HUGE garden center with an amazing selection of plants. Several native plants, trees & bushes. I especially appreciated the detailed, informative signs located by all of the plants. Large selection of plants to be used for SAWS saving coupons. Even the pot selection was bountiful. Will definitely be returning!
I was so excited when I bought a neon pothos here a few days ago and I highly regret not paying more attention. I spent $25 on a plant that I discovered is infested with mealybugs. Not only was it a waste of money but now im scared that I didnt notice in time and my other pothos near by could have them now. If the pothos I bought is this infested then im sure their other plants are just as bad. Please be careful when buying from this place.
Pretty good nursery with tons of different plants, fruit trees and such. They have a little space for insects to pollinize and they show/sell you everything you need to set your space at home. My toddler loved the view with all the bugs. Definitely the place to go when you need something for your garden.
I love wandering around the gardens, and inevitably end up bringing something home with me. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, lots of selection, and happy plants. They have a restroom and water fountains, so I can spend quite a bit of time here when the weather is nice. Dont pass this place up if youre looking for cacti and succulents!
First time coming here, this area was relaxing and fun way to buy plants. Plants were decently priced. Plants were healthy looking. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Wished there were more lawn decorations to buy (🤔unless I didnt see where they were). Recommend 🌈 👩🌾🌻🌿🌾🌵🌿🌱
(03-30-19). My wife and I went to ask about grass that will grow in the shade. I was told the grss would need at least 4 hours of sun. We have a big oak tree in the front yard so we cutting it down! J/K my would kill me lol. We walked around and its a big place with tons of flowers and trees. I love the trees here. I took some pictures to share with yall. I.hsve nothing bad to say about the place. Theyve just about everything you need to start your garden. If youre board you can walk around and check out the place. Its very nice. Plus this spot has a Pokemon Gym!
We have A great time whether at this location or the location on Thousand Oaks. The staff is very helpful and the customers who shop here understand COVID procedures and keep distance. Very enjoyable experience shopping here. The parking gets a little tricky, especially on the weekends, but other than that, thumbs up.
I love Rainbow gardens but seriously guys, the mud by the entrance is slippery and unsafe. I came in there with my kiddos and if I wasnt holding my two year olds hand she would have fell down because she slipped. Someone could get hurt, customer or employee. Saftey first. On a better note the young man in the section by the front was very helpful and polite as are alot of the employees at Rainbow.
Wear your face masks to buy your plants? In. An. Out. Door. Garden. Center. In the Texas heat! These people have no common sense. It is hazardous to your health people! We will take our business elsewhere. They conviently have people selling masks outside for adults and children for those who dont care about their health. Busier businesses dont require masks. ✌
Very Nice Nursery, Extremely Attentive Workers, very knowledgeable, Be SURE to bring your Walking Shoes, big place !!!12-3-21, met withBrandon and he was an immense help to me. Very knowledgeable & very helpful. If I could give him a 10 I would. 4-10-22 Fantastic selection of Roses, lots of plants
We went to buy a crape myrtle. Henry was very knowledgeable & helpful. The prices were great compared to other places I called. There were lots of little tents with vendors so there weren’t many parking spots available. The cashier lacked customer service skills. She was more interested in her conversation with her co-worker than speaking a single word to us.
Awesome! I have been gardening for a while now and I always come here for plants and seeds. Staff are very kind and helpful, always willing to chat with me on how to solve my gardening problems. They also carry a huge variety of plants which are always healthy. Very dependable and reasonable prices! I love this place!
This was our second time at this location and we love it! We drive from the southeast side to come here because we enjoy the layout and the variety of all the plants. And the staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable on the plants whenever we have questions. Their prices are more than what you would pay at heb, walmart, lowes, etc., but they are a private nursery so we that into consideration and we dont mind. Plus our kiddos love walking around and looking at the animal decor!😊 10 for 10 would recommend.
I went yesterday and the place is super beautiful with tons of plants varieties. The plants are well taken care of and greatly organized. Customer service on the other hand is bad and i could see other reviewers complaints on the same matter. While i appraise their care for the plants, this is not a personal garden, this is a BUSSINESS that includes kind and supportive selling service. A simple example is handing you the purchase at the cashier while looking away and chatting with a co-worker besides the cold and un welcoming looks when you go in or even answering your questions with care. I literally had to run after a staff i asked a question because he answered while running away that i could not hear him well! I love your plants so much but customer service needs to be seriously worked on.
They unfortunately didnt have the plant I looking for in stock, but I received excellent service. They let me know when to expect shipment and to call so they could hold the palm I wanted. Landscaping and the grounds are really beautiful and though the prices are a little high, the quality is much better than the big box stores.
About 90 % of the landscape plants at my house on a 1/2Acre lot came from this place. Very good selection, reasonable prices, best selection of plants for the vegetable garden I found near my house. Gardening is my pastime in retirement. Tomatos grow best here Spring and Fall. This is the place that has the ones you will be happy with. I am off to buy a lemon tree today to replace my almost loss in the great freeze. I hope to graft to the root stock growth now coming up to say it made it past 2021.
Great place to buy shrubs, roses, pot plants and trees of all kinds. Along with that it is also a good place to just walk around when it is nice outside to look at all the different trees and flowers. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions that you might have regarding what to use when planting a new set of plants or trees. They can also recommend on what would fit best into your backyard based on what you are trying to do.
This is a review of the service, the place looked nice while I was there.I hate wasting time and energy. So I called and asked about dividing up the three plants I have, on the call I heard it being relayed and asked in the background, YES was the answer (I did give the current size, and plant types)! She said it was busy now, best come early next day, ok, no problem.Yet here I am, heading home because all of the sudden NO they cant split them, they didnt even look at them, all of the sudden its NO...Waste of time, energy, and gas...
SAWS purchase, 30 plants. Good prices, decent selection. Not much help from the female at checkout; what took 15 minutes could have taken half the time if only the she HELPED identify and sort the plants. Instead, she simply held the clipboard. This is not the first time staff there needed to check their attitudes. There are a couple helpful, friendly people working there, but we got a dud today :(
The new checkout lines are horrible. Takes so long to check out. You basically become an employee and have to tell the cashier one by one what you have.No sense of urgency either. The cashier today was extremely slow.Still love the place. But not the slow checkout lines.
Super great place! The only real bad thing is them announcing there is a restock, getting up early along with other customers I saw to go buy all excited and it being empty! The gates were not even open on time. I walked around and left empty handed as did others. If there is a issue, it should be communicated in ADVANCE. I also asked a younger female employee with black, curly hair, light brown skin, seemed new, if a plant was a neon pothos or lemon lime philo and she told me it was the same!! So disappointing when a nursery does not have educated employees. At LEAST keep up with the label/posters educating customers with all the need to knows Rainbow Gardens! With a respect it would be a great job for that new employee.
I absolutely love this nursery! This was my second time going Yesterday May 1, 2021. You can tell they take care of the place with love and knowledge! The trees, flowers, and plants are just beautiful and healthy as ever! The pond is also a great attraction! There are coi, and catfish in the pond! If your in San Antonio, don’t forget to stop for a visit! You won’t be disappointed! I travel from Copperas Cove to come get my veggie starters from here!
Love Rainbow Gardens!!! The selection is always great and we never have any problems with flowers or plants after getting them planted. Weve never had any issues with travelers such as ants or bugs in the containers and the people are always so friendly! This is my favorite place in San An, and the atmosphere is just awesome!!!!!
The staff is hit or miss. They’re usually helpful, but there’s some that are very unfriendly. You’re likely to find the plant you’re looking for since the place is ginormous, but I’d recommend checking out Lowe’s before hand. The prices here are always double or triple than what you’d find at Lowe’s and for a worse quality/smaller plant. Always isolate your plants when you bring them home, but especially from here. 4/5 times I’ve taken home a plant and found mealy bugs, spider mites, and all sorts of pest on them. Not a deal breaker but definitely a nuisance. They do have a very extensive collection of pots for somewhat reasonable prices.
Have always loved this nursery. Shopped there for years. Now shopping there has become exhausting. Dragging or pulling a cart or wagon over the rocks & pvc pipes is really difficult. Now if you need something in front you have to go all the way to the back to pay. Wont be going back until some restrictions are lifted.
Huge variety of plants. I love the little executive summaries posted with each plant. Rainbow Gardens is also high on the inspiration scale too, I get all kinds of ideas while Im there. They always have all the drought resistant and SAWS approved plants in stock too. You absolutely must visit. If it was up to me this store would be open 24/7.Yes, you are going to have to wear a mask there even though it is mostly outside. I too hate wearing a mask in the middle of a very hot summer but I do it because first I would like to always be welcome back at Rainbow Gardens and secondly I care about my fellow gardeners. Now go and make that yard beautiful, all the stuff is at Rainbow Gardens.
LOVE this place. Seeing some complaints that they require masks. I’m grateful for them wanting to protect their staff and customers. Anyone that cannot wear a mask for a medical reason shouldn’t be mingling out in public anyways. There’s a huge sign out front that says they can help with curbside if masks are an issue for you.
Great plant selection, but my experience was totally ruined by the indoor cashier (older lady with brown hair). With all these negative reviews about her, I don’t understand why she hasn’t been reprimanded or reassigned to not work with customers. I won’t be recommending this nursery until that aspect improves.
Couldnt get anyone to pay attention & had to look for someone. When I did find a person that were rude & dismissive! Pricing not all that great either. Never paid for the plants I finally found because it was taking too long to check out. Put the plants back & left! Wont go back!
Extremely rude to my senior citizen mother. Stopped in and asked an employee about a specific type of plant and all she did was point in a general direction in the back. Then she proceeded to ask me to leave due to my physical disability. I advised her about my disability which I shouldnt even have to explain and she said it doesnt matter and that I needed to leave or she would call the police. I have since filled a ADA discrimination claim against this location. Dont go here if you want to be treated with respect as a customer. Went to a location less than a mile away and spent a good deal of money there instead. Lost my business forever.Spoke with owner after post. He was very apologetic for the situation. After discussion I would say that this is most likely an isolated incident with a single employee and most likely doesnt reflect the overall position of this business.
Ive come here for years. The folks are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a terrific inventory at great prices. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a tent for classes, which are held every week or two. They also have a little stand in the parking lot for local produce and honey.
I came here to get flowers and plants for the SAWS WaterSaver landscape coupon. I must have looked pretty lost amongst their hundreds of plants and trees on their 5 acre plot because an employee came over to ask if I needed help. Didnt get his name but he was so nice! He directed me to the aisle where all the SAWS approved plants were conveniently located and he even got me a bigger trolley cart to haul them all around. The employees here are so nice and I was so blown away by the massive selection of flowers, trees and bushes! I will definitely be back for indoor house plants and more flowers unrelated to the SAWS coupon. They even have a food truck that has breakfast and coffee stuff! I could probably spend an entire Saturday here!
Layout is open lots of selection, but if your are needing help, get ready to fend for yourself! Day one I came with out realizing they close at 5. I ask the guy that was walking in the gate to see if they still had what I wanted. He replied that I could come check tomorrow they were closed and Wales off. I make it the second day because I called and they did hold my items, my first time in here I didn’t know where to go, I ask one guy but of course he is too busy and simply says go inside, still lost I find my way and see a lady, told here I was here to pick up an order. She had an attitude and was a bit rude! She directs me To where they are. The cashier that checked me out was friendly and so was another worker that was out there! After being lost in the place it did end nice! Just be prepared to find your own way unless you happen to run into one of the few nice ones that work here!
Great place. Manager always friendly and always has solution to plant problems. They make great recommendations on fertilizers, pest control, and compost. You dont have to drag heavy bags to the cashier for check out. Just tell them what you want, and they will call someone to pick it up, bring it to your vehicle, and put it in your vehicle.
Apparently the best nursery in San Antonio. You can tell because its plastered on huge signs everywhere. Theres certainly a good selection and most of the plants looked healthy. Theres also a number of quasi educational sections with advice on plants that attract pollenaters or hardy plants for Texas. The staff were friendly and observed social distancing guidelines (Corona is still a thing at the time of writing). All that said, this place feels less like a plant nursery, and more like a department store for plants. Not in a good way.
This garden center is definitely geared to the plant geek, but has something to offer everyone from the novice to the professional. The staff was attentive without being overly so. Not only were there lots of unusual plants, most had good descriptive signs on them telling what they needed to grow best.I made my purchase, and before I left, I asked the sales clerk if they carried blood lilies. She wasnt sure but radioed for help. Three different people radioed back answers for her and made sure I got my answer. Everyone seemed to care about getting me the information I needed. Ill be back.
Its always fun to wander around Rainbow Gardens. Seriously, I am a plant murderer.I can raise human babies, kittens, puppies, - no problem! But give me a plant, and I can kill it!We needed to find a couple of bushes to replace some that had died in our front yard. Mint and sage have proven fairly hardy, so we bought more of those. We also bought some plants with flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Hopefully, I can keep them alive.Unfortunately, I was hurting too much today to walk on my crutches for long. I found a lovely wooden swing to sit on while I listened to the lovely chimes hanging from a tree. I sent my husband to pick out plants to show me.We just spent the evening planting, or really my husband did the planting and I did the supervising. Now well see how long they live!
Victor is the best at helping with any tree or plant information! He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about plants, as well as knowledgeable and patient. He helped me pick out multiple trees to fit my yard as well as proper soil and planting directions. I went back another time for additional help and he was just as great! Yvette also helped me and she went out of her way to make sure the item I needed was taken care of as the person I originally needed to see was out for the day. I am never disappointed with this garden center! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good quality plants as well as knowledgeable, helpful employees!
No employees anywhere except where you check out. If you walk to them ask for a certain plant they will not walk to show you. They tell you where it might be? Really today was the 3rd time that has happened to me since September 1st. Im finding a new nursery with better customer service. These employees dont care if you buy obviously or they would help you find what you are looking for.
Wonderful experience! Took a Terrarium making class and staff was super patient, helpful, sweet and all together fun! The nursery was absolutely beautiful and want come back just to see everything. Also, its super dog friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends!
Haven’t had issues at the nursery itself but over the phone it’s a whole other story. I don’t know who this particular employee was because I haven’t spoken with her before. I called asking if there was anyone who could give me assistance with a plant. She didn’t ask for further details she just plainly said “Can you call back? All our employees are very busy and it’s a weekend. Can you call back on a weekday?” I couldn’t speak for a few seconds due to shock from the lack of professionalism. She sounded very young as if she had literally zero customer service experience. Such a disappointment
Hi . 5/6/2020...Thank you Rainbow Gardens family for keeping the garden beautiful and stocked with a variety of beautiful trees, flowers and every other plant. Every staff member is so friendly and always ready to answer questions and assist when help is needed.. This is a beautiful place even to take a stroll and enjoy the gardens beauty by the way i had called earlier today and asked for RUTH and the lady who answered the phone went around and and hunted for RUTH and I was able to get help that I needed from her. Thanks to the lady who answered the phone and made sure that I was able to speak with RUTH.... I specifically want to give a shout out!! to RUTH my sister👍👏 the best staff member at Rainbow Gardens on 8516 Bandera Rd. I dont know her second name but I want to express my sincere gratitude for her genuine assistance. She has excellent customer service and people skills, very respectful and kind. She has helped me several times when I have tome to the garden in search of a fruit tree. I highly recommend her to anyone who need guidance in buying a tree or plants because she will help you as much as she can!❤🙌 Thanks Ruth and like I said earlier, expect to get a lot of hugs 🤗when the pandemic is over! Youve made me a happy customer😃 and Ill be back soon.God bless you Ruth and keep you safe!
A local contractor sent us here as a highly recommended store. Wifey and I came by for two visits, looking for a large decorative pot. While the store has a huge selection of pots, the majority are small or medium in size. The large ones were singles, and we needed two. Staff were less than helpful. Prices are a bit high. The selection and variety are nice. The back of the store in the outdoor area is poorly maintained and in serious need of cleaning. Certainly now worth they hype.
The selection is huge and the staff has always been able to assist me finding what I need. The signage provides a great deal of information on the different varieties and care. Even if you dont need to purchase additional plants they have beautiful grounds to walk and view their greenery.
Excellent service. Victor quickly diagnosed and offered a solution to what turned out to be mold growing on my oak tree. He was very knowledgeable and had an excellent attitude as did the lady (wish I got her name) who radioed him for me. I love that tree, so this meant a great deal to me.
The staff is always friendly. The selections of plants are always good. I wish they had more of a selection of seeds. I find myself having to order my hot pepper seeds online. They carry just the typical hotpepper variety. One suggestion Ill make.If I owned this place, Id move the registers over where the Spray Nozzles and Shovels are. When this place gets busy, you cant even walk through the checkout area to get from one side to the next because that layout is very poorly designed.
They usually have a good selection of plants, herbs, and flowers. In addition, they have lots of planting equipment and gardening products. Their Rose selection is impressive and reasonably priced. Most of the employees are very friendly and courteous except for the cashiers.
Today I needed 6 heavy bags of Jungle potting soil hauled to the register and then to my car. Jarik (not Eric, not Derrick) not only helped me find two of the last 3 bags of sand, he also got it all loaded up and stood in line with me (and laughed at my jokes). I am so grateful that you have him on your team. Who says twenty year olds arent awesome!
I love the plants, not so much the bad customer service though. One of the reasons I dont visit often. They always act as though Im bothering them or they are just flat out rude. I enjoy shopping for plants and it seems no matter what, they ruin it for me and I end up leaving and going somewhere else. Its a shame.I hope other have a better experience than I do.
Went to find some plants to help repel mosquitoes. A very big place full of beautiful plants.Ended up leaving without buy anything due to:1. how busy this place gets2. no employees were available to help3. hard to find prices on plants4. how overwhelmed with the amount of plants and not knowing where to startI’ll have to check this place it again and take my time.
I just came from the Rainbow Gardens on Bandera rd. I was not greeted when I walked in. At checkout, I asked the cashier about a discount on a particular item. She told me to ask the owner and motioned that she was seated behind me. I turned to look at her, and she just ignored me. I turned back to the cashier, and then the owner told the cashier that it was from the bargain wall. The cashier then charged me more than the item was marked. I pointed it out to her, and then she she took off the appropriate mark down. As I left, they all turned their backs to me. They did not thank me for shopping there. I usually go to the Thousand Oaks location. Do not go to this one. They are thinning out the plants for the winter and do not give the prices marked at the plant location. Not a pleasant experience for shoppers.
Rainbow Gardens is in full spring. So beautiful and green. So many healthy varieties of plants, herbs, and trees. Love the fragrances that come from nature, such as Jasmine. Lots to see and pick from in the large open lots and in the covered areas and greenhouses. Carts and long ones available to gather your choices. Thank you. Such blessings, bounty and beauty.
I had read a few bad reviews online about the Bandera location & naturally just thought maybe these were a few isolated bad experiences, after all I love the location I normally go to on Thousand Oaks. I just finished coming from their competitor down the street called the Garden Center. On the way back I thought I would check out the Bandera Rainbow Gardens location. They were open for 30 more minutes, so I thought I would just look around & see what they had. Shortly after walking in a lady asked if I needed help finding something & I said no thank you. Her response was rhetorically you dont know what youre looking for? So I paused & said were just browsing &her response, well were closing soon (23 minutes). I said yes Im aware. By this point Im annoyed because she went from posing to be helpful to really just being rude. We carried on browsing, only to notice we were being watched by this lady like a hawk the whole time, she wasnt even trying to hide it. This was my first time here &my last time. I walked out 10 minutes prior to their closing time. I was very dissapointed & will stick to the Thousand Oaks location where there is a stark contrast in customer service. If you dont want customers browsing 30 minutes prior to closing, then maybe you should close sooner, instead treating potential customers poorly. Good customer service goes a long way.
Park-like setting highlighting the best selection of plants, herbs, and trees for San Antonio. The staff is very knowledgeable, but if you prefer to go at it on your own, the fact sheets on each plant are excellent. There is an unbelievable assortment of seeds, garden decorations, and tools. Clean restrooms too!
I love Rainbow Gardens. Everyone is friendly and they have a huge selection. Went to Fanicks today and the only thing I could think about was how much nicer Rainbow Gardens is. Fanicks was also very expensive in comparison.A suggestion. I would like to see better deals on Super Hot peppers. When in season Rainbow Gardens charges $4.99 per super hot and I can find those same plants at HEB for $1-$1.50.Also would like to see the checkout moved. Seems in the way of folks trying to walk in or out.
I really enjoy the nursery, decor, very cozy. Cashier I had a transaction felt discussing removal of someones toe nail with other employees more important than showing good customer skills. I find customer service is a thing of the past. Its a SHAME. Wish I would have obtained the other womans name she was so kind, helpful such an asset to rainbow nursery.
The people who work here do not care about getting your business and have ZERO customer service. All they care about is getting to go home for the day and not running a business. Its a beautiful facility but do not expect to get to walk around freely and browse and enjoy your day as an employee will tell you the second you walk through the door what you should buy just so they can get you out the door as quickly as they can.
One of the best Nursies in San Antonio. Selections are huge. I dont remember her name but the lady that helped us was FABULOUS. She stopped what she was doing (watering plants) and spent at least 45 minutes helping us pick out the right plants and shrubs. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE +++
My favorite nursery to buy all sorts of plants and flowers. During the spring I visit this location a lot. Excellent variety of roses, flowers, plants, trees, potting soils, fertilizers, and containers/pots. They have a wide variety of many items. They frequently have informative classes about many gardening topics. Rainbow Gardens is the best nursery along with Fanicks Nursery if you ask me. The staff is friendly and helpful except for the Hispanic cashier, shes plain rude. Overall, Rainbow Gardens is a must visit place for your gardening/ planting needs.
Went in for a 5 gallon confederate jasmine plant. They had 1 and it cost me $120. I needed a lot more than 1 plant and went to Milbergers the next weekend. Only then did I realize how overpriced Rainbow Gardens was on this item. Milbergers had them for $29 each. Same 5 gallon sizes and all. Ended up buying 8 more of them from Milbergers. Dont think Ill go to Rainbow Gardens again knowing the I might be a raw deal.
One of my favorite places in San Antonio. The layout is nice enough to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery but efficient enough so that if you need something exactly it isnt hard to find. The staff is wonderful, helpful and friendly. They also host events/classes every other weekend or so, some with a fee and some for free!
Watch out! they charge you for the stuff that you did not buy! My mom and I both purchased plants and pots and went home and re-potted the plants and used the pots for other plants. Later that night when we reviewed the charges, we realized that together they charged us an extra 18 dollars by miscalculating the number of items. We called them and they said to bring the receipt back and they will refund us. The next time we went there we showed them the receipt and they refused to refund us because they said that we should bring everything back!!! first of all, how do you expect me to bring the re-potted plants? second, why do you need everything back to refund me for the things that I did not buy?
Some nice and interesting plants. Some of the worst customer service / rudest employees ever seen in retail, with a shocking lack of knowledge about the plants they sell. A lot of i think and i dont know in reply to questions about plants that we were standing right in front of. Worst of all they really dont give a crud and, as others have said here, the employees just want you out so they can go home from this job which they apparently hate. This grey haired female employee (sorry, no name so a description) hunted down myself and my 80 year old mother to announce that we had 9 minutes to get out. Could hardly answer any questions. Re-annouced at 4 minutes while hovering over and trying to herd us out towards the front door. So freaking rude and ignorant. Poor you. Been here since 9am and its hot... quit then! We bought a couple plants anyway (80th birthday gifts) and i gave a little Im not happy being run out of here speech to all the poor employees getting ready to run out the door near the register... no one cared. Its hot blah blah blah. As we were getting ready to drive off i saw what looked like probably the owner slime over to lock and unlock tbe front door... sour, flat look on his face; obviously the chief sourpuss. DONT GIVE THESE JERKS YOUR MONEY GO TO MILBERGERS INSTEAD.
This was my favorite nursery when I lived of Tezel Road several years ago. The staff was very helpful and there was an Ace Hardware store on the other side of the parking lot that had some of the items you needed on the Saturday morning shopping trips that Rainbow Gardens didnt carry.

2022-06-27This is one of the best gardening centers in the area. I drive about an hour just to visit and purchase gardening supplies, plants, herbs, seeds and flowers. They have a huge selection of plants and trees. Everything is reasonably priced. They also have a Koi pond and a beautiful butterfly garden. Everything is beautiful there. Definitely will become a favorite of yours once you visit. Grab a friend and make a day trip of it.

2022-04-03They grade a very large variety of plants, shrubs, trees, planters, and garden accessories for all of your green thumb (or non-green thrumb) growers!! The staff was also very helpful!! They also offer tree and plant planting for a fee. There is also a vendor from Potent selling fresh strawberries and jam. As well as a honey vendor and a Fredericksburg peach vendor when they are in season.

2021-05-16•I didnt realize this place was so big!•There was a wide variety of plants and I was so tickled to see them all. They had everything I needed to make my terrarium and I bought an extra plant just-because.• I found 2 employees that were able to help me & they were so sweet and helpful. There was a long line for the outside registers (Saturday afternoon) but the line went very quickly. They were really hustling to get customers out in a timely fashion. Super nice!•This is my new go-to for all my plant needs ❤️🌱

2022-05-06I love rainbow not only because of the quality of their plants but for the people. Honestly it’s the reason I go back. One person really goes out of her way every time and never lets me down. Claire, kind, easy to talk to, professional and knowledgeable. It’s just what you need to have repeat customers like me coming back and always leaving happy plant or not!

2022-06-05First time visit today. Left through a gate that was open and passed an employee who said nothing. Once on the outside a female employee coming back in said I could not leave through this gate. I said really since I was already out. She was rude and did not say good morning first or approach in a pleasant manner. How am I to know that this was not allowed when I passed another employee who said nothing and no signs. It is not up to me to know but them to keepArea secure. Letting me know would be fine but to assume that I knew it was not allowed and not being polite is not a good way to get customers to come back. Looks like a huge selection and seems to always be backed when I pass by every week. I am sure they are not all rude but this one made the whole experience very poor. Hope she was just having a bad morning and usually is more cheerful and helpful to customers.
