Very tasty food.If you are looking for upscale dining experience then Satvik wont meet your needs. But if you are looking for neat, clean and delicious Indian food then Satvik is the must go to place.Lots of variety and everything very tasty. Owners/Management super polite and treat everyone with respect.
I picked up Paneer Akhbari and it was sub par1. way too hot (way too spicy)2. way less Paneer (as if a few strands were swimming in overly intense brown gravy)Im attaching 2 pics, one is how a Panner Akhbari is supposed to look (left) and how it looks at this place (right).Second: I asked if the Gulab Jamuns are made on site or if they serve the pre-made ones from a factory. The lady at the counter said they make them every day. We tried them and they were tough on the outside, they taste exactly like the factory made ones that are sold 500 in a drum. I wish she was honest here.Overall, i had high hopes for a neighborhood joint and wanted to support this place and am disappointed that it is a huge let downupdate: the owner replied below and made a couple of points not really relevant to my review here. The pain point is NOT the price, it IS the quality. The reply below does not really address any issues raised here, just provides lip service. Also to the owner, if you are serious about your challenge that gulab jamun is made at the store, ill gladly visit if you want to prove it. Please let me know.
Legitimately the best vegetarian restaurant in Austin. Recently me and my family visited Satvik. We all enjoyed delicious food.The food is very tasty and freshly prepared. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.
I just had lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. Great pricing too. I’ve been eating Indian food for decades and loved their seasoning. Please visit this place so it will continue to thrive and so I can keep coming here. 🙂 Yum.
Tasty North Indian food! Buffet had nice mix of veggy options. Would have given 5 star if more gluten free/rice options were there. Will definitely be visiting often.

Brutally simple and absolutely stunning home cooked food. The service was fantastic too. They even walked out a freshly made batch of their potato fritters and served them at the table! That is some passion for the craft.This place was on par with our satvik dining experience back in Bengaluru, right down to the freshness and flavors of the food.
This Indian Cuisine is a must. It’s a sweet family ran business. They have a buffet which is totally awesome. You get to try it all. Wonderful flavors! You have to try it. Yum
I had been following this place via Their Facebook page since couple of months. Good thing is, they update FB page regularly with the daily updates on menu. Today, my family was looking for a real treat and we decided to visit this place to enjoy Marwadi buffet. We had Dal Bati Churma, Kadhi Gota and Churma Laddu (dessert) served as a part of Buffet menu and we liked the food a lot. I must say, they are best in business for delicious vegetarian food. We will certainly revisit this place to enjoy the food. Strongly recommend for Food lovers!

Fresh, delicious food to enjoy. I had ordered kadhai paneer, rajma and jeera paratha.Perfect blend of spice in the curry and the parathas were soft and served hot. Got couple of them packed for dinner as well and they were still super soft. Really good price for the taste.

If you are craving for good gujrathi food, this is the place to go.Ambiance can improve but taste overcomes all the negative points.Definitely will be coming back.

Food is great and served as from kitchen to serving containers continuously.. I liked it as they serve hot chapattis and desserts are great too.. Shrikhand tastes like it was meant to be perfect..
It was very authentic and ive never had better indian food in my life. make sure to go on saturdays for their buffet. the people were also very helpful and nice to the customers. definitely recommend people eating there.

Great food, laid back atmosphere. Perfect amount of dishes for a buffet. The dal and panner jalfrezi was good. Pooris and rotis were fresh and tasty.

Kathiyawadi Buffet was just out of this world. What a crowd, first thought of leaving, but decided to give a try, every dish is so amazing and authentic, ended up eating for a week ;)
Very expensive. The service is next to 0. You have to grab your own dishes and spoons. Lol the paper dishes are the ones from Costco/sams club and plastic ware.For the amount of price, need more service.The food wasnt that great either.

The food is vegetarian and very good. The buffet is about $11.00. The woman who was there is very helpful and explains what the food contains, if it is spicy or not. Great customer service and food!!!

Im so glad I found this place! Its a small family restaurant with a delicious buffet. They made us fresh naan for the buffet when we came in too, which was so yummy.
Premium prices for overcooked bland food.- a single piece of garlic naan was $3, AND it was bland and tough. I really wanted a local place to love... Unless something changes this wont be it.Disappointed.

Not worth the price!$17 for one person buffet and the food was very ok. The rotis were hard and the subzis were tasteless . I would not pay $17 with no service and paper plates and plastic spoons.The only thing that was good was Shrikand.Would not be returning for this over priced buffet.The restrooms were not well kept as well.
Satvik Is an excellent restaurant with great tasting food and friendly staff love the customer service from the owner and treats us like a family . Will keep coming to this place for sure .

Amazing food. I could see the efforts from the Khatiyawadi menu from yesterday. We tried Sev Tamata and Baigan Bharta and taste was fabulous. It took me into memory lane to a dhaba in India. Keep it up.. and looking forward to trying more meals from your restaurant.

We had buffet on Maharashtrian authentic food. and the food was simply delicious! All the dishes were authentic, freshly made and awesome- pithal, thecha, kanda bhaji, puran poli, misal paav, sabudana khichadi! Just awesome and yummie! Keep it up Satvik! I highly recommend the restaurant. SATVIK is the place to go!!

Never had paneer tikka masala curry that is so dry(literally no curry/gravy), and one that tasted more like a green pepper subji!! Wouldn’t recommend!
This is the best Indian food I had so far. They provide unlimited thali. I had Undhiyu, Shrikhand and Puri which was awesome ! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for tasty Indian Vegetarian food.

Met a group for a business lunch. Very delicious food and everyone was friendly. Its not a large venue so plan accordingly and make a reservation if you can.
If you’re looking for authentic veggie Gujarati food, then you’re in the right place! The owner is super friendly and the food is akin to eating at grandma’s. However, fried puris do not quitefit the definition of satvik if you ask me.
Really good food and service at this place. Had a lunch Buffett and variety of options served including traditional Gujarati dishes and Punjabi dishes. Various vegetarian options in Buffett and great choice of sweets. Looking forward to visiting this place again in near future.

We got jain food catered from Satvik for our housewarming. There is not a lot of places in the US that has such great jain food. We loved everything and so did our guests. Quantity and quality both amazing. We have even tried their weekend buffet and everything tastes so fresh. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I am no stranger to Indian food and must say that everything I ordered was superb. Fresh, tasty, and made with pride! The owners of this establishment are such hardworking, talented folks who know their way around a kitchen. You will take delight in sampling their food. 2021-12-13I enjoyed eating an amazing vegetarian buffet lunch at Satvik last week and I highly recommend the restaurant. The food is a great quality, freshly prepared and excellent taste. The restaurant is hygienic and super clean. If you are looking for vegetarian and/or vegan options - this is the place to go and enjoy the Indian food.

2022-07-27Whoa 😮What a lovely taste.If you’re Indian, especially if you’re Gujarati, then this is your place.Had been in US on trip for more than 1.5 months and this was one of the best place where you get feel of home made food.In today’s menu, mine favourite were Multi Grain Puri and Paneer’s Subji and Fruit Salad (Liquid).P.S. they’ve limited items but you can have unlimited refills.As far as I remember, they had starter, puri, roti, kathod subji, punjabi subji, curd, liquid sweet dish.

2022-03-24On of the best Indian food we ever tasted. Loved the freshness and flavors. Great variety and everything is unique taste. Ordered almost eight dishes and everything tasted amazing. Paneer Parathas and Malai kofta (hope I got it right) my fav. Desserts are must.

2022-06-13Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely fresh, flavorful and amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. They make fresh food every day. Absolutely the best meal we had. Highly recommend their kathiyawadi food that reminded of back home. This restaurant makes delicious Indian food in a family-style environment. All vegetarian options Order extra and take some home, as it is great as leftovers.

2022-04-05So after reading a lot of reviews I thought to give a try for their Saturday buffet, the theme was Punjabi and Maharastrian food, The dishes were overly spiced, it was a decent food not the hype that I got from some of the reviews. The gulab jamuns were bitter cold, and the guy on the counter proudly said that they serve cold gulabjamuns , I don’t think inPunjab or Maharastra region I have ever seen restaurants serving cold gulab jamuns.. better try rasugulla and that way you don’t need to justify the unjustifiable 😊TLDR; not worth the overall price for 4(~60$)

2022-02-19Food was excellent and very fresh.!! My most Favorite here was Undhiyu, Mattar Paneer, vegetable jalfrezi, Adadiya, and churma Ladoo. We throughly enjoyed. I have went couple of times before. For the price, they had tons of varieties on a Saturday Buffet including unlimited Masala Tea as a complimentary. Authentic and homely Indian Vegetarian place to eat.!!

2022-05-13I have ordered food from here for an event at my home. The process was really smooth with prompt replies and flexible options and food was made available at the promised time. The food quantity, quality and taste were really good. All my guests loved the food and inquired about the restaurant. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for vegetarian Indian food.

2022-07-19Every other Indian restaurant & buffet has the same feel with generic sauces used to prepare curries for convenience but gives a generic taste with distaste. Here everything is made from scratch for the home cooked feel, nothing microwaved or reheated. Totally worth the price for the complex Indian cooking experience. Definitely recommend for a vegetarian meal that is easy on your tummy. Commendable👌🏼
