Went in paid for first month recliner. Said they would deliver it Tuesday. Well Tuesday was a snow day. Excuse excepted. Now its Wednesday. My order should have been first on the delivery truck. Call rent a center. Victoria answered. Very rude lady by the way. Said the driver was in Austin picking stuff up. Manager was getting his car fixed. Well now you know why Im giving this place one star. Poor delivery service and poor customer service. My recliner wasnt even on the truck it was still at the store. If only Robert where still at the store. Well time to go get my money back sorry wont do business here again. Lesson brush up on your customer service skills and get more drivers. Take care now
The worst customer service ever. Was told after being 4 days late they are coming to get my stuff.. and I have bought everything I own from them. New management came in and tries to tell me nope wont wait pay or we will come get. One they start calling 9 am the day the payment is due. People hit hard times especially around the holidays..due they care nope.. come get it I will never due business with them again.
I deliberately went to a different store after reading the reviews of this location. Seems as though everyone at this company stretches the truth about their policies. Told me one thing, closed that store and transferred my account to this store, who tells me something else, and calls me darlin. Oh, Im from the south, like that makes it ok. Well, Im not your darlin, Im a customer, and you are offensive. I was hoping their customer service practices had improved, but apparently not.
I had to rent furniture due to a home fire. This company completely lied about the auto pay option. Will never do business with these crooks!!
STOP calling me! I do NOT have an account with you yet you continue harassing me! And at 9pm on a Monday night!! 3 calls a week!! What does it take to get such simple paperwork donr to fix this problem? I would suggest to everyone to not do business with these idiots!
They never stop calling!!!! They call all hours of the day. Show up to your house beating on the doors windows and honk their horn at 8 o clock at night. Oh and dont deliver stuff to you that you buy.
That is a good place the people are nice but if you rent anyting it runs into money fast.

2022-04-23My baby girl loves this new COUCH! It’s so comfortable & so long. I didn’t even know the throw pillows came with it. Scott the manager was awesome to work with. Miguel had stuck out his neck for me when he didn’t have to, to get me a great TV bundled with this couch! Miguel was wonderful to work with, very easy to talk to, very commutative, & attentive to what I needed. He helped a whole bunch to make things happen.Thank you Miquel & Scott! Scott, he ACTUALLY DELIVERED THE FURNITURE HIMSELF! What other manager does that?

Miguel Rangel always makes sure the customer is happy with there purchase and always willing to work with you with any issues concerning service or finances I will never buy from anyone else, if you want a place that give the best customer service and product you have found it .

2020-03-01I’m not one to write a review for bad business. However I couldn’t help but to write one on this page! I advise you to not rent from these people! I went to Rent a Center two weeks ago to rent to own a bedroom set from them. The guy who sold me the bedroom set was in a rush (because they were closing soon) and didn’t tell me to much about the furniture that I ordered. When they delivered the furniture to my house they dropped the dresser, cracked a side table, the footboard of the bed had a crack and they forgot that I had asked for a metal rail, to support the mattress. 😩I didn’t know that the bed had lights nor did the sales guy tell me before he rushed us out the store a few days earlier... I was not impressed by them and my husband wasn’t to fond either... so here I am standing in my bedroom with all broken merchandise while the delivery guys tell me that they will let their manager know. Which they did... so before they left I was told to find something else that I like and they will exchange it. A day or two later I pick out a new bedroom set, and patiently wait on them to get it in and deliver it... so today I get call saying it’s in and their bringing it! Yayy😃!!No 😭When they delivered it they dropped the mirror and scratched it all up, the bed has a chip or two on it and the mattress doesn’t fit the bed frame. The bed frame has three small poles holding the mattress up and I’ve been asking for a metal post 🗣🗣 the delivery guys were nice tho... so long story short 😉 save your money and your time and go elsewhere!& if I could’ve given them zero stars I would have!

2020-06-08I started my original agreement at the former Elgin RAC location. My account was transferred to Bastrop and I have been nothing but pleased with their level of customer service. For that reason I just today finalized my 3rd RAC agreement. Every time I call RAC I always get Miguel. Hes a great employee and I am always so happy hes the one I get when I call! He made the new agreement so easy and through the whole process his customer service has been outstanding! RAC Bastrop, Miguel deserves a raise! Just sayin.

2017-12-01They allowed someone to add items to my account WITHOUT my permission and now they wont stop harassing me about the items or payment. Ive filed a complaint and Ive told the store manager and they want me to do the leg work to fix their issues. I was told oh yea Ive done that before as a rep to make a sale after I gave a bad survey review, so apparently it is an ongoing issue with this business. I wouldnt advise anyone to rent from here. They call several times from different numbers and come to your house and then the even tried to threaten me with theft charges if I didnt return items I dont have. I will NEVER do business with them again or advise anyone else to.

2020-09-14I love the people at this location.... Dustin and Scott are freaking amazing people with excellent customer service skills.... I never have a problem with them... anything I need or want they find it. I have been renting from Rent A Center for about 10 years and thanks to them I will be a forever customer... thank you guys for everything you do!!!!!!
