The staff is very friendly, and the stylist did a great job with highlights, but instead of short layers it looks like I have long uneven layers with no blending. I tried to call after my appointment to get it fixed, but couldnt reach anyone.
I booked an appointment to try to get rid of a perm I got almost a year ago and the stylists were SO helpful! They recommended a couple options and gave me the pros and cons of each. I ended up getting a Brazilian Blowout and my hair has never been shinier or smoother!!! I absolutely recommend the salon and Krystal!
I came to Shear Bliss with extremely dry and damaged hair! A year later, my hair is healthy enough to get the blonde color I’ve wanted for so long. They are amazing at what they do!
Lesleigh is a phenomenal hair artist! She has been my hairstylist exclusively for the last six years. No matter what I ask for, she makes my hair beautiful and natural!!! Hannah is AMAZING all around!!! Always listens to what I want and delivers!!! As a military wife we do not always live in the area, but I ALWAYS make an appointment for when I’m in town!!! 100% recommend!

Got a haircut from Destaney and she did an amazing job! She took her time making sure everything was even. I could tell she really listened to what I wanted and needed. I will definitely be going back to see her next time I need another cut!

Channon is amazing. I have thick, curly, long, blonde hair. She highlighted to perfection. As you can see in the photos the cut is fantastic. She was fast and it felt like I had gone to her for years!!
Cindy did a good job. Went to other places that were expensive’er and basically did nothing to my hair. But i could tell Cidny knew what she was doing. My over all experience was great and definitely recommend her for balayage wich was what i got.. will definitely be back

The hair coloring job was amazing, but I am a little unhappy as when I went home I noticed my shirt was ruined from the lightener an/or toner. Like it was everywhere. This should not have happened. I have another appt scheduled for June but not sure if I should even show up at this time. Worst experience I had at a salon and I had high hopes from reading reviews , but stylist was also not the nicest and did not explain things to me at all. :(
So I found this salon by a total freak accident and I am so glad I did. Sydney is absolutely amazing! Love her. She very much lives true to the name the blonde specialist. She completely saved my hair from another stylist I recently seen. The other stylist just ruined the color of my blonde by covering up all my roots with a solid blonde, white, bleach color - it was gross. So I went in to freak out mode in search for someone to fix this horrid of a mess color. Left a happy customer! Im so going back to her. So if you are a blonde and looking for a stylist that knows what shes doing and is just plain awesome, then go to Sydney. You will not be disappointed. (:
Just moved to the area, was looking for a new salon and figured I would give Shear Bliss a try...soo happy that I did! Hannah was absolutely amazing! She did a beautiful job on my cut and color and really listened to what I was asking for. Thrilled that after only one visit I have found my new go to salon and stylist. 🎉
I cannot say enough great things about this salon! Every experience has been amazing! My daughter and I have been going there for years and my husband just recently joined the” looking fabulous club “and also gets his haircut there now. The girls are always very professional,knowledgeable and very kind.Brady has always been so kind to us and helped us in so many situations. This includes help with a teenage girls hair phases ... from the age of 13 to 18 we went from blonde brown green blue/ purple... never skipping a beat Brady has always fixed it with out question.She’s very knowledgeable on what products to use on your hair and what she thinks you should do with you hair. We truly consider her family and all the girls in the salon we consider them friends. We recently moved two hours away from the salon BUT I still only go there! Brady is so worth the drive.I would highly recommend the salon, all the girls are amazing but Brady is my favorite!!!
Shear Bliss hair salon accommodated my 6 bridesmaids, mom, and I for wedding hair styles. The salon is adorable, there is a fun atmosphere, everyone is super sweet, and they did an amazing job at affordable prices. Alicia did an incredible job on my updo. It stayed all day in the Texas heat.
Shear Bliss provides a welcoming, intimate atmosphere. Brady Cosper has been my stylist for the last two years and I trust her with my hair. Shes very knowledgable and loves her job which makes the whole experience a great stress reliever. Whether its just a bang trim or a bigger job, like a balayage, when were finished I feel just as refreshed as my hair looks. I cant recommend this salon enough!
This was my first time here and let me say the hairstylists are so friendly and helpful, really the main reason for the 3 star rating in my opinion. I went in for a cut and color, the color turned out great but the cut was awful. I asked for a lob style haircut and I left with my hair curled so I didnt really see how bad the cut was until I washed and styled my hair myself. It was uneven in the back and my hair was about 1/2 longer in some areas. I had to go back to get my cut semi-fixed by a different stylist. I will not be going back.
I have been getting my hair done at Shear Bliss for about 5 years now and I still drive a hour and a half just to see Lesleigh! All the stylist are very knowledgeable and attend classes/shows regularly to keep learning. The environment is very comfortable and I know I will leave with my hair looking exactly how I wanted it too!
I am more than happy to write a review for this salon! Lesleigh the owner and her staff are super friendly, super affordable and super talented. I have really thick difficult hair and I struggle with keeping it manageable. Lesleigh and Stacia have both worked on my hair, every time I have left I have been happy. I always get tons of compliments on my hair. When I go in there for appointments I feel like I am hanging out with sisters, very warm and personable. I highly recommend this salon, and cant imagine anyone else doing my hair.
Absolutely love this salon!!! Its adorable and got a cozy welcoming feel. Brady is wonderful! She took the time to make sure she knew exactly what I was wanting. She transformed my messy mom bun into a short sassy cut, making me feel like me again.

I’ve been to see Alicia several times and she has always done an amazing job! There isn’t anything that I’ve wanted that she hasn’t figured out how to do and executed it AMAZINGLY! I have really dark and curly hair so for some that may seem like a challenge but it’s never been an issue for Alicia. She really knows her stuff and she will not disappoint if you give her a shot to make your hair dreams come true!

Fabulous! Wonderful customer service! The owner and all the stylist are very pro-education. They are always increasing their knowledge of product and cuts. I would say they are on the cutting-edge of the industry! I have gone to this salon for several years! They are A-1 and top notch! They care about their customers and want them to be happy! Brady was very kind and patient with my 3 year old. She made her first haircut fun and enjoyable. She also did a great job on my hair as well. Very friendly and professional. Definitely will be coming back!
Viviana did a great job on color matching and low lights. She was great at listening to what I wanted. Its her first time with my hair, so Im sure shell learn my cowlicks, preferences, etc. Overall, a great first time with a new stylist.
I used to be a really loyal client until recently I went in to get my hair baylaged the first time just for there to be little to no difference and came in a second time to correct this per the hair stylist contacting me to admit she wasn’t happy with the service outcome and then a third time to keep going lighter however, in doing so the stylist doing my hair left bleach on it for hours each process and ultimately ruined my hair, i have pieces of hair all over my Head that have broken in half due to her negligence and i will never be returning to Shearbliss. thankfully i have found a hairstylist that is taking good care of My hair and protecting its quality now. as a client it’s not unreasonable for someone to trust that there stylist has there hair’s health in mind when performing services especially bleach but apparently that’s not a priority for shear bliss.
Hannah is AWESOME! My daughter and I always request unique and complex hair color styles and she never disappoints! We will definitely keep using her.
I had a friend from school cut my hair and little did I know how bad she was. It was a bad haircut gone wrong. I called Shear Bliss and they told me I could come in immediately. When I got there, an insanely kind lady met me at the front desk, Brady Cosper, and took me to the back. She calmed me down and talked me through my entire breakdown. In the end, I was completely happy with my result and she turned my “bad hair day” into the cutest cut ever!!! I recommend this salon to ANYONE who will have a hair cut gone wrong experience. After moving from Pearland to Belton three years ago, I can honestly say I have found my new Forever Salon! Lesleigh is terrific with both color and cut...not to mention giving great advice when needed. Her team of stylist are all talented and super friendly.
Why do I give Shear Bliss 5 stars, Brady my stylist. She consistently provides an outstanding haircut and I always leave feeling and looking better and thats hard to do because I dont have that much to work with. I always get a shampoo, what a great way to relieve stress.
So thankful I found Sheer Bliss and Lesleigh. She sees my ideas and really works with my hair to make it happen without killing my hair in the process. Shes great with color! The staff is friendly and very welcoming.
It seems like yesterday I walked into a two chair, beauty shop in Academy Texas. Had no idea what I wanted. Lucky for me someone had cancelled and the little gal who worked me in was called Lesleigh. Time flies!! Lealeigh has turned into an amazing businesswoman, who now owns and runs the most prestigious hair salon in Central Texas. Sheer Bliss is located in downtown Belton. I highly recommend you give them a try. Lesleigh and her staff are amazing. If your hair has been overprocessed or damaged, give them a chance. Each stylist has mastered hair shaping, coloring, and highlighting. The shop is very friendly and the minute you walk in the door you will feel right at home. It doesn’t seem possible but Lesleigh’s been doing my hair for the last 15 years. She is just the best!
My wife has been ill for some time. Shes been wanting to get her hair done and frustrated that she hasnt been able to. Well, last week she had a good day. I couldnt believe how good she was doing. So she asked if it would be okay if we went by to see if they had an opening. They did and took her right back.We had seen a movie recently called Twisted with Ashley Judd, and my wife really liked her hairstyle. So I looked it up on my phone and took it to the beautician. She tells me they were just talking about that style.I went back to the waiting room and had a cup of coffee.When my wife came out, she had the exact style as Ashley Judd had in the movie. What a beautiful cut for my beautiful lady.Theyre not just beauticians, theyre artistic beauticians. My wife has an anxiety disorder, but she felt comfortable and at ease there.Im just a guy who notices quality craftsmanship. So this is where Ill be taking my wife from now on.
Absolutely love coming to Brady ever 6-8 weeks!! We have created such an amazing friendship even out of the salon! I always feel welcome when waking into the shop and you feel like everyone’s client when you walk through the door. Couldn’t have found a better hair salon! Cozy salon with great hair care. Sharla is the best for curly hair! (Took me 10 years to find someone my last move. Sharla was my first pick here and shes been wonderful!)
I went in with thick beautiful flowing hair. I take very good care of my hair. My stylist was no longer there and they told me that they would listen to what I wanted. I said I wanted a 1/4 inch trimmed off my hair and thinned it out. I came our with about 3 inches of part of my front and she cut way to far into my hair in front and did not blend my hair at all. So now I have no movement in my hair and it feels very stiff. I have no way I can fix it. I pray that it grows back before Christmas. I will never go back there again.

2022-02-25I found this salon in 2016 and havent looked back. My hair ALWAYS comes out looking fly. I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by the owner, Lesleigh, during my last visit and I was seriously impressed. I tried growing my grays out for a while to see how they would look (before pic) but decided I needed a change. I have my first baby on the way and wanted a new color (RED ❤) and style for my preggi pics 🤰🏽I LOVE my hair! It is super fun and looks gorgeous any way I style it (curly, straight, hot rollers/big curling iron). Also, the girls there are nice and accommodating. Also, the owner really cares about making your experience a great one. It was the first time she (Lesleigh) did my hair. Every time I would see her in the salon, she always seemed happy and upbeat. This time I was able to talk to her for a while and, honestly, she is one of the nicest people I have met. She treated me like a friend, and she knows her stuff. Seriously, contact Shear Bliss and schedule an appointment. You wont be disappointed. 💇🏽♀️

2022-04-13I had such a great experience at Shear Bliss! I told them what I wanted and they gave me exactly that! The stylist I used was extremely professional. She gave suggestions to find a hairstyle to compliment my face. I love the results from their suggestions of colors! The red with highlights is beautiful. She ensured the color combo would compliment my face and not wash it out. I highly recommend this shop! I will definitely continue to come back! Plus the pricing was perfect! Thank you!

2022-04-27Shear Bliss is truly amazing ! I just went recently for my first time to get my roots retouched by Destaney and she did an amazing job , not only was she so kind and welcoming but so was all the other people working! I just bought my 22 inch Halo extension from this salon. When i got them the owner was kind enough to sit me down in her styling chair and show me how to wear the Halo extensions and inform me about how to style and wash them. Very clean, beautiful, professional salon I HIGHLY recommend 😊

I also wanted to give a star rating.I called Shear Bliss for the first time yesterday looking for help with correcting choppy, uneven layers. Im so happy I called! I was able to make an appointment and come in later that day. When I arrived, I had a warm, friendly greeting from hairstylist Brynli and she took me back to see what we could do. I really appreciated Brynlis sweet and professional disposition throughout the entire appointment. She started by blended and texturizing the layers, which made a huge difference. I looked so much better than when I walked in. I decided I wouldnt mind going shorter and we took off another couple of inches. Im so pleased with how my hair turned out!I typically cut my hair 1 - 2 times a year and get a little turned off by salons that are pushy and pressure clients into booking future appointments. I didnt have to worry about that at Shear Bliss. Brynli reassured me that I could come back when Im ready. I think I finally found a hair salon that I feel comfortable returning to. Thank you, Brynli, for helping me look and feel my best.

2022-07-06I highly recommend Channon Cooper at Sheer Bliss. She is pleasant, patient, informative and great at what she does. I went out on a limp with something different. I showed her some pictures, she asked some questions and then I basically left it up to her to do her magic. This was my first time seeing her but it won’t be my last. Thank you, Channon - I’ll definitely be back!

2021-06-15I was very excited about getting my first balayage ever. Sidney was very nice and professional but I didnt like the resulting color of my balayage. I explicitly requested ash blonde colors, but ,as you can see, the result was orange-ish and I dont like those tones. My hair looks brassy and Im totally disappointed with this result.

2022-07-12I had a color correction service with Destaney Norman, I went from a bright red to a natural brown. She was very patient, friendly, and process oriented. She was incredible 5/5 would recommend.

Her hair and makeup looked absolutely stunning and stayed in place all night long and her cathedral length veil didn’t hurt her hair - thank you for the mini lesson on how to put it in & remove it !!I also get my hair cut and colored here and they do a phenomenal job ! This place is sooooo beautifully decorated - it has a very eclectic vibe and feels like home because everyone is so friendly, welcoming, & helpful !
