Pro Audio in other cities:
They do their job alright and are slightly overpriced. Employees get mad if you think they did something wrong or suggest something. (Edit) After taking in once already the problem was not fixed at all, hopefully this 2nd visit will be my last one. Good quality merchandise but seems like poor installment.
So I went to them on Oct 31st to get a system installed in my suv. On nov 1st my car wouldnt start or crank. I took it to a repair shop not thinking it had anything to do do with my system. After months of the repair shop trying to figure out what happened to my car they found out that they tapped my amp into a 5v ignition wire when the amp needs 12 volts and it shorted out some wiring to my bcm and the fuse block under the dash which they also tapped into wrong. So because of their shoddy work I have been without a car for almost 6 months. Thankfully the repair shop figured it out, repaired the shorted out wiring and disconnected all the mess this place charged me $375 for. I will NEVER go back here or ever recommend this place again!!!!
Took my 2004 Tahoe up there and literally theyre super quick took 2 hours to do my Radio installation, wiring, my amp work, subwoofers and all 4 door speakers. Theyre super professional and will make sure your ride has great sound I love mine I think the guy who installed mine was Rene
This place is the worst. The owner has a communication problem and then blamed me for not knowing what was going on. He went as far as telling me that I had no common sense. Then once I thought it was all over, I had to go back there because my subwoofer wasn’t operating properly. This dude told me it was my problem! I told him, nope, this is our problem. It gets worst but this is already too long. Long story longer, I will be reporting this business to the BBB. If he treated a disabled Vet this way, he can do it to anyone.
After a long run-around trying to find someplace that would run the power wiring from my new ham radio through my cars firewall to my battery, I was was referred to Pro Audio. Alex got my car in the garage within minutes of my arrival and his crew had the job done professionally and in a reasonable amount of time while I waited.
Had problems with the after market rear viewing camera. Found Pro Audio who were able to repair my camera. I didn’t have much time and thankfully Alex took care of me. Pushed my vehicle to the front and repaired it in less than a hour. This crew has amazing customer care. Thanks Alex.
Called and asked a few questions and got hung up on mid sentence. decided to go to he store and ask him to splice a wire for me which takes 2mins and i told him to charge me $10 or more I’d he had to. He said he didn’t have time for me. I said you don’t have 2mins for me? He said no and went to the next customer to help them out.
This guy is horrible. Sold me a dream like the devil. Took my truck and he had it for five hours. He thought I was gonna sit home and wait on a call. Went there he was moving my truck in and out to do other vehicles. He got angry and so did I. He is a fake and he is prejudice.
I purchased an Alpine 1200 w-1000 rms amp, a bass knob and Alpine tweeters from here but I had an Alpine SWR-12D4 subwoofer that I purchased the week prior from another audio store. I had Pro Audio install the bass knob, tweeters and amp (the 4 gauge wiring and sub enclosed in a vented box was installed the week before by Pacific Audio) along with a few other non-electronic items. I smelled plastic burning the first day after the install and returned the next day. The shop owner, Alex, opened my trunk to find the sub smoking, that sub had blown. Alex explained that the amp he had suggested was the correct power and there was no reason the amp or installation was faulty. He charged me the price I paid for the sub, he said the sub was defective, and installed another Alpine sub that blew the same night after I left his shop. The next day I returned and Alex wanted to trade out the speaker for a Kicker CVR 12, which is much weaker than the Alpine, but while he was still testing out the stereo the sub starting smoking. Alex finally listened to my suggestion that the amp was causing the problem and agreed to switch out the amp. He temporarily put a PlanetAudio 1000w amp, which comes with a bass knob, in my car until the following Monday. I was told I could pick any amp I wanted and would not have to pay anything extra for it nor would I have to pay for the sub. Well Monday comes and Alex tells me he does not have a 1600w Hifonics amp (the amp I asked for the previous day) but has a Hifonics Zeus1200w-600rms which comes with a bass knob. I was not able to be refunded the cost of the bass knob I purchased nor did I receive the difference from the cheaper amp I was given. $75 for a MTX bass knob, $220 Alpine Amp, $75 Alpine tweeters and $75 labor. I constantly told Alex not to turn the stereo volume past 25 because I would never listen to it that loudly but every time he wanted me to hear the system he turned the volume up way past 35. In the end, this blew my tweeters so now I have an amp thats as powerful as the amp I had installed before walking into his shop, no tweeters and bass knob thats paid for but not in my possession. I would not recommend any Active duty soldier spend money in the establishment. I am trying to receive a refund through the finance company-Simple Finance-because I still spent the cash to purchase new tweeters and a new amp.
Got an install kit for a stereo and it did not come with the right bracket for my new stereo. Call and asked if i can return it because it is not useful to me anymore and was told that because it was opened i cannot return it. Kuddos that they at least had something in stock but they need to rethink their return policy.

2022-03-02Calling around to get a vehicle wrap for my business on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD diesel truck. And an 18‘ x 7 1/2‘ enclosed trailer on both sides. I gave them the information of what I wanted and they are about double the price of anyone else in the Tri-County area. When I mentioned can you please give me a breakdown because you’re about double the price, and they get rudely respond I will remember you get what you pay for. I said why don’t you tell me what I’m paying for to include what type of material you’re using, what’s the warranty on your products, what’s the sunlight hitting angle guarantee versus the time frame for fading. In the guy got to an attitude and said I was about to tell you but you didn’t let me speech. I’ll go ahead and take my five to $10,000 worth of business elsewhere.

2021-11-30I like they use a computer to make the cuts. All cuts come out perfect. They took an hour or so to do all windows in my Tahoe. Very polite and professional. Please go with ceramic tint. 100% recommended.

2018-10-13Finding a place to tint your vehicle’s windows in El Paso is like finding a chick at EPTX club, they’re all over the place. So if your like me and don’t want just any lady then go to Pro Audio on Dyer in the North East. I went with the high end ceramic tint with lifetime nationwide warranty. They put 35% on front two windows and 5% aka limo tint on the back three. Doing so cost me $280 and tax free for military and it took just under two hours to do. Highly recommended professional staff and high quality work. Thank you for hooking up my 2013 Infiniti G37 xSedan AWD!

2021-12-11I take all my vehicles for tint there. Each time Ive gotten T-boned and needed another vehicle due to front chi drivers. No complaints, tint always held up. Due to inflation the price has jumped up $80-$90, $130-for my newest vehicle.

2021-04-25This business is not military friendly at all. Does not know what they are doing. They will damage your car and no say anything. They will not treat you with respect or value for the money you are paying, I ended cancelling everything with them. No recommended, dont go there.

2021-02-17Did beautiful lighting on my wheels. I will be back to put chrome wrap which they do next on my car!! I went back cause I had a problem and the owner redid my light on my wheels without charging me. The problem was clearly mine cause I wanted it wired to battery which I shouldn’t but in the end he was right and re did what he first had done for me with no problems!
