Never order anything online and have it delivered to this store. If you actually want it by the date the online system provides. They never have enough man power to unload trucks in order to get your important items needed for projects. Ordered a $3000.00 tool on February 24th, and still not in hand. They state we have the truck load here, but cant unload them we are backed up.
Poor customer service called to to see about a tool the air head girl that answers the phone kept asking me to repeat myself I know I was speaking clearly. Then after giving her the modle number she still asked for what it was if she she put in the model # she would have know shortly after that she threw me back into que and the home depot thing started all over again of she doesnt want to do her job then why even work there. She need better training in costumer service cause her attitude and answers the phone aint it. When I was working at lowes thats not how we treated our costumer. I had to call a different home depot what a big difference then this place. I called back the 2 time no once bother to answer.
I purchased a new lawn mower. Only used it for 4 months. It would not start in the Spring, was still undwe warranty, took it back to Home Depo bad service wanted to charge me extra $32 & ship mower to Atlanta GA & no timeframe(over 2 months) or guarantee it would be repaired. A yard machine I will NEVER shop there again!!!!
Went in to exchange some project material. Female Manager (I assume in her 50s) accosted me for my familys service animal and threatened to call Dallas PD. Ive had NOTHING but positive experiences with home depot in regards to my canine companion until I went to this south Dallas location. For clarity my 7 yo female Labrador is NOT at all vicious. Electrical tool selection was also slim to none compared to the rest of the metroplex in my experience.
Usually shop at this store, but after tonights service, I think that will change. Waited in appliance section for over 20 minutes waiting for help. Had someone paged to assist twice as well as my wife calling the store. No help in site. Finally went to the front of the store and asked for store manager. He shows up and low and behold, who show up but the sales associate (who should have been in her section all along). Wanted to purchase a freezer that was on the top shelf. 20 minutes after the sales associate shows up, I we still dont have a freezer on a cart. So much for the good Christmas spirit I was in.
Shawn in flooring is the MAN! I needed help with adjusting the width of 9 blinds and Shawn did an extraordinary job. I gave him my list of measurements and he went to work! Not only did he cut each blind perfectly he labeled each blind by room. The blinds are perfect and look great! You saved the day! Thank you so much for your professionalism and outstanding Customer service. I wished I could say that about the ladies in Customer service. It was a pleasure working with you. Mario from the paint department was awesome, he was very straight forward. He corrected me on the paint I should be using, as well as a slight color change. My pregnant wife soon to be due love the new color. He saved me from going to the dog house! Thank you so much! Ive got more rooms to paint and Ill be back!
Worst Home Depot Ive been to. Theres about 40 employees wandering around, mostly talking to each other. No one knows where anything is, nor what Im talking about. I looked on the app to locate items, nothing is where it is supposed to be. Worst stocked, organized, and staffed. Tried to find felt pads for moving furniture, nope, tried to find a scraper for labels, nope. The employees will direct you all over but to no avail, they dont go with you or really try, just I know theres some on aisle 6, nope.
I think they should let the people who are doing the cuts make the decision especially if its not too tedious or time consuming ! Based Upon this Factor; That Decisions are Based Upon Not Allowing A Customer too Stand in Line knowing, That they Could not Help you and let you stay in line and tell you that, when your time comes ! An, too Top It off ... They laughed: who are they you already know! WOW Thats Great Customer Service !
This trip was great. The store manager at this location went over and beyond to take care of us. Our online order ended up not being in stock so he gave us a substitute and comped half of our cost. I didnt get his name but whoever was on duty today July 28 2021 at roughly 11:30am at the store on Wheatland Rd. Have dealt with a many a home depot stores and out of stock issues and have NEVER been taken care of the way we were today. Needless to say I/we will go back to that store again. And I will make sure to get his name and will update my review with his name in the next couple of days. Would definitely recommend this location.
I just love home depot they have everything for decor changes. From unique back splash to refrigerator.i needed some paint for my kitchen and i realized they didnt have it so they made it for me. The customer service was great and the color was perfect... For low cost on upgrades to your home this is a must stop.... You will mot be disappointed!
We came in and was completely lost,until the staff helped us with everything ,his name was Mario he completely helped us in all the right directions,was very clear,and turned my vist,to what would have been 2 hour turn into a 20 minute visit,honestly amazing customer service
All 5️⃣ of the stars are for Ariel not for the actual Home Depot itself they only got 3️⃣First and foremost I would like to say thank you to Ariel for all her help with our visit to the Home Depot on Wheatland Road she helped us from the time we came in at probably around noon until about 5:00 or 5:30 when she left unfortunately we were there till about 6:00 she is one of the hardest working employees up there she went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed even though we were very annoying especially the father-in-law thank you Ariel if you read this. But Id like to mention how theres a lot of employees there that did not lift a hand saw my father-in-law who is an elderly man struggling to load his vehicle with $2,000 worth of merchandise and not one time did they even try to help an actual customer reached out and and helped us which is pretty sad because there was a lot of young men there and that is part of their job. And I recommend not to go there and buy any type of floor tile where you have to actually have one of the employees theyre cut it for you off the roll the vinyl flooring because its utterly ridiculous that you have to stand there and wait hours for somebody to come cut you a 16-ft piece of vinyl for your floor that is like the second or third time that has happened last time it happened and paint department nobody comes to the counter numerous employees and you keep going to the front calling and not one person will come help you were talking about how he will wait I dont understand why that location has that issue but I hope that one day they get it fixed they Im not the only one whos actually complained about it but Ariel should be in a managerial position she really deserves it and God bless her for all that she did for us I mean attentive as can be the city of Dallas appreciates you Ariel and all the hard work that you put in and you do make a difference and peoples lives just by making a shopping trip little things like that mean the most your fellow coworkers can learn from you and that is the god honest truth all right well thats my review have a blessed day you guys.
My mom purchased a trimmer I was unable to get it to work properly took it back to Home Depo to fix or change it they were amazing the team at the customer service desk changed out the trimmer and even install it for me. Thank you. Amazing service above and beyond helping with a smile.
Tool rental employees and cleanliness was the BEST Ive ever seen! They were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! Although they could USE MORE HELP, there were 2 guys doing the best they could to wait on a huge number of customers (who were trying to be patient) on a really busy Saturday!Even with this HANDICAP of being overloaded these 2 men were INCREDIBLY upbeat and helpful!PLEASE give them some HELP Home Depot!Good employees are hard to find! I wish Id have gotten their names.I cant say that about the rest of this store .
This is one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had and seen. The employees seem to have pushing you on to another employee down to an art to avoid helping you. Home Depot used to make claims that experts work in each department of their stores I guess all the experts quit and moved on to Lowes.
Bad service. No one ever came out to help with lifting big bags of potting soil i needed. Asked cashier outside. And she said she didnt know. Went to customer service desk. They called on intercom. No one showed up. Customers with back problems need help lifting items to purchase.
Customer Service at this location needs improvement. You have to constantly flag down someone to receive help although they are walking right past you. I also waited for 45 minutes on an aisle only to be told that the cutting machine for blinds was not working. Experience at the Lancaster, TX was completely different. Walked into the store without any lines and received immediate assistance with cutting blinds to the proper size.
It’s decent. Depending on the time you go, it’ll be packed and the parking can be horrible. I tried to park as far away from the entrance as possible to keep your car from being dinged. They have what your looking for most times. I know the last time I went, they were out of the house key that I needed and it was early in the morning.
This going to no lanes open, and all self checkout has ruined my experiences at home depot. I waited today while the security guard was helping people because there werent enough actual home depot employees available. This place is fine when its not busy, but beware if you go at peak times.
On my 3rd try and location... I finally find a store with a working saw.I pull the 8 boards I need. The sales associate in the cutting area goes on to tell me he can only do 6 cuts (I get it). Instead of arguing about cuts and what he cant do I simply went to the Waxahachie location. At the Waxahachie location they were able to get it done in 6 cuts with the same 8 boards. Amazing what you can get done if you want to...
This is more to the online experience that I have been dealing with. First I ordered a freezer from this place that took over 5 months to get and when I did it had a nail drove thru the side of it so when I called them they said they would get me another but it would take a minimum of 10 days and up to a month so I told them they can keep it and give me my money back and it has been 9 days now still no refund so I will be doing something about that and the Monday I go back online ( not sure why) but I wanted to get some sod and they said it was in stock at the wheatland location so I drive over there I guess what NO SOD again this multi billion dollar company has no idea what they have in stock and are just lying to people to get them in the door. I will no longer step into a Home Depot again.
Went to rent a paint sprayer. Everyone that I came in contact with in the tool center had a poor attitude and acted like they hated their job. They also put a new kid behind the counter before he was ready. When I got the paint sprayer home, I went to go use it and paint was spluttering all over my walls and floor. After fighting with the machine for a while and calling up to Home Depot twice for help and receiving none, I decided to clean it up and bring it back up there. Paint. Was. Everywhere. Once there, a manager came up and asked the new kid if he gave me the sprayer tip because it wouldn’t work correctly without it. He didn’t. That’s why my machine wasn’t working. So, I ended up being out a whole afternoon, $30 in paint and getting behind on my project. All because some kid did not give me the sprayer tip and I blame Home Depot management for putting him behind the counter by himself before he was ready.
This place is awful. Does anyone work on the floor?I literally just left out of store and I am writing my review in the parking lot. After walking around looking for someone for 10 minutes to ask about a specific product I went to the customer service desk only to be told they dont sell it even though the Home Depot website says they do. I didnt even say anything else because customer service is next to none these days and it was not even worth arguing about with clueless clerks. Never again will I even bother with this location, I didnt expect much from this location and it lived up to my expectations. Sad this type of service is so common on this side of town at most of the stores.
Ordered a dishwasher on line. Requested for Home Depot to install it through a contracted metro service. I had to pay $89 nonrefundable fee before installing. Ive been waiting over a month for someone to call me. I let the associate know at the store. All I get is an apology. Ill tell anyone not to buy appliances from here.
I sold a car in this parking lot and despite the guy trying to haggle on the price about 8 times, the power of home depot kept the price at 6,000. Definitely would recommend this parking lot, wouldnt recommend the guy buying it because he didnt have a drivers license and only had a texted picture of his ID. The money seems real, probably because we had this home depot on our side.
Horrible Customer Service yesterday 1/1/21 my husband and I went to The Home Depo to apply for a credit card when we arrived to customer service a lady assisted us asked my husband for his ID she typed the wrong address and wrong e mail address she ran my husband credit and she stated the system told her that he needed to obtain her service. She went to get a manager the manager was very unprofessional she walked away from her employee and went to go hide.her ccocoworker next to her
My wife and I will never go to this store again. Weve had two very unpleasant customer experiences with this store in a 2 month period.First one-We bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. The delivery men damaged our living room table. They hit our chandelier and kitchen table. They put three long scratches on our hallroom door, walls and crown molding columns at the hall entrance and the crown molding on the floor. They scratched the molding around the hall door.Second experience-I purchased $1400 of lumber and paid to have it delivered. I was told it would be delivered on the next Thursday between 6am and 8pm. I stayed home all day and it was never delivered. I called Thursday night and spoke with John. He said there was nothing they could do and to call at 6:00 Friday morning. I called and spoke with George. George said he would waive the delivery fee and schedule the material for within a two hour window. He said he would call me back with the day. George never called. I called at 4:00 and was told that George was still working on it. I was told he would call me. Again he never called. I called back at 7:10. I was told George was off. So he never did call me. I went to the store Saturday morning and spoke with John. He told me it was scheduled to be delivered. Had somebody called me, it would have saved frustration and time driving back up to the store on a Saturday morning. On Sunday I got concerned that the delivery fee didnt get waived, so I went back to the store after church and spoke to customer service. The Customer Service employee said the delivery fee had not been waived. I told the lady I wasnt surprised. She said she had to be notified of waiving the fee and she was not. I again said I was not surprised. She waived the fee and gave me a receipt. She said the lumber will be delivered on Tuesday. I was told before that it would be delivered on Monday not Tuesday.There is a Lowes two miles down the road. Its not hard to figure out which store we will go to in the future.I called Corporate Customer Service on that Friday after and related the two experiences. I called back today (Monday) to give the additional information on this fiasco. Just to find out that the customer service employee didnt document everything. The employee that i spoke with today showed absolutely no concern. To the point that I told him if this information is not needed then I wont waste his time or mine. I could tell he was not documenting anything I was sharing. It takes time to type and not ask me to hold up a minute.No customer should experience this.
I sooooo wish I knew the name of the representative who answered the Curbside Pickup line and immediately brought out my order. She was courteous both over the phone and when she delivered my items to the car. She appeared to be Latina and in her 20s, wore a hat, and had long, dark, curly hair. You rock, Girl! Thank you!Also, my initial call after my arrival during the same visit ended unexpectedly when the associate who answered asked me to hold while she logged into the system. Prior to the hangup, the associate made pleasant conversation and even apologized for the brief delay. This made my having to call back a 2nd time a very small thing.Just before coming here, I went to a nearby clothing store to return an item and was treated very poorly. This visit renewed my spirits.To this location: Keep providing excellent service! It means so much!
Came to purchase concrete but since its more then 20 bags i asked for help. Guys who drive the forklift are sitting down texting and just laughing away. The cashier is no help either. She accordingly called someone to help but have been waiting for more then 45 minutes and still nothing. Have complained with manager and still no movement. This place has the worst service ever.
Went to go buy a grill, no one to help to even ask for info. Looked around and someone was called 2 times. After waiting 20 mins. I just decided to leave. Horrible customer service. Never able to find someone that works in that area and no one ever comes after being called.
I spend a lot of time trying to find help in this store, an odd amount of time just to find things. I can hardly find anyone, but when I finally find someone in garden to help they’re having the time of their lives on the phone.. But hey, it’s not like she has a job to do.Update:They still don’t acknowledge customers in this store and the personal cell phone usage is at an all time high. How are you here to help customers but your phone is stuck to your ear the whole time? Beats me.
I was here with a co-worker looking for a dryer, the first employee helped with no problem. She realized she needed a electric dryer so the second employee was rude and standoffish. This stores lost went to Cedar Hill and they were more than happy to make the sale. 😁😁
I have the same likes and dislikes with Home Depot that I have with Lowes. Their selection is good (better than Lowes) and their sale prices are good too ( but not as good as Lowes). The problem is, just like Lowes, they dont honor their veterans discount on sale items. A veteran discount should be honored regardless of sale prices because sale prices applies to everyone but a veterans discount applies to veterans for their sacrifices and service to our country.
This location has been here for years and for every year they hire lazier people. They stand around like theyre in line at the club. What work does anyone do here. I waited 20 minutes for a worker to help me after I asked 5 employees who were socializing to help with trees. I went back in and asked another group of workers for help and they called out to one of the employees I already asked. He had an attitude and didnt speak to us. After he tied the tree up he sent me way across to lumbar to have my tree tied down. He wanted me to drag the tree myself all the way there and I told him I wouldnt so did he have something to put it in and he wheeled a work pulley and said here and walked off. Fire Fernando! The checkout lady was nice because she discounted the item for the inconvenience however I wont be back. It was such an unpleasant experience.
Yes I actually had a young man up to his ears busy in pro services slow his roll + guide me to the correct aisle + Due to layout of aisles it was easy for me to find what I was looking for... Upon returning the next couple of days I found the shelves were well cleaned ( in dusty store thats not easy) + stocked...I appreciated that because it made it easy to identify -grab + get out... well to go get in a very long line due to 6ft guidelines.
Heard two employees talking about disenfecting wipes. One said he had done it twice so far and would do it again and have others help. They continued talking on how when the store gets a shipment they have been going to one of their friends who checks them out in 2 or 3 transactions and they have bought a case or more of wipes and they sell them from their trunks for 15 dollars each. Very disheartening. There are so many people struggling. One guy mentioned he pays a little to the cashier who helps and a head cashier to look the other way. The other stated what of we get caught. The other mentioned he had been walking out most shifts with stuff every time. My heart aches for people who so call work just to steal and take so many others down the same path.
We received excellent customer service from the young lady working in the appliances department (LXI5837). She was very helpful and knowledgeable, unlike two other young males also employed by Home Depot. These two were totally clueless and unwilling to seek answers, so I took one star off.We purchased a stove and a sink. Installation was performed by two different contractors. I took off an additional star because the CS girl at the front did not enter our order correctly originally. We had requested delivery and install, but she did delivery only for the sink. This delayed the install by two weeks once we realized the mistake. Also, the stove delivery date was changed without us being informed. After waiting all day for the stove, I called to find out the status. After three calls, I was told the delivery date had been changed.
I stopped by this store on Monday at 5:45 pm to buy some window blinds. There were a few customers in the area trying to find blinds, I looked for a store employee in the area, but no one was close by. When I got to the paint department, I asked a young man in that department for assistance. He stated to , Quote I do not work in that department and I don’t know what we they have in stock. He then just walked away.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Went to this location today and received poor customer service in multiple departments. Pulled into the contractor loading and was yelled at by an employee telling me I couldn’t park there so I moved my truck so he was able to drive the fork lift and still when I came out my truck was damaged. Needed assistance in lumber department where 2 men were very rude took at least 20 mins to get me the material down one of them even snatched the orange flag out of my 18month olds hand. Over heard the other say he should’ve said he was at lunch so he didn’t have to do it.In the automotive department I waited almost half an hour for someone to come get an item off the shelf. I was reassured twice she would be “right there” but SURPRISE, she never came. In less than 3 mins I was able navigate the store to find a ladder and get it myself, which is frowned upon but these Home Depot employees are so lazy they didn’t even notice or care.I recommend y’all do some retraining or cut your losses. Burning your budget for nothing.
If you need anything building materials wise, go to this Home Depot! Great staff! Great selection! Best of all, if its not in stock they may be able to deliver it to you the very next day! And, if you just need a truck, trailer, or any type of equipment for just a few hours, a few days, whatever, you can get it here as well. Excellent location!
Gone are days when nearly every employee had theirown specific specialty; painting, electronic, etc. Consider yourself lucky finding an employee who is either too busy or too lazyto help find a product you need or, to ask about a problem youre having. In all fairness though, most workers there have been courteous and at least try to be helpful. The biggest complaint is product pricing and placement. Id guess 25 percent of products are either misplaced, missing the price, or out of stock. The overall feeling I get is youre on your own and try to solve the problem/question yourself.
I have been shopping and doing business with Home Depot for years and I must say that this is the WORST Home Depot I have ever seen. The staff was very frustrating as that the could not even find my receipt for a refund and/or store credit to begin with. I had to find my receipt on my phone for them (luckily I have my email stored in their system) or I would have never received credit for the returns. In addition, I was still denied due to the fact that they could not locate the receipt number in the system. Finally about 45 mins they provided me store credit. My next move was to pick up 1/4 inch sheets of sheet rock and was told they were out. I have never know a Home Depot (non catastrophe area) to NOT have sheet rock. In addition, I have never seen so many Depot employees that do not know the store layout as to know one could tell me the isle or row to check 3 of my first requested items. I became so frustrated that I thought I would at least grab a 30 door. Just a regular slab, nothing fancy, but was told that the type of door that was always in store for the last 15-20 years was not in stock and would need special order. Only to find that door on the shelf after ordering. This is the worst staff and store I have EVER stepped foot inside and should be shut down forever for sooo many reasons, including the ones that I do not have time to mention at this time. Please anyone reading glthis message reconsider prior to heading that direction. I would recommend another location and thats the GOD spoken truth. Hope this helps. I still shop at Home Depot, but never again this location.
I had bad experience with this home Depot about 2 years ago. So I tried to give them another opportunity but again they have failed. I waited for the floors associate about 25 min. And then when I do get some one they didnt want to check if they had it and if they had it he couldnt take it down because the lift was just put on the charger. I told him Ill wait an hr. To charge but he said still he couldnt do it. Just their customer service is not good.
I had to buy a double wheel part for my sliding glass door ( that, btw, dont make anymore) and they had the part (still!)! The cashier lady ( I didnt look at her name tag so I dont know her name) was very nice and if she reads this review, the daylight bulb is like a florescent light and its not bright but the soft white is brighter than a ole regular bulb. Gonna have to take the daylight back...hate that.
Love 💝 it. and got 🔥 tie-down straps was what we needed, from Arlington, tx to Log Cabin, tx. Once we figured out what we were doing 🤣 we was a miss for a while had help getting them 😙 loosened up, by men parked fix to us, pulled straps over recliners now ready for Malakoff, TX.
To quote the lady ahead of.me in line and we pay the same prices, as we lamented about the fact that only self service was available for customers. No one to check us out or help us. Just us doing the work of the employees, for free, to the benefit of the corporation and the detriment of everyone else.
Customer service in lumber is horrible. I asked Alfonso for help, he said he was busy. Meanwhile, I spotted him standing against the fence outside. Then he said customer service was on the way. I waited 20 mins. His attitude is horrible and he should not be in front of customers you want to retain.
Still following distancing and safety procedures as well as constant reminders over PA system to adhere to same safety measures for customers and staff! Of course you still get the occasional dummy who thinks they dont need to but hey theyre only human! Keep rocking home depot!
Since Home Depot is dog friendly I take my pet Junior, hes a white Poodle Bichon mix I got at the SPCA. He stays in the basket and loves the attention from everyone. The visit with was pleasant even with a return. The process was efficiently quick and I found everything I needed and used the self checkout which was also quick. Ive recently started using the Home Depot app which is very efficient. I create a list and when I get there I use the map it feature which displays a map of the store with each list items location. It helps so I dont forget anything and it helps me managing my time. You might find it helpful too!
Bad customers service. Everyone is just sending you around from one to another. Had an in store order and on the receipt it had a wrong date of delivery. I asked the sells woman if that should be a problem and she assured me that is a mistake on the receipt only When the date of delivery came and the delivery was not made everyone is just passing me to another person and telling me to call back. You better drive more but avoid waste of time in calls and other complications.
I went just before closing(9:40pm) to purchase 4 wood posts and 8 concrete bags. A Mexican man who was cleaning up the dept was very annoyed as was asking where the stuff was. When I found them, they were on shelf high up. He watched as I struggled to bring a post down. One broke as it hit ground. Same thing happened when I tried to bring down the concrete bags. One busted as it fell off pallet. If the Mexican had had ANY customer service training, he would have helped me bring it down.I could go on and on but dont have time. This location sucks!!! I wont be back
Whoever is behind the desk at tool rental today 7/9/2018 needs to work on their customer service skills. Manager and clerk were very short and rude with me. If you are going to rent a tool from them, make sure you ask questions because they won’t tell you any detail about the rental and charge you for things you don’t know about. I’ll go somewhere else from now on. Good day.
I was in need of a few things, so I went to the competition at first and received absolutely no assistance. So I decided to come here for what I needed. Im glad I did. The store is huge, but I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Knowledgeable about what I was looking for and also recommended a few things I would not have thought about. Thank you for a great experience.
I was pleasantly surprised on this visit to the Westmoreland store. I received excellent service, everyone was helpful and friendly. I have purchased from this store for many years and the service was always terrible, so I started to order online and just pick up at the store to avoid dealing with the workers.Apparently the management has seen all of the negative reviews online about this location and did something to correct the issues. What a blessing, Thank You.
I placed a online order at 3am by 4pm I had not head anything about my order so I drove to the store. I was told they will START pulling my order now. After waiting for 2 more hrs watching the order pullers play around I canceled the order and left. I will take my business elsewhere.
The kid worshop was amazing! My boys got to make a fire airplane. The activity was held outside in a corner of the parking lot. We got there towards the end, so I do not know if they modeled how to make the airplane. It was self guided, but instructions came with the kit. We sat in the sun but still had a ton of fun! The boys received a miniature Home Depot apron, a certificate, a pendant with a fire airplane with the month and year labeled, a juice pouch, a bag of chips, and a small Halloween treat box!
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because there are some employees that aren’t quite professional nor courteous. Never the less, Shawn in painting was very helpful. The manager is very knowledgeable of his store regardless of the issue or departments I’d ask about.
I was serviced by Mr. Daniel Purifoy, his customer service was excellent. He walked with me to locate the items I needed, secured a basket for me since my item was hard to hold. Additionally, the lady at the return department allowed me to checkout there rather than go to the regular checkout line.
This place is terrible. I have literally been waiting 40 minutes to get a color sample mixed. If I could give them zero stars for customer service I would. There is literally 15 people waiting on color and no organization in forming lines. Therefore they have no idea who is first. Maybe they should invest in training employees to do their job and maybe teach them how to say Hi, Ill be right with you. Or have a sign stated line starts here.
Today spoke w/Online Customer Service @ 5:06 a.m. CT to ship my order from A-store (60+ miles there & back) to B-store/Lemmon Ave (1mile there & back) she cancel A-store order than tried for me to p/u @ B-store, Not Allowed. So drove to A-store (Westmoreland) arriving a female Customer Service Asc. said my order (3 qty.) was put back, so i sreached alone then w/another Asc. but found only 1-qty. item on shelve. Helper searched for 15+ min. @ Customer Service Area w/me helping w/no luck, i thanked him for his help. As i was @ self-checkout w/more items i p/u, i hear my name the young man found it still in bag & tagged w/my name. I asked him where did he find it. Replying under the Customer Service Area register area... GREAT👍 Customer Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! on behalf of this young (name?) man. As for those several Customer Service Associates (Lolly-Gaggling) & not helping to look in their Responsible Area, SHAME 👎.
Home Depot on WheatlandI normally don’t write reviews, but the customer service is horrible I asked for help from an associate and they told me they don’t work in that department. Then I asked another person to get me help in the department I was in stood there for another 6-7 minutes and no one showed up , so I got mad and left. Now here I am venting on a review😩
I just love shopping at Home Depot. Whenever youre in need for items for your home sometimes we fail to think that oh, I can get that item from Home Depot. If youre looking to get any type of item for the home whether its a fan, heater, microwave, can openers, cleaning supplies, tools are things for your yard or lawn, Home Depot is the place to go. The last time that I went to Home Depot which was a couple of weeks ago I was in the market for a microwave after looking online at Amazon and Walmart then I thought hey Home Depot has microwaves let me go see what they have. I Was So Satisfied when I got there because Home Depot is really close to me and the lines are not as long as other stores and you can get what you need and come on out. The microwave that I purchased was $50 and I think there was a really good deal for the one I wanted. I just love Home Depot.
Tonight I came here to get the stuff I needed for my body shop. Which Ive always been able to get here.I was trying to find a flexible grinder/sander disc. I walked the entire tool area at least 4 times. I asked the two people on the pro desk to page the took person to come over & help me out. They Contacted him directly and he told them that it was on the front wall over by the power tools. So I walk that entire wall again nobody ever came over to the tool department like I asked. NO LUCK.Then I went to the self check out and a gentleman there to page somebody to come to the tool department & show me where this product was. However he never showed up, by this time I had been in the store for about an hour and a 1/2 trying to find a product that myself and the PPG guy at the paint counter looked up that said the grinding disk was in IIsle 71, bay 4. Which is totally incorrect and it said you had 8 in stock. So what would have been about a $250.00 sale, with the other items I had in cart.Ended up being $ 0.00 !!!Thank you for the PPG guy & the African American gentleman working the self checkout counter for your help.At least some of you are actually trained in customer service.
Worst store ever. Saw product online, it said 7 in stock. 5 ppl said we dont carry it but nobody looked. Found it myself eventually. Took to register and it was wrong price. Lady copped attitude when i said something. She said to order online and pick it up down there. Walked down to service, told her the issue and she rang it up at the right price.1 out of 5 ppl actually did their job. Internet shopping will take over an put most of them out of work.
After looking for help within the 40 mins. Denise was very slow to help and confronted us after asking everyone for help. She comes to us with the call and says what do yall want? Instead of how can I help you. She needs help in customer service. Finally Patrick comes and we would give him a 5 star rating . He came and moved denise to to work and get what we needed. Thank you Patrick for doing above and beyond. So many employees and no help.
I shop at over 20 different Home Depots. For the biggest part the staff is friendly and helpful. South Hulen store in Ft worth. North Ft Worth on White Settlement rd. FT Worth Ave in Dallas. And the Grand Priaire store on Carrier are some of the best for friendly ,smiling and helpful staff. They will almost never pass a customer without making eye contact and asking if they can help you. Now it doesnt happen at every store and I think they should hammer their staff every morning about greeting and making eye contact with every person they pass. Just my humble old school opinion if you care about your customers and their needs you will always have customers.
Horrible experience. Customer service was rude. Especially a lady named Stella, who completely ignored us upon arriving, and helped the person behind us. I felt disrespected and ignored by the person who was supposed to help me.I recommend a different home depot...this one is not worth it.
There is rarely anyone in the department to answer questions. The staff that is there almost never acknowledge your presence or even identify with the fact that you are in need of assistance. My experience is like pass the buck or wild goose chase. You ask about the employment opportunity because you know there MIST be a shortage of employees, because you rarely see any working & they cant even give you the proper instructions on how to apply. RIDICULOUS, but we continue to receive this type of treatment & home depot continue to pay them for their poor customer services. CONTACT ME, Im a mystery shopper by trade, you guys are definitely in need of an over-haul!

2022-05-16Your tool rental employees are so NICE !!!I went there this past Saturday to rent a jack hammer. A woman and man were working there (sorry didnt get their names!) and they were pleasant, greeted us, helped us - got us out in 5 minutes.We were so impressed !!!Thank you for loving your job and doing your job well to help the rest of us. It inspires all of us to do well at our own jobs and be kind to others. We will DEFINITELY be back!

2021-09-21Never order doors here. We ordered a door and the delivery took almost 2 months. We were told it wasnt to take too long, but it did. The door was very dirty and broken as you can see in the pictures. They offered me only $50 as a discount. Of course we did not buy it. We lost our time.

2022-04-29I shop here often being a contractor in electrical. I came one Wednesday, and Jimmy & Mr Arnold in the electrical department was super ! They helped me find most of everything I needed, and was very nice about it. Thank you for the awesome customer service, and efficient tools. & also Ms Yolanda at the cashier was very helpful & nice . Excellent customer service .

2022-06-21My wife picked up an order today. Customer service was over the top. The ladies from the customer service desk insisted that they load mulch in 100 degree plus weather. Unfortunately she did not get their names. These were 3 ladies were working on Tuesday around 1pm in the afternoon. They are the best. Thank you

2022-05-07Went in for some roses to plant. Mothers Day gift.. but very low on selections.. was able to find some pink ones.. gave it three stars cause of no Hotdog stand outside. That had to be the first i seen without one

2022-06-15Visited the garden center. It was crowded today and they seemed to have a lot of workers but they werent organized. The right hand didnt know what the left was doing. Also someone needed to water the outdoor plants. They were struggling. Headed down to the rental center for an auger. They werent sure they had one?? But I was standing there looking at it! 🤣 We got what we needed and everyone was friendly, so 4 stars for this location, even though I think the management could sharpen things up and make it even better.

The people are EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY!!!They are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS GLAD to help and assist me. 2022-07-05I must say this location specifically has to be managed well, because the people I came across, Yolanda, went an got my basket, wow, Maria was so patient an offered the home Depot credit card, to save an additional 100.00 on a major purchase, also maria was very patient an very knowledgeable of the products, helping in the decision making process, WOW! Im a customer for life! No more Lowes for me!
