The Home Depot in other cities:
This Friday morning, there were all kinds of vendors present, but very few HD employees. It was difficult to find somebody to ask a product or stock level question. House brands definitely favored, but is what I expected. Just wished I was able to order product from store.
Horrible service.., asked John-Andrews to call another store for tiles got an attitude for doing his job.. took forever to get someone to flooring.. whole time customer service John Andrews standing around talking. This is not the first time I had poor service at this store. Just writing a review on it
You know what’s ridiculous? When a store is so poorly run that they only have one register & selfcheckouts open even when the line literally wraps around the entire damn store. Lowe’s never has this problem!!! Be glad you carry Makita brand tools or else I’d have zero reasons to ever shop here!
Usually I can get in and out with no problem. User friendly isles. You can pretty much find anything. Today they were so busy. It just so happened I couldn’t find a few items in the the right location. A checker couldn’t ring me because one item not tagged. Anyway it was just one of those days. I think the good help was off for Christmas and the new doesn’t seem to care. This is just my opinion.
Horrible parking lot. Lots of people loitering in the parking lot looking for work. Not easy to get out. Its actually easier to park next door at Lowes next door and walk to HD. I do this often. Other than that the store is pretty clean and typical as other home Depots. They really need to fix the parking lot though.
Typical home depot , no workers in sight to point me in correct direction, except at the self check out there were plenty employees hanging around. Never did find what I was looking for do I left and went to the dollar store which is now the dollar and a quarter store due to government inflation.
First of all the hours listed for closing are incorrect, It shows 10pm closing and they kick you out the store at 8:50pm. Rosa the rude cashier at self check out that has been there13 years feels as though she owns the store. Rosa seriously has the worst attitude and customer service there is needs to seriously change jobs or attitudes.
This rating is NOT for the rude, lazy female who refused to get up and help us while looking for a door.. My sister explained she had no idea what else was needed to get for the exterior door that we wanted to purchase there, the only info we had was what her contractor gave, when my sister gave this rude person that info she(employee) looked up from her computer long enough to look at us like we where bothering her and pointed. Well the funny thing was the rude employee was able to stop her computer work long enough to flirt with the another employee that came over twice, at this point we went to look for someone else who might be able help, we went 2 rows over to Lumber asked for help and was told he would find someone, when he took us to the same person who just pointed to the doors we told him she was no help, he then tried to help but at this time my sister was so fed up that we left.. I do want to apologize to that guy who tried to help, it was not his fault but we had been there for over 30 minutes with no help. This rating is for him (African-American with a cross earing in his left ear) and for the very kind and funny greater when we walked in..
Shopping easy as curbside delivery. Gets good safety but I had an bad experience on curbside pick up as waiting 30 minutes no one came and I had forced to go inside store and collect my online purchases and asking order number and on home depot app I shown my purchases than they found after asking ID and wasting lots of time and tired so I asked why? Cashier says you will not receive your purchases. I shown my ID but She left than manager came and told me you had an misbehavior with my cashier we can call police to arrested you. I explained everything than manager understand and in 15 minutes given my purchased item. Thanks giving me trouble Home Depot servies.
Do not buy anything appliances from Home Depot because you could end up spending 2x . If I could, this store shouldnt sale appliances. I bought Samsung washing machine with model number WF45T6000AW from Home Depot. I noticed that it doesnt wash off clothes properly, It leave stains on the clothes after wash. After the first wash I said it could be because its new then I did second wash and came out same. I went to their website to request a return or exchange, I noticed it said no refund to all their appliances, I called the customer service number I found on the internet, I was told they can only solve the problem if go into store. I went into the store and I told I can not return or exchange it. I was told to call Samsung and sort it with Samsung. This could take me weeks if not months to get this sorted out. I am still going through and I will get back with feed back from Samsung. I am so gutted right now.
I guess its not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I tried to get the attendant to understand that what is posted at the display is not what I was being charged. It was only $1 off, but ... its still a dollar. After I had enough of the blank stare, I just paid the extra dollar and went on with my life.Dear Home Depot,I know youre a huge corporation, but for Christs sake ... please do something about your customer service!
This location and more specifically staff - Shane in Lumber, is my favorite weekend shopping trip. As a beginner woodworker I’ve found many great pieces of cull lumber at discount and learned so much in how to beat utilize the pieces. Shane has become a welcome face to see and chat with and this location consistently has everything I need when supplies have run out.
Wow ! This is the worst customer service , last time , I came to buy a grill, no one help me out with it , I was waiting 20 min , service staff the only thing they did was call by the speaker 5 time and no one showed up, I stopped another employee that was passing by the area , and all he said was , wait for the guy in charge on this area today I bought something online, and I ask the lady on pro service desk and she was really rude with her answer. Ill never come back to this home depot , and I buy between 4k to 6k every month on supply here for my bussiness.
Ive been a loyal customer to this location for years and just last week I experienced the worst customer service of my life. I walked up to pro-service to ask for a quote and as I walked toward the department I made eye contact with the employee which immediately turned around and acted like he was making a call on his personal cell phone. I reached the counter and noticed the cell phone on his ear was open on the Facebook app so it was clear he was purposely avoiding me. I notice the name on his apron as Oscar and when I tried to get his attention by clearing my throat he turns to me and says Im going on a break, someone else will assist you and walks away slowly. Thankfully there was a nice young lady who helped me with my quote. It would be nice to see a replacement for this EXTREMELY RUDE man.
I went in for a 14” chain saw , chain. There was no one to help me. I had a picture of the chain saw my brother has. I don’t know if they even make this chainsaw any longer. It’s a EGO … Anyways I had someone come by but he said it wasn’t his department. So he paged for assistant on the chainsaw aisle. I stood there and read every one of the 14” chainsaw chains. I was going to buy a new one if they no longer made the one he has.But being no one could care less about my purchase. I will be going to a local store. I might pay more but at least I will get waited on. To bad you guys are turning in to Lowe’s. No customer service.
As others have also mentioned, help is hard to find at this store. However, I had the pleasure of finding an amazing employee that went above and beyond to help. After trying to purchase some appliances, an employee was not able to apply the bundle discount and told us to go to customer service. Once there and after explaining the issue,, the employees at customer service did not know what to do and brushed us off. At this point, Peggy came up and said that she would try to remedy the issue. She looked at our issue, requested assistance from the manager, and helped us apply for the Home Depot card, all the while keeping a smile on her face while nswering all our questions. Through Peggy alone, do I give this store 3 stars instead of 1. Thank you Peggy and hopefully your work ethic will inspire others at the store.Updated 11/14/2021: My online order was not ready for pickup when I arrived at the store. I had received a call a day earlier to confirm when the order was going to be ready. This lead me to assume my order was going to be ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, no part of my order was ready when I arrived and had to wait 4 hours for my order to be ready. Very frustrated with this whole experience.
I used to work for the home depot I loved that job and honestly never thought how much you can accomplish when you love what your doing for a living . Sadly Ive been to several stores in the Katy area but none of the employees seems to know what to do and what there doing they never know what they can do for them and to provide best customer service , sad if I could give cero I would .
Yesterday , I went to Home Depot it wasnt to busy , I couldnt find something I was looking for asked a young lady an she directed me to different departments but I saw another employee an he showed me exactly where they were thank you very much for taking the time to help me find what I needed you got what it takes great job good customer service it was around 3:45 pm an he was on Isle 14 or 15again thanks for helping us .
We ordered a refrigerator to be delivered to our home. They gave us two confirmation emails stating they would deliver between 12-4pm. The first call we made was at 4pm and dispatch now said they would be there by 6pm. When they didnt show by 6:30, we called dispatch again, they said they were less than 15min away. They finally showed at 7:15pm. Never again will i order from the home Depot.
On Sunday I came in looking for air filters as I was walking I saw worker named Derrick and I asked him if he knew were they were at. He said nah I don’t and kept walking. The time before that I was trying to buy a sink vanity and there was no one to bring it down for me. Also noticed a vanity on the top that wasn’t even on the system as I checked the website several times, I even entered the sku number and it didn’t pop up.
The associates in the plumbing department were extremely helpful even though they were clearly overwhelmed after the storm. They had everything in stock that anyone could ever need in the plumbing department even after the biggest ice storm in the history of Texas. I went to three other stores before I went here looking for parts with no luck. I came to this Home Depot and found all my items within five minutes, and as always, at the best prices around. I hate to give a big box store a five-star rating because I prefer to shop local, but it is what it is and they earned it in every way.
They have a great selection of everything. I love shopping here. Its a clean and organized store. My only problem is getting help. Its hard to find anyone who can help you. I have waited 15 plus minutes for someone to help me or to find someone who is gonna get someone else to help me.
I love this place. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. When I ask for something that I need, they take me to where it is. I am a very old and large little boy. This is a big boy toy store. When I owned my own business, my employees didnt like me coming in here because it was so hard for them to get me to come out. Theres always one more thing that I am going to enjoy looking at and maybe buy. Is there a 12 step program for this ADDICTION???
They have nothing in stock. Staff is very unhelpful. Shoot if you download the Home Depot app you are already doing more then the dopes that work there. Forget calling cause they dont answer or the wrong department answers and transfers you to another wrong department (let the chain begin). Lowes is right next door, go there instead!!! Save yourself a headache!
This is a very good Home Depot. Im not giving 5 stars because of the encounter with a rude and unprofessional supervisor, Elma. My husband and I were about to leave because of her bad attitude and unwillingness to assist us. However, we spoke to other more helpful Home Depot employees namely Al. There were a few others whose name I didnt get but I wish that I had.Anyway, Al ordered the upright freezer for us in spite of Elma telling us that employees couldnt do that and we would have to order it online ourselves. We also received a $50 credit for opening a Home Depot account 😀! So, one bad apple doesnt necessarily spoil the bunch.
Poor very poor. They have items such as keyless entry door knobs locked up and all of the prices are WRONG and they could care less. Customer service is LACKING and not hardly anyone can speak English. My God are we still in America? Seriously ridiculous and all of these WOKE businesses can go to hell. Ill take my biz elsewhere. Wake up people and take off the ridiculous masks, shields and plexiglass. I 🤦♀️ They do NO GOOD!!!
Would of have 5 stars, but pine wood pickets and a Ryobi auger set me back $500.00. 26ft of fence that belongs to the neighbor. The auger is not quiet powerful enough for the dry ground. Soak it and it kinda cuts through with a couple batteries. Composite vinyl is produced far cheaper than wood Im in the mfg. Business so I do not believe its priced fairly, its priced by market close to wood otherwise wood would not be an issue right now and long lasting composites that we use on beach houses would have dominated the market. Home Depot please help, the are local mfg that could create your composite pickets competively. Thanks
Now that we have moved into a house we love, we find ourselves at Home Depot quite a bit. They have some items we need but surprised to find other items never in stock. I know Covid plays a roll in that. Also the customer service could be better. Several employees saw me walking around the store looking lost and never stopped to ask if I needed help. I asked one employee for help and he told me he was on break. So yeah I had a poor experience.
The other day I went in to look for a primer I need for a wood table project . The shelf was stocked up with so many kinds although its good it honestly confused me more but one of the reps that observed me came to the rescue and just pointed me to the one I needed ! good people good staff !
Got to this location at 10:30 am just to pick up some cabinets and had asked 10 people to help me get the cabinets off the top shelf as I was not allowed to get them myself and was literally sitting in the isle until 1:30 before anyone came to help get them down and only after I asked to speak with the general manager did anyone help me . The guy who took time to help me was just trying to go to the bathroom and on break but was the only one in the entire store to have any type of customer service skills at all.The man at the pro desk although was extremely helpful very kind and considerate being I had 5 push carts with everything from cabinets , drywall , lighting etc . I own a construction company and I am always at a Home Depot somewhere and this one is in the top 10 of the worst customer services in Texas . Aside 5 employees that I know well and none where there today .
I dislike Home Depot very much because of the horrible customer service. Every single time I’ve been to one, there’s nobody on the floor to ask for help. I would have to walk half the store to find someone. And when I do chase an employee down, they act like they don’t want to help. As if they hate their job. Today, I said “Excuse me” to a lady worker there 3 times. I know she heard me but she tried to ignore me & basically brushed me off. Home Depot’s employees are not helpful whatsoever. I left & went right next door to Lowe’s. Walked in & not even 3 mins later a sweet, kind employee asked if I needed help with anything. That’s customer service right there.
Worst customer service provider by Steven in painy department. I had to place an order and Steven while placing the order says will take 40 min. Ridiculous. Then as I am waiting, I call for extra person for help. As the other guy comes he puts me as next in line.Managers get your acts together and keep extr people there. Ridiculous
Please read before you consider a floor installation with Home Depot, the worst experience ever. Home estimates come with a 35 dollar charge which is not a big deal, although most are free. It takes three weeks for materials to get ordered, I guess with COVID-19 most places are delayed.Materials are suppose to get inspected by the store but does Not. My floors came defective and the installers let me know. The installers explained the flooring with not lay flat because it was manufactured wrong. They suggested to order another batch which will take another 3 weeks. This is after all the floors have been pulled up and furniture moved. Oh extra charge alert on floor leveling after paying the whole total initially. The plumbers were scheduled to disconnect sink and toilet on a Saturday and never came. Basically these people will just waste your whole weekend. Installers took 3 days to place floors to later say all the materials were not ordered. Which is confusing due to the 35 dollar high level floor measuring guy who came out to gather all the information. Customer service is very rude and unhelpful they just blow you off after they take your money. Cooper installations is the flooring company and they basically ignore you while you are waiting for the project to be completed. I will never use this company again. I just want my floors finished. The worst experience ever.
I am in here all the time buying materials and this is by far the best Home Depot I shop at. They have some decently informational staff unlike others I have been in. . a gentleman at one didnt know what shingles were. . Went as far as to pull up the skin virus on his phone 🤦🏼♀️. I always look forward to coming I this one though! Miss Donna, one of their cashiers, is the friendliest lady ever, absolutely love her!!!! Keep up the good work Home Depot! !!
Had some very helpful employees. They did not have all we needed. But they spent time and helped us figure out what we needed. And best of all... Not once did we have some one come up and ask if we needed help with our project and try to sell us or up sell us on a contractor.
I have never seen quite a concert of unprofessional-ism and incompetence centralized in such a small amount of square feet. Possibly the COVID masks are restricting oxygen to vital organs; nevertheless, I could not successfully get a $350 five-piece patio set purchased and delivered to the proper address. I am however, grateful to the home improvement gods that I did not order the proverbial washer/dryer set. I shudder at the thought. From the inception of the young clerk entering the wrong shipping address (and then entering it wrong again after I spotted the mistake), to the seven transfers it took on the phone to finally find someone who could cancel the order, after the delivery personnel failed to deliver the item to the correct address I provided (no thanks to that millennial clerk), the whole shopping experience was a comedy of errors. Thats not to mention that Im still waiting for my new credit card to get to my home. It was supposed to get there in less than a week. Its been two weeks now. The entire experience was regrettable, from purchase to non-delivery. And alas, it was a birthday present!I can truly say that, with regards to their slogan, Home Depot didnt help this doer get a thing done.
The personnel working the self checkout are rude. I asked for help with the military discount and the display showed it only took off for one of the two identical items after they entered the coupon. I asked why is that? They could not give a good explanation and seemed to not really care. Only after selecting pay now that it did indeed was showing the correct discount for both items. Better off going to Lowes next door.
This home Depot getting worse by the day, middle of day one register open at the contactor check out, several isles close due to one forklift operator . Waiting on materials to get a job done not cool, Im getting pay by the job not by the hour like the forklift operator in your store telling me a I got to wait a LONG WHILE 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Im not really feeling the self-checkout trend that many stores are doing. Now it looks like home Depot is going that route with reducing cashiers. Hopefully this business plan cost cutting measure will assist in lowering prices over all in the store for customers. Still plenty of friendly employees ready to assist you. Prices are competitive which I appreciate
If you are buying kitchen appliances and your are not white please don’t go to this place. The old white guy ball no Hair will give you bad attitude and he will really bad service. I was there trying buy some kitchen appliances that guy service very rude and bad because i ask him couple question about the difference of between item which once better. He wont help me. He told me to go home and do research. Another white guy came after me. Then he would offer him to seat down and go over. I did brought to the store manager about this. All store manager said of sorry please come back another 30 minute i will have another guy help you.I go to Lowes, you just lost your businessGo to Lowes right next door, they will treat everyone one the same.
Dont order online for pickup. You are better off going and getting it without reserving it online. Online orders get canceled and take more than a day to get ready for products available. Just happened again on 11/8/2020. I guess I didnt learn. Again dont order online they will cancel your order most likely if it is on sale especially.
This store has good inventory and is well organized on the inside. The folks inside are very friendly and will help you. Main reason I give the store a three star instead of a five star rating is that they cant fix the lights on the outside of the store. At night this parking lot is really dark. I brought it to the attention of one of the managers about 4 weeks ago, and he said, oh do we have lights out? Unfortunately I find this to be a bit disingenuous, since the lights have been out for about 6 months. Went back the other night and still nothing had changed. Come On Home Depot. You are better than this.
Just returned from home depot off 529 and highway 6 and felt I was getting yet, another bad day of service. Almost every time I shop here I find that price tags are missing so you dont know what the price is or the item is mishelved, giving a wrong price. I took the time to search and shop for items that were in my budget and when I arrive at the checkout, I get a different price or I am shocked at how much an item is that had no price tag to begin with. So, then I am forced to take items off the checkout which is a hassle and embarrassment. Also, at the self checkout, the assistants are rude. They seem to not be happy with their job. They point you to the next register open. No good morning or hello. The reason I am saying this is because I felt a bit of irritability in the checkout staff that assisted me today. When I asked the price of one of the items and then on a similar item that had no price tag either, his reply was, do you want this or not!. Wow! I as I thought his wording may have been a mistake, he repeats the same reply with another item that was priced wrong on the shelf. Thats when I asked for a manager (Juana is her name) who did not come to the register to assist. So, I put back 2 of the items, paid, and left.I am writing this lengthy post because I have called the store number several times hoping to speak with Juana about her store and the staff and no one is answering the phone. The store needs to improve overall.Hope this helps!
I was impressed with their policies during the pandemic. I went to another home improvement store right next door and there was a serious lack of masks for both employees and customers.Home Depot was the opposite, it was rare to see someone not wearing a mask or not respecting personal space.
Im not talking about the machine but the SERVICE here. Theres this female employee who legit ignored my help request with the machine. She doesnt seem to care at all. Plus the customers here are so annoying. When I left my machine to ask the employee for help, someone was staring at my machine and they even wanted to use my login credit card to print stuff. At the end, I didnt get to print my essays. Would never go to this place for printing, ever, again.
Very packed... scary to see so many people. Also people without mask. I dont understand why we still have to deal with irresponsible people ... so disrespectful ... he was coughing and looked sick, could be just a cold but really they need to in forced at the door by representatives no mask no service period... I left right after was there maybe 5 minutes... I am so not happy with all the stores that allow this because they care more about making money than everyones safety and I know we are adults and they have no fault of irresponsible people but they are responsible to in force roles and if people cant obey then no service period.
Spray paint is my life. I think Im addicted. Home Depot is where I go to get my fix... not literally, just for my crafts. I have gotten into recycling and upgrading, and love experimenting with color. Always met with assistance and a smiling face, and I cant wait to go back!
Frequently out of stock on fencing boards and when you ask an associate if or when they may have more in stock they do not know or care. I used to come to this location but now prefer the smaller hardware stores such as ACE. Much better customer service and they actually HELP you there.
I purchased an item on 24-Apr-2020 online to pick up from store. todays the 12-May-2020 and it shows on the home Depot app that the store received this product on the 30-Apr-2020 and it still shows that they are getting it ready for pick up. Ive made several attempts to call the store, sent emails, no communication. Im not willing to risk my health or the health, my families health or any other member of the community to come down to the store for an update! absolutely unacceptable. Lowes next door and other home Depot locations are able to have items ready within a few hours of ordering the products. several other items that Ive purchased for pickup at the Copperfield store have taken several days and upwards of 2 hr wait times at the curb side designated are for pickup. Poor customer service
I moved to a house in the area and as a wedding gift my parents ordered me a washer/dryer and a refrigerator. Now I’m not the type of person to leave a bad review but after all of the run around I have been given I need to let others know what has occurred. My full order was purchased back at the start of May and was set to be delivered on June 22. Let’s fast forward to my move in day on June 20th when I receive a call that my refrigerator is back ordered and will not be available until July 15th. Now moving is already stressful and that was the last straw to set my nerves on edge. On June 21st I go to Home Depot with my parents to get this sorted out. Nothing can be done about the fridge other than a refund since they could not accommodate with another fridge to our liking. Upon the refund the incompetent cashier’s then changed the date of delivery of my washer/dryer from June 22nd to July 15th! Not only did I take the day off work to stay home and wait for this order I now have to call my boss and tell them I’m sorry but I need more time off! I have been trying to call the store for over an hour with no luck so this store just keeps waisting my time. I’m very disappointed.
Kency Kelly (Assistant Manager) and his representative provided the worst customer experience ever. To begin the young man who was working the desk was giving customers commands instead of talking to them as customers. The interaction I had didn’t not even begin with a hello, but a demand for a receipt without any other words. After receipt was provided he appeared to be annoyed by general questions. I then asked for clarification from a manager and got a “he’s going to tell you the same thing.” Once Mr. Kelly was called he also failed to introduce him self so I did it myself. He proceeded with telling me “you’re only getting a store credit that can be used only in store and not online.” If that is the policy I understand, but I am a strong believer that if you’re in a customer facing position the way you present the message Is extremely important. My recommendation to the general manager. Hire/train your employees on how to treat customers and it all starts from the top the way your management treat customer your representative will follow. Do your best to provide your customers with a I can help you with that attitude and at least try and be courteous. I bought my item with a gift card and wanted to return the item to get something you only had available online. The fact I was unable to do that was not the issue, but the experience I had was.
Any job worth doing is worth letting someone else do it! That must be the new motto at this location. While struggling to get 2 sheets of playwood barrier under trash sheets and at least 4 employees did thier best to act as though they didnt see me? 1 was most likely a department head. The only one to offer assistance was a really young kid who obviously was new there. Im so grateful he helped and wanted to before being removed and replaced. Dude cut my wood short not a problem today but tomorrow Ill have to return and ask for a board stretcher. Im done with Home depot, Lowes will be my new go to after 40 years in done!
Terrible check out lines. There was lots of young Home Depot employees just standing around, NOT helping customers to get checked out. Two of them just standing around, talking to each other at check out areas, NOT calling customers to come up to their open check out register. Terrible customer service. They NEED a manager.
I couldn’t give it a more negative rating. Floor people couldn’t be more useless. Bad attitude, just plain rude. Specially in the paint department. If you want to waste hours on end and be annoyed to no end. Come to this store. I mean this to constructively. Their managers should read this and do something about it.
Online showed they had Lysol wipes in stock (Copperfield). But when I drove 30 minutes to get there the manager said there was none in stock...and there hadnt been any for a few days. You really need to update your website especially since you dont have an option to deliver.
Went in to get replacement spool and was helped by two young men who were extremely helpful and polite, when all of a sudden some young lady (short with brown hair) who apparently was either a manager or floor supervisor comes and starts yelling at one of the young men right in front of me. I won’t say what about about but you NEVER do that in front of customers... I was literally embarrassed for him. TREAT YOUR COWORKERS BETTER THAN THAT!!!
Everything we needed and they had answers to all of my questions. As a 1st time home owner, I had questions about re- painting our shed in the backyard. I wasnt sure what brand of paint was best or what finish. I was certain that I was getting everything explained right because of all of my previous experiences with The Home Depot.
This Homedepot used to be very good with customer service and getting you in and out. Not sure what’s changed this was my go to during all the Harvey jobs but as of the past few times it’s very time consuming coming into this store. I would rather pay more then waste time. Good thing Lowe’s is right next door.
Went to Home Depot because I wanna to change my both bathrooms. Purchase 2 bath tub everything for bath then get some other stuff which I asked to be delivered to my home. The person who try to set up all stuff for delivery had to put 5 times in computer she didn’t able to do it . I ask if she can can someone to help her she was going on and on is not my fault I don’t care who faults was but took me 1 hour to get this set up then from her going that many times she puts wrong item number have deliver on time but when my plumber try to do it I realize that was a wrong bath tub. I had to do exchange my self because she didn’t do it right. After all that time and money I spent in store she didn’t even said simple I apologize that was kind of very rude . Do I care who is that fault no I don’t . The older gentleman who came in and help her he apologize even he did help a lot very sweet guy but her I don’t know where did she learn about customer service. I didn’t get her name but I will never spent my money there . Lowe’s is right next to you guys .
Manager Juana is very rude and unprofessional. We explained our situation and was told we can return the merchandise on the phone and when we got there the manager Juana told us we can’t return the item. We asked if we can talk to Liz, the one who said we can return it. We explain our situation to the manager. She said you cannot return it. Then she said “NO, you go find Liz and get out of my store.” After that she yelled “you got to leave my store!” She forcefully push our cart to make us leave. She’s very unprofessional and ghetto. We drove a long way in our car to return the 8ft butcher board. We were very calm and professional. She should have made an exception since we had been approved to return over the phone. After that she needs to inform her employees on the return policy instead of starting a confrontation with customers. I have never in my life experience this type of behavior. She needs to be demoted or fired, she’s the new Karen of homedepot. She will be hearing from corporate soon.
I dont know if its all Home Depots or just this one, but this place really rocks. Every employee has a smile on their face and is more than willing to help you with anything at all. All the employees seem highly trained and if not able to answer your question then they know where to find out the answer. The whole store is super clean and organized, and havent come across to many items out of stock. To me though, the most important thing is that they truly make you feel like a valued customer and that they are happy to see you... Very rare these days. Impressed!
This is my go-to home depot. The staff is quite knowledgeable on just about any question you throw their way. I really enjoy their selection of lights as I frequently visit this department. I also make sure I check out their newly marked down and clearance items, which have yellow tags.
I use this Home Depot all the time. For business and personal use, everybody at the pro desk is very helpful and attentive. The well organized, clean and friendly staff is always willingness to help is why I will continue to come back, no matter what. Thanks Home Depot Copperfield pro desk and staff.
Super helpful staff... I had an order to fill and I was running late as usual... I had to have the items to finish my work for the next day. The crew helped me with my order and by the time it was completed and I was checked out it was a few minutes after closing... Thanks so much, guys! Yall are great!
ALEX BONILLA gave the best customer service I’ve ever received at Home Depot! He spent about 45 minutes with me helping me find the correct tools for my project and helping me load everything into my car. I asked tons of questions and he provided me with good recommendations. He was extremely patient and had a smile on his face the whole time. He even offered to buy me tamales! Give this man a raise, promotion, or something!
I went to return a couple of items at customer service desk and the person who helped was extremely rude and off putting. She was very cold and unfriendly towards me. Seems like her cellphone was more of an importance than providing customer service. Having people at the front line of the store and having them be so rude to the customers that provides business is extremely DISGUSTING. Even though this home depot is close to my house, Ill drive the extra distance to shop somewhere else. The name of the customer service rep was Alma.
Horrible service, no one around to help any customer out. And if they do help they dont ask questions and just give you the first thing they see. I did not find what I was looking for. I asked several people several times and no one was willing to help, or the store did not have it. That is why they are losing to Amazon. I found the items...yes more than one thing that I did not find at Home Depot and delivered in 2 days. You order it in Home Depot and it is a week and need to pick it up at the store.
Im at different home depot stores all over town. Most of them are set up pretty much to same but one thing is the same in every store. Every time you need help with something know body is anywhere to be found. Good thing I know more about the stores than most of the people that work there. But still a great place to get man stuff.
Customer service needs improvement. I was second in line and Waited for more then 15 minutes; When it was my turn the associate simply told me that customer use all my time, its time for me to go she clock out and walk away. I had to ask another associate if there was back up cashier for Customer Service department.
Disappointed, FALSE advertising. The sign on the wall said if anyone tries to go lower well beat their price by 10.. I ask them for a tool that is shipper on Lowes by 20% same tool same brand they said we dont do that anymore but the advertising still on tv radio and inside the store 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
I will not purchase any more appliances from Home Depot no matter how good the price is. The customer service was great at the store, but their delivery company Dupar, sucks. Didn’t install one of our appliances, didn’t haul away. Now Dupar won’t return my phone calls. So I have an over the range microwave that I can’t use because it’s not installed.
Yes I went to home Depot yesterday to get some fertilizer and some soil the gentleman that help me his name was Teri he was very helpful, he stayed with me and picked up all the bags, and then he helped me put them in my car,I thanked him and told him to be careful I gave him $2 and told him to get himself something to drink and to show him that I appreciate all of his help 👍😃
I ordered 50 bricks online early morning and I got a text from them saying my order was ready. I came 2 hours after they sent me that text and when I get there. I kept getting the run around and ended up waiting an hour and half before they could bring something out. Absolutely the worst service ever. No one knew what was going on and no one was even bother to check on a computer or make a call to find out
Asst. Manager “Jerry” here won’t take your return without a box even though you purchased something from H.D. merely an hour ago. That or he’ll tell you go to the original store you bought the item from. How does either of these issues matter to a large retailer? These shouldn’t be issues whatsoever.
The employees at this store are horrible, I was trying to buy the water filter for my fridge today ; first there was no employee on the appliances department, I walked the store looking for help, I asked 3 different employees, all 3 acted like they were too busy to help me and sent me to other hall, the 3rd employee was even Rude, HAROLD was his name, 20 min later, still waiting for help, so sad for the employees representing Home Depot to behave like that with costumers, very disappointed. For sure not coming back to this store.
I bought 30 bags of garden soil online and paid an expensive express delivery fee only to find out on the delivery date when I had to call, that they could not deliver my order until the next available date which is 3 days later. Which was supposed to be fine with me, but the delivery employee told me the reason why they could not deliver was because there was no phone number in my Home Depot customer’s account (which was a big lie- my phone number has been saved since I opened my customer account 1 year ago) and that they could not deliver due to they were not able to call me. So I canceled my order and about 6 days later, I still was not refunded of 300 dollars. And today I found out (when I had to waste my time once again to call Home Depot in copperfield) that in order for me to get my refund, I would have to come in to there store physically so I can be refunded. But why do I have to come and waste my time and gas only so they can get the job done. This is a disservice to their customers! They should change this system so they won’t lose anymore customers.I could buy garden soil from another company or store but I was a loyal customer and have been buying garden soil from a different branch much closer to where I live but someone had transferred my order to their store which was so wrong. Now I have to waste so much time only because I was trying to be a loyal customer but after this, I won’t buy from Home Depot anymore.
Horrible service I called ahead to rent a truck to make sure it was available the rep that answered took down my name and told me he was going to put it on hold. I drove 20min to this location only to find out the same rep was renting the truck he put on hold for me. Just ridiculous
All of the staff were very helpful. I was dealing with a delivery situation where the item I ordered was shipped from the Willowbrook, GA. It was shipped in its manufacturers box instead of a shipping box. I received it from UPS torn and taped up. I was able to return the item with no issues and also able to get the right item an hour later after dealing with Home Depots Online customer service folks. Total 4 people on the phone, 1 whom sounded drunk, and sent me to the wrong phone department. The folks at the store made up for the online and phone mishaps - Also 3 disconnected calls. The staff at this store earned a life-long customer.
Well I am probably going to fall short on my review because I just had the best experience at the DIY class that I attended. Oscar thank you for taking care of us and we will be coming more often to the classes so expect to see more of us there. You guys have the best customer service, I love that I can go there and people know me by my name it really makes me feel like at home. My favorite place to get all I need for my home projects.
Wow husband went there on Fathers Day and they let two women right before him. But when he gets to door they shut it and say we are closed. All he needed was a new part for his drill, had it already listed on phone so would have been quick in and out trip. Probably would have finished before the women. Lost out on a sale.
Eugene is probably the most genuine person I have ever met, he helps people with all his heart finding the best supplies for my cabinets, He literally made me feel that I am the only one shopping in the building without being behind on his main tasks, this place is better with this man.
I was trying to buy a microwave unit on Sunday June 30th afternoon, but the sale representative at the kitchen department was extremely uncooperative and rude toward me when being asked for recommendation. I got one at Lowe’s with significantly better customer service.
I really dont go to Home Depot that often, but when I do they have basically everything I need to complete projects of all sorts. If anything, I believe that the Home Depot on highway 6 is nothing special. There employees for the most part are nice (then you get that one odd ball thats crazy and out of there mind or even extremely rude) I have to say also that the whole place could have been set up a little differently (not too important). My main concern is the workers outside pushing the carts, because they either dont know what there doing or they dont care at all (I completely understand that this isnt an easy job on its own and the customers throw their carts where ever the want which doesnt help, but they should do their jobs properly and to the best of their abilities.
The ants are getting a little out of control around the house so I went into home Depot to buy them a little treat, more like a trick. Other people must be having problems with bees and wasps because I couldnt help noticing a lot of the insecticides to address bees and wasp were gone
Great place.Criminals don’t take a holiday or get a day off. One must always remember that you can be the next victim. Preventing crime is often simple as realizing that it can happen to you and taking basic precautions to prevent it.The most important thing to know when coming here is to DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE.IF YOU DO PEOPLE WILL BREAK INTO YOUR VEHICLE, and FIND WHERE YOU HID THEM.DONT BE STUPID AND THINK IT WONT HAPPEN TO YOU.ITS NOT IF......ITS A MATTER OF WHEN. And if you have left stuff in your vehicle, and nothing has happened yet. Then you have been very fortunate.** Dont be a victim.Dont bring cash, credit cards, social security cards,or anything you dont want to disappear.PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS and you should be fine.AGAIN if you FAIL TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE and your vehicle gets broken into, dont look for a Pity party for your own stupidity. Most of the property stolen is portable, or not affixed to the vehicle. Everything from GPS units, radar detectors, purses, briefcases, phones, money - you name it.Since most property is portable, most of the offenses are preventable. Heres how:TAKE your property with you when you leave your vehicle. For items with mounts (IE radar detectors and GPS units), remove the mounts also and take with you.Hint: Suction cup mounts will often leave a ring on the window. Thieves will look for this, and even if the GPS/Radar Detector (or whatever) isnt there, theyll break in and look around inside the vehicle. So, clean off those rings before leaving your vehicle.LOCK your vehicle. Sure, someone can break the window and get inside, but if youve left nothing visible inside, theres little incentive to do so. A (potential) thief will usually just move on to an easier target. If the vehicle is unlocked, however, a thief often will take a look inside. So, lock your vehicle when you park.Taking the following steps in protecting your property and to discourage would-be criminals from committing auto burglaries:Do not leave valuable items visible in your car.Close all windows and lock all doors before leaving your vehicle.Park in well-lit, heavily populated areas.Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, find another place to park.Avoid parking next to occupied vehicles.Be aware of your surroundings.Make a copy of your registration and insurance, and keep them in your wallet or purse. Then remove all forms of identification from your vehicle. Anyone with permission to drive your vehicle should also have a copy of the registration and insurance with them to furnish to the police if necessary.Do not leave garage door openers in parked vehicles.Take note of emergency/pay phones near where you have parked, in case you need to use them.If you see any suspicious activity or individuals, please contact the police immediately when you feel safe to do so by dialing 9-1-1 (from cell phones).Don’t think your dark tinted windows will hide your valuables. Thieves often use flashlights to see through tint.If you are parking your vehicle for several days check on it periodically.
This is very convenience store for me .I like the sales personnel for knowledge and friendliness but in times of pandemic - Im surprise with ignorance of some of the personnel not wearing face mask.I have been in the Copperfield store on 6/15/2020 and at least few sales people (one of them not wearing mask help me) did not wear face mask or gloves. In some other chain retailers like Wall Mart or Costco I did not see this problem. This worry me very much so especially in time of growing numbers of infected people in Harris county. This is bad news...Eugene
Dont believe what this stores website says about inventory! I drove from 40min away because I was led to believe, per their website, that they had items which were in fact out of stock. Wasted trip, unfriendly staff & they dont seem to care. I thought that the Torry Chase store was the worst in town but...I now think that this Copperfield store is worst because not only do they Not have anything in stock, They Lie about it on their website!
Worst experience with renting carpet cleaner. She gave me the carpet cleaner without telling me they are out of hand tool. After I go back to my house I realise I am missing some tool for the staircase so I go back to the store ask for refund. When I ask for refund they dont give full refund.
They have almost everything, but my only complain is that when you are looking for something theres nobody who can help you. You are like chasing them ,and if you find somebody the surprise is they dont work on that section let me call somebody who can help you 1 hour after nobody appeared. So customer service need an improvement.
Horrible service went to get a simple piece of wood cut and the guy was totally rude he told me the machine was broke after just finishing another customers and as I walked away they laughed and he said hes tired of cutting wood people need to buy a saw and do it themselves went to lowes next door and the did it for me. . . Thanks LOWES
Aisles blocked with online orders, people just stopping and talking or messing with thier phones in the mandatory aisles leading to the cash registers, completely unaware of anyone around them. 45 minutes to buy 1 bag of concrete and (1) 4xr4x8ft. Should have gone to Lowes.

2022-03-01I have been an old customer, and even when it is farther from home, I find more associate with the willingness to help than in other branches. I have to recognize that lately, there are plenty of new hires, and they are kind of lost, but it is happening everywhere. It is a very organized place. If you need help, ask the elders; they know everything.

2022-06-27This location is right next door to a competitor’s store. I will always chose to go to Home Depot though because of the excellent customer service. I showed up right after closing to remedy my own mistake from an earlier purchase, and three employees worked to solve my issue (one named Salam, I believe). They worked quickly and with a smile!

2022-03-25Impossible to find someone to help give an item that needs a security lock removed, had to go several times up front to request help because I searched various aisles and was unable to find an employee. Even after going to ask for help up front no one came. I even called the store hoping that would be a better solution and guess what...no one picked up the phone either. A ten minute trip took approximately 20 min longer than expected!

2022-05-07Nothing makes you feel more like a criminal than having an associate be required to not let you handle the $80 product you came to purchase! We came to purchase an $80 Ryobi Drill and had to ask for a gate to be unlocked and then were informed we couldn’t touch the product but had to wait in line to pay for it first. Wanted to chew out the associate but it’s not his policy poor guy. Thanks Home Depot for making me feel like a thief!!

2022-04-18I would like to give a shout-out to the young man/associate who was working with the light bulbs today. He was in the racking all the way to his knees to ensure products were pulled to the front. That shows me 110% effort and he deserves to be recognized for that effort!

2022-06-13This is hands down the absolute worse Home Depot we have ever had to use. The ladies at the pro desk are rude messy have terrible attitudes. I have never felt so distraught from a pro service experience. This is why we use Lowes! An unfortunate job location with no Lowes close by. From now on we will make the exception and drive farther to purchase material! Only giving 1 star because goggle doesnt give an option for no stars.

2022-03-04I used to love this store until yesterday when I went in to buy sensors for my garage door. I was approached by someone wirking there and he was trying to help me only to find out he was really trying to sell me something. Told him Im wasnt interested and went to another aisle where I was approached by someone else trying to sell me something. Cant even look at anything without someone trying to sell me something. High pressure sales will result in the store going under. I will stay away from now on.
