A place to truly hit your full potential or even exceed that! The owner is always doing rounds and never fails to say hi to me and check up on everyone, literally everyone! Staff is always helpful and nice. The Castle Metroflex is all around an amazing gym and more! I also appreciate the fact that it is a Veteran Friendly Gym! Forever thankful for this Gym!

They ensured all serviced areas were clean upon completion. They found an issue with one vent, pointed out the problem, then fixed it.
Hands down the best gym in the DFW area. I started going here to set new goals and achievements. Not has that happen here. I also have created a lifetime of friendships and family here. You have plenty of motivation here. Also no one will ever judge you for what you look like. Or your level of training. Everyone will be more than willing to assist you. The owners are by far the most hands on owners I’ve ever met to serve a gym. They know customer service and will treat you like their own family. I love going here and wouldn’t change a single thing.
Just joined and I love it already. Very clean. Well worth the membership. Staff is very nice. The Hydro Massage the most amazing feature compensates for not having a sauna!!! Im a very happy member and my family!!!!
It’s a great hardcore gym with everything you need, good oldschool machines and great atmosphere.The only downfall is that some of the heavier dumbells (100lb+) are bend and therefore not really usable or simply the weight is not written on them so it’s really hard to find a pair of them sometimes.
Best gym!!! Great motivation from not just the owners but everyone around. It doesnt matter if youre a beginner at lifting weights, you will learn and achieve goals you never thought were possible. Get in here and test your limits!!

Good rustic, hard core gym. Equipment is old, but it adds to the ambiance. Overall great place to workout. Could use more mirrors though.
This is the best gym in any direction for 100 miles. I have never even heard of a better gym. If you want to get your sweat on, this is the place to be. I highly recommend everything about it; from trainers, to equipment, to culture. It is an amazing place.
Went here for the first time to train yesterday and loved it. They let you workout for free on your first visit. This gym has everything you need. And the place is huge! Definitely an old school gym so dont expect new equipment. Theres a place to eat your meals which is a plus. There is no AC so be prepared for a good sweat. I felt like a warrior training here and will definitely be going back.

Its just a regular gym. Why pay $40 dollars a month when planet fitness charges $10??? Just to say you workout at the castle? Plus planet fitness stays open 24/7. The castle does not. Plus theres only one castle.Just my opinion.

Best place to train if youre into the hard-core gym lifestyle owners and coaches treat you like family. Ive trained and coached Jiu Jitsu here for over 2 years.
Big space, anything you need to build the body you want, no A/C so if that bothers you look elsewhere. Good energy.. people working hard for a reason minding their business. Good prices for what you get.
I love this gym. For the people who get what this type of gym is for it cant be beat. No shortage of equipment and the atmosphere is definitely not social hour (you dont see people standing around yapping. They come here to do work), but still totally supportive and friendly. The music is loud, the weights are heavy.
Old school gym. I love the atmosphere. Im a huge fan of the body building and power lifting culture. That is what you find here.
This gym is perfect if you want to train for real, not just act like you are and make pictures of you to post on instagram, the fact that is raw gives the necessary atmosphere to train hard, because after all you do not come to the gym to relax you come to work hard and push yourself. If you are looking for that than this is the perfect gym.

Best gym. Everytime I pass through I go here. Has all the strongman and strength equipment I need. Owners are always welcoming and inviting. Have food prepped meals and can get a good meal and hit the road. Couldnt recommend more.

Great concept. Good people. Definitely takes care of military. However, this great machines is a complete lie. Their machines pads are all jacked up, some of the equipment - albeit, not a lot - hasnt been maintained for literally years. Weights are constantly all over the place. And a bunch of the Dumbbells are unequal handle sizes. A lot to look past, and once you do its cool because theres a lot of heavy-hitters and go-getters around. Its dirty too. Like unclean. But hey, every gym has something to work on.
I LOVE this gym!! Tons of equipment, lots of room, and bargain membership fees. What sets it apart are the owners who care and the amazing trainers!

This place is HUGE, no wonder they call it The Castle. Rendy and the team have set up a first class place to train for serious gains. Whether you are into Strongman, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, or CrossFit theyve got you covered. Tons of specialty bars, calibrated plates, racks, bumper plates, tires to flip....this place has it all.My only issue is no heat in the winter.....I hate lifting heavy in the cold. I drive 20 miles to train here because its worth it!

Biggest runaround to cancel a membership ever. Will not cancel in club, they force you to go online to read the cancellation policy which demands 30 days notice either written or verbal notice via phone. BUT, going in and asking them to close your account doesnt count as verbal notice.Shady business practices like this can help me disregard completely the quality of the training facility because clearly they would rather steal your money than earn it.

Its actually a real gym, its also the best gym. They have so many weights you can finally lift heavy enough to pick up your mom.

2021-04-16What can I say about this wonderful placeThe equipment is elite/pro level.Massive space dedicated to every type of lifter and fitness level.Wonderful and kind owners that live the lifestyle and are constantly on the floor alongside you supporting your goals.Trainers that are professional and cover any type of training needs or wants.For a small fee compared to other gyms you get access to the same time and equipment that the elites train and smash records with.Garrett Denham is a terrific coach and great guy in 10 months took a guy who could only deadlift 140 and has him pulling 385.Like it says in the back “This place is my second family”

2022-07-04Bare bones gym, with equipment tested thru time by bodybuilders, workout warriors and everyday people trying to better themselves. People tend to mind themselves to their workouts, but very open to spot you, let you join their set, and conversate about gym banter.

2022-03-09The gym is a very hard-core style but they have these boot camp style classes all in the weight lifting areas and the trainers that lead them are rude, messy, throw equipment around and it really was distracting. Im disappointed in the gym overall

2021-12-16Awesome gym!!! I came through town and felt the need to get in some training. Easy transaction at the front and 10 bucks is a perfectly reasonable price for a day pass. The environment is great too! (Kinda dungeon style but not run down like most are.). MORE than enough equipment, lots of space, plenty of fans to keep you cool, and good music that’s at a perfect volume. (Low enough that you can communicate with a lifting buddy, and high enough to keep you hype while covering your grunts/yelps/hollers) 11 out of 10, I’ll definitely be back when I come through FW again!
