The entire team of Grey Star Management has been working tirelessly to fix all that the previous company had slacked on and ordidnt do. They had their work cut out forthem and have gone above and beyondwhat one could anticipate.Expedient resolves, on point communication, and Kind hearted people striving to do their best for the residents of The Sovereign Twin Creeks complex.
I have just moved here and the apartment were amazing! I had some difficulties and concerns but especially Mallory helped me a lot to clear all my problems so I am so thankful that the sovereign at twin creeks staff is helpful, polite, and amazing! The apartment over here are full of luxury and beautiful! I mostly say thank you too Mallory because she is a beautiful kind person! Thank you!
False Advertisement and Price Gauging!I moved from Little Rock Ark. to Dallas TX due to my job. I looked online for spacious apartments and Sovereign Twin Creeks came up. On the front page it said Monthly Special $1,000 off first months rent for 1bedroom call us I looked at the floor plans and they had a 1bd 1ba for $1381. I sent an email and Lena responded. I told her I saw the special and the price for the 1bedroom. She replied there is NO special and the 1bd is now $1581. They no longer have the 1bd for $1381. I called the next day and spoke with Austin. He apologized and he said they would see what they could do. Lena calls me back and amazingly the 1bedroom is now available for $1381 BUT the special was for February? Then why is it still on your website in March which is the reason I called? The price gauge is due to the commission the leasing agent receives. This is absolutely appalling and distasteful!
This is one of those smoke and mirror apartments. I moved here out of state the tour was ok virtually. Upon move in the initial leasing agent was rather blah and tried not to take it to heart. After a 14 hr drive from the Midwest I was quite unamused to find spiders and other pest dead or alive in whats supposed to be a made ready unit. Upon returning the condition form to the manager who honestly must only be that by title as there was no concern for my thoughts. I also noticed when they rolled out their Luxe Locker which was horrible rolled out when I complained they tried to rush my into a room in order to not alarm future tenants. As a black woman that felt very targeted and disgusting.For this to be a brand new luxury property I think they use the term luxury very loosely. I understand its Texas but bugs in a brand new place lets me know there was a lot of cut corners in the building of the property. There has been a swarm of gnats in my office which has been embarrassing while on camera while working from home. The agents are rude, the act as though your bothering them and recently called about a package because I was suffering a bad anxiety episode no acknowledgement just a rushed oh well you will have 1-2 days to get it before its sent back. For almost 2k a month I would expect better. I would expect the grounds to be clear of bugs on the ground especially on the 4th floor. Im very close to taking the financial hit and breaking my lease as I deserve to feel comfortable at home especially since we are still in a pandemic even though TX ignoring it. If your a girls girl who doesnt want to fight bugs and just overall lack lustered experience keep looking.Update 4/20/22New management has taken over and they arent much better than the 1st. Our Luxe Lockers was down and they removed all packages mine included when I came to pick it up from the office it was magically not in the mix. After presenting evidence that it was it mysteriously came up the next day. No apology no ownership. We are being charged for a rogue valet trash vendor with no valet service. If it werent 6k to get out of this lease I would move because bug infestation and lack of proper care for the price is uncivilized.
I visited over 12 apartment communities before deciding to live at Sovereign Twin Creeks. Ashley was in a temporary office and when I called asking to see an apartment she quickly came to the apartment to show me around.She was so helpful and patient through the entire process. Her knowledge of the floor plans and finishes was impressive. She made us feel comfortable and always responsive to all my communication.At the end I did not move into the property due to job change but this is the place to live. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a nice property without closed corridors and with garages that open into a hallway. I would ask for Ashley she is the best!
Beware of apartment A328. They will steal your food deliveries and not answer the door. I do not suggest renting an apartment near this unit!Wouldn’t recommend moving here unless you don’t mind feeling like you’re in a small earthquake 24/7. The apartment constantly shakes. Even fully furnished, on top of your bed or lying on the couch, you can feel yourself constantly shaking so much that the dishes in the dishwasher rattle, my furniture is visibly bouncing up and down, and bottles knock around on the counter. I have a video but I’m unable to post it here.Edited to add: apartment still has shakes daily. I live near the pool, and you can hear people loudly hanging out at the pool, playing music and yelling until midnight, sometimes even on weekdays, even though the pool is supposed to close at 10. Apartments are poorly designed. Walls are crooked, the master bedroom does not cool but the opposite side of the apartment gets freezing cold, there are paint splatters throughout the floor, the countertops are definitely NOT sealed and stain immediately if you drop something on them. The floor of the standing shower is not flat so the water pools up in one corner and just sits there. There is a huge bug problem in this complex. We spray for bugs regularly in and around our apartment and have still seen fruit flies and cockroaches, despite how clean we are.Definitely over priced apartments considering the many issues myself and many others face.
Sovereign Twin Creeks have such a wonderful team that are assets to this place of business. Sam and Tiffany are dedicated to what they do and no matter what, the smiles on their faces are always welcoming. My family and I are excited because Tiffany displayed exceptional customer service skills to ease our move into the Sovereign Twin Creeks apartment. She has active listening skills, even over the phone no matter what her day is, her tone is always welcoming. Sam will always come out to help if she is not busy. Tiffany has patience that keeps the communication on track whenever we call. With this good experience I will not hesitate to recommend anyone to this beautiful facility. Thank you Sam and Tiffany.
ROACHES??? And Sovereign Twin Creeks have the audacity to charge this kind of rent!? It’s giving very much slum lord; Motel 6 uninhabitable living conditions. The way of living conditions today is insanely unacceptable and the rent should match such poor state of disarray.
I am a current resident and have lived here since august. After going and reading all of the other poor reviews it’s seems we all have the same problem. Within the first month of living here I had an extreme case of fire ants everywhere through out the unit so bad me and my daughter would get bit because they were the worst in the closets. Now I am tackling a gnat problem. I am a very clean person so I didn’t understand why I was having them. The countertops are not sealed I chose the white countertop finish and have to bleach them everyday so they won’t stain. The AC doesn’t flow into the master bath area. I am constantly running my ac to keep it cool in the master bedroom/bath while my daughters room stays freezing because of it. Cleary all of these issues are complex wide. I moved here in hopes of its being more luxury but some days I have regrets of not going a different route.
Apartments are brand new, been living here since June. For some reason, gnats are everywhere, spoke with pest control yesterday ( pest control came out after 2 weeks although we request it each time) he informed us that this is a problem throughout the apartment complex. He also said that this problem will need more than a once a week spray. Management has always been short staffed or over worked. Whenever I call the office I always hear about how overwhelmed they are with the amount of move ins and being short staffed. These apartments really have potential, I hope management really pays more attention to the residents they have and work up to its potential.
Great experience applying and living here so far. Our leasing manager, Ashley Blocker, helped us navigate the process from out of state. And although we ran into scheduling issues and other delays, Ashley was always communicative and worked with us to figure out the right accommodations to make it work out. Once here, weve loved living in this space; worth the wait.
Received five star customer service in my transition here from another state. I had the awesome pleasure of working with Tiffany who was a rock star throughout the entire process! She followed up via phone calls, text messages and emails, even thought I saw a few smoke signals from her while on the highway :). She was there to welcome and greet me with a smile upon my arrival. What could have been a very stressful process proved to be seamless because of my encounter with Tiffany. I love my new place and the location. All of the staff that Ive encountered thus far have been very nice, attentive and professional. Happy that I chose this place! Thank you Tiffany.
I have been dealing with Ashley in the leasing office for the past couple of months. She has been very helpful and responsive to emails and phone calls. To have a beautiful apartment and a great staff is a win win. If your looking to move to Allen, youll definitely want to check out Sovereign!

Absolutely love the property! It’s beautiful and the staff make it so much better! They are so friendly, always willing to help and make transitions so much easier. With Covid and all the craziness they definitely have made every process seamless and they definitely put their residents first! Thankful for Ashley as she continue to do an amazing job - professionalism and kindness goes a long way!.

I have lived here since June and never really had any problems until recently. There was an incident that occurred, It was reported to the assistant manager once reported the asst mgr was suppose to contact me with a resolution. I never heard back so I tried to speak with the property manager who was very defensive of protecting her employee of his wrong doing. She didnt try to investigate the issue or try to look into the issue or anything was just more profound on just wanting to tell me about a persons character at work which was irrelevant to the situation. I feel as a manager it was something that should have been looked into instead of taking one side. Also on top of that I contacted corporate and left a VM for the regional manager who till this day has never contacted me back. So at this time it has turned into where I will just have to file this incident with the court to handle since I was unable to get any kind of help. I am writing this review to let others know that if you ever have anything that may occur just know that you are the liar and management only looks out for there own, that is the reason why I will not renew my lease because poor management. I could go on for days about other things that are going on but at this point it really doesnt matter because I have reported those things to and still nothing.
I did not eventually go with Sovereign due to personal problems but I have no negative thoughts about the community. Its brand new and well designed. The floor plans are modern and reasonable price. I especially want to thank Tiffany Mitchell. She is super patient and prompt, and she showed me around and answered all my questions. I would def recommend this community!
Edited Review:I previously left a review about gnats but was called by Austin to switch my review because they will take care of the issue.. Therefore I changed it because pest came out.. However that didnt help the issue not sure if anything will help the gnats.. I am a very clean person also have a little one.. These gnats have gotten WORSE since pest came, we cant eat our food in peace, shower even piss in peace without gnats flying in our face or even landing in our food... talk about Upset..Ive seen dead gnats in my freezer, fridge, under my bathroom sinks,(no water leaks btw) even in my daughter dresser were her clothes are stored. Im note be sure if it is just us or if anyone else is having this issue. it is embarrassing to even invite friends or family over. Idk if this issue is because I am next to the trash chute or even dumpster. I am beyond disgusted.. & the staff/ office just doesnt care.. I hate to be the person to leave bad reviews.. but this is getting annoying..Been living here since June, love the property overall. Upon move in my AC unit was broken, Maint responded quickly to the issue. Unit had minor cosmetic issues as far as paint, etc. Office staff is very friendly & efficient just wished they would answer voicemail or at least attempt to return a call.
Me and my wife were initially 90 days out from getting an apartment until we met with Ashley while the buildings where being built, we liked how Ashley was professional answered all my 10,000,000 questions , she ensured a smooth move in process and is still answering my questions. Visually appealing apartment, and it ends there. Issues from day one.- Gnats are insane here. You will literally spend time everyday fanning and killing them. We have put in the plug in sticky trappers in every room, and they are loaded with dead gnats. Try cooking in that environment. Gnats in fridge, gnats in microwave, gnats in bathroom. I could go on, but you get the gist. The elevator has several gnats flying all over also. I do not get why a brand new community would not bend over backwards to get to the bottom of this. I am nearly Obsessive about cleanliness, yet still this is my life now.- Other unidentifiable bugs are also an issue. Not as bad as gnats, but when you combine the two, whew, it’s a nightmare. Truly a waking nightmare to live here.- A/C does not cool all rooms. For me, bedroom/bathroom freezing, but other areas well below the 65 degrees I am forced to keep it at. Per maintenance, shut vents in cold area.. What?!?- After heavy rain you will walk in your apartment, directly into a puddle of water. Crazy right? But I’m not finished.- Valet trash picks up late, if at all.- Shower is fine, but hot water is actually Luke warmIn all sinks.- Loose faux tiles (keep some glue handy folks).Im sure I missed something, but just the issues noted above are enough to drive a sane person to the brink.To the Sovereign staff: please do not reply with the copy paste message reply you have continued to offer the other reviewers. Just get your community together. Call a real pest control company to pin point and rectify the issues. Get maintenance to seal every unit’s floor boards and weather stripping. Fix the a/c mess. Stop passing the buck, and just get things done. I’ve lived in new construction 6-7 times, and this is the most horrific, stressful, disengaged, and poorly tended apartment I have lived in.Take Care!
My experience at Sovereign Twin Creeks has been amazing all because of Jordaan. She is so awesome and was very helpful throughout the whole process. We met in person and she was so sweet and outgoing. She even ask to meet my dog, Nala. She is GREAT at what she does here at Sovereign Creeks. Additionally, I love the apartments inside and out. It’s located in a nice safe environment which is exactly what I been looking for. I’m soo excited about moving here!!!!

2022-03-03I just moved in and this has been an excellent experience! Tiffany was such a delight to work with. She answered my many, many, many questions over the course of 3 months. She was patient, professional and kind and was determined to make sure I had a great experience moving here. Did I mentioned she walked me directly to my door the day I moved in? When the door opened I was greeted by a Sovereign bottle of wine, because we all know moving is stressful! What an amazing touch! Everyone who works in the office is so kind, professional, and eager to help their residents. Lina is so sweet and even though I worked with Tiffany to find my new home, Lina is quick to offer assistance if Tiffany is not available and she always welcomes you with a huge smile. The property is beautiful and so well maintained. In taking a walk this morning I observed employees skimming and cleaning the pool, and someone walking around cleaning community grounds and the gym. It is clear that the employees take pride in ensuring the property is properly maintained and the residents are happy. The best part is that the apartment itself is so beautiful and modern. It is so quiet and clean here and I am excited I made the move.

Our team is beyond the most dedicated, hardworking and knowledgeable staff that I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my many years in property management. From Management, to Leasing, to Maintenance. Sam and Austin are top knotch! RPM has been such a blessing to be with since initially starting in this industry with Alliance. I’m proud to be here doing what I love, helping others and being surrounded by such a great team.The Design in the apartments are hard to find. Huge walk-in closets, dual vanity sinks, kitchen islands and tons of storage space. I love that we’re brand new and can offer options for color schemes, AND leasing incentives. It’s been a dream to work here, we have some amazing residents that truly make us laugh everyday. It’s maintenance appreciation week currently, and it warms my heart seeing all the residents coming by to bring a gift to show their appreciation for our hardworking maintenance team. I love it! ❤️

2022-04-29These are great apartments in a great area. We are still in the process of finding a new apartment that makes the most sense for our family, however I had to review the property solely on my interaction with the staff; specifically the management team. We were immediately greeted with a smile, they were extremely friendly and quick to respond to all and any questions we had. We were impressed with the amenities of the property, the cleanliness of the grounds and community spaces, and the spacious living area in the apartment itself. Whether or not this is our next move, it would be an amazing space for anybody to call “home.”

2022-05-18Just recently moved in and am so grateful I found one of the last one bedroom apartments on a ground floor in Allen. Ashley and the entire staff couldnt have been more professional and accommodating during the entire process. Its basically brand new with many extras that other places I searched didnt come close to providing their tenants. Its a very family friendly, pet friendly, singles friendly mix of people Im hoping to be apart of as long as theyll have me. Even the maintenance guys Ive run into around the grounds have been very polite and professional ready to answer and do whatever necessary make my newbie status feel not so awkward. As for whatever bug reviews Ive seen Ive had no issues so far and its Texas anyway, theres bugs here. Thank you Sovereign staff, youve proved above and beyond I made the right choice.

2022-02-23We are one of the first few resident of Sovereign Twin Creek. Suggested by a friend (who was also moving to the same community), we too booked the apartment.It is such a pleasure staying here.1) All the Office staff(Specially Lina Ike and Tiffany) is very helpful and supportive.2) Maintenance services are really quick.3) Top Rating School District.4) BEST thing about Sovereign is the Monthly parties ROCKS. That is an opportunity to know Neighbors and make friends. Organizers of these monthly parties Feliciana McClain and Tyler McClain are superb. I still remember the joyful Thanks giving Dinner party and Christmas party. Every party is very different and party ideas are out of the box. They also organize Aerobics, Title Boxing, Cycle Bar, Yoga Classes to name few. Love them.That adds to one of the reason of renewing our Lease here.Hope they keep on organizing such beautiful parties in future too.

2022-05-12I have lived here for two months. It has been the most horrible experience. The pervious reviews said that there were roaches and an insect problem with gnats, but the person that showed us the unit stated that the problem had been rectified. That was completely untrue. Their newest buildings have a roach infestation, a problem with gnats and all other kinds of insects. The ceilings are paper thin so you hear a lot of stumping and the talking from upstairs neighbors. On a regular I am awakened by dogs barking. I may as well live outside. My apartment is $1625 for a one bedroom and I feel just taken advantage of and lied to. I held off putting up a review to see if they would fix the problem or make necessary accommodations for me but nothing has happened besides spraying that doesn’t work. I currently have roach traps in my kitchen and on my corners been there for months. I so jumpy from all the roaches.

2021-08-28Been living at these new apartments since June 3rd and our experience here has been far from great. While the office staff is friendly and the maintenance team is phenomenal, the actual apartments themselves are cheaply made and have had multiple issues since move in. If you can’t tell from the other reviews, these apartments have pest issues. This issue presented itself within the first month of living here. When I woke up to a literal cockroach crawling on me in bed is when I had enough and contacted the regional property manager. He had the on-site property manager reach out to me but I missed her call. In her voicemail she mentioned she would email me but never did, and when I returned the call nobody answered so I left a voicemail and never heard back. I put in a maintenance request for pest control services and heard back quickly. After missing the initial time they were set to come out, pest control finally came out to spray around the end of July. It’s now August and I’ve found multiple ants crawling in through our front door since the weatherstripping is not placed properly, roaches in the kitchen cabinets containing pots and pans, and one crawling on the wall this morning.I have cleaners come monthly to clean the apartment, have lined the shelves of every cabinet, and keep this place spotless. I’ve never had any kind of bug issue until living here. With a brand new baby at home this is the last thing I should have to deal with, especially for what we’re paying in rent. 2021-11-02Just wanted to say that I am happy living here! Moved in, in July after coming home from living overseas for 10 years. I love the layout of my place and Ive just extended my lease for even longer than my original lease. There have been a few issues but that is normal for a new building as things settling in. Tiffany has been great! The maintenance team has been great too! Ive put in a few requests to fix things and they come out or contact me by the next day. I see alot of people complain about bugs, welcome to Texas!! I had spiders when I first moved in (Maintenance sprayed and I dont have them any more! You should see the ones in Australia, Texas spiders are nothing in comparison!!!). The gnats are a summer time thing and can come from new drains when the first start being used, vinegar and baking soda and hot water gets rid of them! Anyway, Its a great place to live and now that I have my stuff from overseas finally, its starting to feel like home!
