Went bridal shopping with my bridal party. My bridal party and I got to pick some dresses that we thought I’d love. Then my stylist-Connie helped me to try them on. After reactions and listening to my concerns and my likes, Connie would go and pick dresses based on what I totally looked good in. Connie was AMAZING and I loved my experience
Something Blue is the perfect place to go if you are shopping for a wedding dress. They have an amazing selection of all types of gowns and truly make you feel like family. My stylist Bailey is AWESOME! She is so sweet and fun. They are great at figuring out what your style is and pulling dresses that they think you would like. I was able to find the dress of my dreams here and actually cancelled the appointment I had set up in Houston right that I was supposed to go to right after my appointment in Something Blue because they had everything I needed!
My experience at something blue was amazing! I not only got my wedding gown from there, but my girls got there bridesmaid dresses and the guys got there tuxedos. They answered every question I had and helped me finding my dream dress! I would highly recommend every bride go check out something blue!

Something Blue is amazing and I had such a positive experience buying my dress! Claire was great! She listened to what I wanted but got me to try different styles and I said yes to my dress during my second appointment. My wedding was 12/1 and I loved my dress and everyone told me how beautiful it was along with my jewelry/belt that I also bought at Something Blue!

As a plus size bride one of my biggest concerns was finding a shop that would help me find a dress that fit and was perfect for me. On top of this, I only had about 5 months to find a dress. Before I went I was so nervous, but as soon as I stepped in the shop my nerves were eased. All of the girls felt like they could be your best friend - they were so sweet. Alyssa was my consultant and she was beyond amazing. I told her I was all over the place and had no idea what I wanted. Alyssa listened to exactly what I thought I wanted and then pulled some she thought would look good on me. To my surprise I had picked. Instead, Alyssa blew me away with one of her choices. Alyssa never pressured me to make a decision. She told me to go home and if I dreamt about the dress I knew it was the one. Well that night I dreamed about my dress.On top of this, the day before my wedding I realized I didnt pick up my dress. Alyssa stayed late, so we could rush to Angleton and get my dress. You cant get this type of customer service anywhere else.I am so happy to be a Something Blue Bride! I had a wonderful experience at Something Blue!Right when you walk in it is easy to see that they have some of the most beautiful wedding, bridesmaids, & prom dresses. Sandie was my wedding consultant and is also the owner;she was very knowledgeable and showed me all types of wedding dresses. I found my dress and in my price range. My aunts and cousins that came with me had a wonderful time as well. I highly recommend Something Blue for your wedding & prom needs.
I was pregnant at the time of dress shopping and they made me feel so comfortable and the staff there are so nice they take their time to find your perfect dress and they really do care about the bride and your vision. I had a bad experience somewhere else so I was so scared to go dress shopping again and I found this shop on the knot and it really is a great place with tons of dresses in great price ranges! I found my perfect gown and I cant wait to get married in it! Give something blue a chance to find your dream gown!
I visited a couple other shops before coming here, and left the others extremely disappointed with the way the consultants were pushy and not helpful.Then I went to Something Blue and was so impressed! They have a huge selection of dresses and My stylist, Alyssa, was excited to help and did such an awesome job. She really made the experience exciting the way it’s supposed to be. If you go I’d definitely suggest asking for Alyssa!!
They say when you find the one, you just know. All thanks to Justine at Something Blue, I found the perfect wedding dress before going anywhere else. We made our appointment and Justine greeted us with a welcoming smile and positive attitude. Not knowing exactly which type of dress I wanted, Justine was able to give me several ideas that she thought would look amazing. She is very knowledgeable about styles, designers, and other boutique locations all around the world! This shop truly makes you feel like a princess! They also have beautiful jewelry, veils and other extras to make your look complete. Standing in front of body length mirrors, with my Mom sitting behind me in a royalty-type chair, I couldn’t believe this was really happening - and I owe it all to Something Blue!Highly recommended!!
Being in the wedding industry as a day-of coordinator, I have worked with many different vendors and bridal shops and I will say that there are great places out there for brides to choose from! However, I now have the privilege of doing everything from a Bride’s perspective, as I am getting married in November! The one place I knew I couldn’t go wrong with was Something Blue! I have bought bridesmaid dresses here a couple of times now, so I knew the experience with buying my wedding dress here would be second to none! When I came in for my appointment to try on dresses, I seemed to be all over the place with my thoughts on style, but my bridal consultant, Rebekah, listened to what I was saying and picked out some gorgeous dresses for me, some that I may not have tried otherwise...and the first dress I tried on ended up being the dress I bought at the end of my appointment! My experience has been nothing but amazing with the staff here at Something Blue, and I am so excited to walk down the aisle in my dream dress! Thank you, to Rebekah and everyone at SB! ❤️
I had the best experience at this boutique! The staff, especially Justine, was so helpful and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what kind of dress would look best on my body type and was beyond great when I had a mini freak out because I was having a hard time making a final decision. They were also helpful with the suits for the groomsmen and rest of wedding party. Anytime I needed something or had a question (which was a lot) they were there from beginning until I got married. So happy I chose to get my dress here and work with the wonderful staff and owners. Highly recommend!
I purchased a bridesmaid dress here last fall. They had a lot of beautiful dresses to try on and each dress came in a variety of colors. The staff was very helpful and I had no issue setting up an appointment or placing an order. The dress I ordered came in on time and fit perfectly; I didnt even need alterations.
This was the only place I went wedding dress shopping and I found the perfect dress! Everyone is so kind and Bailey was so much fun to work with! I tend to be picky when it comes to any kind of shopping, but Bailey had so much patience with me as I continued trying on dress after dress, narrowing my choices down. Thank you, Something Blue!
I love my dress and that is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. The staff is super nice and helpful when you’re dress shopping, but after you purchase, not so much. I went to try mine on after it had come in and they were super attentive with the other bride there that was picking out her dress, but I waited forever for any kind of assistance. And my dress took 6 months to come in (totally normal), but strangely my veil had not come in. After 6 months. Pretty sure they didn’t order it because it suddenly came in about 3-4 weeks later. Fast forward to my wedding day. Filled out the form to have it delivered and was told it would be delivered between 9am-11am to a venue that was less than ten minutes from the shop. 11:30am rolls around and still no dress. We get her number from a venue rep that was on site and she calls the owner. Owners response: “Oh! I’ll be right there” 100% sure she forgot about my dress. On the plus, she is a very nice lady. I do not like to write bad reviews and I went back and forth a lot on posting this. But, in the end, I was dissatisfied.
Everything about Something Blue was a perfect experience. My stylist Alyssa found several beautiful dresses within my budget. Very happy with my experience over all!
I drove an hour from Galveston for my 14 year old daughter to try on a Bridesmaid dress (that closer shops didnt carry) for an out of state wedding. The shop is beautiful and clean and even though we were not going to purchase the dress from Something Blue, the bridal stylist Justine Taddeo was extremely friendly and helpful! I would absolutely recommend this place to others specifically based on her excellent customer service!!
The dresses, the range of styles, the price points!! The assistant and individual help you get from everyone who works here is amazing! I wish I had known about this store sooner, as it wouldve saved me a lot of time, effort, hours and hours of searching for the right dress.I have nothing but positive things to say about this store, trust me when I say that your dream dress is here! First, I want to apologize for the late post. Second, I want to write a review expressing my gratitude for Something Blues generosity.My mom had battled stage 4 colon cancer since November of 2017. During 2018 , when she was feeling well enough to go shopping, she would join me in the search for the perfect wedding dress. We visited Something Blue twice and both times Crystal treated us with kindness, smiles and great assistance. They helpers there really know about the business and go above and beyond to help their customers. On the second visit, my mom and I found the perfect dress! My mom ended up purchasing it for me and I couldnt wait for her to see me in it in about 6 months. Unfortunately, my sweet mother was sent home on hospice on February 21, 2019. My fiance and I decided we would have to get married early and I had about a week to search for a simple white dress. On March 2 ( my wedding day), I was leaving the Glam house when I drove by Something Blue and decided to call and ask if they do dress rentals. When I explained to Rebekah Krsak my situation she was so sweet and told me to come on in and she would fix me up. When I get there, she tells me that I can borrow the dress my mom bought me. I was so overwhelmed by their generosity and evenmore so because my mother would get to see me in it. Rebekah even called the seamstresse to come right away to alter the sleeves so it would fit better. I will forever be thankful of the people at Somethimg Blue for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day and for giving me the gift of seeing my mothers tears of joy when she saw me in my wedding gown. Something Blue is definitely the place to buy your beautiful gown for your special occasion. Not only are all the dresses simply gorgeous , the people there are so helpful and will take their time to make sure you look fantastic!
Something Blue is a fantastic Bridal Boutique! Sandie and Rebekah strive to ensure that you find the perfect dress! They are unlike most upscale bridal boutiques in that you instantly feel like family when you walk in and sense that they love making brides feel beautiful. I would definitely recommend Something Blue and it is certainly worth the drive for all those curious Houstonians out there.
This place was amazing. All if the dresses were gorgeous and the staff was great. Alyssa, my bridal stylist, was fantastic, she actually picked out my dress. She was so sweet and answered all my questions.I HIGHLY recommend this place ❤
Was only there for 15 minutes before i left. They had barley any dresses in sizes smaller than a 6. That wouldn’t bother me if they had been more attentive. I was talked to when invited in and they informed me of their rules then i wasn’t helped at all.
Unorganized... My groomsmen got measured and the lady that was doing the measureing was back and forth on the phone and was not focused. We had one vest that would not button, one that was very tight and three shirts that did not fit. My guys had to go buy their own shirts and just use the tie. The two shirts and one vest got refunded, the others were sol. Even though they did not get to touch their vests because of the measurement mistakes. I asked about them needing to try them on prior to pickup and was told they are all adjustable, so l they should be fine. ABSOLUTLEY WRONG. I would not refer wedding parties here unless your guys live in town and want to make a a few trips.
Their selection was nice and theyre knowledgeable about what they have in the store however the younger girl at the front desk was pretty rude. The nose too high in the air kind of rude. We went in without an appointment and they had no available consultants. Thats understandable. However, when I asked any questions, she stuck her nose up and had no time for me.. Because I didnt have an appointment so obviously wouldnt be buying anything that day? I dont know. There was no reason for her to give us the cold shoulder. I made an appointment for my bridesmaids but, again, she was rude and rolled her eyes when I said there were 6 of them and wanted to know how long the consultations lasted t see if i should make an extra appontment. Im bringing potential business to you and you have an attitude? I dont understand why someone would act like that. Apparently questions are intolerable in the young ladys eyes. Cancelled my appointment later that week when I found a different store with a nicer staff. The older ladies stopped to answer questions and were pleasant but that 1 girl ruined the store for me..
My co-worker went here so her husband can rent a tux for her daughters wedding. When the husband went he picked out the tux he liked, was measured, and put down $50. He went back to get the tux two days before the wedding, when he tried it on it was to small, he could not move his arms and the length of the sleeves we up to his elbows. They asked if it could be fixed and she said it was to soon, and said all the men wear them like that. (Oh No if he would have moved he would have split out). She said she could fix the sleeves by moving them down, that was a lot of down. She told them to come back on Friday or Saturday. When they called the answering machine said it was closed and closed on Saturday. So guess what no tux and they refused to return their money. Well I am not surprised I went on this website yesterday and it claimed to be closed all day. She said the experience from the beginning made her feel uncomfortable, she wasnt even greeted at the door. (Okay she wasnt dress to kill because they both just came from work from the plant.) She was in the store three times for all this and she felt discriminated because she is not an American. Other than whites have proms and weddings also.

I got my dress back in 2015 and still to this day, I tell everyone about Sandie and how that was the best place to go to to find the perfect dress! My best friend and I were getting married months apart and we both found our dress there on the same day. Thank you so much for everything!!

2022-02-03We went in looking for a Sherri Hill prom dress which they had so many of. The attendant, Ellie, was very helpful and attentive. She brought out a few dresses that we wouldn’t have noticed ourselves and ended up purchasing “The One”! Nice detail - they registered our dress to ensure no duplicates at our event. 2022-09-10Best experience I could have ever imagined! Every staff member are as sweet, thoughtful, and as amazing as can be! They had so many options to choose from to try on, and I found my dress during that appointment. Since I found it the first day, I received a Love at First Sight discount. It was such a sweet surprise to have several hundred taken off my purchase price. I love love love thus beautiful place and they have homecoming/prom dress for my daughter too!

2022-03-24We really loved our experience at Something Blue! As two brides, we were looking for a bridal shop that would be large enough for us to shop in together but not see each other. Something Blue was the exact place for that. With a large selection and a wide range of price points, we were both able to find out dream dresses on the first visit.The entire team did a great job of making sure we didn’t see each other while trying on dresses but also helping us find dresses that complemented each other so well.Thank you again, Something Blue!

2022-08-09I came here after winning a private try on from one of their fashion shows! I can honestly say they are super nice and so patient with you! I went in not knowing what I wanted to even with an idea of wanting to buy a dress that day! They had champagne and a charcuterie board with a little sign that said Bride to be Ashley waiting for me and the few girls I invited to see dresses. My stylist was so understanding and knew what I was feeling and what I wasnt feeling when trying on dresses. Despite having others giving their opinions she stayed on my side and what I wanted. It just so happen a dress I remembered seeing in the fashion show that I didnt even pull out to try on was the dress I went with at the very end!! My first wedding with the PERFECT dress boutique was the BEST experience ever!

2022-06-26My experience began great as a bride, but ended up being horrible. We picked out my dress last July 2021, bought it and everything. We ordered fabric to make arm pieces, a veil and dress. we were informed it would be done by December, and it was not in their hands until the last day of January when I called to see if it arrived. When I called, I was asked if I wanted a text saying it arrived, and was informed it arrived a few days prior to when I reached out asking about it. Then when I asked to come pickup the dress, I was told I needed to wait a few days for it to be steamed. Fast forward I go to pickup my dress, not only was it not steamed, but they did not have the sleeves I ordered, the dress didnt fit like a size 2 I ordered and lied to me giving me the floor model of the $300+ veil I paid for. We knew something was wrong when we asked for the veil and arm pieces were during my fitting and they disappeared for 10 minutes. Ashley was incredibly rude to my mom and I, and when she said we got two small pieces of fabric that matched the train to do whatever we wanted with because they were extra, we informed her we would try to make sleeves with it and she tried charging us for it, then argued with my mom saying it wasnt free after just telling us they were extra pieces. When I mentioned it wasnt steamed, The other woman helping her told me you have to get it altered so they can do it instead. When I asked her why I had to wait a week to pick it up then she just told me again that the alteration company could do it. At the end of the visit we were given the floor model of the veil (which I did not know at the time and found out April 23 from a text) and a bag of lace that was promised matched my dress to make the arm pieces with, and not a single piece matched. We went back and forth with the owner to get the arm pieces made, because we paid for them and they forgot to order it and it took a few months. We seriously had to contact the designer of my dress to ask for arm pieces. Once the owner found out the designer was aware of the entire situation, things were made right to get them. Then to get a text in April saying my veil was ready after picking up the floor modem with my dress the first week of February, and when I texted my mom about it and she called, the lady at the front desk lied and told my mom they bought two. When she contacted the owner she told us they never ordered it and that they have my veil that I paid for in. My experience was not great, but your luck may be better there. My first experience buying the dress was incredible, but the rest was just disappointing.

2021-11-13Three years ago, my non-girly, non-dress wearing sister found her dream wedding dress here, so there was no doubt that I, the girly girl of us two, would be able to find my dress here! Their selection is unmatched! We had the best time! My stylist Alyssa was patient, funny, and even stayed late to make sure I was all set to order THE one! She knew exactly what we needed to make the experience fun and not stressful. The whole appointment felt like a dream! Something Blue is an hour drive from my house, but it is worth it.
