The Home Depot in other cities:
Ive been going to home Depot for many years and you cant never find nobody to help you and electric department or the paint department or lumber department I like home Depot but they need to hire some people because of people out there good they just dont have enough help thank yo
Great place friendly people! Just wish they would stock more milwaukee cordless power tools like the new M18 cordless table saw and the new M12 stubby impact. Midland depot has like 25 table saws in stock and San Angelo has none. An employee told me it was because of how much the store sells but San Angelo store seems to sell alot. I always have to order my milwaukee products online, I just wish I could run to the store in my town.
This truly is the do it yourself warehouse. Find it yourself, answer your own questions, check yourself out and load it yourself. A far departure from the home Depot of years ago. Employees are the KINGS of avoiding you. Shame on this store manager. Many years later, I see nothing has changed with home depot. Come for a hammer and go home woke.
I been sitting in return since 1:40pm its 2:17pm. They are supposed to be bringing money from the back because my return was 400$They didnt have enough in register. I just asked they lady if they were coming and she said rudely yes they are coming A lady finally called and seemed this was the first they heard they needed money. Horrible customer service. No communication.
Home depot has just about everything you need to satisfy your home improvement needs. Just in case they dont you can order just about anything your mind can imagine. They seem to have adequate staff, but I honestly think they could have a little bit more than they do.For the most part the store is kept clean. Everyone in a while you might find random pallets around the store that seem to have been abandoned, but its not the end of the world. The most frustrating part is the checkout and thus the loss of one star. No matter what time of day or how long the lines are, Home Depot never (and I stress never) opens up any of the registers they have. Its strictly self checkout.
Came in this morning to buy a spool of Dewalt string trimmer line. They showed 41 in stock. I couldn’t find it so I asked for help. After 15 minutes I told them to just forget it and I would order it on Amazon. They said that was a good. Gave them two stars because the employee was polite and agreeable although they were not apologetic.
Tried to order some windows but was told no one was working that department. An assistant manager told me there was nothing they could do. She told me to come back another day.I don’t think I’ll bother. If you don’t want my business then I won’t bother you anymore.I’m off to Lowe’s! 👍🏼I gave it one star but Home Depot deserves 💩💩💩💩💩 😠😡🤬
Pretty good when you need something for bigger or more in depth projects. Really good selections but my biggest complaint is their online store never matches what they actually have. I needed a couple pvc 2 45s and online it said they were out but went to get some other things and checked and they had a huge box of exactly what I was looking at online. Little thing but for me it saves a lot of time if I know who has what before I leave to get it.
Not a good experience today. I went in to buy a $948.00 tool box without success. After standing around for 10 minutes looking at the tool boxes without any of the 4 employees walking by acknowledging me, I found someone at the registers and stated “I want to buy a tool box, who can help me?” She pointed to another employee and then walked away. Again, I stood for 10 minutes waiting for some help and decided I’ll spent $1K with a company who appreciates it. The worst experience to date. This is the same reason I stopped shopping at Lowe’s but I guess I’ll have to go back.
Always pretty happy with the service at Home Depot. However purchasing new locks and having them keyed to my house key took him almost 2 hours. I wasnt given any updates unless I prodded. Just standing like a lost puppy from 230pm to 435pm on a Saturday is not how I wanted to spend my free time.
Super great folks work here. I went to Lowes, McCoys, Ace Hardware, and nobody knew about an electrical problem I was having. The electrical lady here helped me out so much and saved time! Sometimes this store has good clearance deals, but sometimes the cashiers dont honor the price. Really good folks though.
In the last three years so I spend a lot of money in Home Depot and two of the greatest employees you have is Bernice and Wendy Bernice has always help this with everything he has one good employee and when I come to the store and I want help I find her and I know Wendy moved to accounting so but she used to do the same for us and I love Home Depot and I dont like the other one please take care of vanille so when I come in there and spend money is there to help me Bernice is a great employee shes very knowledgeable she goes out of her way to help the customer
The rating is for the online services. Im a handyman so I always several projects going on. When I go to home depot I find a very helpful staff. If they dont know the answer they will tell you and find someone who does. On the downside they never have what im needing in complete stock. I am always told to go order online. So for that the physical store itself is useless.
The customer service may be the best in town. Which isnt saying much around here! But all my questions were answered. One gentlemen said he didnt know but went and got someone who did. Very refreshing. I didnt buy anything because they didnt have the complete set up in stock for anything. So in short the staff is great but you have to go online to get anything you need!
If I could give negative stars I would I usually prefer to go to Home Depot but the lack of customer service is horrible. I ordered a door to get installed and it’s been paid in full but The door is still not installed everything that can go wrong has gone wrong starting off by Them ordering the wrong door then bringing in a damaged door.. so finally it came down to where I just took a door off the shelf it was damaged as well but, at this point anything was better than nothing.. moving forward I will will be taking my business elsewhere. And on a sidenote make sure you check your receipts to make sure they are giving you the correct money back when you get an install they come out to take measurements which cost $30 and they tell you that will be taken off of the install good thing I checked because that money was not given back to me so I had to make an extra trip to go back up there to get my refund they will try to pull a fast one on you
Spoke to someone at the weedeater department he was real helpful friendly and really knew his stuff then bought some sheetrock took forever to get someone to help me load it on cart then had to argue about getting help to load it on my truck since I was by myself almost asked for my money back ,was real disappointed.
Poor customer service. Pro desk closed early went to customer service desk was sent to regular checkout which I explained to customer service desk they had to check me out but the three employees were too busy on their phones and chit chatting about their phones to listen to me. We to regular check out where I was informed the service desk had to check me out I told yes I know but they were to busy on their phones and sent me to you and he went over to let them know they had to check me out. So as I push my cart up and approach the desk once again the original gal I told she had to check me out rolled her eyes at me and stepped away for someone else to check me out.
Always hit and miss at the San Angelo Home Depot. Came in to find a pole saw, but the general apathy and rudeness of the associates turned me off of continued shopping. Even a simple greeting from me was met with no response. Different times with different crews equals a sale or no sale.
Often times some staff cannot help you find things. Ive seen a man take over 30 mins to be assisted on a water heater. It took me having a friend whom is a supervisor of a diffrent area. To assist such man. The man was ready to leave I told him I knew a friend there and had him taken care of. This met team employee did that why some met team members know more than the actual floor employees do. Maybe cause they work on displays. But short of no excuse has been that way for nearly ten plus yrs. Unacceptable of any new or veteran staff to not be aware of the items. Yet alone to ask the met team whom are in part very busy with the organization of the store. So why would a customer rely on a met team vs the actual store staff.
I commend the customer service gal; but I fault the cashiers, who were not present for me to be able to buy a can of spray paint. I waited five minutes, untended, ultimately abandoned the product and the purchase at the kiosk. This would not have happened at the Brownwood store.
Searching for specific building materiels for an exterior repair. Located online before going to the store. Purchased just what we needed.. Store was still well stocked for Black Friday. Great deals on tools. Finances prevent us from spending more than what was needed.
Customer service was excellent. However, shopping for toolboxes for my husband and the first two I picked out couldnt even be ordered online. That was annoying, however not the stores fault. I went to Lows to see if they had the style I was looking for... Went through 3 reps that sent me to both ends of the store before the 3rd one finally realized they didnt even carry the brand anymore.
I go to this store almost daily. Very poor blind selections When you find a product you like then they discontinue it. There is very rarely someone to help you in a isle. Lots of missed placed items in isles please look at what your buying so you dont have to come back. I Find returned items on shelfs They really need someone to check over isles, stock, customers I know its a big store just believe its poorly ran
This is the third time that I have placed an online order with Home Depot and it will likely be my last. Customer service at the San Angelo store is the worst of any retail location in town. I was told by one associate to wait for the next associate. The next associate walked past me and then proceeded to checkout. Another associate called for help overhead and I watched as two male associates down the row looked up and then continued to chat with each other. Then the person that came to help out at the counter started sharing photos on her phone with the other cashier. Then a man came to the counter to help and quickly answered the phone that had started ringing. He took care of their complete order over the phone before he got back with me. Just long enough to ask for my name and then he answered the phone again to take care of them. Total lack of customer service. I had a full basket to purchase along with my pickup order and I left it. Obviously this store has too much to do to be worried about customers. Im completely done with this Home Dept.
I needed fittings for my gas stove to connect it to the wall. The pieces I got for the gentleman in plumbing were not correct. I brought the fittings back a couple of hours later only to find out they didnt make the size I actually needed. The gentleman that helped me the second time round sent me to Angelo Plumbing which was very nice of him. Angelo plumbing told me they stopped making 5/8 fittings. That what I needed was 15/16. It worked. I just wish the folks at Home Depot knew that before I went through all the trouble. Though the gentleman, Pat was his name, sent me to a place that could help so that was a redeeming moment
I really like to chopping and home Depot and plus today I had it one employee that he held me to find the tile that I was looking that I thought that I was discontinued his name and is Alexander prendez he told me about a lot of good deals that you have over there in home Depot and Im so excited that you have it employees like him I would like do you have a lot of employees like him he help me a lot and hopefully you recognize this game as a good employee and he helped me to buy something else about a lot of things for my closet and Im going to continue to shopping in home Depot I really really like this employeehes not just want to sell he tell me a lot of lot of good things that you have over there and a good prices and hes so friendly
We are here on a regular. Come in on weekends and get the help you need. Usually you will get better help from a customer than from the employees.Currently here and had to hunt down a lumber employee to get wood down. Found the gentleman and was told he would have to find someone to get the forklift. Still waiting... The forklift is a row over. Oh, and he proceeded to tell me to show him what wood (after I just showed him a receipt).
The best Home Depot Ive been to so far minus the Pro Desk.... apparently young women arent considered professionals by some of the pro desk staff. However, you can type your pro account number into the self checkout kiosks if you want to avoid the pro desk! Other than that the people here are fantastic! Bill in the windows and doors section is a wonderful US Military Vet who always gives great advice on any project and is fun to talk to. Karla in the paint section can make anyone blush with her wonderful compliments and bubbly personality. Alex, a younger man who is always floating around the store somewhere, is always willing to help with anything we may need. Theyve got a great crew at this Home Depot. At the very least thank one of the many Veterans they have on staff while youre there!
Love this place... they take very good care of the people who shops here.... and the management cares about their employees. I think this creates a better atmosphere for any business...Staff are very knowledgeable, to the few that doesn’t know a lot...they strive to find the correct person to help the customers. They carry a great assortments of products you would need... and if it’s not in the store... they can easily get it for you.... and the best thing is...there are TONS of OPTIONS to choose from..
I went to home depot yesterday in search of two items. I didnt know where the items were, as I am not a frequent customer. I approached two different employees that were not helpful at all. The first one said we dont carry what you are looking for. Which I knew was an erroneous statement. I had looked online and at the San Angelo store and not only did it say they carried the item, it said it was in stock. The second employee I approached said the item was in the flooring section. Which also was erroneous. The website said it was in electrical. I began to question the employee about where to find the item in the flooring department? He replied That isnt my department, just ask them. I then asked where the flooring department was?He answered in an aggressive agitated tone far back corner as he pointed in the direction. I went to the flooring department looked all over and could not find my item. Finally I was aggravated and looked on the internet again in the store. After closer investigation I saw the in stock item was on aisle 6 bay 17. I went to that location and found exactly what I was looking for.Needles to say if you cant go to Lowes and you must go to Home Depot do your research beforehand and dont ask their rude staff for help.
Most horrible customer service ever . We had to find what we were looking for ourselves.. the employees need to learn to multi task . We drove 80 miles to pick up some things we needed for a repair .. went to check out and no checker working . We didn’t want to use self checkout. After waiting for a while we , we saw we weren’t going to get help, we left without what we needed ..
The ladies at the help desk were so helpfull, I d iui dont get their names, it was on Wed. Midafternoon, a beautiful black long hair lady and a very knowledgeable kind woman co worker. Libby at the cashiers was very quick and through at check out. Will be back to this Home Depot. Just moved to the area! Thank you!
As a contractor i often frequent this and other building supply companies. Competitors of Home Depot stand no chance when it comes to service and ease of ordering for my clients. Whenever i have a sizable order to place there is no other place i call than Home Depot! And the app available from play store offers much time saving assistance, i use it on a daily basis!
My toddler always insists on taking her tiny backpack of toys with us. We didnt find what we needed here so we were headed out through the self checkout to the door.A middle aged employee with medium length blond hair stopped me. She asked if I was ready to check out with an accusatory glance to my childs backpack. I simply told her I didnt find what we needed. I did NOT appreciate the accusation when we clearly had nothing in our cart to check out.
The people working in the paint department were great but as I was next in line checking out, the guy working the counter just walked away after finishing with the lady in front of me and got on his phone and knew we were waiting. And there was another guy behind me. It was extremely rude and another worker finally came up to check us out. I like Home Depot but thought they should know about this worker, I think his name was Vance or Lance but I do not remember.
Horrible, horrible, horrible service can’t get anyone to help you. When they see you coming toward them they act as if you have some type of contagious disease and get away from you as quickly as they can. I guess they don’t have a supervisor to watch them. They only have 1 cashier the customers are standing in a long line waiting to be checked out.Corporate needs to send some one to take care of the issue.
Absolutely horrible customer service at the paint counter. We stood there for over 40 minutes, meanwhile at least 8 employees walked past us like we werent there. We will be shopping elsewhere for our paint from now on. I would give them 0 stars but google wont let me. You guys really suck at the paint counter.
Very poor customer service and the people working in the department there suppose to know dont know there own products right in front of there face. They didnt even keep the dishwashers on hand that they had on sale said they dont keep hardly any in stock have to order most of them and takes 1-2 weeks to get them in.
I shop here a lot, probably too much. Went in for some HardiePlank and about $300 worth of other stuff. After checking the local Lowe’s for an item HD didn’t have, I noticed that the HardiePlank was about $5 a plank cheaper?? I asked the cashier if they could price match, ( online HD mentioned they would) not not on commodities???? Just say you don’t price match then...... From now on, I’ll just start at Lowe’s, you should too
My complaint is with the cashier. The guy was not very helpful as far as scanning heavy items. He asked my husband to pick up and move items in our cart instead of assiting. Also I asked him to seperate the transaction using two seperate payment options. He said sure he could do it and ended up charging it to one account. He was not apologetic or even tried to remedy the situation...he claimed it was a good thing we had the money in the account or it would have not accepted the payment. My response is just because there is money in the account does not mean I dont have it there for something else. For some ...a $500 transaction that was only suppose to be $100 could really put them in a bind...cancelling the transaction would probably mean a 10 day wait for funds to be put back in the account. Cashiers need to know what they are doing and if a mistake is made, they should correct it, be apologetic, and not brush it off like..oh good thing you have the money.
Today my wife went in to buy lumber for a project. She said at least seven employees watched her as she tried to load sheets of plywood on the cart--however, none of them offered to help. She grew frustrated with the lack of customer service and took her business to Lowes where their employees were eager to help her. Score: Lowes $104 Home Depot $0!
Going to Home Depot looking for an item you cannot get customer service to wait on you they walk by you they look at you like youre crazy they just continued on walking so therefore I had to go to Lowes Home Improvement at Lowes Home Improvement the customers are always number one the employees are asking you can I help you find something sir or if I dont have it can we order it so therefore I have to go to Lowes Home Improvement to get what I need because Home Depot you cant get anybody to wait on you so therefore Lowes is number one in San Angelo Texas

2022-04-28They have Back to the Roots seeds which are the best you can get. I also recommend the grow kits as they can really get your kids interested in this field of study. They have a decent clearance section to but the prices tend to be high on some things.

2022-06-05Dealing with them in person to tell them they arent following their online policy. Had a delivery driver break the order while delivering it. I refused to sign his paperwork. He left it on my front porch. Manager says If it was broken, why did you accept it?I DIDNT.

2018-12-06Its December and the decorations are out. The store has plenty of sales going on and the shelves are neatly stocked. I was a little bummed that they put all the seed starting stuff away for the winter, but found everything else I came for.Star deduction for lack of space in aisles.

2022-05-02Home Depot Store Manager (San Angelo, TX),The paint counter Manager (tall gentleman with red hair) does not care about customers, waited 30 mins at counter after several pages and when he finally approached he did not greet any customers, as if we were an inconvenience for him, which is okay because my company will now exclusively shop at Lowes.Thank you.

2017-11-22I can only speak for the paint department, but the representative there was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I got everything I needed to work on my project, which is pretty much what you expect from a hardware store. A+, 5 stars, bravo!
