Place is very nice to stay. Very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the beds are so nice! Highly recommend a Do Not Disturb sign as housekeeping is very aggressive and persistent and can not take a hint that the room does not need to be cleaned. If you do not plan to sleep past 9, I would either make a little note and stick it on the door or ask the front desk to make you one. Speaking from personal experience, housekeeping attempted to clean the room twice in the morning before I left to go pick up my significant other in the afternoon the same day and came back to all of our stuff moved. The room was cleaned, but housekeeping did it in such a sneaky manner, the gesture was upsetting. Highly recommend a do no disturb sign! Other than the maids, I have enjoyed the stay.
Checked in to this hotel on 12/21/21 while traveling from GA to CA. Looked over the room and checked the mattress for bugs. Didnt see anything bad at this point. Checked on 12/22/21 early in the morning around 2:30/3AM. Gathered up the sheets and noticed multiple huge dried up blood stains on the mattress. They have been there a while and they never got rid of the mattress. Very unsanitary sleeping conditions. Reported it to the front desk clerk, showed her the pictures I took and asked to be contacted by a manager about this. No manager called me so I called back and was never able to speak with a manager. Its been 3 days and still havent spoken with a manager. And on top of the sleeping on a blood stained mattress, they charged me for 2 days when I only stayed one. This is a horrible establishment that does not take health and safely seriously. Would not recommend for anyone to stay here.
First met disgruntled desk clerk who did not want to be there. I checked in at 7:00 PM and immediately went to dinner before going to room. When I returned I went into hotel from side door and noticed how bad the condition of the hotel was from the inside. I was surprised because the outside looked relatively ok. I made it to the room and found out that it was never cleaned from the night before. I went down to the desk clerk to ask for another room and was told that all that was left were smoking rooms. I said no to that and asked for my money back. She agreed to refund but said it would take 7 days to credit my account. She did say that she was sorry for the situation. Regardless, I was forced to find an alternative lodging situation at 9:00 PM on a Saturday night. I found it across the I-20 at the Hampton Inn. The Hampton folks told me they get customers coming to them all the time after their experience at the Sleep Inn. Many are refused refunds once they discover the condition of their room and are willing to pay for another room at the Hampton Inn instead of staying the night at the Sleep Inn. Buyer beware. Avoid like the plague.
They donβt like you using reward nights and will not upgrade you. The room was not very clean. The TV was tiny and blurry. Not your typical Choice Hotel experience. Seemed like owners were just saving money and didnβt care about the guest. The bed was comfortable.
Positive: Friendly staff. Negative: I had 2 rooms the first was dirty and the door didnt close and the second one was even dirtier and the hotel double book our room so some one actually came into my room in the middle of the night. Needless so say worst rooms ever.
Everything broken or falling off couldnt read the thermostat sad thing is the staff new about all broken or loose falling off things. Ice machine didnt work on our floor vending machine sold out of mostly all selections. The people upstairs apparently dont sleep at night and walk very hard or walls and floors are very thin.
I have been trading there for the past few days as front desk the manager was very nice to me I had no problem with her but the other girl shelby was a different story she was training me and some of the stuff she did was not professional at all and I could tell she didnt like her job and she was just a negative person if I would of trained with the manager I feel like I would have learned a lot more and I would of wanted to stay
Travelers beware!!!! Currently in my room feeling disappointed. After 12 hours of travel my family could not take a shower due to a clogged bathtub. Requesting a new room seemed like an appropriate fix but contacting management was useless because we received a hard no. It was late and traveling with several children isnt easy so we had no where to go. The young lady at the desk was awesome and is working for the wrong hotel chain. The hotel is dated but not bad for a quick stay. If you want to take baths in the sink during Covid after several gas stations and restroom breaks with kids, this place is perfect for you!
I stayed here 9/16-9/18/21. Upon checking in, the staff who greeted me was very friendly. However, although there is a prominent sign on the entrance stating that masks must be worn, not a single person (from staff to guests) wore masks in the hotel during my entire stay. When I got into my room, I immediately noticed that it was outdated and had some elements that seemed run down (e.g., stains on carpet, pieces of molding missing, corner of the minifridge taped up, rips in the shower curtain, etc.), and things that just did not seem clean (dust caking up the air conditioner, dust over items in the bathroom like the ice bucket and coffee machine), but not enough to say I was disgusted or needed to leave. I then noticed a dead roach in the corner of the room near the door. I called the front desk to complain and ask to change rooms, but she told me there werent any other rooms available. I was travelling to visit a sick relative and had incurred significant expense to travel short notice, so I did not have the ability to pick up and change my hotel. Later, I noticed another dead roach in the closet. Then, before going to bed, I killed a live roach I saw crawling on the wall. I have never stayed in a hotel with pests, so this was a compete shock and disgusting. Other aspects of our stay were unpleasant, including stained sheets and stained towels. The hotel provides a hot breakfast which was basic quality but sufficient (waffles, breakfast meats, eggs, cereal, yogurt, breads, fruit, coffee, juices from concentrate), but concerns about cleanliness may make you want to stay away from it. Staff were overall pleasant (one front desk woman was more helpful than the other who I asked if she could send room service up, and room service never came so we had dirty towels and garbage pilign up in our room). I also do not think the hotel is in a good location. It is on the opposite side of the highway from where all the other hotels are clustered, so it feels very isolated. I would definitely not come back.
Check in is supposed to be at 2pm, however, as I was on my way, I received a call at 1:50 that check in is delayed until 5:00pm! The room was not sanitary clean! The toilet overflowed after the first flush and it took over 3 hours to get a staff member to clean it but do NOT!!! They brought new towels but I ended up having to clean the bathroom! Using my can of Lysol to clean, your toilet and bathroom floor changed a previous white rag to a grayish brown color! These rooms are horrible! Cheap beds that give you a backache from the springs jabbing you! A tiny 32β TV for a 6 person room and a loveseat that must have been picked up on the side of the road! The elevator was super slow and very small! The eggs and sausage were so salty it was not edible and no milk & cereal as an option! To make this experience even worse, the manager double charged my credit card and was not able to fix it until 4 days later!
Terrible stench in room 207. Booked two nights, but the horrible smell made me leave after one night. Agoda refused to cancel the 2nd night. It smelled like something died in room 207. Ive never had to throw away $100 on bad hotel before. You do not want to stay here. This was the second room they put me in. The 1st room had a broken toilet that wouldnt stop making loud noise. Cannot trust Sleep Inn.
Positive: Simple quiet place no fuss no muss. PLace was reported as full but was STILL quiet. No problem with parking. Huge value for the dollar relative to other options in Abilene. You get an indoor hotel ( room doors open into a hallway not the outside). Negative: Its a tough business to provide decent accomodation at a reasonable price. So this option does very well overall. Might upgrade desk chairs and focus on fresh fruit and milk at breakfast, but they would need to raise prices to do it most likely. No worry
My card was charged a extra $100 for a accidental hold that was not refunded, i booked through a 3rd party app so they had absolutely no reason to charge my card. I called the location for 3 weeks after my stay to get answers as they told me the manger Cindy is the only person who could help me. After finally getting in contact with Cindy she was the most rude person Iβve ever talked to in a management position. She over talked me the whole time and wouldnβt listen to anything I had to say before finally hanging up in my face without answering any of my questions would not recommend this place for anybody to stay canβt believe they have such a unprofessional person representing their business, I would give no stars if I could.
The room was ok, smelled weird, but it was a one night stay. The pool, however, was growing black mold. Disgusting!!!Hotel staff was terrible on the following morning. No offer to help. No one was checking the food to see if anything needed refilled, which it did. They just sat and kept chatting with each other. 2 employees came to ask, who seemed to be the manager, a question and she did not immediately attend to them either. She just kept sitting and chatting with the other ladies. She didnβt even get out of her chair when guests were exiting. She just yelled at them to βleave the cards on the counterβ.The hotel is run down. Smells. And the staff is lazy. Coffee was not good. Breakfast was lame.I would never stay here again. Ever.
It was kept clean and the customer service was delightful! The shower was a unique design. The a.c did not stay cold for an extended period of time but it happened on the last night. I would stay here again and recommend it for others and may bring my dog next time since they are pretty friendly :)
The hotel lobby and rooms were clean, but the stairwells were dirty. The staff was friendly but would concerned with parking if the entire hotel was filled to capacity. The location was close to the event I was there to attend. The shower/tub was clean and water nice and hot. overall a pleasant stay.
Positive: The only good thing about this hotel is that it was fairly easy to get to. Negative: My room was dirty, the telephone didnt work and the front desk clerk just shrugged when I told him. The bed was a lumpy hammock that gave me a sore back and 4 hours of sleep. My worst hotel experience ever.
This place has changed so much! They are notrequired to wear a uniform of any kind nor a name tags! Wearing bleached stained clothes that I wouldnt wear in public! Desk girl day time saying she gonna make her motel a dog free motel!! She is just an employee!! The place was so dusty I couldnt breathe!!On a higher note the night clerk was very friendly ,polite and professionalAnd the swimming pool was absolutely disgusting! First time I have ever seen it that disgusting!! Even in the winter time!!Im sure we will stay else next time we are in Abilene!
The beds and pillows were super soft! They have coffee in the room as well as in the cafe inside the motel! The rooms come complete with a fridge and a microwave. They are warm and clean! The front desk people were very sweet and helpful too! They were also better priced. I think I found my Second Favorite Hotel Chain!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sleep Inn in Abilene, Texas. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Friendly Desk workers. We had the best host for breakfast, her name was Sara. Danny gave us direction to a restaurant. Miranda & Cindy at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. You can tell they all like their jobs. We will be back. Love it.
The hotel staff at check in were wonderful and I almost gave it three stars for that alone, but there was no staff to be found at checkout and the hotel was very lacking. Old hotel and not the most clean, my hotel room door was open when I arrived which made me very uncomfortable, stains on the comforter cover that looks like they did not wash it, the shower would not get hot (I left it running over 15 min) and one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the laundry facilities, but the laundry room reeked of mildew and the dryer was out of order so I did not get to do laundry.
Easy to find hotel. I specifically requested non-smoking/non-pet room and received just that. The hotel is clean and the staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The couch looked kind of worn, but my husband said sitting on it was fine. We had a nice, hot breakfast. In fact the staff went back and made more eggs and bacon for my husband and when it came out she made sure the bacon was how he liked it. They were very friendly chatting with the guests. Only downfall is they have a LARGE hump in their driveway and a semi truck was stuck in the driveway. All the guests had to drive onto the sidewalk and grass to get into the lot. The front desk says this happens a lot. If thats the case, they should have a sign at the beginning of the long driveway warning them to pull in elsewhere.Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Front desk was very friendly room was relatively clean although I found something on toilet seat I had to wipe off yuckIβm a rewards member now I remember why I donβt stay here much. This a newly built hotel things could have been better tv did not work someone unplugged H d m I cable. Come on housekeeping take a little pride in your job
My wife and I flew in from Sacramentoto Dallas,Tx and then drove 2 1/2 hours to Abilene with the expectation that we would arrive at the hotel and check and relax after a long day of traveling π₯Ί. We checked in and headed to our room to find no sheets on our bed. No bedding at all just bare mattress. The room also smelled old and musty. We went back downstairs and informed the front desk. Instead of getting someone to check the room and deal with it they handed us a stack of sheets to do it ourselves. We went back to the room and then decided to cancel the reservation due to the condition of the room and the response we received when we notified them. We were informed at the time of cancelation that our card would not be charged for anything. 3 days later we had a charge of $95.00 on our account. We are currently trying to get a refund for this. No resolution as of yet. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, hassle free place to stay.
There housekeeping wasnt keeping up with cleaning rooms so people can get rooms. The amount of animals in this hotel was crazy. That I swear I had flea bites when I woke up. The animals were noisy. People coming in at 2am been very loud. And not Internet. And they wouldnt fix my TV.
I was told I could check in at 2:00 I arrived there at 5:00 after driving 4 hours and they me and others that the rooms were not ready because the owner had allowed a group of musicians to stay longer than the check out time. They sent me know notice of this. They would not cancel my reservation so I could go to another site. I will never stay at one of your hotels again. Im sure you dont care but I will Post it on social media.
I have stayed here twice before, mainly because they are pet friendly. We did not have our pets this time, but I already had a reservation so we stayed there anyway. Its a great location. The desk clerk was less than helpful when we called (room phones out; had to use cell), but I chalk this up to times are tough; its hard to find good help. Anyway, its clean enough, but youre on your own if you have a question about anything.
1. We had to sign a, no smoking, waiver. Then we were put in two rooms that reeked of cigarette smoke and had an ashtray. We were told that this happens frequently when rooms are reserved on line.We were give new rooms.2. The new rooms had water in the tubs.3. One room had groceries in the fridge.4. The same room, 315, had a toilet that got easily clogged. We were given a plunger and basically had to use it after every flush.
Booked through a 3rd party that Iβve used for years with no problems.. The room that I booked said 1 thing & when we got to the room it was different. When I showed the clerk my email confirmation that clearly states 2 beds, the clerk called βCindyβ presumably upper management for permission & βCindyβ allowed the change with a $20 upgrade fee. It may be only $20 but itβs itβs the principle of the matter. I asked to speak with her but she wouldnβt speak with me but called the desk clerk back to see if I was still standing there and told her to call her back when I walked off. It was absolutely so unprofessional. I also might add this Is first negative review Iβve ever written. There were several other things that were less than desirable but the rude upper management & unexpected upgrade fee are my biggest complaints.
Was given a room that had not been cleaned and was a mess, had to wait to get switched to a clean room. Hotel staff did not wear face masks or take any safety precautions. Water pressure in bathroom and shower was abysmal. Did not have high expectations, but was an unpleasant experience.
Attention all military becareful leaving anything worth anything to you in room. My daughter just stayed here for a military trianing she had locally. And she had money come up missing they took it out her stuff and took the money. So I called the manager and she said I looked at video no one other than my head house keeper went in. And she returns everything she finds. Well my daughter didnt loose it it was stolen. Two differnt things so she saw one person walk in so that is some easy math. She took it!.
This was a very bad stay, we reserved a 2 bed room for 4 and got a key to the wrong room, walked in on someone else in bed. Got a different room and it was a king bed. Asked for a double like we reserved and was told there was nothing they could do. We did not sleep comfortable at all. Got a rollout cot that was very uncomfortable.
Amazing hotel! I am super picky with my hotels and do lots of research before picking one. Was very hesitant about staying here, but we loved it. Check in/out was super easy. Staff was friendly. Rooms were big and clean. Bathrooms werent claustrophobic feeling. A/c was nice and cold. And good variety of breakfast items. We will definitely stay here again.
The facility is so so, about standard was far as Choice Hotels go. I was placed on the third floor and later told the entire third floor is smoking. I ended having to stay another day in Abilene however I decided to stay at a Hampton Inn in town. 10 bucks more and better quality and clean. I was also put off that none of the staff were wearing face makes even though there were signs posted all over the building. During a pandemic I expect a greater care for the community.
Came into town on a Friday evening, and checked out Saturday morning. Family trip, 2 adults, 1 kid under 5 and 1 dog last minute addition., Luckily the hotel allows pets for a minimal 25 dollar fee. That is nice. The pool needed a bit of updating/cleaning but was still used by entire family [but not the dog! lol]. Towels from the front desk available. Overall the stay was nice, bed was comfortable, enjoyed having the sofa in the room as well. Big desk table along wall was good to have to put lots of stuff on [again family with dog so we had lots of stuff]. Bathroom was nice, large walk in shower, good supply hot water. Breakfast was the general kind but did have some hot items, the bacon was really good actually. And they have 2 waffle irons, one round and a Texas shaped one for those that really care about their waffles lol. Staff when we entered was really nice. Would stay here again if coming into town.
I was going to rate it 2.5 stars, but rounded up since there are no half points. The hotel looked pretty from the outside, the hallways were clean but had a bad smell every time we entered them. The room was pretty, with a nice sitting area with a couch, but the TV mounted on the wall that served both the sleeping area & the sitting area was very small & hard to view from one of the beds & the couch. The queen beds were firm, ok to sleep on the first night, but by the second & 3rd nights, I was aching all over upon awakening. The sheet was much too small for the bed & the comforter(?) was small as well & heavy & hard to manage with 2 people. The pillows were good though. The bathroom was very spacious, lots of counter space & had enough towels & washcloths for all 4 of us; provided enough bar soaps & had a coffee-maker & cups. Also had a fridge & microwave in the bedroom. There was a spot in the sitting area that smelled really bad, like someone vomited. The pool & pool area were clean. Breakfast was not good & didnt have a good variety compared to other hotels with free breakfast that weve been to; powdered scrambled eggs very mushy, bacon very greasy. However, the waffles were great; but unfortunately they ran out of batter this morning, our last day there.
We will stay there again. The hotel was very clean and pretty accommodating. It was a great location for us for the college we were visiting. Very well light up at night and the outside appearance was pretty nice. The pool was not what we had hoped for. It was a little dirty and very warm (mainly leaves and bugs) and the hot tub is not a hot tub. But we didnt spend much time there anyway. The breakfast was pretty good for a Choice Hotel. The worst part of this hotel was that the hall ways were extremely hot and the carpet in the halls were very dingy and stained. The room was nothing like that so of course I did not complain. For the price I paid, it was all worth staying there again. What persuaded me to come back was the gentleman that worked the front desk. He made us feel very welcomed and took an interest in how we were doing everyday we were there. We will definitely being staying there again.
With other area hotels booked, we decided to try Sleep Inn. We were a little worried about the quality of the hotel, but when we showed up we were pleasantly surprised! The common areas and rooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, but we all found something we enjoyed. It was a very busy weekend, and they were prepared and ready when we checked in. The price was more than fair for area hotels, and we will be staying here again!
The location was easy to get to, very quiet also. This is a generic hotel but for the price that is what I expected. Very friendly staff when we arrived, checked in within minutes. Hotel room was small but very clean. Bathroom was clean, but shower head leaked and had a little mildew in the shower. Didnt even have to check out! They left my receipt under my door early in the morning, just had to drop the key off and leave. The breakfast was much better than I expected it to be. My daughter even said they had the best waffles she has ever had. I will be staying there again.
It was a relatively nice hotel for the price. We had some issues with cleanliness. For example, there was some long black hair on the walls of our shower that had been missed in the room cleaning between our stay and that of the previous tenant. However, the breakfast was well stocked and the staff was friendly.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The room decor is nice and fresh looking. The showers never lacked for hot water. While it is close enough to the highway to be convenient, it is far enough away and is positioned in a way to have minimal noise from the road. The staff is friendly and offers assistance quickly and with a smile.
This hotel was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The room was a good size, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of food provided. The instant coffee out of the machine was terrible, better make yourself a cup in the room.
The hotel was clean and updated, and we found the room and beds to be clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was substandard, but at least the shower head allowed streams of water rather than the mist produced by some shower heads. The breakfast was good. There was a nice variety of items and we found the hot items, to be cooked properly and tasty. Check in and check out were easy with no problems. I forgot my toothbrush and shave cream. The front desk promptly provided a toothbrush, but the shave cream was horrible, some dry condensed product in a packet that never lathered upon application. Overall a nice experience and we will be back when in Abilene.
The Sleep Inn hotel is located great for my visits to my grandson at ACU. The staff are extremely friendly and served my needs well. The room was ample with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed staying on the first floor, which usually doesnt happen for me. The room was clean. On Saturday, I was a bit surprised that the towels were replenished, but the bed was not made. I would suggest that a larger dining area with more chairs and tables replace the area used now. I ate no breakfast on Satirday because there was no place to sit. Other than these two very minor complaints, I will recommend your hotel and I will stay there each time I am in Abilene. Great job!
Check in to the hotel was easy with a reservation. The hotel rooms were accommodating, spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was satisfying for a complimentary meal. The only flaw was the wireless internet was very spotty/slow. Other than that, the hotel had a pool that is open seasonally. Overall, this hotel provided a satisfying experience for my overnight stay
I didnβt stay but long enough to take a shower. My friend payed 2 nights for me because my water main line busted at home during the freeze last week.I did encounter a very unfriendly staff member who seemed to be checking rooms. Never once smoke it said hello. I Alexis to all employees to be polite & courteousl. So I chose not to stay .Then my friends card was charged twice , so she called just to enquire about the Dble charge. Ms. Cindy ( the general manager) thought it to be professional to over talk , belittle , and accuse my friend of fraud. This behavior is unacceptable in every form . She should be fired or demoted. Now the room was great ( only one towel of each in there. It didnβt feel alive or welcoming tho...
I received a call early in the day saying they needed to switch my room from a double bed to a Handicap suite due to overbooking. I went along with it. After checking in they gave me the worst smelling room ever!!!! It was so bad that i had to ask for my money back and find another hotel at the last minute since it was late and a major tournament going on. First they didnβt want to refund me but she finally did.
We stayed here as our mid way point from West Monroe, LA to El PAso. We called and explained we would probably not arrive until around 3AM. The young lady explained we would need to arrive before 345am to keep the room. Well we were on the road and had no control over the time it was taking us. She was not the most friendly person. However, when we arrived at 245am the young man stated I was wandering if you were still coming. So apparently the late arrival never was communicated to him. I explained yes sir we are here just tired. He was super friendly and very accommodating. Went to the room and was very pleased. Room was super comfortable and very spacious for the 4 of us and my dog. The breakfast was good and the attendant was very friendly. I would use this hotel again as my midpoint based upon the young man the checked us in and the comfort and quality of the room. Enjoyed stay overall.
This hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool is a neat shape and was great for kids. The only issue we had was they did not have any pillows for us to use on the pull out sofa sleeper in our room. Breakfast was good and hot-they even have a waffle iron that makes Texas shaped waffles.
I asked for an early check-in and although I wasnt able to get a room as early as I had requested, I understood that it was not a guarantee. They were accommodating to get a room cleaned quickly. The room was very nice but the bed, oh my, the bed was magnificent! It was so comfy I thought I might have to take up residence there! Overall, the stay was great, staff very friendly and I will stay there again.
Upon checking in I realized I accidentally chose a smoking room instead of non-smoking. I was told there were no more non-smoking king rooms available and had to move to a suite...which was $30+ more than my original reservation. Disappointed that smoking rooms are even an option but whatever. The AC wasnt working and when I told front desk, they tried to give suggestions on how to get it to work (turn the fan on instead of auto...use the actual AC unit to change the temp instead of the thermostat on the wall) but I told them that I doubt it would help, that because Im 6 months pregnant and its in the middle of summer I needed a room with AC. They promptly gave us a new room but it had a very odd smell to it. The bed was comfortable but the comforter on the bed wasnt impressive. The water pressure on the shower was perfect though. Probably wont stay here again in the future as I could have found a king room in a nicer hotel for the same price. The only reason I didnt was because I had relatives staying on the property as well.
Clean and nice, price was ok. Lost two stars for lacking a bathtub, weird shower design that didnt allow for hot and cold water at the same time, and the sliver thin blanket that was more of a sheet. The front desk staff was nice and gave us an extra blanket though.
I have stayed at this location 10+ times in last year and many previous times since its opening. This is a great value for overnight stays. It is not a luxury stay, but you cant beat the cleanliness or the polite and helpful staff. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and I have only had one room with a bed that was not up to standards. The only problem Ive really ever had is the wireless signal is frequently weak at times.
We were in town for our daughters graduation from one of the local universities, and stayed here. This property is at the top end of the scale for Choice Hotels, and we have stayed here before with no complaints. Its clean, quiet, and has free breakfast. What more could you ask. I will say the elevator was extremely slow, and the coffee cups at the breakfast area were smaller than what I like. So, no big problems at all here.
I stayed here for a night when my mom came to visit me the staff seemed very nice. Breakfast, I thought tasted alright. There was plenty to go around. The room seemed very clean. The shower confused me. It was walking into a stone tile cubby, maybe a like a walk in closet size and one side was to shower and the other just ended in a nook on the other side. However I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel was new and looked very nice. However, for a new hotel there were issues with equipment. We knew of other complaints of equipment not working and in our case the wall thermostat did not work, therefore we could not control the air conditioning. It did get warm in the room and if the temp was any higher, we would have requested a new room. I am not so sure that other people would have tolerated the temp. I would expect more fro a new facility. The desk clerk did a very good job with dealing with the various problems throughout the night. the breakfast was very good.
Very clean and cozy rooms. Look new/newly renovated. Spacious too. Everything was working and looked well maintained. Parking lot was under construction. Im a neat freak and a bargain hunter. I was pleased. By the way, we were traveling west and passed a huge cluster of hotels and restaurants on the right. This is a half mile further on the left all by itself which is probably why its cheaper. Im fine with that. Only a 5 minute drive to eat and the room was like $25 cheaper than the rest.
Upon walking into the hotel it appeared clean, well maintained and smelled fresh. The staff was attentive and we were promptly checked in. Very happy with the rate. Comfy beds, plenty of space in the room, plenty of fresh towels, no problems whatsoever. If Im in the area again we will definitely stay here.
I was kind of reluctant to book this hotel since it was so cheap, but was much nicer than I expected. Nice staff greeted us when we arrived. The room was very clean, but small. The bathroom was clean but the shower has a little mildew since the shower head leaked. Breakfast was much better than I expected and checkout was so easy! We will stay here again.
This is a great place to stay when visiting Abilene. With its easy on and off Highway 20 and its close proximity to Hardin-Simmons and Abilene Christian make it a great choice. The rooms are nicely appointed, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is hot. We have stayed here a couple of times and are always pleased.
The Sleep Inn in Abilene is one of the less expensive hotels and there is a reason why. I had a disappointing stay there. Upon checking in, I requested a room away from the outdoor exit, but was placed on the first floor right next to the door. The front desk employee did not seem to care and was seldom at the desk. Every time I saw her she was outside the front doors smoking. The air freshener used in the lobby and halls was extremely strong, making me wonder what smell was being covered up.The room was okay, however, the bed was not very comfortable. My advice is to pay the extra money and stay at a different hotel.
This hotel is very nice for a moderately priced hotel. Clean, new, good breakfast items, friendly service. My only complaint is that when booking the hotel, we were told pets were welcome but were not informed about a $25 per pet room fee. Of course we paid the fee, but would have preferred to have all fees listed when the room was booked.
We checked in late and were really tired. We got the kids ready for bed and I went into the bathroom to get myself ready for bed and when I went to shut the door I notice a large pile of hair behind it. So I was a little concerned about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. I didnt complain, I knew the hotel was full and I thought maybe the maid was in a hurry and missed a spot. But then when I went to bathe my son the next morning, I felt soap scum on the tub. So gross! Had to give him a sponge bath. When we came back to the room later, it had been cleaned better. Maybe it was just a rare occurrence, but we probably wont stay there again.
While the room temperature took well over an hour and a half to warm up enough to become acceptable to relax, shower and get to sleep; and the phones not working in my own room caused me great concern all night for my elderly parents who were staying on the other end of the hall from me, I will acknowledge that the breakfast the next morning was, by far, the Best I have ever experienced at any Choice Hotel stay before. Kudos to your staff who handled the cooking/serving/maintenance of your breakfast bar! The eggs did not even need to have any salt or pepper added, the bacon was well done and crispy, the potatoes were perfectly prepared and seasoned, and the simple availability of the blueberry waffle batter was a sheer delight. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, knowing that I may want to call ahead to have the rooms warmed up in advance if its another cold temperature day/night in which I will be arriving.
Management is horrible! Its better to speak with the regular clerks. I had questions about charges on my card and called in. Cindy is the manager. She was rude and very disrespectful. I will not support a business that treats people of color like this. I will never stay at this property again or recommend it to others.
Excellent very clean hotel! The beds were very comfortable. Hotel was quite and staff very helpful with any request. Breakfast bar was full stocked and kept stocked way past the normal time due to the number of guest still stopping in to eat breakfast. The lady working the breakfast bar kept close watch on items and restocked asap when checked.
I knew that we would be driving to our destination and decided to make this town our stop the first night. So, I went online to see what was available at a good price. I did read the reviews and by paying ahead, I was able to get a fabulous price that included breakfast. That was a win-win in my book. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and it met our needs perfectly. A great travel choice.
It was nice, it was clean and comfortable, breakfast was limited but still had a couple of items, shower chair was not really sturdy ac was cold and the price was not to bad considering you had a nice clean room and cold ac it didnt smell the hallways didnt smell either overall it was quite comfortable
Great place to stay will definitely stay here again the staff was very nice. The rooms were quite bed were comfortable. The shower were very nice water got good and hot. I really loved the stay the breakfast in the morning was good it was fresh coffee was great the check out was easy... My friends and I will be here again.....
The hotel is basically a new property. We had a glitch with the room door latch. A minor adjustment to be repaired. The bed was very comfortable. The surprise we experienced was a large walk in tiled shower. Great as long as you do not want or need a bathtub. That could be a challenge for bathing kids. The breakfast was decent. Waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon along with the normal cereals, pastries, juices and coffee. Better than expected for the price.
I stayed at this hotel for the first time during my trip. My travel time is not normal compare to others due to late driving and late check ins are my norm. I did contact the hotel to make sure my reservation was still available due to me arriving after midnight. The lady I talked to was nice and assured me that my reservation was still good. When I arrived they had already had my room assigned to me with the key ready and stored in a pocket on the wall for the person when I check in. The lady that checked me in reset my key to make sure that I wouldnt have any issue getting into my room. She also let me know what the times for breakfast was and where to elevators were. My room was clean and comfortable I have a good night sleep and enjoyed the breakfast that was that morning before I finished my drive to midland, TX.
Hotel was ok. The price was not what I was expecting as stay in 4 star hotels the day before and the next day, we paid more at this site. The front desk rep was nice, Ace. He let us see the room first before paying. The white ford truck in parking lot was suspicious. A few kids still playing at all hours of the night so I slept lightly. And bark from a dog.
The room was very clean and well organized, the staff was friendly they however had no goodie bag for the Elite Diamond members. The Internet was absolutely terrible. I asked the evening staff about the lack of Internet and she couldnt do anything about it. Being this was for business, if it were for more than a night I wouldve checked right back out and moved to the Best Western across the way. Having a good quality Internet connection is essential for a bussness traveler.I left before breakfast was served and didnt use the fitness center so I cant comment on them.
I would give no star if I could. First of all, cleanliness was an issue. There was a bunch of hair in the shower drain and dried up soup dots on the shower wall, disgusting! Hair dryer was so dirty. I went to bed with wet hair. The astonishing thing is that the front desk guy Ace called the cops on me when he decided not to allow the late check out I clearly requested in my reservation, which I made 4 days prior, and asked them to call me ASAP if it cant not be accommodated. Nobody ever called me nor was anything mentioned upon checking in at 3am. I spend a lot of time traveling. First time running into something like this. I mean to get threatened with an arrest for staying at a hotel for a couple of hours longer??!! Speechless.
I have come to trust this brand of hotel, but this experience taught me that one hotel does not necessarily equal another. My stay, outside of the beds being very comfortable, was a nightmare. For being only 4-5 years old, it is on a scale of hotels that are 20-25 years old.The hotel staff upon initial check-in, was rude, didnt acknowledge my membership status, and the room was a complete disaster. Towels bars and dresser drawers falling apart, toilet running all night, were some of the happenings during this stay.I warn people to think twice before staying here.
We had a handicapped room that was large and had a sitting area which was very nice to have. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was the walk in shower. Once you showered the bathroom floor had water everywhere and it is difficult to dry up if you are unable to bend well.
Booked due to proximity to HSU. Was convenient, as opposed to other places weve booked in the past. Small repairs needed to curtains, closet door that wouldnt stay shut. Hide a bed was not working right, roll a way was atrocious to sleep on. Clean and good breakfast. Staff was very good. Price was definitely good value.
Nice staff and clean rooms. Was just traveling through. Stopped to get a little rest. Hotel is fairly new. Rates were reasonable. The person at front desk was so nice and helpful, even though it was 1:30 in the morning. Will stay again next time Im traveling this way.
I dont think the lived-in look of my first room was necessarily Housekeepings fault. I think someone had probably checked in and, for whatever reason, checked out a short time later. My desk clerk had reported to work only a few minutes before I arrived, so I suspect the previous desk clerk may have failed to leave a note indicating that the room should not be assigned to another guest. The problem with the television in my second room just added to my overall disappointment. These are not big problems, but Ive gotten used to having much better experiences at your properties.
Hotel has been great in the past but most recent stay was less then good. Shower didnt work so no morning shower to start the day, phone didnt work to call front desk and let them know either. Manager Cindy sent an apology which was a joke since it was the normal email Ive gotten from other Choice hotels when they have had issues and I spoke up. No care or concern for guest and nothing to make it right, VERY DISAPPOINTED in the manager and room on this trip, Ill think twice before wasting my money at her motel again.
Overall, the hotel was lovely. I live only an hour and a half from Abilene, and needed somewhere to stay just for the one night, and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the hotel was. Only downfalls, which arent huge was the beds were very hard, probably because its a new location, not too many have stayed there so quite refreshing because at least I knew I was getting a new bed. Secondly, the breakfast was very disappointing. It ends way to early, and when we did get down there it was very bare, I should mention I went right in the middle of the times open. It looked like it was closer to the end of the time, not a whole lot there. Thankfully there was a Denny s right across the street. Other than that, which like I stated not a big deal, but could use a bit of attention, it was a lovely hotel and stay. Definitely will stay there again.
The breakfast was nice and hot and enough variety for those watching what they eat. The room was clean and house keeping was fantastic. The only issue we had was the bathroom door was obnoxiously loud when you tried to close it. It could be heard down the hall. Other wise the staff was friendy and the hotel nice and cool in the West Texas heat.
Friendly staff, plenty of parking space for my moving truck. Clean, comfortable room. My room had mostly been renovated, with a few minor things left to be done. I got to breakfast right at the end and there was still enough food for stragglers. Probably the nicest Sleep Inn Ive stayed in. I would absolutely stay here again.
There was a group of teens running and yelling till midnight in the hallway in front our room and nobody did anything to calm them down.I forgot an electric Oral B toothbrush with it case in the bathroom, I had been calling every single day since Monday when I got home and realize I left it there, and the staff was completely and utterly incompetent, disregarding the issue and telling me that that was a manager issue, and the manager telling me that was a housekeeping issue. Promising to call me back to tell me if the cleaning crew found it, which I know the crew would, because she was at our door at the moment we left the room. Today, Friday I will call again and I will go on and on until I get a proper response from some one in the hotel. The best thing about this hotel, by far, was the breakfast quality and presentation, however we need to wait for a table because they were all taken and there was no more space to sit and eat.
The facility is nice, but the little details were not taken care of well. Ran out of toilet paper and kleenex and had to call for them to bring more (no extras were left in the room). We booked for triple occupancy, but we had only two towels in the room. Had to call for them to bring bedding for the pull out bed. The room phone didnt work, and the breakfast was lacking (powdered eggs).
I stayed here 6/8/2018-6/10/ with my kids. We were in town for the CALF convention. I chose this location due to its high rating and the fact that I had stayed at Comfort Suites In Tyler the previous month with my kids for a Mothers Day get away and had a phenomenal experience. The room in Tyler was immaculate, breakfast was as I expected, pool was wonderful and staff were great. I got a great rate, paying only $171.82 for the Queen Suite. So- I wasnt worried about staying in another hotel by the same chain. Sleep Inn was NOT up to my expectations. I paid $270.59 for the exact same room, exact same # of days as my Tyler stay to be met with a filthy room. Food in microwave, stains on BOTH bed spreads, food splatter on the desk by the bed, previous tenants loofie still hanging in the shower, and after playing on the floor for 45 minutes my son was covered in black grime and had to be bathed. I then placed the dirty bedspread on the floor so he could play without getting dirty again. There was also body hair on the sheets on one bed. I went to ACE at the front desk to discuss the matter and waited in line for 45 min. However, there was another couple there arguing with him about their reservation endlessly, and two more people in line behind them trying to check in. So- I gave up, tolerated the dirty room and will never be back. The carpet in the elevator is nasty, as well. Pool had trash and broken pool tiles all over the grounds the whole time I was there and was not safe to take my son to- no one ever cleaned it up...in three days. By far the worst place I have ever stayed in terms of cleanliness. Ace was wonderful, breakfast met my expectations, check-in and out was smooth. But to pay over $100 more for the same room and same # of nights and be met with such disgustingly dirty accommodations was very disappointing. This 2- star rating was earned due to housekeeping/grounds keeping issues. There is also a sign on the third floor directing patrons to ice/vending. There is no ice. I had to go to the lobby to ask why there is a sign saying Ice/Vending and all I could locate was vending and was told, Oh- only the first two floors have ice. Ok- then change the sign on the third floor. Its frustrating to lug the ice chest all the way down the hall and find no ice. I never write reviews- but this upset me so much I took the time to take pics and post a review to warn others before being met with the same disappointment I was met with. I am a single mom working 3 jobs. When I save up enough money to take my kids somewhere for a family activity, it just irks me to no end to have my hard earned money wasted on poor accommodations.
We had a king and 1 double sofa sleeper (younger grandson traveling with us). All went according to plan. After driving all day, nice to have no glitches! Free wifi was fine, mini fridge and microwave, comfy bed, bathroom was fine, and A/C was great! Oh, and free hot breakfast was just fine too!
We like this location and the new condition of the hotel. We have spent four nights in the last month at this location and have reservations for several more.Consistent issues:1) Hotel staff does not clean up the grounds of the hotel. Beer cans sit on the ground near the exits for multiple days2) If you are in a room near the ends the WiFi will not work. This is a deal killer when on business3) The microwave was not operational and it took 2 calls to the off-site manager to get it replaced. They knew it didnt work before we check-in, but didnt let us know.
8/10... They were very easy to work with on reservations and blocking rooms. We had a small issue when we first arrived and it was successfully fixed immediately. The staff were all very courteous and helpful and the hotel was VERY convenient to ACU. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Hotel was clean and well accommodated. Shower stall itself was a little weird -- new designer type without a shower curtain so it was a little drafty, and shower faucet was a little cranky getting the right temperature.Bed and pillows super comfy.Good selection of breakfast foods.
The hotel was ok. I was disappointed in the bathroom that was located in my room. The floor was dirty and the shower had hair and dirt on the floor. The shower also smelled like mold/mildew. The cleaning services need to be improved. Front desk staff was great as well as breakfast.
We have stayed here in the past with no issues however this time was different. There were children running the halls yelling (luckily during the day only) and the room was missing coffee and not in good repair. We reserved a handicapped room as my husband has difficulty walking (uses a cane). The elevator was out of order and our room was on the second floor. We had great difficulty carrying our luggage and climbing the stairs to our room. Will not stay here again.....staff should have known someone needing a handicapped room would have a difficult time climbing stairs....why put them on the second floor!
The manager, Cindy, was very compasionate and showed great care and concern, since my husband became critically ill on the first night we arrived and that caused us to have an extended stay with the hotel. She changed our rate to be more affordable and upgraded our room to hold more of our family. We felt comfortable at all times and greatly appreciated the whole staff and their genuine concern for our family. Two Thumbs Up!!!
Ive stayed here before and it was nice. This time there was no hot water at all. Makes it hard to take a shower after a long day. At breakfast the options were few and empty. Worst part was the coffee machine was terrible. So I ended up having to buy coffee at the store next door as I was leaving. If I wasnt using points for a free night I would have been really upset. But I guess I just wasted my points for a bad experience.
The hotel is very clean and modern. Staff is friendly. For a brand new hotel the sheets are wilted and super thin and poor quality. They dont fit the bed in the corners. The walls are super thin so the hallways become very loud as do the rooms next door.Carpet is clean and new and granite counters are nice.
So much potential at this hotel, but the effort is not there. Breakfast is of low quality, lower than in the past. Waffles are good, biscuits are good if you get them right after they come out. Juices are watery, getting coffee is laborious. TV was set with a parent lock and the staff could not fix it, very frustrating.
This was one of the cleanest, friendliest hotels we have EVER stayed at. Right off highway without the noise of highway. Price was right for what we got. I felt safe with 3 kids traveling along too. Even though we didnt need them, there was a fridge and a microwave. I will definitely stay again next time we come through from PHX.
We had a terrible experience with the check-in process. We arrived at check-in time which is 2:00, no rooms were ready. We were told to return at 3:30, we returned at 4:00 and the lobby was packed with people waiting for rooms, but no rooms were ready! There was one person working the desk, no manager or person to take charge of the situation. The poor girl at the desk didnt know what to tell us! We had to leave for a football game and were not able to return until 11:00 pm, and at that time we did get into our room. It was a terrible experience. Normally I would never even try to stay at that hotel again, but it is the most convenient location and good price for what we need on our frequent visits to Abilene. We will give it ONE MORE TRY, and hope that does not happen again!
We stayed in a smoking double. 2 people, one ashtray. They dont have spares, and I was told someone must have took one. No big deal. The closet door closes by magnet, which was missing. The door kept opening all the way. Not good in the dark when trying to get to the bathroom. I did report it and we taped the door shut for the night. Something the housekeeper would have noticed for sure. The clerk at the front desk was preoccupied with texting/messaging on her phone, so our little issues seemed unimportant. Over all, it was clean and quiet, and breakfast includes scrambled eggs and bacon. Nice surprise. Will stay again.
I booked through choice hotels which I am a Dimon member got to holtel went to check in i informed front desk person I had our 2 service dogs my husband dog is for diabetes and my is analogies which I told her I had papers for them and she said they charge for all dogs including service dogs it was bad enough we were going to take a smoking room I told her it was against the American with diabetes act I am going to report thisAn will not book at this holtel again I will not give a scend chance
Not a place I will return to. The heat was out in the first room I entered. Got a second room and it was freezing. Took a while to warm up. Each night my keys had to be reactivated. This may not sound like much, but after exhausting, emotional days, I just wanted something to go smoothly I only stayed bc I lost my mom and wanted to stay close enough to Anson to get to the funeral home as soon as they opened and stayed until they closed.
I always stay at the Sleep Inn when I travel to Abilene, TX and as always it was a great stay. My room was clean, the staff was friendly and my bed was soooo comfortable...I slept like a new born baby :) The breakfast was its typical complimentary breakfast but it was still good lol. It close to stores, food and the movies. Definitely a great place to stay.
I accidentally booked two rooms but thought it was one. The staff and the manager/supervisor were very understanding and removed the one room from my bill. They were very professional and courteous. Our daughter is attending HSU and we are staying there again on 8/22 this Saturday. We will also book reservations for many dates over the fall semester. Kind staff, hot breakfast, free wifi, and large rooms. GREAT VALUE AND SERVICE WITH A SMILE!
I had a very pleasant experience while staying at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board.I dealt with two different staff members and both of them were very courteous and helpful.I will be going back to Abilene regularly on business and this will be my home away from home.
The hotel is run down (at least in the room we had) stains in the carpet, broken tile, cracked toilet, and they still have smoking rooms but donβt make it clear when your booking a room. They donβt do a great job of cleaning the smoking rooms. The second my wife and I (who has asthma) stepped in the room it smelled like someone was actively smoking inside the room. Also of note is that every single room number sign outside the doors show no smoking. Why have a no smoking sign for each room if that isnβt true?
I have stayed at this sleep inn location three times now. If it wasnt clean I would not go back. They have a good breakfast that is well maintained. The area around this sleep in is growing fast (I am from this area). Another reason I stay here is that the area is safe.
This handicap accessible room was just as advertised! The accommodations included plenty of walking space in the room and a FULLY accessible bathroom! The roll-in shower was most appreciated. I find myself amazed at how many rooms advertise as being handicap accessible and then have a tub or low toilet or too high of a bed.My spouse has some physical limitations and we didnt experience any issues with that here. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast room were very friendly!
We chose this hotel based on the proximity to the Abilene Christian campus. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was very friendly. We were a little disappointed that our ice machine on our floor didnβt work, but otherwise the one night we stayed was pleasant. The breakfast was decent with a wide variety to choose from!
I am on a road trip through New Mexico. On the way, my first stop was at the Sleep Inn. Now I usually pull an RV behind my truck, but since I was travelling solo this time, I left the trailer at home and focused on value priced hotels. I had never stayed in a Sleep Inn, but I had a former employer who stayed with the hotel chain all the time. So I had no concerns about my stay there. Everything was just as I expected. Clean, neat, well appointed. The room was quiet and the bed was as good as any Ive slept in on the road. You would find that the Sleep Inn will satisfy the most fussy of customers. Check it out. Enjoy the breakfast and a good nights rest. You might decide to sleep in.
Close to the interstate. Very reasonable priced. Rooms were extremely clean and new. I felt like I was staying in a much more expensive hotel. Pet friendly as well! Breakfast was a real breakfast not just a couple muffins and cereal. Id highly recommend and will stay again if Im in the area.
Loved the comfy beds, clean property, great breakfast. However, we got a King with pull out sofa for our family. They would not give us pillows for the sleeper - was told they were high theft items and we could not have even one. THEN at 10:30pm our phone rings. It is the front desk asking if we had o e of the luggage carts in our room. Not only did we not use one upon check in, the phone ringing woke us all up (after travelling in the car with children for 10+ hours, we were not happy).Though I would recommend this property, make sure to bring your own pillows and unplug the phone.
New hotel-clean, safe, good location. Front desk was unfamiliar w the rooms and the anemities each room had. The TV in the handicap rooms are hard to view and there is no TV directly in front of the bed. Handicap showers leak very bad out onto the floor. But overall clean safe good location.
It was summer and we couldnt get into the pool also notice no one was in the pool! But other then that it was a very nice stay! Close to the highway! Easy to get in and out! More Parking would be nice as vehicles with trailers took up a lot of the parking spaces! Breakfast was decent!
The staff at the hotel are great. Hotel is clean, the beds are a little hard and the WiFi doesnt work as well as I would have liked. The only negative was the breakfast. I have to watch what I eat and the choices are limited and really not good. Having said that this is a problem I have at most hotels in this price range. Overall the hotel is a good value and I enjoy staying there.
Stayed at this motel previously and was still satisfied with the hotel service and cleanliness,Has a very good selection for the morning breakfast as well. Friendly hotel. Just was disappointed that they did not honor the Choice Gold members with a welcome snack. But luckily we had some crackers and water with us for our late arrival. Maybe next time they will have bottled water and snacks.
Room was in good shape and was clean. AC was cold and king bed was in good shape. Breakfast was very good and eating place was clean. Only problem I had was WIFI connection was very weak. I was on first floor and my tablet and IPhone could not even find the signal to connect to. I called front desk and she said it was up and running. I finally got signal but sign on never worked.

2022-02-14Overall good experience, good value for the money. Room was clean, though there was a small stain on the bedspread that warranted cleaning. The AC/heating unit is kind of loud but not terrible. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The odor of cleaning products was strong, but thats not the worst odor to have. Breakfast was so-so. I would stay here again.

2022-03-13We have stayed at this location several times. It is slowly getting to needing maintence that is not being done. That being said I will stay here again for several reasons. Staff is great! The room was clean and I felt safe at this location. The location is a tad off the highway which makes it a quiet location. There are showers only in the rooms, no tubs (in the rooms I have stayed in), which is not a concern for us. Overall the facility is good.

2022-06-29Housekeeping is horrible! Rent a carpet cleaner! Bedding all stained! Towels stained, carpet looked like a crime scene π³! Throw out the ottoman! Hairs all over bathroom floor. Pee left from someone else on porcelain bowl with seat up, not cleaned.Light fixtures falling out of ceiling, toilet seat not bolted well. Super hot water! π₯ I could get cold unless you almost turn it off then there was no pressure. For $30 go to Holiday Inn across the highway. I should have!

2022-03-02Pet friendly so it was fortunate for us to find this place to spend a night on our way from Houston with our two pooches. But... our reserved room was given away and we ended up in a room that wasnt quite what we needed. On top of that, when we opened the room fridge to store some of our food items overnight, we found a nasty surprise of stinky left-over food that looked like it had been there for weeks.

2022-05-03It was very disappointing showing up to your property and seeing the condition it was in. It wasnt a great look to have all the mattresses line up in the halls, and out side in plan view, not a good site at all, and especially entering the lobby seeing mattresses that look like pee stains on them. It was big, big, turn off for me, and on top of that, after getting my door keys, I head up to my room, I open the door to find out the room hadnt been cleaned yet, and I had to wait until the room was service to enter my room. Also, the phone in my room didnt work. I will tell you, if I hadnt paid through a third party services, I would have asked for my money back and stayed elsewhere...P.S. I didnt post a lobby picture of the pee stain mattresses, it was a bad look!

2022-03-22Positive: Location was the only good thing about this hotel. Negative: The shower was clogged and dirty. The ΓΒΏhotΓΒΏ breakfast was microwaved egg product and microwaved sausage which was almost completely inedible. The check-in staff was brusque and borderline rude. Definitely would not stay again.

2022-03-17The staff is unprofessional and seem to think because they are taking your m9ney they are able to impose their beliefs upon you. They had quite a few labor workers staying there which is why I think they felt they could treat us non labor workers the way they did. Because I had my children (twin boy and girl) if we asked foe towels or toilet paper she would make them come get it. Because my father was dying I was playing it day by day. So I would reserve the room 9n line and she charged me 100 deposit EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have worked in the motel/hotel industry and know 100% the deposit is at your discretion. I explained to her what brought me to Abilene (father in icu with pneumonia and stroke)and we didnt know if he would make it. We have NO family here. She should have refunded me the 100 each day but chose not to until I checked out permanently by this point she had her daily rate pd and 400 8n deposit. Had I booked for 4 days it would have been 100 deposit but because we had to do it day by day she took full advantage of this. Seven days later and I will still waiting for at least one of the 100 deposits be credited back to my card. She of course had every excuse ready. Its not her,the card issuer is the one that will hold up the deposit, its their policy to charge 100 per check in. Technically yes she had the right but from a HUMAN AND MORAL stand point she could have done so m7ch better. I urge you to NOT stay at this hotel if you have any other option. Thanks for taking the time to read

2022-05-21I was disappointed as the first room they put me in the A/C did not work, the telephone did not work and a lamp did not work.I was moved to another room and it had a sheetrock repair above the door that was unpainted and the bathroom sink did not have a drain plug.Inspect your room before you check in.The front desk ladies were helpful.

2022-04-15This was surprisingly a good hotel. I wouldnt of thought it was gonna be as good as it was. The ac went really cold and blowed hard. The place was pretty quiet the tv didnt get very loud which was unfortunate but over all it was a good place.

2022-01-31Not the best stay but not the worst. My room was hardly great. Only scalding hot water in the shower. Refrigerator was ticking like a time bomb. TV had receiver dangling so tough to control. Bed was thin memory foam.
