Honesty and Integrity Exemplified. Tejas Ranch & Game Fence has not only provided us with amazing fencing for our farm, but they have restored the untended acreage to its former glory. It is unusual in this day and time to find a company that actually follows through with a project from start to finish and delivers exactly what they promised. Working personally with John Payne and his daughter made the process go smoothly. I cant say enough good things about this company. If you want honesty and straightforwardness on your project, these are the people to hire.
On Saturday 3/11/2020 we either had a tornado, or some very severe straight line winds out in the Golden Texas area. I ended up with two very large trees over the Game Fence that Tejas installed for me. It has been up a little over 3 years. In one place it was all the way to the ground. John advised me to cut the trees off the fence and it would spring back in place. I seriously doubted that, but had to cut them off to make the repairs I thought I would have to make. One tree was big enough to crush the fence to the ground, take out the power lines in the right of way, and still go all the way across the county road. Amazingly enough when we cut them off the fence sprang back up most of the way. A little coaxing by loosening the attachment wire and it was almost good as new. The only area that has to be worked on is the one T post the tree folded in half. Amazing Fence, Im happy to have it.

Tejas proved over and over why they are the BEST! We had about 14 Miles of fence replaced on this project between cross fence and perimeter. And no matter what problems it through at them. They had it figured out fast. From installing culverts, water gaps, or removing trees. They have the equipment to get the job done right. Willy and the crew worked long hours through all types of weather to complete this job. John and his crew did and excellent job on our high fence. They were very professional and got the job done quick. He even referred me to someone who has helped me find some top of the line exotics animals. Couldn’t be happier with the results. I can highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future!
They are a great company and give free quotes. They also responded to my online inquiry immediately! I dealt with Robert the entire time and he was always very receptive and responsive with me. Couldnt be happier with my experience on the installation of a new fence to keep hogs out and my sheep in on over twelve acres. Also had them install two new culverts, re-grade about six acres, and add new gravel on our roadway! I will definitely be calling them in the near future for other things I will need done.
They installed about 7 miles of fence on my place with entrances designed second to none. John and his crew are honest, hard working, and care about you the landowner and your most prized possession: your land. I made the right choice using these folks; it cost me more than I had planned, but in the end I got what I wanted and have no doubt in the future if I have a problem, John and his staff will be there for me.

My entry gate was not exactly what I had envisioned and Kip had it rebuilt to my satisfaction, no questions asked and NO additional monies from me. Rare these days. 2021-06-25Tejas has been a great company to work with. Personable, helpful and a vested interest in your project. I found out about Tejas just through driving around in my area and seeing their fences. Tejas enclosed my property with a wildlife fence to keep the wildlife out and my dogs, sheep and horses in. In addition I have interior pasture fences and paddock fences. They did a beautiful job on my front entrance gate. Its amazing that they took very sentimental picture and laser cut it in metal for my gate. They did a great job! Then Tejas is there when I need them. My horses ran through one of my interior fences and they were there later that day to take a look and set up a time to come back and fix it. Questions, they are there to answer them. Through them I now have a good connection for weed control on my fence line to keep my electric hog fence clear of weeds. If you are needing to build a great quality fence and have great support after that fence is built..Tejas Ranch & Game Fence is the company you should go with. Thanks Tejas!

2020-08-10For years I have studied and admired fences, gates and construction materials for my ranch. I received several quotes and spoke to a number of fence builders however after meeting with John and Katherine, there was no doubt who would be my pick for a gated entry and pipe fence for my ranch. Phone calls, design meetings and finally construction went off without a problem. The professionalism, construction and materials used by Tejas is second to none. Tejas delivered on all fronts and the quality of this project is better than I could have imagined. I am so happy to have found Tejas and be able to not only call them a contractor but now a friend. 2019-04-15Like anyone needing game fencing, we had animals we wanted to keep in and animals we wanted to keep out.Wed spoken with two different companies before Tejas Ranch and Game Fence came out to give us a bid for our fencing needs. All we can say is, Why didnt we call them first?Not only was John professional, he was genuinely interested in understanding our unique needs. He walked our property with us going through a decent amount of nasty underbrush. He was the only fencing company that physically took the time to see what obstacles we had. His quote came in quickly and he began the job on schedule.His staff was knowledgeable, more than efficient, respectable and did an immaculate job. His equipment is top notch, his materials are of excellent quality, the finished project far exceeded our expectations.Dont waste your time contacting other game fencing companies. 2019-03-18Our development had been experiencing a continuous feral hog problem for over two years. We chose Tejas Ranch and Game Fence to install hog fence to keep them out. From the first phone call to Katherine at Tejas, I knew we were dealing with a professional company. Robert, the project manager came out on two occasions and walked the old fence line with us and explained the installation process. The crews who did the installation were efficient and cordial and the fence looks great!The owner, John Payne, came out after the job was complete to ensure we did not have any issues and we were satisfied with the job.And finally, the job was completed within the budget estimated in the beginning.I would recommend Tejas to anyone needing game fencing..

2018-01-03I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Tejas Ranch & Game Fence. We purchased a 90-acre ranch in East Texas last summer that needed land and road improvements. Tejas developed an organized plan and then successfully executed it. We now have three new roads around the houses, trails through the back woods (making the thick woods usable and enjoyable) and a pond that is catching and holding water thanks to a berm system Tejas came up with for us. John and his team are incredibly professional, reliable and all around good guys. We look forward to working with them on many future projects.
