This is our second year, we plan to stay here until we get a house. Its such a great place for the price (which fluctuates with the floor, size, and location of the apartment). I usually recommend people checking them out if theyre looking for an apartment. Its clean, safe, and pretty. With a super quick responding maintenance staff. All the downstairs apartments have little yards which is great for pets (which the staff all welcome). And if youre like me and dont have a pet, the turtle ponds are my favorite part of the complex. If you stand on a ledge and toss a bit of turtle food (provided by the front office) you will see 30+ large turtles. It makes me so happy and anytime a friend visits us, we show them this fun unique feature.My only wish is that they had a little playground for my toddler so I didnt have to drive to find a park.

I moved into these apartments after Venterra purchased. They weren’t the best looking apartments but after the new management came in I decided to move in and I was happy to see all the different color buildings and everything really looked great. I came back 7 years later and it still is really well kept. I am now locating outside of the state so I was not able to apply. Danielle S. Was such a friendly and knowledgeable agent. She for sure sold me on all the new technology and everything South Shore Lakes has to offer. See you hopefully soon!!! You’ll be the first place I go if I go back Texas.

The staff is amazing here! They listen to any and all comments/concerns and find a professional and efficient way to rectify or improve whatever the situation may be. They are wonderful with pets and so understanding, hands down the best pet friendly place Ive lived! Maintenance is just as equally awesome and friendly, especially when it comes to your pets. The residents that live here are respectful, clean and quiet. Wonderful place to call home!

I loved this apartment complex! The apartment, grounds, and amenities were well maintained, and the office and maintenance staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Maintenance pretty much always came out within 24 hours, no matter how small my request was, and whenever I called the office with a question, they were excellent at communicating and calling back within a short period of time to keep me updated or to answer my questions. The community was quiet and seemed very pet- and child-friendly, and it felt like a very safe place to live. I lived here for over two years, and I would have stayed longer if I hadnt had to move for work!

I’ve lived here for 2 years and I can’t complain. All the staff are very helpful and respond in a timely manner including maintenance. The community is beautiful and family/pet friendly. I’m going to miss it but the prices have went up and out of my budget lol

My family has lived at South Shore Lakes Apartments for two years now, and we will definitely renew our lease for another. I can honestly say its the best apartment community that Ive ever lived in! The complex itself is always kept clean, has great amenities, very pet friendly with nice dog parks and plenty of space to spend outside. The wonderful office staff is very professional but also personable, I am always greeted by name. The maintenance team is also friendly, polite and extremely efficient. My family and I highly recommend these apartments, so dont wait to call South Shore Lakes Apartments your home too!

Car towed for parking in an absolute normal parking spot. There were no signs of reserved parking, no numbers indicating that someone owned that spot. It was a normal parking spot. Car was illegally towed, and this complex has a contract with that towing company. Will remain 1 star until something is done about my car.

My husband and I moved here so our daughter can have plenty of room to grow so far it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made! The community here is so amazing and giving! The apartments are beautiful and roomy! Not to mention all the benefits they offer like garages, dog parks and trash valet. Each day that passes makes me even more grateful for moving here .

I been living here for almost a decade but I may have to move. Prices sky rocketing still. I didnt miss my rent the whole pandemic in 2020, and still cant get a good rate in a different floor plan. I will miss this place when I am gone tho. 😢.

Wouldn’t recommend…I’ve had issues with these people since i moved in June of 2020.First off when i was moving in doing all paper work they were rude very rude… No customer service what so ever. They will catch an attitude with you for basic complaints about the community. Moving out is an easy process but don’t expect to see your deposit… even if you get some money back from the deposit they’ll take forever to get the check to you. and when you call about it once again they’ll catch an attitude… maybe they just need new front desk who knows.. but it’s an apartment it’s suppose to be your home your suppose to feel welcomed. Never will i ever rent here again.. EVER..
