Coming in to say, I had a question about my account and spoke with the friendliest, nicest lady who understood and IMMEDIATELY took care of my concerns. I wont rent at any other location. Property is well maintained, safe, and not one time have I had bugs or other pests.You have to remember - some bad reviews are left because you kinda have to pay your bill to get your stuff. Please take those with a grain of salt. FABULOUS facility and people.

This is THE public storage you want to rent from! Not only is it a super clean facility with easy access from 820, you get an awesome, warm and friendly meeting with Vicki! Ive went through tough times and each time I called for ANY information Vicki bends over backwards to help. I drive 45 minutes ONE WAY just to keep my storage locker at this particular location ALL thanks to VICKI!! You the bomb girl!!

I made reservations for my storage unit on line went to the property to pay everything was exactly how it was advertised.. Vicki the property manger was so friendly and courteous.. The place is secure with great access and even a app that makes accessing my storage unit super easy definitely recommend!!!!
Off and on Ive used this particular location on Hilltop Drive for over 15 years. Fantastic facility. Clean and neat. Equipment upgraded. App to open and enter the gate. I cant compliment all of those things enough. But for me semi long-term storage the prices are way too high and keep going up. I know the property values in the area have gone up as well but if I cant store things cheaply its better to take a loss and get rid of them. I will say for the last 5 years Ive had a unit here, and a unit across the street at meadowcrest storage which is less than half the price if you can find an available unit. They are great and friendly. The facility is old but it functions 100% as you need it to. I dont mind old paint that saves me half for my monthly bill.
Dirty and according to staff has a security problem in the climate controlled section.

I have spoken to several storage unit places, I have moved across country and spoken to many people. With the country shut downs there are not many custimer service friendly people left.However Vicki, man she is one of the few left. You could tell with the mask on, she was still smiling. She definitely knows her job and knows how to keep smiling to everyone around her.The units are clean and well maintained. There is no trash laying around, no debries. I have rated this public storage on hilltop for five stars, the only reason I have put five stars is because of the new management Vickey. Vicky has done more in the first 3 1/2 weeks that she was there then I got done with my storage unit needing repairs in the first 5 1/2 months with zero got done she’s very friendly she seems to care about the tenants. I am super happy for things to get better I n this property.
Nice management . nice facility . Vicki does a good job keeping it clean and taking care of business . I didnt much care for the mandatory add ons like their lock and their insurance but overall its a good place to store your stuff .

Was at the property with my grandma and Ms Vicki come by and was talking to us and she is the nicest lady ever. My grandma says that every time she she her she is always cleaning and smiling and always stops to talk to her.
Awesome experience Jonathan made our move in smooth and easy. He was very helpful and answered all the questions we might have had. He even made great suggestions and tips to help our stay go as smooth as possible. I am not lying when I say we were weary about getting a storage unit but honestly I am glad we came to this location and had Jonathan as our manager.

Jon was really nice and friendly when he called to confirm the reservation Id set online. I was unsure of when Id get there to take care of things, but he was so patient and considerate via telephone and even moreso in person. He thoroughly explained policies and answered our questions. He was also very patient and considerate.
Aimee was great! Wonderful customer service here. She even helped me switch unit numbers when my stuff didnt fit. She and Nick helped me decide on the packing materials I would to get moved most efficiently. They are great... Ill be back again in the future. They definitely deserve a raise. :)

I give this facility 5 stars... 2 thumbs up... Carole is wonderful. I have called many times needing assistance and she is always pleasant and helpful. This storage facility is excellent. We have had several units for the past 8 years. The facility is ALWAYS clean, ALWAYS well-managed. Carole and her crew do an excellent job for Public Storage and for her clients. She and her staff are always professional, always helpful! We will store our items here for a long time because even though they are away from us, their storage unit(s) are being looked after well!
First time getting any sort of storage unit, and it was made extremely simple. The rates are great, and the ease of acquiring and accessing the unit are preferable to the alternative. Likewise, Josephine was the agent who assisted me, and she made the experience even simpler. She had answers to all of my questions, but above all else, she was personable and friendly. Very polite and conversational, she made the experience very comfortable for me.

I have been renting a storage unit from this place for approximately six months, every month when I come in to pay my rent I must say the ladies in the front office are so pleasant and so friendly it’s this kind of customer service that keeps me coming back!
Me and my sister were literally in REALLY BAD NEED of a storage unit and Vicki at location #75081 the store at 6451 Hilltop Drive helped us out SOOOOOOO MUCH and made sure that we were taken care of in a timely manner and even stayed passed the time she was supposed to get off for us .She was absolutely GREAT.

The office manager is very customer service oriented. (Red hair) I just came from there. Very upset over their elevators not working when I’m trying to move my stuff. First it was the one closest to my storage and now it’s all of them. I made plans to move out boxes of this storage and now I can’t because I’d have to do it individually down 3 flights of stairs. I then call the customer service number. Of course I’m heated and upset but the lady on the phone was NOT professional AT ALL. Told me not to talk over her. I was not finished talking. Very very rude. I would NOT recommend this place. Only reason you get stars at all is because of the sweet lady in the front — so thank you
I walked in with the intention of getting in and out as fast as possible. After talking with Jonathan and getting a unit set up, I didn’t mind staying for a little chit chat with him. Very pleasant experience and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Carole is very professional and efficient. I filled all my information in online ahead of time, so she got me in and out in about 10 minutes. She even called me a few days later to make sure I got moved in and didn’t need any further assistance. By far the best customer service I found during my storage unit search!

Josh was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Making a stressful transition much more bearable. Made sure I understood everything and pointed out a few storage matters I hadnt even considered so that I wouldnt run into any issues after moving my stuff in. Price was relatively affordable as well and would have no problem recommending this location to others.

Brandy is the ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to customer service and setting you with everything you need during your time of stay. Shes never too busy to make sure youre a happy customer. We dropped our previous storage building from another location because she was more personable toward us and we spent a wonderful couple months in her facility. Suggestion from me would be not to use any other location except this one. Everything was just so pleasant. Thank you Brandy so very much!!! To us shes not just the professional office person, shes became a friend.
My first experience with Public Storage, with any storage company, was wonderful. Aimee was a pleasure to work with. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. These days it is a nice change to be treated like a customer that matters.

Jared was SUPER helpful. He made sure we was all set and thoroughly understood what we needed to do to get into our unit. He even showed us a couple different units when we were unsure. Id HIGHLY reccomend. :)
Most excellent service at this facility. The only issue I had over the years here was one time I was waiting for the office to open to ask a question. The young man staffing the office was having issues telling analog time (do they still teach how to read an analog clock?). He insisted that he was right on time although myself and a lady waiting for him disagreed. Not a big deal and I moved on.When I recently vacated my unit, the young man in the office (unfortunately I did not capture his name) was very professional, had excellent interpersonal skills and was basically a pleasure to work with.I would definitely recommend this Storage Facility to others in the North Richland Hills Area.

I had a storage space for about 10 years with no complaints. I recently rented a larger space in the climate control building and was most impressed Carole still remembered me after being gone for 5 years. She is a very impressive combination of professional and personable. I really cannot express how helpful she is.
Very pleased with Vickey . She is cordial and very helpful. Would use this facility again. Would have given 5 stars but the men installing new doors dropped screws and that sort of litter on the driveway. They should clean up their mess and not leave it for the regular employees to deal with.

Most excellent experience. Carole was very helpful and nice to work with. Much better experience than at the Public Storage that referred us to this location. The first location kept focusing on a 7x10 unit while we clearly told them we want a 10x10. Carole said what size we wanted, showed us the unit and it was a done deal in less than 15-minutes. Unit was clean, ground level with easy access. Would have liked a wider door to the unit to make it easier to move things in & out. Not a big deal but nice to have.
First of all I just wanna say the two customer service representatives that I delt with Aimee and Nick were super helpful and nice. They made the paperwork and overall experience easy and less stressful. If your looking for good prices and GREAT customer service come here!!

The manager was very helpful and friendly. The process was quick and easy and I got a great price for my size of storage unit. My units door looks and works a little rough but inside the unit was nice and that is what matters.

I encountered glass on the isle my unit is on and I phoned the front desk to inform them of the situation. Nancy answered the phone and after listening to my concerns she came right away and took care of the situation. She was very pleasant and the glass removed in no time.

This place is a joke. They sent out letters that they were doing some upgrades and would be replacing the doors on the units. The locks would be replaced and new keys would need to be picked up after a certain date.I went after said date to be told that my door wasnt being replaced and my keys should still work. I went to my unit and they did. No issues. The next time, a few weeks later, my son went by there and the keys wouldnt work. The office was already closed . A few days later I went up there myself, and the keys again didnt work. Office was closed. I called the 800 number and got the run around. Finally a few days later I was able to get up there and get the new keys. I live 45 mins from where the storage is, and have a job so its not always convenient to go when they are open.We have been in our unit 3 times since then. I went late one evening last week and guess what, my keys dont work AGAIN. I have been locked out away from my belongings too many times. I pay almost $100 a month. Have never been late, usually pay 2 weeks in advance. Then they had the balls to send me an email saying they were raising the rent. This place is a joke. Go to Extra Space Storage. Way better company.
Lillian was very helpful. I went in to switch credits cards for my payments and she noticed I was being over charged for my unit. Grateful she noticed, it will be saving me some money!

I have had my travel trailer and RV stored at this location for over a year now without any problems. Carole and the other associates have always been kind and helpful.As much as RVs cost it is very nice to not worry about whether it is in a safe location.Great Job ! I highly recommend this location.

I have been dealing with Public Storage now for approx. 10 yrs. The location @ North Richland has always been very clean and well managed. We have the nicest property manger by the name of Carole, who has never had a frown or bad attitude towards us. She is always either working outside on the grounds, the units or in the office. As sson as she see a customer she drops what she is doing and attends to our needs. Wish there were more employees as Carole that had her attitude and devotion to her job as well as her customers. Keep up the good work Carole.
Brandy has made my move in awesome, she made me feel extremely comfortable about moving my personal things and keeping them somewhere besides my house safely. My aunt and cousin moved from Arizona to Texas and I had a wonderful experience getting the storage rented before they arrived. When they arrived the storage was ready and Carole was fabulous in making sure that they had all that they needed to unload the moving truck. This was probably the least stressful part of their move! Thanks Carole and Public Storage for such an easy breezy process!

I rented a unit and was a day late to show for my reservation . gabby rented me the unit was very professional and showed me the unit before renting which I was more than. We have used public storage on hilltop for quite sometime now and we are very pleased with Carol and the way she takes care of our RV there. One time we left our keys in the door and she found them within minutes of our leaving them and called us. Thanks to Carol everything was ok. The manager Carol was amazing and so was her associate. I loved how friendly Carol was and although we had to walk all the way to isle I it was a very joyable experience. I will say that those ladies do deserve to have a fully operational cart, because i could only imagine how hard it could be for them when there is bad weather. I will definetly refer my friends and will use them again.

While moving can be a bit of a (or a real) pain, it is a blessing when you find a place that has patient & helpful people. Aimee & Betty helped A LOT to bring us to a point of comfort about coordinating availability to match our moving schedule. Thanks to their help we can focus on other things as we go through this process.
This place is not safe for your belongings. I had been with them for several months , never was late on payments or anything. Well I had got a email that my storage was not secure knowing I put my lock on I called the manager she went on to tell me the first time that maybe I forgot to secure it & that there was no signs of a brake in. Well when I came in to check my storage her story changed and she said she might have seen a lock one day but not the next an that someone might have broke it off thinking it was theirs, when I got to my storage there were marks on my pad that someone had busted into the storage and I had items missing from my unit. When I told them this their story changed again in saying they knew it had been broken into. Now they will not speak to me on the matter because they do not want to deal with the situation. They should have handled this differently an we would have stayed with the company.
Came in to buy boxes, Vicki is great! So sad she moved from the Arlington stores, but I don’t driving a little further to make sure I get the BEST service!!
Carol was very helpful, even thought the day I arrived was icy, wet and cold. I had special needs but she knew exactly how to help. She set me up with the perfect location within the facility.The entire facility is very clean. The only flaw I have found is that the access panel is not within reach from the car. One must get out of the vehicle to put in a code.

I called about their $1 for the first month special. The special is only for their smallest storage. They also told me a one time fee would be applied. So all together to start smallest one was $25. When I told them I wanted it they set me up an appt time to go sign the papers. Before I went to my appt I went and got a pad lock so I could be ready to start moving. I show up to my appt. She shows me the unit. I told her I wanted it. We go back to the office for me to do paperwork. She tell me I have to have insurance . ..... the cheapest is 11$ . Then she told me I had to have a special lock and I could buy it from her for $20. I really wish they would have told me all this before I had agreed. Its ridiculous. I looked around and only about half the ppl have their special locks. I had only had my storage 3 days before the door broke. I told the lady in the office she said she would but in a work order for the next day. Its been a week and its still broke.** update. 6 -5-17. Went to my storage today to get a few things. RATS are chewing up my things. Went to the office and Lilian would not open the door or answer any questions. So much of my belongings are trash from being chewed up or because of feces. This place is a joke just like the people that work there. Brandy was the only one that acted like she cares but was moved to a different location.

I use this public storage location every time I need a storage unit. It is very quick and easy to reserve a unit. The manager at this property is awesome. She always remembers me and is very welcoming. As long as I live in the north fort worth area, I will always use this location.

Went to help an old College Roommate move some stuff into a 5x10. Theyve definitely got it going on up at this complex. Aimee knew her stuff backwards and forwards. Was super helpful and gracious thinking of everything/anything we might need to make sure the furniture would fit mattress covers the works.Only downside to the complex is a small parking lot, though there is parking right across the street.

If youre looking for a great location with a knowledgable staff this is the place. Nancy was very professional . She helped us get everything we needed to store our stuff longterm. I will definitely recommend this place.

Do not store your things here!!!! Please take your items out of storage and move them if you still store your things here. I moved out of state and stored my items here. 3 months later I found out my unit had rats and thousands$$$$ worth of belongings were ruined. A true tragedy for me, I lost everything. I filed a claim and it was denied because I had a sealed, untouched plastic container of dog food in the unit.So I paid over $400 throw away all my belongings and I was emotionally abused. If you like paying money to get screwed, have fun. Otherwise, RUN AWAY!! I will not rest easy on this, public storage deserves to be shut down and condemned.
Easy, super easy to rent. The space is exactly what was described online and Vicky is the nicest and easiest person to work with. Zero issues whatsoever.

First of all the price was not all that great. The property looked ok when I moved in 5 months ago. Then a week ago I went to check on my travel trailer. I was shocked to see my trailer had been broken into. The office was not very sympathetic until I said I was going to write a bad review stating the truth. They also said there are no surveillance cameras on property. So I moved out and would not reccomend travel trailer owners to park at this unsafe facility.
My boat was stored at their facility for 6 days, from a Sunday until the following Saturday morning, the 2nd day of September. In that interim, the boat was broken into, the battery stolen, the face torn off of the radio, and the contents of the boat scattered around.Understanding that I accept the risk of theft when I contract for outside storage, I have the following issues.I have yet to receive a call from them (today is the 12th) regarding the availability of the video they (allegedly) keep of their lots and units. I wish to have an image (if it exists) so that I may prosecute if I choose.Additionally, I have yet to receive a call back from them regarding whether or not there will be a refund of the rental (or portion of same) for the prepayment I made to them for the end of August and all of September.Finally, based on their lack of response, I do not trust them not to draft my account for October and then not talk to me about that either.I recommend you seek storage elsewhere.
This is my 3rd time using this faculty for my storage needs. I do like the ladies in the office Darnasha helped me out so much. Great place I will always come back here.

RODENTS INFESTED!! DO not leave your belongings here! They do nothing about this matter, and I have many photos showing footprints and damage and thats just from me opening up the unit, i have yet to look further into my unit since I had no gloves. I spoke to a guy in charge for the day and he said this has not been an issue before.. thats a lie, look at the other 1 star review! Nothing to compensate me, now i have to go through all my belongings and see what has been ruined and I have to pay for the full month since i will not be able to get out in time.. b.s. people!

Turn your alarm sensitivity down at night or something because it continues to go off every night from 813pm to 6am this is really causing us at the Hill Top apt complex to lose sleep. The alarm never goes off during the day I feel its been set up to be an annoyance to us on purpose I will start keeping a written time log and a video log for evidence until the problem is fixed. Our office manager said that there has been given written notice of complaints from many residents and nothing has been done ...

I have 2 storage units there. One was broken into on Christmas Eve. I get conflicting stories from the Manager, the North Richland Hills Police Department AND from other customers there whose unit was also broken into! Security cameras conveniently werent working, also dont know why it took so long for the COPS to get there..if they even showed up that day or not! Employees were busy having their Christmas party. Also was told they gave some randon stranger at the party the gate code for whatever reason. I was robbed of THOUSANDS of dollars of my personal stuff, plus the THEIVING DOPES totally ransacked my unit..BIG MESS..NOT HAPPY!!!!! NO SECURITY..NO SAFETY! Then in February my second unit was broken into!!! WHAT THE HELL PUBLIC STORAGE. They obviously didnt improve the security since the last break in! When the alarms are set off the police should be there in minutes..the thieves were there quite a while..but NO! Once again failure on the part of Public Storage and the North Richland Hills Police!!! Im suggesting you think twice before renting a unit here!!!
The only public storage facility i had a problem with i was charged and paid a prorated fee on oct5-13 was told my account will be closed storage was left clean and empty on that same day but recently found on my credit they had send my file to collections stating i owed. was only there up until the 5th i will hate to pay double because of their mistake of not putting the correct move out information in their system this isnt the first time i moved my things out of public storage so im aware of their move out policy and the rent was always on time.

2022-05-24Daisy was absolutely amazing. I was having a hard day and car problems and she still stayed after closing to help me secure a unit. I cant say enough positive words about this location. The unit, the office, and even the bathroom were all clean. The process to rent a unit was easy and the rates were great, especially with the special they offer. 2022-06-13I have a storage at this facility and there is absolutely no climate control there. I went there to retrieve a few boxes Saturday 6/11/22 and almost passed out when I went inside this storage. I became dizzy, lightheaded, and my heart was pounding from going in this hot storage to the point I had to sit down on my items while I catch my breath and there are cameras there but nobody came to check on me. Yes I had a talk cup of ice water and was doing fine before I entered this place. It felt like 180 degrees in this place. To make matters worse you have to enter a code just to leave this place. If I would’ve passed out I would’ve been stuck inside this awful place. I called their office several times to report this incident but they never answered. So I went back the next day and saw an attendant that was working there I tried to flag her down and get her attention and she gave me the most disgusting look as she drove off in a golf cart. I wish I would’ve called the ambulance that day I almost passed in out in this burning hot facility because I barely made it out of that place. I even went to the hospital to get treated for heat exhaustion from this incident. I would not recommend anyone to do business with this awful storage facility.

2022-07-07If I could give lower then 1 star I would. To start off with, about 3-4 years ago we made a reservation for a unit that was suppose to cost only $30 that month and got charged the full price once we got there completely taking away the online deal that I had made. Within the same year, they made a mistake on their end and forced us to repay for another month when we had paid 2 months in advance and NEVER got our money back. They refused. Then recently a few months ago when finally being able to reach our unit, there was water damage on my sentimental , guitar amps, tvs, and game consoles. I had been told that without evidence I couldnt do anything about the insurance that we were already paying for. So of course when we came back to recieve our things, the roof conviently was fixed along with some of our belongings such has tool and collectibles that had been STOLEN from us. They dont know how to answer a phone nor be at their own office before closing hours and have met several people that had the same issues has us.I cant speak for all Public Storage but this specific location is the worse place to trust any of your belongings at.

2022-02-02Vicki is an amazing property manager. Helped me during a fast move. Made as easy and stress free especially with helping with needed size. And she smiled, managed 2 other people with needs, and a phone call. And still smiled. The unit is just what I wanted.
