Nice field and area is kept well, stands are lacking a little comfort for that type of field but all-in-all nice. Parking and traffic leaving after an event on the other hand is nightmarish.
Never really thought of rating thie stadium but its nice crowd a little rambuctious during football lots of onrey children id stay home n watch if i could but as far as the stadium its a stadium
Nice place for Friday nite High school or Saturday College game. Aluminum bleachers with turf field situated North to South end zones.
Because I was asked the question how was my visit at R E St.John Memorial Stadium I have to be honest it was track and field day for our youth the gating is not the greatest they should take into consideration that mothers and fathers have smaller children strollers buggies chairs coolers tents Etc to bring in for the duration of the festivities that would be great and on the other hand the Oil Belt relay 4 our track team at Kilgore High School would not only bring Revenue but fun-filled event to support our track and field students does anyone remember that? let me know since I was asked the question. Does anyone remember Robert Harris,or Dominion liner and what they did for Kilgore track team I do I didnt miss an event!**
Was an awesome venue to watch Kilgore High school varsity football , and the final play was something spectacular. You may see it on the highlight reel.
Really nice stadium! Good concession stands with pretty decent food for a stadium.
Great stadium safe and fun. Parking is a pain when youre at a home game..
Have hard seats if you got back problem or health.
It looks run down, but in reality offers good views of the football game.

2021-09-18Friday Night Lights!!! My daughter is in the high school band so this is where we spend our Friday nights. Plenty of space to park and to sit for the games. This stadium is home to the Kilgore High School Bulldogs and the Kilgore College Rangers. I would like to see in the near future maybe some revamp version of this stadium to maybe get to the level of some of the other teams we play.

2021-04-11Very enjoyable place to watch a football game. While it is old and outdated, the field appears to be in good condition and the location in relation to the school is good.Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at this stadium.

2021-10-29Stadium is in DIRE NEED OF REPAIRS, IN PARTICULAR I NOTICED, THE BLEACHERS. The field didnt appear too bad, but overall needs mean do something soon before it gets much worse!!

2020-11-14This field needs to be completely redone. It is falling apart in all places. More parking, and new field,bleachers,bathrooms,locker rooms,etc...we also need another track to hold track meets ...

2018-10-07The Stadium was nice ad the food OK and prices was alittle High only thing I didnt like was, they dont help their peoples tht wrk there out. Its not gonna break them by offering them sum to eat and drink. They dont get nothing for being there to setup ad cleanup the place.
