I can never find anything.. had to ask 6 times for 6 different things.. one guy sent me there.. another guy sent me back to where I was.. smh..
Everyones friendly and ready to help you out. Has the biggest selection in town. They even have stuff that other places do not.
I think this is the first Do-It Best I have liked (lived in 7 states). I agree with some of the others. Either there are a dozen people there to help you or you have to wait 20 minutes to find somebody. I think the only thing I wont buy here are exterior screws as they are half the price at other stores. I love the paint and finish selection.
I absolutely love going to this place... The people are knowledgeable and helpful, never have led me wrong.
Website says you open at 8:am on Sundays, That is not true...Several people pulled up about 20 minutes after and doors still locked so they left..I waited because I had to return an item and I live to far away.
I purchased material paid for it to be delivered and didnt get it. However, after I went to reclaim the delivery was done right away.Thank you Home Pride.
Pride Home Center is locally owned and operated and has been a part of the community for over 25 years. You couldnt ask for better customer service always with a smile on their face. They have an amazing selection and can stand against big chains. They offer competitive prices and often a better deal! They are 110% worth the drive!
Do not have a countertop cut here. Not straight and didnt even use template in box with new sink to cut the hole the right size.

All right if you buy small stuff I really wouldnt recommend buying anything big because they never want to take it back thats been my experience is with him what can I say they service he is about 50-50 do you look at the cashiers and most of them act like theyre not even is there Orion La La Land service overall fifty-fifty at best its like I said in my other statement above you dont want to buy major purchases are because they will not take him back without a hassle
Close, convenient and I like dealing with local business. Staff is always helpful. Ill shop here before the big box stores any day.
Nice variety on DIY product, which I like. Sometimes I feel so uncomfortable being in the store, encountering some unfriendly and rude employees.

Showed up to the store right at 7p.m to have some guy scream from the door it was already closed. Advise on here it shows 7:30, he proceeded by saying that was not their problem that was a google thing not the store. And he continued to scream as I was walking away with my 1 year old and 5 year old. I hate people like this. Smh.

No help from anyone that worked there but they would follow me around the store the whole time I was there. I had to go find someone and then they had to find someone because they didnt work in that department today.
The employees have always been able to help me in the best professional manner. By the time Im done getting my supplies I usually have everything I need for my project, home repair or DIY.
Service is always slow the only reason most contractors go in there is cause they are doing work on that side of town. i like most of the people that work there and they are very friendly but they dont get the sense of urgency us contractors have. this is the complaint i have always heard around town about this place. prices are good but not worth going in for the wait
Poor service, not rude, just not very considerate. I am actually getting to the point where I am willing to drive an hour and back out of my way just not to use these guys. I will actually likely save time due to their slow service. Stay away if you can.

Had to get some glass cut for three windows for o e of our rent houses. I got the wrong size measurements. The cut me the right sizes,no questions. Awesome folks out there.
My mother and I went to purchase wood for a set of steps for the back porch of her trailer. The guy who was supposed to cut the wood for us, was an imateur ass. Long story short, I got my money back and my mom still has no steps.
Itll have what you need it works in a pinch there pretty close to ride to the neighborhood on the Northside of Amarillo big supporter of local businesses prices are a bit higher than the bigger chains

Very disappointed today came in to get my keys cut bought the keys from Amazon there oem no chip in them yet they said no for something so small been coming here for 15 plus years and cant even do something so small went to Home Depot cut it right away no question asked and didnt charged me how sad...

Prices are better than most places. However rude staff, and has no problem locking the gates and door 15 minutes before posted closing times.

Most of their products are inferior to Lowe’s and Home Depot. Their price may be cheaper on some of their Unknown garbage, but it won’t hold up like name brands!

I just went to buy a mower, and only the faces are priceless. To know the prices of the cheap you have to ask !!! I do not understand, we are living the distancing, not greeting or talking to anyone. I got out in less than 2 min and went to a place where everything has a price.
This store has many things to fix houses shops and there are a rental machines too. Some of them Speak Spanish.This store has many things to fix the houses and workshops, they also rent machines for many things and some of them speak Spanish.

2022-06-04This store has very helpful staff. They were all eager to help me complete my project. I went there 3 times in 1 day and each time I wished I had a store in my town.Prices were affordable and the store was very well maintained and organized.

2021-08-07Went to get some solvent...left with tile for my entire bathroom,brand new bitchin kitchen sink,a shiny new mailbox and mount,and I scarcely dropped little more than a c-note. AND the fellas in those departments not only assisted in the decision making process,answering numerous questions of vast importance,but when I decided on the tile it was loaded onto a cart with the sink,and then in my car,and I never touched a box! I think you would be hard pressed to receive customer service like that anywhere these days. Big smiles all around. Thank you for making my day!!!

2021-04-14I just tried to make a purchase there. They were out of the lumber that I needed -- quarter inch plywood. I asked for a price check to see if I needed to wait for the new lumber to come in or if I should pay for a more expensive substitute. The cashier instead kept trying to upsale me and doing a whos on first sort of verbal sparring match with me. I gave up and tried the other cashier who referred me back to the first cashier and walked away. They dont listen.Its a real shame because I absolutely love the product and the general reliability of the store -- something that is a rare find these days. Im just sick of dealing with people who wont listen.I now know where all the other lumber yards are in Amarillo. Frustrating.

2020-12-03Never going back , guess they decided to close early. I showed up at 5:55 pm , and it was snowing good as customers were exiting I approached the entrance. Then I was approached by a male telling me they are close . Online says 7 , so I asked what time y’all close . 6 he answered, well I have three minutes by now . I said “I only need two bags of dog food and I’m fast , young and full of energy. I know I could have got it in time for them to get home . I was told No , simply because they wanted to be home ! I had to drive across town in blizzard just to feed my dogs and pups !! Took me over three hrs and almost a car wreck to achieve what should have taken 5 minutes. Even though they are right down the street I will no longer spend my hard earned money with such careless people !! God Bless and treat others as you would like to be treated !! Respectfully to the most !! Thank U !!

2019-02-12There is usually always somebody there to help you find what you need. It may have more to do with loss prevention anything, nevertheless. They have a great location because its the only hardware store on that side of town except for the big five and dime. Their prices are a little high but they have a pretty good selection. The rental side, the guy there is really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Not bad place to go if youre on that side of town.

2019-05-21Went to a job interview two actually once with Jerry the second one with Barry. Barry claims they are not hiring right now do to a re set. But yet Jerry said they just hired 3 guys who are Temps and 2 cashiers for outside. So I would say this is a good place to shop but not so much for working here. I guess managers dont communicate with one another or Barry enjoys lying. So I am not gonna waste my time I think he is just threatened cause I have so much education compared to them I guess. I dont have to work here I am just bored with Nursing. But managers need to be honest and not lie to potential employees. I actually like posting reviews about companies and places plus people. So no one else makes the mistakes that I have made.
