Full disclosure; Garrett (the owner) is a good friend of mine. However, I decided to put him to the test one day. I have a 2011 Ernie Ball Music Man JPXI guitar that is my pride and joy. I took my brand new 2021 BMW M235i in for Ceramic Coating. Garrett noticed a few things that needed to be corrected prior to applying the coating, which I greatly appreciated! Garrett is simply the best, there is no other way to put it. His attention to detail and level of quality will surpass anyone’s expectations. He coated my 2019 VW Atlas and it’s simply amazing how much paint correction it needed even though it was new off the lot. I didn’t know how much micro swirl scratches really effect the finish and now I do. Now my car will shine like that for years to come. Preserve your automotive investments and get them coated!!!
Garrett did a great job cleaning and applying ceramic coating to my Jaguar F Type R. I will likely have future fun rides also done here. You can instantly see the quality of the coating. No more fine swirls - it looks better than new.

Had a paint correction preformed on this 33 yr old classic, brought this paint job back to life! Completely satisfied with the outcome.. all in all you get what you pay for.
Wow! This is one word I can use to describe my experience with Garrett at Texas Auto Curators. I just recently went into his shop to have my black Lexus sedan ceramic coated. Garrett educated me on the advantages to getting a ceramic coating. He told me about the water beading properties and how it is easier to clean, and also my ceramic package included a protection from light abrasions such as swirls from bad washing habits. No more need to worry about those when washing! I also had my interior coated as well to preserve it from any stains. My car was completed quickly and effectively, and I feel like he didnt try to up-charge and wanted what was best for me and my car. I was impressed and look forward to future business with this company.

Texas Auto Curators provided the upmost care for me as a customer! I met with the owner personally and he walked me through the process and care that would go into my truck. He explained in detail as to what he would be treating in my vehicle, how the process would help my vehicles interior and exterior for many years to come, and most of all provided the greatest customer service. Upon receiving the vehicle, I was truly amazed of how the paint (which had been fading and losing its color) had look liked it just rolled off the showroom floor, and the same goes for the interior. I wish I could give more stores on my experience and would highly recommend this his business to anyone searching for a professional auto detailer, or who even worried about their vehicle in someone else’s care.
Family has had two cars done with TAC, no one compares in the greater San Antonio area. Garretts passion for detail and cars is unmatched and is shown vividly through the quality of his work. Looking forward to the next coatings on my personal vehicle as well as my wifes.

Id been talking to Garrett for awhile about getting my kia stingers horrible paint done but i need to fix a spot on the bumper before hand, he even gave me the name of a shop that does great body work in the area that he is familiar with to get it done. soo in the mean time i brought my wifes 2020 subaru outback in for ceramic coating and tint. And let me tell you its a night and day difference. he is so meticulous and detailed about his work and it really shows in the final product and he keeps you updated every step of the way. There are people or places that will say that you can just buy the same solutions online or elsewhere for way less; and while you can buy them, they dont come to near the quality as this place provides. The process takes a bit of time, but the end and residual results are second to none. 2022-02-06Upon a recommendation I stopped by to meet Garrett of Texas Auto Curators. He took his time to explain to me the process and products he uses for protecting a car’s finish and making it look like new. After he answered my questions I decided to leave my classic car with him for paint correction and ceramic coating. Garrett kept me informed during the entire process with pictures, texts and phone calls. While Garrett had my car it was evident that he has a genuine passion for the work he does. In the end I was simply amazed by the results Garrett was able to achieve on my vehicle’s black paint. This was my first time using Texas Auto Curators, but it won’t be the last!

2022-01-20Exceptional in every aspect. Garrett was a pleasure to work with and his work is second to none. We had Garrett install paint protection on two vehicles and the work is flawless and looks great. Garrett is a perfectionist (as am I) and his work reflects an impressive attention to detail that will please the most demanding of customers. I suspect you can save a few bucks by going elsewhere, but if you are looking for unparalleled perfection this is the place to bring your prized possessions. We’ll be going back soon for tinted windows and it’s nice knowing we have found a place to bring our vehicles for all our detailing needs.

You can tell they have an extreme passion for what they do, truly care for each vehicle they do and make sure it’s done right throughout the entire process. Was kept very informed while my vehicle was getting done. Would 10/10 recommend anyone in need of these services to go to Texas Auto Curators. They are definitely are the most expensive option around but the proof is in the result and experience. You will never be disappointed using Texas Auto Curators.

2021-09-07Garrett is awesome! He helped us with so much more than just the cleaning and protecting of our cars!We had the temporary coating done on our M540i and M5 Comp as we had never tried any of these types of coatings previously. The results are unbelievable! The cars shine so much and look great! We like it so much we scheduled our 2002 911 Targa for full detailing inside and out, the 5 year ceramic coating, and the protective film for the front. We can’t wait to see how that turns out!We couldn’t recommend Garret and Texas Auto Curators any more. They are THE best in Hill Country!!!

2021-06-25Garrett with Texas Auto Curators was a dream to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive and pays attention to every detail of your vehicle. More importantly he’s honest! He goes through all of the options for ceramic coating, walks you through the process and keeps you updated on progress. He was even able to arrange door ding pulling so not to delay vehicle coating. An important note about this business is that they do much more than just ceramic coating and can take care of/arrange many other of your needs! Great local find! Highly recommend!

2021-04-27Texas Auto Curators performed a paint correction and subsequent ceramic coating on a vehicle I own, amongst other things. Prior to choosing services Garret personally walked me through all the pros and cons of each and gave detailed explanations of the science behind each. I will say this about Garret, he loves cars and is extremely well educated on all of the services he provides. This is certainly not a discount outfit, he does a fantastic job and takes great care for the vehicles he works on. They do not price gouge but if you’ve ever had a bad experience with a shop like this, and have a vehicle you care about, you don’t want the absolute cheapest option. At first, I was very skeptical about ceramic coatings but the second you talk to Garret and do your own due diligence, you’ll see that it takes a very skilled and meticulous hand to apply them. I will never take my car to anyone but this certified local ceramic installer. While the ceramic coating was being applied to the vehicle Garret kept me updated and even allowed me to make changes along the way. I cannot say enough about this guy! For anyone that has a car/truck and wants a local San Antonio small business to apply a ceramic coating, hire Texas Auto Curators.

2021-03-09I took my Honda Civic to Texas Auto Curators for a paint correction and ceramic coating. Garrett kept me updated throughout the whole process sending me pictures every day. We had a little bit of rain as the last layer went on, so Garrett kept my car in the shop a couple more days to make sure the coating stayed on and lasted like it was supposed to. Got my car back and the paint looks better than new! It’s mirror smooth and super shiny. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a quality product but on their vehicle by a quality shop!

2021-03-04I was recommended by a friend that takes all of his personal vehicles to Texas auto curators and let me tell you, these guys take auto detailing to another whole level!! They have endless selections on what you can do to your vehicle! I went in to take my 2020 Mercedes AMG GT63 for a ceramic coating and full detail and Garret was extraordinary very professional and he defiantly loves what he does and has a great spirit of excellence and awesome customer service. For everyone that wants to convert there vehicle to a brand new showroom condition I highly recommend Texas auto curators.
