Salata in other cities:
I forgot they have wraps so today i got a shrimp wrap. It was quite tasty. Packed full of good healthy veg. Just what i was in the mood for.Previous review-> 6 mnths ago Soooo yummy and fresh tasting. I took 1 star off today cause the caesar dressing didnt taste as good as usual. Not sure if they make this in house or what but it tasted off.
Salata is to salad what Chipotle is to the burrito. Wide selection of salad ingredients and you can make a wrap out of it if you choose. Very busy at lunch but seems to clear out by 1 pm if you can wait. The restaurant is clean, trendy, healthful and they post calories for all ingredients. Large selection of teas and they have clean restrooms as well.
Amazing is just the word I can think of for this place! Such a wide variety of selection of toppings and dressing for a salad is just a win win situation and all that for a nominal price. This is my to go place for satisfying Lunch and I have never disappointed with the choice
Love this place. If you want a salad really quickly you can go in and customize your salad. The prices have changed in the last month and actually gotten higher. New workers seem to be a little stingy with the toppings too. I love the pita chips, my fave. But I usually spends 18 to 20 on one visit.
Whoa! This is a big salad! The tea I had was pretty good. The salad I had was awesome! I didnt receive the less than stellar service others seem to have had during my visit. The staff were extremely accommodating. I will definitely be back soon. Thanks!UPDATE! 9.8.18Holy sun-dried tomatoes Im back baby!!! I had to let everyone know that even though its still warm out, the white bean chipotle soup is going to be a wintertime favorite of mine. Something about it just seems cozy. The only thing I would like to see are more pita chips with my soup. Those are delicious!
Amazing amount of options, super fresh veggies & fruit, friendly staff, tons of protein options (chicken, shrimp, salmon, bacon, etc), delicious and plentiful options for dressing as well.. did I mention the portions are right on point?? I was able to get my dressing on the side and split a large salad between 2 meals! Definitely a great deal.I found my new favorite spot for sure!!
I’ve ordered delivery three or four times from this location and they always mess up my order somehow (forgotten items or dressing, low quality, etc.) Never had a problem at any other Salata location. Will not be ordering from this specific location again. Love Salata though.
Really good! Like every Salata Ive been to, very clean and the food was on time and fresh and delicious. This location doesnt have the soda fountains but has the tea options. The center its in is really nice too with lots of parking. The employees were also all really friendly.
Food is amazing always. But they use door dash for delivery and everytime it takes 30 minutes to get my food to my house. I live 1.2 miles away... I watch the driver drive around Arlington before I get my food. Thats not right I think they shouldnt drive around with peoples food like that. Im glad my food is cold food but still... I paid for the service I should get my food right away. Theres no reason they should pickup my food then go to wing stop n other fast food places then go deliver the hot foods and pass my house three times before coming back and dropping mine off....
Best salad spot Ive been to! I ordered online, which was super easy, the selection is fantastic. Some people may scoff at a $12 salad but this thing is massive and arguably one of the best salads Ive ever had with wonderfully fresh ingredients. Cant wait to try out some other combinations!
The 5 stars is purely for the young lady Tristan who made my salad. This might be the first time that I feel like I actually got my monies worth. Normally all of the people are barely giving you anything. Even on the lettuce base. This is how you get a good review from me.
I use to go often , literally 3 times a week and purchase 2 small salads per visit. Although I must admit that I felt it was a little high in price, I felt that it was so worth it cause it was fresh, healthy, taste so good and the portion was good, until the pandemic hit and now the small salad they serve you is so much smaller than it was before. I still go but very seldom. I now rather purchase the ingredients and make it myself.
I felt like eating a salad so I decided to stop by and dine-in at Salata. I got a traditional Caesar Salad with a few tomatoes and salmon. The restaurant wasnt busy, but the ladies on the line seemed to be in a rush. I have only gone to Salata a couple of times, so I was trying to think of what more I wanted. Which is why the first lady seemed impatient. The second lady was very sweet. She seemed to be in a rush, but it didnt feel like she was rushing me, more that she was being rushed by her coworker. The food was okay, definitely not worth $17. I would expect better quality. I know the store itself doesnt set prices, corporate does, so I dont blame the employees. When I got to my table to sit, the spot was dirty. So I know this location doesnt sanitize between customers. At the time of me sitting down, there were 5 other people in the establishment and there were 3 ladies by the register talking amongst themselves. I noticed because I wanted to take my tray back to them so they wouldnt have to worry about picking it up. A woman who sat behind me left after she finished eating. No one sanitized the table and seat there as well. The same happened when a couple of people were sitting in front of me and they left. Sanitization is part of the procedure of keeping the establishment clean in the food industry, even before COVID. Please make sure you are sanitizing accordingly.
This was the 1st time that I had visited Salata but I can tell you that it wont be my last. I ordered a salad with mixed greens and spinach along with various veggies but what made the salad, in my opinion, was the addition of the seafood mix (included shrimp & crab) and the lemon vinaigrette mixed in. Talk about Delicious and Satisfying. Looking forward to my next visit.
The lady that was making my salad wouldnt add more lettuce when I told her Im not adding anything other then salad and a couple of veggies. Totally disappointed in this location. Ive been to other Salatas and have never been told I cant have more spinach or romaine lettuce. I order a regular sized salad to go and didnt even fill up the plastic containers.
Like a prior reviewer said, I agree. We really enjoyed our food. All very fresh and tasty. Restaurant was super clean as well. The staff is much less than friendly. When asking for salad toppings we were given tiny portions, then dirty looks when asking for more. They seemed bordering on angry to serve us. After being seated we noticed a man who was clearly a manager giving much better service- offering unlimited portions and even offering folks a taste of things they were considering. We will try again.. also please add a hook in the ladies room for handbags - very inconvenient.
I found this place by accident yesterday in Irving Texas while out with a friend and found one closer to my home in Arlington and took my brother for early dinner today and we both loved it, the food was fresh, the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. They even let you sample the meats and salad dressing.
There are a vast amount of ingredients to choose from to make your salad as unique as you are! Everything there is fresh and flavorful including the teas! I do suggest you place an order online as this place can get very full during lunchtime. The website is quick and easy to use and gives you all of the options you would have available to you as if you were in the store.
Clean environment, friendly smiley faces. No problem accommodating my allergies. I told the young lady I was allergic to mushrooms and immediately she changed her gloves and got all the ingredients from below. Awesome. I enjoyed my salad n soup. Food is fresh. I will definitely recommend.
My husband placed and order to pick up. When he brings our food home, my salad was missing 4 of the ingredients that are printed on the receipt attached to the container including avocado, which we all know always cost extra. I drive all the way back up there explaining the situation and I’m looked at like “what do you want me to do”. I offer can you please just remake my salad correctly? She remakes and almost forgets one of the ingredients again but honestly it’s just the utter lack of customer service. No apology was offered, I had to ask for the salad to be remade, it’s incredibly frustrating that they have a total lack of consideration for their customers. I’ll be driving the extra 2 miles to the location off 161 instead.
Best salad you could possibly get in Arlington, they have a great selection on lettuce, toppings, meats. Hell their soups are even good! One thing is that it can kinda get expensive if youre not careful. Other than that I would 10/10 recommend to anybody looking for a good salad spot
This place is PERFECT for the salad lover like me and I visit often. However, this last visit I noticed a sanitation issue that concerned me. I was in line behind a man that handing the worker a piece of paper that had all the salad ingredients written down. I’m assuming he was ordering for someone. No problem. The issue is she handled the piece of paper with her work gloves on and then dug into the lettuce with the same gloves on. This is a big problem because I don’t know where that paper came from (dirty pocket, dirty car) or the fact that the man came in with it with his own unwashed hands and it went straight over the counter into the hands of the person touching the food. When it was my turn I politely asked her to change gloves and she was more than nice and happy to do it which was a relief. I explained to her why and she understood but I was still grossed watching the contaminated receipt go down the line of employees so for that reason I only picked Ingredients that could be scooped with a spoon. Can you please educate or make sure employees don’t take items from customers when handling food? That paper could of been god knows where before it came in the store. If he can’t say his order out loud and read it himself it shouldn’t be ordered. OR it should be touched prior to gloving hands. Otherwise this place is 5 stars
I love this place, great salad its not wet like those other places and nobody but the staph can touch the ingredients unlike those nasty buffets. They have lots of ingredients to add and different protein choices. Last time I went I got the smoked turkey it was great and I normally dont like turkey but this turkey had really good flavor.
Im really not much of a salad guy but after my first visit, Ive been back three times and brought family and friends. Its just that good! You choose everything you want in your salad yourself so you dont get anything you dont want and they have so many fresh options! Also I recommend trying their lemonades or teas!
I really love being able to create my own salads. The restaurant is clean and fast. There are plenty of options to make a different salad every time I go. The two biggest things I wish were different about the store was more seating and having a baby changing station available.
Delicious make your own salad bar. The best dressing Ive tried is the Herb Vinaigrette and I highly recommend you get it and ask for extra! They usually have a special monthly item or two so be on the look out for that. Its a little on the pricey side but the quality is there so its worth it in my opinion.
I hate to give it 2 stars because the salad was amazing and the variety and options are endless. But. The 2 girls that worked were speaking Spanish about my daughter and I as we made choices. I absolutely have no problem with that, but it was very unprofessional and obvious we were annoying them.
Probably one of my favorite places to eat. The options for your salad are endless & everything Ive had from here is awesome! The price is a little high, but you get a ton of food & its so yummy! Definitely worth it! I would of totally given 5 stars if the service was better. Their staff havent been very helpful or friendly anytime Ive been unfortunately. Good thing they have amazing food, thats what keeps me coming back.
I like this build your own salad concept. They have fresh ingredients and plenty to choose from. The dining room has a good amount of tables and is usually clean. The lunch rush wait time is not bad even though the line can get long, it moves quickly. I always get the big salad, its only $1 more than the small. I would give 5 stars but I find it a bit pricy for lettuce and the fountain beverages are not all that good. Theres not a good selection and whats there doesnt really taste good (tea mostly, one lemonade). I usually get a big salad with chicken, a drink, and two cookies and that comes up to $16.50 or so. The cookies are very small so I get two, they are pure sugar, butter and chocolate heaven! I go here about 3xs a month.
Nice place, always very clean. Great selection of items for your salad or wrap. Nice selection of teas as well. Online ordering was easy in and out. This is a great choice to stop in for a quick lunch to go or to sit down and have dinner. Conveniently located in the new Champions Park shopping center.
Fresh ingredients with much variety for making a custom salad. Streamlined service and nice seating area. A little pricey for fast food but cheaper and better quality than a salad you would buy from many sit-down restaurants. I am especially fond of their tofu, its extra firm with a nice, toasty flavor.
Poor customer service. My daughter and I tried Salata today for the first time after visiting Smoothie King next door. While placing our order the young lady at the front counter appeared annoyed. She never made any recommendation. She just appeared annoyed and bothered. The salad was pretty mediocre considering it’s cost $8.00 for the salad and $3.00 for the meat protein and 4.00 for the premium protein ( shrimp, crab meat and seafood mix). It’s really a chipotle on steroids as it has more variety.
Very clean, well-lit space. I really enjoyed the tea tap: I had a prickly pear lemonade that was perfect for the 107 degrees it was outside. For first-time visit, Id recommend following someone elses lead or taking the time to look at all the options before ordering. I made the mistake of putting the wrong ingredients together for some odd flavor combinations. Next time, I expect to have a very fresh, filling, and delicious salad.
Food is always good, as it’s hard to mess up a salad but this particular visit yesterday was disappointing to say the least. My friend and I were treated as bothersome nuisances as we were unaware we arrived 30 mins prior to closing. No one was in line when we arrived, however, our “greeting” was “We’ll be with you shortly.” We waited, confused, for about a min or two and then was dryly helped by a worker. Another worker proceeded to clean and wipe all around the food, even taking some items out the bar as to let us know they were ready to go and not to wanting to serve us. The first worker made it to the end of the line helping my friend as I was still at the beginning of the line waiting on toppings other than lettuce. Mind you, The first worker fixed our two salads but in a not so timely manner because the other worker refused to help her and continued to clean instead. My salad bowl was literally beside the second worker’s hand waiting on ingredients as she cleaned with the other hand. I watched her take the items I asked for out the bar (as if to put away for the night) and for whatever reason she didn’t give them to the worker actually making the salads. She only further inconvenienced us. Shortly afterwards, a white couple came in and the second worker not only rushed to take her gloves off and attend to them but she greeted them kindly and warmly—-polar opposite of what we got. “Welcome to Salata, how may I help you...”The lady customer asked if they were closing and the worker told her “Oh no, we still have 30 mins til close. You all are fine, no worries.” The white couple behind us made in thru the line in half the time it took us because they were actually treated like humans, and more importantly paying customers. I expressed my frustrations while still in line and the first worker just looked cluelessly instead of doing or saying anything. The worker at the register (worker #3) was far more pleasant but by that time, the damage was too far done and for the first time in life, I did not leave a tip. I will not be back.* I forgot to mention that salad prices have gone up $1 but the portions have gone down. Workers are very stingy, as if the customers are not the ones being robbed here. *
Go to the salata downtown Fort Worth ! The staff at this one acts like money comes out of their check if they put too much veggies/fruit on your salad. Even if you request more of something on your salad they catch an attitude and put a “sprinkle” more on there. You would think you would get your money’s worth for $10+ for a salad. The one downtown Fort Worth doesn’t act stingy, once they’re done fixing it, it barely fits in the to go container. And, the customer service is 10x better too. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
Only 4 stars because if youre not careful things can add up. The other day I spent $17 and some change on their small salad, a cup of broccoli soup, which was very bland and gross, and on one of their one sized fountain drinks. Dont get me wrong, I loved the salad in which Ive been back and will be back, but for the salad only. One more thing, their fresh herb vinaigrette salad dressing is delicious!!!
I found this place by accident yesterday in Irving Texas while out with a friend and found one closer to my home in Arlington and took my spouse for early dinner today and we both loved it, the food was fresh, the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. They even let you sample the meats and salad dressing.

OH MAN!!!! Yummy. The salad is big even if you get a small. You get all the veggies you want, which is right up my alley!! But they also have wonderful protein options besides meat, such as quinoa, tofu, avocado and more! I am a ranch person, but this time I branched out and so glad I did! Try the Lemon Vinaigrette, I want more just thinking about it!
Took my mother for a dinner date. Salad seemed very fresh. Huge selection of options to add into your salad. Store was very clean. Staff could use a little bit of customer service training. Lady at the register, I think her name was Nataly....She was super nice. Definitely coming back.
Great choices, but the line is horribly slow, and the place is severely understaffed. Doesnt compare well with Jasons Deli. I might as well consider other places as worse as its getting. A 30 person deep line at 11:30 that was hardly moving, so I turned around after 5 minutes and went elsewhere. Sorry but my lunch break doesnt last 2 hours.
This place is not all that. You get a basic salad for 14 bucks with unlimited toppings, but when you ask for more then what they initially give you, which is very little for the price, the workers give you this evil how dare you ask for more toppings type look. I will just stick to Jasons Deli where I can get a fresh full-size sandwich with fruit or chips and a salad that I fix myself the way I want all for the same price at 14 bucks. You cant bet that!
Last time I will ever go to this place. Employees are extremely stingy with the amount of veggies they give you. I never have the problem of small portion size with the other locations...only this one in Arlington has its employees acting like that and its been an issue for years now
Clean environment, kind staff, fresh toppings(including salad), variety of topping to choose from, and Healhy. Best place to go for a salad. This is definitely a place for me to go run home about and Is worth a vist. They wont be able to get rid of me its just a beyony good healthy meal. You could get a couple meals out of a small or a regular.🥰🥰🥰
Let me start this feedbackShift leader complaining because another two customer walked-in 5 minutes before closing and asked for a big salad. “Every time we think we leaving early this happens”Asked if they have avocado and server showed an uncut avocado and said “no” ( 👌🏽)They already had drained the all teas.(If they are made same day, you’re supposed to put them in a jar 48hrs shelf life it’s friday)Pm prep is clearly not making enough food since items where missing at night3 fingers for a small salad and fingers to palm for large salads. Please train your employees if you care about this store.2 starts for clean and well... items are cut everyday so yeah fresh...
All the other Salata locations are way better than this one in Arlington. The employees here are very stingy with the portion size and literally act like the amount of veggies they give you comes straight out of their paycheck or something. Theyre usually looking grumpy too and catch an attitude quick when you ask for something more. Go to the other locations if you want your moneys worth.
We got there half an hour before they were closing and there were at least 15 other customers eating and in line but they didn’t ask us if we wanted to eat there, they just boxed our food up. I asked multiple times for more lettuce and each time she would use her pointer and thumb and grab a leaf or two. She definitely filled the guys behind me up to the top though. I almost took a video it was just too absurd. I will not be visiting this location again.
Shout out to Daniela and Tristan working the front counter. Both are holding it down. First time here and it is dope. Its like a salad bar subway style and i like that you can add you you want to your salad from the huge selection of fruits, nuts, and berries. I am a fan and will be back again.
I ordered ahead online for my order to be made and picked up at a certain time. When I got there, they informed me that someone else took my order. No apologies at all. This made me late getting back to work. Whats the point of ordering ahead if Im still going to have to wait for it to be made while Im there? Highly disappointed. I gave 2 stars because the food is very good despite what happened.
Terrible service at this location asked for more spinach the girl grabs 2 leaves asked again can you put some more spinach grabs 1 more leaf. Then they box our salads up to go without asking at 830pm . Seriously thought I was on impractical jokers or something this location is a joke for sure. the staff is racist here also Mexican man in line behind me and she filled his bowl to the top avoid unless your Mexican lol
If youve never been to a salata before let me give you a quick description. It is similar in configuration to a Chipotle or Subway where you add toppings as you go down the assembly line. Salads and wraps are their main items. Toppings are unlimited. There is a small fee for proteins or premium toppings (e.g. avacado). This location always seems to have fresh ingredients and quick service but they are also short on space and the tables tend to fill up quickly during the lunch hour. Get their early to avoid the rush or call ahead or take it to go.
I came yesterday for the first time n fresh. Fresh fresh ..... So good being an vegitarian gets hard at fast food dine in places some time because the food is just not good but here my husband (meat eater) and myself (rabbit food eater) can enjoy lunch together I love this place 💞💞💞
The employee was so busy talking to her coworkers that she rung up my order wrong & charged me double the amount. She then didn’t know how to issue a refund, & opted to tell me that a refund would be issued in 2-3 business days back to my card but could not provide me with proof of such.
SALATA is way over priced. I have been to several locations Addison, Dallas and Coppell but now I tried thenew Arlington location. They give so much less. Large/Regular Salad you get two scoops of protein. NOT ANYMORE. ONE SCOOP. Noticeable difference. Thats the same as a small salad and I guess they went up on price too. REGULAR cost more and now for less. Salata said goodbye to a loyal customer

2022-06-19Ordered from door dash. Got a wrap and a prickly pear limeade. Most Doordash orders come all sloppy, but this one wasn’t. Perfect amount of spices in the spicy chicken and I ordered extra sauce which made it messy. That’s ok though cause it was perfect. I’m so impressed. I will order from here again and again and again. I’m a truck driver so it is so nice to have a decent healthy meal. Nicely done, Salata!

2021-06-28Whats not to like about Salata? Healthy salads, fresh ingredients, great prices and LARGE portions! I know no other place I can get a HUGE salad bowl, piled up with tons of fresh ingredients all for $9! (price of regular sized bowl). If you love salads, you have to check this place out!

2021-09-05Love that the salad is made to order. You pick whatever you want in the salad. From, lobster, to shrimp, to chicken, to avocados, to different greens, all types of fruits...the list goes on.

2021-12-30One of the most unique places I have eaten. The set up is cute and well organized. There is a wide variety of toppings to make your salad world class. I put so many things in my salad it was almost shameful, but it turned out beyond delicious. I am definitely looking forward to eating at this place again and would recommend anyone who loves healthy delicious food to do yourself a flavor and pass through. The prices are on the higher end but if you want an amazing dining experience it is certainly worth the money!😍

2021-10-27I dont think it is possible to go wrong with Salata. Somehow, when they toss your salad together, it just adds a touch of goodness. You can choose a small bowl (which is enough for me), a regular bowl, or a wrap. You then go down the line and tell then what you want on it. The Jalepeno Avocado dressing is mmm mmm good! The price is high in general and adding meat makes it a bit much. So this isnt a place I regularly go to, but having it as a treat once in a while is worth it.

2021-12-29Idk if there is a new recipe for the chipotle chicken but it’s a huge miss. Super oily and the taste is not there at all. Highly disappointed. Can’t even finish the salad.

2021-05-15Very clean restaurant. Staff was nice. Lots of options for your salad. Kinda pricey... but Im frugal. Vegan options available. I started plowing through my salad in the car... I didnt see the recipe cards I had seen in other locations.

2022-07-08Their food is good, but they always mess up my delivery order... for that reason I wont be ordering from Salata anymore.I did reach out. Someone said they were going to send me a gift card...never did. I ordered a few more times and got incorrect orders.

2017-12-18I seriously love this place! I’ve been here about 5 times now because it’s so inexpensive, the food is amazing, and the drinks are great. Even the small chocolate chip cookies are super good! There’s such a huge veggie and dressing selection plus tons of protein to choose from. There has only been two instances where I or my friend have found a bone in the chicken, if it weren’t for that I would be giving this place 5 stars.
