The Home Depot in other cities:
This Home Depot has always had incredible customer service. They have always been far superior than the other one. I went to get a Christmas tree on 12/21. Everyone knows 2020 has been challenging to say the least. The kindness and service the sales woman gave me that day truly was remarkable and touched my heart that someone could be so caring. (I wish I had asked for her name.) I cant thank you all enough!
Home Depot is refusing to give a military discount to veterans that dont do something JoAnn (cashier) called register. In other words your retired government issued ID card isnt good enough. Home Depot simply wants veterans to jump through hoops and give up a lot of personal information to receive the discount. Havent we given enough Home Depot ?
The one in Mansfield off of frontage road is always perfect! Most the staff in there are knowledge if theyre not theyll get right on there palm pilots and help you out youll definitely find what youre looking for if not theyll even direct you to another store that might have it Ive been to other home depots and they dont compare to this one I recommend this one hands down!!
Good service, material selection and employees. I have been to this Home Depot location numerous of times and they are consistent with the three items I listed. Respect for having the street vendor at the entrance. The pleasant aroma from the food goes all throughout the store.
Nice, helpful staff but sometimes cluttered beyond belief making access to items difficult. In fairness to this location, the other Arlington area Home Depot’s are as bad. “Clutter Depot,” I call them. Besides access challenges, there could be an increased fire safety risk, especially on a crowded day. I’ll raise my vote to 5 stars once corporate addresses this continuing issue.
During my past couple of trips to this store, I have been pleasantly surprised at the level of service that I received from the folks working in the various departments. Once was helped by a couple of employees cutting some sheetrock for me and most recently another employee got a heavy box off a high shelf so I could look at the actual product and not just a picture. Both instances, the employees helped me with a great attitude. Keep up the good work.
This place is always well stocked. I always find what I need.Cashiers are fast and efficient. So I always like going here.Oh and if you need help finding something , there is always a employee around to give you help.Seems like some of the big box stores are not doing this anymore.
Won’t honor faulty materials, even the ones that claim lifetime warranty. The Managers are incompetent and rude to say the least.I literally placed 20 calls and made 4 trips to the store over a 3 month period before they even tried to help and then when they did it was absolutely my worst retail experience ever. Giving Lowes my business from now on and buying floors from an actual floor store such as Floor and Decor.
We have been very pleased with the products, displays and service at the Mansfield TX Home Depot store. Store Manager Gil was very helpful today in getting Special Buy pricing & HD card coupon discounting corrected and applied to a product ordered that had been delivered. Love how my Home Depot card rewards me with discount coupon offers! Awesome service!
I contracted with Home Depot in Mansfield TX, to have my carpet replaced, I was very happy with the process and the price. Home Depot contracts with Cooper Installer to do the installation. On April 12, the installers showed up and they were very professional and all in all did a great job, but with any large project there can be a problem. This is when you can tell if you are dealing with professionals or just a company that just want to take your money. After a week I noticed a problem with one selection of the carpet. I went back to Home Depot and talked to the sales rep Helen, she gave me a contact name Briana who is the manager over the department and said that she would make arrangements for someone to contact me. I called Briana and left a voice mail explaining the problem and asked for her to call me back, I never heard from her. I called her again and left another voice mail, again I never heard back from her. I went back to the store and talked to Helen again, she said that Briana is in the office, she tried calling her, but she did not pickup. Helen went back to the office and talked to Briana, she came back took down all my information and a went back and gave Briana the info. Helen came back and told me that Briana would contact the installers and they would be in touch with me. A couple days later a Cooper manager contacted me and I showed him the problem, he said that he would have a crew come out and take of it. They showed up a couple days later, and fixed the area, everything is great now. All in all I am very happy going with Home Depot and Cooper installers they did a great job and willing to back up there work. The only thing is I would not deal with the Briana from Home Depot, even though she is the manager of the department she is very hard to deal with.
Ezra was professional and courteous and very efficient and how you help me. I needed a plug change on the dryer, and I did not know how to do it, and Ezra explained it to me very well. I truly appreciate Ezra’s help, and Home Depot should know that he is a great asset to the company.
Thank you so much to Jonathan and Ken for all of your help. I had several questions and you both helped me on different isles. When you go to home depot ask for Ken or Jonathan they both know their stuff and are extremely friendly and helpful. Home Depot is always my go to place for home good needs and supplies and their BEHR 🎨🖌 paint is simply the best!.
This was the third Home Depot Ive been to today. I couldnt find the Rustoleum Cinnamon spray paint. As I was leaving I was greeted by the very upbeat and nice young lady. She was very down to earth nice. Her name is Christie. I had to take her picture so it will be known.
I tried to buy a lawnmower from this company, online the lawnmower is advertised for $99 but in store, for the same exact product, they have it priced for $199 and would not price match THEIR website. I ordered online and could have the item same day shipped with an edger for cheaper than what I would have paid in store. So I placed the order but was left feeling uneasy about being told “Home Depot does not price match their website” so I called corporate who then told me that it is at the discretion of the store on whether or not they want to price match an item. I refuse to do business with any company who feels it is ok to take advantage of consumers this way. If you can sell the product online for $99, I’m sure you can afford to sell it in store for that same price. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and went to Lowe’s to buy a different lawnmower, a bit more expensive but the cost was not the issue. Getting something for a fair price is the issue. I will not do business with a company that feels charging double in store for the same exact product, is ok.
We went in looking for a few items to purchase, a very Sweet young Gentleman came to our Rescue. His personality was so Awesome. If you need it they will stop what they are doing and assist you even another young Gentleman came to our Rescue as well, he worked in the painting department. Guys I give you a Gold Star. Keep being Awesome. Staff friendly
My friend and I went to Home Depot to pickup some supplies for his house remodel and we were fortunate enough to meet Zach. Zach found us and asked us for help at customer pickup and he could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and caring during our entire experience. In talking with Zach, we had brought up that we were thinking of using a spray gun to paint the house we are working on. Zach was so knowledgeable, he not only showed us different spray units that were available for rent, he also took us through how to use each one. When we had specific questions about application and cleaning of the supplies and hardware, Zach never wavered in his honesty and knowledge with his answers. If the United States was built on the foundation of hard work, dedication, and doing the right thing, then I wish our entire workforce was made from Zach. His professionalism and care are top notch. He is the type of worker that if you are having a bad day, hes the guy that makes sure you leave happy. Do yourself a favor, ask for Zach in equipment rentals, and get his knowledge (at least on painting)! I promise you you will not be let down.

Home Depot is always a great experience. Whether its a quick stop on the run or checking out new items, tree staff is always helpful. I will continue to be a loyal shopper for if you have a product defect or an issue from a purchase, they prioritize you with value. Bravo Home Depot and thank you for the always great service
Friendly staff, they always attentive to their customers compare to the other locations. Shout out to John, Weis, Donald, Madison, Josh, and Mitch. Please keep them they are great people they are your assets. They go above and beyond to help their customers. Thanks for everyone helping us there. If you need the plumber experience John got you covered he is the best to answer any question you need.
I recently purchased some material from Home Depot in Mansfield. What started out as a headache turned out to be a blessing.I recently lost my job and wanted to start some woodworking jobs on the side. My plan was to purchase some material online and have my wife pick it up on her way home from work. However, I knew that the plywood would not fit in her car without being cut first. So I called the local store and asked if I could get it cut. The guy in the lumber department said that it would be fine as long as it was paid for first. I said that I was paying for it online. He told me that it would be fine.Later on, I received a call from the store but missed the call. When I called them back, the customer service lady told me that I would have to come in to have the pieces cut, I said that is not convenient for my wife. She transferred me to the lumber department and I talked to a different guy. After a long discussion, he said that they would cut it.When my wife showed up to pick up the material, the plywood had not been cut. My wife had just gotten off work. She is a 4th-grade teacher and dealing with the covid pandemic and trying to juggle teaching in the classroom and on zoom at the same time has been very trying. She did not have the time or the patience to sit in the parking lot to wait for the material to be cut. After a long discussion back and forth, we told them to just cancel the order.Benjamin the store manager stepped in and made us an offer that we couldnt refuse. I never really thought about Home Depot having great customer service. I never really thought of them having bad customer service either though, just average. Well, Benjamin at the Mansfield store has changed my mind. Without really knowing it, his actions were a blessing to our family and we will continue to shop at his store.
Been going to this HD for years - In the past, they had a lot of really knowledgeable employees that I could count on to help me with projects. In the past two years, there have been a number of the really knowledgeable employees left. Now, it is hard to find anyone there to share their experience and or knowledge. A lot of times when I ask for help, I have to hunt someone down - then, they point to another part of the store and say Its over there on aisle _. And when I need help loading, I ALWAYS have to ask for help - they used to ask me if I needed any help loading. Now, I have to wait for a disgruntled employee to come up and help load. I am going to Lowes more often now because there is no difference in the two - and, Lowes has more selection than HD.
The only reason that I give the store a 1-star is because I have to. In order to write a review you had to star something, so with that being said this store has the worst customer service not only that , but the people in this place seem too late refuse to wear face masks and then refused to give you six feet. None of the employees; when I spoke to somebody, and ask him to give me six feet; said anything about that they should comply with what Im asking them to do. So with that being said I think that they need better employees up here that have more respect for themselves and concern for their own health. That is very important so therefore that being said Ill never come here again.
As a Pro Customer, my job is already demanding and high paced. Since rehabbing homes, Ive come to this Depot almost every day for the past 4 months. Thomas in Pro - Super Cool and Helpful. Girls that take the returns (young one, not the older lady) - Always nice and service oriented. Guy that does the online orders - Always hustling and providing me the best svce Ive encountered yet! Guy who works in blinds - Super helpful and nice. Paint - Thanks for putting up with us coming back to buy so much paint! Guys in Rental Tools - Esp the young guy from CA - Thank you for your understanding and making hard days easier. Very happy - Keep up the good works guys and girls.
Where do I start, other than knowing nothing about plants. I just had to share my experience today as I was just amazed by one of their staff that went completely out of her way to educate my wife and I. This KUDO goes out to Nancy in the HomeDepot Nursery. Why? She spent about 15, if not 20 minutes or so walking us through the nursery as we had no idea what we wanted, other than something that just “looked nice” Nancy also took time to tell us which plants would grown best in low light/outdoors/limited water and etc. A good education that I needed for sure!We originally chose some type of plant that we “thought” we wanted, however she noticed that we had a little toddler and didn’t suggest it, as it has micro-thorns which we didn’t see. Kudos to her for the observation and seeing beyond the “sell”. With a toddler, this was very important to us as only a parent would understand ( hence, little ones - touches and if not tries to eat everything). At the end of the day, after making our final choice and purchase we came home happy, educated with plants 101 and overall experience!A big round of applause for HomeDepot to have such a talented, customer focused, observant and well rounded person on the team. Job well done Nancy, this KUDO goes out to you! A keeper within the team...
Outrageously poor service. My home was flooded because of pipe freezing and breaking. The mitigation people (ServiceMaster) spent days packing up all my things and putting in boxes in the garsge.then demolition...pulled out walls and insulation and all my wood flooring. I bought flooring from Home Depot on line. Then I needed estimate from Home Depot for installation...so I went in and asked them to set up an appt to measure my home. They were supposed to call the morning of appt to let me know the time they would arrive. They called and informed me they were NOT coming but could reschedule for some time later that week..Wed Fri or Sat. I told her I was totally booked up with appointments so could not reschedule. I then came back in store and rescheduled for Tues. of the following week. Well, Tues came and...nothing!!!!! I went down to store...they told me my appt had been canceled AGAIN. They said it was a mistake on their end. Then they offered to reschedule 3 days later and that they would get results to me 4 days after THAT. Meanwhile I am living in a shell of a house with everything in the garage. Their solution was putting my floor installation off another week at least. Acting manager, Troy, came to me at my request and said he would solve it...and would call me that day for sure! He said it was their mistake.. So I went home and waited....NO CALL. The next morning at 8am I called and signed another company to install my flooring.Working with Home Depot was a nightmare. Will NEVER deal with them again. I am 73 yrs old and live alone...this was just a horrible experience for me.
I called home depot ,our company was doing a job near by. Talked to Zach in tool rental department, the item I was inquiring about was not in the tool rental department. We had to buy a torque wrench for the task that had to be completed that night. After 5 minutes bouncing around through customer service, I was transferred to Zach. He took it upon himself to check in the other department to see if the item was there. He told me it was there , where to find it, and how much it was. Excellent customer service even when it was not his department. Thank you.
I want to take a moment to say that we came in to fix our bath tub and needed some assistance. “Gentle John” came up and assisted us. This man is a very good asset to your company. Kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaches while he helps. You don’t find good service like that very much these days. Thank you John for your assistance and kindness. He should be noticed more of not already.
Really disappointed to have to leave such a review since I love coming here for everything BUT appliances. Ive been here three times for appliances and all three times the section is void of any workers. They call for help, no one arrives. Theres usually a line of customers in the appliance section waiting and I wind up leaving after 20-30 minutes. I went here today to finally buy a refrigerator after it kept flipflopping from sold out to in stock. I wanted to price match and if possible get 10% off as well as I had read that Home Depot will match and beat competitor pricing in store. After again not finding anyone in the appliance section I went to the front Customer Service and they were unaware of the process as it relates to appliances and told me to go to appliances... Finally I told them no one is back there. So the supervisor finally said sure he could price match but couldnt do 10% unless Best Buy had that model in stock (which they did). So I quickly run to Best Buy to get a picture of the elusive refrigerator on the floor with price tag or a flyer, but they dont have it on the floor nor do they have flyers but they DO have the item in stock and can deliver Monday (It is Friday right now). I tell them straight up I am fixing to go to Home Depot to request my price beat if they want to try to match the supposed Home Depot price beat. For reference this was a $1500 refrigerator at Home Depot for $1440 at Best Buy so if Home Depot matched and then discounted 10% then it would be around $1300 pretax. Turns out Best Buy cant wiggle in that 10%, thats fine. But before I head back to Home Depot I call them and finally an appliance person answers and they say that price match is true, yes, price beat is not true for appliances because their appliances are almost always special order - they dont carry any in store. To say the least, I spent a good portion of my day running around trying to find a knowledgeable Home Depot employee to help me buy an appliance - and going back and forth between Home Depot and Best Buy to prove something that said IN STOCK on the Best Buy webpage that I showed Home Depot only to find out it isnt actually a thing? Im not even sure if that is true or not but one thing I am sure of is that I was so annoyed calling Home Depot in the Best Buy parking lot that I threw in the towel, walked back into Best Buy, and immediately bought the refrigerator from them because at least when I walked in the door I was greeted and immediately assisted with my purchase. Why drive back through traffic and wait around even longer, again, to argue a price match with Home Depot, when I can get it from Best Buy whos on it. Bizarre to me as Id think the appliance section would be one of the most lucrative sections for the company and the employee if they get commission. Honestly, zero employees in the section. I wish I were joking.
Worst Home Depot ever! Multiple people in the lumber area had absolutely no knowledge at all. They said both saws were broken, Im pretty sure they just didnt know how to use them. One gentleman up front, with glasses and curly hair seemed to be the only one in the store who knew anything at all. He was helpful, other than him and the woman at the cash register the entire store was useless.
I went to HD to get carpeting for my master bedroom. I had had a measure done previously. Donna had helped me in the past and helped me again that day. She knew what she was doing and got everything set up for me. The people who had come to measure my room said I had all sorts of things I didnt (grandfather clock, aquarium, adjustable bed and more, all things that I would have been responsible for moving.) That part didnt please me but Donna took care of it.
Do not buy an appliance from here. Buy from Lowes. We got an oven delivered from Home depot and it did not fit. I took it back the same day it was delivered. I was told I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. The purchase paper work stated I HAD 48 HOURS TO RETURN IT OR A RESTOCKING FEE WOULD BE APPLIED ON THE RETURN. I went to Lowes to buy an oven that will fit. Not only do they have a better return policy with no restocking fee, they had the same oven at a better price ( Home depot had the same oven on sale). Lesson learned.
Thanks to Nancy in the garden center for going above and beyond hauling 12 heavy bags of mulch for us in the heat. Nancy definitely gets 5 stars. My rating is only 4 but that’s for the entire store itself. We seem to always have issues with customer service here but Nancy helped bring that review up! Thank you :)
My wife and I visited the flooring department on 04/05 at around 6:30 PM. There were 2 workers on the area just talking. I waited and asked for assistance. This one lady walked towards us, I asked question about the hardwood floor and then she suddenly walked away, said something her co-worker and just left. I asked the other lady if she can assist us and she said Yes. Im asking some questions when another couple walks in the area and she just left us there standing to take care of this other couple. I stood around for 45 minutes. The first employee was just sitting in front of the computer, never acknowledged us while the other lady was talking to the other customer. I wanted Home Depot to give me an Estimate for my flooring at home. I have a quote from a flooring company of 22K, but wanted to see what Home Depot had to offer. I think the fact that I was speaking Spanish to my wife kept these workers away from us and had them concentrate in other people. Pretty sad, but I will take my business somewhere Im welcomed and appreciated. Its their loss! I got my money and they have these employees with horrible attitudes.
Rented a Rug Doctor from this location. The young lady that checked me out was super nice and informative! The young lady that received the machine back not so much. but over all super smooth experience. Over all the employees have great customer service! Definitely will keep coming back.
Great store for most home projects. All standard departments with decent inventories plus home improvement which is mostly why I shop here. They has some great new tile designs today. While I like to shop online, many of the home improvement items need to be seen and touched in person.
How do I rate less than one star? I don’t know that there were actually employees at the store. Two people wearing Home Depot shirts were there but could not have been staff. They were just chatting away while no registers were open except self checkout, where three of the four were trying to get staff attention as well by continuously droning on that a customer needs assistance at the self checkout lines. What a waste of a trip.
Visited on April 26th and 27th. Went to contractor entrance as I needed lumber. I was asked if I had HomePro account. I did not know, I still do not know. I have a Home Depot card and an online account. I was allowed in, both days, very nice people. I go back today, May 3rd, approached by employee Ricky. He asked about my HomePro ID. I explained the same as I did previously, and he said, well, looks like you dont have one. I explained that I was just in here a few days ago, with no issues, and gave the same info. He says, you cant come in here. I asked if they did not want my business, and was told, not if thats how you feel.I know we are still under a scamdemic, and that there are rules, but I had just been here a few days prior, without incidentI just wanted 3 boards. It does no good to complain to a manager either, as you are not allowed to talk to one when you call. I went to Lowes. ZERO issues.
Supercenter very hard year for me and my mother he had a hard time trying to keep the trailer from our property to move are tracks in the backyard which is by far our fault Ive been dealing with my mother do things that were in the storage unit after we move. Soaking wet From The Storm
Staff is great when you can find them, though Im often not finding them when I need them. The products I need are always eventually found, though I catch myself looking at Amazon in the store when I cant quickly find what Im looking for. So do I want to wait a few days to get what I need and can find online or do I spend the time to hunt someone down to get what I need now...
If Home Depot would go back to their regular hours it would help out with getting things back to normal, instead of turning away customers who are trying to spend money. Any business that wont reopen to normal hours or at the fullest capacity allowed is part of the problem. Thanks Home Depot for being part of the nations problem.
The lady at customer service was rude when I was exchanging my items and spelled my name incorrectly on my gift card when she had my id right in her hand so then there was a problem at check out. I had to wait several minutes for a manager to finally show up so that made me late for a job which cost me money. It was irritating to say the least.
Inwent in today to buy 500 in power cable. Lowes has exact make and model for 2.36 and Homedepot has it for 3.69 i took a picture of barcode and model number because Homedepot beats lowes by 10percent. They refused to even match the price telling me best they can do is 2.86. So apparently they think I want to pay more. I guess lowes is where you should shop at
I couldn’t find anyone to help me with questions on installing shutters. There was no one in the window department. I took in the main aisle for 8 minutes and go one greeted or asked if I needed help. When I finally sought out someone they had very little answer and said someone else will come help me to which I waited another 10 minutes. I am very frustrated with the lack of help or awareness this team has.
What can i say, i love home depot. And any kid that grew up in the 80s like i did saw bill and ted, you can build just about anything here, including robots that look like bill and ted. But seriously, why should i even need to write a review about home depot. Where else are you going to go. Okay maybe ace hardware because they have a better selection of nuts and bolts.
Very unhappy.I’ll try to keep it simple. I did some shopping at Home Depot in Mansfield a few hours ago. I got home and for some reason I looked at my receipt (I usually never do it) and I was very surprised for being charged for items I didn’t buy.I bought 3 bags of mulch and they charged me 5 bags for a total of $12.50. They were only $2.50 per bag, I mean why crying for $5.00 right? Well I bet that if I steal even a single item worth $1.00 from them or any store I would be in trouble.Cashier’s name on my receipt is Celeste. Very nice lady by the way but I believe getting distracted with small talks with customers causes people to make this kind of mistakes.
This is probably one of the worst home depots I’ve ever visited. The employees don’t know where anything is, even when they’re fully staffed no one is around to help and you have to chase them down. I was sent on a wild goose chase, told something was on an isle nowhere near the actual location, asked for help again and help came and walked off. Should’ve just gone to Lowe’s.
Checked on line and this store had 6 on-hand of the countertops I needed. At the store, we located the products even though the layout of this store seems more complex and disjointed than the nearby Hone Depot stores where I typically shop in south Arlington and south Grand Prairie. This visit we found Gabe to be very helpful with the countertop order and assisting in doors and trim, etc. After Gabe wrote up the order and we checked out, one of the checkers at the front called Luis to help us load, and he was very helpful. This visit contrasts with two prior visits to this location where we walked out very dissatisfied with no assistance when the store was short-staffed.
Visited the Mansfield store 3/19/19, and was approached by an employee who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping me find exactly what I needed! THANK YOU so much to Ken (who is deaf) for your patience and understanding!!! You were awesome!! Highly recommend this store and KEN for all your D.I.Y. needs!
Today our visit to HD was awesome. me and my son had an emergency plumbing project. We had a copper line that suddenly started to leak at a connection. We came home from church and there was water all over the floor. Went to Home Depot Mansfield the gentleman in the plumbing department helped get everything we needed along with some very good advice
We wanted flooring that was on sale, but out of stock, so department manager said to check back in a week and when it arrived in store, they would honor the sale price. Store manager decided that wasnt acceptable and said we should have paid for it and backordered it. We would have done so, but that wasnt what we were told. Store Manager was arrogant and believes its our problem to deal with. NEVER AGAIN! Home Depot in Mansfield used to be great, but their service is absolutely terrible now, and this isnt my only reason for saying so.
DO NOT ALLOW THEIR CONTRACTED COMPANY WW INSTALLATIONS TO INSTALL YOUR BLINDS, THE COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH!! If you are handy enough to install your own blinds, then I highly recommend working with Donna or Vanessa in the store blinds dept, but if you require installation of your blinds...RUN...you do not want the major headache of dealing with WW INSTALLATIONS.
Checkout service is absolutely awful. There were two trainees on checkouts and I was waiting in line for more than 10 minutes. All this, while 5 other store associates stood around gossiping - and not one of them acknowledged me or offered to help. Absolutely shoddy service! To be fair, the queues at the contractor checkouts are normally really quick and the girls up there are very friendly, so from now on Im only going to go to those.
Went to Home Depot, after checking at another home improvement store and their wood was all warped. Home Depots wood selection is always the best, even if I have to drive alittle further. I took one star off because while looking at the wood I stepped on a staple and my shoe was covered in blood. I recieved a bandaid and alcohol swab and genuine concern from a employee. Thank you!
Always enjoy the fun trip to Home Depot where you walk around to trying to find someone to help you . That old past time of find the employee at the home improvement store. You know what let me just download the Home Depot app so I can find what Im looking for. Nothing like waiting 10 minutes for your app to download on a crappy cell network blocked by Home Depots wals. Oh here you go heres a 20 megabyte update that you need. Oh and hold the baby while doing all this
I would like to give this Home Depot a five-star but I cant. I called ahead talked to a manager told her I have a Husky half inch ratchet that sometimes it locks up on me. She said bring it in I will exchange it brand new for. I get there older lady that works there said let me see it... HMMM I dont see nothing wrong with it she said.. I said I am not here to debate with you about my ratchet. then the manager walked up with the half inch ratchet in her hand and she said here you go sir I said thank you so much and it made that older lady employee angry.
I looked up a product online before going so I dont waste a trip if not in stock. Item showed 5 in stock. Shelf was empty. Notified employee who made a call to confirm they had it in stock, but when they went to look on the shelf there was none. Stood there for 5 min to wait and hear it wasnt in stock, which I was already aware of. No further help offered. Waste of time and waste of a trip.
I wont go into all the details but I spoke with mgr, Troy, regarding a store credit. Original items were purchased with cash not at this store by my husband. He returned those items because I needed gas money & was given a store credit. We are temporarily living out of vehicle so we did not currently need anything from HD. My husband almost died & was in CCU for over a week. He bought original items for his return to work but took them back so I could use money for gas. Troy looked everything up on computer, as ALL original receipts were attached. He refused to help. He could have made the situation right, but chose not to. $27 would not have broke the store. Someday, we will be on our feet again but, I will NEVER purchase anything from HD. Our situation could happen to anyone - yes, even you, Troy. You get zero stars for compassion & humanity & 1 star for, at least, taking time to talk to me.
Like most people, we were trying to finish a project and needed another tool to do it right. On top of that we were in a hurry as the Cowboys Wildcard game was about to start. We couldnt this cordless nail gun that was showing to be in-stock. The supervisor stopped what he was doing on the other side of the store and worked to get everything we needed for at least 20-30 minutes. Im not even sure it was his department. Thank you Floyd Daugherty and Tino too. This is the reason we make a left to Home Depot instead of a right to Lowes. Yall rock!
People like to complain but when someone doesnt really good job and does goes way out of their way to help you get some materials for the job I appreciate Terry badzwion going out of his way to get me the material I need it for work I appreciate it when people do that thank you very much Home Depot in the roofing area
Once upon a time there was this company that one. Man save single handly. And they should there love in return by jacking up prices in area that had money and lowering them in the less fortunate areas. The man who saved them never went shopping there again no matter what the end
Extremely lazy employees currently on shift at the Return and Pick up desk. Only one gentleman was helping customers while the 5 females stood around on their cell phones or were too involved in their personal conversations to assist anyone. Finally got service when one (Ashley #2 on her apron) said that guy looks mad and I replied I am because if yall worked for me you would be unemployed. I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward.

2021-11-13Outstanding service this evening goes to Clayton at the Home Depot in Mansfield, TX. He listened, offered suggestions, found solutions and was super friendly and eager to help and knew store products. Also offered to put us on a plan where water filters come when its replacement time. Very helpful. Thank again Clayton for your great help. Charles Stinson, Midlothian, TX

2022-07-09I had an online order to pick up and I dealt with Mark at the service desk. He was very professional and made sure to contact LJ, the fork lift operator/ lumber associate , and together they got my order pulled and loaded. Both men were very professional and helpful and made sure my material was correct and it damaged. I definitely will seek them out again when I need something in this store. Thanks again guys.

2022-03-28Its home Depot. What can you not like about this place? Its where guys go on Saturday and get lost in the aisles for 3 hours while the wives stay at home wondering what the heck theyre doing. You could even have a bachelor party this place in my opinion just cut a bunch of wood hammer bunch of stuff build some stuff. Sounds like a pretty good batch of party to me.

2022-07-15Great experience! I went to buy sprinklers because the panel on my sprinkler system went out. I met Nancy and she was the greatest employee EVER! She not only helped me find what I was looking for, she shared her expertise and made suggestions for better products. I knew she was right because I YouTubed it the previous day. She ran and got me a basket to put my items in and pushed the cart for me. I inquired about a car window shade. She actually walked me the isle then looked for the shade. On the way she was greeting all the customers and having a pleasant conversation with them. I have not seen that type of customer service in a long time. It was even better than Chick-fil-A. The shade was out of stock, so she suggested something else and she showed me that. We talked about the heat being over 100 degrees everyday. I was at the register paying for my items and she brings me a bottle of cold water. Who does that?Nancy was amazing. I told her, we (the world) needed nicer, caring people like her. Keep being you Nancy. I will choose the Mansfield location over Cedar Hill for sure.

2022-06-27Anytime Ridgid comes out with a better solution, this store is usually the first to stock it. The latest product eliminates the need for more than one battery charger on my job site by keeping up to 6 batteries charged on a single outlet. No more fighting over generator outlets.

2022-07-08Giving a bad review. Ordered a Husky tool box/workbench online to pick up in store. Website said they had two in stock. Get an email later telling me my order is canceled and they are processing a refund that will take 3-5 days. Why not contact me before cancelling the order? Why charge me before the order is filled? There are three of the same item at another store 8 miles away I could have gone to pick up. Now I have to wait until the refund processes to go get what I needed for this weekend. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!

2022-04-19I understand in this day and time, that all business are shorthanded. But when youve got 4 guys out in the parking lot looking for carts to bring in when a 135lb woman is loading $4000 worth of sheetrock, FRP and cases of Radar Ceiling tiles...that is just ridiculous!! I will think twice about spending my hard earn money at this location!

2022-03-20I visited this store on Sunday March 20 around 1pm. After retrieving my needed items I went to check out, to my misfortune the scanner on the kiosk I went to was malfunctioning, so I called the attendant over to see if there was anything that could be done...at the time the young pregnant woman was idle and only observing patrons as they checked out...when I alerted this lady to the kiosk I was at, her first actions were to mumble something I could only construe as negative by the look on her face, but I endured the indignation...as she tried to fix the scanner she was not only visibly aggravated to have to help me but very rude in her manners and body language towards me...rather then lodge a formal complaint with the management I have chosen to never darken the door of this particular store again and take my business just down the street to their competitor where they are kind and cordial...👎👎👎 0 stars out of 10
