I made reservations here because my husband and I were taking a mini honeymoon in Athens. We were expecting a romantic experience at a Winery. The waitress walks up and the first thing she says is “I don’t normally serve here so if I mess up just let me know, I don’t even really know the menu or anything.” We we’re like okay….. then she proceeds to bring us water and then goes “if you need anything else let me know!” And walks away. I had prepaid for bread and stuff through their website and we had to go inside to ask for menus and everything. We ended up leaving because even if the wine and food would be good it wasn’t worth the horrible service. I took a chance on this place despite the negative reviews, but let me save you some time, Don’t go here.
The Vineyard is very nice . Cute set up, makes you feel at home, nice country feel... everybody is down to earth. Austin and Judy, very helpful people. We tasted several wines... Ended up buying the blueberry Blanc and another wine. We made a reservation online and ordered the delicious bread with olive oil (i think Judy said the dough is from California 😋 (maybe it has to do with the foggy climate that gives it the great taste) and charcuterie board .. very tasty... prosciutto salami and I think sopressata. etc😋 . The precious dogs walk around (of course they need the dogs to run the raccoons etc off at nite/day).. always on duty. . Great place for party wedding etc. If you have any questions theyll help. Lots of history here.
We enjoyed ourselves at Tara and stayed overnight there in our RV. They offer RV parking with no power or with electricity, however I believe there are only three parking spots with power. We enjoyed the wine as well as the meat and cheese board and later we had dinner all the food was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and especially Brandon took good care of us.
I generally don’t post reviews; positive or negative. I tend never to be swayed in either direction. But after reading a few of the negative reviews about this place, I felt it was my obligation to chime in.We stayed in the Inn for the weekend and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised.First of all, the location is amazing. Just over an hour away from Dallas, you would think that you just flew into NapaValley. The views from the upstairs wrap-around balconies were breathtaking. The bedrooms and accommodations were world class. Now to the winery…It is located a few hundred yards from the Inn. It has a cozy fully air conditioned inside bar and restaurant (for dem city folk). Then there is the large outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyards. There are lots of fans and a small music performance stage. It is perfect. Now to the staff and customer service….Being an avid traveler, I have experienced none better. We were checked in by the owner, Suzanne. She was super friendly and worked alongside the staff. We were also greeted by the hostess/ server Caryssa and the chef Brandon. We informed Brandon that we were vegetarian and asked if he could accommodate us. BOY DID HE!! While we were enjoying the wine and cheese board, he came out and sat down with us to customize our dinner. He went out of his way to whip up an amazing fresh pasta dish with the pepper cream sauce that he made from scratch. He also made an awesome grilled cheese for our son. By the way, none of these items were on the menu. Everyone took the extra effort to even remember our names. A nice touch. And finally, who doesn’t like dogs? The dogs did approach us at our table but they were nothing but sweethearts. They did not beg for food and we did not hear one peep out of them. They simply sat. But, we did give them some of our food. Don’t tell anybody…This place deserves nothing but a five star review. We felt like we were at a family barbecue.
Beautiful spot ... super out of the way but well worth it.Good food, great wine, tasting opportunities of a wide variety, walk the grounds of planted grapevines.Serene area, 8 person adjactent townhouse available for rentals and parties.Family like atmosphere of very welcoming owner and staff
Absolutely do NOT recommend this winery. The owner was the one who waited our table and right from the moment we sat down was very sarcastically rude toward us she just had the ugliest attitude. We were told that we’d get water, we never got any and when we asked for some we were told by the owner that we didn’t receive any water because we did not order any food. We received such poor service, while everyone else was getting checked on and waited on, when we addressed this, the owner used the excuse of being short handed in a very stuck up rudely way, in which they were not even busy, she was able to feed the llamas and have full conversation with the table next to us, oh but we received poor service because of them being “short handed”. The winery itself is not at all appealing, you’re basically in a garage. The chair cushions are dirty, missing cushions, torn cushions. They also have four dogs that come beg at your table. All in all, worst experience ever!
Carissa helped us when we arrived, her energy, and attentiveness made our experience wonderful! We were tentative upon arrival as the person who answered the phone when we called to verify times of operation was less friendly. The views were perfect, we arrived to catch sunset and it was beautiful.
This place is a great find, the wines we tasted were all fantastic, the food here was absolutly wonderful without a stuffy atmosphere, the hostess weather she is the owner or manager was a wealth of information, the chef came out and took our order, discussed cooking options and prepared our food meticulously.Cant praise this place enough.
🍷 wines are fabulous! Lunches and dinners are incredibly tasty and beautifully presented 🙌 Winery has a lovely rustic look with a welcoming feel along with outstanding views. Super fun and relaxing. I ❤️ the Inn! Every room is wonderfully decorated and the atmosphere is just perfect!
We ate at the restaurant tonight, and although it had great ambiance, the service was horrible and food was overpriced and not very good. There was a ridiculous wait to for food, drinks- everything. When it did arrive, if it ever did, it was wrong. The waitress continuously commented on how busy they were, but there was hardly anyone there and most tables sat empty. She said they ran out of wine glasses, they never brought us napkins or water and we had to go ask for silverware. We never received the drinks we ordered and the final bill charged us for 3 items we’d ordered but never received. There are 5 dogs that live on the property and promptly beg at your table once food arrives. The wait staff would stop and pet the dogs as the went in & out and we can only hope they washed their hands before serving food. Another guest brought a small lapdog with her and two of the dogs there were barking and jumping on her trying to attack her dog. It was pretty frightening yet not one waiter or staff tried to stop it or help her. This place has such potential and with a small amount of effort could be amazing, Unfortunately it’s just not there. My best advice is go to have wine and enjoy the atmosphere, but have dinner elsewhere. Whatever you do, don’t order the $26 charcuterie board- it is hugely disappointing.
Tara was cute and had a nice view, however, everything else about Tara winery was awful! My boyfriend and I sat at a table for about 10 minutes before even being talked to. The servers saw us, just chose to ignore us. Then the owner came over and brought us water and apologized that they were short staffed. She didn’t take our order or anything. We sat there for another 5 minutes before a server came over to take our order. (Mind you there were about 5 tables in the restaurant. 2 tables looked like regulars as both waitresses continued to only talk to them). When ordering a bottle of wine the waitresses tried getting us to buy a bottle that was $22 more than the bottle ordered. When she brought the bottle she dropped it off and left. Other tables had their wine poured for them. Then 2 more tables came in and the owner complained that tables were coming in. We then waited about 20 minutes to ask for our check. We asked one waitress that wasn’t ours for the check and she replied “umm I’m not your waitress”. We then continued to wait another 10 minutes for our check. The server only came to our table because another costumer noticed we were trying to get her attention. Wouldn’t go back. Wouldn’t recommend. There are other winery’s to try in town. Go to them instead!
The three stars is for the wine and that’s it. The service doesn’t deserve anything more than 1. I came out here because my parents live close by and had bought me a bottle of their wine for my birthday and I wanted to buy some more for Valentine’s Day. The wine is good and the scenery is pretty but there’s a lot left to be desired. We weren’t really greeted by the lady at the front counter when we got in. She knew absolutely nothing about the wines or their pricing. She didn’t have anyone else to refer us to get information on the wines either. She was very quick to try to sell us on a tasting when I asked if I could taste the particular wine I was looking at before I bought it since I only had an idea of what it was because she knew nothing about it. When we explained that we couldn’t stay for a whole tasting she just got quiet and stared at us until we told her which bottles we would purchase. This is not okay. Anyone who is selling your wines should be able to at least tell you what they are and be able to point you to something that might be what you’re looking for. I wanted to come back one day and do the full tasting but now I think I’ll skip that and find somewhere else to go for that. After reading the reviews I’m so glad the management never got back to me regarding having my wedding there.
Went with a group for a wine tasting yesterday and this vineyard & winery is gorgeous. A very laidback family owned feel. The charcuterie board, cheese board, and Brussel sprout salad were incredibly delicious. Friendly staff, quick service, tasty wines and cute llamas made for a great experience. You can also rent the massive house in the photo! We will be back and I highly recommend.
Swung by a few months ago with my fiance and friends. We did wine tasting and had dinner there. The food was great, wine was unique, and the scenery/ambiance was both quaint and welcoming. Our hostess, Jennifer, was brash and a very funny lady.. We enjoyed her character. Thanks for the wonderful time.
Cute and quirky place. Only came for the wine and not the stay. Greeted in an odd way at the start. Not many people around but the server was nice. The wine tasting I felt was a bit over priced but we did get a wine glass but no crackers. Nice little place to check out if you have the time.
This hidden gem is the perfect east Texas weekend getaway. We sampled several wines, both sweet and dry, and they were excellent. Some varieties of grapes are harvested right on the property. We had dinner there one evening - I had the filet and my wife had a burger. Both were delicious. We stayed at the Inn one evening, and found the Victorian-era home to be beautiful and very nostalgic. We stayed in the Gone With the Zen room, which is one of the smaller rooms, but was perfect for the 2 of us. The matress and comforter were so comfortable. There was a balcony adjacent to our room that overlooked the property, and a game room across the foyer. The staff was nice and so helpful. Well definitely be back!
Wonderful and charming dining rooms, each with their own ambiance. Romantic and rustic. Views of grapes growing on the sloping terrain. A bed and breakfast historical home in the distance. Cows or cattle in the side acres. What more could you want as a get away from stressful work or weekend away?Everything on the menu is tasty. Unique weekend specials abound. And deserts that are so large that they could be shared. We have been visiting throuhout the past year and met the chef and owners. Never had a bad food experience or poor service. A foodie would definitely be happy here.
The food and Service was beyond fabulous. The chef is well known and he made an appearance at our table. If you have not tried the wine or restaurant you have lost out. Their main concern is the comfort of their guests. I bought 2 bottles of wine on the way out. Give it a try. Sherry from kemp
We went just to grab a wine tasting and a quick bite to eat. We brought our dog who was on a leash like the sign said. Immediately he was surrounded by three growling dogs. We took him inside and were greeted by a less than enthusiastic employee who was unconcerned about the dogs. One of the waiters was trying to be helpful and offered to bring the dogs inside but we didn’t want to cause trouble so we brought ours back outside and sat down, about two minutes later he was surrounded again. So if you have a dog, don’t bother. Also it’s overpriced.
Tara Vineyard is about an hour south of downtown Dallas. We were very impressed with the wine taste and quality. There is a beautiful antebellum style gone with the wind B&B house adjacent on the property. We did not stay, but walked through the house and it would make for a terrific get away. The food (the owner acknowledged issues a year or so ago and indicated those have been resolved) was quite good and reasonable. Dogs are VERY welcome and ours had a blast running free. They do not bother guests, but enjoy roaming the vineyard and playing. But, above all, the wines were outstanding. We look forward to a return soon!
Was gona do a wedding at the winery, beautiful place, staff was friendly, the owner made a remark pertaining to my finances as if i could not afford to rent the whole place for a day, which was unprofessional and rude. With that being said i went elsewhere and paid more for the days rental of a venue for the wedding and it turned out out fabulous! I did not taste the food or the wine so i cannot express my opinion,,,
The property is definitely beautiful and we very much wanted to like this place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a strange hostility when inquiring about doing a tasting on the patio. They let us do this but it turns out, a tasting (which was 5 wines and 1-2 sips worth) was $20 a person - they had bottles for sale for that much. The tasting did not include any description of the wines but was just 5 pours and honestly that price is quite steep. The server acted a bit unfriendly and each pour was put in the same glass without a rinse and she grabbed them off the table by the rim with her fingers. We also ordered a cheese board which came with a very large serving of cheese and no bread which seemed odd. It was also not what the menu described it as (they described pecans and jam and neither of those were on the plate) I am definitely not picky when it comes to cheese but eating a scoop of pimento with a spoon isn’t that appetizing. All told we had 2 tastings, a cheese board and a small side salad and the bill was $70. I feel a bit ripped off and the price tag with the poor service ensures I won’t go back, unfortunately.
My wife and I look forward to coming out to Tara Winery every time we visit Athens. The setting and outdoor seating are wonderful, especially coming from Seattle’s cold spring temps. Our idea of wine tasting has evolved into finding beautiful wineries, tasting something we like, and buying a bottle to enjoy on the property. Of course we add a good cheese plate/appetizer for pairing. The staff is great too. So, with these things as our guide, Tara is a 5.
Evening time nice outside with the music, but dinner horrible. We ordered 2 steaks, medium. Mine almost over cooked, the other well done. When we said something to waitress, she said they would take off. But at checkout, manager only gave half off. Ordered pasta marinara for kids, good for grownups, but too Spicy for kids. Should say so on menu. When seated, given bread plates for bread that doesnt exist. Asked and waitress acted like bread had never been invented. No bread! Why the plates then?Dogs running everywhere. Begging for food, scaring kids with barking.Sorry, fine for a glass of wine, not much else. Need new manager and chef, revamp the place if it wants to survive.
Absolutely stunning place...but the three stars are for the complete lack of service during the entirety of our weekend staying at the inn. From the very beginning we were out of towels and toilet paper. Couldn’t get a hold of the maintenance staff. In fact, they locked the room to the extra supplies so we had no options. Don’t get me wrong, it’s well worth staying there for the privacy and beauty of the - but the service left more to be desired. We had different people communicate different things to us about how full the inn would be. The main lady was very short and not helpful. To top things off, I’ve been without a purse-(ID, cards, money, and the rest) for two weeks now because they haven’t returned it in the mail. All in all, I think for the money, we were left disappointed. Hope that if we ever choose to stay there again, that it will be a better experience!
My husband booked the cottage for a romantic weekend getaway. I was so excited! Its a rare thing. We get to the vinyard at 2.30pm on Friday 5/3. It was a ghost town. One lady was there running around answering phones and totally seemed like things were out of control. We quickly find out the cottage wasnt ready because they didnt book our reservation (even though we had the confirmation thru Expedia) and wouldnt be ready for hours. We were a little put off but didnt let it show. We had a glass of wine, enjoyed the views and then decided to go into town for dinner. We returned around 7ish. Surprisingly, We are taken off of the Vineyard property and into the woods next door. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SKETCH. We drive up to someones house and see behind it, a shed. The grass all around is knee high, there are some window screens and what looked like a lumber pile in the front yard of the house and another pile on the side of the shed/cottage. Was not inviting to say the least. TIP TO OWNER: Someone who can afford a weekend getaway at a Vineyard expects more than this. Anyway at that point my heart started to sink. We walk in the shed, and it smells of old mold, the furnishings look like it came from Goodwill, the shower had a clump of hair, stale coffee in the pot, trash on the floor. The place legit looked like a 20 year old guy lived there, complete with electric guitar and amp. Thats when I start crying. Our credit card was already charged $385 at this point. We were told the owner or someone related to the owner lived in the house. How deceiving to pay for a secluded cabin in the woods and it end up being a shed in someones back yard.I call up to the cafe and a gentleman (the chef/manager) was quick to get us into the main house which was great. He had some choice words about the shed saying he is sick of this happening and its just not worth it, etc. Anyway, we go back up to the vineyard thinking we will take the opportunity to first, thank the man that upgraded us and in return get an apology for our inconvenience, then have a glass of wine and dessert before going back to another room. Disappointingly the man must not have seen the importance to greet us because he was long time during the 5 minutes it took us to drive back to the vineyard. During the HOUR we waited for the room to ge ready, We had to go inside and ask the 3 staff that were chatting to eachother every time we wanted a glass refill, were never asked if we wanted a menu, or even water, which is ridiculous since there was literally 2 other people there and they were already done with their dinner. TIP TO OWNER: The staff really need training on how to serve a guest, explain the wine menu (do you have a wine menu cause I didnt see it), and make a patron feel special.9.30pm, and we are finally shown to our room by a very nice young lady who apologized and said this happens a lot. Everyone always gets upgraded to the main house. So, the room was nice, but hot and overpriced, but waaay better than the shed. We specifically wanted privacy (hints why we searched for a cabin) but ended up sharing the house with another couple (awkward).Saturday morning comes (5/4/19), and we are both refreshed from a great nights sleep. The bed was super comfy. Online it says breakfast is included but we were told if we wanted something, wed have to wait til noon when the restaurant opens. um no we are not going to wait that long for breakfast... Anyway she left us a plate of 2 slices of bread, 2 huge chunks of bleu cheese (yikes), and two hard boiled eggs in the fridge. Sweet thought but seriously who is going to eat that? We are gone pretty much all day (9am-7pm) Saturday and get back to the room expecting turnover service considering we paid almost 400 bucks. Nothing was touched. No fresh towels, no bed made, nothing. So we packed our stuff to leave cause we are just over it. We absolutely didnt get value from this experience. If anything, we feel like we were lied to and stolen from.
I was thinking about setting up a special night at Tara. Looking at the 50/50 reviews I am very reluctant. I dined there when the Winery was first established. I enjoyed it. But as usual things go downhill when you mess with the original cook and the establishment has been around for awhile. I will come and partake of the wine, and see what is going on. If it is not up to par then my husband and I will dine elsewhere for our special night.
My wife and I stayed at the house a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it immensely. In fact we wanted to setup a weekend for us and two or three other couple friends on Valentines day 2016. I called and spoke to a gentleman (I believe Patrick) in the spring of 2015. I informed him of my plans and asked to make a reservation. He informed me that they were hoping to get a wedding on that weekend and asked me to call back in late Sept. or early Oct. I was disappointed but agreed. Upon calling back at the end of September (just a few weeks ago) I talked with a woman who informed me that they do not reserve for the following year until after the January 1st. I explained my conversation with Patrick, she agreed to have him call me back so we could discuss it. A week and a half later after no call I once again contacted Tara Winery, the lady seemed to remember me and assured me that Patrick would call me back that very day. Now, two weeks later, no calls or emails I am reviewing your business. This is idiotic to ignore people who have already payed to stay at your facilities and is excited to spend even more time and money there. I do not know who is in charge there, but there needs to be some changes. I will DEFINITELY tell all my friends here in Dallas to stay away.
Tara Winery is beautiful. The wine is spectacular. So much so my wife and I named our daughter Scarlet Rose after the popular Sweet Scarlet Rose wine they serve. We used to go here a lot. Ive even performed here many times as Im a singer/songwriter. The food was great when it was over seen by Chef Payne but since hes been replaced its gone down hill. I wont name names here any further but nonetheless, in 2016 the person in charge of booking made a very false claim against me that caused the owners, whom I was close to, to not want me booked anymore. This was a place of zen and comfort for my family so we were devastated by this...
The concept of the cottage was great. We watched a thunderstorm from the front porch but that is what we like. The cottage is cute BUT there is no ceiling just bamboo curtains nailed to the 2x4. There is insulation hanging between the bamboo. The shower is cute but so uneven standing on the tiles is uncomfortable. The reason we wont go back is the mold in the bathroom and the smell of mold and mildew is bad. Also the smoke alarm has been removed. The water was fine, clear and no smell.
We stayed at the Inn this past weekend for our honeymoon and had dinner at the restaurant our first night there. They treated us so special, and we enjoyed the staff, the wine, our meal and the Tara Inn so much! The chef even went out of her way to accommodate my dairy allergy. Thank you, thank you! We will be back!
So far right now I’m very disappointed in the inn. We wanted a fun place for a thanksgiving get together for my family, so we rented the whole inn. When we checked in we went to eat and we were told to come back in an hour or so because they already had a party. So we just had pizza in the inn. However, when we were walking around the inn, there was empty beer cans and bottles and wine bottles all over the place. There was food in the fridge from who knows when, and there was about a roll and a half of toilet paper in the whole inn. For the amount of money I spent on the rooms, I can only say that I will not be returning to this place. My sister loved it when her and her husband stayed previously, but even they were less than impressed this time.
This is a special place for my wife and I. We first found Taras Vineyard when we stayed in Athens for a weekend getaway. Wish we stayed overnight but we plan on coming back for our anniversary. We have also enjoyed every meal we have had at the Cellar Door, Chef B is amazing!!
I went on a Wednesday around 3PM so it was not busy at all but our service was amazing and the property is absolutely gorgeous! I’m not the most educated when it comes to wines but our server listened to what we liked and got us great options! Pricing was very reasonable! Would love to come back on a weekend and see the social vibes!
Beautiful hilltop view from restaurant of the vineyard and storied Murchison mansion. The chef Becklynne James is among the young visionary chefs at wineries all over the country who are reinventing southern cuisine with a nod to farm to table sourced from local growers. Couple that with some truly above average wine and youve got yourself one heck of a weekend day trip. Splurge and order up a bottle of carriage house ,or if you prefer white, a bottle of Blanc du Bois made from grapes grown on-site.
When is a rack of lamb = 4 chops? I guess it when you are eat in Texas near Athens. When is rare - grey all the way through the meat? I guess when you eat lamb at Tara Vineyard and Winery. Extremely disappointing, When are grilled vegetables the same as sauteed? I guess when you eat at Tara Vineyard and Winery. When are fresh mashed red potatoes fresh out of a box? I guess when you eat at Tara Vineyard and Winery.
I had the worst service.. took about 10-20 minutes to even get a menu and an additional 5 minutes for someone to even assist us (they walked passed us several times knowing we havent been assisted). Our hour and half food was okay, wine was meh. The only thing that made up for the service was our waiter, Adrian.
Nothin less than a love affair. As a native of Clifornia I was home sick. FindingTARA, well it made me think of Temecula, Cal. It also had a taste of nothern Cal in her, yet it is all TEXASOur anniversary could not of been spent in a more romantic and beautiful place.
I stopped by when I used Getaway Piney Woods. It has an open terrace where you can enjoy food and wine with a wonderful view. With flamenco music, you can feel like you are in Europe. You can drink wine here as well, and you can take your bottle home with you. We also had a special non-alcoholic grape juice! As the sun went down, I could see even more beautiful scenery. There were also animals such as llamas and cows.

2022-01-21This is one of our favorite little spots to go unwind. My husband and I go every year for our anniversary and we go just about every date night. Food is great and the wine is wonderful. We have stayed at the house with a group before it was very clean and Carissa took care of us. She is an amazing server make sure to ask for her when you go She will take amazing care of you. By far the best service we have had She does everything she can to make your experience at the winery the best.

2022-02-26We had a wonderful time on this freezing evening. We had a nice space heater to keep us warm as we enjoyed The Couples Flight which includes a half loaf of warm sourdough bread. The wines we selected were go and we found several we liked! I especially liked the Spanish Grapes and the Moscato wines. The staff was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us and very knowledgeable about all the wines.

2022-07-03The atmosphere was quant but if you sit outside they have 5 or 6 resident dogs roaming around the tables just in case you’re not a dog person. We did a couples tasting which was pretty pricey for what you get. Wine tasting portions were very small compared to other wineries in the area. We received a list of available wines to taste but no mention or explanation of ingredients in the wines and the server did not provide that information on the wines either. We were a little disappointed with what we got for the price. Service was also slow and spotty.

2021-11-28These people are so sweet! Caryssa and Austin were so helpful and funny, made us feel right at home. Judi is an amazing cook! She could give Gordan Ramsey a run for his money. We didn’t have one thing to eat that wasn’t superb. The wine was amazing. Kari is hilarious and helpful. Will be returning very soon. They made our anniversary very special and memorable. We felt like family.

2022-05-22Please listen to these people about the food! I worked there for a very short time and after not getting paid and having to report and deal with that I do feel obligated to say don’t eat the food except for their frozen flatbread pizza and the wine is safe. They are not able to avoid cross contamination due to no sink anywhere near where the cook (that also quit) prepares the raw meats and bruschetta. The dogs get up on the counter and eat the meat trimmings and no there’s no cleaner or disinfectant back there to clean up with. I guess the cheese and charcuterie boards are fine. Idk when I made them and no I don’t have a food handlers license, but the dogs were more concerned with the meat. Just be careful and try to stick to their frozen foods and deserts those are not homemade they are bought so you will be safe.

2021-11-23This was my 2nd time experiencing an overnight stay at the home. It was absolutely nothing short of amazing! Austin, Clarissa are the BEST wait staff ever. They both keep my table laughing all night. The dinner was delicious, the Rib eye, or the Herb Chicken scalloped potatoes..mmmmmmmm cant go wrong. S/O to the Chef, she was SO sweet. The owner is very friendly. Even the dogs made you feel welcomed. I cant for my next visit.Morris Party 🥳🎉

2021-07-31Although the atmosphere was not too bad, the food was extremely disappointing. For the price we paid for an “award winning chef” the fillet mignonette was very tough, with minimal flavor, and hard to chew. The wine was mediocre, the barista was doing his best to accommodate us but didn’t seem very involved or personable at all. Never asked us if we had liked the wine we were tasting, or attempted to point us into the right direction on likes and dis-likes. This place has potential, but most definitely needs some staff training. We were disappointed and would not recommend at this time.

2021-10-24Tara was a unique experience and a place we would definitely recommend to others if looking for a great getaway. The historic home is well maintained, the winery and vineyards are homey and inviting. The staff is warm and welcoming and the wine and food delicious! This was a one of a kind destination.
