I came yesterday after being told my oil filter house had been cracked. Well come to find out i was told wrong. Apparently the other spot where i had first went and told me it was cracked just couldn’t get it off. Anyway the MOD Desmond at Take 5 kindly helped me out! He was honest and understood my situation with out even hesitation he had their mechanic take a look at it found out nothing was wrong (big relief ) and gave me a great price on my oil change! I want people to know there are still some honest people out here and Desmond is someone you can trust to help you out. Thanks again Desmond! I will be back.
I didnt understand where to go. Are you just supposed to wait by one of the garage doors? Usually you park and take your inspection and insurance inside. I couldnt even do that because there was no where to park and cars everywhere. They had parking spaces but cars were parked in the horizontal instead of actually in the lines. The whole place is awkward so Im just going to go somewhere else
45 minutes waiting there to get state inspection for my car and I was told that they had a problem with the computers.Basically, they said that my car had a computer problem.I took my car to kwik Car lube at 11th street and passed inspection without problems. Less than 20 minutes.
This is by far the best Take 5 location I have been too! All the staff worked seamlessly together. They get you in and out! I had the pleasure of working with KJ! He is very knowledgeable, and makes sure you are aware of everything your vehicle needs to get the most out of it! Excellent customer service skills! Excellent leadership! And a thank you to Travis for sealing the visit and making sure I return!
I used Take 5 for the first time, and had a wonderful experience, especially with Travis. Upon arrival, he asked what I needed and moved me to the lane that would be the quickest. All I needed was a quick state inspection, and because he was so quick to get me in, I also added in a cabin air filter change.Their oil change prices are competitive to other auto service centers. I plan on taking my car to Take 5 oil change from now on.
Have never left a bad review until today. Employee must’ve been new. Had my 2021 F150 first oil change done here, 8,000 miles. Employee plugged over 80,000 miles into the computer, then they proceeded to put “over 75,000 mile” oil into the truck. Even tho i had selected Mobil 1 Extended Performance as my option “the most expensive option”. 5 minutes turned into 20, and when I received my $150 bill, i was shocked. And they went out back to “get the gallon” of Mobil 1 extended performance… pretty sure they finessed me and put the wrong oil but i was too tired to say anything else. If i got filters and oil myself, and put aside 30 minutes of my day, i could’ve saved $60 and the concern in the back of my head about the incorrect oil.
Horrible. VW Tourareg.Oil leaking at 1.5 quarts per day after oil change on recent model vehicle with no past issues. Went back 2x. Got nothing but corporate speak.Untrained monkey on a wrench with no accountability.Went to VW dealer to repair their damages and wound up spending 4x.I do not recommend this shop.
One of the guys working here dropped their hood prop up device under my hood and dented my radiator as well as knocked a coolant hose loose. My car started overheating a day after getting an oil change here. I thought reattaching the hose would resolve the issue but the car is still overheating. Either those kids used the wrong kind of oil or they did something else to my car. Never coming here again.Update: I contacted customer service 5 days ago and have yet to receive a response. Is this the quality this company is so proud of? My car’s radiator was damaged by their employees and they not contacted me back since I sent the email. I will be looking to take legal action if this is not resolved promptly.
Go somewhere better. Yes the customer service is pretty okay but they switch out the employees every other day. This is the second time this has happened. They are not fully giving me all the course of all that my car requires. I took it to the dealership and they confirmed that that is the issue that nothing is wrong my cars gears are like that is just the oil wasnt full. They are basically jipping people.
This place is amazing! These guys work fast and efficiently. Do yourself a favor and come to this location. Not a very long wait at all. You pull up, they ask what you need done and give you a bottle of water. Then you wait in your car, they talk you through everything they need to know. We got an inspection and oil change in less than thirty minutes. If I could give a hundred stars, I definitely would.
The shop manager and his team were courteous, efficient and super friendly. I was impressed with how organized and safe they were working and made sure I was completely satisfied before driving off. The best part is you never have to get out of the car and you can be done in moments. Highly recommended!
I just want to say that Troy and his team have a true understanding of what exceptional customer service should be. I went in there for an oil change and actually learned something from them tonight. I will definitely bring my business to them in the future because I really felt that they treated me like a customer and truly valued my business.
Fastest oil change in Houston. Plus they dont waste paper or money printing out lengthy invoices for no reason. They truly allow you to have a break in your own car while they work. No getting out in the rain, or hot sun. They offered free bottles of water and suggested services as needed, no up-selling. Also, they have a military/veteran discount which I always get. So they will continue to be my oil change spot for all my vehicles. Not many places have discounts for military/veteran outside of veterans day. I appreciate Take 5 for supporting servicemembers. Keep up the great work!
Ive taken my vehicle to this location for oil changes for the past year. I couldnt be more pleased with their service and professionalism. My most recent visit was the best one yet! When I pulled in I was warmly greeted and even given a bottle of cold water. Ive never felt pressured or taken advantage of. Top notch service thats quick and convenient!
Ive gotten better customer service at other Take 5 locations. The person who took care of my oil change did not wear a mask, which made me a bit uncomfortable, even though I am fully vaccinated. The pandemic is not over. We still need to practice precaution. I certainly do. Anyway, I will not be returning to this location.
I’ve never visited a Take 5 before, in any area of Houston, that I’ve lived in despite my interest. Their reviews stand so true. They are fast, professional, friendly, and personable. They work together as one team at this location. And on top of that I could speak to the employees easily, they were down to earth and made the whole experience of getting my oil checked and my car registration an absolute breeze. I love the Heights neighborhood but I especially love knowing I have a home base for my car concerts with this location. I wish I could remember the names of the people that helped but they were seriously ALL amazing!
Manager (Edward) had a great attitude and was very upbeat, even though they were PACKED. Got us in and out in a matter of minutes, even though we had traveled from Dallas that morning, and had only turned the car off once on a pit stop. Much attention to detail by all of the guys (Adrian and Andy), very polite, and extremely professional.
These guys were absolutely great! Fast, attentive, careful and clear about what they were doing. THEY DIDNT TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING I DIDNT NEED!!! a lot of other places will try to sell you parts you dont need. They opened up my engine filter compartment and said it was still in good condition and put it right back. They warrantee their parts and work. They top off your fluids and will re-top them if you need to come back before your next oil change. 10/10 would recommend.
Avoid this place like the plague… I’ve been a customer for take 5 for years for three vehicles and just recently received one for my 2018 sonata and first thing they overcharged me for my oil $90 for an oil change even with a coupon. I’ve never paid that much before for oil, second ALL MY YEARS OF GETTING A OIL CHANGE NEVER HAVE THEY DRILLED UNDER MY CAR for anything, I found out when I got home that they drilled 3 BOLTS from my skid plates
Took my car here to get an inspection on November 1st. After multiple attempts of THEIR computer not working, the employee doing the inspection told me that it was my vehicles issue and that he had to fail me because of it. Well, I just took my car somewhere else to get it done because I didnt trust that it was my fault and I was right. Passed my inspection the 2nd time around with flying colors after not changing a single thing from the first time. Big waste of time and money at Take 5. Assuming its the customers fault and not your own is a horrible business practice.
My first time going here and had a %50 off coupon. Great service, customer interaction was great. Only thing was after I got home, I looked at my receipt more carefully and noticed it said what was done including my windshield being cleaned. It never was cleaned, but Im not complaining. Definitely going back when my vehicle is due again. Have a great day.
Showed up late on a hot Friday and received some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced, in any industry. Even though it was late in the day and it was busy and HOT, everyone was downright friendly and professional. The whole crew was great, but Paul in particular was excellent. I never felt pressured into buying something I didnt want or need, like you often see at oil-change places. Even though it was busy, they got me in and out as quickly as they could. Very pleasant experience.
Went in for a full synthetic oil change. Final price with the Castrol edge full synthetic oil came out to 97 out the door. Im ok with that considering I went to other places and they take 1-2 hours with the same pricing. I was here no more then 20 minutes. Only downside is I needed an air filter that they didnt have in stock. Other then that it was fine. They Explained everything to me and i was pleased with service. They have another potential customer in the future here
Come here for all things, oils change, air filter, vehicle inspection. Guys are great and the concept can’t be beat, hang in your car while it gets done. This last time, they were closing and took me anyway to get my inspection done. Could t appreciate them more. Moved out of the neighborhood and drive over just cause it’s always an easy experience. Appreciate all you guys do!!
I had a great experience here! Not only did that change my oil at an honest price, but they also helped me fix an issue that was causing my oil pan to leak!The service was awesome! I believe I worked with Edward, and he was very patient with my issue and fixed it with no hassle even through it made him work 10x harder.I will continue to come here for as long as possible! The workers were nice and friendly, they tell you what you need or should do but dont force it upon you to buy anything else than what you went for. They worked quick and had me out of there within 20mins. There were other customers so that was actually pretty fast and they gave us water to drink while we waited. Five stars for these guys they deserve it.
Went in for an oil change and air filter replacement and the manager worked on my car. He broke my air filter box and didn’t let me know. He also disconnected my brake fluid container causing air to get into my brake lines and stripping my rear brake pads and refused to compensate for repair costs. Also he gave me somebody else’s receipt, probably because he didn’t want me coming back to confront him on his negligence.
They were very friendly. And as a first time customer they made a point to mention that they hoped to make me a repeat customer. Unfortunately, they were very sloppy with my oil change. After leaving the location, I noticed smoke coming from my hood. Turns out they spilt oil on my hot engine. I had to go to another store to get cleaner for my engine. Pretty disappointed with a simple oil change.
My car happen to stall when I went there to get my oil changed. They had to give my battery a jump twice, going into the bay and leaving the bay. The crew had a great attitude and were helpful trying to diagnose the problem with my car. When the oil change was done, I went directly to the parts store where they confirmed I needed a new battery like the Take 5 crew had figured. Thanks guys. This was on 12-21-20. Getting caught up on my to do list. :)
Mr Paul with Take 5 oil change (69621) North! Shepherd Dr was very professional and helpful. He took time to explain everything that he worked on my car and did a thorough job checking fluids on my car. Even when we had to wait, he offered water, and communicated wait times. I have been a long time fan of Take 5 Oil Change, having recently moved here from Louisiana I needed to get my vehicle inspected for registration and used Take 5 for that.I am very satisfied with the inspection and will be using them for the oil changes on all of my vehicles.It is a very busy location and I was impressed with the way the employees managed the customer flow.
I have been going to this take 5 location for a few months now, and each time I have not been disappointed thanks to Paul and the crew. I got my oil changed yesterday by Cristopher and Andy, they were fast and very professional. Although there were ample amount of cars, they managed to get me out expeditiously.
They lied to me that a rear wiper replacement was required to pass a state inspection. I was skeptical and Iater learned that there is no requirement at all for rear wiper inspections in Texas. The employee assured me that his manager told him to do it.That said the test was quick, everyone was courteous, and the shop seemed to be clean and well organized.
The service was ok and you dont have to get out of your car. However, the service tech only offered me the two most expensive options for oil type. I chose the least expensive but I thought $65 still seemed steep for an oil change. I noticed after that there was a third option for $45 which I would rather have had. This could have been my regular oil change shop but I dont appreciate this type of uninformed upselling. I hope the $20 was worth losing a potential long term customer.
Literally the fastest and the best oil change service I have ever gotten. Alejandro and his team was amazing. I don’t think any other oil change place tops off brake fluid or Coolant but they even did that.They showed me my air filter rather than trying to force upsell like other places so very honest and good place for a quick oil change at very reasonable price. I highly recommend
Got my oil change and inspection done at this location. Have been here twice and they are always quick and professional. I dont think I was there more than 30 minutes, even though they were very busy. Highly recommend especially if youre trying to be in and out as quickly as possible.
First time coming here. They’re so nice and courteous. I forgot my coupon and the guy even told me “don’t worry about it, I got you” came out paying way less then I thought I would be paying for. Definitely great value. Not going anywhere else for oil changes from now on.
I will always come here for my oil change as long as everybody continues to be genuinely concern ed about your car there, and advises you about other places for other issues with your car. They are just a tiny bit pricey but worth more because of the additional information or education of learning more about your car. God sent me an angel and his name is edward he work at the Shepherd location. When I didnt know exactly what was wrong he knew it was overwhelmed with oil from another place and so he took some of what the other place had put in out and told us to drive it to burn off the rest, he checked to make sure my spark plugs didnt get soaked and other things. Everything was fine. He asked us first if we wanted to go back to the place that put 13 quarts in there, and he told me how I could handle it if I wanted to or I could let his crew handle it so I tried them. Hallelujah. God Bless. Take 5 and relax.
So I went in this week to get an oil change, and I didn’t think to ask for discounts for health care workers at the time seeing as I hadn’t seen any. But I receive an email a few days later stating they will now starting honoring a 50 percent discount on oil changes for heath care workers. Awesome right? So I call seeing as I just had my services taken care of in the same week, and they chose not to honor it.Wow. Will not be back. Here on the front lines and you can’t make a small exception for me? Isn’t this a time when community should helping each other out?
Used their service twice. Based on my poor experience, I would not come back to this location, and would not recommend it to any of my friends. One time they overcharged me which I didn’t find out until later, my bad. Another time, this big guy was shaking my car so bad when working underneath my car. I asked him what happened, he simply said everything was fine. Looking at their facial expression while talking to each other, I got the impression they were trying to harass me or perhaps having some fun which I considered horseplay at work, extremely unprofessional.
My fast oil change just took 2 1/2 hours. They had trouble getting the filter off, broke the oil pressure sensor. As I was pulling out of the bay I noticed my oil light was on and called the mechanic over. Had to wait for the part, but they fixed it.2 stars instead of only 1, because although they screwed up completely, they apologized, fixed the damage and offered Free oil change on my next visit.
Wonderful service! I needed an oil change, and they checked all my fluids, tire pressure, and filters. They were all very friendly and professional, too. I spent more here than I expected, but I did choose the more expensive oil and changed my filter since I saw that it was dirty. They got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time, too! I would recommend this place and return.
My first time coming here, got an oil change. Terrance was awesome. Explained to me what I needed, what was happening and did what I wanted. The guys were quick and even got my windshield wiped:). With a coupon, I paid less than I would have at Walmart. Very satisfied and happy I didn’t have to get off with my 3 kids:)
I came here because of the high reviews. I can honestly say, WOW! What an experience. Who knew getting your oil changed could be so entertaining. You get to sit in your car, and watch these awesome folks work as a team! Everything is so flawless. I felt like I was watching a sport. It was such a great experience. Was! Keyword WAS a loyal customers to this location on Shepard. I will be taking my business elsewhere! They are not thorough! I understand mistakes happen, but to not take responsibility is a big no, NO, in Customer service! Went there on Thursday October 22nd for a routine oil change and asked the guy to check my cabin filter, he tried and tried To get to the filter but eventually gave up because he didn’t have the proper equipment.... the next morning Friday October 23rd I went to drop off my daughter at school and when I turned on the ac the truck started tugging, shaking, and noticed no cool air blowing. I turned the truck off and then back on when I did my check engine light came on. As soon as I dropped my daughter off I went Straight to the dealership because I thought something much worse was wrong with my truck and When I arrived I was asked what was the truck doing and if I had recently done anything to it. I told them that I had just got an oil change and that the guy went to check the cabin filter... I was told that I’d have to leave the the truck over the weekend, And I agreed. I took an Uber back home and spent $40.00 including tip. On the Tuesday October 27th I went to pick a loaner car and again had to use an Uber and spent another $40.00 including tip. When I made it there they had news that my truck was ready. The technician stated that the box not being secured Properly caused my truck To malfunction because of air going in. I was billed $170.61 just so that they could secure the the air filter box and was told that it was negligence on whomever the person was that tried to get the filter changed. I went to the Take 5 on Shepard and put in a claim for the $170.61 that same day I picked my truck . Today Thursday October 29th I received a call From Edward and said that there was nothing he could do and that it wasn’t his guys fault, but that he could reimburse me in another way, seems like he did little to no effort on trying to see the error his worker did. And like I said mistakes happen. But at the end I am not getting reimbursed and my troubles at this place went much further than what it should have been, my oil change. All in all I came out of pocket $250.00 extra not including the oil change $85 and not including the Uber rides I had to take during the weekend when I didn’t have my vehicle.... They have lost my business and I will make sure I warn everyone else I have recommended there.
Great at customer service and friendliness. However, I encountered an oil leak soon after my last visit due to improperly putting in the filter during the oil change. Was disappointed to need another oil change so quickly after my service here, since I use a more expensive synthetic oil. For the price of the services, I expected the oil change to be completed without issues.
I backed out and left. Ignored coming into drive, signaled for help and ignored, sat for 10 min+ then I asked if I was in the wrong line (service bay). After which I got a nonchalant answer and no indication of what to expect. So, I took myself and my money somewhere else.
For $33 and change, they did a six quart oil change and a thorough preventive maintenance inspection on my car in under ten minutes. They are knowledgeable; provide quick, efficient service; and have excellent customer service skills.When I wrote the above review last year and gave this business a 5 🌟 review. Today, I stopped in for an oil change. They only had two techs on duty and all three bays filled. I pulled into the service bay and waited about 10 minutes. When it did not appear they were going to get to my car for a while, I left.They were obviously short-handed. This is the first time Ive been disappointed at a Take 5 location.
Really appreciated the fast and thorough job these guys do! I really appreciate them saying out loud what they are doing, pulling or taking care of so there’s lots of transparency. I’ve gone back to this location every oil change since finding out that I didn’t have to get out of my car. I love that if i have my kids with me i don’t have to unload or entertain them long when we take care of this necessary maintenance. A cold water bottle, fruit snacks/juice box when my kids are present, are always waiting for me when I pull in. I was in and out in under 25 minutes! I highly recommend take 5!
It does not have general diagnosis. It does not have access to carfax. Its expensive. It recommend you to fill out change the oil with 5000 miles even if your engines oil standard is 3000 miles. After few days of getting the service, my cars oil alerted and I got off work at night as a driver. The next day, I went to the store to fix the problem. They said they forget to put something there.
I keep trying this place as it’s so close to home but the results are hit or miss. Last week they had so many people working on my car that you could see there was confusion as to what had and hadn’t been done on the vehicle. I was hoping they Atleast had a checklist to go off of since I was getting an inspection at the same time. They seem to want to spread out like an octopus’s tentactles to get multiple cars done at once but seem to lack the consistency of things mentioned that they never followed up on. Simple things. Tire pressure. Washing the windshield. Only half the staff (unfortunately including the ones who were talking directly with clients a foot or so away) were wearing their masks down at their chin (aside from one younger guy I saw wear his mask the whole time). I’d rather them not even wear a mask so I can know to go elsewhere than have them yelling into cars with their mask at their chin. I won’t be back after a previous bad experience that was fixed by the manager and this new experience.
Great Customer services. They explained everything to me in great detail. I learned a lot about what my car needed. I am glad I went to this location. It was a simple routine check up but my car hadn’t had one of those in years. I learned an expensive lesson on what happens when you don’t have regular checks ups on our vehicles. I will be going to this location from now on.
This place was amazing!! I left my office nearby at 11:30 and was done at Take 5 by 11:50. It was so fast. It was also very easy. I stayed in my car the whole time, they gave me a bottle of water when I pulled in, and they talked to me the whole time about what they were doing. It was completely full service. I will never go anywhere else again for an oil change.
I was just there a few minutes ago. At first I was nervous because it was the first time doing the oil change on my own instead of sending the husband. As soon as I drove onto the property I was immediately greeted by Deangelo with a bottle of water. He explained the process and kept me up to date on what exactly was being done to my car and showed me the clean oil once they were done. It took about 15 minutes total for the entire process. Not only that but the prices are good! I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.
This place was incredible. Ive been meaning to get an oil change for a few weeks now and I passed this place while walking down the street. I asked if they were available now if I went to get my car and they said yes. When I drove up they recognized me and gestured for me to pull into an open bay for my oil change. I never got out of the car. They immediately began inspecting under my car while taking down information about my car from me simultaneously. Within 10 minutes they informed me that most everything on my car checked out and they topped off my windshield washing fluid for free. They provided me a full inspection sheet to show the 19 checks they made while I was sitting there expecting only an oil change.This place is a perfect one {QUICK} stop shop!
My fiancée and I are from Brownsville, Texas which is about 6 hours away from Houston. This was our first time here and we were both impress. Noah saw us pull up and immediately ran to us with two cold waters and greeted us with a smile. The employees were fast, recommended what we need for our long drive, checked out windshield wipers, and check everything from tire pressure to our battery. I highly recommend this location to anyone.
I’m never one to leave reviews... but after the service I received yesterday evening from Take 5 store #81, I feel obligated.After receiving poor customer service from a different Take 5 location yesterday - I decided to visit store 81 instead, and I’m very glad I did. They welcomed me with a smile 20 mins before closing (on a Friday evening!) and helped me out tremendously. Extremely friendly and professional.I highly recommend visiting these guys if you need your vehicle serviced. They will definitely treat you right.Thanks again for the great service. Spectacular service & Don also gave thorough information before recommending a certain product replacement, so that I wouldn’t simply buy new services without any sound reasoning. I’m now confident that the coolant replacement will last another 50,000 miles. Armando & Terrence did everything very promptly & were very kind whenever instructing me to turn the car on/off for testing purposes.
Amazing, friendly service. All workers are polite and attentive. You stay in your car, get a bottle of water and are updated on everything theyre doing. They are not there to tell you on unnecessary fixes like most places (upgraded oil, air filter, wiper blades etc) --they will only recommend it if it is really needed.
First time going to Take 5 and getting my oil change took less time than calling to set up an appointment with the dealership (yes, you can use the Express Service at a dealership as a walk-in without an appointment but you add 40 minutes to your wait). The folks working there are friendly, efficient, and fun. BONUS: This is a military family friendly business and you can get a discount if you have your military ID (which you should have with you anyway). That said, they specialize in oil changes (and can change out your wiper blades) so they can be speedy. Dont come here expecting them to diagnose a phantom clunk in your trunk.

Definitely like that you dont have to get out of your car and that the oil change is fairly quick. Check their website to get whatever coupon they have. Sometimes they have $15 off. If you dont want to wait, dont go during peak hours, simple as that. They have 4 bays and several guys.They informed me that a few clips for the skid plate were missing and werent able to put it back on. I liked that they didnt try to force it since they mentioned it could have damaged the entire plate. They suggested to take it back to previous place I had car serviced at which was at a different Take 5 location. Doesnt really bother me since they said as long as I bring the clips, theyll do it for free. Anyway, service was good and fast.
Very helpful, very friendly, very professional. Offered waterbottles, preformed the service (oil change) quickly and efficiently, and did not pester us with additional offers or charges (asked once only if we wanted extra stuff). Good business, and the workers seemed happy, which either speaks well for the business, the workers, or both, and is a good thing in any of those cases.
Wow!! I’m so impressed. I DREAD getting my oil changed. Bur after Take 5, not anymore!I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and the employees were friendly and helpful. Great service, great experience.Super fast and convenient AND cheaper than Jiffy Lube. You stay in your car and they do it all in less than 15 or so minutes. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube again. PLUS you get to see them doing everything to your car and they discuss options with you as its happening.
Ive been trying to get my oil changed all week, but because I get off work late its been difficult... but these guys were cool enough to stay open for me, even though it was close to 8 oclock by the time I got there. Saw these guys had good reviews on Yelp, so made my way over. Lets just be up front. It will not be 5 minutes if its your first time (because they need to get your info. in the system for the first time) or if there are others in line already. However, starting off by giving you a cold water as you roll down your window to let them know what services youll need, they make the experience as quick and painless as possible. I was able to stay in the car with my AC on until they were able to start the work on my car and then, when I had to turn my car off & roll my windows down, they had a fan pointed at me to give me air (dont expect to much though--it is blowing the HOT Houston air lol). But I still never broke a sweat in 96 degree summer heat! Jordan and Raven predominantly helped me. Raven was great from the beginning and even after, I was placed behind a car that seemed to need more extensive time than the normal, once she was aware, she made sure to bring it to their attention and get me moved to a different station so they could begin work right away. Jordan also offered wonderful advice on how I could continue to maintain my vehicle and keep costs down with my air filter. They have good upgrade options if needed and will explain the benefits and when synthetic oil is better but do not force upsells. I also was able to just Google Take 5 coupon and had a $15 off coupon texted to my cell phone within minutes. There pricing was fair too. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this location for an oil change. I know I intend to be a regular customer now!
Drove my daughter to college from FL to ID and her car needed an oil change while we were in Texas. Stopped at this location and was super happy I did! Chryssy was amazing! She listened to me and got me what I needed. She offered my family water continuously, and made sure that the fans inside the bays were pointed at us so we didnt overheat.If I lived in Houston, I would definitely get my oil changed here regularly.
This is the worst place to go for an oil change. I paid 75 dollars for what I thought was the best oil they had. The moment I drove away I noticed something wasnt right. I took it back right away and it turns out, they didnt drain it out properly and over filled it. They changed the oil again, this time by a more experienced technician. Still, couldnt get it right! At every cold start, my car blew a cloud of white smoke through the exhaust. When I brought it back to this place for the 3rd time, the experienced technician refused to even look at it again and referred me to a mechanic. Not enough oil was used and my car burned it all out. I also doubt their oil isnt the best quality. I dont know how they get away with doing this. Dont waste your money at this place!
I not much for writing reviews but felt like I needed to with Take 5. First let me say I do all routine maintenance on my vehicle because I don’t trust shops to do it. But after taking my company care here the past 2 times, I’ve been shocked at how profession everyone here is and how honest and straight forward they are. For once, I’m starting to feel like I can take my person cars here! Keep it up!
Brandon was fantastic! I had previously experienced such horrible customer service at this location that I had sworn off returning, but decided to give it another try. Brandon was respectful, helpful, and efficient. I’m rating it 3 stars because this location has been hit or miss for me.
I would have gladly left a reasonably good review and had nice things to say about my experience, but as I’m driving down the road today, I heard a rattle and pulled over. After popping my hood, I see my air filter sitting on top of a wide open housing! There are literally like 4 things that you do as a oil change “specialist”, one being check the air filter and put in back in. Now there’s a rattle that wasn’t there before. Thanks Take 5, just do your damn job.
I’ve been coming here since they opened. I’ve been impressed every time. I stopped by this morning and Quintin handed me a bottle of water as I rolled up. Everything happened in around 5 min tops, and they catered well to my car’s specific needs. I highly recommend Quintin and his team there.

We used to live in this are and would get our service done here. Now we live across town and we still choose to drive and get our service done here. The staff is friendly and we do not even need to leave our vehicle. Its quick and convenient. Thanks guys keep up the good work. 👍🏽
This place and this company is great, I’d say it’s up there with companies like Chick-fil-A and discount tire. Customer service is great, car service is great, you’re in and you’re out pronto, and you feel pampered. Overall great staff in all locations so far, this is where I go to the most and I love it.
Ive taken my car here several times and thought they were doing a good job. Until my skid plate fell off while I was driving down the road. The dealer said every clip on the skid plate was broken off and quoted me over $500 to replace it. Otherwise they were friendly and quick, at the expense of knowing what they were doing.
Best place ever. The manager D and Carlos took care of me and did everything what the invoice claims they did they did it... D has an awesome team and his crew knows how to work under pressure while this shop was packed and backed up they still did the job in a timely manner best believe I recommend them and will be going back.
Ive to this place 3 times in the last 6 months while the products and service is great us the lies and story telling to buy products and services is not. Ive been told I was 1 quart low on transmission fluid yet I wasnt. Told that my oil pan gasket is leaking when it wasnt because my oil fluid level is not done then it was transmission pan gasket was gone, yet 2 months earlier my transmission was servuced. When I told this tovthe tech he had no idea what I was talking about. I didnt even bother to mentiin that i had my transmission flushed byvthem but its not a complete flush either on 7.5 quarts out if 14 quarts, yet left transmission fluid all over my transmission cover. I understand that these businesses need to make money, but not this way. The only reason I go there is because of the proximity to my address hours and the brand of Castrol products they use along with the coupons.
Very friendly carlos & jose worked very well 😊 got me in and out fast. My second time here and honestly I’ll continue coming back with all my cars. Never pressured selled always let me know me what my manufactured recommended! And did I mention a complimentary bottle of water(: great job take 5 like always
They lie to you and tell you they are out of the inexpensive oil, so they can charge you $80 for an oil change. Then they try to rationalize the lie by telling you youre better off because you can get more miles out of the better oil. Then they tell you to come back in 3000 miles. Theres never a line here because this place is a scam. Ive been twice, wont go back. By the way, 5000 miles is the modern accepted interval for an oil change for those that dont know.
I’ll never get my oil changed anywhere else 🤷🏻♀️ The guys are beyond sweet and they never hassle you about spending unnecessary money. Deandrew was wonderful and very professional. Multiple guys helped with my car, cleaning my window and checking on me multiple times while I waited.

2022-07-12I drove up 15 minutes before closing. The crew was slightly annoyed but who wouldnt be when they have to work in the heat, and in direct sun at that time. They were ready to go home, cant blame them at all. But they were very professional young men at work. Knowledgeable. Helpful. And work well as a team so I was confident with their work. Good guys.

2022-06-02Ive been to a couple different Take 5 locations and this one is by far the best. They work as a team and work quickly. I had the chance to observe the manager training a new employee. Very impressed with how patient he was with the new employee. They all communicate with each other especially when vehicles are moving. They care about their customers and it shows!!

2022-07-06Everything seemed fine and quick with my oil change. However about 50 miles down the road my car alerted to an oil level that was too high. Sure enough after checking it had indeed been overfilled by ~0.5 quarts. Upon return to the same location I got bewildered looks and push back that it was true (including showing me the clearly overfilled dipstick). It literally took me showing them the owners manual section on dipstick reading for them to agree that it was overfilled. After that they quickly worked to remove the excess and sent me on my way.

2022-07-08Came in for a state inspection and was quickly greeted and asked if I wanted a cold bottle of water! It’s summer now and hot even at 7 AM!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Thanks guys!!
