The last week event was so much fun! Thank you! Finally feel like home, and hooray to the new sports court!! I appreciate the owner finally hire a new management to take care of the maintenance.
I like the staff here. The place is nice, clean, and quiet. Though sometimes I can hear the upstairs moving here and there living at 1F. I think it is normal and understandable. I do recommend this place after shopping for other properties in Bay City. This one is the best for price and overall living quality.
This place had a bad reputation but is under new management. This company wants to make a difference. They are interested in the residents and their safety. The rates are great. Lots of good deals right now. You wont regret living here. Quiet, clean. Great pest control every week if wanted....
Nice apartments, great staff, good amenities, and a fast turnaround time on maintenance requests. I first signed with Shadow Bay because the apartments were affordable and spacious, but after living here some time, I can say definitively the price to quality ratio is very high here across the board. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to rent in the Bay City area. The staff, both front office are some of the best people Ive worked with in the area and the units themselves are great!
Emma was the nicest person I’ve ever met she had a smile that legit would light up an entire room ! She was so sweet and fast process ! So glad I decided to rent here ! Fixed up my apartment today and it looks so cute ! Can’t wait for the pool to open 😊💕 5/5 stars because why the heck not ! First it’s so quiet they upgraded so much and the maintenance is always on call ! The entire staff is great !
Just now receiving a letter saying i owe from 2019. I moved due to mold and to me being pregnant and they had a lease manager sign the form. Now stating that they dont have it on file. Very unprofessional. They switch managers every week & its alot of embezzling going on. I shouldnt have to pay this apartment anything if yall would do yall job properly. Please try a different complex
I think it is a fair apartment to live in. It is nice and quiet. The grounds are maintained, and I see the staff working on parts of the apartment each day. I have lived here 5 months, and am seeing a gradual change, especially the last 2 weeks. I would recommend this place for anyone new in Bay City.
:)))Honestly, I wasnt very sure coming to see this place from the previous online reviews, and yelp reviews. I wasnt too satisfied with other apartments in this town when I walked in inquiring about one bedrooms. The staff here is so welcoming, and took me to their tour, and I decided to go ahead. Its been 2 weeks, and I am happy I chose this place.
I just moved here from out of state. Unfortunately I had to do everything via phone or e-mail, but the staff were made everything so easy! They were really a great help! The apartments are pretty quiet, there’s a courtesy officer onsite and he even patrols every night. I live on my own and safety was a big concern for me. My apartment is the perfect size and very affordable. I definitely picked the right choice when I picked Shadow Bay!
We really enjoyed living at Shadow Bay. Nice staff and great rent prices. Just moved back to Texas and chose this place. It’s nice and clean and in a convenient location. Not much to complain about.
My husband drove here from Arizona, him and some of his workers and the staff in the office were so Awesome!! They were able to get them in on the same day and also gave them 2 air up mattresses.So thankful for everything they did to get them in! Keep up the great work ladies.
I wouldn’t even give this place a star I could write a whole book about these apartments they have money to build a playground but can’t fix our ceilings that has been ruined since hurricane harvey! The roaches are out of control literally took over the kitchen and bathroom! We NEVER have water or hot water take a wipe off is all you can do. I could keep going on and on but what’s the point. Also don’t come on my post saying we are under NEW MANAGEMENT y’all been under new management since I moved in 1 year and a half ago!
Shadow Bay Apts is the BEST EVER!!! I love the staff they are so friendly. I want to thank them so much for all there help moving me and my little family in asap......especially getting a place asap for my kids to start school. Thanks Shadow Bay staff for my move in gift. loved it!!! Strongly recommend to rent here!!!!
I moved in last month the office staff has changed and they really treated me great. I love my new apartment and the donuts and coffee in the office are a added bonus. And I got a free month. I’m telling all my friends it’s a great place to be.

Yes the staff are very friendly! Very kind on the phone and in person, But! ..... They neglect the tenants work orders and rig the a/c units to never shut off. Electric Bills through the roof. They dont care! They have an excuse for every thing.
I love Shadow Bay it has been a great change these few 3 months! I strongly recommend to rent here!! They have excellent customer service! The people in the office are so nice! You will not regret choosing Shadow Bay as your home so quiet and peaceful!
I lived and worked at this apt complex and not only is the management awful, the complex itself couldn’t pass any inspections. On any given day, 15 + residents wouldn’t have air conditioning and the management did not care at all. Awful place. If slumlords had a prize, they would win
Awful management. I told them about a big roach problem Ive had since I move into the apartment and still nothing has been done. The management allows people to get away with their dogs roaming unsupervised and unleashed 24/7 and people gathering in groups to drink in front of the buildings. Worst renting experience ever. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
Things have changed a LOT. The owner finally got their hands on their apartment, and hired a new manager who knows what she is doing. Finally! I am happy with the latest work order. Thank you!!
I have been here for a year now overall has been good no problems staff is wonderful! They have had a bad past but they have come up they are trying😊 they are making this apartment complex awesome again😎

Every 3 months they charge up everything in their office, including the workers.I would not live there if they paid me.

I currently live in here and trust me don’t waste your time PASS THIS PLACE UP . It is infested with ROACHES , BROWN SPIDERS & RATS I made so many complaints , they don’t come check the apartments when you call everything is a big joke here . Definitely moving soon idc if I have to break my lease
Just recently moved into my apartment and its great! The area is very peaceful and my apartment is spacious enough for me and my kids.
The leasing agent was very helpful and the apartment she showed me was very spacious and the model was set up real cute
Roaches, high crime, lazy staff (office and maintenance), allow staff to use vacant and model apartments as lodging... And so much more.

Dirty parking lots.. Some of the Remodeled Apartments looks terrible.
Maintenance is horrible didnt have a/c for 4 months . And they stole all of my things that was in my apartment. This place is the worst!!!

2022-03-18The day before I was supposed to move in I was told the apartment did not have a electricity box at first and then a second totally different Story secondly about why the unit was not ready. The management and staff were very unprofessional, rude, and had a serious attitude problem. Office staff did not check in through the application and approval process. I am still waiting on my deposit to be sent back and the head Manager refused to provide the corporate phone number and information when it was requested. There was a lack of empathy and no acceptable offers to correct the problem. This put me in a hard spot as a single mom and made me have to find a new place to live at the last moment and caused me to loose money already paid for movers. I definitely would never recommend theses apartments to anyone!!!!

2019-09-11The staff here is amazingly helpful now. It wasnt like this a year ago, and things have been different. They seem to care much more now (whereas it used to be a long wait on everything...@@). Anyway, I am happy to give it a 5 star, for their effort to turnaround, and frankly, it is quite nice to live here, and cheaper than other apartments out there with pretty much the same amenities.

2020-12-22I like this place! Not much to complain about. It is easy to pay rent, and when I called for pluming issue, they came and fix it real quick! I got my buddy living here after 1 month with the special and got a free TV !! yay!! Very happy and I do recommend this place. Hope the baseball court can be open soon. cheers.

2020-12-08Thank you guys for caring! I have been here for over 5 months and due to Covid, I hadn’t interacted much with the people in town, nor my neighbors. The property had new management and Melissa had been super friendly and helpful. The wait for maintenance is faster recently, and for whatever reason, I really appreciate the fast response and the feel of home.

2020-11-26It has been great moving here at Shadow Bay. The management team was changed 3 months ago. Since then, I am seeing the changes and I really enjoy the friendliness of the staff and maintenance. Knowing someone who care after moving in to me is important.

2019-08-22I love this place. The staff is super friendly. I decided to take a shot (after seeing some review, I was hesitant, but I am glad I came.) I am happy with my unit and everything so far! :)PS. If the pond in parking lot can be fixed soon, it would be better.

2021-11-02Worst place in Bay City to live. I would give it zero if I could. Joyce lies. We dealt with black mold for over two months with no help from her. Stay away from here. Plenty of pictures to prove how bad our living conditions were and made worst by Joyce to act as a Manager. She offered no help until after she was caught in a lie. Was forced move out, lost our furniture and other belongings. What a nightmare living there was.
