Food is great. Staff is great. Only thing that I have bad to say is that there is limited seating, and the music is too loud. Felt like I was at a club. But the food is top of the line. Definitely recommend. They need a bigger venue

I love district. Both locations. Bomb food, great prices.But tonight Piedras location. The tio dj/bartender behind the bar. Kept talking on the mic, kept cutting the music off my guy, youre not more entertaining than poppin music. Learn to read the room
Let me tell you, I came to this place solely based on Yelp reviews. Thank you guys! This place is spectacular. The half and half tacos were absolutely the best thing Ive ever had. They made us half and half fries, good Lord! Lmao! I will definitely keep coming back. This was my first time here. The waitress was so sweet and friendly! I think this might be better than Chicos (if you knew me, you would know that would never come from my mouth haha). Love it guys.
Food was horrible . I ordered the green rolled taco , when i got them they were already soggy . And the nachos were one big piece melted together as one in a small plate. Could eat them at all .

All new and modern interior really elevates the bar. As a bonus, youre greeted with the pleasant aroma of fresh food as you walk in! Theyve got a great in-house kitchen turning out some delicious food. (Tacos, burgers, nachos, salads, wings, etc.)The staff is friendly and attentive. The bar also has quality live entertainment and DJs.
Love this place for dancing. When I get the chance to go there, thats all I do. The music is great, the food delicious, the service is also great. You feel like you belong. Their rolled tacos are so good as are their seasoned fries. Give it a try sometime, you wont regret it. UPDATE: well, certain nights the dj that is normally was not there. So the music was not at good as I hoped for memorial weekend. So I guess its hit and miss.
So i have gone to this place a few times now and let me tell you this place never dissapoints it always has a great ambience and the staff are super friendly this place i would highly recommend if you are looking to have a good time with some good drinks and good food!

The bartenders were great even tho there were only 2 of them they did amazing for the full bar but the bar backs picked up my beer buckets even tho they were full of beers while we were dancing at 1230am. Luckily the young lady bartender she replaced my beer because she knew I had just got my beer from her a few minutes ago. Overall a good experience make sure you have bartender patti help you out she is the best!!
The beef rolled tacos... fav. But most of everything Ive tried is great. Mozzarella sticks are about the size of a pickle.

I really don’t write reviews at all but I was disappointed with this one. I was just here a couple of hours ago after the miner game with my dad and the service was terrible we waited for 30 minutes and nothing I know you guys had party going on but even so no staff members could be seen to ask. as we stepped outside to leave my dad was not upset he just told one of the security guards about the service one of them was cool and understanding but the other one with the gun got all up in his face calling him a diabetic which he is and calling other names as we walked to our vehicle like wanting to instigate a fight even tho we where just giving our concerns as we left peacefully, but it is what is I don’t recommend this place

The food is pretty bomb (GOOD).. Cant get enough of the rolled tacos. Get them Divorciados (half green sauce, half red sauce), its the best. Dive bar ambiance where you can sit comfortably, order a drink without yelling, relax, and have a conversation with friends.
The service was a bit slow but it was only two bartenders and a full house so cant really be upset they were going as fast as they could.
My go too for nachos and rolled tacos. Great portions. Great staff

The food was great! It took some time for it to come out and it was our first time there. We werent sure if we should seat ourselves or wait since there werent clear instructions at the door. We sat ourselves and were greeted right away. I do recommend the rolled tacos, the chicken sandwich and the fries.

Went after the UTEP game Saturday night and had a BLAST!! GOOD DRINKS AND GOOD FOOD! Destiny is the Bomb!!super sweet and a great host!! Highly recommend!!
We need to know the security that was present for Saturday night 7/10. We had a bad experience with them. We were followed to our car, security followed us and one particular security guard followed my friend and punched him in the face. There was no reason to be followed and provoked by security who we as patrons are supposed to be protected by not assaulted.I’m sure the owner is not impressed by these actions. Hope to talk to the owner soon
Normally really great food and customer service. However, not so good today. We went there for lunch. Sat there for 40 minutes. Never got our food and left. The server was real sweet and kept apologizing that it was taking so long. It was frustrating for sure. Watched them carry out a dozen to go orders. Think maybe they would care a little more about the people who are actually sitting there.
Enjoyed the music, but the place is kinda ghetto looking. The table where we were smelled bad although a guy cleaned it out still smelled like dirty rag. The drinks and service was ok.
Their rolled tacos are better than Chicos.. also recommend their District Guac as an appetizer & Serrano Chicken Tacos (these are 🔥).
They only have one bartender/server in the mornings so service can be slow at times. We get out of work around 8am so your morning are our night. Its nice to have a place open at this time.
Very good service! Very fun. I just wish they played country music. They arent aloud to. When we were there on friday April 9. The dj said he wasnt aloud to play country nor Spanish. But they played Spanish. One song.
Terrible service. They lost my card. I had to report it lost because their server lost it. Never come here. Would not recommend. The space is small. The service is terrible. Dont waste your time.

Primarily bar style menu and seating. Large open area. Barmaid courteous and attentive. And their beef rolled tacos combo was plentiful. Much larger, meatier and tastier than Chicos. Not exactly a family environment. But great spot for cold beer and quick lunch at the bar while getting your ESPN/NFL updates on many HDTVs. Give em a try.

I love the environment and music. Majority of the patrons were older generation...all here to have a good time. Bartenders, especially Leila, were very attentive despite the large crowd tonIght. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to just hangout, chill, and have a great time.
We come here often and the food is always delicious! The service is sometimes slow but its definitely worth the wait. Shannon usually helps us out and shes wonderful. Its a kid friendly environment during the day and at night the music is entertaining and the crowd is fun and cheerful. Will be back for sure!
Just moved to TX and thought Id try this place. Nothing to rave about. All the food has too many flavors. Just because you add 20 spices to your rolls tacos doesnt make them good. Less is more. They were cold when they arrived and the drinks all had a fruity flavor and they werent meant too.Service took way too long for a lunch break after telling her we had to be out in an hour. We already knew what we had to order and we still waited around forever. Then I had to chase down the server to pay her just to get out of there.Plus I wrote a simple more diplomatic review on Google and the owner responded with a crying face.Disrespectful, and Rude. This is El Paso word of mouth gets around fast. I will post this anywhere I can put it.
Ive had the Chicos style tacos here which are delicious. Being a bar though, youd expect they have a good variety of beer on tap which is a little lacking.

Love the District Pub and Kutchen ,. Food is delicious and you get served within a few minutes. Beer is ice cold and bar tenders are friendly and provide excellent customer servuce. I have frequented this location since 1983 which has changed management several times but through our the years I can still find a friendly face amongst the crowd. I recommend The District in the highest order. Great Place!
Im not going to lie.... it looks like a hole in the wall but I do always have a good time there. Ive gone different days of the week to see how is it. Fridays get pretty live there.
It really depends on who the bar tenders are. Some are so awesome and others basically only attend to the bar area and their friends. Tonight was one of the bad days. Mind you, its a Tuesday night and not really packed. Not empty but not packed. We walked in, and we got a table really fast and guy came and cleaned our table immediately. After that no one acknowledged us. They kept walking by us, we would wave and try to get attention but nothing. Finally after like 15-20, we called one loud enough to where she couldnt ignore us. I ordered two beers and a menu. Took another 10 minutes to get them. We looked over the menu and she she never came back. Same thing trying to get her attention and nothing. Another 20 minutes. I just decided I wanted to leave. Couldnt even get her attention to pay and I even went up to the bar. I really just wanted to walk out. We were clearly just being ignored. I left money on the table and got the hell out of there.
Excellent place for food, drinks, and socializing. Bar tenders are always quick and attentive. They have a few private booths for small parties which I like and I always leave here with a couple new friends. Just learned they do not allow the coalition.
Came here on a tip for better than Chicos Tacos tacos. Look, they arent Chicos, cant ever replace Chicos, HOWEVER, I wont be going back to Chicos anytime soon. These tacos were DELICIOUS. We ordered a large order of fries, and those were perfect too. Best part of it was that we washed it down with a beer, and THAT you cant ever do at Chicos. The service was FRIENDLY, and ATTENTIVE. I havent had service like this in a while. The bar atmosphere felt casual and comfortable. My hats off to this location, very good first impressions, and highly recommended.

Went to watch the football game and have a beer, was delightfully surprised when we ordered one of their burgers and added on bacon and a fried egg. It came out looking beautiful and tasting FANTASTIC. Fully recommend the food. Absolutely delicious.
The tacos are amazing and make you forget about Chicos. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. This is exactly what a neighborhood bar/restaurant should feel like!
The food is great, but the service absolutely sucks. Needlessly to say if you love bars full of coke addicts. You can’t use the restroom without finding baggies in the urinal or hearing your stall neighbor loading up his nose. Also the bar staff suck at customer service! Never will I return!

Good food, good drinks and a good atmosphere. As a vegetarian they helped me with selecting something meat free. The waitress was friendly and I was able to watch the Saturday games. The only negative side I could say is deciding between the green or red sauce...both equally delicious...

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Today I placed a togo order. Initially they forgot part of the order. When they corrected it I rechecked the rest of the order. I ordered cheese fries and the cheese was so watery and looked curdeled. I went to show the attendant in the front and she took it to the kitchen and her answer was that the cheese they gave me was what was left over and they would be making a new batch soon. Was it left over from the day before? I placed my order at the beginning of the day after they just opened. I didnt feel comfortable about eating it so asked for it to be taken off my order and for the time I was waiting that my fries were cold so I asked for them to be remade. She had a huge attitude so I asked for her name Lauren and then with a bigger attitude she made sure to spell it out for me in an agressive tone. After receiving my fries I realized that she also overcharged me from the begining $9. I had already went back out to my car when I realized the overcharge so I reentered and when I asked about the overcharge she immediately knew exactly how much she over charged me. How coincidental. Did she purposely overcharge me? I will never return to this establishment. I have done customer service for over 23 years and would never talk to any of my customers in this way.

Really great friendly service! Everyone is smiling and feels happy to help. The food is a MUST HAVE! If you try any of their tacos youll be glad you went!! They even have a variety of games from arcade classics, to giant genga and beer pong. Its fun for anything youre into with drink specials all day and tons of tv and projectors to play all of our favorite sports.
In my experience, service was excellent, food was on point, and prices were superb considering the fact I was there on a Sunday... Many compliments from friends n family via snap.... I would have given it five stars but the service really sucked. Heres my review... I walk in and sat at the bar because there really isnt enough seating available to be honest. I sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes before I was greeted and asked what Ill have to drink. It took a little bit to get my drink which was just a coke. I finally ordered what I went to try since everyone keeps saying theyre the best, which was the rolled tacos and queso fries. It did take what seemed like another 10 minutes to get my food and still hadnt gotten a refill... Heres where everything took a turn for the best lol... My food came and already I was pleased! It looked very good and yummy! As soon as I took a bite of my first rolled taco in red sauce, I was hooked. Then I took a queso fry and I couldnt stop eating! Seriously, I cant believe the rolled tacos were actually better than the original El Paso joint that everyone knows... They taste the way that place use to taste! From the sauce to the old great tasting government cheese. They were extremely good. And the fries were actually perfect!!! Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside smothered in that chile con queso sauce! Took me back to high school cheese fries at the Hard Work Cafe! Great job on the food but definitely need to hire more staff! One bartender/waitress is not enough to serve the whole place. Will definitely go back for the food, hopefully the service improves.

Nice place, but service was slow. We waited 20 minutes before we were ask if we would like something to drink.. another 22 minutes before we got asked if we would like to order food.. asked for another round of drinks and never received our round. . Food was cold. . Was not a big fan..
This is better than Chicos Tacos. We have enjoyed Chicos for the past 20 years, but lately they havent tasted good at all. This is more a bar than restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive. They have a variety of itmes on the menu but we went for the rolled tacos. We also had a full order of fries that can be for up to 4 people. Well come back with our kids.

The bartender Niyla who was transferred from the Piedras location to the airway location is SUPER attentive, friendly, and professional. The door guys as well! Not forgetting to include the food which is SUPERB!!

Please dont let this place fail. Best rolled tacos in El Paso...just like Chicos Tacos once was. Seating can improve, and yes, its a bar, so expect loud music and the smell of skunky beer with your delicious rolled tacos.

An alright bar scene with some amazing food. They have an off-brand Chico’s tacos, flauta’s soaked in red or green sauce. Try them! They’re wings are fantastic along with some cheese fries and nachos. Skip this place if you’re on a diet!
5 stars to The District for making me vegetarian friendly rolled cheese tacos. First time Ive ever had rolled tacos because everyone either has beef or chicken. Told the waitress my dilema and she talked to the chef and he hooked it up and they were delicous. Both red and green were good but my favorite was the green sauce. Ill definitely be back. Bat had a cool vibe with over side board games and the tunes were on point. We will be back for sure!
Ive beem here a time or 2 for the food. The drinks are drinks, nothing special. The service is a little slow to greet you. They acknowledge you almost immediately when you open the door but it feels or seems like theyre only taking a glance to see if its who they want to be. They looked at me and I looked back at them with a smile but when I wasnt someone they knew, they turned away. A few moments later someone else walked in and when bartenders looked at the patron walking through the, the patron didnt even acknowledge them and they were smiling back at him. Just creates an awkard beginning for us as customers when we first arrive.
I like to have drinks and eat here, but they never pick up the phone. Tried calling to place a pick up food order and have called 6 times with no answer. Called the location on airway, and they pick up right away, every time. I decided to go down there, and there was only one person working the whole bar.

We order fries to snack on and they came out cold. Second batch came out hard. Waitresses were not friendly. They were slow to bring you a drink so I just went to the bar. Whats the use. Home for Liverpool FC matches. They usually show any matches after 10, and some before with notice.Love this place. Badass food, theyve got drinks and plenty of screens for different games. Their rolled tacos are better than Chicos, and the seasoned (fried or grilled) chicken sandwiches are bawse. They also have potato rolled tacos for vegetarians.Provided its not slammed, the service is fast and the staff is friendly and actually welcoming.

Went there for a farewell get together. It is dificult to find parking, but there is street parking close enoung so thats not a big deal. The atmosphere was good, service was not the best (But I can honestly say I have had worse) and the food was awesome (even my kids loved it, and kids can be brutally honest). I plan on stopping in again.

The environment was good although I never got asked for what I needed from the waiter or waitress the music was alright (country) but I enjoyed being there with a few co-workers
Be careful using your credit card here. One of their staff attempted to charge $2000 to a fake financial company out of Houston. Luckily they were blocked, but I had to get new cards.
I am a regular there. I always ask for Serrano wings. All drums. A little picky but I get what I pay for.
The rolled tacos were very good. Especially the green ones 😋. Will definitely be going back.

The fold is quite good but the smell of old mop and wet towel ruined it. However the atmosphere is okay if youre over 40 or a Liverpool fan .

2021-10-28Their rolled tacos, crinkled fries, & sauce are way better than Chico’s Tacos. Sorry not sorry Chico’s! My favorite is their green sauce served in super cheesy, spicy sauce on piping hot crispy fries…yummmm! Only thing slacking is their customer service and they don’t have draft beer.

2022-05-03This is a great bar and grill. Theyre drinks are great and delicious. Now obviously it depends on your liking of food and drinks but they dont disappoint. Their burgers, rolled tacos and especially their wings are a must to try. I Love eating here on my days off and to also have a few drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating and drinking here.

2022-07-17Service was lacking, waitresses were overwhelmed due to staffing shortage and/or amount of patrons. In need of remodeling throughout, especially flooring in the establishment,( saw woman fall on dance floor, not sure if floor was the issue) mens restroom needs a total make over. Good music playing, rolled tacos were decent.

2022-03-31Stopped by to get a bite to eat and OMG!! The rolled tacos were delicious!! The green sauce was my favorite but the red was very tasty too. The chicken wrap was also mighty good! Jessica was very nice, great attitude as were a couple sitting next to me. Looking forward to the west side opening cuz there were lots of items on the menu I want to devour!

2022-04-20Our family has loved going to the district. When we first moved to El Paso, this was right up the street and wed frequently visit. Weve since moved to the East side but whenever we are in the area we are sure to stop in.On our last visit, it was Easter Sunday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our server was attentive and ensured our meal was as we ordered.

2022-07-18Update yall. Came Sunday night with my lady July 17 2022. Time is 11:15 . It took 15 min to get a refreshment I had to ask for it. Only about 25 patrons and cant like no one wanted to work just wanted some rolled tacos with my lady. Atleast a lil acknowledgement would be nice. Just sad to bring my lady and have to feel the cold shoulder like I said if you dont like your career change it. Just sad yall be safe and be blessed. Till next time mix out. 😎

2022-05-21Lost a wallet there and was never returned. Because when asked to double check, and look at video feed, I was told no. I had stepped out for not even 20 minutes and wallet fell between chairs by the bar. Place was almost empty. Possibly one of your employees might of picked it up and never returned it. So the 1 star was for not helping out a customer look for a lost wallet that had sentimental value.
