The Home Depot in other cities:
This is not my normal store I go to, but I have been doing a job out by the lake and stop in at this store right when they open. Even at 6am with very few people available to assist me with checking if they had something that was out of on the shelf. I was looking up and I thought I saw a box way up high and the guy went and got the tall stairs from the other end of the store and got the box down and it was what I needed and he asked me how many do you need. I got what I needed and was greeted with a smile at checkout and out the door and was only in the store for 15 minutes and on my way to the job. Could not ask for more than what I received at this Home Depot location and would tell anyone nearby that needs home improvement supplies these guys got you covered and treat you like family. Stop in and see for yourself, Im confident you wont be disappointed.
Its Home Depot, what else can you say? If it needs bending, straightening, hammering out that one weird tool you have no idea you needed, is there. The staff is always nice and they dont even mock you when you come back 3 more times because you dont know what you are doing.
Update,Still one of my fav places for all things house and garden related. If you frequent the garden section you may be lucky enough to meet Rochelle who is both knowledgeable on plants and applications for bugs and plant disease. She obviously loves her work and always welcomed questions. So lucky to have her as a resource! As a newcomer to the area I have made repeated visits to this store to set up house. Wow! Customer service is the best and Im pretty sure I have visited every department. They exceed expectations and seem to have endless patience. Likewise when I have called the store, personnel are prompt and great about getting back to me if they dont have an immediate answer. When there has been an issue or error with a sales item, they have remedied the situation beyond what might be expected! Feel very lucky to have this store as a nearby neighbor! and look forward to continuing as a regular customer. They have certainly set the bar very high at this location.
I go between Home Depot and the other big box store. Both have most every construction project you could want but sometimes one has something the other doesnt. I found some 8ft fence pickets here when I couldnt find them at the other big box store. Clean store, friendly sales associates, good place.
The good: one of the least crowded Home Depot’s I have experienced; clean; and the employees are nice if you can ever find them. The bad: infuriating product placement. Things often not where they should be and so many times o find that one type of product is in three different areas of store. Never seen a HD have such problems with its this. Almost impossible to find an employee.
Great service! I went in for some paint and was overwhelmed by the selection. An employee saw me with my eyes full of confusion and rattling questions so he came to my help without me ever asking! Great service! I’m sure I looked like a deer in front of headlights and I really appreciate the attentiveness of the staff!
I tried to buy a refrigerator online and use my Home Depot gift Cards. Turned out to be a big pain. BUT I called Josh the manager at 4 points Home Depot and he took care of me.I came in store, he was Very nice and customer service oriented. Even after my dog had an accident at counter! Josh took me back to appliances to Dan Thompson who was extremely nice and i ordered my refrigerator! Great customer service!
Bad experience. Placed an online order expecting that would mean it would be quick and easy. Spent over an hour in the store waiting for them to “retrieve” my order. Honestly would have spent about 30 min myself, loading my pavers, taking to cashier, and loading in my truck. Don’t do online order at this store!
I dont like leaving bad reviews but this happens all the time in this store.I went to buy a bag of rocks and Im not kidding when I say there were 4 employees standing 2 feet away talking and not 1 of them asked me if I needed help. They all 4 watched me struggling, but not 1 asked me..I was in the store for 45 minutes and not 1 employee asked if I needed help.I was going to this store at least twice a week but not anymore.Home Depot do better.. No wonder this store is always empty.
I love Home Depot. We bought a big window unit AC there instead of spending $8,000 to replace our central unit. That AC costs $750.00 It cools our whole 2000 sq foot house. I had to get an electrician to put a new electrical plug in for it, but we like it better than central a.c. our electric bill is less than$100. We also bought a new fridge and a new stove the lady who helped us was awesome.
The store is ok since it’s the closest to me and I’d always shop there. In recent yearsI bought big appliances from this store 3 times and two were not satisfactory. The GE oven’s control board had to be replaced with a year and after that it still doesn’t work well. The worst experience was the latest with the washer delivery . I had to wait for a month and half to get the new washer delivered, on the scheduled delivery day, a Saturday, the delivery guys were half day late until evening. Worse yet, the broke my washer’s water valve and couldn’t hook up the washer then left, only left a note to request plumber. The next day, the water valve started to leak and water came running on to my laundry room floor. I had to call emergency plumbing service to prevent further damage.Home Depot deferred to their delivery contractor and the latter refused to refund my money for the damage they incurred!Worst experience I’ve ever had!
Rental department was VERY helpful. My place flooded, like so many others during this ice event. Ethan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and walked me through the available equipment. He got me exactly the right thing to remove the water and dry the carpet. Because of the ice, it took me a while to get my car to the loading area. So, he did the right thing without being asked, and extended my rental time by a few minutes. Great experience.
I am in Home Depots all over the greater Austin area. In the last 2 months this one has grown to be the best in town. The staff is not only nice but also willing to help. In my last visit I had one cashier, Brookyn IIRC, not only take initiative with an unruly customer in line but also in the same transaction flag down another employee and ask them to help me load my truck as I had a ton of materials. The employee who helped me load the truck was a younger gentleman who was not only a pleasure to talk to but also knowledgeable in proper loading. He even helped me tie down the load and returned my carts for me. Kudos to the team. Thanks!
I had asked for help finding something in the employee was busy so he told me the aisle that was on I made it to the aisle but still couldnt find what I was looking for and there happened to be an employee working on the aisle and they seemed aggravated that they had to take me directly to the spotwork was because I really couldnt see the item. And I had to be like I really cannot see it please point it out to me for them even show me.
I used to go to Home Depot daily as for my contracting business. This one is one of the worst!Theres a helpful guy in the plumping and electrical department. Other than that the staff aint recommended as friendly. Most the time things are up in storage instead being stacked on shelves when out.
Its not just a great place to buy big ticket home repair and renovation items. Its also like a convenience store to pick up small things. Low density, easy access to aisles, and most importantly they have a wider variety of things that arent carried elsewhere. Then very very short wait at the checkout counter. If youre a repeat shopper and have already opted in to email receipts, it remembers you and it is one click purchasing with electronic records sent to your email.
I had such a great experience at this Home Depot. Its out of my way a bit, but I had to rent a texture machine and this was the one closest to me that had one to rent. The phone experience was good, I was able to find all the info I needed and put a hold on the machine. I picked it up from a very friendly man at tool rental who advised on everything I needed as well as carried everything to my car. I see this store has high reviews, and from my experience I see they deserve them.
If you are ordering something here, which will be delivered as-installed, make sure to check everything and also make sure that theyare shipping the all-good item. I got a grill with rusty grill grates and interior. While they still have good-condition grills of same model in stock.
The store itself is fine. But delivery needs work.I paid $75 for delivery of a toilet and they just dumped it on the driveway. Never rang the door bell. I was left to find a second person to lift it as it was too heavy for me. If I had wanted to move it myself, I would have driven to the store and not paid the money. Complete waste. They also suggested same day service when it was more than a week. But thats likely a COVID thing, but reinforces the lack of a service mentality to be that delayed and just dump it when it finally arrived.
All comes down to the people in a place like this. Everything cant be bought local (yet) and why not have the dedicated Texans who help keep this place open and the rest of us working. I saw demonstrative acts of kindness during the winter deep freeze and the EMPLOYEES earned my business forever.
I visit the place quite often, it is close to home. Sometimes I need to look for things a bit, but I almost find what I want. Also the personnel at entrance and reception is quite welcoming/pleasant. On the negative side they refused me a credit card even though i was accepted many other places including Lowes. On the positive side they have some good prices: i recently bought ceiling registers which were at same price as on Amazon.
Its a Home Depot. It has all the home improvement products you need and even more you didnt know you needed.I went to get replacement florescent tubes. I found out they have equivalent LED tubes at a fantastic price that use less power and have a longer life than the original type. Nice.I also needed spray paint. An employee asked what type I needed, asked questions about what I was painting, and recommended a specific type. I used it with fantastic results.Home Depot for the win. Again.
Absolutely knows how-to please customer to be happy of shop at this four points location. I am a pro-member for nearly 20yrs of this location. I recently had problem w/ concrete bags were bad on me. I spoke to the old skinny person at customer service desk but he ignored my concern completely. Talk to friends and colleagues and they recommended me to speak to manager named “CHARLES” a few weeks later. After showed proof to Charles and without any hesitation and he replacing these few bad bags.I would like to thanks Charles to make me feel that Home Depot care. Home Depot lucky to have you and customer like me alway happy to have you. Thank you!
Upon reaching the self check-out station, I was just informed by the store manager that, despite my non-contagious breathing ailment, I was “required to wear a face mask”. I explained my situation and he informed me, “That doesn’t matter. I require masks.” I asked if I was being asked to leave and he told me, “You have the option to shop here. Do what you think you need to do.” He repeated this three more times before stating, “I can’t make it clearer than that.” I disagree. He could not have made it more murky. Of course, he stopped short of trespassing me from the property and risking a lawsuit. If you have a breathing ailment, I would not patronize this store. I NEVER will again. Good job Mr. Manager. Alienate and discriminate against your customers. You are correct, we have options.
5-1-20, I pull into the parking lot by the garden center and observe at least 4 people walk in as I was approaching and was stopped by an employee ( older gentlemen, maybe has demincha) telling me this is an exit only, I inform him 4 other people have walked thru here and he procceded with attitude telling me Im wrong and that never happened and continues with his power trip saying I dont have time to argue with you and walks off. This treatment is uncalled for and will not buy another item from this store. Maybe I will be better treated taking my business to Lowes
Ive been going to this Home Depot for a while, and they are always so nice and understanding of my home projects. The staff is well informed, they offer great advice, they offer to cut things to your specs, and they sell you exactly what you need. I will continue to shop here for all of my home improvement needs!
This is the only home Depot I will go to in Austin. The staff is all solid and have repeatedly shown they know what theyre talking about. Other thds and Lowes in the area barely have any help on the floor and I find help whenever I need it here, excepting any occasional huge sales like Black Friday. Management is super friendly as well and anything Ive brought up has been addressed with urgency. Cristy is especially helpful. I dont even order online anymore, I go to their pro services counter and have them do it so they can actually watch to make sure corporate is going things right. Never really had a problem with an item being out either, their stock people are really consistent.
Awful customer service. Store refused to exchange light bulbs. The light bulbs was thesame brand, same price, same size, same manufacture, it was exactly thesame except one was bright light and the other was soft light. The store refused to exchange it and insisted that I return and buy another one. But will take 3 business days for the money to return back to my card. I told the guy I had no other money to buy light bulb but he didnt care. So I went home and wait in darkness for three days for my money to return to my card before I can buy another light bulbs. Still in darkness. Wicked store.
I have to take a moment to commend the staff there today. I was shopping there this afternoon and the service was awesome already always someone around to offer assistance with a good attitude. After I was done shopping I dropped my wallet with 90 dollars cash, debit card, credit cards, and important work identification cards inside it. Came back 2 hours later when I realized it was missing and someone found it in the parking lot and turned it in. Everything was inside as it should have been. Tried to leave a reward and they would not accept it. The point is there are a lot of good people still left in this world. Thank y’all so much. It was about to be a terrible pain in the ass to get all of that stuff replaced. Thanks again😎
This review is not specifically for the Four Points HD but is directed at the warranty company that HD is contracted with to provide in home appliance warranty service. I purchased an $850 KitchenAid Dishwasher 3 years ago and decided to spend the additional $150 for the HD 5 year warranty. If I had known that HD was not the company actually providing the warranty, I would not have spent the extra money. Three years later all of the wheels start falling off the bottom rack of the machine. After 5 fell off I call in to HD for service and they have someone drive out to my house and take pictures. I find out 2 days later - only by calling back to HD - That my claim was denied. Apparently the bottom rack of the Dishwasher is not an essential component. I called HD again and explained how the lack of wheels makes the Dishwasher almost unusable especially when the rack is fully loaded. They are sending another service person out to look at it again. HD says it should be covered if I didn’t do anything to damage the unit. The only thing I did was wash dishes so we will see how this goes. In the meantime 3 more wheels fell off leaving only 1! Now the rack doesn’t slide out at all - we have to lift it up and set it down in the unit which is a tricky maneuver when loaded with dishes. I think HD needs to reevaluate their choice of warranty company or at least let the consumer know that their warranty company will do everything in their power to deny your claim. At this point they have wasted more money on trips to my house then they would have spent fixing the problem. I will update after I have final resolution from HD and the warranty company.Update - After calling HD again they arranged to have another technician come out to take a look at the dishwasher. Today the last of the wheels fell off making it almost impossible to pull the dishes out after washing. We almost lost a whole load of plates on the floor. On the upside - the technician called me and asked me to take pictures of everything so he didn’t have to drive all the way here without the parts. He let me know that parts are ordered and on the way. He will come out and install once they arrive. Update to follow...Final Update - I received the parts for the dishwasher and replaced them myself. This was an easy fix that could have been resolved in the first place if we hadn’t wasted time sending technicians out to take pictures and try to deny my claim. I am sure these parts cost way less than the service call. I think Home Depot intervened with the warranty company to get them to do the right thing so I am changing my rating to 4 stars. Thanks HD for making this right.
Great service at this store. But my main point to this review is to correct what another reviewer had stated. This store does honor Military Veterans by presenting us with a discount. I show them my retired military ID, and there has never been an issue. And to the previous reviewer, if you WERE retired, then you would know you have an ID card. You were trying some scam. Shame on you for trying to portray as a veteran.
For the most part, Home Depot has everything I need for home DIY improvement and repairs. The only issue I have is that HD Corporate does not allow me to pay my, now cancelled, HD Account balance with my business credit card. My business credit card helps me manage purchases, while a HD commercial account provided certain discounts and perks. I wanted to take advantage of the discounts while paying the balance off with my business card. I discovered this caveat the hard way. Sadly, I cancelled my HD account; I manage my business purchases in a way that works for me, and like HD, this is an area of my small operation that is not flexible. Im sure HD Corporate has their reasons. But they would not share them with me. They were rather matter-of-fact about it, which is fine. I simply take a portion of my business elsewhere. This is the reason I removed a Star with my review. I still like HD, a lot.
This has always been my go-to Home Depot for all things tools, paint, hardware, lumber, you name it. I have been going to this location for the last 7-10 years and cannot remember a negative experience. As far as I can tell, the store is always clean and the employees are always very helpful.
I cannot recall such a rude and inflexible attitude before at Home Depot as I did today. I attempted to use the Home Depot store credit that my wife gave to me on the way out the door to Home Depot. Due to a new policy, they no longer allow *anyone* to use the store-issued return credit other the the *exact* individual who received it (even spouse/someone else on same account). In this case, I had the card in my possession, the item was originally purchased with a credit card in my name, same last name and wife on the phone. Manager still said no. Rude and unapologetic and completely unreasonable. There was absolutely no attempt to accommodate or find a solution. This new policy in this day and age is unacceptable. Being in Real Estate, I will take my business elsewhere until they come up with a better system (and attitude). Be advised: If you must shop at Home Depot and do a return, when they offer you the choice of a credit back on your purchase method (e.g your credit card) or a orange Home Depot store credit card, youre better off having the credit issued back to your own method of payment. The orange store credit card is hardly worth the plastic it is printed on.
We have had a horrible experience with the Home Depot at Four Points. We purchased a dryer on 3-24-17 and had to wait 3 days for delivery. when the dryer showed up and was installed it did not work. We have been given the run around and still to date do not have a dryer. I recommend all who read this to take your business else where. Home Depot has been paid in full but yet we have no dryer. We will forever take the little bit further drive and shop at Loews.
Usually, this store is great.Today, however, they would not return my riding lawn mower. Why? Because I bought it at another store. This is no joke: they made me drive 30 minutes to go to the Home Depot I bought a riding lawn mower at. Ive never heard of this kind of crap.On top of that, they were completely unresponsive to my plights to reach out to the other store or a district manager to make sure that this was Home Depots policy.
Exceeds expectations! The culture here is one of service and customer focus. Each time, it does not take long for a HD representative to ask if you need help. They dont just tell you where to go...they take you there and even offer to take oversized items up front. Couldnt ask for better service. Thanks guys! Kudos because good service starts at the top!!
I was being far too generous with 4 stars in my first review. Im here.....a lot and time and time again I see and experience completely unhelpful employees. EXCEPT a lovely girl named Erin. i just bought a display patio table with 6 chairs Im a 125lb woman and Erin and I had to load and tetris the whole operation while not 1 not 2...3 but 4 guys stood and watched and admired my truck. I then drove to the end of the parking lot and redid the whole thing. Erin 5 stars the rest....pass Ill stick to the one in cedar park where they have manners.
Great example of big business not taking local initiative.I ordered a ventless dryer (made for locations without the ability to vent hot humid air outside which causes water to be collected and drained from the dryer). Home Depot arranged delivery and installation. The dryer was delivered and installed however, the installer had never dealt with a ventless dryer and didnt install it correctly which caused water to drain on the floor. I called Home Depot and went to the store that I purchased the dryer and told them that water was coming out of the dryer and running under the wall to another room. Home Depot told me that theyd get the manufacturer (LG) to send someone out, a week later I went back to HD and nothing had been done. I have to use the dryer as it is in a hair salon and we wash and dry towels all day so I found where the dryer was draining water, it was a small tube that looked as if it was meant to drain water to a drain so I attached a 1/4 clear tube to it and directed it to the drain... When the original installers came back to look at the issue they said it was installed incorrectly but they couldnt fix it (even though they installed it incorrect) because I had modified it and therefore the warranted was void!!! Seriously, I attached a clear tube to a discharge pipe so the water wouldnt pour on the floor! There was no modification. Here is the unbelievable part... Home Depot said that because of my modification (the tube could be pulled off in literally 1 second) they couldnt have the original installers (people they hired and paid and who admitted to installing it incorrectly) go back and take 10 minutes to install it correctly, they would however have a new dryer delivered and installed at no charge. To me its a great example of why we cant compete with other countrys, a complete lack of accountability and no local ownership. By the way, that dryer was just under $1,000.00, money wasted by Home Depot.
I find this location nice, if you know what you are looking for. Its always dead in here, the parking is amazing since there is no one there. If you need help doing stuff that can cause a problem. The customer service is pretty poor here. I tried to get a key redone because the first one was not pushed into the machine all the way, giving it an incorrect key. The return lady (which I had the receipt and pointed out the flaw) said that it happens with painted keys..... uhhhh then dont sell painted keys? None the less annoying that shes just rude and clearly doesnt know what products they are selling. Never had a key issue painted or not.
Home Depot went the second mile to make a loyal customer! We purchased over $1k in merchandise with a scheduled delivery date in 3 days. Received a call the day before our expected delivery from the shipping company - would be an additional two weeks for the delivery because of the backlog from the high demands stemming from Houstons Harvey floods. We called the store and they offered a loaner free of charge until the purchased units arrived. Thank you Heidi! Thank you Christi!
We go there often, and buy a lot. I tried to pick up a Christmas gift and they wouldnt release it without my drivers license. One clerk said ok and the other refused and sent me away. They wouldnt accept a credit card with my name and photo, badge with name and photo, email confirmation, order number, credit card I purchased the gift... Eventhough I had all of the listed items. Got my ID and they looked at it for 1 second. Thats it! You dont need a drivers license to order a gift or ship a package. They should accept any photo ID and not be rude to their customers.
Tried to buy appliances here. Before I left the order desk I noticed the zip code was wrong. The salesman, John Little, said he would fix it in the system that night so it wouldnt be a problem.3 weeks later, 2 days off work to wait for the delivery windows, 2 store visits, 7 phone calls later and I still dont have my appliances nor do I know when /if I will ever get them.
Wow, reading the reviews below Im surprised. I thought this was a nice little HD. I went with my kids, was greeted promptly and courteously, was helped in several sections by several conscientious workers, etc. They had what I needed, and had a little car thingie for my kids to ride in that was attached to a shopping cart. A very positive experience for me!
Melony Paine I believe is the district manager and I am told that she is unable to speak with customers and that they will not give her number out. That is a shame because your store management is not trained well enough to do their job and when you cannot get help with a problem as a customer then you have to go up the ladder and when that doesnt work you take your business else where. I have a quote for flooring for a 3700 plus square foot house that you are going to lose the deal on. I also just had new counter tops put into my kitchen. I am amazed at the level of apathy your management teams shows. Especially at the 620 location and in Lakeline. Basically your employees just do not care what happens.
This store doesn’t honor not veterans with the advertised veterans discount. I started checking out with David Culp and George Dollaway came over and interrupted us. He then kept asking me for my military ID Card. I tried to explain that Retired military DON’T have ID cards. We have DD 214 and separation papers. I kept trying to show him those to him and he would not even look at them. He rudely ranted about wanting to see my Military ID card and would not listen to anything I had to say. He constantly interrupted me. Your checker David Culp even looked shocked. As a shareholder of Home Depot stock I am completely disappointed with this mans behavior towards veterans. The Veterans Affairs will be made aware of this mans behavior towards veterans.
I get great deals some staff is ok some staff dont care if your a long term costumer Ive lived in the area for 36 years Ive built two homes in the area i spent 1000 dollars for Christmas at home depot and the loading zone is a nightmare not one thank you for being a good costumer you should be nice to people if they spend a dollar at your store

2022-04-29Ive been to a lot of bad home depots. This is definitely not one of them. These people are always so helpful and so considerate. Ive been working through a few home projects and my kid loves coming with me to this home depot. The greeter is the nicest guy and the people working the register are so kind and helpful. When I need something it is so easy to find help. Its really not hard to be a regular to this location. Everything is in fact...awesome

2022-07-20Ordered a fridge and a stove for delivery. Wait was over a month. Delivery driver claimed to have come by our home. We have cameras and two very loud dogs. No delivery attempt was made. Happened twice. Customer service after multiple 20 to 46 min holds could only reschedule as early as two weeks out. Horrible customer service.

2022-03-17This particular store does not have it together. The Pro Desk typically doesnt have trained personal after 3 pm. If you are wanting to have material delivered you should be willing to let the trucking company cancel on you no less than three times before they finally deliver. I wont even go down the road of trying to return an item. Let me just say it is a real pain to attempt to return anything. If you have to make a large purchase do it at a different Home Depot. You will be much better off if there is a problem down the road

2022-06-20Woke up early to look for flowers for my garden. The greenery area for house plants smelt like plants rotting. Be careful with mosquitoes in that section. I usually enjoy my quiet mornings there and the head cashier spent 15 minutes in a temperment with an associate upset about a broken chair that was beyond his control as if he was the one to blame. It seemed she was in a bad mood and finding every opportunity to take it out on the employee. It made for a bad shopping experience today! Unprofessional and unkind of an older employee scolding the young man where everyone can hear it from a distance. Take her off the schedule in the morning! 8:17 a.m.

2022-04-21Long time Lowes fan, but this HD is one the best home improvement stores I have been too. This store is super clean too. Service is always amazing at this location and items are in-stock. Made me stop going to Lowes :)

2022-02-05Horrible service. I placed a large order to be delivered the following day. I was given a 14 hour delivery time frame. After 8 hours I decided to call just to make sure it was still on the schedule. I was informed that they didn’t have delivery drivers. When I questioned why I didn’t receive a phone call, the employee stated “the trucks don’t drive themselves” (not answering my question) in a very arrogant manor. They gave me a 14 hour delivery window for the following day. It is now 7 hours in to the delivery schedule that is already a day late. I decided to place a follow up call to the store just to make sure I was on the days schedule. Again, the order has yet to leave the store.

2022-03-04I love my local Home Depot at 4-points location. Last week I called at 8:30p to place an order of a rigid tile cutter + additional cutting disc + husky tools for bathtub drainage removal and young gentlement named DJ was so helpful and patience. I came to pickup early the next morning and every thing was set aside w/ my name. The manager named Josh (I think) walked by and said thank you to me for doing business with his store.FYI, I am a resident near by and have been support my local Home Depot since they opened (oh my..around year 2000?) and there was a few years back there was a bad services for a few years but now it seem nice and helpful when I needed help on items.Thank you Home Depot at 4-points for service for customer well.

2021-12-13We have been shopping for new flooring for a few months now and have narrowed it down to Home Depot (and one other place) as an option due to the lifetime warranty you get if you purchase their product and use their installation services. We needed a few more samples to help us choose. I did not walk around with the please someone help me face because I was pretty confident that we were able to get two of the three samples that we were looking for ... yet one of their employees was kind enough to offer to help. The entire warehouse was clean and well organized so finding the samples was easy enough. An overall good experience at this location.
