“Wow!” In a good way ;) 2/10/2021Someone recommended that I try cashew nut delight ($11.95, a good value for the portion size you receive) on the menu, and the sauce for this stirfry meal was absolutely delicious! I usually stick to what I like, and I carefully read the descriptions of each item on the menu before I make a selection. The meal was customizable, as I am not a big fan of baby corn or mushrooms and did not wish to include these ingredients. I also decided to try a cup of soup (cost was $5.95, a little on the pricey side for the portion, but worth it to me!) since it was exceptionally cold 🥶 outside today, and so I tried the chicken rice soup. The ingredients are chicken, white rice, fried garlic, cilantro, and fresh green scallions, very good!
Cannot share the review on the quality of food. Only can speak to the service, which was basically horrible, twice. They close at 9. First time, we reached around 8:40 pm. The lady at the counter was eating rice with fingers dipped inside the rice. Gross to see. We were offered to do to go instead of dine in. Was praying the whole time that lady does not touch my order.Still decided to try the 2nd time. This time, reached around 8:10 ish. We kept on waiting for 10 minutes and then were told it is better if we either take out or come back later. Not ever going back there.
I ordered Panang Curry, Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. My choice of meat was chicken and had the option of adding more vegetables, which I did. The spicy level I chose was a 1 and was just right! Every dish was fresh and delicious and full of flavor. I also ordered wonton soup, my favorite soup. They include vegetables in their recipe and it is the best wonton soup Ive ever eaten. The food is consistently good and never disappoints!
1st visit to Thai Thip from a friends recommendation. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and services offered by the staff. I had Pad Thai with Chicken and it was delicious. Will definitely return!Made a return visit to Thai Thip with family and friends for Fathers Day lunch. Food was delicious as always. Began with chicken eggrolls and vegetable spring rolls. Both fresh and tasty. I had pineapple fried rice with chicken, with a spice level of 4/5. I will definitely try this dish again on a future visit. Others in our party ordered red curry with chicken, yellow curry with chicken, and then beef with broccoli.
This has been by far the worst tasting Thai food I’ve ever had! The Massaman curry looks and tastes like it came straight out of the can where you get them at the Oriental Store! The Pad See Ew was flavorless and the restaurant was too small for anyone to eat in! Most of the lights were off with heavy tinted windows! I would not recommend coming here.
Ordered satay chicken and green curry. Satay chicken marinade was good but overall chicken was on the dry side. Green curry looked pretty good. Curry was nice, vegetables were fresh. But again thin sliced chicken was dry and did not have any taste of itself. Service was good.
Having lived and traveled in Thailand, I felt Thai Thip is more catered towards the western clientele rather than serving authentic Thai food which I am a big fan of. Although we ordered higher spice level, the food was rather bland and non spicy and didnt feel it was anywhere near how authentic Thai food looks and tastes. When I asked the lady for some chopped chili in fish sauce (which is essential in Thai cuisine), I was told they dont have any sauce to offer, not even chili sauce. Will not be visiting there anytime soon. Anyone knows an authentic Thai restaurant nearby?
They need to add more stars for this place!HANDS DOWN THIS IS A TRUE THAI PLACEI am astonished of how good the food is here, this is one of the best stops I stopped at in Dallas, this place had it all perfect! No comments ... i am speechless of how good the food was here
I was referred to this restaurant and specifically the Khao Soi curry soup by a discerning foodie. Solid advice. This bowl of spicy delight arrived piping hot and large enough to feed a family of fourteen. I passed on the ground chicken in favor of the ground pork which was cooked perfectly with zero gristle or fat. The red curry broth had just the right zing and the variety of veggies kept the dish interesting til the last drop.Staff was quite lovely as was the weather which allowed me to dine on the small front patio. Thai Thip is nestled in a neat little shopping center that feels more like a small town square than a block of concrete in the Mid-Cities. Good vibes, good folks, killer soup. Go getcha some!EDIT:I returned the next day to give the Green Curry lunch special a try. I opted for tofu as my protein and substituted brown rice for the standard white. Another fantastic meal and at $8.95 a decent value (especially considering the complimentary cup of soup).
I just need to start off by saying, if you haven’t eaten hear, you’re missing out. You either have friends that are too selfish to share this spot or your friends are lacking too. Well I’m here to tell you, as a friend, you NEED to eat here! I love this place so much. I was first brought here on a date and not only do I love that person (but I love them a little more that they showed me this spot), but I love the food the best! The curry puff’s are one of my favorite appetizers; I crave them daily (ask anyone I talk to, because you best believe I’m telling them they need to eat at Thai Tip!). I’ve tried nearly all the curry’s and man, they are delicious. I just want to thank Thai Tip for having outstanding food and service. Thank you! Thank you for your food! I can’t eat enough! Thanks 😊
First time at this place and I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai.I like the way it was seasoned and that extra sauce and spice on the side made my dish extra tasty. I’ve eaten at quite a few places back home in Michigan and a few here in DFW. Thai Thip will definitely be in my top 5 places for Thai cuisine.
Food was very fresh and tasty. We all ordered something different and agree that each dish was great. Nice sized portions for the price - had to get to go boxes. We are not normally up on this side of town but are definitely talking about coming back. Well worth the drive. We eat out a lot and like to try new places. If you’re in the mood for food Thai - this is the place to go.
The food at Thai Thip has always been good but customers should not be turned away or forced to order to-go when they arrive to a half empty restaurant 40 minutes before the posted closing time on a Friday night. I recommend this restaurant change their closing time rather than turning away customers so far from the posted time (both on google and their door).
This restaurant is under new ownership but retains the same excellent food. There is no longer manager and waitress waging war in the kitchen and in the dining room. Tonight was the first time I have been back in 3 or 4 years because I did not want to put up with that emotional hassle anymore. I love the food I just couldnt stand the staff. There seems to be very nice people running the restaurant now and the food is still as good as I remember. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant if you like Thai food because it is a cut above.
Great food and service with good price point! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to those eating in restaurant and wait times for pick up orders tend to be 20-30 minutes. We usually order Panang Curry and Pad Thai and have yet to be disappointed.Bonus for those eating it restaurant, it is BYOB, with glasses and corkscrew provided by the restaurant. The restaurant does get very busy for dinner service, so I recommend planning for dinner outside normal hours (before 5:30 or after 7:30).
Finished an event nearby famished for some good food on a budget but not fast food.Found this place super close to the Hurst convention center. Is in a shared complex of other old fashioned small businesses. This place was packed and yet we were seated, orders takes, served water, and served our meals in minutes despite being packed to capacity.Phenomenal customer service. The food was perfect at an affordable price for large food portions. Totally worth it and will definitely try to come back to this place! They serve so much variety and even have bubble tea with Tapioca! Totally rocks!Cleaned, well maintaimed, restrooms was clean and well maintained, just beware parking for this place is small and limited.Totally worth the visit !
Food is great. I typically get the basil fried rice. Spicy level here is a little higher than other places in the area so take that into account. I usually get a 4 or 5 out of 5 on the spicy level at other places but a 3 here.Service is also wonderful. Very attentive without being overbearing.
Honestly, I cant think of any issues weve had. The staff is amazing, Andre treats you like if his own. Except that you have to pay for the food. The Thai tea is amazing, and my favorite is duck curry. Ive not had anything bad on the menu, Im sure there will be things, but only because of me, not their preparation. They are very respectful of the ingredients in play.
Our experience at this restaurant was top shelf! Upon entering the establishment we were warmly greeted by the staff. They are very friendly and sincere. They staff is also very grateful for your patronage. It is nice to go to a restaurant and feel like they want you there, which Thai Thip definitely does! We ordered the Spring Rolls and a cream cheese appetizer. While I am not a big fan of cream cheese, i found that appetizer was good, and mt GF definitely loved them. We both enjoyed the Spring Rolls and the Thai peanut sauce it comes with immensely. We each ordered an entree and they were both hot (temp), fresh and amazing! When they took our order they explained certain things about each dish. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and willing to share their thoughts on any/every item. Overall this was just a fantastic experience. On every front, the staff exceeded our expectations (Greeting/friendly/clean facilities/great food/nice atmosphere). And oh, you have to watch their pet fish chase each other around the tank, it is very entertaining. If you like Asian/Thai food, you have to check this place out! We plan to go back at least once per every two weeks to get our fix.
Updated Dec 13, 2019 1 Star:Not sure what happen to this place but I wont be back. Asked for mild, food was so hot I couldnt eat it. They left my soup out. Didnt put the peanut sauce in I asked for and wanted a 18% tip for Togo... When I tried to call twice, no answer... Ill drive further to sweet basil or somewhere else. Frustrated...8 years ago ORG Review 5 stars: This is by far the best Thai food in Dallas. Not only do they serve high-quality food but their service is like fine dinning. The place is extremely clean and they use only the best fresh ingredients.I highly recommend it, and call and make a reservation to or you might have a long wait. Its a very popular place!!
This place is amazing. First I want to say that the manager, Andre, is very personable and greets you as if you were his own family; hes a real nice guy. Secondly, I want to say that the food here is wonderful! My friend invited me to their Taste of Thai event that they have the second Saturday of every month. You get so full and try all of these wonderful dishes! And its all a good deal! Try Thai Thip, youll like it!
Ive been here a few times with a very special friend and weve never had a bad experience. The food is delicious, the environment is cozy and relaxing, and the service is great! Ive had the yellow curry and chicken fried rice. Both entrees were delicious and Id recommend this place if you want a place to catch up with good friends. :)
Cute, quiet little Thai restaurant tucked in the middle of a shopping center. True, the atmosphere is a little weak, but the friendly service and delicious food more than make up for a boring setting! Great spot if you want a tasty, healthy and FAST sit down meal. If all of those reasons arent enough, how about getting a great lunch for under $10? Not too shabby! I will go back and dine again anytime Im in the area!
Ive been eating at this little place for years. The food dishes are excellent and deserve 4 stars, however the decor and location could be better. Its nestled in a small strip plaza in uneventful suburbia. Nothing fancy, but the food keeps me coming back. I normally order Mamas Special with the meat combo. The whole fried Snapper with Tai Chiii sauce is a Blessing to ones palate as well. Check it out. I recommend it.
I decided to try this place out because of the reviews and so glad I did. I ordered take out and my food was ready fast and the manger/owner gave the best welcome and shook my hand and introduced himself! The food so good! Im excited to go back and be able to sit down and eat there. Love the cozy atmosphere and service and the food is awesome!
Stopped in today for lunch. Wow. The massaman curry was amazing. I ordered it with chicken and a side of sticky rice to sop everything up with. My friend ordered the Pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. We split an order of cream cheese rangoons and they were delicious. Chicken spring rolls are awesome too. Service was prompt, courteous and thoughtful as well. I love this place and will be back!
What a great family restaurant! My only complaint is that I didnt find it sooner. We have gone about a half dozen times in the past two months and each time the service has been great and the food even better. My favorites include the hot Pad Thai and the orange chicken. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.
This is the best Thai restaurant we have found in the area. The place is clean, owners and servers very welcoming and friendly and the food is fresh, affordable and oh so good! The curry dishes are my favorite or try the sea bass dish that is off the menu. Amazing! I also love the fried bananas with coconut ice cream.
This place was really tasty. I went for lunch with a friend, who ordered Pad Woon Sen and enjoyed it. I stuck with Pad Thai, my favorite, and got level 3 spicy, which was just spicy enough for me. If you like spicy but not too spicy, maybe get a level 2 - level 3 was a bit much after eating half of it. 😂 I was worried the lunch portions would be too small, but they were enough for us to eat and have leftovers. The two of us ate for about $20, which included a nice little bowl of soup while we decided what to order. Id eat here again. 🙂
Ive heard great things about this place, and when I finally went today I was not disappointed. I had the Tom kha (coconut vegetable soup) and the panag curry with tofu and vegetables. Both were excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the spices were perfect, and the service was very friendly. I will definitely be back soon and often.

So I just walked in my dominos uniform because I was taking a class and they were very welcoming and they started little conversations with me and it was nice and refreshing. The food smells and tastes very delicious. My waitress was very nice and sweet and I hope to come back another day. Even with it being so far from where I am. (I love these dumplings)♡
The food is DELICIOUS!! I ordered for delivery and the service was fabulous and faster then pizza delivery. The delivery gentlemen was nice and professional. Food arrived hot and that is a major plus. Mouth-watering thai food is the best way to go especially from this place stop ordering the same boring food you guys/gals and try this restaurant its amazing!! Thank you everyone at Thai Thip Restaurant for their hard work with all the amazing food you cook!
Love this place. And they deliver. I havent tried anything I dont like. My kids love the fried rice. Tom Yum here is my favorite from any place, and trust me Ive tried Tom Yum a lot of places. Ive tried most of the menu here. Havent had anything I dont like. This is a great place, great service. And if you live close enough they will deliver.
We used to order a lot, but lately the food has gone downhill and the service sucks. They already charge a lot for the food, and it was worth it when it was good. Now its not and it took 96 minutes, over a hour and a half, to get our food. We called to ask what was going on and pretty much got nothing but, OK, sorry, itll be there soon. We wont order from there anymore. Why pay money like that for service I can get from anywhere?
A great little restaurant where they bend over backwards to make your dish exactly how you order it, even if its slightly off menu. We arrived shortly after opening and the place was empty. However within 30 mins there was only one table open. Its a smaller place, so arrive early if youre planning on hitting it during busy times.
I thought it was a very nice place to eat. Enjoyed to free soup that came with each meal. However, a co-worker who had eaten there a while back said it wasnt s good as it used to be. The only problem I had was that many people who had come in and ordered long after we had received their food, ate and were getting ready to leave before some of us at the table even received our food.
1st time here. A nice little quite place, good atmosphere, with fair prices. We tried a little of everything and loved it.Started with the cream cheese and crab (what they called a crab rangoon) a couple of waters and a thai tea. Someone had mentioned the thai tea wasnt that great but I disagree it was great. We tried the pineapple fried rice with chicken. It was so good and the chicken was tender and moist the pineapple and raisnes were sweet and tangy. We also got the beef pad thai and the cashew nut delight with pork. Both the pad thai and the chase dish were pretty great! I got the pad thai with a 4 out of 5 spice level it was nice. Gives you that slightly runny nose but great flavour and lime tang.Highly recommended!
I am just finishing a meal with friends at this little hole-in-the-wall resturaunt. The atmosphere was great and their food was excellent. The portions were surprisingly large and very affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time with good eats.
We have been customers for a few years, love the food, but this last visit is the last visit. We are SEVERELY disappointed in the repeated poor customer service. We always take our food to go and the food never disappoints, BUT today they only bagged our dinner (3 separate meals) in one thin plastic bag. Our 12 year old picked up the bag out of the car and it immediately broke through, spilling 2 of 3 full meals completely out. When we called and explained the situation, there was no apology (it wasn’t 100% their fault we know, but the bag was clearly overpacked) or discounted offer. In my opinion, this is very poor customer service. It’s never been spot on, but this was the last straw for us. If you know of any other Thai restaurants in the area, leave me a comment. We are in search of a new one. EDIT*** Just received our final order and THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER AND BLAMED MY HUSBAND.
Thai Thip is one of the best restaurants in the Bedford area. I have only ever picked up take out, so I cant comment on the service. The restaurant is usually full or nearly full when I go, so I assume it is good. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The spiciness rating is 1 through 5, and I usually order 3 for medium heat. The massaman curry and orange chicken are my favorites so far, and the thai fried rice is also good.
This place has really great pad woon sen which is this savory glass noodle dish with chicken and fresh veggies! I also get their lad na, which has a great medley of seafood (calamari, shrimp, imitation crab, fish meatball, mussels) with a rich soy-based gravy and steamer vegetables. Every time Im in Hurst I have to go there!
I love this place. Whether you want something mild and non-threatening or something blazing hot and totally authentic, this place has it.The people that work here are great too. Theyre funny and friendly and work really hard to make you feel welcome. Its a family run place, and their love for the restaurant shines through in their service.
Thai Thip is my new favorite Thai restaurant here locally and it is conveniently located near 183 so it is easily accessible by anyone in the area.I ordered the Chicken Massaman and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was on point and the amount of food, including the chicken, was satisfying.Additionally, the staff was amazing. Andre, the General Manager, made a point of coming to my table to introduce himself and also thank me for coming in. I also met Chef Thay who was my waiter that evening. If you enjoy Thai food I would highly recommend Thai Thip and I will be going back again and again to try other dishes.Oh and they also have plenty of Vegetarian and Vegan dishes if that is your preference.
Best curry I ever had my number one favorite place to eat ever even more than american food my wife is from laos and she makes thai food all the time and even she says the pad thai here and other food is great I love the ladies and man who works here good hard working people will keep going here tell further notice😁!
My office orders from here at least twice per week and it is always delicious. I would give it the 5th star if they were consistent with the heat level. We all order heat level 2 but sometimes its a 5 (whew!) and sometimes its a zero - but still tasty! Egg rolls are awesome but too expensive, the other prices are VERY fair with huge portions.
Excellent food and Awesome people! I highly recommend. We am started off with the fried wontons. My wife had the beef massaman curry, I had the beef pad sew ew, and my grandmother the shrimp fried rice. All ingredients seemed very fresh and every dish was amazing. Spicy is rated from 1-5, 2 was pretty spicy, but perfect.
Thai Thip is an amazing little gem tucked away in Hurst. They are a family owned restaurant and treat you like you are a part of it. They have fantastic food at incredibly affordable prices. The owner is always warm and welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that anyone from newbies to experienced Thai foodies are right at home. I could not recommend Thai Thip enough! Make sure to try the Pad Kra Pow it is out of this world!
I used to come here a lot when I lived in Hurst. I was at a training for work, and took my principal and a few coworkers over here. Everything was delicious, and the three people I took enjoyed it. It was the first time for two of them to try Thai food. I wish that I lived closer.
Have dined in before and waa good. Today I got pad Thai to go and it was terrible. Way too sweet, soggy bean sprouts, broccoli (asked for instead of meat) tasted old like it had been frozen and green onions were long and too chewy to eat. Very disappointing. Should have gone to Thai jasmine
I recently moved to DFW but grew up in Seattle where great Thai food is plentiful. Thai Tip tastes like home, but the service is also incredible. When we go we typically order the Massaman Curry, Pad Thai, and Large egg rolls. It is fabulous!! Its torture smelling our takeout for the 5 minute drive home because it smells and tastes amazing!!Thai Tip has incredible customer service. Andre always makes me feel like a friend, and ALWAYS thanks us for our business. What business does that?I rarely write reviews, but Thai Tip works hard for their business, and they deserved my 5 star rating.I wont try another Thai place in DFW because it cant beat the price, the service, and the taste of Thai Tip.
Went today for lunch with co-workers. had the panang curry lunch special. wow, didnt expect to find such good Thai food in the DFW area. fresh, and i mean fresh vegetables and the curry was excellent. had the 4 star heat which was just right for me.i definitely will be back.
I`m always happy to eat at Thai Tip! Been there so many times already and alway had a good experiance .Food is great and the service is fast and furious. I especially like the hot spicy entrees, yet every now and then I enjoy a peanut recipe. ...and the price is not bad.The manager is cool as well. no fortune cookies there, but they speek good english ;-)so splash out, spoil yourself, it`s muy bueno.
Its Ok! Wasnt really that great as reviewed by many others who gave a 5star. Honestly, I would give this a 2.5. I tried four dishes and Flavor is not that great, mushrooms are soggy, clearly canned ones. I have had better food at other Thai places in Arlington and Fort Worth.
UPDATE: Finally got through to someone at 7:45pm and placed my order. Food got delivered at 8:10pm and it is amazing as usual, so I upgraded my rating by a couple of stars. They need to make that place bigger..there is too much demand.FIRST POST: Called at 6:35pm on a Tuesday night and the person on the phone told me they were busy and actually asked me to call back in 10 minutes..I couldnt believe it, but I was polite and obliged. 10 minutes later I started dialing, but between busy signal and no one picking up, it took me another 10 minutes to get through. At 6:55 someone answered (different person). Again I was polite and did not mention my previous conversation. I told them I would like to place an order for delivery. They said they are very busy and that it would take one hour. I said that is fine. I gave my address and phone number and placed the order. However, before I could provide payment information, the person hung up. I tried calling back from my wifes number, in case they were trying to call me back on the number I provided. I kept dialing over and over again for 25 minutes (probably dialed close to 100 times). The phone just rang and rang..if someone was answering the phones I would have gotten through in that time frame. At the very least I would have expected the person to call me back if they hung up by accident. I like the food here, but this is a very disappointing experience.
I use to work and eat here. I have eaten at other Thai restaurants across the metroplex...including some in Canada, and by far this is the best Thai restaurant to get your taste of Thai. Plates come full and decorative. The curry is made with just the right amount of spice. The food is delicious, but asking for seconds is rare because one plate will fill you up good. The Thai tea is the absolute best and is a must try!Word of Advice for those on a time crunch!!!If you are in hurry for lunch, I advise calling ahead at least about 5 or 10 minutes before arrival to verify how busy the restaurant is. When its busy, it can take sooooome time to get the orders out. Plan accordingly. ;-)
Andre the manager has become a friend. Ive been a customer from the moment they opened. This restraunt has gone through many changes over the years. The newest thing that has happened is ANDRE!! Let me say he is so passionate about quality of food ,as well as LISTENING to his customers.Everyone feels like family here due to his wonderful staff. The food has just gotten BETTER! He shops for fresh food ALL the time. YUM!My favorites, the soup. Then yellow curry ,EXTRA potatoe please.:-)Ive experienced many other dishes however the BEST part ,Ive NEVER had a bad dish. Please go experience this food ,its fablous!!Go and visit his buffet to try all the dishes ,you will be happy u did.And Andre will end up your friend as well.So lets give a shout out for Andre. Thanks guy you make eating there a JOY!Ive made myself hungry now, I think Ill have Thai for lunch :-) .
Weve lived around the corner from this restaurant for YEARS and had never tried it. Went on a whim one Saturday when they offered the buffet and the food was INCREDIBLE. The manager was out in the restaurant that night and was very friendly, talked to us extensively, and answered all questions we had about the food. I HIGHLY reccomend this restaurant. We will be back!
Busy signal about 5x before my call went through. Shrimp over cooked and/or stale. The texture was harder than normal and tough. Also, green bean overload! I had the Pad Phri Kin (unsure about spelling). But I was annoyed by how jam packed my entrée was with green beans... The sauce was delicious though. Very wonderful taste. 2 stars. Im a thai food lover - I will say this is the best thai food Ive had since living in TX. The other meats probably taste much better. Im a pescatarian, so I wont be finding out. Ill probably give them another chance and update if my next order comes out better.
Quick backgroundOriginal owner sold to nephew this summer. Nephew is hard-driven and motivated to make this the best Thai restaurant in the area and hes gaining momentum. Hes smart, friendly and will bend over backwards to listen to his customers and ensure that they have a great experience. Also be sure to Yelp - checkIn for a free desert!
Now I know thai food. From the east coast to seattle to texas. Ive spent time in thailand in both Bangkok and korat. This multi generation family owned is easily the best 20 30 miles around. All thai and laos in the kitchen, they know the food.Price point is cheaper than others of similar quality. Better than thai select or spice or thai basil. Andre the owner is friendly and knows his customers as friends. His attention to his customers taste shows as its not uncommon for them to let Andre order for them.I judge thai food on time of food prep, variety and will quality of the 3 major sauces used in most all dishes. They turn out food in correct time, but not so fast that implies a microwave as they use true fire heated woks (a secret to making noodle dishes taste right).Their variety is great!Soups? Both thai and laos stylesTom kha is just right.Curries? All of the major ones. Savory, sweet, spicy! Massaman, yellow, red, green and others!Noodle are the most important, pad see ew best Thai street dish and the ever popular pad thai. All in all. You cant miss out of this little gem in hurst tx.

2022-05-08Got the Pad Thai chicken spice level 2. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was casual nothing fancy (which is perfectly fine with me). Food came out in 5-8 minutes. Super hot, extremely flavorful, and lots of texture.I will definitely be back. Enjoyable little place.

2022-03-22Never judge a book by its cover! I reluctantly entered this restaurant, as was told it was very good. And indeed the food is exceptional, so is the service! The owner comes to the table with his tablet and a big smile to get your order. Not long after, amazing tastes appear on the table, we started with a Tom Kha, very delicious, followed by a Pad Thai with shrimps - wow! - and a yellow curry. Pad Thai is my Thai test dish, to test if I like the Thai restaurant, and this far exceeded my expectations. The place doesn’t look too welcoming, hence my opening comment, from the outside appearance to the interiors. All a bit cold, including the blasting air conditioning, while there were 40 degrees Fahrenheit outside. And so much styrofoam and plastic straws :(

2022-03-07We absolutely love Thai Thip! It’s BYOB which makes it even better. The spring rolls are always so fresh and the steamed dumplings have a great flavor. We love the pad thai, panang curry with salmon, asparagus delight with salmon, and pad kee mao.

2022-06-18We had dinner here tonight and it was really good. My husband had the Tom yum soup and it was so fresh and served hot. I’m going back next week to have it again. It was that good. For entrees, I had the green curry, level 2, with chicken, and my Husband had the asparagus vegetable entree, no meat. Both dishes were delicious, served hot and fresh tasting. We were craving a big mix of fresh vegetables and we got what we wanted. We brought a bottle of wine, no problem, got glasses and ice water right away. This is a nice, no frills place to enjoy excellent Thai food

2022-01-21We met a couple friends for dinner here; it’s absolutely their favorite Thai place! The service was great, friendly and prompt. The food was tasty (we recommend any seafood combo here), though it wasn’t too spicy…not Thai level. We will definitely return. If you go for dinner, feel free to bring a bottle of wine with you.

2022-04-03This place is a hidden gem in the mid-cities. Great flavor and presentation. We had the cashew chicken and the pad Thai.

2022-07-16We’ve been coming here for a while, almost weekly. The workers know me and my usual order, I’m a creature of habit. They are very efficient. I’ve never had a complaint. Food is great quality and always hot. I get the yellow curry pork and my boyfriend gets the tom kha. He says it’s really good, has to be it’s his go to. The pad Thai is really great too. Everything is pretty filling. We tried the fried bananas. Wish there was more it was amazing. If you go during lunch you get a soup! We also always get the spring rolls. Best rolls I’ve had so far. Most are small or fried. I like the rice paper unfried.

2022-07-02Very satisfactory thai food. Tried Egg rolls, Basil Fried Rice, Cashew curry. All were good. Service was fast. Its not a big place and the interior looks a bit old . Restrooms were clean. Gratuity of 18% is mentioned to be added for a party of 4 plus which i feel is expensive compared to other places. For the gratuity and for an average maintenance, cutting 1 star. The place is open thru out the afternoon till evening ( many places close by 3 and reopen by 5). so if anyone looking for a late lunch or early dinner this place will do. Overall, liked the food and will try again if happened to be around the area.
