Myriam is on fire as a waitress. She is top notch. She should have a consulting business or training academy of her own. Every customer service oriented business needs personnel like her. 100 stars for Myriam.Everyones constitution is different. The food is unique. I found it too rich for me. All of the sauces piled on the dishes made my stomach unhappy. You have to try it to see if its for you.
Ordered what I thought would be some form of Eggs Benedict ended up getting Chuco Eggs Benedict...a toasted bolio, some sort of avocado paste, 1 slice of see thru deli meat, and a regular egg with some fancy sauce work. Paid $15 for a $7 dish... Theres no structure for the waitresses so its either terribly understaffed or they arent in sync. Food was excellent.
Never again. We stopped in for the sign outside the business: advertised micheladas $3 on a Saturday afternoon just to have the waitress tell us inside they were not $3 but $8....the outdoor sign will be replaced on Mondayyet their MENU...which was given to us at table stated $3Micheladas. We chose to stay and ordered a Heff from menu...waiting for drinks, the waitress returned saying were out of that beer and didnt offer a sub. Apparently no care for new customers.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Absolutely terrible I didnt know they made restaurants this horrible! Service is trash took over 2 hours just to get our appetizer not even the entree! She asked for our drink orders still took 30 minutes just for that! We ordered brisket tacos, straight trash, barely had any brisket no cheese, and the chips were stale. Wings nasty, Bacon wrapped shrimp terrible like how you mess up bacon!? Waitress kept rolling her eyes!Mimosa trash how can you change the price from $1 to $3 but keep the sign posted that says $1 Mimosas and the mimosas are disgusting, not even worth a $1. They should be embarrassed. Then we asked to cancel the order because it was taking literal hours to get them to bring things back and they said they cant because thats wasting food. WHAT!?! Maam weve been sitting here since 11am its now 2pm. Youre wasting our time and the table still doesnt have what we ordered. Kids are complaining about being hungry we would get better service at McDonalds!
Food was ok, I ordered a Portabella Mushroom Sandwich with fries, the appearance is kinda cheap like fast food, the taste was ok, tasted like Portabella. I didnt try their meaty burgers, but that so called vegetarian burger is a waste of money, simply a bun and a grilled Portabella mushroom in between
For 23oz draft beer priced at $8.99, its disappointing to get consistently flat beer in a room temperature plastic ale glass. That screams Applebees quality. The food however is fantastic and adequately priced. Great atmosphere and outdoor patio area. The 3 stars is specifically for being called a Beer Garden and not really acting like one.
The interior decorating is very pleasing however it was very hot & the music was playing incredibly loud for a sunday brunch. The service was slow & it probably took me close to 10 minutes to get my drink & 20 to get our appetizer. For what the food is, it’s definitely overpriced; a brunch for two people will probably run you about $50-$60 for small portions.
Had a wonderful first experience. They were short staffed but the servers were hustling and the food was great. With our hopes high we stop again and WOW they had a full crew so we knew it would be even better. Well, we were wrong! Sat for 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, they saw us come in because they told us to pick our seat. Once service started we were hopeful it was just a glitch - it was not. The food was luke warm, our glasses were empty, and the staff was gathered at the bar with the 2 managers. Perhaps this was a training day? We will never know as we have no plans for a return visit.
Walked in, waited for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us on an empty restaurant. 4 waitresses with poor presentation and chit-chatting. I approached one of them and asked what is it that we were waiting for and she said, they were just waiting on the kitchen to settle and get caught up, because they were understaffed, which is completely understandable and agreeable. I guess my complaint here is the lack of training and the poor service this place has. They could have just sat us, offer us drinks and explained the situation, which would have been completely ok
Went in for brunch yesterday they didnt have 2 items that were on the menu got my food and honestly wasnt impressed by anything we ordered. Green chilaquiles were dry the eggs were fried hard and normally chilaquiles have over easy eggs, nor to mention they were cold. and was overcharged for the mimosa. Definitely not going back for brunch server was nice but thats about it I could have made better food at home
TLDR - Food is inconsistent, Service was inexperienced, Menu is incorrect, and yelling staff led to a terrible experience.I remember when Steve-Os opened up their first spot so many years ago. I dont live in El Paso anymore but I did have fond memories of the spot.Fast forward to my most current outing and it was nothing short of horrible. The ingredients on the menu arent accurate to the food that was recieved. My wife got a salad that included almonds but not walnuts. One of there other salads showed walnuts but not the strawberry one she ordered. Well, unfortunately my wife who is allergic to walnuts recieved a strawberry salad with walnuts. Luckily, she only took one bite and had a mild reaction of small hives in mouth, and enlarged tonsils. They didnt offer much more than an insincere. apology and removed it from the ticket. The second thing that occurred was the chefs I the kitchen fighting and yelling. You could hear the chef angry about the waitress who rang up a special. It is my assumption that they 86d the item and ventted his frustration for all the customers to hear. The third issue was while I waited for my partners new plate to be ready I asked them if they could reheat my current plate. I didnt want anything new just throw it in the oven or the microwave. They said of course they could do that, and took my plate. About 5 minutes later she returned and said they were going to just give me a new plate. However, at that point it would have been another 20 minutes until it would be ready and we would be back to square one. I asked them to just not bring me a new meal. Which they removed from the plate. From a taste stand point the things that were ordered was:Enchilada special - 3/10 shredded chicken was bland and the rice tasted rushed and mushy. Green sauce tasted like the Old El Paso can product.. Im guessing that is why they removed said item from the menu.Red Chilaquiles - 2/10 the Colorado sauce wasoversalted, brisket tasted old as if it was in a heated tray waiting to be place on the plate. Eggs were cooked correctly so thats a plus.Strawberry Salad - 0/10 item is at stated from the menu. Its possible they ran out of almonds or prefer the cheaper walnut that is currently in season. However, that is dangerous and could have hurt someone.Tatziki Fries - 3/10 the fries were cooked well, but it tasted as if they were trying to throw in your face that this is a Greek food. Too much of each ingredient took away from a complete dish and tasted messy.Mimosa - 3/10 it tasted like orange water and flat champagne. They are also in very small plastic cups which feels strange to drink from. From a service stand point: 2/10Hostess was quick to seat us, but the waitress took time to come get our drink order. She was borderline decent, but seemed inexperienced in handling escalated issues. Apologies were insincere and she didnt return frequently enough to refill drinks or check on the table. This was reaffirmed when we asked about menu items and she needed to ask the kitchen each time.Definately do not recommend anyone spend money here. The choices in El Paso are slim, but you are better off picking up Lean Cuisine from Walmart then eating at Steve-Os.
Steve-Os again knocked it out of the park! I got to try their Hawaiian version hamburger and it did not disappoint one bit! I am really happy that they made my burger medium rare correctly. Many places cant do medium rare even if their life depended on it. Beer was on point as well. They had local faves like Odes Juicy J and Deadbeachs Brown Bonnie. They even have Kona Brewings Big Wave! I got the one from Albuquerque, Marbles Cholo Stout! That is a definite winner! A new favorite! I love the ambience on the patio. If you go there on a day that has good weather, its a way better experience!
Worst , Worst expert ever . Our Spinach dip was cold. We had to send it back. Our waitress didn’t really care had a attitude as well. Our food took over an hour to receive. Would not recommend this place to anyone. If you gonna throw your money out there do it somewhere else . At least a place who apologizes to you. Management needs to be way better . Staff needs to care a bit more. We paying for this food we ain’t getting it free.
Went for the first time yesterday, place looks nice. Food is ok, drinks were really good. My only complaint is that they leave the doors open for the people dining outside in the patio and all the flies go inside and literally every 20 seconds we had to stop flies from getting to our food. It was really frustrating i wanted to hang out a bit longer but then other tiny bugs started coming inside.
Unfortunately we ended up going to STEVE Os for lunch... the table was dirty & when I asked the hostess to wipe it down it seemed she was afraid to get her hands dirty, so I asked her for the cleaning rag & did it myself. Our food was not prepared like we requested it, which was wings well done they where soggy & looked raw. Our waitress decided to go to lunch without tell us.. I had to flag the hostess down twice one for refills & the other time to take our raw wings back to the cook. When we where ready to leave I had to get up & ask for my tab. It’s unfortunate due to this incident I will never again waist my time or money going to STEVE Os. HIGHLY not recommend.
First and Last time. Beer was warm. Server said they couldn’t do anything about it. Shrimp smelled bad, and a Burger had plastic chorizo casing in it. I asked to speak to the manager, he was sitting in a booth next to our party ( 10 people during the lunch hour.) He didn’t even get up to apologize, he said I will talk to the cooks!?!? I asked him for his name and he said Steve….. the owner? I would give a negative star if I could. Save yourself an overpriced, terrible experience.
They had an option for Door Dash. I ordered from Door Dash. They CONFIRMED the order. They allowed the driver to arrive there expecting to pick up the order. The driver called to let me know their system is down. My order is cancelled and all restaurants are now closed and I cant place an order at a different place. Door Dash tried to contact them and they ignored the calls. Seems like from the other reviews, its just a restaurant that acts on self-convenience through undeserved and misinterpreted confidence versus catering to the customer. Theres hundreds of restaurants around here. Dont waste your time on a restaurant that severely lacks this much professionalism. With their high prices backed by their customer relations (or lack of), Burger King would satisfy the individual more in proportion.
This place is awesome! The surfs up poke bowl is so good. I was nervous to order fish at a place that is know for burgers but it was so fresh. Our bartender Genesis was great she made good recommendations for beer since there list is so big. The location is so cool I felt like I was in a different city. Will be back soon
Ive been here three times and the first two visits were great. However, my last visit (Saturday) was just terrible. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to come by and take our drink orders. Then, my 915 bowl took forever to come out, while all the other food came out quickly. Now had it been busy, Id understand, but there was very people with a bunch of servers just walking around. It almost seemed like no one worked there. Reason I gave two stars; the food was good.
I ordered on line thinking it would be better because in can type in specific instructions. BAD idea! Trusting their service we didnt check the food until we got home. The burgers were completely burned, I ask for no cheese on one of the meals and it had cheese. The nachos were cold, I told them Pico de gallo on the side and it was on top, I paid for guac and didnt get any. I called to speak with the manager he offered to fix the order but told me it would take a while because they were swamped. Very unpleasant. I didnt order fast-food because I want to but local. Never again will I order from this place.
The Dreadbeach Abuelita Stout was really good and dark! The sweet potato fries are super good. The brisket nachos could’ve had a little more brisket fir the price. Asada tacos had a weird taste. Like too much oil in the tortilla and not a good oil. Overall good atmosphere cause of the decor.
It’s amazing Google doesn’t allow 0 stars. Have been many a times and the last 3 were worse than watching Green Lantern on repeat for your entire life. Stevie Wonder could find and assist our table faster. It’s impressive they have such a great space designed by Chip and Joanna (not true) but then manage it like it’s a chuckee cheese full of anthrax. I’d recommend them to someone who never regained their sense of smell or taste because of Covid or that simply likes staring at the staff as the wonder around like they’re on a quest to offer awful service.
Never. Again. John Taffer would have a flipping field day with this place. Today was our first time visiting after a year and a half break, and now I remember why we swore it off in the first place. Its cute and trendy and the food is tasty, but thats where it ends. They seem to be crippled with understaffing, and the waitstaff that are there have a laissez-faire attitude about serving at all. My husband and I had to yell across the table to each other because the *sweet* house music was outrageously loud. Im still not sure my margarita had any tequila in it....
Buyer beware, according to the manager (Dedra) if you purchase a shroom burger on the Wednesday special it doesnt come with caramelized onions. Perhaps the onion have been hit hard by inflation. To be fully transparent this is my second encounter with poor management at this place.I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND
I used to enjoy this spot but the food quality is not the same. Additionally, they promote their Brunch with a huge sign out front that offers $3 Red Beers/Micheladas and $1 Mimosas. But the red beer is actually not part of the promotion. So you end up paying $7.99. Till this day they haven’t taken down the sign.
Food is ok but over priced. HORRIBLE service. I went on Sunday for brunch I arrived at 3:30 to try their brunch menu our drinks took 35 min to finally arrive to our table. So when our server took our order and I tried ordering from the brunch menu, she said since it was after 4pm I couldn’t order anymore brunch. I arrived before 4 for a reason. It’s not my fault they took FOREVER to take my order. I also work in the industry so I would completely understand if they were slammed, but they weren’t. Our service was so slow and unacceptable that no one in my group of friends left a tip. Only 3 times in my life I have not left a tip when dinning out . You guys need to understand my experience there was so bad that this is the first time ever I left any type of review good or bad. Don’t WASTE your money like I did.
Lack of professionalism, owner is simply rude to his own employees. After making a complaint based on the food table was not even acknowledge. As an owner please take time and take your customers input and feedback that will only help your business grow. As of now you have lost 11 customers and remember word by mouth is everything.
Been here several times for brunch and dinner. No es gran cosa. It’s not that great. The idea of the food always sounds delicious but the execution is off. Like the ratio of ingredients isn’t right, the buns on the burgers don’t go with the burger, coffee in the morning is cold. I think they should focus on the quality control a little better. It could be really great. The other location has been amazing.
Excellent food! We come here for taco Tuesday and are never disappointed. Our server, Alexis, was pleasant, friendly, professional and attentive. We’ll ask to be seated in her section again.Thank you for feeding us yummy tacos in such a great atmosphere! And thanks to Alexis for taking care of us tonight!
The service was poor and the waiter was cocky and rude. My friend and I decided to try this place for the first time for their $1 margarita promotion and left annoyed and disappointed. We both ordered regular margaritas and the waiter asked if we wanted to make them flavored and we said sure because we assumed it was part of the promotion since he offered to make them flavored. He never disclosed to us that it would be regular price if we had flavored margaritas. What makes it worse is the margaritas were extremely weak $7.99 for essentially flavored water with a drop of tequila. If we were paying full price for the margaritas and he knew that then they could have at least been stronger. When we received our bill’s they were higher than anticipated and when we asked the waiter about the promotion he began coping an attitude. Then he told us well the promotion is only for regular margaritas and not flavored and began acting argumentative and unprofessional. Instead of causing a scene we just paid for the tabs and left. I’ve worked as a waitress and I would always disclose information to my customers if it involved certain guidelines to promotions. I found it to be sleazy and just a motive to have a higher tab in the hopes that his tip would be higher. I would have gave him a $20 tip if he earned it but because of his attitude he didn’t. I ordered a salad and it was amazing and the portion size was great and that is the only reason I’m giving this establishment 2 stars instead of 1. You can have great food but if you have poor customer service then you lost my business and anyone else who ask me about this place.
Terrible service. Sat there for 15 minutes and nobody came to attend us. We asked the waitress if we could order food and she had a terrible attitude asking “well who’s your server”. She clearly did not want to serve us…. Waste of time! Really disappointed as this was my first time here.
I went to the Tierra Este location and it was my absolute best dining Experience in weeks. Our server was Laryn. Never have I received such expert knowledge, and kindness. If it were possible to have her as my server at every restaurant, I would never eat at home again. The food was INCREDIBLE everything was extremely fresh, and the portions are generous. The flavors will blow you away. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning to this location in the very near future!
Horrible. Tried to order 3 different IPAs and none were available. Ordered a burger without cheese, the cook added cheese and the server corrected but it was a obvious that the cheese was just scrapped off. My husband ordered the donut burger from the brunch menu and they didn’t have donuts!! Brunch without donuts?! AND the paper towel dispenser in the bathroom is busted and there isn’t an air dryer. So disgusted. Don’t waste your time or money.
A party of 8 people came into this establishment for the New Years promotion of $5 burgers/fries, $1 shots, $2 beers. I ordered an old fashioned and got this .5 oz mistake of a “cocktail” in a glass with ice. I was told that this is just “how they do it”. After complaining to the manager I got an overly sweet old fashioned. FINE. I’ll pay. I ordered a round (8) beers for the group. A friend ordered 8 $1 shots. They ran out of the promotion and offered an alternative. After confirming that they were indeed $1 we agreed to take the alt. His tab came out to a $8 a shot. We tried explaining that there was a misunderstanding and that we were told $1 shot would be distributed. His tab? A total of $64 dollars ON SHOTS!! The rest of the group received different amounts of food that we didn’t order. My ticket had 4 burgers charged and the same happened to others at the table. We complained and the manager said that the waitress would be terminated and she would have to pick up the tab but that if we don’t pay our tab the police will be called. The fact that they gamble with employees is disgusting. I paid the tab and there was no attempt to rectify the mistake. This is no place to spend your money. My group is absolutely appalled. If you cannot support the crowd with experienced and knowledgeable staff, DO NOT HOLD THE PROMOTION. To prospective customers, BEWARE. STAY AWAY.
My family and I went to this particular Steve-O’s for the first time and the service was spectacular. Since it is our first time, our server, Alysia, explained the menu. The food was delicious. They were very attentive and fast. The GM Drina Hernandez constantly checked on us and we saw her checked each plate that comes out prior to taking it to the customers. The venue looks great, it is clean and inviting. We will definitely be coming back.
So I decided to give this place a 3rd try and they are consistent with horrible service... we waited 10 min to be greeted at the door, then another 10 min for them to find our Server. Our order was taken and we proceeded to wait 45 min only to be told we would have to wait another 10-15 minutes due to them only having one cook in the back because the other 2 were taking a break. We asked for management only for them to tell us that he was next door at their sister restaurant Sancho in which we had left from to try and get better service at Steve Os. Clearly the common denominator is management and ownership at both establishments. I highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs.. at the end of the day they serve burgers, tacos and basic bar food...🤷♂️
Stevos was by far our best burger place, but since covid their service has declined. My wife and I were craving Steve Os, they let us know its about a 40 minute wait. We placed our name and phone number down and patiently waited in the car as asked. An hour went by we went back inside and they said sorry we were about to call you, unfortunately we ran out of food. With everything closing early our choices were limited and date night was ruined.
My husband and I had looked forward to trying this place out, but upon arrival we were not greeted by the three to four servers who were staring at us as we walked through the door looking for an available table. It took a while before we were actually acknowledged. Sadly, I dont recall our servers name, but she provided good service 👍🏼. We had our baby with us and we werent sure whether or not there were high chairs available until we saw our server provide a high chair for another table-- well we didnt ask but neither did our server offer one up (you get the point). Anyways, what bummed us out was that there was no baby changing table in the restroom, but I mean its a place where the word beer is in the name so oh well 😕. For the most part, we enjoyed our food. Hopefully it will be better next time around.
The food was good but ordered for pick-up to respect peoples health and COVID restrictions and they cant even get that order correct. It was not like we ordered one burger. the order was for pick-up and we even left a 20.00 tip because of COVID. we have called numerous times since yesterday and have yet to hear from any member of leadership.
I went here with my wife to try out the tacos. We were seated right away at the bar. It has a cabana feel, the weather was just right, the food was beyond my expectations, and the service was wonderful. Genesis was the bartender, who made sure to go out of her way to check on us, make us feel special, and suggested the best appetizers and dessert. 10 out of 10, will go again!
We were some of a few customers on Saturday night, so we figured everything would be timely and fresh. That was not the case, as we were very disappointed. We ordered appetizers, the wings and brisket nachos. They came out after a good while, but as we started on the nachos, we immediately noticed that it had pulled pork, and very little of it. We asked the waitress what the meat was and she couldnt identify what it was, so we asked for the manager. After about 10 minutes, he came over and as we told him the issue, he already knew and apologized for running out of brisket and they shouldve mentioned it when we ordered. What was upsetting was that they tried to play it off as something that it wasnt, thinking we wouldnt notice. Totally not worth the price.
The burger was amazing. Great waitress. However, there was hair in my dates food and literally two onion rings had hair. Not sure what is going on in the kitchen, but I couldnt eat anymore. Its disgusting. Even the left over stuff I brought had a hair in it. It sort of killed the vibe. Here I am paying 70 bucks plus tips for food that has hair? I even took pictures of the hair fried into the food.
Trash tried it on two separate occasions. Ordered an old fashion and when they brought me the drink is was served in a shot glass. Then I ordered a beer and it came out flat and tasted it watered down. Let’s talk about the staff would rather talk to amongst themselves at the bar instead of doing their job my table and several other tables ran out of drinks. Then like a bunch of other reviews the food wait times are an hour! Blacklisted never going back
Great vibes, great set up. Its obvious that no expense was spared. The heaters they have installed on the patio area work amazingly. Great beer selection, raspberry beer is a must try. From what I have observed they have a good selection of liquor, but they did not have Red Breast whiskey. I hope they consider adding it to there shelves. Service does need some improvement, they are a bit slow. Only 2 high chairs are available, they may want to consider purchasing a few more. Cuban sandwich, with a house salad is my dish of choice here.
Really loved the place itself really well maintained! Clean good smell! Love the theme very calm and chill spot to eat and hang around customer service wise the Host was amazing really polite on point to everything she was doing sat us where we wanted everything waitress was good to us food was amazing great burgers and tacos the hell paso was great! Overall great experience Host great work ethic keep up!
Great atmosphere! There was a little bit of a wait but Jose, the manager, offered us drinks and gave us the menu to look over before we were seated. The food was delicious we had the pulled pork loaded fries for an appetizer and everyone enjoyed their entrée. Wait staff was very attentive and nice.
Wife and I visited during their Oktoberfest celebration and were warmly greeted by Lexy at the bar. My wife requested the sauce for her sandwich and dressing for her salad be on the side. When the order came we quickly realized the sauce and dressing were not on the side. Not only that, but the sandwich wasnt even on the type of bread as advertised on the menu. Lexy was quick to remedy the situation and had my wifes order remade. Order was correct the second time around. We stayed a few hours enjoying our food, drinks, the live band, and the company of Lexy our server.
Food was fresh and the burgers are unique. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Drinks were refreshing and a great selection of beer. Management or owners seemed to have passion on what they do. Great place to have parties especially due the cleanliness and space plus they have a beautiful patio ready for the spring. Thanks Steveos for being local
Nice place with good food. The food came out pretty quick but we had the misfortune of being waited on by mediocre waiter. The gentleman seemed lost half the time and was not proactive at all. I literally had to flag him down everytime we needed a refill after he walked by us several times and not once did he ask if we needed anything or just took the initiative to refill our glasses with water nor our drinks. The bartender was also somewhat rude as we were trying to be seated and she kept insisting someone was ahead of us even though the waitstaff told to find a table and we could sit down. We ordered drinks one of them being a Margarota and it was so sweet it was literally syrup. We asked the waiter to take it back as it was undrinkable and he came back saying that the bartender said it was fine. Ill come again in the Hopes that I dont get the same waiter or bartender. He turned what would have been a great night into a disappointing visit. 3 stars for now until my next visit. Hopefully management can train their waiters better.
With all these bad reviews with hair in peoples food & bad customer service. I recommend you to go to BJ’s Restaurant!!! They got great food, waiters/ waitresses come & check on you. Great drinks & varieties of beers. Manager is always walking around talking to his customers & making sure everyone is doing good. Sorry But I will never eat at your restaurant with your flies & hair. Just plain gross!
The service is great , they constantly checked up on us and brought out delicious drinks and yummy food. Our waitress Jennifer worked diligently to make sure we were taken care of. Also, the manager Jose frequently made his way over to check up on my table. Really good service overall !
The second I walked in I was greeted by nearly the entire staff! The atmosphere and design of the restaurant definitely takes you to the west coast. The food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Enchilada Burger!!! We will continue to come to this place from here on out...
Atmosphere is beautiful but Dissatisfied with the experience the lee Trevino location is way better. Sat outside & it Took forever to get us our drinks way too long for our appetizers to come out. server didn’t ask how we wanted our burgers cooked so they were pink in the middle which i cannot eat and tasteless as well. Fish tacos were nothing special way too over priced for 3 little tacos i asked for pico on the side and they didn’t bring it. The fries are good. I’m only giving 3 stars since The General manager did come out and apologized, comp’d our ticket which i appreciate because my family and i didn’t get to fully enjoy our meals. Wanted to like it so much but most likely won’t be returning.
I honestly come here cause I really like the food. But unfortunately, it’s inconsistent. Bacon wrapped shrimp sometimes way undercooked. It’s a hit or misss here on the food. Menu items top notch but wished was always the same. Service: Well....good but if busy, ALWAYS SUCKS!!!! :( Owner manages but has not idea what she’s doing when it come to customer service. Also seen her treat her employees badly in front of customer. Unprofessional. Hopefully it turns around someday.
My husband and I arrived at Steve Os for the first time Fri. June 12, 2020. None of the wait staff or cooks were wearing masks! When asked, the waitress say they didnt have to wear masks. We ordered drinks first. The draft beer was green and flat. We were told it had been sitting in the keg since St. Patricks day. They actually still served it to us. Of course we sent it back as it was undrinkable. Next, we ordered an order of Brisket nachos to share. After an usually long wait, they were finally served. What a disappointment! The platter was large and it was mostly tostadas with no cheese. The small amount of cheese was watered down! There were three tiny pieces of Brisket measuring 1/2 inch. Two of those were grizzled fat and unedible. The rest of the ingredients were canned jalapeños slices. Needless to say these were the WORST nachos weve ever had. We will not go back to this place that was overpriced with slow service! I give it one 🌟.
Been here 3 times... love the food and drinks, however, every time I give it another try, I regret it. My sister and I got through the doors at 12:00 pm sharp, no hostess was available so we sat on our own. 12:06 I got up to ask the bartender for menus because no one seemed to notice us. We ordered our food and an hour later, we’re still sitting without a bite, without refills or a visit from out waitress. I spoke to the manager, and he stated he would check on our food but never made it anywhere near the kitchen. The most frustrating thing is that the restaurant was half empty when we arrived. Not the type to complain, but this is ridiculous.
Walked in and the place was hot. Sat at a booth and it was dirty and constantly bothered by flies. Saw lots of flies in the establishment. The waitress was nice and attentive but when I asked for lemons they were out. I asked for Ranch dressing and they were out. They charge for refills on tea. The food was so- so.This experience was horrible. I do not recommend and I will not come back at all.
It takes a lot to get me to post a review. They clearly put a lot of money into remodeling, and they are trying to make it back by serving mediocre, over-priced food. Paid $45 for a cheeseburger, fish tacos, and a warm draft beer. Basic cheeseburger would have been cooked perfectly had it not been cold in the middle. Fries were cold and cost $2.50 extra on top of a $12 burger. Waitress was slow and didnt listen to any requests, I asked for no tomato on the burger-it came with 2, I asked for no lemon in the water, it came with lemon, but no ice. Nothing special to the fish tacos, just fried fish with slaw.
The ambience is quite nice and the staff super friendly. The way they brought out their coffee blew me away, lol. Their coffee comes with a dollop of whip of cream, a strawberry that was sliced, a few blue berries and two sides that contained creamer and sugar; I’ve never seen that before. The food was delicious and the presentation real good. The only draw back was the wait time for the food; there were barely a hand full of people in the restaurant so perhaps they were down in the kitchen. However I would still come back. :)
Over all it was just ok. Staff seemed to be very slow or unaware of what their job are. Lots of them just standing around, not waiting on the tables. 2 people as hostess. Extremely slow service.Price are expensive for average food. Drink price expensive for small glasses.Out side looks nice but no tables available as they have 2 large party’s later, been here over a hour and no one yet has arrived for outside.I think it has the potential to be a great restaurant if management would train staff better, lower prices or improve the food.Burger was undercooked. Terrible. The house salad dressing lemon olive oil and sugar? It had way way to much sugar in it. Ruined the salad.Management really need to up there game and manage the staff. Show them what is expected from them.
My family came to eat on April 18 2019 and our server was such a blessing She was patient and so smiley. It really made my wifes day and my kids to. When we asked her how long she worked here she said it was actually her first day She did wonderful (w no help) and we hope to get her again as a server since the service was so good. We enjoyed the food too and my wife liked the pokey bowl. But my wife said another young lady with long black hair approached her and apologized on behalf of our server being new and told her that she was our real server. We never saw her n she didnt wait on our table once. Very arrogant behavior of this woman to do.!! My wife was not happy about this. However we cant wait to return and eat there again. Our waitress even labeled our leftovers for us with a nice note.!! Way to go layrn on your new job and being so great !!
We tried the brisket nachos, and the surfside poké. Both were pretty spectacular. The environment was very laid back, bright natural colors and a very nice patio bar area. We were seated immediately and our server went beyond expectations. Overall a great experience would go again.
I was in town for business from Albuquerque, NM, and randomly walked into this restaurant from a gym, I was working out at next door. The owner himself greeted me, and even though they were close to closing, offered me a seat, as he could tell I had had a long day. The owner along with his wife, were very hospitable, and the customer service was the kind you would see at restaurants that offer $200 plates. The registers were closed by the time I was done talking with the staff, and he gave me my drinks on the house. I have only seen this type of warm atmosphere in restaurants in Europe and upscale Soho in New York, and the type of energy at this place is very rare. I stopped in tonight to get a to go plate, as I had not tasted the food, and the food was simply amazing. Whenever I come to El Paso, I will definitely stop here, and I have to say of all the restaurants I ate at here in El Paso, this restaurant was simply the best, and the one that impressed me the most, and my family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. I highly recommend stopping in if you have not, and savoring some of the amazing food.
Second time coming this month and we absolutely loved it, again. I ordered an avocado chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the Hell Paso burger with a fried egg that was highly recommended by our server Mercedes. She was very knowledgeable and was able to guide us when ordering beers. Can’t wait to come back!
So this place is nice to look at and atmosphere is great.... but that’s where it stops. It took forever to get our drinks and water. When we ordered our food that took forever as well. By the time we got it, the food was cold. I sent my fries back cause of it. Bad part is the restaurant wasn’t even full. I think we where like 10 people. I might give it another shot....
My experience at Steve-O’s has been great that I try and make it out there often. The food is great and the service is awesome. I also like that the staff keeps the bathroom clean as well the tables etc. I really like that Steve-O’s also has $5 Taco days or burger days , makes it easier to feed a family after a long day.
My family and I showed up and checked in with the hostess. We were informed by the hostess the wait was 20-25 minutes for four people. We proceeded to wait about 10-15 minutes and immediately noticed there were two people sitting in the entire dining room. Multiple tables and booths (translation: all but one table was seated with people) were open throughout the main dining room. The only explanation we could come up with was they reserve tables. We decided to take our business somewhere else as did several other families. Not a good impression at all since weve been wanting to try this restaurant.
Warning way way overpriced!!! They have a nice looking out door area. But other than that I was not impressed at all. The staff seemed like they were to stoned or just don’t want to be here. From the hostess to our waiter. The hostess didn’t even seat us. She told us to just find a seat and then brought us menus after we had been sitting for a little bit. She wasn’t busy and there were two hostess so there is no reason for taking so long. As I said everything is way over priced. Ordered a margarita and it might as well been a shot it was so small. Food was ok nothing special and definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend wasting your money here.
BEST DINING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. Besides the food being so delicious, our server Joanna gave us the best service we’ve ever had. She was so attentive even with it being a full house, she cared for my kids, she gave my son DJ one of her green ST Patrick’s beads, and made sure we were satisfied overall. I had to express my gratitude so I requested to speak to management, a male came first and he was very respectful and kind. Then the general manager came to check on us her name Is Derina, she was so nice and greatful about our feedback. We were amazed and impressed about everything. We tried some tasty ceviche, delicious wings, and had the best Mac n cheese ever. Then got the best burgers in El Paso, the Hell paso and the shroom. We will be going back next week hungry for more. Thank you ❤️
Good food. Service needs training though. We were handed brunch menus at 1:30pm...Our table and both tables around us constantly tried to signal down staff for refills only to be ignored. The table next to us complained to the manager. We were going to do the same but decided to just pay our bill and leave. I had asked one waitress for a beer menu that was in her hand... She replied we dont have a beer menu but you can look at this she then handed me the cocktail list on the back of the brunch menu... Im not sure she understood the difference between a cocktail and a beer...My wife jumped in and said isnt there a beer list on the back of the menu? She said yes but its not a beer menu. She then walked away. I was going to try the dunkle but 15 minutes lapsed before seeing anyone. (We tried signaling verbally and physically). When our food finally came I opted not to order a beer and just stick with water. When the food came was the first time we were offered a refill even though our glasses had been empty for some time.
Very nice looking place except they had the windows to the bar, and a side door open to the beer garden. It was hot and stuffy inside, plus several annoying flies. When we tried to have the waitress help us, she kept making excuses for reasons why they couldnt make it more comfortable for us in this 106 degree weather during the day. As she was openly explaining the situation to her boss, she looked very bothered. So, one of us went to them to tell them not to bother, and we would take our business elsewhere. All the manager said was he understood. So much for apologies. We ended up apologizing. So much for good customer service. We will not be returning, ever. Had to press the rating in order for me to post. I really give them NO STARS.
The Hostess had no clue what she was doing. Didnt provide us Silverware. The waitress was over sensitive about our opinions. Mind you she did ask us... The food took forever to come out. Not packed and they were Bcaked up in the Kitchen. Overrated place. I enjoyed the Location on Lee Trevino so much more.
Honestly I used to love their menu at their old location. It seems like they took out some of their best items to replaced them with poke bowls. For the price the food isn’t filling at all drinks are over priced so wouldn’t be my choice for a place to stay for multiple drinks. It’s a cool “Instagram” worthy place but that’s about it.
Came here because my sister raved about the service and food. Super disappointed. I cant even write about the food because after about 50 mins of waiting I still havent had my food while the rest of my family already finished their meals. I cant imagine letting them wait for me to get mine. Anyhow after waiting for so long I will definitely not be back! Nor would I recommend you coming if you want to eat along with your family.
I had the best experience at SteveOs! Lexi was a sweetheart and so welcoming, plus she made me the best whiskey drink. I don’t drink whiskey but she did her magic and I loved it. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Lexi! See you soon and keep up the great customer service. 😊
I ate lunch here on Saturday early. I wish I had first checked the reviews not the short sweet five star reviews. The real ones not written by friends, family and empolyees. The service was terrible thank goodness there were only five other people inside or the three servers would have been even slower if that is possible. The food was as bland as hospital food and cold. The burgers even though ordered at different levels of doneness were both over cooked. When asked if everything is ok with we answered not really the food is cold and not as ordered. The response was ok sorry. I could go on and on about how this place has died since it opened at this location but people already seem to know it. My advice save your money this over priced garbage is not worth it.
I never use this but I think its overdue. Place full of flies, could not enjoy my meal, we were not in the patio. Food takes a long time to be served, we asked for a subtle change in one of the plates, the rest of the table was done with their plates by the time the waitress came with the suggested plate and on top the waitress seemed upset that she had to accomodate the costumer. I had to wave and keep my hand up for some time for 1 of the waitresses to notice our table needed help. This is my 3rd time here, everytime I hope to have a better experience but sadly everytime is worst than the last. I always think, ok, maybe it was just the waitress not having a best moment, lets give them a chance. No more chances. Maybe just for drinks but thats it.
The food was pretty good but the service was lacking. Our waitress never checked on us, we saw her when she took the order and to get the check. It was pretty dead too with only 2 other couples there, yet the staff was never out on the floor. This isnt my first bad experience with steve os though so its my mistake trying it again.
Starting with an unfriendly hostess, to the dirty table she assigned us, to the second table by the restroom ( which I could smell the restroom odors every time the door was open) she assigned, never mind that the place was less then half empty. Then waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to come and at least offer us water. Once we got service, it was an eternity for the waitress to come back. We had to go and find someone to pay our bill. Food is OVER priced for the quality and the wine was no Cabernet ... it was not good and I call that mis advertising. Way overpriced for boxed wine.
It took so long to take our order. Then I asked for a paloma drink then brought me water my paloma drink took so long to come while bartender on counter top dancing and trying to give Fireball shot straight from bottle bartender looked tipsy. Then brought me a total different kind of drink than my paloma and was on the house. If you need real mix drinks, go elsewhere.Good food bad service!
Didn’t even make it to the food. Wait wait in honesty we got the cheese dip stuff. Gross cause it was cold and that came before the simple drinks we ordered. Like put beer in mug easy. Not to mention there are at least two hostess, 2 bar tenders, I counted at least 4 servers and restaurant is mostly empty. I don’t walk out of places often. But seriously when your ignored and someone can’t bring water cause they aren’t the server and omg just too much. But the piece de resistance is the fact that I leave then call ask to speak to a manager and they for serious tell me there is no manager that the servers are in charge. For real? I mean well that explains a lot since most of them didn’t look old enough to drink.Done!
Laren was amazing. She was attentive to our needs and so bubbly. Will definitely be back!! Cool environment and clean overall. Lots of employees here and it was so busy—but we didn’t wait long at all!! She was on her Agame :) So friendly to our baby too, and offered him orange slices—which he loved =}
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Took forever to get our food. A burger, fries, and a coke was about $20. They overcharged my card. When I called to complain about being overcharged. They charged my card again without telling me they were charging it again. Then told me the 1st charge will be put back in my account in 3-5 days. Don’t Go There!
Service was eh. Order was messed up twice. Its pricey for What you get. My family of 5 had dinner, 2 appetizers, 3 beers , and drinks at west Texas chop house for $84 last week...that included steak. We spent $70 tonight and we had wings, 2 beers, 2 sandwiches, and a kids burger. It wasnt anything great. There just wasnt a customer service wow factor.
Let me just start this by saying that the last time we tried steve Os, it was sub par. Since it’s close by we have it one last shot and wow. It did not disappoint if it weren’t for our beautiful waitress laren we probably wouldn’t have even came back. Not saying the food was bad. It was good but the service really “makes” the meal. She was SO freaking busy, and we still felt special. At one point my friends husband asked how many people she was serving and she humbly replied “just a few”. We told her we knew it was more, and just wanted to know. She smiled, and said “ about 22-24 people total. Wow!!!!!!!!! You can tell she enjoys her job. Brisket nachos were her recommendation and they were great. Everyone orders burgers or tacos and that was good too. The hostess Casey, or Cassandra was really polite and friendly. Good job steve Os. I’m glad you finally hired friendly young ladies!!!!
Worst company I’ve ever worked for. They promise raises and never follow through. They treat their employees terrible, yelling at them for all customers to see. Respect is not part of their motto. In the beginning it was genuinely fun until you have an opinion on how they treat you. Food is good but the company itself is toxic.
Yesterday was our first time eating here and we plan on visiting every Wednesday!! The food is amazing with a wonderful atmosphere and our server Marta was the best, from the beginning all the way to the end! Thank you Marta for making our first experience a memorable one!
Weve been hear a handful of times and continue to come because of the great food and atmosphere....BUT the service here is beyond bad!!!! Every single waitress lacks customer service. You have to do cartwheels to get their attention. Once they sit you they disappear! Ugh. They seriously need some training on customer service skills.
Overall ok.. I went with my parents and my baby for lunch time. I needed to change my baby, turns out NO changing table in their restroom. So, this place is pet friendly but not baby friendly?.. One of the waitress saw me going to the restroom with my baby and didnt say anything to me .Food was alright but beers were warm.
Just had brunch here with two friends. I was extremely disappointed in the brisket nachos that had a sprinkling of brisket and not much more cheese for 12.95 - at multiple other places in town I can get the same thing that’s twice the size and about a pound of brisket on it for $10. We all ordered 3 mimosas - two of us were charged for 4 and one of us was charged for 5, plus I was charged for bacon that another one of us ordered and never even got! The fact that they have NO MANAGER there right now is ridiculous. We were told either to “come back later” which would be incredibly inconvenient for me as I don’t live close or they’d fix it in 2-3 business days. Are you kidding??? Never going back.
Looked so forward to going to the new Eastside location. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes and nobody came to eat on us. I finally had to ask the manager if we could get waited on. After we ordered our beers it took al ost 30 minutes to get our beer and the waiter had no idea about the kinds of draft beer. It took forever to get our food which was not that good and over all the place was expensive , 13.00 for a burger that was cold. One and done on this place as the staff was overwhelmed and seemed very confused.
Burgers are great!!The first time we went here our burgers were served with regular fries, thats what we prefer. The second time the burgers were served with seasoned fries that were sugary! No sugar on the fries! So make sure you request your preference of fries! The onion rings are fabulous!!
First time and my friends and I were a little disappointed. Not sure if server was new but it was not busy and she didnt offer more drinks, let the glasses and dishes pile up on the table. I never got my salad and the Bills were incorrect. Food was good but service not great. Not sure I would recommend due to mediocre service.
I ordered mac and cheese. When they brought it out to me the top of it was completely dried out. I told them to please remake it and they took it away, when they brought it out again all they did was load the top of it with more cheese and heated it up to melt the cheese. I asked for the manager and the waitress said there will be no charge for the mack and cheese and that the manager geovani was way to busy at the bar and could not come to talk to me. Note there was only 3 people at the bar. And I noticed him just talking up a stor. With employees very unprofessional manager. Spent over 100 here and he must have thought I was really hurting for $3 the cost of the mac. Will contact the owners to discuss this mater. Will not return here again dont bother people.
Not attentive service. Waiters n waitresses all hang out where food gets expedited while no one tends to the patrons. Food was brought to us and waitress left without providing us napkins or silverware!! Floor is beyond disgusting, sticky... just like their white chuck tylors... No refills for drinks were offered. 🤢
No burger is worth $57.00. Waitress never mentioned that ranch dressing is $1.50 , no refills for tea. $2.00 for eggs in the burger which the waitress highly recommended. Fries do not come with your burger and waitress asked which side we wanted and makes it sound as if its included in your order NOT. We will never go there again and Ill make sure to spread the word.
Drove all the way out there for the brunch from far west El Paso.. border to New Mexico. Their Instagram looked great, especially the beverages! Come to realize the forty minute drive and $80 tab was not worth it, sadly. Staff was very slow!! At one point we had a few cans of beers on our table that were empty that our server wouldn’t pick up. So we stacked them high hoping she would realize. When she came instead of being embarrassed she said “oh that’s so cool!”I got the montecristo dogs. The sausage was super burnt inside. We kept having to ask for refills as well. It’s very over priced in my opinion! I will probably never go back. Sorry stevos.
This place is sooooooo good! Good is an understatement actually! Omg my family all got something different and everyone LOVEDDDD it..down to the salad!! I got the carne asada tacos-the meat was so tender! I got some type of lemonade with mineral water and it was to die for! All of my family got burgers that they said were so tender.
I went to Steve Os specifically based on its top rated reviews. It took 45 minutes from the time I ordered until the meal was served. It was on St Patricks Day. It was about 1 pm, the place was not full. Our order was a hamburger and pork tacos. The hamburger was ok. It was tall, not wide. You cant bite it. It was hard to hold it together to cut it with a knife. I recommend you take your own steak knive, because the furnished knives are more suited to cut soft butter. The pork tacos were pulled (shredded) beef brisket soaked in barbeque sauce. The tacos were adequate. The servers were nice and quick with the drinks. It took a while to get the bill and a receipt. I was disappointed.
Highly recommended!!! Was there for a reservation of over 20 and we were well taken care of , the environment was great and food quality was excellent , they took very good care of us even though it seemed like the resturant was busy , servers were very nice and constantly checked inn and catered to us, will definitely return !!! Huge Thank you to all the staff and management that made this possible!
Hello folks! I had the pleasure of having my Dad visit from NC and he is always down to try something different regarding food. So we heard about SteveOs, but hadnt had the opportunity to visit yet. Well a few days ago it presented itself because we were so hungry and had been out on this wonderful, yet very windy day. Parked, went in and was greeted by a friendly server Alysia! It was an open bright space with a nice, yet modern retro feel! We were seated at this cute booth and the ambiance was St. Patricks day themed, but it wasnt over the top! The food was good and although it wasnt crowded at the time; I could see other customers enjoying themselves. Now back to our server, Alysia; I observed her not just attending to our table but others as well. She appeared to be everywhere without skipping a beat! So in a nutshell, we had a GREAT outing, with FANTASTIC service and well be returning soon! ~Ms. Tornes~
Lauren is one cool chick 😎 Very pretty. Not sure if she is the manager but she sure can upsell and work a crowd/table. She must have been working in this industry for a long time Cool place. Music was okay.. not to loud. They have misters outside wich was weird but we ended up liking 🌧💦 Beer selection is good just wish they would carry blue moon 🌚 🍻🍺
This was my first time here and I ordered the Classic Steve - O burger with house fries and I will just say this: the food is simply tasteless and overpriced. The only reason why I give it the second star is because the hostess was very nice and professional. Other than that, I would not waste your time or money eating here when you can eat at Papas Burgers across the street and for a third of the cost.
Really delicious hip spot to stop off while on the Far East. My server Alexis was very knowledgeable on the Menu. I ended up getting the Berry Berry Salad and paired it with some delicious mezcal thanks to Jose’s recommendation. It was a match made in heaven!!! Thank you guys for the perfect pre-shift meal!!
Tierra este rd location...four of us stopped in on a wednesday around noon...place was almost empty...heres a list of deficiencies: took 15 minutes to get three beers after we were seated...burger was lukewarm...fries were lukewarm...macaroni and cheese came 15 minutes late, after we were served our entrees...beer was not what we ordered...a duplicate beer was brought out by mistake by the bartender...told her we already had been served that beer...she started to take it back to dispose of it ...we said wed drink it and not to throw it away...unbelievably, she charged us for it!!!...waitress forgot to bring ranch dressing on the side for sweet potato fries. Again, we were basically the only ones in the place! All this great food and service for only $100!!. Wont go back and neither should you. Post Review Addendum: We verified at another restaurant that evening that the beer the bartender at Steve Os told us was a Deadbeach Brown Bonnie was definitely not and we had told her as such. Believe me, we know our beers. It was a semi-flat dark brown foamy beer a little like a Guiness but with a touch of carbonation, most likely an Ugly Pug Black Lager, just as we told her.
Love the food, however, I took my son for his birthday and the waitress we had said they were too busy to sing happy birthday to him. Not to mention she got his order wrong twice. Really ruined the night but its ok. Ill keep going to the one on Lee Trevino where they did sing happy birthday to my son!
Over hearing gossip and drama and side conversations is not ideal and not professional. Only two girls seemed to actually be working. One was blonde with wavy hair and the other has short dark very curly hair. Three/ 4 other very young ladies gathered around the computers on their phones, giggling, one changed into a whole new outfit and I don’t think he shorts could have been hiked up higher on her bottom. We overheard about someone liking some guy in the “back”, and how all their feet hurt. One girl looked either hungover or sick. But she prob should not be around food. Asked to speak with a manager after not getting refills for 10+ minutes and watching the girls gossip. He came and spoke briefly with us. Seemed like a nice young man. Genuine. Overall the food was good, but I wish we could have got a different waiter/ess. The blonde girl was kind & offered us to go cups of tea. I waited in the front on my husband to use the restroom and watched the waitress with the very short shorts grab the reciept and go back to talking. The young lady with the very short curly black hair cleaned up our entire table. Wish she could have got the tip with the work she did. There was a lot of plates and cups that piled up. Hoping next time we come by for food and the beer we can pick our waiter/ess.
Food was amazing. Chicken avocado sandwich, wings, corn on the cob, bacon wrapped shrimp, and pastor tacos, asada tacos, fish tacos. Service was really good, Karla was great. Negatives- they charge for ranch for wings. $32.00 in wings, and I have to pay 1.50 for a tiny side of ranch. Quit being cheap Steve.
First time we went had a terrible time because they had a glitch in their ordering system. It was their first day opening so i thought no big deal they have to iron out some details. So tonight we decided to give it another try. Walked in around 12 oclock and were told the kitchen closed so ok no problem we asked for a drink menu. We waited over 20 min and nobody came back to take our order. We decided to just leave and on the way out I asked who is the manager. She pointed to a guy who was sitting at the bar table with two of his friends wearing black Tshirts and said thats the owner. The owner seemed to care more about what was on his phone than his customers needs. NO regard for his patrons. Too bad well never come back to this place since we literally live just around the corner off ventanas.
I have really tried to like this place(5th visit)! My family and I try to always eat local. Just to make a note, our waitress was really nice and also our past waiters and waitresses. To make it short: Cold “ribeye” tacos and about 8 pieces of tiny meat on each, soggy and cold fish tacos , my XX draft was flat and warm, my replacement Dallas Blonde was also flat and warm, the salsa tastes like “Tostitos medium chunky salsa” that comes in a jar, and the guacamole ufff🤦♀️ I’ll just stop. I’ll come for the patio and bottled beer next time just to support local.
Been to this Steve Os several times. Service has been horrible. Waitress keep forgetting to take our order. We have had to flag them down every time. Place was not busy so there was no reason. Not sure what is going on. After 20 minutes of waiting, we walked out. Wont be going back anytime soon. Maybe it is just bad luck.
This is THE PLACE TO BE!!!! DRINA ROCKS!!!!We held a wedding shower here and it was the best decision ever. The service was excellent! Jose and Jalene were very courteous, professional, and wonderful at providing a very pleasant time in the patio garden!!! The food is out of this world!! I highly recommend them for any special event or just to grab a bite!! We will definitely be back!!THANKS STEVEO’S!!!!
My husband and I came in today to enjoy our Saturday at Steve-Os in the Far East and what a disappointment. First of all, as soon as we got to the bar, we ordered an appetizer right away--the bacon wrapped shrimp, along with our drinks. Well, while my husband got his beer right away, the bartender completely forgot about my drink--a coconut margarita. Hey, it happens. I was understanding of this. After realizing that she completely forgot, I reminded her and she saved face by asking me specifics of how I would like it--tall or short. When she finally delivered it—after an eternity— it was so loaded up with ice and she still forgot to serve it with a straw. She said she would come back with one which is odd to me. If you already forgot to make my drink, you would think that you would make sure the specs were correct in presentation and try to get it out quick. She said she was new at Steveos but was an experienced bartender, which is odd to me because the restaurant was not busy so....So our appetizer--the bacon-wrapped shrimp. We waited an eternity for it, but noticed that other people (a group of men) that came in after us and sat in the restaurant area were already served their drinks and meals (burgers) before we got our appetizer and were almost done with their meal. We didnt realize till we left that this was the bartenders fault who, get this, charged us for her mistake--shrimp ceviche--in addition to our appetizer. Since our appetizer was taking so long, we asked our bartender to just cancel it and well wait for our meal that we ordered. She said, Well, you do know that the bacon-wrapped shrimp does take a while. Really? Like 30 to 40 minutes? When the appetizer finally did arrive, it was nothing like we remembered it or had been served in the past. There was no nice garnishings the way it had been initially rolled out and guess what? There was no bacon! What we were served was something you could buy from Sams and nuke in the microwave. I had to double check the menu to see if it had changed but nope--it was still listed as bacon-wrapped shrimp. When we was the manager in the bar area, we asked her what happened with the change in the shrimp entree--we didnt even mention that there was no bacon on the shrimp--she mentioned that Steve--the owner-- was looking at cutting food costs and making things simpler. Really? That was her response to us? She said, though that she would let Steve know what we had noted. This must be true though because now that I recall, the last time we went in, we ordered the same appetizer and the food server suggested we try it with Ranch dressing on the side. Come to find out, they charged us for the ranch? Really? Wow! We were so disappointed in our experience today--January 13, 2018—that we agreed we will not be going back. The restaurant seems to have lost its focus of customer service and making good food. We are disappointed because we were so excited about it opening up on our side of town, too. Theres always Union Tap House I suppose.
I want to like it. Because of the other one. But I cant. The other Steve Os on Lee Trevino is amazing. This one........ Not so much. I had their bacon wrapped shrimp. Which were good. But now that I think about it. Couldnt taste the bacon. Which for me, was actually fine till now cuz I paid for bacon wrapped shrimp. Anyways, theyre like drenched in hot sauce (Franks?) Which I like, so I liked them a lot still. Got the hell Paso burger which in my opinion, is the best burger Ive ever had. But its the best on Lee Trevino. This one just tasted plain. With all the toppings they have on this burger, to taste nothing? I was pretty disappointed. The other, as of today, is under renovation. Only reason I went to this one. I wont be going back to this location
Service was slow, attended a birthday dinner and server took long to bring out our food and drink orders as the food rested on the counter ready. Server never picked up our plates and we constantly had to request drink refills. And the restaurant was not busy while other employees stood in the back to chit chat. Would not come back to this place. Very disappointed.
They dont have changing tables, was very disappointed. However, food was good but a bit over priced. Ordered the churro cheesecake, $10, and expected a huge slice. Instead we received a regular sliced cheesecake with no cinnamon or sugar. It is basically a panko battered cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Didnt think it was worth what I paid. The parmesan fries and poke were delicious though.
Awesome staff. The manager Jose and our server Jaileen were truly amazing. We were more than taken care. It wasn’t just us but everyone I observed. All customers were treated beyond well and the environment justified this satatifaction. Definitely will be a regular from now on!!!!!!!!!!! The food was !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ummmmmmmmmmmm

2021-11-13Cannot tell you how the food and drinks were. My wife and I arrived for brunch to a nearly empty restaurant (see image) to be told wed have to wait 10 minutes before we could be seated, or we could leave. When our time to be seated came, we were told to sit wherever wed like. At this point were more than confused about the reason for the wait. We decided to sit at the bar on the patio side and waited for 15 minutes for any kind of engagement from a server. To no avail, we left. Currently writing this review from Benny Franks where the service, drinks, and food are all exceptional.

2021-05-20Dont listen to the 2 and a half stars, this place is fantastic. I went with a massive group of friends this past weekend (almost 20 to a table) and they were able to seat us quickly and took all of our drink orders fast. The wait was a little long for the full order list as well as the food to come out but I always expect that with a group this size.Atmosphere: Possibly the most fun in an outdoor seating area Ive had in El Paso. The music was incredible and the outdoor decor is literally to die for. Definitely advise going with a fun group. Its a blast.Food: I got the Hell Paso burger with the salad and it was a good burger. Nothing to really write home about. We also ordered the Hot Cheetos corn, Spinach Artichoke Dip for appetizers and the corn is A MUST HAVE. The spinach dip was pretty underwhelming so wouldnt advise it. Overall, food was good but not amazing.Price: $$ Decent for the food. Spent about $33 with a beer, app, and entree.Overall, definitely recommend. Dont listen to the haters.

2022-03-20If I could rate it a 0 I would! This was our first time coming here and it was absolute worst experience ever! We arrived at the restaurant a little past 11 it was pretty empty . Our drinks(orange juice and lemonade ) were absolutely terrible, super watered down . We asked the server(red hair) if we can just change the drinks for soda , the attitude started and seemed like she was upset about it. Server did not put in one of the plates we ordered and we decided we no longer wanted the food since the rest of us were almost done eating. Server literally rolled her eyes and said “oh my god” . Server did not check on the table. Ice melted on all our drinks and we had watered down soda . Service was TERRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Manager did not even bother to talk to us .

2022-03-26The waitresses took forever to seat us, despite the fact that a table had recently been cleared. Even once the table was cleared, we were left to wait. When we asked to be seated, the waitress mockingly stated not yet to my wife. She had to ask to seat at the cleared table, and once we were seated and the menus brought out, we overheard that same waitress mocking my wife across the room. She got up and confronted the waitress, who rudely stated what was I supposed to say? Needless to say, we left. It is a pity because the restaurant looks quite nice, but I am certainly not going to spend my hard-earned money in a place that mocks my loved ones.

2022-03-20Told we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes to be seated, and we could leave, we waited because it had been a while since we came here, and it was a good experience, so we were hoping for the same experience. Didnt happen, we waited in a half empty restaurant, for bad service, and bad food, the Chile Chilaquiles were tortillas chips with a little sauce on them, basically a Nacho Supreme at a fastfood place, without the fixings. We paid a premium price for awful food, and service, along with asking for brunch, and being informed that it ended at 2:30, it was 2:00, and then having them turn on the water mister, when our food came out, it was not a hot day. We ordered lemonade, and was told they were out of that too. Awful experience, save your money, and time. For the price we paid, it was not worth it, wish we left, when we were told to wait 30 to 40 minutes in a half empty restaurant.

2022-03-31So we are one of about three couples in the whole place and its taking a long time to get food. But what prompted me to write this is the cleanliness is quite disturbing. The floors and tables are visibly dirty and the bathroom is terrible the soap and towel and tp dispensors are broken and the floors doors walls are gross like they havent been cleaned in years. We got our first drinks water and a beer pretty quickly then nothing she just never came back. I was thinking or ordering a margarita and well that never happened. I wont be returning and I havent even gotten food yet. I am I

2017-11-08The place was still working out the bugs. The food was good, but the waitress was slow. Drinks ran empty several times. The brisket nachos had a big piece of fat in it, and all the beer samples were warm. The beer ordered was cold though. The fries on the side of the burgers were the same type but one was more lemony and the other order was sweeter, no consistency. The decor is cool. One issue with sitting outside is the amount of flies. The owner should look into doing something about the flies. We will be back once they are established and update the post.

2022-03-20Super slow, music too loud, patty melt w Mac n cheese was pretty much flavorless. Chicken sandwich with bacon was very good and side salad was too. Wont be back.

2021-03-17The place is really nice and it has a modern feel to it. Take your girl here if you want to impress her cause the prices are slightly over priced. It took awhile to get food, maybe longer than I anticipated. I had a hamburger and ate it with 4 bites. Yum but not mouth watering. The ahi tuna appetizer was the best thing but cost as much as my $13 burger. This place does have a good amount of draft beer and I enjoyed two beers with my meal.

2017-12-10Great decor very modern and retro, music was a little loud though. Had a late lunch started with the artichoke poblano dip and it was excellent. I had the fish tacos with brussel sprouts for a side tacos were good but the brussel sprouts were delicious!! Friend had the Chasing the Tail, it was not very good, was more of a rice bowl, way to much rice and not much fish, he had the mint lemonade which was perfect ( well worth the refill charge). Overall good experience!!
