Savers in other cities:
Used to shop here on a regular basis, however they have taken away the dressing rooms because of COVID even though the actual dressing room removal only occured within the last month or two.So now obviously, you cannot try on any clothes before you buy them.Their response to this is by updating their exchange policy. Previously their exchange policy in short allowed you to *exchange clothes and shoes (no other items) with intact tags and a valid receipt within 7 days of purchase* and has now been extended to 14 days instead of 7 days. However even though their policy does not directly state it, according to employees its a Direct Exchange only. Meaning you have to go shop, then bring up your new items with your previously purchased ones and the value of the previously purchased items is deducted from the total for your new items.Overall its a frustrating process. Not convenient or accommodating to shoppers. And not a good business practice. Especially considering the websites actual policy does doesnt state that the only option is a direct exchange. There would be no loss on their part to issue a store credit on a card. Ultimately they still keep the original revenue and it encourages people to come back and shop again to use their credit.Get it together Savers.Put the dressing rooms back in or allow people to return their items for a store credit. 😐
I went to donate some stuff because I got an email saying that I could get a 20% of coupon if I donate. The guy receiving the donations was very rude. He didnt help and when I asked for my coupon he gave a speech on how donations should be about helping the organization and not about getting a coupon. I think the prices are very high for used stuff. I found a few books and thing I was looking for but I cant forget the rude guy.
I like this store BUT lately when I buy clothes, specially kids clothes, they have a weird smell that Im having trouble getting out of some of these clothes. Its such a strange smell and they all smell like that. Some stronger than others. Please stop spraying the clothes with whatever you are spraying them with.😣
I think this store is cool as hell they have great prices for everything that no one else wanted and gave away to be resold for a profit what a smart man I would say! I honestly do like this place and its reasonable prices the store is clean and the employees are friendly and well knowledgeable about the products they sell . If you are in the area be sure to stop by this large retail garage sale !
No changing rooms available for a clothing store so I couldnt purchase the armful of clothes I wanted to try on. The offer exchanges but no refunds on returns. If it doesnt fit you have to bring it back to the store and go through all of the explanations and procedures to only go rummage again to see if theres something else that might fit... but youll have to take it home to try it on.The staff was quick to go on the defense saying, I dont make the rules ... so I know Im not the only one whos come forward to question the decision to not have changing rooms in a clothing store.
No changing rooms. You have to take the clothes home to try on and if they dont fit, you have to drive back to the store for a credit.. cant get a refund. Not good customer service to place the burden on the customer to have to drive back to the store to return clothing and only offer a credit. Ive left the store without buying an armful of clothing when I discovered what their policy it.
I love Savers. I have been to multiple locations across America. This one is not my favorite but it is still good! Clothes are organized well. BEST PART is that you get a coupon if you donate so DONATE before you shop. Tuesdays are teacher, senior, and military discount. The other days are half off a certain colored tag.
Donating was super easy. We pulled up to the donation parking spot (there are 3 - look for the green Donation Center signage all the way to the right outside) which immediately alerted an employee who opened the door right away with a rolling bin. We loaded all of our donations into the bin from our trunk, employee was pleasant, gave us a coupon for 20% off. All took about 2 minutes, and was a great first experience. Will definitely donate here again.
This savers is always my go to for thrifty everyday items I never knew I needed. The staff is super friendly and Retha is amazing! She always goes the extra mile to make sure I have the best experience!! I go here probably twice a week and every time is better than the last.
I absolutely love this store! The staff are very friendly, but the deals are amazing! Its SO clean and incredibly organized. I never leave the store empty handed and I always leave with great finds! Cant recommend this store enough. If you were like me and when someone thought thrift store, you thought Goodwill, you will be pleasantly surprised. Nothing like Goodwill (which I think is amazing).
I explained to the manager that my purse had been stolen which contained my receipt as well as my drivers license, all my credit cards etc. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of items and donated thousands of dollars worth of items over the past 20 years. I can’t believe they would lose my business over $9.99 instead of making an exception and allowing me to exchange the item which still has the tag attached that I purchased the other day in light of my purse being stolen. A manager should be empowered to be able to make an exception. Savers should be ashamed to treat customers like that. Oh well, I will donate everything to a better organization going forward!
Really like this store. Nice selection on womens and housewares. OK selection on kids, it always seems a little bare to me on toddlers and baby clothing :( which is what I am usually shopping for. I did find multiple like new purses, some nice old navy tops, and a few kid items. I always find something I love here!
I love everything about this place. Their business model aligns to my values. In the past it has been hard to trust other thrift stores because of mismanagement of funds. This place I trust. All profits go right back into the community through Easter Seals. Plus when I donate, I get a coupon for a percentage off my next shopping trip. Great place.
The first time I came here I found absolutely nothing. Ive visited a few months later, which was today and found an entire carts worth of treasures! I got a new summer wardrobe for myself (to include a new-looking silk banana republic dress), two super cute dresses and new jean for my seven-year-old, the first five Nancy Drew hard cover books and a few things for my 16-month-old all for $115! None of the clothes had stains & the books were as good as new. I visited at 10:30 AM and pretty much had the place to myself. Many of the items were a boutique quality!
Ive always had great shopping experiences here. I feel they are much more reasonable with pricing items unlike Goodwill at times, even though Goodwill is still a great thrift store. I especially love the rewards program and deals they have here at Savers. Great store and great service!
The savers is awesome, and has a good selection of miscellaneous good. Savers tend to be my preferred thrift store and this one like all others are excellent. The store is clean, well-kept, and the staff is great. There is a large clothing selection at this particular thrift as well as other miscellaneous kitchen items.
I like this place because it is fairly well organized compared to other thrift stores. Every visit is a treasure hunt and if you need clothes, youre bound to find something here. The pricing seems a bit high for used clothing items, especially for the typical fast fashion brands--but sometimes you can find a good deal.
Love this place for clothes. Great deals that arent hard to find. Dont forget to ask about the discounted color of the day and shop senior and military days. I always find something I need for a great price. Donate and also receive coupons. 5 stars on my shopping scale.
Its a great bargain store. I always find a good selection and the store is very clean. I liked all but one cashier and I dont see her there anymore. My one grip is against the customers that dont properly return their clothes from the dressing room. Its very disrespectful to expect someone to clean up after you especially if youre not tipping them.
This place is by far the absolute best place to go! Ever since I started shopping here I have ALWAYS found exactly what I was looking for. Whether it was an emergency last minute shopping trip or a planned trip on one of the days theyre having a big sale they have yet to let me down! I never leave unsatisfied!!
Has an excellent selection of stuff. People at the registers need not be so stingy and rigid, its not even your stuff so quit being robocop up there. If someone wants 20 books, give them a break on pricing and not make every book the highest price allotted. At least its moving inventory and getting things out of the store.
Store has good choices prices are semi-decent, just have to be the right type of people to visit comfortably without someone following you around. Visiting from Corpus Christi, first time we had the manager harrasing us around the store watching our every moveCareful that might break and you will have to pay for it would not stop arranging items near us, told our kids they needed an adult to be in the store. Finally after the 4th incident we had to ask her to stop harrasing us and let us shop. Its not personal; well you seem to pop up everywhere we go! Just leave us alone. She finally did but it didnt stop as we paid, we took a paper bag, she came around and told the cashier They grabbed a paper bag, dont let them leave without paying the 27 cents for the bag REALLY, we spent $80 at the store and she was protecting 27 cents!!!
What a great place to shop! Much bigger and cleaner than Burnet Rd. location. More choices. When my Mom was in a nursing home, we got her started on comfy clothes and were pleasantly surprised by how high quality the name brand clothes were. We also appreciate their but sale occasions. You cant beat 50% off an already affordable garment/accessory!
Always a good experience here. The staff is friendly. I usually go when there are half off sales so they are jammed packed. Even then they are polite. Selection is whats expected, very dependent on whats donated. Prices are fair and always way better then a retail store.
Well organized thrift store, if not a bit pricey. I spend a lot of time and money assembling costumes here. Id definitely choose over Goodwill or Salvation Army any day, though. Make sure you sign up for their loyalty card, they often run 50% off specials for card holders.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Let me explain. Me and my family went to the store in Cedar Park July 6th, 2019 after seeing a movie. We just bought a house in killeen so I wanted to see what deals I could finding decorative items. Soon as we went in the store we went straight to wall pictures and knick knacks nothing else. A store associate name Paige approached me she had a clip board in hand so I thought she was pulling me to the side to do a survey or something. But No, its worse. She says my manager said he saw you put a blouse in your purse . I said you accusing me of stealing when I havent even been near the clothing . Hell yes, I was irate at this point. So the manager comes over and says it was a case of mistaken identity cause the woman he saw had sunglasses on her head like I had. Mind you about 8 people in that store at the time had sunglasses cause it was a sunny day. I was just the only BLACK lady. But we will see how mistaken they are in court.
Well overall the store is great, but my biggest pet peeve is overpriced videogames and this store does it so well!!.All of the games are 5.99 each even the videogames that are worth .99 and all of the xbox one games are 7.99 each which in my opinion is expensive for a used video game. Some of the videogames are scratched to the point where they arent readable and im supposed to buy it for 5.99 and most of the time i cant even return it for a refund. The consoles are too expensive just tye wii console is 24.99 no plugs,no controller, nothing. Some of the games get stolen before i even get there so i suggest putting them on the glass display case and keeping them in a safe place where thiefes cant get to them
I went in today and had a cart full of clothes and other items. one of the items didnt have a tag and they told me they would not sell it to me.. this is very bad customer service.. its not like the sheet was new. would it have been really hard for someone to come from the back and give it a price. i dont think so.. i will not be shopping there anymore and telling all my friends and family they should not either.

2022-07-13This savers had a great variety of items. I enjoyed some of the t-shirts and ended up finding a pillow case I liked and bought. They had a great selection of dresses and wide variety of accessories. The childrens toys selection was full of stuffed animals, games and action figures and such. Checking out was simple and the ladies that were at the checkout where quite pleasant and welcoming. Will stop again if in area. Lots of variety here.

2022-02-09Well organized, spacious and brightly lit thrift store. I love that the clothing racks are sorted by size - it makes it so much easier to shop that way. The home goods were also well organized and displayed. Prices are clearly marked and they have good additional discounts. The employees were friendly, greeting shoppers with sales announcements and assisting at the self checkout stations.

2022-05-21UPDATE: This location has multiple bad reviews because long time shoppers mentioned they took away their dressing rooms “because of Covid” in the last couple of months this year of 2022. Also, that everything is self checkout. No wonder I had this treatment.3 of their employees are very unhappy. Perhaps, they best obtain a different job that matches their persona and capabilities. Not acceptable for a second hand/donation company. I was told by a manager to bring up the clothes I did not want so I did that a couple of times. 2 clerks made rude and passive aggressive comments each time I did as I was told. They told me I should of put the clothes back myself when I saw it off the rack and hinted I should’ve known immediately that I didn’t want them. Bringing items to the front so they can be properly restocked is normal for nearly every retail store I know, and again I was told to bring the clothes to them. Very hostile environment. I’m just trying to support their business, I wasn’t being rude and I told them both I was asked to bring the clothes to them. I am a paying customer and why would I shop at a store where I would get insulted by their employees after doing exactly what their manager told me to do.

2022-04-17This store has been degrading for the pat two years. Now, it is entirely selcheckout. An associate curtly hollered to patrons to get into a particular line for checkout. The prices are jacking up considerably. My longterm patronage holds little value with Savers.Im disappointed and saddened by how Savers has depersonalized.

2022-03-31Getting very expensive, no more changing rooms and mostly self-checkout.$15 for a dress shirt, no changing rooms to try it on and now, not even a cashier to check you out. Always been a huge fan of Savers but sad to say it is becoming harder and harder to make it worth it. The Burnet location got to $8 a t shirt then shut down, now the Lakeline location is charging so much for everything it hardly feels like your thrifting, more like youre just buying used stuff for about the same price as brand new, with no way to try it on and no customer service at checkout (this is usually a plus at savers because they can price check and also help you find deals in your account)So, if youre a fan of spending about as much as you would for a new shirt, standing in front of a mirror in the store to try on clothes and then checking your own stuff out without the option for discounts to be available on your account, Savers is for you. As for me and my family, we will have to seek out different options.

2022-07-10Came here this morning and waited outside in the hot Texas heat for over 20 minutes. They never even opened the doors. Guess this location is also shutting down like the burnet rd location. Thanks savers for wasting my time

2022-02-15Whenever I visit the Austin area I stop by Savers to see what the inventory is like. Large collections of mens and especially womens clothes. I mainly shop here for $1 VHS tapes and old technology which I can occasionally find for an very reasonable price. The locations clean and is one of the best in terms of organization. If youre looking for clothes, cheap books, movies, or trinkets this should be your first stop.

2022-01-15This used to be a hidden gem of a place. Fun to thrift at and lots of good finds. Lately, it’s been kind of empty. I understand the hiring issues many stores are facing but they are scraping the bottom of the barrel now. A new slew of employees that are rude and a manager that doesn’t care if you have a complaint against one of them and makes light of it. The former employees were always so nice and really went above and beyond in customer service. Even friends who came with me back then said the employees were so wonderful. Now it’s changed so much. Today was my last day shopping there. It’s such a let down now compared to just a few months ago.
