moved into our apartment we started smelling an ordor(either from the carpet or mold we found in the walls). The walls leak during heavy rain storms and created black mold. They will hold hostage of your deposit and will come up with every excuse in the book not to give it back. If youre looking for a decent place to live, dont put yourself or family in harms way. Management isnt helpful, and whenever anything goes wrong they wont hold themselves accountable. We tried breaking the lease a couple weeks before renewal because of the mold found multiple times and they refused to let us go until we got in contact with corporate. They also had hidden charges and fees so dont believe any contract you sign with them. They will show you their best looking apartment(s) which they dont let anyone move into and then throw you into an apartment that looks completely different than the one you saw. Throwing incentives or specials in your face to distract you from searching for another reliable place until its too late and you have to settle for them. They also charge for valet trash when the dumpster is right next to your apartment. Just to be told when you can and cant take it out. Roaches, ants and even small little critters run ramped in the walls and countertops, leaks from the windows seep onto your carpet and countertops and to top it off strong orders come and go. These apartments may have a luxury bell to the name but theyre far from luxury. If you want to save yourself time and money look elsewhere. Also be careful with the electrical outlets in each room, some of them dont even work or are just too old to be used. Make sure all of your appliances work as well before signing the dotted line if you still decide to move in after hearing all of the things this place has to offer you and your family on the downside.
Ive lived at Presido for over a year now and I love it. I can honestly call this place home. The staff is super friendly. They always respond to my maintenance request within the day! This is a great place to raise a family. There are always kids playing outside and the neighborhood is really safe. An officer rides by throughout the night just to make sure we are all safe and secure. I love living here! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to call home.
I currently live here. If you have a major plumbing problems they will not come out. I have called and called for emergency maintenance and still have gotten no answer AT ALL. My master bedroom, bathroom and kitchen is flooding from the neighbors upstairs. Any type of problems your have have, the staff doesn’t care. Once my lease is up we are out of here. My rent is over $1200 and it’s paid on time and still they don’t care.
Management changes about every 6 months making it nearly impossible to keep up with new rules and management styles. They also change how you pay your rent and how they communicate with residents all the time. The inconsistencies are more than a headache and as soon as one manager starts to build a rapport with us and get to know us, they transfer them. Were just a training facility because were at the bottom of the list. If you want to be someones priority, I suggest you look elsewhere. This is where they put all the power trippers.
Worst place to live! All this good reviews are fake!! Maintenance is the worst.if rent is cheap is because they finally realized what they are worth to get people in.Manager is the worst especially the new one.We put 400 deposit and only got back 25.The apartment just had wear and tear from being there for 4yrs.Cops are always there and it smells like weed every where.I would give them no stars if i could.Dont move here or trust me you will regret it.
I love this apartment complex, we have been at the Presidio for over 2 years and have really enjoyed our time there. We would have stayed longer if we hadnt bought a house and are now moving. It saddens me a little to say goodbye because of all the great memories my wife and I have had there with having a child and making new friends here in Texas. The management is very attentive to our needs and whenever we need something fixed it is done promptly and is well done. Thank you Dik and the staff there for giving my family and I such a wonderful home for the past years and I hope that this review helps bring more people to the property because they will really love living there! Do not listen to the bad reviews, as long as you follow proper procedures and communicate with the management things will get done and will get fixed promptly. The management really does care about their tenants, as I have learned firsthand. Thanks again Presidio!
Nothing but great experiences with this complex. The girls in the office are extremely helpful. They processed my application in a timely manner and made my move as smooth as possible. Very well managed property, and they sure do know how to take care of their people.
I am currently living at presidio and have been for a year now. By far and large my stay has been great. The neighborhood is family friendly and quiet with no crime. Parking sometimes gets crowded but where doesnt it? As far as maintamence goes, I have never had anything but courteous, day of, actual problem fixing service since i have moved in. No bugs, rodents, loud neighbors, admin issues, nothing like that. Truly pleasant experience and i have dealt with the same management my entire stay.Only downfalls are 1)no lighting in the bedrooms?? And 2) no fee-free way to pay online
I am currently residing at Presidio for over a year. It is a great place, peaceful, spacious, great stuff members and they well maintain the compound. The price is fair for considering how big space the apartments are. I havent seen any pests. Maintenance is on spot and doesnt take them long to do stuff. There are rooms for growth to meet perfection but, my basic needs are fulfilled. I like it.
EDITED 2.9.18 After a follow up call from Rebecca. I was so impressed to receive a follow up call in reference to my visit I wanted to raise my review. They are in the process of upgrades and my visit just fell at bad time. So make sure to visit soon. I have a feeling these will be great competition in the near future.Toured a 2 bdrmPositive: The tour giver and availability and the leasing center....if the management put as much into the units and they did that fabulous leasing center, I would give them a 5. But.....Negative: The units are old, musty and paint covered the water damage window areas. It doesnt look good for a potential tenant to see the leasing area top notch and the units low grade.
Missing Melanie. She was the only one here that actually cares about her job. If your apartment is flooding because yet another lazy neighbor cant be fd to call maintenance, then oh well! Better wait till monday, while your place is getting ruined! Been at two different first story units here and the upstairs neighbors at both places are ALWAYS flooding the first story. Usually with bathroom or AC. The maint people always do shoddy patch repairs and never truly fix anything. They put the minimum effort, always, so youre having to call next month about the exact same thing. At least before they had an emergency number. They DONT anymore, by the way. Theres always terrible neighbors that are yelling at each other at all hours of the night. This place is horrible and I cant wait to move.
Well got an email from Kim E at corporate this morning with the same run around statements she has to say. Its so funny that she cant give a straight answer and all she can do is hide behind emails. She doesnt answer her line when the lady that answers always says that she is at her desk. I have all my emails following and Im just currently waiting to post them. Now she is waiting on HER APARTMENT MANAGER AT PRESIDIO TO GET BACK with her but just yesterday she had all the information she needed. I will be post pics soon of the black mold, termite, bugs, work orders of asking about my AC/HEATER real soon. Quick to take all of your money but slow to repair anything and give you your deposit back. O yea and lets not mention the head man there he doesnt email back or say anything and I have copied him on every email I have sent. Use to be one of the BEST places in Allen to reside now I would say its the worst with everything that has been going on!!!! DONT PUT YOURSELF IN A SITUATION TO BE UPSET. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Not to mention if you tell them your neighbor has an issue they only knock on their door and ask them they dont go in and check for them self and they will tell them that you said it basically putting your life in jeopardy if its something major. These people are a joke there response is fake and they still dont have clear answers for you.
Told them Id fix the review if they gave me back the rest of the deposit and they did, after I called SIMC.A walk-through appointment was never mentioned, offered, or anywhere in writing. We would have been more than happy to do this to show you how clean it was. I recommend you make a walk-thru with staff mandatory on move IN and OUT. This would have fixed a lot of the issues we moved into (with old management). The issue is that the default seems to be to keep a bit of the deposit and make you grasp for it back. Im not sure why they waited a full month either, everything was due upfront. The least you could do is be speedy with getting other peoples money back, as soon as youve inspected the apartment.Pests upon move-in with the old management. They had subsided to a certain point and stayed there until the place was bought in 2017, right around when we moved out. Hopefully the owner response is truthful in that they are finally addressing the gaps as foundations settle and things age.Response claims rent could be paid in office. This would have entailed taking off work when rent couldnt be paid online. I got that fixed, my issue was with the fact that nobody from 3 different companies responded to a resident wanting to pay rent. I dont reside here anymore so up to you to research who they use for rent now. They mentioned being a no solicitation community, but there are no signs, its not enforced, and solicitors will wake you up, thats a given anywhere. It was common for hand-sharpied signs advertising credit repair and we buy houses on the apt. grounds, with old management.Water is not sub-metered. Its much cheaper to split the bill between the residents of a building than putting a meter on each unit. Not current managements fault, but good to know. Yes, its in the contract, doesnt make it suck less.Speaking of paying for other peoples stuff, VALET trash is $300 A YEAR. You get a 2 hour window on any night EXCEPT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY to put the smelly trash RIGHT by your front door. I was so close to the dumpster I could almost throw my trash into it from upstairs, but I wasnt given a choice on this valet trash. Its not a service, this is a $300/year trash fee, whether your work schedule means you can use the valet or not.Like sleeping in? TOO BAD! People here dont know how to shut a door without kicking it closed with both feet. But worry not, if your idiot, door-slamming, mongoloid neighbors dont wake you, your roommate will. Even if they are courteous, there are 8 coats of paint on everything and door frames stick if left shut for more than half an hour or so. So if you shut your door at night, be prepared to put your body into opening it first thing in the morning. Naturally this cannot be done quietly, and sounds akin to kicking your door open to greet the world every day. Speaking of over painting, the closet rods where you hang clothes are painted!?! This looks just OK, until the first time you use them. Ever slid a hanger to the side to peek at the next item of clothing? Three items of clothing are now covered in paint chips. Want to slide a BUNCH of stuff over? Its ALL coated in paint dust. The counter-tops are wood, painted to look like granite(?) so there is stone-look over spray in many places, like mirrors, back-splash, walls, sinks, and faucets/handles. Theres overspray from the walls on the ceiling as well. This is all from my time with old management. We submitted multiple maintenance requests with the doors mentioned (usually for other issues, with a side mention that the doors still stick), but after the first time they gave up. I guess the lady at the front desk was tired of hearing about it and wasnt putting that part into her system. Again, old management.
This is probably the worst apartments Ive ever lived at. Maintenance is a joke, the office often doesnt answer their phone, temps are in and out all the time making information exchange a joke, and the answering service is useless. The pool has been closed for almost a month and a half now and I still dont know why, Im the height of summer no less. My a/c was messed up when I moved in and its still not working as good as it should, my electric bill was over $300 and I was gone half the day during the week and all the office could say was they would try to re-seal everything. That was a month ago and still hasnt been done. It is definitely less expensive than anywhere I shopped, but now I know why. Do not waste your time. Spend the extra money to go somewhere they at least try.
Everyone has their own personal experience, and no one gets everything they want in life, so the good reviews are relative to each individual because I did view neighbors, residing here with the intention and impression that home was here.So I can only delineate my stay at presidio apartments and I am solely writing this review due to the inequity and lack of integrity of management and the genuine condition of their apartment. Me and my husband moved here during late February early March, we liked a few of the features, even though the model that was shown was different from the one we received, the hardwood flooring, the beautiful granite countertops and the one in the bathroom, I had read previous reviews of mold being present so I was very scrupulous and dubious of the apartment, some of the insides of the cabinets had mold and looked a bit unsanitary so we soley used a few of them, and the tubs flooring was coming undone, mold on the window seals, and the walls had cracks and you could see patches and moisture in the walls, but nonetheless, we felt at home, because weve been through worse and this was our second apartment, we were here during the pandemic, so some bleaching did ruin the appliances, we never used the patio because upstairs neighbors would pour buckets of water down onto our patio and cigarette buds, but I cleaned everyday, and one morning I get up and view a heap of magets coming from outside the patio rushing into our home, they were all in our rugs and some made their way into the hallway, we had to deal with them on our own having to buy loads of boric acid and bay leaves hoping that would deter them,we told the manager, who at the time was a bald white male, who stated, without seeing our apartment, that it must be that we have food somewhere, and did not abet us initially, there was no food anywhere, I come from a hot state,so I know, to always keep everything refrigerated even my dry items, so I thought maybe the upstairs neighbors, but they were ruled out, pest control came, he was a Hispanic man with an earring in his ear,he looked around and stated that he does not know where they are coming from maybe dog excrements or a dead carcus somewhere, but he found no sign, so we had to deal with them for 1-2 months, my husband would go out and clean them off the patio every other day, because they kept COMING, there was a patch in the kitchen wall that covered the light switches and a fly was stuck in it, and they were coming out from under the cabinets, and I began to think, that possibly, they were coming from inside the Walls, so my husband went to management complained again and this time, management came to the back of the patio stayed outside, him and my husband waited, and there, they were dropping from outside the patio walls, and he proclaimed maybe a dead caucus was inside the chimney, and then had a, Hispanic maintenance man ,short in statue, caulk up the patio where they were falling out of, so of course after experiencing all that we had to just deal with it until our lease was up, now that we are gone they are charging us $850 for repairs of the apartment I told the woman, who I believes name is tamera, that we did not mind paying, but that price is not reasonable due to the factual deterioration of the apartment when we received it, so much so that they had magets present in their walls, she then goes on to state that there is no report of magets in their system, and if that was the case, why didnt we notify them, I elucidated that we did, we sent here these pictures and videos and she stated that she does not see them present in the apartment and implied that they were caused by our negligence of food being left out, so yeah that was our experience, heres the pictures and videos
I moved out on 12th Feb 2021. We paid $100 deposit in oct 2018 (Please see attached photo ). I have full leasing documents. We sent to management multiple times but never get this deposit back. Management changed one or two times. so as per my experience, dont stay in this apartment.
Had a chance to meet with the Manager Dik and really enjoyed the conversation. Dik has extensive knowledge of the area and has an extremely friendly and professional attitude. My wife and I are new to Texas and feel very welcome thanks to Dik and Presidio. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone...they are very kid friendly and they have one of the best rated school districts in the Country...It is truly a pleasure to have this opportunity and to feel welcome here.
My daughter lives here...we had to stay wirh her for a while waiting to close on our home. Let me say, i thought- just looking ar tge place - it was really nice...today as i sit here, i wonder if they`ll come on the THIRD DAY the toilet has needed help!!! It is clogged...we have plunged. It isn`t something we can handle ourselves!! Itis in the main line! The whole kitchen light hasbeen out a week as well! Still no maintenance!I wouldn`t rent here now for sure. The girl who says the walls ate paper thin, not lying! Neighbors woke me bouncing cabinet doorsclosed early this morning!! Not worth yourmoney! Really!
They are bad with answering phone calls. I’ve been leaving in this apartment complex for about a month and I’m already having a bad experience. I’ve been trying to contact them , because at times I’m at work and i can’t go to the leasing office to make arrangements or if i have a question! Last time i call almost 15 times till they answer the phone! Today i am calling again for the 4th time and they still don’t pick up the phone. I don’t think their that busy to not answer the phone. This is not the first or last time it happens, it has happened more than once!!!
I have called several times in the office and most likely no body even answer the phone. if they do answer, customer service is zero. They hang up the phone if they are not interested to hear complains. I have referred my friend to this apartment complex and she is not happy about their customer service either. I would never refer anyone anymore.
********THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!****** DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT. THERES RATS ROCHES EVERYWHERE. THIS PLACE IS REALLY GROSS. REALLY DISGUSTING. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU THEY CHEAT AND SCAM ALL YOUR MONEY. ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE. FAKE. FAKE.
AWFUL PLACE TO LIVE, This administration is disgusting, they are NEVER in the office, they NEVER answer the phone and when you manage to contact them they have a terrible attitude as if you were asking them for a favor, I really dont know if there is someone in charge of these now apartments, the previous administration was very good, quite the opposite of this one, the only ones I see working are the maintenance guys and when I ask them about the girls in the office they NEVER tell me anything, at first they told me they had cameras around the apartments which is a lie THEY DONT HAVE A SECURITY SYSTEM, at night the whole parking lot is dark they dont have enough lighting and add that they dont have cameras, YOU WILL NEVER FEEL SAFE HERE, look elsewhere, there is Nicer and cheaper apartments than these.

2022-01-19I’ve been living here for nearly 2 years and I love it. I was nervous because I thought they would dramatically increase rent when I renewed my lease but the increase was very fair. I’ve had few issues since I’ve lived here and all were fixed. The office staff and maintenance staff are great and overall very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet with relatively small problems. I’ve seen other reviews about dog poop and they have really been on top of it. I’ve seen a drastic change. The only thing is stairs are rarely cleaned. They are stains on the stairs that have been here since the day I moved in. If that’s the worst of my problems then I’m okay with that. I’ve lived in several different apartments and this one is by far the best! I’m not sure where some of the bad reviews are from. This place is clean, neighbors are nice and quiet, staff is responsive and the manager Tamera make us feel like family.

2022-01-20I have officially lived here for a year now. Even thou things were not exactly what was told to me over the phone for the apartment I was suppose to get into the price was fair for the apartment. For example like renovated and cosmetics but thats okay since like I said the price was fair. I didnt get to view my apt before hand since I was relocating and had no time to view the place, so honestly feel it was also my lack of preparation. Tamara has been a great Manager thou since Ive been here. She has been very helpful and responsive. Im not sure about the other reviews stating they are not in office. I stay at home so Im here all the time so anytime I do go to the office she is usually the one that helps me out or answers my questions. They have also been very understanding this past year with my financial issues of paying rent. Dont misunderstand me I have still had to pay rent but they have dealt with it accordingly and treated me right. Ive put in work orders and usually mine do not take over 2 weeks and some done within a week. So I have not had issues with maintenance. They are pretty friendly and very understanding. No apartments are perfect and this apartment can still do better but I know they try their best especially when they cant control everything especially when ppl dump big furniture into the dumpster, but than the apartment maintenance is usually the ones that handle it and make it look nicer or they remove the items. Dog poop can not really be controlled by office that falls more on the residents and I know management has done their best by sending out emails bout this issue. So if anything Residents should respect the place they live in and pick after their pets so it looks nice for the rest of the Residents. Pool could be more maintenance more often in the summer where it isnt out of commission for 2 weeks but they do clean it for the most part. Grass is pretty well maintenance year round and well kept so I have no complaints there. I have not had no issues with noise for the most part it has been pretty quite and the best part for my family is that my Kiddo gets to attend one of the BEST Elementary Schools in Texas. At least that was my #1 reason for moving here to give my daughter the best education I could provide her with it. Tamara has done great job thou having to deal with handling the property on her own at times with no assistance in the front office and minimal maintenance personnel. I hope they are paying her right for her worth and time.

2022-07-01Don’t fall for the good reviews on here. I can almost guarantee they are not real. This is by far the worst place to live at. Management is a joke. Apartment building burned down and was never given an explanation as to why. Pipes bursting was a regular problem with many of the tenants. I’m talking flooding your whole place out. Neighbors are loud and your complaints about them will be ignored. If you have no other place to live chose being homeless over this place.

2022-02-14They must be paying people to leave five star reviews because this apartment complex is the worst I’ve lived at. The buildings are literally falling apart. They painted over damage rather than fixing it and any maintenance requests I sent in have been ignored so far. The pet waste stations are always empty of bags and overflowing. Dog waste litters the grass everywhere. The office has answered their phone once amidst the dozens of calls I’ve put in in the months I’ve lived in. I’ve killed three cockroaches so far and I’m sure there’s more lurking around. There are better apartments for the same if not better price. Run as far away from this place as possible.

2022-04-18Probably one of the worst apartment ever.- Leasing agents are absolutely terrible. They have no idea what is going on with the work orders, application status, or basically anything else they are supposed to know.- The leasing office picks up the phone maybe 20% of the time. its impossible to reach someone- I moved in here 2 weeks ago and put in work orders which still havent been done.- The pool is algae green. Its been like this the whole time ive been here. Maybe the leasing people dont care, but the residents are paying for a pool amenity that we cant use. Please avoid this property if you can. 2022-06-21Wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to anyone missing sliding doors when moved in.Laundry room ran down the pool regularly has Algee in it even though pest control comes I still spot multiple rodents it is very disappointing in how much I’m paying monthly for this too I’m trying to get ahold of corporate office to see if there can be a change because so many things are not what they seemed to be when I moved in don’t trust what you see online moral of the story and I was told that it’s regular for apartment complex mail boxs to be vandalized but it’s been nearly 2 months and no fix’s.I was told I couldn’t view the apartment because of how occupied they are but I don’t know who would want to live here. I just have so much pictures of the rediculous proven false things they have on their website nothing like the real thing .

2022-01-20WOW! Let me tell you, looking for a new home isn’t always fun or easy…but Tamara made it all of the above. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my question! She even followed up with me the next day to ensure I didn’t have any further question. I cannot wait to make Presidio my new HOME!

2021-11-04If I could give this complex a rating lower than 1 star I would. Theres a reason they wont let you terminate your lease early even in the event of death by the way, because they know how horrible their complex and staff are. Partly renovated just means they painted over all the damages including nails and holes from past tenants. If you email them, youre guaranteed to never receive a response and if you call, the staff is usually rude, untrained, and just as confused as you are about whets going on. Maintenance is a joke. It doesnt matter how much of an emergency your problem is, it will take them months to get to you. This complex needs to be shut down by the city until they can reevaluate what it means to provide a living space for human beings.

2021-01-27Ive lived at Presidio Apartments since October of 2016. When I first moved in I had issues with my apartment, but the manager at the time Melanie was able to get them taken care of so I decided to stay. There is dog feces all over the property, there are stations with bags for dogs and the residents still do not use them. Its embarrassing having company over and their having to step over mountains of dog feces. As my lease www coming to an end I decided to move elsewhere, upon me notifying the office of me wanting to move elsewhere when my lease was up the manager advised me that I was a long time resident and she wanted me to stay. I decided to stay and see if things would get better and I was wrong. The manager was rushing me out of my apartment and asking for the keys before my lease was up in my previous apartment and she told me if I kept my keys till the day my lease was up I would be charged extra. Why would I be charged extra when my leasing contact is set to end that specific day? Not to mention the tenants in the apartment I was moving to moved out late and she wasnt even sure it I was going to be able to move in on my target date. Her stories kept changing which causes my move to be even more stressful because I was being rushed for whatever reason when I had a 4 day gap in between my lease starting and ending in the two apartments. The lease amount I was quoted to stay is different than what is on my leasing agreement and I was also overcharged for the prorated amount listed on my leasing agreement for my new apartment. Not to mention when I got into my new place the electricity in my room had an issue and the lights flickered and went out constantly. There were dead roaches all in the cabinets of the kitchen as well as dead moths all over the house. I have since been killing live roaches and the manager claims there was never a record of roaches beforehand. She also claims she walked through the apartment and the housekeeper cleaned. If that is true how is it that they missed all of the dead bugs throughout the house and the food stains throughout the kitchen? Also had they did a walk through they would have saw the issues with my lights. Now my stuff is all moved in with a half done cleaning job, lighting issues as well as roaches that the office seems to be oblivious to. I havent even been in here a full week and this move has been a living nightmare. I had to clean my own apartment and was told not to bomb because it wouldnt be effective enough but Im supposed to believe they did pest control before I moved in that is supposed to be effective. I dont understand how pest control (if they actually came) housekeeping and the manager missed ALL off these issues I noticed upon first entering the apartment. I cant even say it is the property management company that is the issue because they have had 3 since Ive lived here so Im assuming it is the owners of the property. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone even if they offer a good deal. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

2021-12-01Avoid this apartment complex. Management is the WORST. Extremely unprofessional and not responsive. Tamara is a joke and so is the regional manager Anne. They will basically force you into a lease and then you’re stuck with an apartment that is in no way livable. Filthy units. Management will not respond to any emails or phone calls. Save your time and $ and look elsewhere.
