I highly recommend this company. We had an AC problem on a holiday weekend and not only did they come out to service it, but they went to the upmost to get to the bottom of the mysterious problem it was having and eventually resolved it! Awesome job.

Reid was out today to diagnose our 1.5-ton upstairs A/C system that has failed to cool. He is very personable, professional, and efficient. Reid quickly evaluated the system and provided guidance as to whether a repair or replacement was most appropriate for this 18-year-old system. Iappreciate his honesty and his clear explanation of the issues. We will have further discussions with TemperaturePro regarding how to proceed with replacement. The excellent online reviews of this company are consistent with my experience today.
TemperaturePro was fabulous to work with when my AC was being sluggish and also for the check-up a few weeks later. They were able to squeeze me in and everyone I spoke with was professional, incredibly helpful and sweet. The servicer, David, was very professional and knowledgeable. He kindly took the time to explain the system situation and my service/cost options. I felt like he was taking my best interest into consideration and wasnt trying to upcharge me like most companies attempt - a rare fine! My AC is working great and I look forward to them doing a checkup on my furnace in the fall. 10/10 recommend.
Tim came out late to my house across town due to my AC going out the night before. He diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge and stayed almost until 7 at night to get it done. Tim, his office staff, and technicians have been absolutely great every time Ive worked with them. Theyve also had the best price on every bit of work weve had done and leach time they completely fixed the issue without any residual issues so far.In an area where Ive had a lot of bad experiences with contractors and technicians, Tim and his crew are a very welcome change of pace
Tim and the team over at TemperaturePro Austin are simply the best in town. We were having some issues with our less-than-new unit, and every other HVAC company just wanted to sell us a new one without trying to repair what we had. TemperaturePro came out within 24 hours, spent as much time as was needed to figure out what was wrong and resolved the issue saving us thousands of dollars. Theyll definitely get our business again in the future.
We had an air conditioning system installed on 5/10 by Temp Pro West Austin. It has been over two months and after phone calls and e mails, we still have NOT received our warranty paperwork nor our rebate $ from Pedernalees Elec. We are pleased with the system but horrified by this lousy customer service. They were so eager to sell, but then the customer is ignored. If this is an example of their service, we will think twice about having any annual maintenance. Tim Hostetter should call us and explainUPDATE review: Apparently the miscommunication was due to the salesman who had since left the company and dropped the ball concerning our warranty paperwork and rebate. The owner, Tim phoned us and explained and apologized for this error due to the former employee. He took care of the problem immediately and is sending us a rebate that was promised by the salesman even after the electric company stated that our size system did not qualify. We are very pleased with the communication and professionalism after this experience.
This company is awesome! They were very respectful of our property, detailed and specific in determining the problems with our air conditioner. Tim is very honest, customer service oriented, and knowledgeable about AC/Heating units. They were quick to respond to our need without delay. I will use this company without hesitation over again. I recently replaced a 16-year old Heat Pump. After getting bids from 3 companies, Temperature Pro gave me the best bid, and the most comprehensive explanation of the entire process, and my options. Bill ensured that I purchased the correct size unit, and he also was the only sales person who advised me to ask my home warranty company for a cash buyout - this allowed me to get a payout to help pay for the new system. The entire process was easy and efficient. The technicians did a great job installing my unit. I would definitely recommend Temperature Pro to anyone needing to purchase a new unit.
Im long overdue in writing this review, but wanted to say how amazing Tim and the team at TemperaturePro Austin are. This is the second time Ive worked with them (we have 2 AC units) and both times it seems my older system has decided to konk out at the worst possible time.This time being the summer wedding of our daughter, that was rescheduled to happen at our home due to COVID. Though only both sets of parents and siblings in attendance, having the A/C break on this day made for a problematic situation for preparing for a wedding!Id reached out and asked if we could get on their schedule, assuming it would be the next week at some point that we could get this repaired. Despite it being a weekend, Tim (the owner) himself came over immediately, identified a small leak in our system, and was able to apply a re-charge of our A/C to not only get us through the wedding weekend, but one that is still keeping us cool the rest of the summer.Hed said that at some point, we will probably need to replace that part completely, but he was able to buy us time that may be all we need for a potentially long time. I feel like most companies would have either tried to up-charge us immediately to the most expensive product we could get, but I really appreciate the integrity - and quality of work from TemperaturePro - to help us out on that day and beyond.When the time does come to ultimately have more expensive parts replaced, there is no doubt that I will be calling TemperaturePro to do that work!
Kudos to TemperaturePro! I inherited a Nest thermostat with no instructions on how to use it with the house I bought. I was having problems changing the thermostat from heat to air conditioning and could not get the A/C to activate. I called Temperature-Pro around mid-afternoon and described my problem to the very cordial lady named Jennifer who answered the phone. Within a couple of hours, the owner of the company, Tim, called me back. He was very pleasant and first talked me through several steps over the phone in an attempt to identify and fix the problem. When he determined that the problem required more hands-on assistance, he drove to my house - after hours - to fix the thermostat. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Nest system and soon resolved the problem, which involved a wire that was not functioning properly. He also connected a common wire to make switching from heat to air conditioning and vice versa very simple in the future. Tim was cordial and professional and even gave me a mini tutorial on how the Nest thermostat works. He also gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I have any problems in the future. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from TemperaturePro and will not hesitate to call them again in the future if needed.
We had a great experience from start to finish as we had the team replace one of our really old units that died. Tim was extremely patient and responsive to our numerous questions. And, they had an extremely competitive bid to boot. It’s been several months since they installed our new indoor and outdoor units and furnace and everything is working great!
Installed a new heating/air-conditioning unit which was required to replace a 25 year old antique. Did a great job. Managed the challenges, renovations in a timely manner. Personable (plus cute) young men who worked well as a team. Cleaned up and took away materials. All in all a company who knows their business, knows how to make it as easy as possible on the client. Trustworthy. I highly recommend them to do the job.
Tim and his team did an outstanding job!Tim personally drove to San Antonio on a Friday afternoon to pick up a new AC system and had it installed in my home the next morning. It was up and running by Saturday afternoon. Now that is Superior Customer Service!
Great service. Very responsive. Had a unique a/c outage on a unit 3 stories off the ground and they fixed quickly. Very professional team from the front desk schedulers to the technicians (i.e. Raul). Have had experience with a few other firms in the Austin area but none can deliver like TemperaturePro.

It was late Friday after hours when I called and the dispatcher was able to get a technician to get to me within 30 minutes. He was professional and provided quality work. Adam is the MAN! I cant really write enough good things about the tech that came over and helped me out with my AC. He was quick and professional, helped with a few quick fixes on the AC and got me going stat.The office was also incredibly courteous and kept in contact the whole way though. We had a great experience with this company. There were other bids from reputable companies, but Temp Pros was the best proposal not only in price, but also in execution. Rather than replacing the entire 10 year old system, they proposed to repair a critical part using the existing set up. It was cheaper and faster to make the repair this way. Tim was organized, diligent and competent, as was the rest of his team. The company was straightforward and a pleasure to do business with. Just got into town from Arizona, found the AC not working. When I called and spoke with the office ( believe her name was Danielle) and explained my problem she rerouted tech David and he was at the house within 15 minutes, diagnosed and replaced the defective part within 30 minutes and had cold air blowing. This is excellent service for a first time customer on a Saturday was a very nice surprise. I could not have been treated any better.
We needed a new AC unit, and after receiving three other quotes TemperaturePro gave us a better AC unit at significantly better price than all the others. They were very pleasant to deal with as well, from the estimator right down to the installers, and to the tech who came out to make another unrelated repair to the other furnace unit a few months later.

Highly recommend the TemperaturePro team. Their entire staff is polite, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful through the entire process of getting our AC repaired through our homeshield warranty program. We were kept informed on the timeline of getting in the parts, setting up installation times (and they were even great about working around my schedule and rearranging theirs to do so). When an incorrect part came in from the homeshield warranty program, they were quick to notify me of the issue and to expedite the fix even when the homeshield warranty service messed up. If our AC system ever has issues again, TemperaturePro will be my first call- and my first recommendation to anyone needing a repair to their system! Overall, very pleasant experience!
We had a great experience with Dean and team from TemperaturePro of West Austin. From the first phone call to Dean arriving at our home, everything was first class and very professional. We were ask from the beginning what time worked best for us...which is not the norm for the service industry. Prior to Dean arriving, we received a phone call making sure the time was still good for us. The assessment done on our upstairs air conditioning was done in a timely manner, with a true concern for cost efficiency in regards to our budget. Had them out a month ago for Spring to get my A/C ready for the summer, spent an hour checking out side units then came up to check inside units. Give me a full report of his checks, awesome job, he was very professional.A month later I had my condo inspected for selling my condo, and I called back Temperature Pro about loose duct work and a missing cap. Tim Hostetter the owner had a man out in two days and took care of all my inspection concerns at no charge. Wow !! I highly recommend there service you will not be disappointed!!

Our a/c is 17 years old, and we had been holding out for a new one, hoping we could just push through the summer months and wait until the beginning of 2018 to purchase a new a/c. Well, that didnt happen, and TemperaturePro of West Austin came to our rescue! They are reliable, friendly, punctual and best of all, cheaper than the other two bids we got! From estimate to job completion, TemperaturePro was professional and responsive. I was replacing a 20+ year old inside unit, and a 10+ year old outside unit. I received numerous quotes and Tim, the owner, had the most reasonable quote. During the estimate process, Tim would answer and explain any questions you may have. My installation team was led by Chris and his crew. All 3 of them were courteous and professional. They explained what the job entitled and an estimate of completion time. If you are like me and curious about any part of the job, they will take the time to explain what they are doing. Upon completion of the job, the crew cleaned the mess(even though I told them I do not mind cleaning it). For anyone interested in replacing a hvac system, I would highly recommend TemperaturePro.

I received great and honest service from Chris at Temperature Pro. He was the second A/C repair company to check out my system and correctly diagnosed the problem (broken service value verses a very expensive condenser coil) without trying to up sell me on a completely new system. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I have been fighting issues with our heat pump unit for a year now. We suffered through last winter and decided we couldnt do that again with a newborn in the house.On short notice, I called TemperaturePros at 5pm on a Friday evening. Tim tried to walk me through some Nest settings over the phone, but decided we needed to do it in person. He met me at my house 45 minutes later and proceeded to diagnose our problem. He was unable to permanently fix the problem that night, but he showed us how to force the Nest to use the heat strips in an emergency.Paul came out a few days later, diagnosed our issue as a dead control board and had the part ordered a few days later. David came and replaced it and weve had great heat ever since.My wife and I are grateful for all their help and will be a customer for life. You cant go wrong with TemperaturePros.
Its rare that I take time to write a review but the outstanding experiences weve had with TemperaturePro of West Austin have inspired me to do just that. Twice in one year, the guys at TemperaturePro have literally saved the day for us by delivering last-second, emergency repairs. Most recently we were two hours away from a large graduation party at our home when our main AC unit stopped working. After a frantic phone call from us, the owner, Tim, dropped what he was doing and drove to our home to diagnose the problem because he didnt have a technician available at that moment. Minutes later, Tim diagnose the problem and was off to retrieve the replacement part we needed. 15 minutes before guests began arriving, we had a working AC system! Tim and his team are incredibly sharp, professional and extremely good at what they do. Dont waste time and money with some other typical AC repair company: these guys are the real deal!

I called TemperaturePro mid-morning. They were able to dispatch a technician, David, to my house just before noon. He diagnosed the problem within 25 minutes: weak capacitor and a blown electric motor. He installed the new parts in about an hour, then went up into the crawl space to make sure everything was OK on that end. Friendly, fast, and thorough service. Ill be calling TemperturePro next time the HVAC needs a doctor.

My AC went out on me on Friday night. I made contact on Saturday morning and it was fixed within two hours of that first call. My expectations were that I would wait (at least) til Monday and faint at the cost of fixing it. I have had the most amazing experience with this company. They were fast, efficient and affordable. As a property management company that manages over 100 doors, we have used many HVAC companies. TPW has always given good service with fair prices. They always let us know when they are on the way. We will stick with this company.
When our HVAC stopped cooling one evening it was a warm muggy day and my family was very worried about how we would survive a major repair on our 16 year old unit. TemperaturePro sent Dean out the next morning and within 5 minutes he diagnosed a bad electrical switch (which he carried replacements for on his truck). I was back to work in half an hour. Thanks for the quick response and professional service.
I purchased an old house and assumed when my HVAC quit working it was also old. Tim, the owner, came out and assured me my unit was not old and I did not need a new unit. The heat strip had shorted out the heat. Instead of spending mega bucks, they repaired my heat for $200. He could have sold me a complete unit and, because of his integrity, I will only call TemperaturePro from now on.
We have had TemperaturePro do several services for both of our AC units, from repairs to yearly maintenance. They always do an honest and professional job. They even alerted us to a leak in our water heater that we didnt even know about. Potentially could have been very bad.

Our upstairs A/C quit blowing cold air on Wednesday night. After looking into it myself on Thursday morning, I gave up and decided I needed to call an expert. After looking at recommendations on the Circle C Community Facebook page, I called up TemperaturePro. I was very pleased that they were able to fit us in that afternoon. Chris E was the technician and was very knowledgeable, fixed the problem, and didnt try to upsell us on needing to replace our 13 year old A/C unit at this time. I appreciate their dedication to the customer and glad to know who well be reaching out to in the future for our future A/C needs.
Found them to be honest, timely, & professional. I thought there was a problem & it wasn’t. I had them replace furnace earlier (very affordable) & a month later I thought it should be checked as I thought I had a problem. They came out & checked out everything & made some adjustments that I could have done & had forgotten what he told me. He didn’t even charge me for trip charge, he said he was on his way home anyway. Beside the point, he could have & many would have charged at least a trip charge. They are in my go to list for help with any heating or air conditioner problems.

I used Temperature Pro to install a new AC unit 3 years ago. The unit went down last Saturday and I called Tim on Sunday morning. He came out around lunch on Sunday and had the unit back up and running!

2022-06-10Temperature Pro was our third bid and became our first choice. Tony responded very quickly when I reached out. Someone came to assess our situation and I had an estimate by the next day. They were able to return in a week to replace one of our HVAC units. His team worked efficiently & professionally. Just in time for this severe heat wave! Tony returned to check over the work, to make sure all was well and that we were happy. Took his time - didn’t seem rushed. Great guy, very personable. Seems to enjoy people and his work. I highly recommend!

2022-07-13I’m very excited to have found temperature pro to repair and do maintenance on my a/c. The office staff was very friendly and professional, they even sent a pic of the technician before his arrival. Reid, my technician sealed the deal for me though. He’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He took his time to answer all my questions and explained everything so that I understood. He treated me and my a/c problems with respect and consideration which I really appreciated. In a nutshell, Temp pro has great customer service, quick response, quality staff, fair prices, and they are safety conscious towards their customers. I can’t imagine asking for more!

2022-04-26Temperature Pro was my second bid and Im very happy I chose them. The gentleman who came out and did the quote was Tony Mejia. When I explained to him what we were wanting with more volume to the front of the house, he walked in and immediately could see I needed more air. I appreciate the professional knowledge and competent people working on my home . Not to mention the efficiency of the workers. 2022-05-02We started using their maintenance service two years ago after my wife talked with the owner at a local business get together. Our three systems are 19 years old and need some maintenance. Temp pro was quick to respond (generally same day) and did the repairs well and at a reasonable cost. Last week one unit failed and during inspection a second unit failed. Repair for each was going to be in the $4k range so we opted to replace. They competitively bid and gave a good price on the third. We went with the replace all three. Three days later they installed three systems in one day including building two new plenums. Great service.

2022-02-02A nasty cold front is coming late today and my heating system picked this day to quit. I had them out in October for a maintenance check, so I call them in a panic. (I am 75, live alone). They told me a person will come out between noon and 2 pm. In about an hour after I called, theres a knock at the door and it was a man from Temperature Pro! I barely could believe it. He came in, checked through the system and get the problem fixed in no time. It turned out to be a simple problem, but I certainly wouldnt possibly know what to do by myself. He also did a complete maintenance again, all without charge. I am now a firm believer of Temperature Pro! Thank you!

2022-05-27My 15+ year-old Trane A/C unit died last July. I chose Temperature- Pro to diagnose the issue. Knowing I was on borrowed time with my old unit, I was already anticipating / planning to replace it. The fact that my unit was not repairable made the decision for me. Due to covid, a major A/C manufacturers factory in Texas that was destroyed in the great freeze of 2020 due to a collapsed roof, supplies of new A/C units of all brands were in very short supply and options were fairly limited. Delivery for out- of-stock units had longer than normal lead times. I knew I wanted a Trane variable speed unit to replace my old Trane unit. Temperature-Pro did not have any units on-hand and there were none in Austin to be had. The Temperature-pro team searched the supply in Texas and were able to find a Trane unit in San Antonio. Tim or someone from his team drove to San Antonio and brought the unit back to Austin. It took ~a week to get the unit but my wait would have been significantly longer had we had to order it from somewhere else. Temperature- Pros effort to locate the unit and drive to San Antonio shaved time off that my family and I would have to wait and suffer in the July heat. I had no A/C in my home and of course, it was sweltering (around 100 degrees). The Temperature-Pro sales person provided a portable A/C unit for us to use while we waited for the new unit to arrive. It was a welcome offering that the Temperature- Pro team made to us and was much appreciated. Tim Hostetter, the owner of the business also personally came to my home to evaluate and analyze my home to determine that we made the appropriate choice of unit. His analysis included evaluation of the placement and settings for registers, return air flows etc. During his evaluation, I mentioned that our previous unit was not cooling our upstairs as well as we would like. Tim determined that we would see improvement with a return air vent in that room. Unfortunately, installing a return air vent was not feasible due to the configuration of the attic space. After making this determination, I informed Tim that I was planning on replacing my roof in the very near future. I asked if while we had the roof off, would it be possible to install the return air vent. He said it could definitely be done and that his team would come back to do it for a very reasonable charge. As it turned out, I had to wait around a year to replace the roof. True to his word, Tim dispatched his team and adjusted their busy schedule to coordinate with my roofing contractor to install the return air vent while the singles and decking were off of the roof. They were right on time and did a great job installing the return air vent. Tim also took the time to personally tweak the registers, the settings on the A/C and furnace to optimize the units output and efficiency. He charged me the exact amount (VERY REASONABLE) he originally committed to and I know that installing that return air system was not a huge money-making venture for him and his team compared to installing another new unit or doing a repair. Kudos to Tim and his team. Tim and his entire team have behaved and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Commitments made were kept and communication was good. One final anecdote to pass along. The City of Austin provides a $350 rebate for installing an energy efficient HVAC. The sales person that handled my purchase / installation was responsible to file the rebate and have the check issued directly to me. The sales person unexpectedly left the company and had failed to file the rebate documentation. I had forgotten about the rebate but remembered and called Temperature-Pro to follow up more than 6 months later. Tims team discovered the now-departed sales person had not filed the documents and it was too late to file. Without being asked, Temperature-Pro immediately wrote me a check for the rebate and mailed it to me. In summary, I highly recommend Temperature -Pros. They are honest and worthy of my repeat business.
