The Home Depot in other cities:
We went in to pick up some Sheetrock have to get 26 of them loaded up we were told they would go ahead and help us we sat there and waited over 30 minutes waiting and then the gentleman has said he would help us out said it was going to be a while because he was helping another customer even though he was in the process of helping us. So we loaded them up ourselves then a contractor grabbed the wrong ones so we had to load up the 5/8 sheetrock which was heavier then once again it took a while to get help to get it loaded so hes just took it upon ourselves to get them loaded into a cart and brought up to the vehicle
Where Lowes fails Home Depot delivers. Went to both stores to find what I considered a fairly common part only to discover Lowes didnt stock it for some dumb reason. Home Depot however not only stocked the part but an entire product line for the entire system. I know where to go if more stuff starts breaking down.
Came in to get materials. Nothing but youg kids walking around doing nothing but talking and horsing around. When asked questions they dont know the answers.Needed assistance loading lumber and 3 young boys standing there doing nothing and would not help. I will not do business here again.
Love going there but today when I went the plants looks so sad and dehydrated some had diseases there were dead lefts on the floor it was just really sad to see the plants in that condition also on top of all that employees working in the garden center were swearing and not doing anything just walking around and on there phones😁
I really prefer Home Depot instead of Lowe’s the help is more for the customers instead of just the job. The lumber usually seems to be better Or maybe it’s just the good atmosphere the help give off. I can’t stand the way you have to get loaded and always takes forever. One time in the last two years it was loaded in under 20 minutes of waiting and I was shocked it was that quick. Of course both place need a better loading dock kinda like how the producers coop loads there feed out where ya back to a dock and get loaded out
Well I couldnt get no one on the phone so I had to go to the store. When I got to the store no one could actually tell me if they had the part I needed. Went to appliances because it was for an appliance and they sent me to plumbing. They arent very educated there. Will not be back.
The associates at our local branch helped me cut, carry, and pay for some lumber I needed to fix my moms kitchen cabinets. I knew I was at the right place when the math skills of the cutter where perfect and on point. The cabinets went back together great. A job I couldnt do by myself!
I prefer going here to Lowes because I tend to find what ever Im looking for here, after going to Lowes anyway. Its sometimes easier to get help at Lowes than it is here but the customer service is still very nice here. The associates here just seem to be younger folks that have less home improvement experience than their older counterparts which can make communicating what youre looking for a little more difficult than it is with an older person who has actual experience in home improvement. Ive also noticed that I get through the checkout process a lot faster at Lowes than I do here because they have a smaller staff which is kind of annoying. More associates means happier customers.
I go hete a the time and spend alot for my nob and use a check i was treated like i was trash i had to buggy i was inline signing a check they pushed my buggys away like my check wasnt going go through they had a very nasty additude i go to this lication cause i take my dad to diaylise 3 times a week and its more convent for me ive never been treated this bad thet even followed me outside i will never visisted this location ill have to just go to huntsville then to get treated the way yal allow employees to treat. Customers
I really enjoy shopping at home depot but the store has been lazy in following city guidelines regarding the use of facemasks. Not only am i seeing customers without them but Im also seeing employees not using them properly. And dont worry Home Depot. Ill still do my shopping there as your store is waaaaaay better than your low-er competition.
Today was my first big shopping trip w/ my new son and w/o my hubby. I brought paint to match and the first guy that helped me was super nice, but I didnt get his name. He was younger with dark hair and was on shift before Aaron. After he made my paint, I asked if he carried these red spout/covers for paint cans. He said he hadn’t heard of them. But instead of just dismissing it, he actually went and double checked. And sure enough he had them. So kudos to him for going the extra mile! ...So, after I purchased my paint and spout thingies, I carried all that and the stroller out to my car with my screaming son. Of course when I was fumbling about, I dropped BOTH cans and they spilled all over the parking lot AND the stroller tumbled into the paint puddle. *cries* Then took my son back in and told the customer service desk my plight. Lori and Joe were so helpful and even ensured I could take fresh cans home at no extra charge. At this time, Aaron was on shift in the paint center and was so nice and helpful. And also recommended I could use mineral stuff to get the oil paint out of the splattered stroller. He even helped me carry everything up front. Lori was my cashier and she got my son to finally stop crying. And she helped me get a buggy out this time. So thank you so much to Joe, Lori, Aaron and pre-Aaron paint guy! You made a bad night out much much better! ( Also Im sorry about your parking lot :( )
We ordered a complete kitchen of cabinets for a remodel project. We paid for the items as well as installation. When cabinets were delivered one was missing and another was the wrong size plus some trim was not there. After scheduling installation a third time, installation was started but that was when the wrong sized base cabinet was here. I ordered the correct cabinet and drove in to pick it up. The installer overheated and didn’t finish the trim work. No one seems to know what is going on and everything is someone else’s fault. Feels more like a self-help project instead of the expected contracted project.
Went to buy a pressure washer and immediately had an associate ask if we needed help. Got it down, took it to checkout n got help to load it for us. They always have workers who are willing to answer questions or help find something. Lowes never has people where needed n when paged no one shows up. Home depot takes care of you n if they cant, they find someone who can.
I went today to get 2 flowers and some potting soil. I paid for my items and walked back through the store to go through the garden center. I wasnt expecting an employee to scream across the parking lot if I paid for my items. I held up my receipt and said do you want to see it? She shook her head yes, but get this... she stayed right by the garden center and didnt come any further. I told her if you want to see it, then you can come out here. One of the cart guys came over and looked at it... guess what? It was paid for. I didnt appreciate her yelling across the parking lot like I stole something and she wasnt about to come out and check. I understand people steal, but there are appropriate ways of going about this. Home Depot, please train your people to not be JERKS! I will not come back to this store again... I was a frequent buyer.
I wish I could give a more detailed description beyond its Lowe’s with a slightly different layout. I find the world wants me to compare the two Walmart’s of the DIY, but it really just comes down to who has the best local selection, and what is the most convenient to drive to. This store is utterly average in comparison to local equivalent retailers. I am uncomfortable with the need to switch up organization of the store layout to help to individualize their identity, but I find they often have interesting access to plants other stores don’t have. If I really want something weird… I expect to hunt for it, but at Home Depot, I will often find a gem without really trying. I would say this store’s staff is not as knowledgeable in their individual departments as other equivalent retailer, but also not horrible.
Home Depot College Station Texas was scheduled to deliver a washer and dryer between 12:30 & 4:30 today 11/16/2021. Called at 4:30 to check status for delivery. Was told Home Depot called at 2pm to deliver w/d and tried to deliver at 2:30. They NEVER called and NEVER tried to deliver. What we were told is a LIE! A LIE! Someone needs to be held accountable! LIARS!!
Ordered new toilet for home delivery. paid for delivery on Oct 28th, arrived store on Oct 27th. today is Oct 29th. still no toilet. customer service said the store did not want to deliver due to no employees? I asked then why did I get charged delivery fees? So was told they will deliver sometime in Nov. why promise a date and not fulfill. If no product by Monday, will cancel order and start shopping at Lowes. same price better service.
I tried purchasing 5 sets of batteries from Home Depot’s website under the special of the day offer. The price kept changing when the product was added to the cart. I spoke with a customer service associate through the txt message help feature who was no help. Later that day I spoke with another individual through the websites chat feature that argued with me saying it was not possible for him to honor the advertised price because Home Depot does not honor screenshot pictures of the product that I wanted to purchase. He then put me on hold for quite some time and connected to with another associate that would not honor the price and ended the chat session in the middle of the conversation. Long story short, Home Depot has lost my business forever and I would highly recommend everyone check your online purchases to make sure your price does not change when adding products to your cart. Every associate that I dealt with was rude and refused to help me starting an argument rather than helping a customer. If a price is advertised on your website, it should be honored. I have pictures of the entire chat conversation that I will be sending to the Home Depot corporate email
Another Home Depot. The staff is decent. The stock is good for indoors. However, their outdoor garden area is a bit rough. Plants tumbled over, not well organized, not kept up nicely, and more than a few were underwatered. The disorganization in that regard is perennial enough to cost a star. So 4 stars is fair I believe.
I had a wonderful experience here today. Steven in lumber was extremely helpful and went way above and beyond with his customer service. This location is way better than the Lowe’s in Bryan and up will be highly recommending this location and Steven to everyone I know!
Wish there were zero stars. Terrible terrible operations at this store. I have had numerous issues at this store, all of them during back to back visits. The employees that are suppose to be providing customer service at the customer service side are extremely rude and lack basic skills to operate customer service based job. This is not just from one visit.I have on many occasions been signaled to keep moving towards their cash registers when attempting to check out 1-3 items. This is no way to communicate with your customers, and frankly is unacceptable. The store is laid out so terribly the main entrance is on one end and exit on entirely other end. The exit is basically near what is designated pro area which is always busy, blocked by trails, trucks, people loading. A consumer can put up with these things, because we are use to it but what I refuse to put up with is shear lack of care for customer service and the rudeness that is on display at their customer service both, I experienced this three times over the past two days I have visited this store. It is unacceptable & quite frankly Im surprised this is allowed to happen. Will be cutting up my Home Depot cc for sure! After this last visit.
The store itself is nice, just like any other Home Depot location, however, the staff for the most part are unhelpful and even in some instances, rude. I’ve been multiple times since moving here and every time I go, I’m always surprised by the blatant lack of helpfulness or, if you do manage to get someone’s attention for help, the rush they’re obviously in to be on their way and doing something else. Customer service seems put out when asked to help or to process a return. Even the store pickup dude was rude and dismissive when I picked up an order. Basically just threw the large item in my trunk and walked away, saying nothing. Not exactly a welcoming experience.
This store is usually my second choice after the Lowes store not having what I need. The only reason being that the Lowes store usually has a slightly better selection. They have decent customer service and things are usually pretty easy to find. Best place to buy good Stanley tape measures.
Came from out of town and I have to say, I love this Home Depot. I was doing some cabinet work and needed a few things and decided to pay them a visit instead of the blue box. The clean store from the parking lot caught my eye first. They had what I needed and the service was great. And to top it off, everyone had on a mask 👍🏾
Ms. Sonia is the most deserving a MVP, every time I have been to garden center she went above and beyond to help with the product, plants selection, the reason I choose Lowe’s over Home Depot is the exceptional customer service by Ms. Sonia. If anyone need any help with garden section please ask for Ms. Sonia. Ms. Sonia Display the cultural diversity and her interaction with customers to make them feel comfortable and to make them important.
The person who helped me in the light fixtures department was wonderful. He made sure I got the correct fixture for my use and took the time to explain why this would be the best choice. Very thorough. Much better than at the other place I visited, where, when I asked for help, I was pointed to the general area where I should look.
Washer died, so we went shopping there for one. Found a cheap one, but it was not available. All others had to be ordered. Sam helped us pick one that would be delivered in a few days. Sam was very nice and thorough. Overall, a very nice experience even though the one we got was more expensive.
Poor customer service. Needed some wood cut, asked 3 different workers. They all said theyd call for someone to come help. It took about 15 minutes for someone to finally come help. Today we asked for assistance to load 2 shelves onto a cart, no one showed up to help. So we loaded it ourselves. During checkout, we asked for someone to help load it into the truck. The cashier asked 2 other workers if they could help, but they just shrugged it off. So we ended up loading one of the shelves into the truck ourselves. After the cashier was able to get someone to watch the register, he helped us with the other one.
Hard to find employees to help find things, merchandise was not organized well and a lot of stuff was just laying all over the bottom shelf instead of on the hooks where they belong. Kind of messy, especially in the plumbing aisle with the sink and drain parts. Not the worst Home Depot Ive visited but definitely not the best either.
Clearly no one here wants to work. Everyone we talked to was incredibly rude and incompetent. We put in a order for fencing supplies online and went in store to pick it up. It was a lot of large heavy items, so part of the order was in the back and part of it was in the front. The woman behind the counter found a young man to help us - then they start yelling at each other and being snarky about having to pick up this order. After wasting a ton of time, we finally get all the wood and t posts loaded. They send us on our way. The second we get on the highway we realize we didnt get the 1,000 pounds of concrete we ordered. We immediately take an exit to turn around and I call the store to let them know we are coming back. Except, because they took their dang time getting us the wood, it was 9:03pm and they close at 9pm. My call gets directed to Gary, the manager of the store and I explain that we need our concrete (which we paid for online!). Gary then rudely tells me Well were closed up everyone gets out of here at 9. I responded, We are coming back for the concrete we already paid for and your employees made the mistake of not giving to us. They need to rectify the mistake. He feeds me some BS about how it wasnt their fault (which is ridiculous, they literally had one job - to give me my order I placed online). We pulled around the contractor canopy at 9:08pm and everyone my husband interacted with had an attitude with him. Not a single person apologized to us for forgetting a piece of our order or the mishap. Instead, these jacks acted like they were mad at us and it was our fault they didnt do their job.Could not have been a worse experience. Find a McCoys, Lowes, or Tactor Supply in the future. I will not be doing business here again.
The College Station store AND systems are very disorganized and dysfunctional. The store is like a dumpster with various aisles close, and the msi. Front area also full. Chaotic. Ordered lumber, verified they hadit, then the system said Brenhsm was fulfilling order. Brenhsm said no. Then college ststion lost the order, so we repeated it. Then it did not get delivered. Then they said they did not have. Then I cancelled but no refund except in person. So I calledlowes and in minutes ordered alternate, and delivered bext day. Lowes is leap yrs ahead of this Home Depot store
I give them props on these things:1) their house brand Husky tools are serious and the one time I broke one, they swapped it in store for me.2) they give a 10% military discounts, and I appreciate this level of respect and appreciation.3) Jim in their tool rental has the best attitude and customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. He deserves recognition.I would improve:1) the garden section. I find a much bigger selection at their competition. That being said: love em
They are out of what you are looking forSo you need to make an order, if it is incomplete and you don’t pick it up, because it is not complete, next day, it will be sold and they increase the priceIt is not fair, you already pay for the item and they sell it even Home Depot didn’t have the complete order
I bought a custom Steves and Sons door 1 year ago from my local Home Depot in College Station Texas. it was a custome built door that ordered and waited 6 weeks to receive. The cost on this door was over $3,500.00 and I came home yesterday and went to open my front door and the locking mechanism broke. It was a Rockwell Door Security system which I was told was one of the best. I called Steve and Sons Door company this morning and was told very rudely that my locking system was not under warranty and I would have to pay to have it fixed myself. I am appalled at the customer service from Steve & Sons which is located in San Antonio Texas. I would recommend that if your looking for a custom front door go elsewhere besides Home Depot and definitely DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM STEVES AND SONS DOORS.
My experience was irritating due to the lack of communication the staff had when I wanted some plywood to be cut.I waited 20 minutes to get one person to come by to cut me some wood with the Big Home Depot saw. When they finally cut the bigger pieces we moved on the the mini saw because I needed 1 little piece. It took another 10 minutes to get the mini saw ready for one piece that needed a more precise cut.It does not take 30 minutes to cut 4 pieces of plywood Home Depot. Train your staff on how to use the saws correctly
Very Clean , And organized , all the workers show interest in actually wanting to help and get live customers their best experience, what made me want to rate them a five star is the fact that as I walked out the store I was told “Thank you , Have a nice day , Be safe!” by at least 3 employees , Exceptional and outstanding Job Home Depot on training your employees to be courteous and polite to all customers!
All these box stores carry a lot of plants that do not grow well in Texas. Its like they want you to buy stuff thatll die so you will buy more plants. Then you think that you are bad with plants because they sell you stuff that needs more acidic soil or burns up in the summertime.
The store, itself, is a bit smaller than most and has a little bit less selection as a consequence. But, it has great service, from people who usually are more knowledgeable than most big box home centers. The tool rental department is particularly impressive. Several of those who work there have been there for years and are very knowledgeable and helpful.
If I could say thank you in every language know to man, I would say them all to Bree, the phenomenal customer service provider at the College Station location. She understood we had a deadline and surpassed all possible expectations from helping us find the items we needed to making sure there were notes in the computer for what I was coming back and picking up the next day. Not all employees are the same, sometimes you find that there are those who take pride in what they do, and who they work for. This store is lucky because they have 2 employees that I know of, Bree and Nelson (tool rental) who are prime examples of those who give stellar professional performances day in and day out. Thank you again Bree, and thank you Home Depot.
I love Home Depot. I shop here for all of my tools. I use Rigid tools for the lifetime warranty. I like the layout of this store. They always have amazing sales here. I bought a sliding compound miter saw that is usually around $600 for $250. I also bought a husky 62 tool box for $500 instead of $800. These workers are older and have a good bit of knowledge for your projects.
I asked for a piece of lumber cut to a certain length. An employee measured and cut it and I didnt think to check the length of the cut after it was made. I paid for the lumber and after realizing that it wasnt the correct length I went back to the store to ask if I could exchange it for a piece cut to the correct length. Turns out they dont return cut lumber (which is a fair policy for many reasons), but they should have just done the right thing and exchanged it for a piece cut to the appropriate size.Guess Ill just have to buy a miter saw from Lowes that I can use to cut my own lumber (which I will also buy from Lowes).
I went to this Home Depot to pick up some mini sprinklers for my couch, and I have to say, the service was excellent. My biggest complaint about this store however is how poorly the staff members appear to treat poor Forklift-kun. Forklift-kun deserved to be loved for all of his hard work too you know!
Absolutely hate coming here but sometimes it’s the most convenient, being I work off Harvey. I always feel very unwelcome here, which I’m sure has to do with the darker pigment of my skin. First time I went an employee got loud with me just cause I was a Little unsure of the exact nut size I needed so I just told him to forget and walked off. I ended up just going to autozone to get, which took 5 minutes with some assistance. Second time yesterday went to get some pvc fittings and the cashier just looked like she hated her job and just made me feel like a burden by checking out there. This place definitely needs some customer service training. From now on I will just drive the extra miles to go to Lowe’s.
I have been a Home Depot shopper for many years, but I have never had an experience like the one I had last Thursday evening. My wife and I went in looking for a Umbrella for our deck and were asked if we need any help by a gentlemen named Tyler. He was the most helpful employee I have ever dealt with to the point that I almost bought everything he was excited to tell me about. My wife said that even though she does not like going with me to Home Depot that she would definitely go there if he was going to be the one to help her. He finished by helping us load the umbrella and base into the car after we had made the purchase. Definitely the best customer service I have ever seen.
Its what you expect from a hardware store. Has everything you would need, selection is decent for most things but limited if you want something slightly more specific. Lumber here is quite a bit pricier than it should be, but that may be due to increased demand for project supplies during the pandemic.
Came here to pick up a few things since I was in town and wanted to check this location. There was an item that wasnt available at my local Home Depot in Houston so I figured I might as well try. Anyway, I was happily surprised when I got what I needed! I was able to find it easily because of the app, but I guess it wouldnt have been so bad without it. Either way, I think having the Home Depot app is great. Its pretty accurate (not always) when it comes to inventory, which I appreciate.
My husband and I went in to buy ply wood, asked for help and were pointed down the wrong aisle. Then as the two of us were struggling to get it off the shelf ourselves none of the guys standing around offered to help. As we were checking out and leaving they did not ask us if we needed help taking it to the truck, we ended up having another customer in the parking lot offer to help us. Terrible customer service. I called the manager to complain after we left and he apologized and assured me it would be corrected and that that is not how they do business, but after reading a lot of other reviews it seems it is in fact how they do business. They really need to step it up at this location.
I ordered a dishwasher on December 2, 2019 with a delivery date of December 26th. I got a phone call and delivery date was moved to January 21, 2020. Well today is January 21 . Took off work for delivery. I had not received any phone call or email of delivery time so I called . The lady told me my dishwasher was not delivered to the store and my delivery date is now Feburary 1st . Im so disappointed in their customer service about not calling or emailing me a few days prior that it is delayed. Very, very upset its 2 months of waiting and not having a dishwasher!!! I should have bought my dishwasher elsewhere, so I would not have had to wash dishes by hand for 2 months!! Not happy with Home Depot!!!!
We were trying to buy the floor model because they didnt have anymore in the Box of a Christmas trees and there was no discount or anything. The manager was extremely rude and just kept saying over and over again is sold as is it sold as is.Maybe as is but its also full price no deal.
Worst experience ever. When me and my family were about to do self check out, we needed some help with using store credt. Lady who works here came over without a mask and told us you need to move 6 feet away from me, again Without wearing a mask. Our family were all wearing masks. If you are so strict about CDC guideline why were you not wearing a mask? Also when that lady went over to other customer she did not tell other customer to stay away from her. Why is that? Is it because we were asian and other customer was not? This hateful action of an ignorant worker here gave me the worst experience of homedepot and will never use this location again
As with all the home depot stores it seems as if few people actually work there. I see them walking around or standing near others in orange smocks yet they dont seems to actually work for the store.Selection, again, as with other stores seems to be different than what they show online, which makes knowing if they have what you need virtually impossible, since it may show 10 in stock online however in the store the employee (when one is finally found) doesnt think they carry that item. At which point they literally go to the same website you are on and say hmm well it says we have 10, wonder where they are at?
When you purchase something online and it is to be picked up in store and you drive to the store to pick up your purchased item only to find out that your purchase is out of stock, they dont have it. A phone call would have been nice considering I was short on time and had two toddlers with me. Now I will be waiting 3-5 business days to get the refund back onto my bank card. So I will now have $300 tied up for a few days and Christmas is less than 2weeks away. Appreciate the headache Home Depot.
Shout out to two employees here - Diamond and Ricky (hope Im getting the names correct) I was looking for a very specific drill and they had some in stock but werent on the shelves yet. They looked around the steel and found the pallet containing the drill I wanted and got it for me. They put a good amount of time into finding it. That level of customer service is getting harder to find nowadays.
I shop there at least twice a month, today 5.15. 20 around 1 oclock pm was the bad day. I was refused to check out by a big darker skin lady in her 30th cause I bought 2 pieces 70%off damaged wood with many other stuff she threw a look at me like I was a cheater and said I cant do that then I asked her to call 121 the guy who marked it 70%off for me she refused, came a nice young lady to help me out to directed me to another cashier to check out.
Donna may just be one of the rudest managers I have ran across in my lifetime. If I didnt perfer home depot to lowes so much they wouldnt see my 5k-10K a month in business. Donna just needs a few vocacional classes on customer service and I think she could be an actual asset to the company instead of what she is now, which is misguided, rude, and self-righteous. See you next week.
Purchased a Christmas tree online from store #6559. I did this to avoid Black Friday, so I picked it up on Saturday. They were still super busy, but, they were fully staffed & all the employees were helping the customers with a smile....love going there for that reason!! Thank you Service desk & Bill Shirk!!!
My husband and I was in the store to purchase some lumber for our raised gardens and also 1 cedar board 3/4×4×8. We ask for assistant for this cedar board, two young men come to assist and left never to return. Barely said a word to us. Never told us what they were going to do, just left and never returned. Waited 15 minutes. They lost a $150.00 sale because of bad customer service. Never will shop here again.
I have never been disappointed in a Home Depot but I went there on Monday and I purchased a zero turn mower the customer service was very poorly with knowledge ended up calling the store manager I was interested in this one more he was trying to sell me another mower then I went back on Wednesday because the manual that I had for the mower that I had purchased was in Spanish and I dont know how to speak Spanish and I dont know how to read it the customer service is very friendly about getting me a manual then I wanted to go look at the mower I noticed the tire for the low and that the hourly meter on the mower had 99.6 hours and its supposed to be a brand new mower so people watch out if youre buying a mower from this home beat Depot to look at the hourly meter before purchasing on today Saturday I went ahead and canceled it because I wasnt going to buy a mower that had a hundred almost a hundred hours on it
I’ve always loved Home Depot but the employee Sydney makes me never wanna go back. We asked four different employees if we could have someone help us in the carpet area. They called her over the intercalm and work phone several times. 15 mins later she finally showed up. We picked the carpet we wanted and without saying a word, she answered her phone and walked away. She came back 10 mins later. No apology. We told her we needed a 2x4 ft. She cuts it then hands it to us saying we have to purchase a 12x2ft AFTER she already cut it. She could of said that before. We said no and left. Very disrespectful employee.
STILL WAITING FOR THE STORE MANAGER TO RETURN MY CALL TO DISCUSS: Is it common knowledge that a plunger is not a refundable purchase, even if theres no sign posted with that notice? I thought I would see about a better plunger for my house. There are plenty of common plain ole plungers, but I thought the one priced twice as much as the others must be some special plunger -- Korky, it was. Not only was it not better, it was not as good as the cheaper models. (The rubber bell shape is too thick, and doesnt flex easily, so it makes an unnecessary mess flexing up and down.) I had the sense to test it on a clean toilet, and found it a bad product. When I returned it, with a receipt, for a refund, the cashier made a phone call and reported back that the plunger was some kind of sanitary issue and couldnt be returned. Again, THERE WAS NO SIGN AT THE PLUNGERS SAYING THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE. Am I wrong to have this expectation, given the prevailing mercantile practice in so many stores in the country? I am reinforced in my opinion that its good there is more than one big-box home improvement store around. One more reason not to do business with The Home Depot if it can be helped at all.
Every time I hear Forklift-kun roar his mighty engine I just want to get on my hands and knees and beg him to fork me.Its a shame hes put to work so often that we cant get private time together. I know he would enjoy our time together as much as I would!I think my ex-girlfriend left me because she was jealous of our incredibly intimate bond. But it was worth it to get forked like a champ!
My husband went in yesterday payed for 34 sheets of ply wood. He only took 20 sheets home add it was pretty late. Went in this morning and was told that they had been sold to someone. Not even apologizing, the only thing that was said that more sheets would be order and arrive on Tuesday. This was very unprofessional and unethical. The worst customer service Ive experienced ever.
Worst place to buy wood floors! The assistant manager is so rude with the customers. I wanted to change the floors I ordered, and because of that they charged me 500 hundred dollars! I am not going to come back again never!! I found more nice floors in Lowes! Best service, best prices.
Horrible customer service! Walked around trying to find a representative to help cut some carpet padding- no one to be found. Called the direct line, the woman stated she would page someone to my location. Twenty-five minutes later, no one is still here. Ill just take my business elsewhere.
Horrible experience. I spend 20k a year at he. Utilize many locations. This one here customer service beyond unacceptable. My policy is make your customers feel welcome and appreciated. A hello and good morning costs nothing. Management needs to sit down staff and reeducate.
Ive been going to this location for years. They are one of the only ones in the area but they do have great service. I dont think Ive been there in that and then not have something that Im looking for. Stay well stocked on all fronts probably because of the large amount of construction in the area at the time of this post. They are also very easy going on the price matching.
HD has successfully improved over the past 4 years. The morale here is much better. I am starting to enjoy HD more than Lowes again. Some of the aisles, ie: power tools, saws, etc are cramped. It feels like 5 aisles of product crammed into 2.5 aisles. Garden section is nice. Check out in the Garden Center flows well. Check out inside the store is a mess. Doesnt flow well.
Not very happy with the rental....i rent from you all the time and have records to prove it....i went in and rented a septic rotto rooter and i rented it for 4 hr....but only used it for two hours bc it wasnt doing the job i needed. I went in to see if i could get the bigger one for 60 instead after using the other one for just 2 hrs ...the guy wouldnt let me upgrade to the bigger one for 60...although i had the other smaller one until 9am tomorrow. I find it degrading and insulting that there was not any type customer service to try and help ensure I left as a happy customer. As a customer that spends thousands of dollars in rental needs, I will take my business elsewhere.
Eh. I perfer HD over lowes. My company account is set up with HD not lowes. But This location needs to take customer service lessons from the pin oak and ella location. Im just going to shop at lowes when Im in college station. After the rude cashier I didnt feel like they deserve my money. I see why the parking lot was empty when I pulled in. She was very ugly about accepting my gift card. Asking why i have it and who bought it. It was an x girl friends Christmas present but Why does that matter how I pay if they dont want to accept there own gift cards then why sell them. Its fine my mangers at my Houston locations take great care of me and my company account. They ensure my orders are always ready to be picked up when I need them even with large orders are put in the night before and in good condition Im done with this location. Customers should be treated with respect. If your unhappy with being a cashier then go stock shelves.
Bought a cheap ceramic tile, supposedly around 18 square. However, the tiles, even though they were of the same batch, were not perfectly square, and their sizes varied by as much as 1/8 in one dimension, even in the same box. This is a lot compared to a 1/4 grout line, but the manager told us this was normal for a cheap tile.Spent most of the afternoon talking about this with HD, and my installers wasted a days work. I did get the tiles changed out. I had to play about half the upgrade price, $170/2, and I had to pay my installers for their lost time installing part way then uninstalling. I would turn to Lowes or another supplier for tiles in future.Trisha at the ProDesk was great, though. She would be a good store manager.
Not today folks. Customer Service is not customer orinated. The young blonde female at CS and the young male at the return desk, both were condisending. This is the result of poor management. The employees become what they are, because they are aloud and or promoted to be. Be careful Home Depot College Staion. I spend tons of money in your establishment so dont mess it up. I will cut you off and be exclusive to the other place.
I had the most LOVELY Valentines Day experience at this Home Depot with my lover Forklift-kun. I received the best forking of my life in the back, and it was life-changing. It really lifted me to previously unknown heights. All I want from this day on is to be forked every day non-stop as Forklift-kuns personal task! I look forward to another year of being in a relationship with this strong machine. FORK ME DADDY!!!!!!!!!Below is an image of Forklift-kun letting me take the reins in our forking ;)

2021-10-24I have been to this Home Depot several times this month. Each time the store aisles located in the back are so cutter I was unable to get to the items that I needed without having to move items out of my way. Yesterday I had to step on a pallet to get to the item I needed. Went back today and that same pallet was there and the same aisles was still blocked.

2022-05-31Home Depot in general is going down hill. Customer service is horrible and they do not take care of Veterans like they use to. If you buy an appliance and it doesnt work when you get it home, they will do absolutely nothing to help you even though they are breaking the law by doing so.

2022-05-09I recently went in to purchase a grill for my wife on Mothers Day (her request), and was met in the isle by an employee (Demitrius). Id seen him outside working, and in the 90+ heat, was not surprised to see him sweating so profusely. Id stopped him and asked if he was already helping someone, in which he confirmed that he was. But said hed be right back to help out. I took the time to look around at grill accessories, and was actually surprised when he did come back - specifically to help me. Not only did he do what he said he would do, he went above and beyond to dig out another grill for me that was behind some other ones, and then proceeded to help me load it into my truck. Demitrius is amicable, approachable, and a man of his word. I wish my latest experience at the Home Depot in College Station was my experience at other venues in town. Great job in hiring him!

2022-06-30I finally found my one item needed , I had to go through the obstacles course to get it , How is that OSHA approved? Now the only way I can checkout is the self checkout ( no way ) or go to the pro desk checkout. . You guys need to hire people .. Bottom line is the College Station Texas Store location is UN SAFE. .. I hope Managment will fix this problem of keeping the isles free of pallet , boxes of stuff , ladders and equipment.

2022-04-23Unfortunately I was a procrastinator tonight and showed up within an hour of closing and frantically searching for a list of needed items not a single person asked If I needed assistance (in which I would have declined as I know they want to get out of work on time)It even got so bad they broadcasted that they were closing and I was at the check out, they were turning off lights to which I couldnt even see where to enter my card or even if I had the correct card in my hand.Even the woman who was guarding the aisle of self check out machines offered any kind of assistance as i felt as in her mind she was using Jedi telepathy to rush me lol.It was a bad time to have gone, but the smallest courtesy would have been appreciated.Probably try again at a better time when everyone isnt trying to get off.

2022-05-24The paint lady is the rudest person i’ve ever met in my life. She rolled her eyes three times and was not willing to help and was very condescending towards someone who doesn’t know a lot about paint differences. She made me cry bc of how rude she was. Will never buy paint here again.

2022-06-18Just left this home depot in need of renting a trailer. Was told they dont take cash so when I pulled out my debit card was told they dont take pre paid debit cards... WHAAAT? I have to go physically put money on my card at a location that offers that service much like someone that would need to go to a bank & deposite their check into their account. My card can be hacked, locked, much like bank cards. So why is my prepaid debit card any more of a security threat? When I asked for a manager was told there wasnt one. Seriously? This home depot SUCKS & Ill tell anyone coming this way.

2022-05-18Came by to pick up an online order, it was large so they had me waiting 45 minutes until they told me that the only person who knew where my item was went home for the day. Why is there only one person that knew where it was, and why was I told my order was ready if it wasnt? The world may never know. At least I know I wont be doing online orders with The Home Depot anymore.
