I watched the American Football game. The food was fresh and delicious, I was setting out side the vibes were so nice and the music as well. I highly recommend this place .
I had a good waiter/ bartender. He was friendly, professional, attentive, removed old dishes, refreshed drinks before we even had to ask. His drinks were great. 🙂
First time here since Pandemic . Was just looking for a different place to have drinks with my wife and it turned out to be a great option. We arrived around 930 not a large crowd and had seating at the bar but the crowd started to pick up around 10-1030. Great music and drinks were reasonably priced. However, next time may opt for seating outside since inside becomes so crowded the later it gets. Overall, good hip hop music on the day we were here (Saturday night), bartender was great, only concern was the indoor crowd considering current covid situation.
The waitress and bartenders are nice. I asked for a cocktail suggestion from the waitress who brought me a concoction with a worried look on her face. She explained everyone returns it. It was in fact terrible. I asked to pick something else and she named a drink. Moments later she returned stating they didnt have some of the ingredients. I then asked for an ultra. She returned stating they were out. I asked for a colors light. She returned stating they were out and offered me another light beer. I think management needs to do a bar rescue here. All the places in Fairview go through an identity crisis before becoming a destination. Shakertins needs to decide if it is a upscale bar, sports bar, dance club, music venue or a chilis.UPDATED: whenever I score a place below 3 stars I return to give at least 2 chances to raise it. Shakertins got 3 and it dropped everytime. This place has just gone from ok to worse. Its the definition of an identity crisis. Great specialty drinks (on paper) with a completely unrelated menu. Flavor for flavor the mixology and the food dont pair up. Pool tables are extremely loud and distracting to people lounging. Evidently smoking at the bar outside and blowing smoke inside is allowed. So expect inside to smell of smoke. The icing is when the waitress dressed in tiktok workout gear asked if I wanted a cold mug with my beer. Turned out to be a refrigerated PLASTIC CUP.
Great calm place to grab a drink before their club hours kick in I believe at 10pm. After 10 it switched from country music to new age hip hop
Service wasnt great, nachos were watery somehow. But the staff were funny and we had a great time playing pool.

Charles was a great bartender/server. The nachos were fantastic, so were the wings. Can’t believe the Inexpensive happy hour drinks. This is a great place, great food and great drinks at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to others.
The drinks and atmosphere were good... but what ever you do, do not order the chicken nachos! They were soggy and tasteless.
Cool spot great music crowd was decent no mask tho that was nervous but I will refer friends an family.

First time here and music was good, but It is very hard to get a drink. You have to go to the bar to get your drinks and while standing there waiting for the bartender to acknowledge me, a guy walks right up and yells the bartender’s name, Allison I think I heard over the music, and she looks up and sees him and starts making his drink and then hands it to him. I waited still a long time and then she finally acknowledged me and I ordered my two drinks and know that I’m leaving and not doing this the rest of the night. She hands me my ticket and the gratuity is already included on a ticket for these 2 drinks I just ordered. I don’t understand what she did to earn any gratuity from me. If u don’t want to pay for bad service at this place you may take cash or skip it all together.
Nice sports bar with good food and drinks. However it has more of a club appeal around 10:30. There is a DJ that plays a large cross section of music from back in the day and today. Overall it was a good time.
Bartenders have a MAJOR lack of communication with each other AND their customers.When I approached from the patio, both bartenders were taking shots behind the bar.My main bartender then disappeared for 48 minutes and I was unable to even pay out.Unimpressed as a first time customer.Maybe just an off day - BUT inappropriate service behavior
A great chill spot, good food, drinks reasonably priced and a very good DJ. The only negative was the security search, I mean TSA has nothing on these guys.(Friday nite) Everytime I encounter a major pat down I tend to wonder what happened to warrant such a security measure.
Beware if this place. My husband and son got beatup here 2 nights ago. Very dangerous. These people waited until they got up to knock my son out and punched my husband. They weren’t even consuming anything there. It concerned me that security doesn’t look out for their customers.

I just read the reviews and so many of the ‘low scores’ are related to the bartenders. My husband and I went in on Saturday night, 3/27/21, about 6:30pm. We were 2 of 4 people sitting at the inside bar. I asked for a drink menu, it seemed quite an imposition to get this. Took quite a while to get it. Then it was a struggle for him to come back to us. He saw us leave, it really was no problem for him!!
The pizza here is fantastic! And the bartenders are super friendly. Turns into quite a party on Friday and Saturday nights with the DJ. Come here for the drinks and the nightlife.

Not a bad spot at all went Saturday night 3/13/21. Only thing was service. Bar area was great. They helped us out. Closed out with bartender and told her were moving to a table. She said ok. Moved to a table 2 waitresses looked at us and not once checked on us. Tables around us people sat and they checked on them right away. She walked right by us looked at us kept walking. So I went to the bar and got our own drinks. Bartender asked if we got help. I said no they must be busy. But its ok since they just kept walking by us dont need to tip 2 waitresses that dont want to help out. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar area. Not tables.
Great place have been several times already! Anywhere you sit has a great view of the TVs. Bathroom could use some work on cleanliness and bartenders need a little more work on making drinks but its a new place and Im sure they are going to do great. Nice crowd of people and sports bar atmosphere. There was also live music, will be back for sure.
Heres a weird description of shakertons: a very fancy dive bar. Everything about this place is somewhat pricey, but beneath the bottles and TV is a drunk cheap dive bar waiting to explode out onto the scene. Its super loud though.
This place right here has some great music and drinks. If your looking for a new bartender who is 🔥, then go see BILL! This man here will take care of you all night long. Make sure you tip your bartenders and servers!!!!!!!
The food is okay and they have cheap drinks. Just a little disappointed at the fact that literally none of the employees are wearing a mask. The owner should really make it mandatory, especially when it’s basically illegal for employees to not wear a mask. None of their customers were wearing a mask either, and it was definitely not socially distanced. 100% open to full capacity. I don’t understand how they’re not concerned for their own safety. Just felt unsafe.
Our server was Michelle. She was pleasant, wore her mask and checked on us. I was there for a drink and an appetizer. The queso dip is good and you can add meat. All in all is was a good Covid outing. Only about 3 tables of people on a Sunday around 2pm. The spot is definitely big enough to socially distance.

1st time going there yesterday. I could not order food from the bar I tried with 2 waitresses who ignored me and I even went as far as tapping one on the shoulder and still got ignored. also My friends got cursed out by the bartenders for dancing to the music and the bouncer was selectively sneaking people in through the back patio... Unacceptable and my 1st post got taken down so yeah I have multiple witnesses behind me and I will never go here again.
The late night atmosphere was amazing, the music was on point (DJ played a variety of music and catered to all the patrons; black, white, and hispanic), and drinks were good.
As a server that works in the area and frequents bars I honestly was wondering if I was just tripping but this bar has awful service. I thought it was just me but most my coworkers and friends shared the same experience. The bartenders are rude and give slow service. Taking twenty minutes to not only be acknowledged but then took forever to even make the drinks. One bartender literally told me he doesn’t know what the drink I ordered was and made up a drink and served it to me. My friends experienced racism. Honestly we constantly go to Kelly’s and dodies and never deal with these issues. Three bartenders shouldn’t take 20 minutes to make drinks on a steady night lmao.
The pizza here is surprisingly good but if you are a Bourbon or Beer head you will find both lists very slim. They need to fix that and pull in some live music, which would put this spot on point.
Havent tried the food yet but its a great place to grab a late night drink. Always friendly bartenders and wait staff. Ive gone 3 or 4 times and always a good time

Walked in and walked right out. I was excited to try this place before the closures and noticed it had opened back up. Stopped in to grab a drink and bite to eat and the bartender was so incredibly rude i said NOPE and took our service to Uncle Julios next door. Im a bartender/sever and I just couldnt believe how bad the service was before we even sat down. No wonder it was dead.

After regularly attending other bars in the area for years . I’ve found my new favorite drinking establishment in the Fairview, McKinney, Allen area. Tons of tvs , outstanding service , and fantastic food and drinks !!! Surprised with a brand new place that they have less kinks to work out than most new places !

You’ll order 1 drink then end up getting a tab for $100 or more. When you try and get in contact with management they will run you in circles and say there’s nothing they can do. They scam left and right. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Only giving 1 star because no stars is not an option.
Chicken wings were cold, didn’t realize how cold they were till got to the bone which was bloody. I’m praying i don’t get sick. No apologies or discounts, did remake the wings but nothing else. Atmosphere was great but food sickly

2022-03-06Extremely unethical business practice to charge individual customers 20% gratuity on each transaction without mentioning to them that theyre paying 20% on every purchase they make. This is a good way to scam customers and lower your customer base. Pizza was good 👍

2022-04-18Was charged for drinks I didn’t order. Was told have them Zelle you or send you money. Pretty much told to pay tough. Signed tipped well, went to bathroom. When I came back me and my buddies barstool was turned up against bar, told it was reserved was 3 in the afternoon. The fight it was I guess reserved for wasn’t until night time. Don’t really understand what I did, but oh well I get the message they don’t want me their. Have gone their since opened always tip well never cause a problem.

2022-03-18My husband & I went to shakertins in Allen 3-18-22 for dinner the service was horrible. I went to this restaurant because of the advertising and photos of the food. First The food was as pictured the waiter was short maybe in her late 20s to 30 she wouldnt give eye contact she asked my husband for his order and almost didnt ask me until my husband stopped her Im her tracks. 2ndly I got through half of my chicken sandwhich and I pulled out a long blonde piece of hair I was very upset. The mac has no bread crumbs at all. Ill probably never go back.

2022-07-03I went there for a friend’s birthday get together. The drunk waitress threatened me and my friends and assaulted me. I tried to descalate an argument and fight with the female bartender by speaking to the manager and nothing was done which lead to an altercation. Overall, no consequences were taken towards the bartender that I know of. This place is very unprofessional.

2019-12-21The menu is very limited. They screwed up my food and it took them 15+ minutes to get a new plate to me. By that time my husband was done with his food and neither one of us wanted to continue to wait for mine. I told them to cxl my order so we could pay our bill and leave. They offered to box it for me which I declined, the guy came out with the food after about 20 minutes as we were paying the bill and they offered again so I said fine. It wasn’t very good. The fries are skinny-if that’s your thing. Except for the location, the decor of this place alone does not look like the type of place that should be charging $9 for a mixed drink. The cutting boards they bring the food on makes it hard for fries to not fall off on to the counter. Not a single thing I liked about this establishment.
