I have been to SeaQuest twice. Once with my children, and recently as a chaperone on a 1st grade school field trip. My kiddos enjoyed it both times. The field trip was very hands on/interactive with a guide to talk about the different animals and the kids were able to take turns feeding many of them. It’s inside Ridgmar Mall and while it’s not a huge aquarium, they really do have a good selection of sea animals plus a few land animals. I recommend it for elementary kids and younger.
Yes its inside the mall. Park by the food court go down the escalator and its right there. We came here for a school field trip. They do offer a veterans discount but since I was with the field trip I got the same price as the chaperones. Staff is nice. It didnt seem like they had been doing very many field trips so it was a little discombobulated but overall pleasant experience.
Such a fun friendly and interesting place! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The animals are so fun to feed! I might be lame but my favorite was the cute little ducks by the Great Wall of China 🇹🇼 display those little ducks are just so cute and gentle when they eat out of your hand. The rays were so cool! They would come right up and touch your hand with their heads and some would even peak over the top of the tank! One would even swim on its back to nom food off the surface of the water! Some of these animals are ridiculously entertaining!Unlike some places you actually can feed the animals here! The location is so fun we went back to the register and bought year passes! My kids loved the bounce castle 🏰 I had no idea this would be in here!
1st time and we definitely will be back. Jeany in the front is so nice and helpful and Ed in the stingray snorkeling exhibit was so informative and attentive. Really all the employees are so friendly. Bigger than we expected too. Great value! Purchased an annual pass!
I bought tickets online and I really thought this place was so much bigger than what it actually is. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Once you can get past the smells when you enter then it gets better. It is very small and I felt bad for most of the animals, it was worse than the zoo in the sense that they were in very tiny cages and enclosures. You can pay to get food and feed them, some of the animals seemed like they were starving. It was fun but really not worth the money.
We went to explore the property on a recommendation of my cousin that has swan with the stingrays … This did not disappoint, we swam with stingrays, pet the sloth, fish kisses and fed birds, basically if they offered it we did it… staff was friendly, and the only draw backs I can see if the tokens to feed fish!! We spent over 100$ for tokens (4 adults 4 kids)Swimming with the stingrays is a MUST!! It’s was s brilliant and cool experience and my 4yo tells everyone about it and the otter feeding!! Their little paw through the tube to eat, melts your heart, so cute!!Park anywhere at the mall and walk in and find itWe paidEntry: 1 senior 3 adults 3 kids 1 baby (free)5 VIP experiences4 kiss fish5 kinkajou6 Bengal cats (3 tokens ea)So many tokens, and then the gift shopThe way we did it was spendy, it was sure fun!!
Pretty cool for a mall attraction. They have a wide variety of animals and fun to see! I am a bit of a nerd so missed having info on all of the animals, not just the featured animals, but its understandable since its a lot of work to put they info out when people arent going to read it. The staff seemed caring and knowledgeable of the animals.
This place really exceeded my expectations, and was a great place for my daughters 10th birthday party! Everyone had a great time, the staff was so friendly and engaging. Our party host Brandy was phenomenal!!! She was great with the kids, and I never felt rushed through anything! Thats a big deal to me, Ive had and been to many littles birthdays, and they are always stressful! I actually got to relax and enjoy my daughters day, and we got to see some amazing and happy animals!!! The place was clean and sanitizing locations everywhere. We had a huge range of ages in our group and all said they were so glad we chose here, it was a hit!! 🤍
An excellent experience! Visited with a few friends yesterday and we had a blast! The staff was professional and fun. Jake, for example, who led us through our otter experience, is very knowledgeable. The exhibits are clean, animals seem happy and are well cared for. Lots of opportunities to interact. I’ll have to go back and visit with the bamboo sharks I made friends with… 😊 Highly recommended!
It was absolutely better than I thought it was gana be. Kids had lots of fun. We swam with stingrays fed and pet the sloths and fed otters. We did lots more too. The staff was amazing especially the manager who help my daughter with a personal issue. Are experience was awsome but she made it even better. I wish I could remember her name 😔 but I will forsure bring the family again🥰🥰
My husband and I really enjoyed our visit. It is hidden in the Ridgmar Mall. My husband went swimming with the stingrays, Libby was our instructor and she was great. Also got to feed iguana, sloth, fishes, turtles and birds. Staff is super friendly and take really good care of all their creatures.
It was an absolute awesome first experience! We did the sloth interaction which we bought ahead on Groupon and loved it! How sweet! And there are lil machines that your tokens, purchase at entrance or by a machine in the middle, can get you the animals food with throughout the aquarium! The tortoises were fiesty and the Bengal kitties were precious! We also did the spa where they had smaller individual tanks with lil red gar that nibble away at your feets! and are beneficial to individuals with psoriasis 🙏🙏 Eddie was very informative at that station! All the staff were friendly and informative! Thank yall!
So fun! SeaQuest is so much more than just an aquarium! It has a variety of fish as well as many cool animals. I was very impressed with the different experiences and opportunities to feed and interact with the animals. I was able to pet the Bengal Cats, feed the Otters (they are so adorable), pet a Sloth, touch the Stingrays, feed and touch the Tortoises, interact with the large rodent (Capybara?), and much more! The place is very clean, the staff was awesome and very informative, etc. I met Jake and Bruce, and was greeted by several other staff members. I will go back! And I am an adult but am thinking of having my next birthday party here :-)
The animal interaction with the animals was pretty cool. Some of the tanks were pretty filthy, you could see buildup on the filters and the glass. Others fish tanks looked great. The Koi fish looked like there were about to jump out of their tank for snacks. I belive the best part was feeding and petting the stingrays. Overall good experience, I did like the movement of the people in there. They would feed and move on to the next exhibit.
Great place with great personalities inside. The workers all genuinely care to provide a great experience for both adults and kids. Ours kids swam in the tank and Josh was a great tutor and very knowledgeable educating the kids about all the sea life including the dos and donts. Our 4 month old even enjoyed all the sights and sounds. We will definitely be back!
We had the best time at SeaQuest! The Animal Whisperers were all extremely helpful and friendly! Josh took us on the Animal Whisperer tour. He was extremely knowledgeable. We all enjoyed the stingrays and slouths. All of the exhibits were great! We cant wait to go back!
So much more fun than I expected! Youre able to feed several animals along the way. We got lucky and were gifted several tokens for food by others who were leaving. There were even a few animals were you were able to go into the enclosure to feed them. Kids (7&9) had a great time! The mall itself had very few stores/restaurants which are actually open.
Excellent experience. Was surprised to have more animals aside from sea life. They also had addional perks of buying tokens and use as you wish to feed and/or interact with animals. Some animal interactions vary on the day, be warned. The only downside of this place is the location. Its located in a dying mall and makes it look like its closed. I wish and hope they can relocate to a more populated and popular area to do even better.
This aquarium is so cute! My SO and I learned so much about all the animals there and got to see fish that arent usually highlighted in aquariums. Its so interactive too! Being able to feed and pet animals is so fun and unique especially for a place as casual and affordable as this. We cant wait to come back!
This is the most interactive aquarium Ive ever seen. Touch and feed dozens of different animal species. They even have a capybara! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I could tell everyone who worked there wanted to make my childrens experience the best it could be. Be prepared to get a little wet, schedule ahead of time to snorkel with the stingrays!
Pros: Staff is friendly, surprisingly good amount of animals and exhibits for being inside of a mall, gift shop looked nice and lots of hand washing stations.Cons: It was hot in there and the air was still. It felt better in the 90+ Texas heat with the small breeze. The floors were wet in a lot of spots and just smelled pretty awful. It smelled the worst in that little aquarium spot kids can walk inside of. No hand sanitizer in ANY of the multiple dispensers around but the hand washing stations made up for it. Lastly, there were little baby roaches. There were big roaches in the mall restrooms. Conclusion: Its worth it to check out once if you just want something to do. Youll have to pay an extra 20 bucks each if you want to play with the sloth, otter and other special animal time. We dont think its worth it to buy a lot of tokens. We only used about 4 or 5 out of the 16 we had.
It was fun, great for families or couples. We bought the cheapest pack of food tokens-14 pieces and we still ended up taking a good amount home just because it was a little crowded (so more difficult to feed), not all animals were out and about so you cant feed them, or there wasnt food pellets for each animal/area. We mostly fed the fish-tons of Koi so that was fun. And we did get to feed some stingrays which was absolutely hilarious as well! My oldest was able to pet a giant tortoise too so all that made it completely worth it but it would be easier to go when its not as crowded that way its easier to go slower and really enjoy the aquarium (especially if you have littles). I think I will try a different location next time because the mall this one is located in is basically closing down. Most stores are closed, no food court, so that makes the aquarium the main attraction there and it got CRAZY busy once we left.
First time being here and what a great interactive place for adults and kids. We were on a quest to see sloths and found this place. We got to touch and feed two sloths, and see otters and hold a Kinkajou, named Honey. If you are like me and love animals, this will be your happy place. Come check them out.
My family and I have been here several times. We have always had a pleasant experience. Today the staff went above and beyond. We did a VIP package that cost roughly $250. It was worth every penny. You have a new employee named Sasha who was very friendly and helpful. I noticed that she went out of her way to interact with a lot of other customers. The young man who did the one on one with us and the animals was amazing. I believe his name was Jacob. The ladies in the front shop were very friendly and made sure we had a great experience. You have a really enjoyable business. Your staff makes it great. We will continue to come with our family. As well as school trips and when we have friends who come in from out of town.
If i could give 2 1/2 stars I would. When we arrived it was pretty busy, the lady checking us in assumed we know what to do. It was pretty hectic in that most the workers were doing camp groups so there wasnt many at the animal stations so you could actually go in. I dont feel this is worth the price. You pay to get in and the have to buy tokens to actually feed the animals. That should be included. Adding a fee pictures.
I booked admission and sloth interaction for 4... myself and my 3 kids. My twins love sloths and I thought it would be awesome for them to feed one up close for their 8th birthday. Boy was I disappointed...1. The location of sea quest is in an almost empty mall.2. When checking in, they didnt have my reservation down for our sloth interaction.3. Bought feed tokens... feed that comes out of vending machines is minimal or non existent.4. Facility where animals was seemed like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. Aquarium tanks were dingy.. It took us 10 minutes to go through the entire animal area. Noticed a lot of vacant pens/cages.5. ...At our 2pm appointed sloth time, we sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to show us the sloths. Then we were informed that dash and flash were asleep and couldnt be disturbed, but we could peek at them in their hanging baskets. I at least got a refund for the 43 dollars worth of feed tokens I had purchased. Will not return and will tell everyone its a ripoff. Go to the Dallas World Aquarium, which is 10000 times better!.
Came with my kids on a field trip and absolutely loved it! Such a great environment for little learners and old ones too lol. Our experience would not have been the same without our tour guide Jacklyn who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. We will be coming back for family time!
It’s despicable that you would display a house cat (bengal) as an attraction. As any other animal who has adapted to become a pet, it thrives on human love and interaction. Furthermore it is a very intelligent breed that needs constant stimulation and can’t be thrown in a cage without toys or play mates. Just because it’s bred to LOOK wild it doesn’t mean it is a wild animal. If he’s tame enough to be pet, he deserves to be in a home where people can love him.
Went to SeaQuest to snorkel with stingrays and had the most amazing time! Josh was so great and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. He had so many fun facts about the stingrays and the fish. He made the experience so much fun! Definitely recommend Josh and SeaQuest.
My friend and I spent most of the afternoon here yesterday, and it was a fun time with very few people around except staff. We had a great time with the Asian Otter Experience, and one of the caretakers - Josh - offered to let us follow him during his feeding rounds and for a couple tokens each time, help feed the various fish while giving excellent informative discussions about the fish. My friend had a look of delight throughout the experience and it was a great day!
I really wanted to like this place. We took our 11 month old son to his first aquarium. I didnt realize it was inside of Ridgmar Mall, which has been declining in recent years. Knowing this and what I know about animals, I knew there wasnt a way to have an adequate facility. Sure enough, a lot of the tanks or enclosures were overcrowded with animals and not just that, but were in very small tanks for the type of animal. Many of the tanks and enclosures were very dirty and had a foul odor. Yes, they are animals, but this is also indicative of not properly caring for the facility the animal lives in. A lot of animals were out of water and seemed excessively hungry. There is very poor ventilation, but then again this is an aquarium in a mall which isnt designed for this. Most of the employees didnt seem to enjoy it or had an attitude. They also didnt act like they knew what they were doing. An aquarium isnt just a retail job. Its a job that someone needs to know about the animals. Although It was nice to be able to interact with some of the animals, the few positives I had were outweighed by the negatives and the sadness I felt for the animals living in this environment. Aquariums are great for education, but this definitely was far from it. This is a money making operation and needs to be shut down.
This pay for everything aquarium is in a barely surviving mall. Must buy tokens to enjoy any wildlife and the mall its in did NOT survive COVID. Would have appreciated not having to spend an additional 40 bucks on wildlife interaction if I knew itd be such a run down experience.
I had an encounter scheduled for 12:15 and the worker finally showed up after 12:30 because the front desk worker didnt let her know we were there. The encounter was supposed to be me and my 3 children. I ended up having to share our encounter time with 3 other people and it took away from my childrens Time, which I dont think is fair. The rest of the place was really cool though! No complaints there! Just the complete cluster *u*k....for something I paid EXTRA for.
After hearing about the incidents happening here with the animals, I no longer want to take my family again. Its not worth it. My daughter had a nice birthday party here but we didnt like how they were rushing us because there was another party at 2:30 and hers was at 12:30 and we paid for 2 hours but ended up leaving before 2 hours because they were rushing us every 10-15 min when it was 1pm like saying are yall ready to clean up and have the party animal come? and made it very uncomfortable. We told them people are still not finished with lunch. Just very unprofessional.
Overpriced to pay for experiences if your kids arent actually going to be into it. If your kids are into it, getting up close with the animals is really cool. Or you can just buy some food for much cheaper than the experiences and feed most of the animals. Small place, but what they do have is very cool. Great staff.
Took my kids and had the most amazing experience ever, literally we swam with the sting rays spent timeWith all the animals and couldn’t hold back our laughter the whole time. The staff is adorable and they make you feel so welcomed, the thing that did it for me is love they genuinely have for the animals. Josh was our swim instructor and he was so wonderful and made us have so much fun even though we were scared he and his crew made us feel safe and comfortable!! Will do again a million times again!! Thank you Ethan, Josh and the whole team for making our weekend a blast and one to remember for ever
Horrible waste of money and definitely false advertising the smell was so overwhelming it made you nauseous, no air circulation and was very hot and stuffy. The animals along with aquariums life were so small for them and very unclean!! Felt horrible for them to have to live like that. Dont waste your money!!
We really like going here. Its a really good family time. I do feel like its overpriced for entry and to feed the animals but it is a fun place, especially if you go right when they open because in the animals havent been overfed all day and youre more likely to see them and be active.
This is a really cool place to stop and check out. Danny, at the front desk, was very helpful and very informative. Tammy, the events coordinator, really was great with the information she gave to the kids. You could see all the staff was really enthusiastic about their jobs at this place. For being in a mall, you would not expect it to be as big as it was. The kids loved it. And so did the adults. There are a lot of things you can do. You can feed otters, swim with stingrays, and other animal encounters. They do charge for these encounters separate from the entrance fee. You can still see everything and do not need to do the encounters. If you are looking for a place to see and interact, this is definitely a place to check out. They have locations other than just Texas - check their website to see if a location is close to you.
Great place to go and spend a few hours. They have a wide variety of fish and other animals to see. You can also pet the stingray and they have all sorts of extra experiences you can purchase like going swimming with the stingrays and such. We had a lot of fun and will probably go again soon.
Took my little one and she had a great time in my opinion Adults and Children will have so much fun this aquarium holds up the name when it says Interactive we were able Interact with the animals. I do suggest that you take extra money because you will use it rather it be from buying tokens to feed the animals or in the gift shop. We did a feeding tour with Josh and it was so much fun he is so patient with the kids and makes sure everyone gets a turn to feed the animals. and Sarah and sasha are so nice and gentle with talking to he kids and showing them how to properly handle the animals the entire team are awesome very patient with the kids give great clear instructions. I took my daughter about 5 years ago and then we just came back we went for an hour didnt come out till 3 hours later it was worth it in my opinion my kid had a blast.
Its a very small space in an abandoned mall. They are a bit short staffed right now due to Covid so some of the most desired attractions are unavailable. But it was enjoyable for the small kids and you get to feed the animals if you buy tokens. My favorite part was the sting rays!!!
Very long lines were observed from the get-go. Upon arriving here prepare to stand in line for a good bit of the whole Aquarium. The aquarium also had a very noticeable smell throughout the whole Aquarium. In short the smell was not only pleasant but crude at the same time. You pick up Traces of citrus from cleaning, but you also pick up traces of the lack of cleaning. Mixing in for a very unpleasant smell throughout the entire Aquarium. This particular Aquarium really sports the idea of being an interactive aquarium and in truth it is. However the downside to this is the effect it has on the tanks and exhibits. Tanks show heavy evidence of a lack of cleaning. Furthermore some of the animals on exhibit have become reliant on public feeding and human interaction. Do not expect to see animals behave in a natural environment with this particular Aquarium. This aquarium is great for smaller children but in terms of knowledge and exploration the quality is very low here. Not many staff members present either. Two staff members of observed at the door but no other staff members observed through the entire Aquarium in the time I was there. Furthermore aquarium was unsurprisingly very small. To see this whole Aquarium could probably take you a maximum of 20 minutes. Oddly enough aquarium was also located inside of a vacant outlet mall with no independent storefront of its own. No food bar or deli here either so make sure you eat before you go. Hallways and exhibits tend to be extremely crowded as the aquarium is extremely small. Gift shop upon leaving was very mediocre. Not really much merchandise to choose from. Not really anything out of the ordinary either. T-shirt selection was extremely poor as well as plush selection and souvenirs. The aquarium tends to rely heavier on toys to draw in funds and purchase sales. Most of the animals seem happy enough. However many of the exhibits again were very dirty. In my photos you can observe the tank mildew and algae growth. Heavy handprints and glass residue. Trash on the floors as well as old food around the coin feeders. A fun aquarium nonetheless and some pretty cool things to see. Just not an aquarium that I would go out of my way to come back and visit.
Sea quest is a fun little place to go and not only see but interact with all the animals they have there. My family and I went for the first time together and had a good time. Its a short but decent experience to go through. The gift shop was nice to, they had fun little souvenirs and other stuff to pick from. But overall it was nice and i had a good time along with my family. {Here are some pictures my mother took}
Very cool experience for children. Many of the Staff seemed ready to go home at 2pm and it showed very much,, that was disappointing. Had interactions booked up with only one person in them. As well as being told that they dont do shows past 5 since they close at 6pm.My best advice for this type of stuff is better management and handling of business. When your workers are not happy it gets pushed onto customers.
It was nice, I didnt get to see any otters. But I did enjoy the stingray exhibit. A little small, the one in grapevine mills mall, if its the same place is a lot bigger. But overall, Id recommend this place. Lots of hand washing stations throughout so that is good. Friendly staff too.
My daughter, friend, and I went for my birthday today and we had a great time!!! Sami at the parakeet and Bengal cat exhibit was so nice she made sure my daughter had a great time while being in a new situation. The stingrays were my favorite part and next time I am definitely doing the snorkeling thing. I definitely recommend Sea Quest for a great adventure for all ages.
Super cute place. My kids really liked it. Also, it was not very crowded, we did go right when they opened though. My daughter was a little bummed because there was no mermaid. Maybe she come out later? Or weekends only? Either way, it was a great place to spend some time and see all the cute animals
I have been wanting to go here for years. I love in Wisconsin, and my fiancé and I got stuck in Texas due to our flight home from Vegas being canceled from bad weather. My fiancé surprised me with tickets to the otter interaction before our new flight out because we are already here in Texas. It was amazing! The whole exhibit is so neat, but I was really there for the otters! The staff was so nice and if we ever make our way back down to Texas, we will definitely come back!
I’m honestly surprised by all of the great reviews on this aquarium. My husband and I went when it first opened and it was a great experience. This weekend we went with my in-laws and took all the kids and it was terrible. I honestly couldn’t believe it place was still open. There was no attendants for any of the animal enclosures, and it was a guessing game of which enclosures you could go into. There were no posted signs saying Do Not Enter. You have to buy tokens if you want to feed any of the animals, but all of the fish tanks are to high to reach so children have to be lifted up to feed them. The place was dirty and some of the animals kept escaping since there were no attendants to watch the areas. The whole thing took us maybe 30 mins to walk and we were so extremely disappointed.Save your time and money and just go to the Dallas Aquarium.
Apprehensively I decided to come here with my wife. We have two kids. Didn’t check the reviews first which would have helped greatly nevertheless Isiah was the man for the job. Really chill no sweat attitude of his allowed for an even better experience with the wife and kiddos. We’ll be coming back for sure.
I’m not sure if we went when it was understaffed but there was barely any workers to let us do the activities or to inform everyone of the animals. For example, there was no one around to tell us how or even if we could pet the stingrays or other animals. Also a lot of the stingrays in the pool had scratches or skin missing but they were still able to be pet.shouldn’t sick/hurt animals be quarantined or moved to a place to heal? I’m also not sure if they were in the middle of cleaning or what but the otters had about a 4ft round pool with a few inches of muddy water in it. One otter was running in circles acting bored and acted like he wanted in the water but knew better. Shouldn’t their pool be bigger and cleaner? Also the stingray tunnel was leaking and smelled very sour. I was very excited to go but was too sad to enjoy the animals after paying $40.
I took my granddaughters here expecting something exciting. Unfortunately we got the total opposite experience. The tanks were filthy very hard to see anything! It took us less than 30 minutes to walk through the place twice!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone!! I felt like it was a total waste of my hard earned money!!
We visited for the first time last week. It’s definitely a cool and unique place! We loved the different animals there are to see (so much more than just fish). You can purchase tokens so that the kids can feed the animals. Most of the exhibits are open and an attendant can bring you inside if you want to see the animals up close. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the cleanliness. I would recommend to check it out!
We had my grandsons birthday party at Seaquest. He and our invited guests had a great time. I loved the experience as it wasnt a typical party. The children were able to interact with animals and over half of our guests didnt want to leave. My only complaints are 1) our party was scheduled to start at 11:00, we couldnt access the room until 15 min before our party to set up. This makes it extremely difficult because Seaquest is located inside the mall and we had to make several trips to get everything inside, ( balloons, cakes, drinks etc). 2) when I needed my hostess I had to go find her a few times, I think they may have been under staffed that day. 3) since we started later than expected we had to rush through our party as there was another party scheduled an hour and a half after our party. Our guests did not have much time to enjoy the party, and we felt rushed. We werent even able to enjoy and truly interact with the selected animal that was a feature of the top teared package we purchased. Honestly, for the amount of money was spent for the party I am not sure if it was worth it.
Great family event and thank you so much for welcoming HopeKids families in early on a Saturday. This was our first visit and we all loved it. Employees were friendly and helpful they graciously invited us to experience up close with the animals. We fed the parakeets but our favorite by far is the stingrays!!!The stingrays have so much personality and the underside of them looks like smiling faces. We walked around about 3 times. Thank you for a great morning.
I didnt know this place existed but Im so happy to have found it! Felicia helped us out with the exhibits and answered all our questions. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Most the exhibits are interactive so you can pet them if you wish which is so much fun! The stingrays were my favorite(so soft and cute!), and the sloth interaction was so cool we got to pet and feed her she was such a sweetie!!
We totally didn’t expect much with this place being in a mall, but from the moment we walked in we were blown away. We used to have Sea World Passes and we were just as entertained here as we were there. The team members are so kind and knowledgeable (especially Taylor and Jessica). There are so many cool animals and the stingrays exhibit is AWESOME!! You get to feed a capybara, turtles, chickens, fish, reptiles, stingrays and we even got to pet an adorable sloth. You will not be disappointed in this place.
I took my girls to visit recently and we had a very enjoyable time. It was smaller than I expected, but that did not stop us from relaxing, enjoying the atmosphere and taking in the beautiful creatures. We had several opportunities for hands on with the animals even though some enclosures where closed due to COVID 19. We left in the middle of the day to grab lunch and returned for more fun the same day for a full day of animal entertainment! I highly recommend taking time to enjoy this little treasure.
Loved this place ! This was a great experience for my kids they had so much fun we did the interaction with the sloth , played with the bengal cats , watched the otter who had a wonderful personality and our favorite was the sharks and sting rays and how cool it was we got to feed all the animals ! Will def go back for sure . I will say the only crazy thing is they are located inside the mall you have to go through the mall to get to them and there isn’t a sign anywhere letting you know this !
This place was disgusting. We had a birthday party there and it was infested with cockroaches running around as well as a bunch squished in the carpet. And this was the area where the food, bounce house and party area was. When I complained I was told that they spray for them. But the amount of roaches was overwhelming. Dont do it yall. If I could have given 0 stars I would have.
Jacquline helped my little one with feeding the stingrays! She also gave me great advice on using the tickets I purchased today to upgrade them to annual tickets along with all of the benefits of having an annual pass. My daughter is so excited to come back now! Jacquline was friendly, knowledgable, and very charismatic about all of the animals. Thank you Jacquline for making this experience more interactive!
I booked a party here for my daughters birthday last month and let me tell you my experience was absolutely horrible! The place was disgusting and so was the party room. We moved a high chair and about roaches ran out from every where! Their excuse was because they animals there and food for the animals it causes roaches! So why charge someone $299? Also the available animals they had available to pet were two turtles and a snake! The sting ray tank was disgusting and the kids took one look and said NO! I honestly feel like I should have received a full to 90% refund for the embarrassment I endured. Please do not book your party here! My guest left checking their bags, coats and shoes. Tell you about embarrassing!! Go some place else.. how they received all these positive reviews is beyond me!
This place is not good for the poor sea animals and other animals there. Place is crowded and u supervised. The Sting rays are constantly being touched, slapped, and bothered by all the kids since there’s seriously nobody watching the tanks. I saw no employees there at all except for the entrance. I paid for 3 tickets at $16.99 but is not about the money. I really think someone should come in to the place and make sure the animals here are safe. One of the sting rays was trying to get out desperately maybe was not feeling safe . Also, the water in all the tanks was really nasty and stinky due to all the kids putting their little hands dirty the animals are really suffering here.
I would rate 0 stars if I could. I am not an activist by any means, but that doesnt mean Im oblivious to shameful animal living conditions. This place made Petco look like Monterey Bay Aquarium. I took my kids to SeaQuest Fort Worth today and even my teenager couldnt stand to be in there any longer than necessary (which is only about 10 min to walk through) after spending $48 for 1 adult and 2 kids is downright robbery. Some of the amphibious animals couldnt even turn around in their own enclosures it was so small... and the land animals stared off blankly at the wall or nothingness probably from insanity of their insanely small living quarters. Roaches all on the ground, the stench.... omg the stench actually made your eyes water and sick to your stomach, I didnt expect it to smell like roses inside, but Id rather have dinner in a Porta-Potty in the Texas sun after a Country Music Festival than ever step foot back in this Aquarium. Not only did my child use their own money for 6 tokens ($12!!) But when I asked for a refund on those because we just wanted to be far far away from there, I was told we couldnt because the tokens didnt expire and could be used next time which I promptly let them know there would never be a next time. We said ok. We will hold a bird I guess... which had dozens of birds in a tiny cage... we waited in this area only to be told Sorry the ground is wet, youll have to come back another time... do you want to see a cat instead? (The ground had a 3inch x 5 inch water spot) I turn around to see the cat enclosure, and one of the HOUSE cats had climbed about 6ft up the caged door... my teen and I locked eyes and he said uh no thanks.... we handed 3 tokens to a family near by, and 3 to another and LEFT. Please let those animals be surrendered to a sanctuary to be cared for, theyd be better off put out of their misery than continue the life they have now. Not to mention you have to walk through a shopping mall that gives a vibe that youve missed the Rapture, and Hell is actually renamed SeaQuest Forth Worth. Shut this place down!!
We have passes and have enjoyed our visits. There are plenty of animals to see and touch. Even some you wouldnt expect, like pigs, chickens and rabbits! It is a lot bigger than it seems. My kids love the sharks, the gators (we saw them feed them!) the touch tank, and the gift shop. 😂 My only complaint...I wish the tokens to buy animal food werent so pricey.
Literally wish I could give no stars but I have to put this out here for future customers . I’ve been to sea quest multiple time but yesterday was a disaster. 5 minutes in and my son had to be rushed to the er . An iguana latched on to his upper arm , and yes we made sure Abel did not agitate the animal . Ended up with 6 stitches and heard nothing from sea quest . Please be careful check my Facebook for pictures
This place is absolutely horrible. The enclosures are filthy, tiny, and uninhabitable. I felt so awful for 100% of these animals it’s absolutely cruel. It’s a glorified pet shop, the animals in the back of a Petco have it better than this place. I am in no way what you would consider a tree huger or animal rights activists but wrong is wrong and that place is shameful.
A short trip to sea quest in Fort Worth ended in disaster when our lil dude was bitten by a iguana. don’t bring your children here. The staff is very irresponsible as-well. No staff was watching this exhibit, We were handed a bandaid for a major arm laceration that required stitches. They’re is no actual medical staff on deck.
Amazing time for the whole family, my 6month old was amazing by the colors and atmosphere, my 4yr old loved the interactive exhibits, and me and my lady had a great time with the sting rays at the end, they’re very friendly both the animals and the staff.. thank you guys for a memorable time and we’ll def be back
Had a great time visiting here with my family. We especially wanted to give an amazing first time experience for our one and half year baby as our other kids and we haven been to the one at Austin and San Antonio. He really enjoyed watching all the species, feeding stingrays, parakeets and cockatiels!
I purchased tickets for the otter “interaction” for a friend who is obsessed with otters. Based on the description on the website it was portrayed as an actual interaction with the otters. After looking more closely to the picture on the website I realized the girl was feeding the otter through a tunnel in plexi-glass. I thought “surely they don’t consider that an interaction”. After reading other reviews I decided to call their “customer service” and confirmed the only interaction you get is through a tunnel in plexiglass. I requested a refund on the grounds that their website description is inaccurate as nowhere on the webpage does it specify the “interaction” is just a tunnel in plexiglass (all other interactions in Texas are in-person with the animals). The guy I spoke to told me that it is specified in the terms I agreed to. I told him the plexiglass is not specified anywhere on their website. Then he explained the “refusal of refunds” was in the terms. I explained that I understood however based on the inaccurate description of the actual experience I feel like a refund could be honored. I’d even accept partial refund. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy took my information. And guess what? It’s been a week with no call back. At point they can consider my $54.00 a donation towards the deplorable conditions I read about on these reviews. This feels like a SCAM.
This place is gross. It stinks. Its dirty. There were a lot of empty enclosures. We went for a kids birthday and the party room was cramped and dingy and sad. The exhibits had few attendants and some of the interactive exhibits were completely unattended. There were a few areas that were pretty well done, but most of the place was just yucky. Lots of leaks, including the aquarium in the party room. There doesnt seem to be enough restroomsThe staff we did encounter was really friendly, but they were too few.If you cant make it to Dallas World Aquarium, this might be an okay replacement. But dont expect it to look like the photos.
My first time at an interactive aquarium and at first I wasnt super impressed. But then, we got to the tank full of rays. And thats when the whole game changed! I honestly hadnt realized going in that it was going to be SO interactive! Id been to places like sea world where any interaction happens under strict observation. They certainly had staff in the area but they werent right on top of you. Theres even a tv playing video instructions for exactly how to feed the raysm Definitely plan to get tokens! I didnt realize how cool it was so I didnt prepurchase any. And didnt but may when we checked in because I wanted to check it out first and see what was up. Im glad I waited til we got to the concession stand! In the gift shop machine the tokens wen3 for $10, at the concession stand near the rays they were 6 for $10. I only bought 6 tokens for me and the kids but next time Im going to get way more. The rays are so friendly!! Coolest experience ever and totally worth it even if thats the only part you end up liking about it. It definitely has a smell, likely from all the dried krill that gets dropped in the puddles from keeping everything clean. But fair warning if youre pregnant or otherwise extremely sensitive to smell you may not have as good a time. This is the perfect bad weather but want to go do something entertaining with kids that doesnt cost a fortune place. Also, we used our pogo passes so our admission was covered. If you live in the DFW area I highly recommend it, a years worth of activities for $50/person ($40 if you groupon) and Seaquest is just one of the many places included. Bottom line its an awesome experience!
We were kind of iffy on visiting, but we are trying a few aquariums out to find one that we would enjoy visiting often. But in a mall? We really enjoyed being able to interact with so many animals! It was a much better experience that just walking by exhibits. We bought the family pass and will be going again! The admission prices are really good, and with the passes you can bring friends for 1/2 price!
Just made a visit to this place let me just say its pretty sad how bad the animals look. All the animals look real bad and sad. Very neglected. The staff was very unfriendly and not very informing I asked multiple questions and would get 1 word responses I was very unhappy. The entrance few of 19.99 was absolutely ridiculous
Shameful animal living conditions, gross smells and infested with roaches. They have social animals such as the bengal cat and capybara on their own. They should provide these animals with better living conditions or give them to an animal sanctuary who actually cared about them.
We had a really good time here!!! They have tons of feeding opportunities! My favorites were petting the Bengals, petting the Capybara, and feeding the Silkies! Make sure you stock up on tokens because you can always come back and use the leftover ones on other trips! This is also the least expensive aquarium in DFW and I thought it was worth it. Its inside the Hulen mall on the bottom floor in the middle of the mall. They also have a sloth, whose name is Flash (Zootopia) and hes such a cutie! I also adore the sweet Toucan in the front too! I wish we could pet him and feed him too!
Lots of interesting animals, and the animals were friendly. The smell was a little overwhelming. There were multiple childcare field trips there, so it was crowded and hard to see the animals. They have options for interacting and/or feeding the animals, but those options cost extra.
This place was amazing! We had Pogopass and it was recently added so admission was free. We bought 4 tokens to feed the animals and the front desk was super helpful about the best places to use them. You can touch many of the animals as you walk through. This was the best part for my 4 and 8 year old boys. They touched lizards, snakes, turtles, fish, sting rays, etc. This is not a huge aquarium but if you take your time and learn about the animals or do an extra up close and personal experience it can take a couple of hours. My kids are always on the go so we spent a little over an hour here and we were fine with that. The hands on experience is what really makes Seaquest special. Well definitely be back.
My husband and I went here, not really expecting much or knowing much about it. Its in a mall so we thought how much of an aquarium can it be? But we enjoyed it more than we thought we would. I sorta liked the variety of animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and being able to pet the sting rays. Its definately more kid oriented but we stil enjoyed ourselves none the less.
SeaQuest was a fun date night spot for two adults. We spent about an hour there total and bought 4 tokens to partake in feeding the stingrays and a pig. The employees were very kind and informative. They seemed to enjoy their job and made the experience that more engaging.
We had so much fun at Sea Quest. The kids liked it better than our trip to the zoo. they loved being able to interact with the animals. The stingrays and the otter were their favorites and seeing the Capabara was a highlight! We will be back!. I recommend getting lots of feeding tokens. Koi fish kisses were a hit!
I was pleasantly surprised and how cool this place was when we brought my sons here. While I definitely though eh its in a mall, it wont be that great I was super wrong. Its hands on in so many areas, there are so many cool animals to see and my kids (and husband lol) were highly entertained. We will definitely go back!
People told me not to go because it was so short and they flew through the whole place in 30 minutes or an hour.I went anyway. We did the tour, Stingray Stacie was amazing! I bought 30 tokens (the tour was 8) for myself, my 4 and 6 year old sons and my sister. We fed everything we could and fed the stingrays and birds multiple times! They jumped into the hurricane simulator ($2 extra), made souvenirs on the crayon table (free) and smashed the penny (.51 should have taken 1.02) Then had enough to buy a small souvenir for each of us at the gift shop with the remaining tokens. We were there about 3 hours, possibly longer but we went back to the birds and I had to pull my kids away from the stingrays.I would say it is definitely worth it if yall like to interact with the animals. My kids touched every animal that they were allowed to.
While it is a small aquarium, my son loved how interactive it is. We had been watching River Monsters and he thought it was so cool that many of the fish featured in the show are at SeaQuest. The otters werent out the day that we were there, but well definitely be returning.
The mall the aquarium is located in is dead, and I didn’t have high expectations. However, it’s moderately priced, has a decent number of exhibits, and has many hands on experiences, as well as opportunities to interact with/feed the animals. My 5 year old had a blast, and we went again the next weekend.
Katie & Kasey our guides and Bruce the manager were amazing! The VIP experience is definitely worth the money! My family and I loved the interaction with all the different fish and animals. Our favorite was the stingrays and the parakeet feeding. It’s perfect for date night or being the whole family like we did. If you go on a weekday it’s not crowded at all and can fully enjoy the entire aquarium.
We just had our kiddo’s birthday party and it was awesome! The staff was definitely overwhelmed with a New Year’s Eve rush, but they made sure that we were well taken care of. The cherry on top was how well Katie helped calm down my daughter after the snake that they brought in pee’d on her! 🤣 I highly recommend this as a birthday party destination.
Absolute delight for kids and for adults. One of best interactive place to take your 5/6 year old. The staff is friendly too and patient with children. They do their best to explain the habitats. It’s a good size facility and you can easily spend 2 hours on a cold day or hot summer. Hidden gem of Dallas.
First time here and enjoyed it a lot. All the animals where so fascinating to see. My kids had lots of fun. Taylor was so nice and had great customer service. She helped us get the tickets we needed and helped us pick what exhibits to see that we would like. She was very friendly and when we left she wanted to know about our experiences. When we are in Texas again we will definitely come back. Thanks for the joyful day SeaQuest.
What a wonderful day at Sea Quest for my grandkids. Everyone was helpful but there were two young ladies, Dottie and Libby who went out of their way to make this such a fun experience. I appreciate them and all who work here to make this a fun learning lesson for kids. We’ll be back.
2 adults and a 2 year old. Spent 100 bucks for admission and coins. Well worth it. The child enjoyed so much hands on experiences, we loved the big stingrays pool and all the animal and fish feeding areas.Tip: the coin operated food dispenser works better if you shake it a bit before spinning the token. Especially for the fish food which is oddly shaped krill.
Little man and my teenager loved it! You can buy tokens to use to purchase live and dry food at various stations to feed the fish, the sharks and the rays. You can touch and let them. You can enter the aviary and the iguana area and touch them as well! Very affordable with even pigs, rabbits, spiders, snakes and reptiles although the rays, fish, sharks etc make up most of the attractions. Live shows and feedings too, very educational!
Had a wonderful time at Seaquest. Libby and Belle helped a ton with checking in and getting our tokens and experiences scheduled.Bruce was wonderful in teaching us about the capybara and Kaitlyn was so sweet when we fed the Asian otters. The staff was super sweet and the whole experience was amazing!
Excellent place! Brought our family of seven here today and every child was highly engaged with the animals ranging from 18 month to 13 years. Our favorites were the bengal cats and the parakeet aviary area. Although the stingrays feeding frenzy also made quite an impression! Happy to visit here!
My family had a unique fun adventure to remember. You have the best courteous employees and a clean, safe environment. In order to enjoy and connect with the animals there and feel the children happiness, phones must be put away and live in the moment. Touching the fish is satisfying and slimy.
This experience and the staff completely blew me away, Katie, Chelsea, Taylor, Bruce and Danny were amazing, I was a little hesitant to do the yearly pass but not even 2 minutes into our adventure it was a no brainer. If youre visiting the area I cant recommend SeaQuest enough, if your local, again the season pass is no brainer, very therapeutic and fun whether your a parent or not.
Aside from this place being new and having a low cost for the year membership, this place is a little disappointing. The exhibits are nice and enjoyable, I just expected a little more for an aquarium. This is definitely for kids. The adults version is at the Dallas world aquarium.
SeaQuest far exceeded my expectations! It was not like any other aquarium I have ever been to. There are so many hands on opportunities for several different kind of animals, not just aquatic creatures. My husband and I loved it just as much as our two kiddos! Kelc was a great tour. She gave us great info to help us interact with the animals better, was very friendly and welcoming, and very obviously loved her job! Thank you SeaQuest for a great visit!
We had a wonderful time exploring all of the amazing animals, sea life and best of all swimming with the Sting Rays. Kyle was our guide, and made our experience so much fun, and safe for the rays and us.We took our 16 year old son with Special needs to swim with the sting rays, and Kyle was truly amazing and so compassionate creating a lasting memory of fun with the sting rays.Just FYI they support volunteer opportunities for special needs at SeaQuest. Definitely speak with management for more information.Thank you Kyle for a fantastic birthday for our Jaxon.
Wonderful staff & facility. We had our oldest kids bday here & set up the snorkel with the stingrays event for 6 of the kids. They got to meet Zora the bumblebee python & feed several animals & the stingrays too. 10/10 great value. Definitely cool experience for the kids!
My girls really enjoyed the encounters. Caroline did the otter encounter. She was so kind and patient and shared information about the otters. Kaylon was the animal whisperer that did the Kinkajou experience.she shared some very interesting facts. Libby was the one that cheerfully shared the snorkel stingray with my girls. My girls are aged 12, 13 and 22. They all had a blast and so did I.
Initial thought was the gps directed us to the wrong location. As we passed the ophthalmologist business and rounded the corner discovered the SeaQuest sign.Walked into the mall and it’s dead other than a few stores. We found SeaQuest and proceeded to the line to get in.Wait wasn’t to long, and the staff was very helpful. This venue was bigger than I initially thought. The variety of reptiles a d sea creatures are good.Looks like the host birthday parties here in a room near the large tortoise.Didn’t get to check the cleanliness of the bathrooms but over all it was keep up.As with any zoo setup theirs always that smell so if this bothers you plan for it.
We went online and bought the 20 dollar/person package. It came with 4 feedimg tickets, entry, and behind the scenes tour. Stingray Stacie was awesome amd we had a lot of fun behind the sceens. Got to hold shark pods, see freshly hatched sharks, plus so much more. Both my 12 and 15 year olds had a blast.

2022-01-17Love Sea Quest. I have been visiting Sea Quest since 2019. I love seeing the different animals and then seeing the regulars like Alvin, Norman, Flap Jack, Ghost, and etc. Today my niece and nephew joined me since they have never been here. They loved and had fun. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. They are short staffed and still do a fantastic job. Met Shashi today, she let us in to Alvin area. Before we could go in she informed us of the rules of before and left entering his area and the reason why. She was friendly, she smiled, you could tell that she enjoyed telling us about how to properly pet Alvin and where not to touch and she could read his body language of, no people I need some space. She was great. Thank you. Cant wait to visit again in a couple months.

2022-05-23Cool place to take kids and nice for a family outing . It’s not very big but big enough to keep children entertained. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They have some really cool animals that you can interact with and feed. My children really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

2022-02-20This was a fun experience with my family. As other reviews stated, its inside a mall and it does look like the enclosures are too small. With that said it was still fun to get to feed the different sea creatures. My kids loved being able to see them up close when they would come up for the food. We even got to get inside the enclosure to feed the tortoise. It was much longer than we expected so towards the end my kids were ready to go. It was a nice experience.

2022-03-10My family really enjoyed their day at SeaQuest. We first did the Whisper Tour with Josh, who gave us some inciteful information about how the facility is ran. My sons did the otter interaction, while my daughter got to experience the stingray snorkeling. Josh was really great and he was very knowledgeable about the animals. He was very friendly and had an amazing personality. We enjoyed our day and we will be back.

2022-03-31We love SeaQuest! Theyve got so many animal encounters... Most of their animals have some kind of interaction. You can buy food to feed most of the animals as well. My kids love it and so do I. We usually spend four hours here but you can easily spend all day. And its a great educational experience!! Their employees are soooo friendly and always full of information! You can also host birthday parties and stuff here and you can even have a mermaid experience!! Highly recommend!

2022-02-16Do not be fooled by the outside, this place is much bigger than it looks. We stayed almost 3 hours (including the snorkeling with sting rays) and STILL didn’t get to see all of the animals. Staff was super friendly, be sure to check Groupon for coupons before you purchase tickets, you can call and they’ll price match. Our snorkel instructor, Josh, was AMAZING, very knowledgeable, and patient with our son. And another worker, I think her name was Sarah, she was very nice and helped us feed the birds. Can’t wait to visit again!

2022-01-21We just went to SeaQuest for the first time and had an awesome experience with my 5-year-old, 22-month-old, and mom. We’ve never been so close and actually interacted with so many animals! We met one of the handlers, Josh, who told us they just started a new thing this week to let you feed the animals their fresh meal at mealtime (instead of just the snacks they have in the containers). So we got to serve chopped up fish to the stingrays and White Spotted Bamboo Sharks, and it was so cool (gloves provided)!!! It was 2 tokens per person to do that. Josh also told us all about the different species while we fed them, which was an amazing lesson for the kids. We can’t wait to go back and do this again! (I pulled some screenshots from a video I took, which are not great, but you can see how the stingrays come up and you can drop them fish.)
