We have had the most enjoyable experience thanks to the staff at this location, Nikki was who helped us out multiple nights through our busy season. The Weekly night shift manager (i never caught her name) was great also, if anyone has to stop this is the best whataburger to do so. It is at Mile Marker 582, if you can wait, its highly recommended. Thank you Nikki for always making us feel welcome and putting a smile on our faces regardless of what you may go through we will never know. Thank you!!!

It’s What-A-Burger….of course it’s good. Maybe not the fastest but that is because it is fresh cooked…, not pre-cooked and reheated as seems the case with many fast foods. Great shakes too.
This is an Awesome Whataburger!A must stop if youre passing through. Really cool interior thats full of Beatles memorabilia and a Harley in one of the cases.
The parking was free and wheelchair accessible. The restroom was shared with a national gas station chain. The employees were courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. I was unfamiliar with a sauce on the menu and a employee allowed me to sample it. The sauce was delicious. Seating was available and the temperature inside the Whataburger was pleasant.

The best Whataburger location in Texas. Excellent food, with an impressive display of rock and roll memorabilia. They even have an authentic Beatles display with full drum kit and guitars.

I come to this location quite a bit and the food is always great. The morning staff is always friendly and even though this location closes a little early at night, the staff on hand is always ready to take your order and do a fantastic job.Update: Avoid eating here during lunch. My order took at least 30 minutes in the drive-thru and I only ordered 1 item, a chicken taquito.
I went with some friends after skating, excellent service and good food at decent prices. I recommend it.
On Monday of last week, my partner and I stopped in for lunch and had probably the BEST Whataburger hamburgers and fries weve had anywhere in Texas. Fries were cooked to perfection and the hamburger was as good. This is our 3rd time to stop at this location on our way to Shreveport. Looking forward to our next trip already. Staff was great too. 5 Stars
I like this Whataburger, but it does take them a bit longer than usual to get the orders out. It is Whataburger so it is what it is.
Night shift review- During the daytime I get excellent service and friendly staff, it seems like whenever night shift takes over then that all disappears. I’ll usually go eat around 11:30pm and I consistently get a bad experience. The 2 stars is for the food the food is good as always and I’ve never had any problems with that but the staff are the ones that didn’t get 5 stars. The drive through speaker is answered by someone who sounds like they don’t want to be there and is barely audible. I get the same amount of enthusiasm from one particular employee that works the register in the drive through, she’s not a supervisor. The food usually takes it’s time getting to me but that’s understandable with night shift but sometimes it’s an exorbitant amount of time which is unacceptable.
Ate at Whataburger. You know it’s good when you have to take a bite of it before you take a pic.
Food is usually good, service is hit or miss, seems drive thru gets priority over dine in, had multiple dine in orders screwed up or lost, always tell them easy on sauces otherwise they will drown burger in mustard/mayo/etc, can get some decent deals on the app but is a pain to use if/when you can get it to work
It was good. Not the biggest fan of whataburger, but Im my area, about all you can get late at night. Find it a bit pricey for what you get but beggars cant be choosers. If you live whataburger, this one is up to par with the rest of the chain. Food is fresh and service is good.

The sign on the door says they open at 6:00 AM. The door isnt unlocked until after 7:00AM. I was told they didnt have counter help until 7. I now have breakfast somewhere else.

Triple check your order. It wont be what you asked for and then be ready to wait for it to be fixed while employees stand looking at imaginary fairys floating around their heads. It took 4 employees and 10 minutes just to get a slice if cheese
I really hate giving this review because my friends LOVE this place. Never had a Whataburger so I was looking forward to it. It wasnt good. It was overcooked and just not worth finishing. It was thrown out after 2 bites. I gave it a star for their vanilla shake.
Amazing Beatles memorabilia here. Funny story, my daughter is a vegetarian and I asked the young lady if they had veggie burgers and she asked me if I meant a burger with vegetables on it or a bun with veggies on it with the loveliest little drawl - to which I deadpanned grilled cheese please. Bless her heart, I love Texas and Whataburger too.

Oh I happen to enjoy this truck stop / dinner stop. These employees at this particular whataburger were hospitable, and prompt to assist my needs . As my thoughts or was it my stomach that did the thinking here . Point is they assured my hunger needs were met. They were friendly as well I cant quite recall the female employees that awaited the pastor and I but they were great.
Best burger place around, clean and fast service. The place is clean and professional, the team there seems to work well together and my food is always hot and delivered quickly. The manager is very friendly and any time Im there she interacts with the customers always making sure they have what they need refilling drinks etc.

My husbands absolutely favorite burger place We live in NC where there are none so always a treat when we go out west. We stopped at this location while driving home. Food was hot and delicious. I even bought 2 extras to take home and they were great as well.

Were sp at this location at least once a month. The food is usually good, when they get it right. FYI.... they never do. We always have to ask then to fix it and when we take it to go, were have to return. Kind if a let down.

Stopped by Whataburger in Royse City Texas and you can clearly saying that the cheese is not melted the burger was cold. I did not have time to bring it back, because the lines were so long , you have to sit in line too long before you get your food. I was very disappointed because I can clearly tell that they did not use a fresh patties because if they had the cheese would have melted by a right off the grill patties. Fries or never hot thats why I do not order them anymore from Whataburger theyre in Royse City..

I go to this location frequently. They are usually pretty good. Service great. Clean facilities. Even after a long stint of not going the when i come back the lady (aCant remember her name) always remembers me and my usual. The one knock on them is that they can never seem to have my order ready in the 5 minute winday they give you for an online order. But other than that, no real complaints. Drop by and pick up something, say hi, and pick up you favorites. This is definitely one of my go-tos.
We had a large order during a busy time. It was a little past 11 pm. We didnt get all our food and didnt realize until we got home. We were missing a drink and a burger. Very disappointing.
Drove thru the drive-thru lane and grabbed a regular hamburger combo while traveling and after getting back onto the interstate is when I notice my medium size coke cup was fill with nothing but ice. I dont know if this is a normal practice or not but was a bit disappointed as a result.
First time there or any Whataburger for that matter. I was not impressed as I could not find my burger for all the mustard on it. I would like to be fair and admit that I was one of four people eating and everyone else enjoyed their meal, I just happened to be the one who was disappointed. Overall the food and service was about what you would expect. It was clean and had a fun vibe about the place.

Extremely friendly staff. Packaging was neat and organized. Food was good. Dr pepper was good. It was like my mom sent me out the door to school with my paper lunch sack! I did get the kids meal with a grilled cheese so it makes sense!

The food was so-so. The service was great. Ask anyone who eats fast food in the DFW area, and they will express strong opinions about what is the best burger joint. Many of our new friends and acquaintances here raved about Whataburger, but I just dont see what people (and the brand name) are raving about. Maybe they are really just milkshake junkies? I may have to go back and try a milkshake to see if they are any good.

I rarely go to Whataburger any more. They have just lost their appeal to me. But we do go as a family every now and then and usually for breakfast, and this Whataburger is good. They are usually fast and friendly and the store seems very clean and taken care of. We will be back.
In my humble opinion, this is the best Whataburger in Texas. The food is always hot and fresh and the staff is always super friendly. I travel I-20 regularly and I always make a point to stop at this specific Whataburger, it totally makes up for the always disappointing one in the town I live in.
Root Beer tasted flat. The young girl behind the counter had been here since 5am, and she showed me a bag of greasy cold french fries that they gave her to munch on while she waited on customers, while a manager sat out in the dining room and ate a burger. You could see how tired she was. Being manager in the fast food business, this should be unacceptable in all aspects. I paid for her meal that they will let her have at the end of her shift.
Love whataburger, but everytime I go to this location I have to wait at least 10 minutes to get my food no matter what time of day. Sweet and spicy is my all time favorite but I will not buy it from this location because the bacon is always old and burnt. Never fresh.

Came in this morning (11-7-18) and had one of my best customer service experiences in my life from Elton. I was having a bad day before he made sure that myself and the other customers were smiling and satisfied. They were completely rude messed up our order gave us a medium instead of a large shake and when we asked if they could fix it they rolled their eyes and said well it says a medium none of the employees were wearing a mask properly I work in a place that requires you to wear one and I wear mine the whole time even though Im asthmatic most of them had it under their chin our fries and onion rings were burnt and they put the onion rings upside down in the bag when I went to eat my burger I noticed they only put 1 small strip of bacon on it as we were checking our bags we noticed we didnt have any straws so we tried to wave someone down and we asked for the straws they only gave us 2 for the 4 drinks we have we asked for 2 more and they again rolled their eyes and shoved it at us I dont normally complain and I dont want to be a Karen but tonights service was horrible they were just plain rude
This is a good place to stop and get a quick bite. Do not expect anything fancy from this location, it serves a purpose. If your hungry traveling down 20, this is a good gas station to stop at and a great place to grab some whataburger.

My very first visit at a Whataburger and Im hooked. This location has that lovely 50s/60s vibe. The place is meticulously clean and the young lady at the counter was patient and gave me a great food suggestion as a newbie. I get the #1 with cheese and a tea and is was a great beginners choice. Music from the 50s and 60s rounded the visit off and Ill count Whataburger to my fav burger places now.
Put onions on my avocado burger even though receipt said no onions. Manager ignored me for a while then had attitude when an employee told her i was waiting. New burger had a drop of avocado pretty annoying considering the meal is over $9.

This visit was a disappointment. I walked toward the bathroom and I could spell the awful smell before I entered it. When I walked it the smell was horrific. The food was cold and the drinks were awful. I walked back up to the counter to tell one of the crew members that the bathroom needed cleaning and I could smell the bathroom as I walked up to the counter. I told the crew member and all she said was ok thank you. I will never visit this organization.
Visited several WhatABurger establishments at gas stations in Texas yesterday while fleeing Louisiana from Hurricane Laura. WhatABurger rest rooms were definitely the cleanest of any chain burger restaurants I have visited.
I loved the classic 1950s theme and the wait staff was top-notch! We choose this Whataburger anytime we go out as a family, they are wonderful and they keep the place spotless!
While my order was fine my wife asked for no Mayonnaise on her chicken sandwich. When she returned home her sandwich had nothing on it.. the most expensive bread Ive ever paid for.

Went in to order a drink. Apparently all of the drinks were flat. My daughter used her gift card. They would not give us our money back. The manager was very rude and walked off talking about me under breath. I asked if it doesnt work why not put a sign. She walked away. Will never stop here again. Very rude management.

Dine in not open 24hrs
Just got home from there with my burger and fries. The fries were cold, but thats okay since it was take out but....so was the burger!! It was half raw and still cold from the freezer.Oh my!! Im freaking out...this has never happened to me before....
Their service was extremely slow. Especially seeing that they werent busy. In addition they are in process of remodeling the inside so there is minimum seating and the place looks a mess
The most interesting Whataburger I have ever been to. Enjoyed the memorabilia of the Beatles. Food is always great.
Good burgers, though it seems that, like everywhere else, the prices are climbing!
Stopped in early for a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and got a free seniors coffee. They have the best sausage egg and cheese biscuit.
Had heard this place was not up to par. Seen first hand. Took forever to get my order. And they apparently dont understand the difference between for here, and to go.
Its just hard to beat the flavor of Whataburger. Been eating them over 50 years and ya cant say that about many restaurants
Well the purpose of calling in an order is to arrive, pay and leave with ABSOLUTELY NO WAIT... i give them about 10 min b4 i leave and I still waited almost 15 min b4 i got my food!!!
This location was great. Decorated with a vintage feel, and although it was packed... service was quick and very personal.
Extremely rude service in the drive thru simply because I could not understand her and asked her to repeat herself. Called to speak to manager and he seemed to not care. Will not go back for awhile
I was thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast biscuit was very good. Kudos.
Tried BOB for 1st time, was good. Gave Military discounts.

If you could not do a star that is what i would do. I have never had an experience like I did at this Whataburger. The workers were rude and the managers were worse. I will never return to this place.

From South Carolina, wanted to try Texas famous whataburger. Maybe it was the location, but I dont get what all the fuss is about.Chicken was rubbery and kind of gross.

2022-06-30Burger was great. I waited 4 or 5 minutes for my food. My fries were cold and nasty. Didnt take it back since I was on the interstate. There were 15-20 employees in that kitchen so there is no excuse for cold food. Especially when it was 12 bucks for a burger, fries, drink.. I wont ever go back to this location.

2021-11-02Super fast service, very friendly staff, hot and delicious meal, and very clean lobby. Was a very nice experience as I stopped in while traveling from Georgia. Made me wish I could take this place home with me.

2022-06-28We stopped by late on Sunday night 6/26 just before the lobby closed, though we didnt realize that at the time. Normally we just use the drive through. We did have a small bit of a wait for our order, but soon realized that there were only 2 people working there that night, a petite caucasian woman and an AfricanAmerican man. Our order was hand delivered to us at our table by the cook, who apologized for the wait. We told him no worries, looks like they were short-handed. Our orders were correct and assembled perfectly, not just thrown together. Both were polite and professional. Driving away, we saw there were several cars in the drive through. These 2 did a fantastic job, working seamlessly to get the orders taken care of. They should both be rewarded with a paid day off. Great job! We will be stopping here again!

If the young lady, that finally waited on me, had placed her flirting with her co-worker, and some other fellow that walked in (and stayed), on hold...and the two young fellows dancing in the back had actually made my meal...I would have given 5 stars....because I love their burgers.

2019-03-20This was by far the nicest and fanciest Whataburger restaurants Ive ever visited...and its attached to a gas station! Theres rock and roll decor and 50s music and the whole place is setup like a 50s diner. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast and efficient. I highly recommend this location!

2022-02-01Maybe the best whataburger I have been to in years. Service was exceptional, lady at the front very polite and working hard. Food came out amazingly fast and and was on point. I worked at Whataburger when I was 16 long time ago and got lots of service awards including the 95 plus club so I hold whataburger stores to high standards and this one is excellent!

2021-10-12Wow as a musician and lover of rock and roll memorabilia I was astonished by the collectibles they have at this particular Whataburger who knows where I can get the custom Whataburger fender Stratocaster serious question... The manager saw trash on the floor and immediately acted, had employees sweep before very clean environment.
