I got a new job and had less than 2 weeks to move from state to state,. The leasing team at Stonegate was so helpful! They gave me all the information I needed and were quick to update me and follow up as we went through the process. I’ve been here going on 7 months now and have been really satisfied with the office team, maintenance, and amenities!

As a resident of almost 3 full years. The apartments themselves aren’t terrible.They’re old so it’s inevitable your ac goes out or something doesn’t work and when it does they’ll blame it on you. Their management is a joke to say the least. They’ll do anything to screw you over. Do yourself a favor and rent or buy a house.
I am happy to say we have not had any issues since moving in. The office staff are all very friendly. The apartment complex itself always looks great and our unit is just what we wanted in a home. I would recommend Stonegate apartments for anyone looking for affordable housing in Abilene.
The move in process was very easy. The apartment that we had rented was completely ready and looked great. We have lived here 8 months now and we are thrilled we choose Stonegate as our new home! We would recommend this lovely community to any family or friends.
The front office staff make continuous efforts to make you feel at home. The complex is very well kept. Maintenance issues are immediately addressed. The location could not be better. Stonegate apartments is a great choice to live.
The staff is very friendly. The maintenance response is extremely quick and gives incredible customer service. Conveniently located to public transportation and Scarborough park. With an amazingly helpful staff and knowledgeable maintenance I couldnt choose to live anywhere else.. I am very impressed with this place. Its been an amazing experience living here so far.
Nothing but great things to say about this place. Great location and prices, the staff knows who you are and are extremely friendly and any work requests I have are taken care of usually the same day I put them in. Compared to other complexes in the area, you get the most bang for your buck here.
So many great things to say about my neighborhood I dont know where to begin. The pool is amazing and there is an area to picnic or bbq. My family loves hanging out in this area during the summer months. I also like that the clubhouse has a kitchen that residents may use. The fitness center is my favorite feature. I can access it anytime to workout or blow off some steam from my day.
The community is well maintained without any pests or roach issues. There is a dedicated play ground for the kids which is fantastic. I love that the fittness area is open all of the time so I can work out when I want or need too.
If I could get zero stars I would give zero stars. I’m learning that as long as you give people money they are your friend. I decided I was going to move to consider my kids, my job, and a lot of other factors. I Have a 60 day notice and was willing to pay my dues. My kids have been really sick with flu, they were throwing up and coughing bad. This resulted in me having to take time off work. There was a flu outbreak in the office so they should expect other people to be sick and know it’s flu season. According to my lease if I’m late I have certain amount of time to pay or it can’t be more than 15 days late. When I went to office to give my 60 day notice Kelly automatically got an attitude and told Janice I just need to sign my 60 day notice and go. They were ready to put me out because my rent is late because due to my kids being sick I got less time and had to get help. I’m waiting on my check to come by the 1/9/2020. The attitude from Kelly was so unreal that I broke down to my sister crying. Janice I felt seemed like she felt bad for me because she was trying to be nice, but I can tell still trying to be tough.
Awful apartment complex. The management is very irresponsibility and won’t take your maintenance needs with urgency. They are quick to charge for anything that doesn’t work in the apartment—even if a light bulb stops working they will charge you to replace it. I recently moved to a new apartment three months ago and recently discovered bed bugs. Now, they are making me liable and charging me an insane amount for the treatment. I do not recommend these apartments and will encourage you to look for another place to live.
I have been living in this development for almost two years now and everything here is so good. I absolutely love it here and if you ever have a problem they are always able to help. Everyone is so nice I really appreciate all the hard work.

My girlfriend and I approached Kelly and let her know what size apartment we wanted, she was very helpful and specific on what we needed to have done in order to get into our apartment. That night we did our application, the next day Kelly made us aware of our approval and we now move in our new apartment the 15th. Couldnt be any happier than what we are now with Stonegate Apartments. Thank you Stonegate, but more importantly thank you Kelly!!!
Stonegate has the most helpful and friendly staff and the common areas are always kept clean. Maintenance requests get fulfilled within a day normally and they are always quick to resolve any problems you may have.
Great place! Very nice! Quiet complex! Only con is on resident has junk on front porch lets their dog run loose and poop everywhere while he sits on front porch and watches his dog poop all over the area and doesn’t clean it up! Gross the complex has a dog park and equipment to clean up the dog poop!
We have been living here for the past year and half. The whole crew has made our stay very accomodating, and helped with everything that they could. We really enjoy it, and ready for the summer and pool to be open.
So as soon as the pandemic let up and they were able to they started evicting people who they promised they would help as long as your waiting for rent relief no remorse what so ever this place is a jokeSo update as soon as you tell them your leaving they wanna throw threats about well qell just sendnwhatever rent relief doesnt pay to collections lol idknwho these people are but these apartments arent worth the hassle you should honestly consider a cheaper apartment than this place
Best place to live!I called in for a problem and they were here within 5 mins and knew what needed to be done.Super friendly and so easy to talk to then when you need to! So I highly recommend looking into stonegate!!! Im very pleased!!!
The staff are always very nice. I never had an issue with getting answers to any questions I have had. Im new to Stonegate and the Abilene area and they have been very helpful telling me where things are.
Ill keep my review short and to the point. When you move here you are guaranteed a very friendly staff and a lovely place to live. I would definitely recommend it!!

The rent is never consistent, office is closed half the time bc the manager runs errands during work hours, etc. I wouldnt recommend moving here, there is plenty of other good apartments in Abilene.

Buildings and amenities are great, The maintenance team is amazing. The staff are super friendly and was of endless help.
This place was excellent! The staff here were very friendly throughout the leasing process and continued to be very available and helpful throughout my time here.
I sent in a maintenance request to have a leak fixed under my sink, and It only took 2 days for them to respond. Everything was taken care of.

Try to get some information on the apartments around 10:20am when the have it online also on the door that they are opened at 10am-2pm. To find out the are only opened during the week. Need to update.
Stonegate has the friendliest staff Ive ever seen from any apartment complexes and Ive lived in apartments my whole life.

Terrible place! Dirty! They will raise your rent. RUDE. NO customer service. Unprofessional. Worst apartment management Ive ever witnessed

Gym facility sucks, none of the equipment allows you to workout since its a very old equipment and most of it is broken, dirty facility and management just dont care about making it better for residents
Beware Bed Bug infestation!!!! Do not sign Texas Apartment Association Bed bug form or you will be fit with a hefty pest control bill.

2022-03-15Love how spacious these apartments are. I have no problems getting around with my walker. It’s quiet here; I’m never disturbed by noise from the neighbors. Maintenance has responded quickly and efficiently with any requests that have been made. Office staff is approachable and professional. I don’t have any complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

2021-12-18My boyfriend and I worked closely with the staff at their leasing office. Everyone was very professional, friendly, timely, and very easy to work with and answered all of our questions and helped us out to find a unit that fit our needs. We love the property and the staff here.

2021-10-05We moved into these apartments in mid-August. The AC went out. We did not have AC for over two weeks. They gave us a tiny window unit for the entire two bedroom apartment. It was almost laughable. Our AC doesnt blow strong and our apartment does not cool. Our baby monitor shows our daughters room at 78 plus degrees at night with our AC on! We had a personal window unit to keep our apartment bearable. We have now been asked to remove it. Apparently the AC cools to the correct temperature, but the blow is so faint that it is simply unacceptable. I would NOT recommend Stonegate. The staff is friendly when you can actually get ahold of them, but again, this is just ridiculous. I am not usually picky or one to leave bad reviews, but I want to spare anyone the trouble we have gone through just to get our apartment to an appropriate temperature.

2021-12-12Im happy that they offer carports to rent for a reasonable price. Its good to have your own covered parking. A lot of other properties dont have this option. This was a huge deal for me when I was looking for my place.

2021-08-29I absolutely love that part of the utilities are included. Im near transportation which was a must for me. Most of all I am so happy that my 50lb fur baby was accepted here. I looked at other places that restricted the weight to a much smaller dog. I guess you can tell I am happy living at Stonegate.

2022-05-09Living here for the last year has been terrible I call the office no one ever answers and I called as soon as I moved in cause the toilet kept getting clogged even without anything being flushed and no one ever came to fix it would not recommend at all service was just bad all the way around
