Horrible service, priority doesn’t mean anything with this company. Technician Taylor addressed a van prior to all the other vehicle, once I moved lines the manager Jeremy decided to tell me I couldn’t go until the other cars were addressed first! This is what I get for going to a bootleg shop! I feel like this situation was rectifiable by me asking the other drives if it was okay but he wouldn’t allow me to do anything. It was a racist situation and I will never give another take 1 hour again! Regardless if they honor veterans!!
Fast friendly service for a routine oil change. However, as soon as we turned on our car to leave (immediately after the oil change was done) our car started shaking while idle. I told the person working on our car that this just started happening after the oil change and asked him to look and see what it could be. After looking, he said he couldn’t find anything.I got home and took a look under the hood myself and quickly noticed that the entire engine air intake hose was still disconnected (see attached pictures). I know they removed the engine air filter to check its status but I’m not sure why this hose was disconnected as well.Regardless, I would expect someone to double and triple check our engine before letting us leave. This should have been caught by a professional auto service company, especially since I asked them to look again and they still didn’t find an issue (I did, and am nowhere near qualified as a mechanic).This could have cost us our car and/or potentially caused an accident had the car stalled on the way home. Luckily I caught this problem, but I won’t be able to trust them in the future.
Iv been going here since the car was brand new. Could not change my oil last time cause they didnt have the filter.....could not change my oil this time cause the oil plug had been stripped....only people to ever touch it was them...told me to come back when I had a new plug.............service???8/22/20Thank you for getting back to me so fast and fixing my issue ...I knew I went here for a reason.
The workers are friendly, fast, and will explain what they think you need for your vehicle without pressuring you to do anything. One even recommended a good place for a car wash. And cant forget the complementary water on warm days. Id recommend this Take 5 to anyone who asks

Ive been here 3 times. The first time I was turned away. Without even checking, a guy told me that he new that they wouldnt have a part for something my car might need for an oil change. The guy didnt explain it to me, so I left not really knowing why. He might have thought he was doing me a favor, but to me, I felt like he just didnt want to do anything since it wasnt busy. Hopefully Im wrong, but without an explanation for someone who doesnt know anything about cars, it really made me feel that way. The second time I went, I was with my husband, it was busy, and my car was serviced without question. I didnt get anyone friendly like other reviewers have. The third time I went was today. I was by myself and needed an inspection. The guy that greeted me was friendly, but before I could pull in another guy came out and told me that he would be doing the inspection. He then proceeded to tell me that he just wanted me to know that if my breaks failed just by even a tiny bit, he wouldnt pass it. I thought to myself, well obviously! It came across to me that he wanted me to say that I didnt want to get the inspection. I told him that I still wanted the inspection. Then he said he wanted to check my tires. He checked them and then told me that they wouldnt pass, but he didnt come out and directly tell me that. Which is fine because maybe hes not supposed to. But again, there were no other cars, and it made me feel like he was happy to turn me away. I can see how that might come across as helpful, but his tone sounded a lot more like he was put out that he even had to walk out to my car. Once I get new tires, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
Justin G and the crew are fantastic. Justin was very polite, professional, prompt, and most importantly he was honest. I expected needing a complete oil change. Justin concluded that my oil was still good and that it just needed a top-off. Free of charge, as a returning customer! Justin earned my trust and Take 5 earned my loyalty today. I will continue to return to this location for my oil change service. Thanks to the crew there, I saw one other name...Tyler, and a third member....quick and courteous!
On a Thursday morning in July, I waited for 22 minutes before being greeted. When finally greeted, I was told they may not be able to help me because my car is a 2021. Instead of checking to see if filter was available, I was asked to wait another 15 min. Because they dont want to go over there 5 min oil change, he didnt want to scan my bar code. It would have thrown off there stats.
Everyone was fantastic from beginning to end. I was immediately welcomed by Justin the tech who helped me figure out what oil change I needed: Mr. Chris provided me with excellent customer service showing my oil levels before I pulled out! The manager Vivian can up as introduced herself and asked me how my experience went. I have been to this location before but the service this time was worth me writing a review. Thank y’all!
Tried to rip me off because I was a woman. Got upset that I didnt want the $89.99 oil change then said they didnt have the parts to do the regular oil change for 49 bucks after I said I didnt want an almost 100 dollar oil change. Long story short I waited 45 min for nothing. Amazing how they magically dont have the parts to do a standard cheap regular oil change immediately after I decline a more expensive oil change. I dont trust these people!!!
My service was fine, had to wait 45 minutes for the car in front of me to get finished up, I was told it took a while due to being understaffed.Update on service.Day after oil change and my transmission started shifting hard. Btw no issues ever with truck, best truck Ive ever owned.Now my power train light is now on, I have an appointment for service on Friday.Will update afterwards. I went to theAuto part store across the street to read the codes. They said never take vehicle to take 5 they will ruin vehicle.But I reserve the right to update.
I went to get a State Inspection and they failed me because my tail lights are (legally) lightly tented. Ive never had this issue with this vehicle the entire time Ive owned it. Drove up the street to try again and what do you know.......PASS! Screw yall and your $25.
We came on a Saturday mid-day. 2 cars in bays and only 1 being assisted. 3 cars in front of us. No biggie. We’ve had great experience here in the past. However, we sat for 30 minutes before someone came and started working on the 2nd bay. The first car was still there when we left - along with 3 other cars who had been waiting who knows how long. Completely unacceptable for something that usually takes 10 minutes. We won’t be back now. You guys lost 3 customers due to slow service.
Service was excellent! The young lady (kudos on the Girl Power) who assisted me answered any questions that I had...it took less than 15 minutes...she even changed the air filter, with an air filter that I had already purchased and had intended to put in myself, at no cost. I will definitely be going again. In addition, they also do state auto inspections!
Great company, love the business model. However, this location consistently provides poor service. Multiple times I have waited for an oil changed only to be told they do not have the correct oil filter in stock. Even after I specifically asked before waiting. Have been a customer for years. Will never go back to this location again.
Friendly staff and usually pretty quick service. I went on a Saturday and it was busier than other times I have been so I didn’t mind waiting my turn. They offered me water and explained everything to me with picking out my oil. Also got my car inspected there, which I might go somewhere else for a cheaper price, but I just wanted to get it over with while I was there. Overall they were pretty quick with everything especially with it being busy.
This is a great place! John and the others who worked on my car were great. They made sure everything was good to go. When I asked a question about parts of my car or why I should replace something John answered the question and helped out. This place doesn’t disappoint!
Best Oil Change Service I have ever received. Top notch customer service. Everyone I spoke to was polite and respectful. Their service was quick too. My favorite part of it all was that they treated me like a knowledgeable customer rather than talking down to me because Im a woman and must not understand anything. This business is doing things right.
I would just like to share my first ever experience with this business and offer an honest suggestion. This post is not related to service as I opted out after this incident. I decided to patronize the facility because I am a veteran and appreciated the fact that they offer discounts to vets although not applicable to my intended service. I visited the 442 Rayford location this morning with the intention of having my vehicle inspected. I pulled into the business, there were three bays and I parked the the lane for service in bay #3. There were cars being serviced in all of the bays and vehicles in lanes for bays #1 and #2 waiting to be serviced. Minutes later the employee came to my truck to inquire about what services I needed, I informed him that i needed a vehicle inspection, he acknowledged and advised that they could provide that service. The employee then walked to the rear of my truck, apparently to speak to a vehicle that I did not know was there until afterwards. Shortly thereafter, the employee came back to my window and told me that I needed to move to lane #1 for the inspection. He then walked to the front of my vehicle closer to bay #2 and stood. I began backing slowly with my window down. I could see the employee and hear him saying something repeatedly to the effects of uh oh but didnt know why. As I continued backing I made contact with a car that was directly behind me. Prior to backing i physically checked my rear and could literally not see anyone behind me. My truck is a regular full sized truck with no modifications. The lane area in front of the bays is elevated from the driveway to the business. The small car (Honda Civic) that was behind me was on the lower half in the driveway, you literally could not see it. It was low enough to where my rear sensors did not detect the car and to where when I made contact my bumper literally went across the hood. Now I fully understand that I am responsible as well as any other person in this situation, no question there. The part that got me with this is that the employee literally stood and watched this happen without saying a word to me. Instead of repeating uh oh several times he could have easily gotten my attention, my window was down and i was backing slowly. The driver of the Honda told me that prior to telling me to move to lane #1 she asked if she needed to move from behind me but he told her to stay in the lane behind me. I couldnt have moved even if I would have seen her. Again, my responsibility but had he gave simple warning it would have been easily avoided. So my suggestion would be that if you direct the customer to move their vehicle, offer whatever assistance that you can to avoid potential damaging situations. That area can be challenging considering all of the other aforementioned factors....
This was my first time visiting this business, but it certainly wont be my last. The technicians were all very professional, kind, and courteous. They provided me with options, and didnt pressure me to choose. The wait time was minimal, I didnt have to get out of my car, all technicians wore mask and practiced social distancing, and I was even able to find a coupon online which was applied to my purchase. I would reccomend this business to others.
I usually go here for my oil changes. The convenience of staying in my car while they do the work is nice. They are professional, honest, and they are up front about cost and which product is best for what purpose. They dont try to upsell you, they are just very educational about the products in a timely manner. I think the prices are very fair. Im not sure about the logistics but i think they also have students there (or newly graduated techs) and I really like to see that in a company. It shows understanding and patience. Id recommend getting services performed here.
So quick and friendly. I pulled up there was 6 vehicles. But they remained professional and calm and got everyone thru accordingly. They even showed me my oil and schooled me on it. They also went the extra mile to ask me if everything satisfactory before I left. It was! I sat in my car and listened to my podcast and they did it all. The price was good too for synthetic oil. I will be returning. It made me feel safe that they took care of everything properly during this covid.
Service was great they checked and changed everything once after everything was done I pulled off a happy customer arrived at my residence 10 minutes later for only 5 minutes left back out not even 30 minutes later my car started to hesitate also loss of acceleration I was able to make it back home fortunately I decided to let the car sit for about 3 hours went back out to check and notice transmission fueled is everywhere I dont know if they screwed it too tight or loose maybe even cracked I dont know all I know is i am left with more expenses to get my car back on the road....very very disappointed 😡
I love Take 5 on Rayford because of the exemplary and exceptional customer service! I also love that they have a young lady who changes oil and is so knowledgeable about what is typically a mans job! She is tiny, but I can tell, fierce and smart and she loves what she does! I just think 🤔 she is awesome and brave and, for me, a woman who does not know anything about cars, empowering! I have hope because of her!
Ive brought my vehicle in there a few times this year and Ive always received great service. The team is always friendly and knowledgeable. Theyre on top of everything that needs to get done with checking fluid levels and getting the oil changed. Theyre very polite and speedy. I was in and out in about 10-15 min. last time. Ill definitely keep coming back.
They had me in and out quick for an oil change...I have used them multiple times, especially during there $24.99 special. They made sure to give me the biggest special they had at the time and even though it was more than I really wanted to pay, I paid it cause they have always been nice and true to their job and quick. With my oil change I also decided to see if they had my rear wiperblade in stock and have them install it. They were quick, fast and friendly like usual.
The guys at the Take 5 on Rayford Road are always polite courteous and do a great job. I also had my car inspected this time and it didn’t take very long at all. Great place to go and get your oil changed.... you don’t have to get out of the car and they always offer you a bottle of water!! Highly recommend 😄
This is a very trustworthy oil change company. They have changed and service my car for many years. They are very friendly, they explain every detail of things that my car needs.They even offer you a beverage. What place can be so nice than to do that for their patrons.They have even in the past offered my puppy a treat. Or my grandchild a snack is well. This is a very family-friendly company thanks for always being a great service company for my car.
I took my car in for an oil change and it was an amazing experience. Ashley and her team took excellent care of my vehicle, gave us cold water bottles and put a fan on my little one so she wouldnt get too hot. They presented my options and associated prices clearly, answered my questions re: oil performance and swapped my air filter out during the oil change. Theyre really organized and it shows in the swift and efficient service - and friendly too. Ill never take my car anywhere else.
All employees worked like a fine tuned engine. They were very professional and displayed much expertise when servicing my car. I had many questions; and they were all answered professionally and HONESTLY. I am a Senior and recently widowed. I needed a new Cabin Filter, and was unaware that I even had one for example. They went over and beyond the call of duty to make me feel at ease that they were genuinely helping me. I am now a regular customer. THANK YOU . . .
Never again. I swear if I could do a negative star I would have.I came in with one car in the lane before me, and waited a half hour with about 8-9 employees present. Then when I finally went up it took another 20-25 minutes, without things like the windshield cleaning and air filter being checked- upon request.As soon as I pulled out, I got out to check and make sure the skid plate was secured. Since Ive gone to two others location where they lost a screw and again where it wasnt put on properly. Immediately upon exiting my vehicle they called me back to come around again- saying they didnt tighten the plate (another 10-15 minutes of them under the car) I left and stopped at a near by gas station. The plate was completely gone, so I called and they are all apologies saying they would order and replace it after discussing with the manager. However I received a call an hour and a half later saying I needed to come in again, basically claiming it wasnt on secure and it could have fallen off while driving (which I took as your lying). I go back and wait another 40 minutes for the manager to check it- while another car gets helped before me and the said manager finally comes around after doing the other cars oil change. It was the same worker who had helped assist with the original oil change and who I talked to both times on the phone with. After 3 minutes under the car she said that the plate was already missing when I arrived the first time and that was that. My anger is currently seething.
Alexis, is absolutely an amazing manger! I have had my car serviced at a few different locations but she and her team have been the best. Alexis explained my purchase, what I should expect, and updated me as the work was being done. I really appreaciated how professional she was. The entire process was efficient and thorough. I will definitely be returning to this location and sharing my experience with others. Also, I would like to add it was a pleasure to see females working in a male dominated industry. Kudos to Take 5 for removing the glass ceiling!
Went here for the first time this evening and the guys were so nice and professional! James personally took care of me and pointed out something that was hanging down in front of my tire and offered to cut it off for me! For free!! I have been worried about that for a while now and they just took care of it, it was wonderful! I highly recommend this location and these guys are top notch!
The 3 guys working Tuesday night, 6/26/18 at 6:30. They were extremely friendly , honest, professional, helpful and FAST!! Best oil change service I have ever had!! Hand me a water bottle, stay in my car..in and out fast. Wow!! Were very knowledgeable about everything we talked about. Informed me that everything looked great. No need for a filter change ( which I swear anywhere else swears you need a new one...everytime. ) topped off fluids. I will be a Repeat customer for sure!! Thank you guys!!!!
Fast, professional, and friendly staff.Oil changes starting at around $40. I went expecting just an oil change and was pleasantly surprised when they cleaned my windshield, filled my tires, topped off my cleaning fluid and checked my air filters. They got everything done in about ten minutes. Little to no wait time and a drive-thru oil changing facility. They even showed me the dipstick afterwards to show the oil level. I am very impressed and I highly recommend this business to others in the area.
I arrived early in the morning and was greeted by the staff. The gentleman who changed my oil was polite and friendly. Although it took a few minutes more than the advertised 5 (all but one bay’s work area were flooded from heavy rains) I was pleased with the work and the professionalism of my technician.
The staff at Take 5 were friendly, courteous, professional, and FAST! When I arrived they offered me refreshments, informed me of the process, explained what should be done, and why; then did it quickly, efficiently, and RIGHT...I will be getting all my oil changes from them And i tell friends and family how good they are too!
I was there 5 times to do an oil change, only for them to tell me that there is no filter my car 5 times. After waiting for 2hrs the 2nd visit I was given a free oil change coupon to pacify me so I can be 100% satisfied but they never Redeemed that coupon. I ended up tearing the coupon in there face and i did my oil change elsewhere on the 5th day. For me it is a zero star. Bad manager chris, bad management overall
Take 5? More like take an hour and 5.I went during my lunch break, it didnt seem busy as I was 3rd in line and was asked to move lanes and somehow I became 4th in line which added to my wait time.The service seemed professional, and the customer service was decent. I noticed they would yell after each step, which made me think they know what theyre doing.They finally completed their process, I pay and leave.My issue began shortly after leaving their location, apparently they did not fasten the skid plate properly so it began to drag on my way back to work. Seeing as the average 8 min service time turned into 40 minutes there was no way I could go back during my lunch break to get the issue resolved.After work I had to return to Take 5, to get my skid plate properly clipped on and request the service sticker they forgot for my windshield. The added wait time, and the chore of having to return and fight traffic was frustrating.For the $90 I paid, I would expect better service.I doubt I will be returning.
I have been going to this location since Ripleys closed down. They used to bring water to you, and had a fan blowing some air your way as a kind gesture. Yesterday however, no water, and when I was sweating so bad due to no air flow. I got out of my truck, and was reprimanded by the young lady. She could of at least turned a fan on me when I told her what the issue was. To top that off, the price of my oil change went up another 10 dollars, even though I am supplying the oil and filter
I went there because I was able to stay in my car and nobody else had to be in it, and because I had a coupon. After leaving there I saw that my door handle was covered in oil and also that the front of my hood had oily Marks going all the way across it from where somebody had place their oily hands. I then proceeded to spend another $25 getting my car wash to get all the oil off. I had already dried by the time I saw it. When was all said and done I saved nothing and actually spent more and had to deal with cleaning my car.
I had an excellent experience at Take 5 Oil Change on Rayford Rd. The oil change was fast, efficient, friendly and courteous! I would highly recommend taking your car here for quick, in and out service. I even got my windshield wipers changed out! Thank you! I will definitely be telling others about you and coming back myself! You are my new go-to Oil change company!
My service was amazing from the beginning to the end. Ashley ( the assistant manager training) did an amazing job with her team ( James, Nicholas, Justin and Cory). They greeted me with ice cold water and helped guide me into the Bay Area ( which I’m always terrified of). Ashley broke down the different types of oil and made recommendations on which would be the best in my vehicle. Her team worked quickly and effectively in a timely manner. Topped off everything and even cleaned my windshield and aired my tires up. I would definitely and will definitely recommend this shop to my friends and family. No negative comments other than they should provide some time of fans for the employees especially in these heat waves !
Every time I have come here I have been here for more than an HOUR. One time they stripped the screw in my oil pan (they were not clear with me about the issue that was happening or why or how it happened) they never fixed it still. Just put a temporary plug in because the issue is unfixable. I now need a whole new oil pan and I have to pay for it when all I wanted was an oil change. To say the least I am not pleased.
Everytime I go to take 5 I always have an amazing experience. This was my first time coming to this location and marquis was very helpful , very professional and let me know every little detail about my car. He even went out his way to clean my under car sheild because I had a small oil leak from something not being screwed all the way. I will defiantly be coming back to this location for my future oil changes!
I highly recommend Take 5, just got back from taking my nearly 20 year old Excursion there. Checked it all out, oil change and topped off all the fluids and to my surprise, the air filter did not need changing! (Little joke, seems like the air filter ALWAYS needs changing) I will continue to bring my vehicles here, great place and very nice staff. Thanks James and Ashley!
Po is not my full last name. Is this the Take 5 Oil Change on 442 Rayford Rd? How are you going to tell me I am wrong and have the wrong store when I can name the shop manager? What a joke. Never EVER going to any Take 5 again.Original Review - Oil change was not the worst, took almost an hour though because there were a lot of other customers. It probably wouldve gone by faster if the shop manager Chris wasnt out back working on his car the whole time.
Will never return. I dont normally leave reviews but felt I had to because of my experience at take 5. I went to the take 5 on Rayford and was talked in to the more expensive package but got a discount on it (I didnt have a problem with that). The people there were friendly and I had no problem with the treatment I recieved but it took a long time to change my oil and appeared that there were very young inexperienced technicians changing my oil but I didnt worry because it appeared they were being supervised by someone that did have experience. As soon as I pulled out of the bay my oil light came on (was not on before) so I pulled back around and told them the light came on. They called the manager that had already gone home for day to help them troubleshoot. The manager said it sounds like my oil pressure sensor went out (which seemed to be too much of a coincidence to me) but to come back the next day and the manager would look at it. The next day they decided that it must be the kind of oil they used and they changed the oil to a higher grade but the light never went off. So there response to me was that it was the oil pressure sensor that needed to be replaced and just a coincidence that it happened right after the oil change. Fast forward to 6-8 months and 2 oil changes later I go to walmart for an oil change and the tech there tells me that I was missing a piece that holds the cap to the filter which would cause the oil pressure light to come on! He said that if that piece is missing then the oil might not have enough pressure to get the oil to other parts of my car. He said it was probably thrown away accidentally. I went back to take 5 to see if they would make it right and they said they would but then said how do we know if it was us and not someone else? Because the light came on when Take 5 did my oil change! I never even left the parking lot! The manager Chris (different manager than before)said he would call around for the part and put it in for me if thats what I wanted. He told me he called everywhere and no one has my part and they dont even think they make it anymore because my car is too old (its a 2007 hyundai santa fe). He told me he would call me when the part came in so I waited another month risking damage to my car but he never called. I finally called him again and asked if they got the part but again he said no and that he would call me when it came in. Another month passes so I finally took matters into my own hands and called the hyundai dealership and asked if they had the part and lo and behold, they did! I went down and got the part and went to walmart and they did an oil change and put the part in and guess what?? My oil pressure light went off!! All I wanted was for Take 5 to make things right but all they did was give me the run around and would not take responsibility for their technicians losing my part or not putting it back in. I paid more for that oil change than I have ever for any oil change and that was the worst experience I have ever had! I just hope there is no serious damage to my car after driving it for so long like that. I would not recommend Take 5 on rayford but I highly recommend Walmart service center at rayford and 99, those guys know what they are doing and are very professional and give great customer service!
This shop does an excellent job collectively—they seem to work together pretty harmoniously. Chris, the shop manager, gave me detailed answers for each of the procedures that they were going to complete, & Vivian & Dekoven did even more than what was necessary. Thank y’all.
Last visit was not good,I was going to get oil topped off that day,they started taking customers who had gotten there after me and making me wait..even though I wasnt getting my oil changed that day,Im still a customer ..they wanted to get the ones who were spending money even though I was there before them...terrible customer service doing things that way......Im questioning whether going back to that location on Rayford and I45.....thank you..
I just want to say thank you to the entire staff!!! Jennifer and Alexis are two super sweet and smart ladies!!! I was in and out under 5. I loved everything about my experience. Alexis had me laughing the entire time. Nice, clean, fast, and smart. The location is awesome for me. I went on my lunch break and made it back to work with time to spare. You two ladies are WONDERFUL!!! PLEASE keep up the great work, you two women are great at what you do. SUPERWOMEN!!!!!
If I could write a review and give 0 stars I would. Went in to get an inspection and the Inspector and Shop Manager Chris told me that I needed to put mufflers on my truck. I tell him that I do have a muffler. He tells me that I dont and that I have straight pipes. I point out the muffler and he is dumbfounded. He then tells me that I cant have the catalytic converters that I have and wouldnt pass my truck. He told me if I brought him paperwork on what I have on my truck he would pass it. Absolutely everything passed on my truck but since the Shop Manager is ignorant I had to go to National Tire & Battery. A wasted afternoon since you have a Shop Manager that lacks knowledge in his profession.
First time at this place was greeted with friendly service offered a Coke, poweraid, or a water complementary never had to leave my vehicle whole process took only 10 minutes service was extremely friendly and they honored the $13 coupon making the service 24.99 will be a repeat customer! Was also given 2 air fresheners complementary!
Overfilled the car. I brought my own oil and seen him measure it from a distance. Looked like the correct amount but maybe it wasnt. Or maybe the kid that is draining the oil didnt drain most of it. It was getting close to closing time so maybe they wers in a rush to finish. I went there because of reviews but maybe people just care about fast.
I’ll find this place to be exceptional . These people are completely organized they communicate with each other very well they move cars through very efficiently everybody knows what’s going on if somebody did something they call out say what they did so there’s no redundancy or anything these people I’ve got it together
I take my Cadillac here on a regular basis.....the staff is beyond friendly and the customer service is exceptional.....they greet you with a cold bottle of water.....guide you into the bay....are pleasant, efficient and friendly....they cross check so you feel like everything is being tended to...they check and fill any fluids you need.....are honest - they were going to check my wipers and I had just bought new wipers about 3 months ago and they let me know my wipers were good....didnt try to oversell me....Ive been going to my location for 4 times now....I get synthetic oil....I trust them 100%
This place is great, lots of options on oil: conventional, Castrol GTX, Castrol GTX high, Castrol GTX magnetic and Castrol Edge. $13 off discount the conventional or any of them so I paid less than $30 and they top off all fluids, clean windows, etc and provide you a water bottle while you stay in the car. Marquis is great pull up and see him , has a beard. Extremely helpful, friendly and fast!
This place was horrible, I pulled up in the garage and waited 30 minutes just sitting there watching all the workers walk buy and work on the only other car in the garage at the time. They saw me and didnt even greet me. I eventually just left, and I even told the guy and he just laughed at me. Not only will I never coming here again, but Im going to let all of my neighbors and friends in the area know to avoid this place at all costs.

2022-05-20I recently moved to the area. I visited multiple other shops in the area - only to be informed no one had my oil/filters available. This place had BOTH! Jeremy was very helpful and kept me informed of the process. Jeremey and Dominick both did a fantastic job! I will definitely be returning! Thank you!

2022-04-07Two times in a row now has take five failed me completely. The first time I arrived and I didnt leave with a simple oil change for over an hour and 15 minutes. I have no clue why this one took so long, besides for the fact that all of the techs were horse playing and I didnt see a single person that seemed to be trying to take the job seriously and realize that the customer can see and hear everything youre doing. My most recent visit today was about 30 minutes and I didnt get my oil changed, when I arrived they pulled me in and began working on the car while signing up my account for a new vehicle. After the processing they discovered that they did not have my oil filter in stock, however I didnt find out about this for another 20 minutes while they all discussed with each other what they should do and where they should try to go find this oil filter. They called local stores to try and find the oil filter and finally once an oil filter was found then they queued me into the reason why I had been waiting so long. At that point I thought somebody had already left so I continued to wait, until the manager came out and asked what I was waiting here for to the other techs, who said an oil filter. This let me know that obviously no one had gone to get it, since a tech told me that the manager had left to go get my oil filter 5 minutes before. All this while a few of the other crew were once again horse playing and air boxing in full view. Ive been using take 5 at multiple locations for many years and it used to have a very professional and efficient feeling to it, now it feels like their is no accountability. The staff are at least friendly, just unprofessional and slow.

2022-06-17They were nice but I was there for 40 minutes and they made me change lines 3 time. Also they were fooling around the whole time, not saying you can’t work and have fun but if you’re having fun and taking your sweet time then it’s not. Too hot to be sitting in your car more than TEN minutes without AC. Needless to say I won’t be coming back!!

2022-05-20The way they do inspection doesnt make sense. When I first pulled up, they put me in the longest waiting line, while people that came after me were taken to other lines. Then when it was my turn, I pull up for the inspection part. They make me pay then check the lights. Then they take the car out for a break check and come back and send me to the back of the line to wait to complete the other part of the inspection. Doesnt make sense, why not do the break test after everything else is done. Making people wait longer for no reason. Nothing against any of the workers, theyve been very nice and get things done as fast as they could. But make a plan that makes sense so no one has to wait again for an additional 30 mins to finish an inspection. This was the only take 5 oil does this, everyone else does the break check even before you pull in. My total wait time was 1.5 hours

2022-04-12I went in for an oil change. Took my Mercedes and it took a while but I was ok with that. What I wasnt ok with was when I started noticing smoke allot of it! I pulled over and my engine what smoking. I called the number to the location and of course it went to a call center. They told me to drive back to the location. Not happy having to drive back with asmoking car. When I got there they realized that they didnt tighten the oil cap enough this cause oil to spray on the engine. I lost about 1/2 a quarter of oil. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Had I gotten on the highway this would have not ended well at all. They replaced the lost oil and sprayed degreeser on the engine. Oh and they gave me a free oil change next time REALLY.. Now I have the burnt oil smell in my car and oil over parts of my engine after paying about 140.00 for an oil change. I WONT TAKE MY CAR BACK!! 😤

2022-01-30I arrived early and the gorgeous young lady with the nose piercing informed me they had a hose break in the shop and would not be able to perform the service. She was extremely nice and very proffesional with conveying the information in a timely manner. They also provided all of us with a 25% off card that can be used at any location. 10/10 customer service.

2021-12-18Ive used this company before in Huntsville and had great experiences. I just moved here and expected the same. I called in beforehand and they said there would be no wait because it only take 10 minutes. There are 3 bays. All 3 were full at the time, but no one after. I pulled up and shortly after so did 4 other cars. I waited about 25 minutes, the car in the bay had yet to move. 40 minutes later the 2 of the cars that pulled in after me got into bays. 1.5 hours later ALL the cars that pulled in after me have gone through. No one has come out to my car and said anything about an issue with the original car in my bay, letting me know I should move to another lane. Nothing. I think Ill just drive to Huntsville next time.Update: Got my oil changed, it was only 15min after pulling in. The employee was kind. Still dont understand why it took almost 2 hours for 1 car and no one to say anything to me.
