Sedona Apartments in other cities:
We love the staff here, they are always so friendly. maintenance responded quickly. Apartments are nice and roomy. The gym and pool are well taken care of. A few problems we have run into here- dogs not being on leashes, very loud neighbors who we have contacted and disregard us asking them to be quiet past 11pm. We will definitely be reaching out to the office about the noise, but unsure if they are just overly loud or if it could be thin ceilings/walls. We have had a few fights right outside our door from neighbors when we first moved in, but they have since left. We have also gotten a scammer at our door who we had to call the police on. There are no lights in the living room.Overall, the apartments are very nice, but recommend living upstairs so you can sleep at night and you wont have people walking around your apartment constantly.
I love this place! Staff is amazing, patient and friendly with my son, apartments are very modern and appliances work well, the amenities are great, and maintenance is prompt. I had an issue and they were there in under 5 minutes. This review is worth every star. If you want a nice apartment, this is the place to find it.
Ive lived at many different complexes in Abilene over the years and have never been more satisfied with an apartment. Ive had nothing but good encounters and experiences with the management and any issues or concerns were addressed very quickly (which is surprising for a management company nowadays.) My apartment is a great size and kept up really well for the price. Also, the outdoor areas are well maintained! Big plus. Its a good place to call home. Continue satisfying, yall!
The water is always being turned off due to some kind of plumbing issues. I get emails AT LEAST twice a week saying the water has been cut off and they don’t know when it will be turned back on. For instance, today I was emailed around 3:30pm about an EMERGENCY water shut off. It is now 9:00pm that I am writing this review and the water is still OFF! I don’t know when the water will be cut on, wouldn’t be surprised if it was off all night. One time the water was shut off and it was running brown for HOURS after it was turned back on. Another thing about this place is that the maintenance is supeeer lazy. When my boyfriend and I moved in we thought there was no cable jack in the front room, turns out they just covered it up with a wall plate. Another huge problem is hearing gun shots randomly throughout the evening. Very unsafe, especially if you have kids. Cant wait until my lease is up so I can get out of this place!! Oh and good luck trying to contact the office because THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE.
The staff is extremely helpful and kind! Steve and Bobbi always greet me with a smile and a warm attitude! The maintenance people are always willing to assist and always come out urgently whenever I have an issue. I’ve enjoyed living at Sedona thanks to the wonderful and caring employees.
I have lived here for over 6 years now. We have been through several management companies but the one we have now is awesome. Last night I decided my air was not blowing cold air so I submitted a maintenance request after hours. I did not flag it as an emergency. Low and behold about an hour later I get a call from one of our dedicated maintenance men Henry. He wanted to know if he could come over to check it out. I was really glad because it was starting to get a little warm in my apartment. Henry had it fixed in less than 30 minutes and as I was coming in from work today he let me know he followed up this morning to make sure it was still cooling ok. I hope Henry stays here at Sedona as he is definitely an asset to our community. Thanks again Henry!
Me and my husband lived there for almost a year. We never had any problems. I wanted to put this post because I see a lot of bashing about roaches and rats and poor management. I never once saw a rat in my apartment nor a roach, in fact I remember them spraying all the time.If you have roaches and rats in your apartment it’s probably the way your living. I also want to brag on the office staff ....we loved Bobbie!!!!! She is absolutely great at her job and goes above and beyond. We were there for the old management and the last month the new was comeing in and I must say the changes in the atmosphere where great. The only small issue which really wasn’t even a issue Shannon the property manager got it all straightened out ☺️
I have been living here for several months now and all I can say is that I absolutely love my Town home, I cant speak for the people in the apartments but my first impressions of the place are very good. The staff is absolutely AMAZING and SUPER friendly, The facilities are well kept, the neighbors are sweet, The parking is good, etc. I havent had any issues yet and I honestly dont plan too. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a good long term apartment and my advice for anyone considering living here is, come down and schedule an appointment to see some of the apartments, visit with the office staff, and check out the grounds, Im sure you will love it.
I saw some bad reviews and was almost discouraged to move in, but i am so glad that i did. This has been the best 6 months thus far of ever living anywhere. I had some friends that lived in the community and referred me, and although I was hesitant at first, the staff was so amazing to answer all the hard questions I had, and I have only had one issue since moving in and maintenance was over at my place right away. I have seriously never received better service and I would recommend this place to EVERYONE if I could. All i can say is dont believe everything negative you read, if i had I wouldnt have the best apartment i have ever had
Im going on two years with sedona apartments. I havent had any major problems at all. The community is very involving with the residents. This month was my birthday and they left a card at my door.. how sweet is that. Bobby is one of my many favorites there. I have a question or a concern she is right there making sure everything is perfect. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a perfect home!
TO ALL MY MILITARY AN CIVILIANS DO NOT MOVE HERE! I have lived here for 8 months now and this is by far the worst I have ever lived in. Being military I have lived everywhere across the globe, I chose this place just by looking online due to being deployed and needing something quick. Unfortunately that was the worst decision, it seemed okay at first (although it looks nothing like online pictures) and now I have found black mold which I have notified them and all they do is spray “moldex” on it and it goes away for a couple of days then comes right back! My 4yr old has never gotten more sick here than anywhere else and I am going to take her to the doctor to see if it could be the black mold. Everyday I find roaches, maggots, etc which I take pictures of. So many maggots in the kitchen right by my fridge that I threw all of my food away. There have been multiple incidents of shooting and even a drive by shooting so close to my unit my daughter and I had to go hide until the shots were done. I am not one to complain in fact I hate it but this has to be known. The management are very nice people but the complex is in poor livable conditions. Especially being in the military and after a long day of work/deployment coming home to this, it is not worth the money and I will pay extra to live somewhere else. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE AND LIVE ELSEWHERE, save yourself the stress.
I have 2 bedroom apartment that was remodel. Its very nice how they put all new appliances and no carpet . However , the actual structure are in poor shape . Floors are uneven and bathroom tubs were not replaced , just painted over . The issue are the people here . Few nights ago I heard gun shots ! ! No police showed up after calling . Young people fight all the time outside . We have drug dealer who live in the complex and run up to the allsups and drop off there drugs . I am pretty sure the police are aware ? I just cant figure why they arent doing anything. I wish never moved here . But I am in a lease and will make do . Just a fair warning to anyone who want to move here .
I am being billed 184.00 that my pet deposit I paid in 2015 should have covered. They could not provide me with what i paid in 2015-2016 since it was under other management. The office staff/manager did not try to help me out with this issue. I have contacted the better business bureau about this. I lived there for 3 years (in june) and that is how they want to treat me after being a good tenant. I dont recommend this apartment complex. It may be really nice after renovations but i wont suggest this apartment complex to anybody or any apartments who are managed by BH management. It would not let me leave zero stars for this review or i would have.
Water is constantly being turned off for emergency maintenance. Water has been off for the last 3 hours with no answer to when itll be back on. This happens at least once a week. Today it went off before receiving the e-mail about it being turned off. Im sure Im not the only one who is a little upset not being able to shower/cook tonight considering the water has been off since 3:30pm- now being almost 7pm and it not being turned back on.....
Lived there for a year and a half, staff is great! Buildings overly priced, 805$ for a 2/1 that was poorly made, everything will break a lot. Stuff you hear about rats is true, had one seen so often we named him. Expect to be charged expensively for everything. Got charged for rap feces after we moved out from their rats. When you move out expect a lot of charges as well, 600$ for their rat infectation damages and a bed frame we were unable to move out, my fault for not thinking how much they overcharge everything. Still not the worse place to live in Abilene!
Please take any review that is greater than 1 star with a grain of salt. Im going to keep this short and simple. These are delapitated buildings. Do not let pictures on line fool you. These apartments are absolutely gross. Literally infested with bugs. We had 4 leaks in our ceiling. The pipes kept busting. And the maintenace people they use , well lets just say they definitley did not go to any formal training such as trade school. Unfortunately we signed a 6 month lease. Regreted moving there in the first week. We found needles on the ground and many other issues. That apartment complex is not safe. We broke our lease 3 months into it. Please do your homework before thinking about moving there. You will absolutely regret it.
If i could post pics i would they cover mold with paint not kills paint mold everywhere in ketchen bathroom bedroom and closet there are leaks they didnt take care of for almost 3 weeks water gets shut off on a daily for almost all day and bed bugs they charged me for double to get rid of !!! They wont build a ramp for wheelchair users told them to move but still half to pay rent for 3 more months which is illegal and guest are allowed 3 days and they are not allowed to bring there service dog they half to pay the fee which is 400$ even tho your not on the lease!! people up stairs moved out in a week due to being deadly allergic to mold!!
The entire process was very smooth. I was very impressed with the office staff and management. I would recommend them over any other apartment complex to rent from. If your looking for the best possible customer service and affordable prices I would go to Sedona Apartments.
First of, the staff that works here at Sedona apartments are extremely friendly. Whenever you ask for any assistance they are always there to help to the best of their ability and will always have an answer for whatever problem you may have. Bobbie Jo helped me alot and made me feel at home. The rooms were very cozy; Im a big guy and it felt spacious. Which I entirely look for in a room. Along with the coziness of the rooms comes the appliances that are very modern. I would normally get a membership at a gym out in town but I have caught myself using the gym here more than often. The gym literally has what I need to go about my daily exercise. I wouldnt ask for any other apartment besides Sedona apartments here in Abeline.
Liars and crooks. Went all summer with no a/c and all winter with no heat. After you live there for a year, they increase your rent by $150 only to live in the same rundown unit you were already in! They never repair anything, and your hot water will only last 4 minutes tops. Thats if you have water that day, they shut the water off multiple times a week from 8-6pm for pipe repairs and then try to blame it on tenants. They have zero accountability and like to send out emails threatening their tenants like it is a school yard. They promise properly working laundry facilities but none of the dryers work and they do not do anything about the crackheads roaming around the complex breaking into cars. Worst place Ive ever lived and a major rip off. 👎👎👎
I currently live at Sedona apartments and I have had a wonderful experience so far. Shelby Coleman was my leasing agent and she has been nothing but caring, helpful, and professional to me since my move in. I have been all over town looking for an apartment with coziness, good people, and a clean and wonderful environment, and this is it!
I lived here for almost 3 years... staff and maintenance was always nice and attended to my issues as promptly as possible... they are the ONLY apartment Ive ever lived in that didnt find way to keep my entire deposit when moving out... and Ive cleaned the heck out of every place...
This place IS NOT worth the price the remodel is just paint and new appliances. The buildings are old they have issues with plumbing and ac units constantlyPeople stealing out of carsAnd my daughter was told something different every time we went in to discuss her situation.
I’m a traveling therapist who uses the web as a primary source when looking for a place to live. Most of the time I’m moving site unseen due to my contracts. This apartment has changed my prospective and view on my method going forward . I will never trust a website and an employee word of mouth, without viewing the apartment first ever again. I was suppose to move in a 1/1 townhome and upon arrival with all of my belongings and moving truck I asked the employee if i could see my townhome before I signed my lease. As she escorted me we had to pass the pool which had a group of teens smoking weed, as we got up to my unit which was a corner one the entire sidewalk and walkway to the townhome was flooded, we had to walk in the grass from the neighbors unit, when I got into the townhouse the kitchen is so small where nothing of two can be open at the same time ex. Stove, fridge, dishwasher, no closets beside one which is extremely small and in the only bedroom, the bathroom toilet and tub were so close you can take a dump and shower at the same time and a Ventilation hole the size of a golf ball that had water dripping from it so if I take a shower I will also have some type of foreign water dropping right on me at the same time. We left the unit together and the employee was telling me if you don’t like it she totally understands also a dead giveaway of why not to move there. I left with all of my stuff and stayed in a hotel for that night called management the next day and was basically told that I will not be refunded my deposit And that everything I had to complain about was a preference so basically that there are people in this world that wouldn’t mind anything that I had seen and had to go through and would still have took that apartment ...I’m sorry but I work to hard for my money I want to come home after a hards day way work and be comfortable. I tried reaching out to all management staff to give them an opportunity to address my issue and that was the only response I got back. So please look at what your getting into before even sending them any type of money or paying any application and admin fees
Rats, mice, roaches and ants. All in 1 month. Not 2 ants. Hundreds. Not 1 roach. A lot. & not just 1 rodent. ALOT.Nasty INFESTED place. They don’t care for you or their apartments. Rude people. Nasty people live there. There’s people yelling and fighting. Cops get called daily. Drug traffic. Kids running around yelling and cursing all evening.Save your money and go somewhere else.Do yourself a favor.
RATS, RATS, RATS !!!! They let me move in knowing previous tenants broke lease because of infestation. Neighbors had bed bugs and found out the problem was there before them from previous tenant. This place is rundown and to make it worse new management could care less. After several visits to the office and trying to resolve this issue and after sleeping in my car for months I decided to move. Do not move here!!! I would give them a negative 5 if allowed!
New Management used to be good. But now it sucks. Very political. Anyone who is looking for a place to live, I always recommend to keep away from Sedona and any others affiliated with them.I agree with another review that said that maintenance crew is phenomenal and always working hard. They should be the ones to manage. Fire present management and put maintenance crew in charge.

2022-07-05On top of the photos i added there are many more that I could of added just wanted to give some examples of how horrible this apartment is. Management does not care about tenants. Staff and management in office are poorly trained, especially the females in the office are all rude and always have an attitude Problem and constantly just roll their eyes for any issue you bring to their attention. and dont understand how to communicate issues unless it is one of the multiple water outages they have on weekly basis. I have brought up multiple safety issues regarding the stability of their structures and the only answer i have got is they dont have the tools. The property is always trashy. The only plus their may be is the maintenance people here are friendly and could manage this place better than any of the people in the office, especially their head maintenance guy, that guy is amazing. Please consider other apartments before wasting your money here.

2022-07-11Honestly just trash. Rent is Overpriced. Washing machines are constantly broken. Water is always shut. Kitchen and bathroom appliances are cheap. When I first moved here a lot of cabinets and drawers in the kitchen came broken. I Contacted management and they never fixed anything. Only lived here for three months and my rent went from $650-$800 just for a studio apartment when I used to pay $800 for a two bedroom apartment. It’s a big no for me. Don’t live here !

2022-03-21Extremely unresponsive and dismissive staff. Its easier to pull teeth than to try and get ahold of anyone who can help with any issues. The property manager is impossible to get in touch with and the assistant manager will continue to say that shell get back to us but never does. The only remotely helpful staff member has been Jordan, but theres only so much a leasing agent can do. Management is a nightmare.

2021-12-06The apartments look better in pics than they do in person. The laundry room is terrible, only a few washers available and people dont take their clothes out..

2020-08-09I’ve lived at Sedona for 2 years, and have no complaints. The facilities are excellent, and the grounds are constantly being improved. Common areas are clean and well-maintained. My apartment is an older unit that was remodeled. Any maintenance issues are assessed as quickly as possible, and handled in the utmost professional way. I’ll definitely be sticking around Sedona, and recommending it to everyone I know!

2020-01-27Before I moved in, I checked these reviews and saw all the comments about the water being turned off. I thought, well, it cant be that bad. Reader, it is. No one is exaggerating. The water gets turned off at least once a week for multiple hours. I know they try to do it when people are at work, but that isnt always the case. If you enjoy not having to think about whether or not youll have access to water, live elsewhere. That being said, maintenance has always been super helpful. Levi has covered everything from my heater not working to checking my oven temperature. He is quick to respond and always polite.I personally have never felt unsafe here. But Im paying way too much money to not have water.

2020-01-29I’ve lived at Sedona for a little over 2 years. They have always been helpful, friendly and are very timely in resolving maintenance issues. Recently I have a need for a 2 bedroom 3 bath apartment. Amanda has made the transition very easy for me. By having an apartment ready right when I needed it. They inspected my apartment as part of the process. I signed the lease online. So now everything is all done before my move takes place. The area is a very safe area for single and older residents. Location is close to shopping, transit, or even walking.
