The Home Depot in other cities:
The Georgetown TX store has issues with its inventory online compared with its inventory in store. I wanted a 14 inch VELUX sun tunnel and they said there was one, but as the assistant told me when I arrived that there were none. In contrast I went to the Lakeline TX store where they said online there were 4 and there were. I bought two. This is not the first time Georgetowns inventory did not align with the reality of its stock. Whats up with that?
Do not order anything online from Home Depot. I ordered a mower that was supposed to ship and arrive in 3 days. It has been 11 days and it has not been shipped. I have no updates on if it is even still coming or not, and the phone customer service cannot even provide me an answer for 72 hours after I called to check on the order. They have likely stolen my money and never intend to ship me this product. There is no one else to speak to in their customer service department. Terrible experience.
Super convenient location for a Home Depot is what keeps this store going for so many years. This is not a high-volume store like the other Home Depots around town so you may have trouble finding certain items or limited Supply on certain things. There are self serve check out lanes which really is rare. Complimentary handled paper bags if you ask for one. The staff is professional and courteous.
Employees are nice like you would expect, though occasionally Ill have some issues with checkout and thatll be happening with someone else as well, so I have to wait to get help. It would be nice if they had checkout on both sides too so I could park near the hardware and get what I need and checkout without having to walk across the parking lot. Just a thought.
I went to Home Depot for a specific picture hanging hook. I get anxious asking for help so I looked up the item on my local Home Depot’s website and it told me what aisle and bay number it’s located in, which was extremely helpful. I was greeted by BJ at self check out who gave me advice on hanging my large mirror and helped me sign up online for my military discount.
Good enough, I found what I wanted (searched online so I had the row and bin information)Early, so not very busy, and plenty of self check registers were open and being used by customers, so I did too. An attendant offered to assist me, but I was able to complete my transaction and be on my way.
I had previously bought a refrigerator and dishwasher from this store last year, both on clearance, and scored a fantastic deal. Went back recently on a similar search for a relative who was desperately needing a fridge cause his went out. I was in a bind and needed to drive away with one that day. Its always luck of the draw on such deals, especially during these pandemic times. But I didnt have time to wait for a delivery that could take days to weeks after placing my order. After burning nearly a half tank of fuel and five hours checking every other store in the Austin metro area I ended up back here again. There was one new discontinued Frigidaire floor model I had seen earlier that was a little smaller than ideal (15.9 cf) but I took it anyway cause it was the right price (
Twice I have gone to this location to purchase a storm door. The first time I left because the associate started helping someone else after she was already helping me. The second time the associate was training another associate on the computer and completely ignored me for about 10 minutes even though I was standing right in front of them. She finally asked me how she could help me and I said I want to order a storm door. She then turned her back to me and continued to train the other associate. Then she completely walked off without assisting me. I was pretty upset so I went to the front and asked to speak to the manager. He finally came up and I explained what happened. His response was Im sorry and I will speak to her. I told him that I was taking my business elsewhere and he again said sorry. He never once said I am so sorry that happened but lets go over there right now and get that storm door ordered for you. He basically let me walk out the door. Clearly the message from management is the customer is not very important to us. I am sad because this is my go to Home Depot location, but not anymore!!
Like the extra large contractor and trailer parking, however a lot of times, small cars take up those spots. Also, pretty tight to drive around in the parking lot. Inside, help takes longer than usual. If you go during the day, expect a 30 minutes delay if theres something in the upper shelves that needs to be brought down.
Its a Home Depot - they generally have all the things you need. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I have questions or need assistance. The store is generally kept clean and well staffed. They could certainly use more check out locations at this store, as you will likely be waiting in a fairly long self checkout line.
Thank you to the manager (Mike) at Lakeline Home Depot for offering excellent customer service. Yesterday I placed an online order for over $2k worth of flooring that was supposed to be delivered. Due to a glitch it was not delivered yesterday as scheduled. Mike and crew made things right by delivering this morning. Thank you for the great customer service!
Horrible service by manager Jennifer who declined to honor an offer on an item that was discounted at another Home Depot. The store on Howard checked the stock and told us that the price would be honored at this location. We drove over 30 minutes just to be turned away, Jennifer showed no sympathy about the situation and did not even apologize about the confusion. She simply stated that the other store was wrong. I’ll take my business else where, where the know that the customer is always right.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR COUNTERTOP ORDER!I went to this store and ordered and paid for quartz kitchen countertop on September 6th, 2021. The associate that placed my order told me it will take 4-6 weeks to have my countertop installed. After 5 weeks, I followed up to see when is the date for my installation and surprisingly I was told that the installation company put my order on material hold for a while without notifying me. I asked for a date, but they refused to give me a date. I was informed that the store is transferring all orders to a new vendor. I asked them to transfer my order if the new vendor can provide a date for installation and they told me they say that they can install my countertop in 3 weeks.Long story short, after transferring the order to the new vendor, Home Depot told me that the new vendor give an estimate of 4-6 weeks for getting the material and then they can schedule for installation. I followed up with the new vendor via email and they told me that they already have the material in stock but they dont have time in their schedule for installation. And that was when I realized Home Depot was LYING to me about material! Material excuse is what they use to shut the customer up. If they say material is not available, customer can do nothing but to wait. After following up everyday with customer care, store representative, and store associate manager, I still couldnt get a date for my installation. They just told me that there is no way to have it before thanksgiving and the installation company will shutdown for two weeks starting the week of November 24th. THATS DISSAPOINTNG.After 2 months the store representative suggest me to go to other companies. The say thats your other option!!!THIS REVIEW WILL BE UPDATED!
I had an exceedingly pleasant and streamlined experience today shopping for washer/dryer appliances for my home. Patricia Wallace was the associate who assisted me in making my selection and purchase. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about the products and promotions, and made me feel a valued customer. Ive also had good experiences at Home Depot in the past.
Ordered a free standing bath tub online, estimated delivery was Nov 3rd, 2 days later i checked again and it is to be delivered Nov 6th, then i checked again today and it is now Nov 9th. I am pretty upset how slow their delivery is :( as this order was placed early Oct 2021. They don’t have any of this kind of tub in stock or i would pick one in store. I hate how much time waste on our project waiting for slow service.
Home Depot has usually what you need to fix something. A lot of times you have to find the right person to ask. I used to be able to easily look up the aisle and bay of a product online using their Wi-Fi because the warehouse seems to block my cellular signal. Nowadays, the Wi-Fi doesn’t seem to work at all. This happens at several Home Depot I’ve visited in Austin. It has made finding the thing I wanted much more frustrating.Despite that, the helpers are friendly, though honestly the best, most knowledgeable and on point service I’ve received is at the Lowes at Lakeline.
This store is always on point. I have done their curbside and also go in all the time. They always have what I am looking for in stock, from mowers to lumber to plants. Working from home and being on the computer all the time, I have become a fan of their curbside where I can order online then just pick it up.
Asked for assistance on aisle 16,no one ever came and I asked cashiers twice to contact for assistance. Brought situation to there attention just said sorry when I we were leaving. That sure doesnt happen at Pflugerville H/D , mgr. orders dont let customer leave without the product they were looking for or similar.
The supervisor who is in charge of the grills US a Real Di…!!! I wasn’t able to pick up my grill timely and called to let them know that I would pick it up a few days later due to me being out of town! I was told that would be ok and the account was noted! I received. Cancelation notice 2 days later! That specific grill in that color is not available online anymore and a different color is $50.00 more! After spending $5000.00 at that specific store you couldn’t hold a grill?!!! 👎🏼
Somehow I always seem to forget that buying paint in under 2 hours at this store is next to impossible. Yesterday we went in and one person was working the paint counter (super hard -but all alone). A half a dozen people in line ahead of us and no movement in the 20 minutes we stood there. The paint chip had a note on it encouraging online orders, so we went home and ordered online for pick up. Only to find out the next day that the pick up date is a week away and the order cannot be cancelled. Called and spoke to a manager who was clearly less than thrilled to help with the problem. He did try cancelling the order, but had no luck in-store or with the corporate office. I appreciated the effort, but his bottom line was that I should have known it would be a busy day at the store because it was a holiday.
The employee named Art in the electrical/lighting department is super helpful. He goes above and beyond to assist customers. I would definitely recommend going to him, if your in the store. I hope this store realizes how lucky they are to have him on their team. Thanks again Art!
Really good customer service, as always. Better than Lowes there. Also found some unique gift items (the Manly Calendar - hilarious and less than $5). Competitive prices, faster than ordering from Amazon, plus you get your hands on the actual tools youll be working with. Nice wide aisles accommodate handicap needs. Parking for handicap could be better.
Nice people answering questions. Everybody welcoming our dogs too. Still cannot beat Amazon for breadth of selection, however sometimes you just want to see and touch the pipe fittings or hand tools, or you need paint mixed... then Home Depot is great. This store is very good, and being next to H-mart, it is very convenient for us.
Most of their power tools are locked up, which is understandable. However, it is frustrating when there is no one able to help you. I waited a few minutes and didnt see any employees in the area, so I went to find one. I found an employee at the self check and asked if they could help get someone to assist me with getting the tool I came to purchase. She said she would but that the specific employee for the Power Tool area may be on lunch break. After waiting another 20 minutes, no one showed up to help me.Long story short, dont come to home depot during lunch or dinner time. If you want a power tool and their power tool employee is on break, you are SOL...I left and took my business elsewhere.
Ordered a new thermostat online and picked up at store. The process is smooth. The only thing is after online order, the system told me it might take 2 hours to prepare and suggested me to wait for confirmation before going to the store. The confirmation was never received.
I have been going here for 5 years and the store is very organized and I call this store my home store .The electric department run by Art Cooke is second to no store. He is more knowledgeable in his craft than imaginable. He has been a great asset to me with my business. Hope to see him for a long time.
Jason as a manager is exceptional. Helping during unprecedented times with a global pandemic and people who aren’t able to do and shop as they otherwise might. This location has been incredible over he past 2 years, once we stopped going to the Cedar Park location—it all went uphill from there. Especially for kids craft Saturdays! Highly recommend!
I am so impressed with the level of service and care I received tonight. Al (electrical) and Nick (freight) were both exceptional to my experience. Al went above and beyond my expectations by not only finding an attachment to a lamp I needed but installing this piece (a rather lengthy process) I would’ve never been able to do myself. Thank you!!!
We were here s few nights ago. My husband spent an hour looking for 3 nuts to fix my lil ones tricycle. In the end we asked an older gentleman working that aisle that night. He found every nut we needed. It was literally needle in a haystack, because we had no specifications. He brought tools from different aisles, took apart the whole front wheel, figured out what nuts we needed and fixed everything perfectly. All at the late hour of 9pm. He made our night! My sons happiness was boundless that day. I want to thank that gentleman. You were so kind and wonderful! Your kindness is inspiring.
Love this home depot, the guys here are always super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. My only complaint is with the garden department, it seems that Everytime Ive bought a plant or soil from here , I always get bugs :( think it might just a be a home depot problem in general
As a female that doesnt understand anything about construction; home Depot can be very intimated as you first walk in. However every time I walk in, I am greeted by a veteran that can notice my confused face and tell me exactly which aisle I need to go to. Without problems I am always in and out with the right product in my hands. I love this home Depot in particular.
I like being able to check online and see what items are in stock at different locations. It’s also heat being able to look up the location of an item inside the store when you don’t know where something is. I also like the self checkout option, Lowe’s usually only has 1-3 checkouts open and no self checkout.
Always like variety of items I can choose from when I come here. It does get overwhelming and can take alot of time to find exactly what you are wanting to find. Sometimes, it’s things that I’ve never bought before and have more help readily available would be a big plus.
Just so-so customer service. No one knows anything! But theyre nice. The store was not very well stocked but I am sure theyre blaming covid 19. I came to get plants, bought a couple and left. No one ever asked if they could help not was I greeted by the person at the door. It was not a great experience.
Glad we found this location. Everyone was very helpful and nice. From the guy we worked with in the door department (Harshil) to the cashier (Emmanuel) and all the way up to a manager - Michele. Definitely will visit the garden shop again. Extensive selections, well-labeled - so you can find things and when you do you know which price label belongs to which product. Definitely will seek this location out again.
So Ive been here multiple times because they have a slightly different selection of items compared to the North Mopac Home Depot Location. The oversized parking spots here are great for all the big trucks though. Gives everyone lots of room and less room for error. The phone answering service here is pretty terrible though thats why I gave them a 4 star versus a star. They put you on hold for quite a bit of time and give you the run around as well as hang up on you. Not sure if its due to busyness or error. But I was transferred around a few times and always back to the same person I started with and she always seems to forget what I needed. But the people are super nice and friendly in person there. I have never had issue getting help at this location. They are on top of their helping game here in person. The store is always clean and well organized as well.FYI its one of the few stores now a days that are pet friendly!
Honestly, I was quite impressed. I do not typically go to Home Depot and loath trying to find things at large hardware stores, but between the online store map, very detailed in store signs, and organized shelves, I was able to go right to the items I needed. Then as I pondered over which option to choose, one of their staff members were able to give us some advice.
I was looking for rose plants and got advised by a gardening staff member called Success. He also helped me find out better pots and right rose plants and why I should purchase those specific plants knowing my specific need that I can not plant them in ground. He showed me right rose plants for potting. Thanks to Success.
The employees here are either REALLY helpful or really NOT helpful. A guy named Steve, who is a manager and a lady named Michelle were really nice and also helpful. We got an electric lawn mower and weed whacker on a special deal and used a Lowes coupon. They honor coupons from competitors as long as it is not expired. They do not honor online deals but they do honor some Amazon deals so call ahead and ask!We were there on Memorial Day and it was packed. They did not have enough people working this day so on sale events you should probably go in with an open heart and be ready to wait in a line for a bit. heheThey have plenty of parking of course but are located off the service road so you have to make sure to be on the northbound service road.
Home Depot was quite crowded on Sunday. And having about half of the parking lot blocked off for re-paving on a weekend, no less, made it more inconvenient to shop. Plus, the staff was not enforcing the wearing of face masks or disinfecting returning carts. We felt very unsafe the whole time we were there. We shop HD a LOT (we have an HD Commercial Card, even), but I sure hope theyre not being too lax in how they run their ship.
Jim in the appliance section was fantastic! He had me in and out of the door pretty quickly, which was very nice because I had been shopping around all day and was ready to go home. Jim was very informative, knowledgeable and professional. I think I’ll choose Home Depot over their competitors every time now. GIVE JIM A RAISE!! :)
Clean store. Had what I was looking for in stock. People were very helpful. The only thing not great was checking out. The line for the self checkouts are not clearly marked which created confusion for us customers. The register got hung up and had to be reset before the transaction could be finished.
Great customer service at this location, went in looking for a new door handle (one with a code) and right as we walked in the door the very pleasant greeter asked us what we were in for and immediately pointed us in the right direction so we didnt have to waste any time searching up and down the aisles. I wish every place had such an informed and helpful employee at the door
It took some time to get help initially and they didnt have a ton of refrigerator stock out to look at (at least not at our visit). We were encouraged to look online and THEN come back. If I wanted to do it that way, I wouldve just bought it online to begin with. We left and bought one at different home improvement store.
This was the least helpful Home Depot. Called ahead to insure item was in inventory, drove over and item was missing. Section worker went to lunch while I was making the 5 minute drive and the customer service desk suggested I wait an hour for him to return rather than trying to assist in finding it themselves. Store was not busy, I don’t know why they didn’t attempt to help.
Hey, its another home improvement store that ran mom & pop hardware stores out of business, but arent well stocked with hardware. Thank goodness for Amazon and ebay. Any time I need to buy fence pickets, theyre there, though.Update, November 2020: this new pre-black Friday stuff is BS. They do ads with great deals, but only get small numbers of each item in.
Deceptive business practices, but they dont care. Be cautious when purchasing anything from this store that comes in a box. This is the 2nd time Ive paid full price for a Ryobi One+ tool that was not marked as open-box or used. This time it was missing all of the accessories and heavily used with black garage grease stains all over it. When i went back to do the exchange, customer service didnt seem surprised at all and even less concerned about wasting my time. They were even hesitant to open the box to prove to me one I exchanged for was new. Im leaning more toward being in favor of robotic automation everytime I have a terrible experience such as this. Ill drive the extra 5 miles to get to the next home depot or switch to Lowes.
Friendly staff, and an utterly horrible process to replace an appliance damaged during delivery. Delivery men tried to hide a crushed in side of a washer upon installation. We asked to see the side of the unit and found the damage. The washer was returned but Home Depot staff have no authority to just order a replacement to be delivered. They hand off the entire sale to the manufacturer that took 4 days to even call us to set up a delivery of a replacement which was set for three more days. Then they called after two days say they could not deliver that one on schedule and we would have to wait three added days. Home Depot took our old units and our money and have not delivered. Their corporate process is very unfriendly to their customers. Their staff is knowledgable and friendly, but their corporate process has taken all authority away from staff to help a customer once the sale is made. Dont buy appliances from Home Depot. They have no power to help you once you have paid.
Problems with returning Cosmo range.Waiting to see how things turn out.Problem I have is no one is ever sure of what will really happen in the end. So far all is going in the right direction.Mario at Lakeline has helped me with the return and he seems to know what direction to go.5 repairs since November on the range. Not good. Still not working.
I went in to buy a toilet and could not get anyone to help. I had researched online and knew exactly what I wanted but had a few questions, and there was no way I could lift it off the shelf. I stood in the section for 20 minutes, then went to electrical and got some stuff there. Went back to plumbing and waited another 10 minutes but got no help. Left without a toilet.
I went to Home depot last Monday to change my Gardenia. The one who received me was Mr. Grady. He was very patient, caring and knowledgeable. Also help me find pesticides about flowers. Finally, I met Mr. Alio, who was enthusiastic, and finally helped me find the right gardenia. Thank you very much for their help.
Typical Home Depot. Went in to buy a garden hose and reel. Ended up costing about $50. The cashier told me about a $50 discount if I applied for a credit card for with them. I did so and ended up getting the hose and reel for free. I wont keep the credit card though. Other than that had a good experience typical Home Depot clean everything and stocking in place that you could possibly want. Appreciated the suggestion for the discount.
I have had a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I was there to purchase window treatments. They had a great promotion on Bali blinds. I was ready to place an order based on that price. They said they had to come out and take measurements before placing on order. The price was good for another 2 days. I was told that they will be able to honor that promotion. I told them that if the promotion goes away, I would not be interested in getting the treatments from them since they would be too expensive for me. I spoke with customer service just to confirm this. They promised that if they cannot honor the price, they would refund the fee for measurements. After the measure was done, they flipped completely ! They not only did not want to honor the price but also did not want to refund the money. I was flabbergasted. After a little argument, they called their Manager who told the customer service to refund my money. That is the least they should be doing. This store can do much better - not make false promises,or keep the promises they make, not waste customers time and energy by misleading them ! This experience left me frustrated and disappointed. Its been 3 weeks without blinds/shades. Now I have shell out more money to get them.
Dont bother coming here if you want any lumbar cut. Waited almost 40 minutes for someone to come cut wood. I found an associate and asked for help after about 5 minutes and again after 20 minutes in this period. Both times they said theyd send someone over. There was a line of about six of us waiting there. I was the second to throw in the towel. What a waste of time.
Not a big $ item - a blind for a single room window.Sharon was awesome - she explained to us (me and my wife) the pros and cons of several blinds. She helped us pick a good one for our needs. When it arrived there was a broken blade. She contacted the manufacturer for us and got us a replacement blade. Both with the original order and replacement blade she called back to give us status updates.Could not want more in a transaction.Home Depot - Sharon M at the Lakeline Austin, TX store is the type of employee that makes your company succeed. Please reward her appropriately.
Not very impressed with service as I singed up for water softeners treatment. They told me the will have someone contact me within 24 hours . It has been over a week and still havent heard from anyone. Also purchased few things. Prices are higher at register when I checked out . It wasnt what the shelf prices was advertised. It doesnt tell much about this place.
A few of the employees here go above and beyond, one employee I didn’t catch her name with a short hair cut working near plumbing is very friendly and helpful and Danny at the pro area went above and beyond with assisting me! Ask for Danny! Also Josiah, he pays attention to every detail is very very good at his job!
So, I love the Home Depot because theyre pet friendly and it gives me the ability to take my dog for a walk and get some shopping done. Unfortunately, when I was there today, a guy walked in as I was checking out and he was followed by a dog who wasnt on a leash. As he entered (through the wrong doors as folks are trying to leave) the dog stopped and started sniffing different folks and completely ignored the owners commands. Finally the owner started changing his tone and the dog retuned to him. At this point, the store associate gave the dog a treat and asked the owner if he could help him find anything.Sorry, but I feel the associate should have politely informed the owner of the leash requirement and told to leave. Allowing them to enter the store puts the customers & staff at risk, the owner has zero control over the dog and he may not react well to other pets in the store. God forbid someone gets hurt and then corporate decides to stop allowing pets. These two idiots are the reason why more places arent pet friendly! Please HD, dont abandon your pet policy, but please enforce the requirements.
Tried to buy a toilet that was on sale, store didnt have one, sent to another store that I was told they had three in stock. Went to store and found out they didnt have or even carry that toilet. Back to original store and bought our second choice toilet. All this plumber was on hold to install. Altogether bad experience. Unusual for home Depot.
Reserved a van to use. When I got there I waited 40 min to be helped. Finally, the guy was ready for me and told me there was no van available. I told him I called 1.5 hours ago and the guy told me he would hold it for 2 hours. He said they dont hold anything for longer than 30 minutes. I told him thats not what the guy told. He was rude and didnt care. I will never rent a truck here again. Horrible customer service.
Its a Home Depot, so they have most of what theyre supposed to have although there are items at the Cedar Park store that this location does not carry. People in appliances are super helpful but the staff near the self check-out registers always seem to be on their break having endless personal conversations with one another, usually involving complaints about coworkers.
Sorry lowes, im breaking up with you finally... its just a toxic relationship now... im just so much more happy with HOME DEPOT. The quality and prices are so much better than what you used to sell me. Sorry.PS. I was cheating on you the entire time with HDWish you the best lowes, goodbye forever
Rented a truck through the Penske website to be picked up at this location. Walk in and the guy tells me they dont have any trucks (didnt even check the computer). I call Pensive who informs they have trucks. Walk outside and theres 14 trucks. Bring it the guys attention and he then logs in and pulls up my reservation, but proceeds to ask if he can help the guy behind me because inspecting the truck for me is going to delay the other guy. The audacity of this fn dude.
Home Depot carries most of the things you need for DYI home maintenance. Materials, tools, parts, fixtures. The biggest problem is finding assistance. If you need to find an item or ask for an opinion youll need to find a person. You can wander the aisles trying to find an employee but stay in the relevant department. When in plumbing you need a plumbing guy. If there is an employee around, queue up to ask you question. The other thing you can do find someone in appliances, there is usually someone there. They will find someone for you. The other way to find someone is to ask at the customer service desk. A idle register person can find someone for you I dont like to cruise the aisles, I go directly to the front.
Purchased a LG window A/C from Home Depot. It broke in a year. Their warranty partner Assurion has promised reimbursement 3 times and has LIED 3 times to send me compensation. Went to Home Depot and their employee was of no assistance and the Manager was to busy to talk to me. So before you purchase your A/C from Home Depot, realize they and Assurion will only point fingers at each other and Assurion customer assistance is as pathetic as Home Depots loyalty to there customers. Funny, we cant review Assurion.
Hello? Helloooo? Is anyone here? No one? Okay. Ill just ask for someone at the front desk and then wait half an hour, thats cool.It may just be this specific location, but every time Ive been here, the employees are playing some next level Hide and Seek game and even the front desk cant locate them at times. Its incredibly annoying.Im just returning what I bought and going to Lowes.
They should not allow people to park in the loading area. Trucks are parked for a long time so for customers who are ready to load, there is no space to use the loading area. Home depot needs to make sure they check to see that the trucks are not parked but ready to load.
They missed the delivery date of the appliances, never got a call from them telling us of the delayed. Tenant had to throw away all of their perishable items because the next delivery date was 10 days after. They wouldnt take the responsibility for the miss-delivery and said that it was out of their control. Only offered $50 which is a meager compensation that wouldnt cover any expense.
The love Behr paint! I went to sherwin Williams and wanted a total of 80 dollars for the same thing I got at home depot for 28 dollars. I am so glad I shopped around. I have to also give a shout out to Roberto for his patience and for being so helpful even after close!!! Roberto my room looks great I will have to share pictures with you!
We rented a tool from Dave the department head of tool rental. It was faulty and when we returned to ask for help he was very dismissive and pretended he didnt know what we were talking about. He was very rude, and when we complained to the manager the manager didnt care. I do frequent tool and truck rentals from home depot for DIY projects and have NEVER dealt with someone so unhelpful and rude. We will not be renting any more tools at this location.
Rented a tiller for small yard project. Hardly operated or worked and totally shut off 2/3 of the way to finishing job and would not re-start. Returned immediately and employee “Niko” could not have cared less. The machine started in the store and no consideration or concern was offered. He simply looked at me and said “it works”. Very unfortunate..
Our main paint store and the Behr paint products. My favorite is the paint samples which can be purchase in case one is unsure of the color without having to purchase a larger paint can. If we are painting over a darker color regardless if Behr has Kitz added to the paint, we purchase a separate Kitz can so the paint goes smoothly on and the darker paint does not show through. In the garden section I believe they may have a clearance section? If so, go there first!
First person I asked for help just said dont have it and never even stopped walking talking to me as he kept going..... 2nd person took time to look it up take me over where it wasnt and say sorry FOR PERSON ON PHONE WHO SAID WE HAVE 21 OF THE HEAT TAPE KITS...and made me drive over on ice and snow
This Home Depot isnt as large as some of the others in the Austin area but they do a good job trying to keep up. One good tip is that the restrooms are in the back of the store. Parking is a little tight, I think they made the spots too small, so if someone has a big truck they might want to park towards the back.
Im with Bagdad Elementary, and Im saddened to say that The Home Depot off Lakeline let down all 614 + students at our elementary. We were promised they would bring enough building supplies for a kids workshop. It had been confirmed four times for the last three months. An entire winter event had been planned around The Home Depot. They didnt show for the event and when we called about it that same night, during the event, acted like they didnt know about it. Theyve yet to send any apologies. Its a heartbreaking situation. All the teachers said they will not be shopping at The Home Depot due to moral.
Just stood in line few min and go to check out and theres no Barcode on either of the 2 items i want so she ask me to go take pic of Barcode i get back to the checkout and theres like 10 people in line ill pass dont need what i came for that bad. 2022-06-23Every time I have been to The Home Depot have always gotten help from the staff. This time around went for some tools to replace kitchen faucet. The gentleman who helped me was patient and offered great advise and even showed other options that are better priced.Love how vast the stores usually are but the staffs make it feel small since they can point you to exactly where things are.Previously visited the garden section and got lots of help. The Home Depot is usually a home owner palace and a DIYer’s Haven

2022-01-09We shopped for a new dishwasher here and so glad we did. They had a huge selection of machines on display, and we received excellent customer service from Dorothy. No pressure sales, let us take our time, had answers to all our questions. What a pleasurable shopping experience! Would definitely recommend!

2022-01-28This Home Depot location is right on my way home so it is a convenient stop. The staff is always very helpful and attentive. Today I got a key made and someone offered to help me right when I walked up to the key making station. The whole stop was super quick and easy.

2022-05-18I showed up to pick up an online purchase. Waited in line for my turn at the customer service desk. After presenting my ID and order number I waited approximately 15 minutes while the employee placed at least 4 calls to the back in an attempt to find someone to find my item. Eventually, an employee informed me that theyd go get the item and asked if I would pull my car around to the contractor pickup area. I did that, then waited another 15 minutes. The employee then showed me the item that theyd retrieved, but it was the wrong one...10 minutes go by and the employee shows up with the correct item. But, it weighs too much for the employee to lift...another 5 minutes go by while the employee goes to look for help. As Im standing there, I notice that my item is damaged. So, when 2 employees arrive to help load the item into my vehicle I said I dont want this damaged item.. I was then told, well, youll need to bring this damaged item back to customer service to return it.. I said, No, Im not doing that. I am just going to go to customer service. So, I exit the contractor pickup area, park my car, re-enter the store, stand in the customer service line...I tell the customer service rep that Id like an undamaged item. The customer service rep sends an employee to the back and they bring out another item. This one is damaged too. So, I said, Just refund my money, Ill go to another store.. All told, this took 56 minutes of my life. With so many home depots around town, this one will be my last choice for future purchases.

2022-03-25Tl;dr - If you are planning to update your windows, do not do it through Home Depot. We recently paid to have our 24 windows replaced. We placed the order in November and the install did not occur until March. This wasnt so much in Home Depots hands as this was due to manufacturing and shipping delays. The crew was scheduled to arrive at 8 AM and didnt show up until 12PM. This made it impossible for them to fulfill their promise of completing the project in 1 day.The crew did not cover our belongings and OUR ENTIRE HOUSE WAS COVERED IN GLASS AND DUST which they did not clean. They also left trash in the house, globs of caulk in random places, and white stains all over the floors. Also, they did not even bother to adequately clean the windows after the install. Our house is now a safety hazard, dangerous for our family, our children, and our pets.We were promised an excellent experience. We were sorely disappointed. I would not wish this on anyone. If you value your time, your safety, and your money, do not replace your windows with Home Depot.

2022-04-11Oh my goodness, Jay, who works at the Pro Desk is the MOST AMAZING employee I have ever dealt with at any store, ever. The man saw me lost, talked to my husband on the phone to help me find what he needed and just went above and beyond.Ladies, if your husband sends you to Home Depot to find something you are clueless about, go ask for Jay. The man is an ANGEL!

2022-03-31This one is pretty straightforward, its Home Depot. You can get pretty much anything you need or want for any home improvement project. The only thing to keep in mind is that some things are seasonal and if you are looking for something out of season, you will need to order it online. They also have a great tool and equipment rental section.

2022-03-26Nice experience. I had to buy some parts for work and found them easily. The cashier Megan was really nice and helpful and made the process so smooth and painless.

2022-03-07The only home store we shop up here in NW Austin! Custom Service is much more available than the competitors...which is the biggie. Prices are always competitive, but its the availability of being able to ask questions and direction to figure out which direction Im going...and what I might really need...or not need...that makes the difference on why I shop here versus Lowes
