Alex was prompt and quick to address my needs! His team was fantastic and I have found myself a long term plumbing partner. I will definitely be using his services again. The team was prompt, on time, and professional. They were also happy to answer all my questions. The prices were very reasonable and quality of work superb. I saw far more reviews for roto-rooter but got the typical corporate salesman install approach, charging ridiculous amount. Sosa understood my needs and didnt over sale what I didn’t need. I will be a return customer.
I now have a new plumber. After one well rated firm never got back to me with a quote and another established/well respected firm (that we had used since moving to Georgetown in 2010) telling me it couldnt be done with the brand/model I have, I now have a recirculating line & pump added to my tankless water heater. Since the water heater is located on an exterior, masonry wall the project required some creativity & elbow grease as well as knowledge, experience & skill. Everyone I dealt with @ Sosa Services (Alex, Mary and Isaiah) was so pleasant & professional. After Alex assessed the problem, he explained it would be necessary to go through the sheetrock in the garage and that he didnt have anyone who did sheetrock repairs. I didnt care: Im tired of running gallons of water down the drain 1) waiting for hot water at my kitchen sink & the dishwasher as well as 2) the shower in my bathroom. And I know a good handyman. As it turns out the small piece of sheetrock that Isaiah removed is close to the floor -- and behind the salt barrel for the water softener! Additionally, he placed a timer on the pump, so Ill also save gas & electric when the pump is off/when I dont need it. I was charged exactly what I had been quoted.
Received phenomenal service from John. We are purchasing a water softener along with complete install. John was very professional and was able to give me a quote right away. Will use Sosa Plumbing for all future needs.
Our neighbors gave us Johns number when he was installing their water softner. He said all the right things. He is a hell of a salesman! John and Isaiah installed 3 houses on our block all within a week. They were fast, efficient, courteous and very professional!
Anthony was awesome. Communicated several times before he arrived so we knew when to expect him. Showed up on time and was very professional. Faucet and shutoff valve replaced for price quoted. Would definitely use SOSA Services again and recommend them without reservation.
Alex and his team took care of a defective gas valve on our 3-year-old water heater. From the time of the initial problem, Alex was very professional, kind, and thorough. He informed me that the problem was most likely with the gas valve and that, if the problem happened again, the gas valve would need to be replaced. Sure enough, it happened again. Alex was able to get a new part and have it installed in a very timely manner. There was, however, a hairline fracture in the new gas valve, and the strong gas smell was something I just was not comfortable leaving alone overnight. I let Alex know about the gas smell, and within just a couple of hours, he was back at the house (even late in the evening) checking for the leak. He found it quickly, and honored his warranty by being back at my house within 12 hours with another new gas valve. All is well and working now! I cannot offer praise that is high enough for Alex and his team. Not once did I feel they were blowing me off or in such a rush that they did not really care about the quality of their work. It is rare to find someone who is responsive, polite, and high quality. Thanks, Sosa Plumbing Services!
A friend of mine recommended Sosa Plumbing so I called them when our sink kept backing up and the garbage disposal stopped working. They had an appointment available for me in less than 24hrs. Alex and Jordan arrived early to assess the issue and then left to grab the appropriate parts from the store since we needed a certain item. Jordan returned, expeditiously completed the repair, and left everything looking better than it did before. They were so polite and friendly and the pricewas perfect. Jordan even took extra time to listen to other concerns I had around the house and recommended the steps we could go to fix the issues. Definitely will be using again and will be recommending them to everyone who needs a plumber!
“Alex”. The “owner”. Showed up. And had a very know it all attitude. My lines on water heater needed replaced. He pushed to replace whole heater. Crew came and replaced. Had issues. Alex was very rude. And would not come and fix. Wasn’t under his “warranty”. Had to find another plumber. Only 2 stars because crew was nice.
I have truly met the prime plumbing company these young men are professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I had a hot water heater replacement,water softener installation and inspection of gas stove to assure no leaks. Very reasonable with service cost. I have used Sosa services many times over the last few years. Everything from installing a whole house water filter and a water softener to helping set up a brand new shower in a bathroom. We experienced damage to our well as a result of the Winter Storm. We called Sosa on Friday 2/19 and they were able to get to us the following Tuesday when everyone else was booked a week or more out. They did a complete re-pipe of our 1930 farmhouse. Alex is an excellent communicator, as are the guys that work for him! They were timely, professional, did excellent quality work! We had a major flood in the house. It was because there was a crack in the toilet flange and roots grew in the pipe. They repaired the pipe and will install a new flange once the new floor is installed. The insurance cannot go fast enough. The owner is an Air Force vet.

2022-01-07John and Cody were very professional and did a great job at installing the water and the gas line for our new heating unit! John handled the entire process very professionally, he answered thoroughly every question I had and took the time to go over the different options available. They were always on time and made sure I knew what they were working on!I recommend them 150% and will for sure be using them again in the future!

2022-07-12Due to old plumbing lines under the bathroom sink, they started to leak and need replacing. Hunter could have come in installed new lines, shut off valves and called it a day, but he didn’t. He made sure the mineral deposits were cleaned from the faucet screen for better water flow.When I asked Hunter about our broken water softener, he took the time to check it out and offer suggestions.Thank you for excellent service!!

2021-12-04I had and still have a few projects to fix in my new house, and I will be using Sosa Plumbing for all of them. Alex and Isaiah check all the boxes: great prices, kind and respectful service, on-time, on-budget, and just trustworthy. I had a few estimates from other companies, and none of them came close to professionalism and competence that Alex and Isaiah provided. They repaired 15 feets of my sewer line that had backed up, and also changed out a few of my water valves. Ill use them again soon probably for a whole-house water softener and filter under my sink. Thanks Sosa! Youve got a customer for life with me :)

2022-01-28We hired Sosa for some natural gas line repairs and installation. Their prices were competitive, and Alex was very communicative. Anthony and Isaiah did the work, and they were very professional. They showed up on time, explained what they were doing, and their quality was good. There was a small issue with needing to add a regulator to the line they installed, and they bought one and installed it without additional charge. Highly recommended.

I have used them multiple times now as my house was built in the 60’s, from replacing outdoor faucets to adding a new water heater and softener. I give them a 10/10! 2022-05-12They were on my property without my consent to do work for the neighbor. They cut up our weed barrier, dumped unknown liquid and dirt all over our newly installed river rock. I called the company asking Alex, the owner, to call back. He never did. Lacie took down the info and Antony called back. All he had to say was I am sorry for the inconvenience. I called back today 5/12 to asking for Alex. Mary only took down the info. Once again the owner is not calling back and trying to fix his worker’s error for not asking proper permission before the start of the job. They are now telling me to go ask my neighbor to pay for the damage.

2021-06-02Had these guys install a new water softener because our old one went to water softener heaven. The two previous companies I had contacted either did not show up or canceled an hour before the scheduled appointment. So I wasted a week and a half because of that. From the initial phone call to the day of install, I was very happy with this companys service. The crew that came were timely, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable. I was very impressed and will certainly call them up again should a different plumbing issue arise.

2021-05-18Jordan and Isaiah installed a new dishwasher for me. They showed up promptly on time and quickly had the old, broken dishwasher out of the house. They were very careful and respectful of my house and my new dishwasher as they maneuvered it into place, which I really appreciated. They got everything hooked up and working in about an hour. Great experience! I will definitely use this company again for future plumbing needs.
